(01:30):
who we'll talk about? That makes no makes no sense.
And I just here we we we do have another
the three of me goals joined us. Okay, look he
he up and running. But how you doing, blax? What's
going on? Everything is beautiful, man, guess what we got
out here? All overcast? Just a little bit of such
(01:53):
shy you know, it is clear skies and palm trees.
I didn't say anything because I was on by myself,
so I did miss speak into just the audience of myself.
But I'm in the Bahamas right now, plex and uh
we uh man. Yesterday it was raining all day, broh Man,
all day. Man, make sure you slid by the sls. Man,
(02:15):
that's where that's where I'm staying. That's where I'm staying
at And when they got a twenty one and up

my kids with me, take them to the rocks and
let him jump off over box into the pool. Man. Man,
I did that about forty times h Thursday. Man, that
thing was so funny. The water slide was on that all. Yeah,
(02:39):
it's been fun, but we got a good show playing
for you. UM appreciate you joining us. Mike McCarthy, What
does he have to do to continue to be the
Dallas Cowboys head coach? The Big ten is loading up
the Big twelve. Say we're open for business. Lebron who
is he talking about when he says some teams don't
(03:01):
have that win or bus mentality? Will get into that
as well. But before we get going, we're gonna he's
been in the news for a while now. Before we
get going, before let me Ryan, Sam, how you how
y'all doing this morning? Oh we're chilling. We're chilling. We're
just you know, trying to get our boil LaVar up.
(03:21):
But uh but it's a it's a good morning. Otherwise,
it's been a lot of fun. A LaVar must be
the busiest human being I've ever been around. In LaVar
is always on the go. I don't even know when
LaVar sleeps, really to beyond, LaVar is busy. But until
(03:42):
he joins us, let's let's dive into this. Your Houston,
Texas they settle with thirty of the Deshaun Watson accusers.
What do you make of it? What does it mean
for Deshaun Watson and I guess his investigation, his possible
suspension moving forward, Um, what's your take on applex man?
(04:04):
I think there are a lot of pros and cons
to the whole situations. Now, it's like thirty women, so
you know, uh, I guess they find out checks are
being handing out. So the tex the Houston, Texas, you know,
suddenly with these women to basically say, you know, we
are not uh, you know, responsible and we stand clear
(04:26):
basically in these you know, sexual assault or misconducts. So
they're kind of disassociating themselves with this whole thing by
making all paying all these settlements. But like DeShawn Washington
has been stated and claiming his innocence through this whole process,
which I understand. So does it mean that they're settling
(04:49):
or they're not settling. Does it prove any innocence or guilt?
As I think the thing is that everybody is kind
of you know, looking at and I think with Deshean
make you know, settling with all these females and these
women is massuses are claiming out that he can't that
(05:09):
he said had misconduct during these sessions. Is that, you know,
he doesn't have to go to court and basically build
witness in his own defense when he's settling to basically
say he was innocent. But I think, you know, listen,
the guy got two hundred thirty million knowledge. He's just
I think he's settling with these with the massage stairs
(05:31):
to basically, you know, rid himself of all of these
allegations and the accusations that that these that women are claiming.
But I don't think it's a good situation. I do
believe he's going to be suspended for the year. But
the Houston Texans are basically saying to themselves that they
(05:52):
had no recollection of any wrongdoing on Deshaun's behalf or misconduct,
and they're just choosing to resolve this matter by paying
these settlements. I mean, it's like the Houston Texas are
basically saying, listen, on the surface, we had no idea
(06:15):
this was going on. We just want the headache to
go away. We want that. Oh, the renaissance man, the
man that's busier than anyone I know, he's here. LaVar
welcome we're talking Toshaun Watson. UM, well, thank you for
having me on. Well, well, thank you for blessing us
(06:36):
with your presence. Mr Arrington, thanks you very much. Sure, glad, glad,
I'm joined you guys man that I was listening to
program and I I'm hearing that you guys are speaking
of the settlements taking place with the check well with
little technical difficulties. So what will did that go out? Yeah,
(06:58):
it's just in and out. So until we get LaVar
figured out that this the Houston Texas are saying this,
we had no idea. Uh, we don't want to be
a part of this. We're just gonna settle. Deshaun Watson
is no longer Houston Texan. Yes, he was a Houston
Texan when these allegations allegedly took place. What was weird
(07:19):
was it's they settled with thirty, Deshaun Watson settled with
twenty with four outstanding? Where did the other two come from?
