full effect during this draft season. You may know him
as who's your Mama? We just called he's off over

type of guy, and he's here to deliver man. Before
(03:27):
we get into the show, but I gotta ask you, TJ,
how you doing this weekend? Man? How you feeling?
Speaker 3 (03:34):
I feel good. You see some of these players and
some of these kids that I've known for so many years,
they dreams come true. And I've been texting all of
them like, yeah, your dreams that come true. Now, none
of that matters. It's what you do when you get there.
You made it to this point. You be excited. You
(03:54):
should be happy. I'm proud of yourself, but none of
that matters now. Now you got to stick it, make
a name for yourself. And so you work so hard
to get there. Now you got to work even harder
to stay. But other than that, man, I'm doing great, fantastic.
How are you doing.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
I'm good, man, you know, I'm feeling pretty good. Working hard,
you know, trying to make things happen. You know, it's
here and there. I was just in Pennsylvania doing some
some some work, some fine work there, and you know,
just some good stuff going on.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Man.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
So I'm happy to be back in LA. It's it's
not as sunny, it's not. It's not it's not super
bright outside, but you know what, We've had some good
days and it's really hot. Skinning a little better out here.

or up on Game Presents. Wherever it is that you
get your podcast from. Get some great content. NFL Draft
Day one and two. TJ. Hushman's aid of what were
you looking for during this draft? What were what was
your take away so far?
Speaker 3 (05:02):
To be honest with you, man, I was looking at
my draft, viewing and watching. It was from a selfish
perspective because of the guys that I know, wanted to
see him in good situations, wanted to see him drafted
as early as possible. And so that's how I took
in the draft specifically just about my guys and the
(05:23):
guys that I know. I just want to see those
guys get drafted. Because you don't know this or how
this feels, but there you go. No no, no, no,
and even plaques doesn't either. When you see guys that
you feel you are better than being drafted ahead of.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
You, it kind of bothers you.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
And so to see these guys get drafted, get drafted,
I was a couple that probably felt certain guys went
ahead of them that that for me, it was good.
And like I said earlier, it does not matter where
you go, it's what you do when you get there.
You can be the last pick, you can be the
(06:07):
first pick. If you don't play the way you're supposed
to play and prepare the way you're supposed to prepare.
You're not gonna be in the league long. All them
guys in the first round your platform, you say, congratulations,
half of them gonna be bus And so how do
you prevent yourself from being in that percent that don't
(06:30):
make it? That's the key, hard work, preparation, trying to
do the right things off the field. And I think
a lot of guys don't realize is once you get
to the city you play for, you have a ton
of free time. How do you manage your free time
and make sure that you can stay in that city
(06:51):
as long as possible without doing the things you shouldn't do.
I mean, you got a lot of free time, you
got a lot of money, you got a lot of
people knock it at your door for whatever reason. How
do you navigate through that? How do you manage that?
And those are things that people don't really understand. You
know this, you're gonna go to OTA's if you graduated,
practice for a couple hours, work out for an hour.
(07:12):
Rest of the day, what you're gonna do and that's
every single day. And so just trying to help these
guys navigate through that watching the draft. Now, I got
some guys that I would like to see drafted. But
it's a blessing, man, just to be a part of this.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Indeed, indeed, you know I was watching the draft, I
did did coverage with with Jay Glazer.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
And you big time, you big time. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
you big time. I saw that a big time.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
I don't do Fox Sports like you do. I'm not
on TV anymore. And for everybody out there who didn't know,
you know, TJ is actually the reason why I was
able to get back into to media. Uh So, I just,
you know, I just play my role, man, that's all.
I was here and we had a good time and
broke down the draft. It went really well, you know.
But I did not have that experience in the draft.
(07:58):
But while we're talking about media, I have had that
experience in media for what it's worth. I mean, just
put that out there. I do see people out here
that I know we're better than that. Are oh national
platforms doing doing what they do. But God bless good
luck to them and do what you do. But we
we just you know, we're here, Like you said, we're available.
You know, best ability is availability. And while we were
(08:19):
doing that show. You know, I was thinking to myself, man,
like Philly, Philly is building a juggernaut. Man, that was
my first thought. They're building They're building a juggernaut, and
Detroit might jump out here and whoop everybody's ass next year. Now,
(08:41):
Dan Campbell is starting to not look so laughable with
some of the bold proclamations and some of the way
he approaches the things that he says and how he
says it. You know, the architecture of this Detroit Lions
team is looking really serious.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Man.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
I don't know how many people bar up on Jake
Campbell the inside.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
Safe to say, you you like what the Detroit line
are doing.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
I know you. I know you have been high on them,
and you you won your off Whites with that and
stuff like that. Whites, We're gonna have to figure We'll
have to figure that out because I have been getting
my shoe game, Like, bro, wait till you see my shoes.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
No, no, no, no, no, I've noticed that, and I'm like
where mine's.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Yeah, Man, you owe me a parent.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
I don't won't get them.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
I got the plug. I've just been spoiling myself.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
There we go.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
I really don't ever do anything for myself. You know,
you know me. If you know me, you know I
do everything for the family. You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
I don't do nothing.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
But I have really gotten in is shoe. You see
my kicks today, Man, I'm I'm gonna send you a picture.
They super fire. I'm We're gonna get you your off
whites broh and you were on, you were on this
Detroit this Detroit kick and and you know what, I
believed in Dan Campbell's belief. I didn't believe that he
would get the results. I really didn't. They have started
(09:57):
to get the results the obviously doing as well as
they did this this season, coming around and really starting
to take a definitive step forward. You know, you think
that they probably may lose Swift and free agency this year,
and he's dealt with injuries TJ. But man, they add
(10:18):
that baby, Jamiir Gibbs. And if you are aware of
Jamiir Gibbs, he is a Alvin Kamara, coast to coast
type of big play player out of Alabama. I love
I was getting to Jack Campbell inside backer. You know,
he's one of those guys. He will become the heart
and soul of this this team, Like, that's one of
(10:42):
those guys. He's a grown ass man, super super high IQ,
very very intelligent, and he's a linebacker like that dude
plays linebacker right. And then they added the man. They
added a safety from Alabama, they got brand Oura I'll
(11:04):
tell you what, Bruh. And then they added Hendon Hooker
and that that was like kind of like the deciding
factor to me, Like, man, Now, a guy like Hendon
Hooker if he goes to the right situation, which I
would say Richardson and Hooker had have, in my opinion,
the highest ceilings of every quarterback that went in this
(11:26):
draft class. Like I think we know what we're getting
with Bryce, I think we know what we're getting with CJ. Stroud.
What's going to be their situation? How will it play out?
Because there's going to be so much pressure on them
to perform immediately, and you and I both know Man's
that's a lot of pressure and that's very hard, especially
when you go into a situation where the team hasn't
(11:48):
been as good and you know, Texans will have to see.
I think they had a good I think they had
a fine draft as well. Carolina, they seem to pull
it together a little bit, so it might not be
as crazy for but it could be a hard situation
for him. But for Hendon Hooker, he gets an opportunity
to sit behind golf, learn a little bit. This team
is going to continue to improve, and before you know it,
(12:11):
it's Hendon Hooker's opportunity to step in and be that guy.
I really like what Detroit did in this draft, and
if I was taking away outside of Philadelphia Spoils becoming
a little bit richer and kind of maybe even broadening
the gap between them and other teams, I would say
Detroit was the winner definitively so far in the draft.
(12:33):
For me, what say you before we get to this
first break.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
You know, honestly, for me, I don't like saying who's
a winner and a loser? Okay, sooner we just don't know.
Many will say why you draft jamyor gibbs is who
values running backs? Why would you draft him this? Many
will say the middle linebacker has also become devalued from
(12:57):
a draft perspective, not on the field perspective. You're trade
Hockinson to draft Laporta like huh Brian Branch many thought
would be a first round pick, very versatile. I like
that pick. And so you just don't know until these
games are played and these players begin to show what
(13:20):
that you don't know. You talk touch on the Panthers
draft and Bryce, the Texans draft and CJ Stroud?
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Who's CJ Stroud throwing the ball to? Truth? Who was
he throwing the ball to? Figured it out?
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Like, honestly, if you're not a real football fan, you
don't know any of the receivers on the Houston Texas roster.
You don't know any of them. And that's the thing
is he left Ohio State and for the last two years,
every receiver he's thrown the ball to, for the most part,
(13:58):
has been a first round pick. He's going to the
Houston Texans and he does not have what he played
with in college. He's accurate, he'll make it happen, but
who is he throwing the ball to? It, So you
just don't know which team had a good draft, which
team did not. CJ's gonna be fine. Bryce is gonna
(14:19):
be fine, and the majority of these players will be fine.
If they're putting positions to succeed, you know, oh, this
guy can't play. This guy is a buzs that. No, no, no, no, no, no,
I don't believe in that. It's the coaches that have
not putting them in advantageous positions to be successful. That's
why guy is a bus because the coaches are trying
to fit them in a spot that doesn't fit their
(14:42):
skill set. That that's me. So it's hard to say,
man and everybody that was drafted, congratulations, you better keep working.
But I don't like to say, oh, this team had
a good draft. This team did not.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
I like.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
I mean, if I have to pick, and because I will,
I actually I liked what the Steelers did the.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Way the guy's the Steelers draft that I'm Peter Jenner draft.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
You get Darnelle Washington late in the third round when
he owned you're concerned about his knee andrey get out
of here. When somebody drops, they always make an excuse.
Darnelle Washington can play football, and that's a perfect division,
perfect team. He's basically an extra lineman that can run.
And so I like what the Steelers did. But there's
(15:29):
a ton of teams going into this that I like.
But you just don't know, LeVar, you don't I like it.
I like where you came from with that. That's TJ.
Hutchman's out of right there. I'm LeVar Arrington plus coach traveling,
so he won't be on today, but that's all right.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
We'll hold it down. Next on the other side of
the break, we'll talk Will Levis. He fell pretty far down.
He went in a round two ends up with the Titans.
We'll talk about the impact of that for the Titans
team and what it meant maybe for Will Levis. We
heard TJ. Huschman's out to talk about that guy feeling
like the guys going in front of them are better.
I'm interested to hear TJ's perspective on Will Levis and
(16:05):
him falling to the Tennessee Titans and if that is
a great position for him to be in. This is
Up on Game. I'm LeVar Arrington, TJ. Huschman, Zada. We'll
take a quick break Fox Sports Radio. We'll be right back. Hey,

All right, Will levis TJ. I gotta say he falls
into round two, ends up with the Titans. The Titans
trade up to get to them and to bring them in.
I always say, sometimes your blessings are wrapped in maybe
(17:58):
what you would see of, you know, initially as a
you know, it wasn't a blessing. It was it was
a tragedy. It was it was bad, it was a failure.
A lot of a lot of feeling you could see
see coming from Will Levis and his family on on
night one day one when he did not go in
(18:20):
the draft, ends up going to Tennessee. But I gotta
tell you, Tennessee is one of those teams there. They're
a fringe team. They could it could go either way
with them. But one thing I do know is is
that Mike Vrabel is a fine coach. If they're trying
to build towards the future and trying to figure it out,
(18:44):
Will Levis gets the opportunity to allow another quarterback to
go through that that that time of figuring out what's
going on while he learns the game. Like I just
mentioned about Hindon Hooker, and it just seems to make
a lot of sense to be in a scenario, in
a situation where you learn from that type of staff
(19:07):
and not have the pressure of going in immediately. Now,
I will say, I'm curious as to what this means
for Malik Willis. It obviously seems to mean that they're
not a believer in Malik Willis. So I wonder if
they're going to keep him on the roster. What happens
with that scenario. Maybe you can shed some better light
on it. But all in all, I don't think this
(19:31):
was a bad thing playing out for will Levis to
get it the way that he did. If you recall,
a guy by the name of Jalen Hurts did not
go in the first round. He actually was a second
rounder as well. They didn't even really seem to be
excited about him being picked up by the Eagles. Lo
and behold, here they are in the super Bowl this
past season, competing for a world title. So what was
(19:56):
your takeaway from Will Levis? And I know you talked
about how guys that get drafted ahead of you. You know,
you sit there and you feel as though you're better
than some of these guys that their names are getting called,
and it plays a little bit on you. Is this
a good thing? Does this play as motivation for will Levis?
How how should he be approaching this?
Speaker 3 (20:18):
You know, at the quarterback position, and tough, and it's
a lot of what you said, it's a lot of
unknown Like are they really done with Malik Willis after
one year? When he was a project anyway? You know,
he was a guy that wasn't supposed to come in
and be an immediate starter. So the fact that they've
given up on him, which they have when you draft
(20:39):
the quarterback in back to back years, you've given up
on the quarterback you drafted in the previous year. What
did he do to make them say, ah, he doesn't
have it? Now? For will Levis, it's do the Titans
have the weapons? Can they surround him with the weapons
to allow him to be successful? Obviously, now we know
(21:01):
Ryan tanney Hill would be the starter no longer than
the next two seasons. I mean, that's what it seems like.
It's up the wheel his work ethic. Can he process
information fast enough? If you look at the S two test,
the S two tests will say he can. So let's
see if that's the case again, was he really that
(21:29):
heighty tider? We talked about this. I don't know if
you're on or if you're off that week or not, LeVar,
but he started at Penn State. He couldn't beat out
Sean Clifford. He couldn't beat out Sean Clifford LeVar, And
so he's physically very talented, but he transferred from Penn
(21:49):
State because he couldn't beat out a quarterback that has
yet to be drafted. And so you can be physically everything,
but if you don't understand things mentally, if you can't
process information, if you can't think and then react and
just play with great timing, your physical attributes don't matter.
(22:13):
And so all these kids, man, I wish the best
for all of them. Obviously that's not gonna happen, but
you got to be putting good situations. He's in a
good situation with Mike Rabel. The way he runs a
program Tennessee was not very good when he took that job,
and he's done a very very good job with the Titans.
(22:34):
And so if you can get in any situation, this
is one of a few that you say, Okay, I
like my chances here. He needs weapons. They don't have.
The guys on the outside shouldn't have traded Hey J Brown,
but swatter, that's a done deal there. So they got
to put some weapons around around these dudes and hope
(22:57):
that's enough. But Will Levis has a physical talent, can
now he mentally processed everything that needs to be done
to be a successful quarterback.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
I'm high on Will. I'm wishing wishing the best for him.
I'm a tabit biased. He is a Penn State Nidney
line before he became a Kentucky Wildcat. I do know
him personally, Uh, I know he has the mindset and
the resolve to take take a situation like this where
he's probably very, very tremendously disappointed and where he was drafted,
but will ultimately turn this into motivation to he'll prove
(23:32):
him wrong.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
If he's a good player. You get the free agency
sooner than everybody that. That's very that's very true. You
ahead it that way. Yeah, you got your Uh, you
got me now, hopefully I can get you later.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
It just comes back again to what I feel like
I originally started the conversation is sometimes there's a blessing
within the curse, you know, or whatever you want to
call I don't think it's a curse, but you know,
you look at it from the standpoint of your your
hopes are so high to go high in the draft,
and it didn't happen that way, but you might have
ended up exactly where you need it to be, because
(24:05):
a lot of times when you go early, you don't
end up invest a situations in terms of having an
opportunity to have success. So we'll see how that plays out.
But moving from one young quarterback to another quarterback, Aaron
Rodgers is now officially a jet. We will touch on that,
but first we got to go to my man, the
legend de man fit himself. I'm able to look him
(24:26):
in the eyes. We can see each other. I loo
at long last, and I get to see your beautiful
face while you give your up. Here we go likewise,
growing crawn everyone with our update.
Speaker 5 (24:38):
Guys, we are already eight picks in to round four
of the NFL Draft, so let's get you caught up.
With the first pick of the fourth round, one hundred
and third overall, the New Orleans Saints selected Old Dominion
guard Nick salda Very. Then the Raiders took Maryland cornerback
Jacorian Bennett. With the third pick of the fourth round,
(25:00):
the Philadelphia Eagles selected Georgia cornerback Keeley Ringo. Looks like
the Eagles are hoping that Ringo will be a.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Star from Tombstone.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
Uh, no, from Tombstone.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
That's interesting, Johnny Ringo. Yeah, a quick gun too. It
was a quick quick gun, right.
Speaker 5 (25:23):
I was thinking whyet well, I was saying whiter, but
same principle.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
He was going to battle whyater remember, and then he
ran into I'll be your huckleberry, and my man Doc
Holiday went ahead and popped his ass. But go ahead
and look at you.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
I didn't know you were such an expert on Tombstone.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Well, I'm a Western guy. My dad. Yeah, I'll be
a huckleberry. My granddad was a big westerns guy.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Have you ever visited Tombstone? You can actually visit to Okay.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
I have seen Huma though, I've been to Huma.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
Oh, San Diego. Padres used to train at Yuma. With
the fourth selection and the fourth round, the Indianapol Colts
drafted BYU offensive tackle Blake Freeland. Then the Patriots drafted
another offensive lineman, Troy center Jake Andrews. The Seattle Seahawks
at one eight overall have drafted LSU guard Anthony Bradford.
(26:15):
Then the Houston Texans drafted TCU edge rusher Dylan Horton.
And with the one hundred and tenth pick overall. The
Indianapolis Colts drafted Northwestern defensive tackle Addie Tommy Wah Addie Barrat,
and the Cleveland Browns will be next on the clock
in the fourth round. So that's where we are in
the NFL Draft and also trending fellas the NBA playoffs.
(26:38):
Gonna take you, guys back to the aftermath of Game
two of the series between the Memphis Grizzlies and Los
Angeles Lakers. And Memphis is Dylan Hooks addressing Lebron James.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
I don't hear you, old pulled beers. I don't respect
no one until they come and give me for you.
Speaker 5 (26:58):
And as they stay on social media, that did not
age well, No to not because because last night he
got his wish. The Lakers beat the Grizzlies by forty
one twenty five to eighty five to take the series
four games to two. And we have some fresh Dylan
Brooks news for you. He did not speak to the
media again last night. Oh no, what what a shock?
(27:22):
Come on, come on, Dylan, don't be patty. However, this morning,
a Lakers fan posted a new video now to get
people out there, a picture of the layout of Crypto
dot Com Arena. The arena formerly known as Staple Center.
So a lot of visiting teams LeVar they stay at
the Ritz, which is one block away from Crypto dot
(27:43):
Com Arena. So sometimes visiting teams take the bus, the
team bus the block from the arena, Yeah, to the Ritz, Carlton,
But sometimes.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
I've been in the Rich a few times. It's right there,
like you just walked there.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
Well, Dylan Brooks to what, No, he walks, Oh, he walked,
and a Lakers fan videotaped and titled the video Dylan
Brooks's Long Walk of Shame. It's three minutes long of
him walking stone faced, wearing dark glasses the block from
the arena to the Ritz, while being mercilessly heckled by
(28:17):
Laker fans who has posted less than two hours ago.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Not that far of for a walk, though, It's not
that bad.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Yeah, it's not bad. But but here's the thing though,
due to interviews like exactly taken to.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Begin with when you win and sing the blues when
you lose.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
Exactly, so, I can't stop stop myself from watching this
three minute quote long walk of shame back to you,
and it's so nice to be able to see face
to face.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Indeed, yeah, yeah, yes, Why why Dylan Brooks have autumn
the nicks on his forehead though it looked like he
had been getting elbowed all series long? Like why it
looked like it looked like he wear a helmet or
something like that. You know, I wanted to football head helmets,
helmet heads or whatever. I don't know. Maybe he literally
(29:05):
got banged up, you know what I mean? Rough series.
You know, I wanted to play the Lakers so we
can knock him out right away. They didn't gotta be
careful what you asked from Plexico. Lucky he not here.
They we came through and they don't look bad. I
called the Lakers a non factor. I know, I got
(29:26):
to pay off the t's on Aaron Rodgers. I got,
all right, all right, how about this, we'll switch. We'll
do We'll do Aaron Rodgers next next break. Let's just
stay here, all right. I did not see the Lakers
being a factor in the playoffs. I thought that they
would win this series, possibly because especially because of John
(29:49):
Moran's hand, I mean, when his hand got injured. I
was like, they just don't They're not going to have enough.
But they not only ended up coming through and winning
the series TJ, they actually started to play together, almost
like they they found the rhythm. They found a little
(30:09):
bit of chemistry, a little bit of camaraderie in this series.
It almost has a dangerous type of feel to it.
If you ask me now, I don't. I'm not gonna
get carried away and say this now looks like a
team that could go all the way and win it.
But I ain't gonna say that they don't either.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
It's let me say this, and I'm guilty of this
as well with the eighty slander, but Man, he may
not be given us offensively, what we want is fans
game in and game out, But defensively, man, Ad has
(30:52):
showed up every single game, and so I don't care
what happens from here on out. Done with the Ad slander,
it ain't coming out my mouth any longer because he's
shown up every single game on that defensive end, whether
he was getting buckets or not. I knew we was
(31:16):
gonna win this series. I said it, and it was.
It wasn't an easy series. You can, yeah, Joe hurt
his hand, but they won a game that y'all didn't play,
And so the Memphis Grilly Grizzlies have a good team.
The Lakers right now we just playing better man we.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
One game is.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
D'Angelo Russell, one game is Lebron, it's Austin Reeves, it's
a d You don't know who is gonna be and
so far best players aren't playing well offensively. We got
other guys that can get it done. And now we're
gonna play the winner of Sacramento and Golden State. It's
a forty five minute flight, so now that wear and
(31:58):
tearing your body won't be as much the next series.
You don't have to travel across the country. Yeah, they
go ahead and beat themselves up tomorrow that Sacramento in
Golden State and we'll see them on Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Yeah. Well, I'll say this, I think Sacramento is the
better team between Golden State and the Kings. But obviously
you got to knock off the champ before you can
be the champ. And they just have seemed to make
this a closer series than what they needed to. That
(32:31):
was a decisive, impressive victory that Sack got against them.
I don't know that they can get them two times
in a row. But I just don't I don't see
I just don't see the Lakers. I just don't see
the Lakers making it to the finals. I just don't
see it. I don't see them being the factor. I
(32:51):
feel like it's either one of the two teams out
of this this series between sack And and Golden State
or or the Suns. I feel like those are the
three teams out of the West that, like the Nuggets,
look pretty good. But the Nuggets always they always mess
the bid up as they get deeper into the playoffs.
(33:12):
I don't know why, but they just don't. They don't finish.
I don't see them as finishers. And I just don't
know that the Lakers. I just don't know that the
Lakers can hold it together or do it at a
high enough level to win out in the West, even
though they look pretty impressive towards the end of this series. Man,
(33:33):
I will say, yeah, I was impressed by the way
they finished out then closed out this series.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
Phoenix, when when you talk top end, nobody has what
Phoenix has at the top with Durant and Booker Chris Paul,
nobody has that those three guys like that, especially with
Durant Booker, and then you look at the number one
seed the Nuggets with Jokic, Murray, Michael Porter, Aaron nobody
(34:01):
has that. But when when you when you look at
the way that the Sun struggled with the Clippers, and
you start to say, ah, they miss bridges, they miss
Cam Johnson, they missed that depth. Kawhi didn't play in
those games were coming down to the fourth quarter. Denver
(34:24):
started to struggle with Minnesota those last two games, although
they won the series four one, and so I like,
I like our chances against anybody, anybody in the West.
It's not gonna be easy. But those teams that I
just named, they don't have an answer for a D.
And I think that's that's what when we get into
(34:47):
these tough series like Golden State, I don't they don't
have an answer for a D. The Kings are. They
gonna put some bonus on them. So if we can
play through a D early and get him some touches
and let him get some shots up early, it may
open everything up. They gonna double them immediately. Our spacing
has to be well. Slashers gotta cut to the basket.
(35:09):
But I like our chances. Man because Memphis was one
of the better teams in the West, and uh we
just ran straight through him.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
That is analysis of the LA Lakers from LA Lakers
super fan TJ. Huschman Zada. I am LeVar Arrington. We
are up one game. Plexico Is is traveling, so he's
off this weekend. On the other side of the break,
as I mentioned, we'll talk to Aaron Rodgers officially a
(35:43):
j E ts Jet Jets Jets. Yeah, all right, we'll
take a quick break. We'll be right back. Fox Sports Radio.

All right, that's Chok dot com. Code Draft. All right,
that's Code Draft. Aaron Rodgers is officially a New York
Jet now TJ. What was your takeaway from it finally
(36:46):
getting done? Well, why did it take so long?
Speaker 4 (36:48):
What?
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Just what's your impressions of it?
Speaker 3 (36:50):
It's about Tom. It got done because they wanted they
the Packers these selections in this draft. I thought it
was a fair trade minus the conditional pick next year
that if he plays sixty five percent of the snaps
turns into a first round pick. I don't like that.
(37:11):
The swap of first round picks I thought was fair,
and I thought it should have just been a second rounder.
But I'm not the one doing the deal. It's gonna
be Uh, the AFC is gonna be a blood bath, LeVar.
I mean, the Jets had a really good defense. They're
fighting for the playoffs, as Plaux would say, with Zach
(37:33):
Wilson is the quarterback, and so for them to be
in a position that they were in, you got a
Rookie of the Year in Garrett Wilson in their quarterback position.
Was what it was that that man that their division
in the AFC in general is it's gonna be tough
(37:55):
to predict.
Speaker 4 (37:56):
I like to move.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
I think the Jets will be contenders for the Super
Bowl to come out out of the AFC. But I
could say that about four or five teams right now
on paper, and everybody would probably say, yeah, I could
see each of those teams getting there. Lamar soon in
his contract. I could see the Ravens getting there. Cleveland
should be improved with the Sean, I could see them
getting there, obviously, The Bengals, the Bills, the Chiefs. I mean,
(38:21):
there's just so many good team the Chargers, so many
good teams in the AFC. It's it's wow, all right.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
But when you look at the AFC East, now that
Aaron Rodgers is a Dolphins, you got the Dolphins, you
got the Patriots, you got the Bills. The Bills seemingly
are are trying to kind of retool a little bit
of what they got going on. I would still say
that the Bills, in my assessment opinion, would be the
(38:52):
team that is probably favored to win that you want.
Speaker 3 (38:57):
To do the AFC predictions in April.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I mean, I'm just saying just to right now, but
just in the East. Let's just say in the East.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Where a Rogers, Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Patriots.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
They take that farard step back.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
It's not that they taking a step back Lavars steps forward.
I don't disagree with that. It's not the Bills that
have taken steps back. These other teams have improved. Like
the Bills draft Kinkaid with their first pick, and I'm like,
you got Dawson Knox. Do you really need King? Are
(39:36):
you gonna play him like a receiver? But he's not
a receiver? Like good player. I like King, Kate a Ton,
really good player, really great movement skills, fluid in their hips,
really good route runner. But you have Dawson Knox. And
so it's not what they've done, it's what It's not
them taking a step back, it's the other teams taking
a step forward.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
I like that. I like that take on it, and
I think that's a solid take. Yeah. I like Aaron
Rodgers going there. It's a conference, a division that's up
for grabs right now. There's seemingly a lot of great
pieces that are in place, and things have come together
in New York. I'll tell you that's TJ. If they
(40:16):
don't have a good year in New York with the Jets,
that is going to be one hell of a storyline
that continues to play out. It'll be basically a storyline
that continues to keep giving every single week if they
come up short some way, somehow. I'm curious to see
how that plays out, because you got to believe that
the Jets are at least in the conversation of being
(40:39):
favored now that they have Aaron Rodgers. And we'll see
if Tua can stay healthy. I think that that's going
to be a major piece of this because we saw
them fall off as Tua's health fell off. So that'll
be interesting to see. Yeah, we'll pay attention to that.
We got our two.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
This is some good teams, man. Yeah, golf has just
got Jaylen Ramsey.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
And if tour can stay healthy with men.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
They should, I mean, they should be in pole position.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
But I think great football season. If guys can stay
healthy and play football the way we've seen them play
in years past.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
I'll tell you this, it won't be short of any
type of entertainment value. So that's t J. Hushman's out.
I'm LeVar Arrington. This is up on game our one
just like that came and went. So make sure you
get up, take a stretch, breathe, you know what I mean,
and we'll be right back after this with hour two.
That's what I mean. It's up on Game all right,
(41:38):
Fox Sports Radio. We'll be right back.