Have they not sued Deshaun Watson? Do they plan on
sewing him later? Um? I don't know what's going on
with that. I honestly a lot of you know, Oh,
(07:41):
he's gonna get a year of suspension. When we touched
on this last week, I really look at last year
has been a year suspension. I really look at if
he suspended again, that's in essence a two year suspension.
I don't see him getting but he was never formally suspended, correct,
(08:01):
But you know, when the game is taken away from us,
that's in essence a suspension. It was easy because he
got paid. I'm sure he'd get that ten million dollars
back and say to say it was never suspension. What
the Houston Texans did they kept him off the field
because because it's not quote unquote, he didn't want to play.
So it was easy for the Houston Texans. It was
(08:24):
easy for the National Football League to say, Deshaun Watson
doesn't want to play for the Houston Texas, so let's
keep him off the field with pay. That that was
the easy thing to do. Now it's not easy. So
what you're saying last year was was his foremal suspension
in essence, and that'sence you you know, that's when when
(08:45):
you can't play the game, you feel like you've been suspended.
And so they may not look at it that way.
You may feel like you're being suspended, but until Roger
Goodell puts it out and puts it on a piece
of paper. That's that's the formal suspension. And that's what
that's what gonna be held accountable on, is what they
(09:08):
do in terms of their actions towards the suspension. So
that would be the only reason why I would I
agree with some of what you're saying, t J, but
I ultimately think that what Plex is saying is right.
It's gonna be what the NFL because the NFL never
formally had to get involved because he never got close
to coming to the field. So, yeah, the game, but yeah,
(09:32):
but they can't. That's still not a formal it's still
not a formal suspension. So and and here's here's the
here's an interesting question. Thirty Watson settled with the Texans.
But Watson is only settled with what what twenty four man.
They heard. They was handing out check everybody. So he
(09:56):
got four left. He's still got four left. But here's
the thing, Right, everybody wants to get paid, but you
know what, everybody doesn't have the information or the evidence
to get paid. So for thirty people to settle with
the Texans, there was significant understanding evidence to be considered
(10:16):
before them Texans gave out that those you know that
those those settlements. So to me again, I know there
are a lot of people out here saying a lot
of different things as it applies to Deshaun Watson. He
hasn't been legally found guilty of anything. He hasn't been
put on trial. He did like what has he done wrong?
(10:38):
These are all allegations, Yes, there are, These are allegations,
but people have to understand just because not just because
they didn't find uninformation to say that they're gonna take
this to trial doesn't mean that there was no wrong
doing done. So so I think people are like kind
of confusing the narrative of all of this because it's
(10:59):
been this thing for so long. Fellas that I just
think that you gotta look at the factual information. If
there are settlements taking place, that means that the people
who are settling do not want this to continent. And
I heard you say this, TDJ. They do not want
this to continue to drag out. They do not want
any any type of any more information or anything connected
(11:21):
to them hitting the media that could be damning information
to them, their brand, or anybody else. Or maybe they
don't want to be identified in the public. Yeah, but
regardless of what it is you're you're not going to
settle a situation unless there's a situation to be settled.
(11:42):
You know, means I don't I don't agree with that
at all. I don't agree with it at all. Okay,
give me give me an example. Who settles, who settles?
Who settles with nothing to settle on? Just came out
and said, listen, uh, we were not aware of any
wrongdoing on the behalf of DeShawn Wak, but we are
going to settle with these cases because they are that
(12:07):
they stay firm against misconduct and sexual allegations against women.
That is the example they're they're basically saying, they're they're
basically saying that they're basically that is what That's what
the owner is saying. I mean, I don't think that
that that means that it makes it true or makes
(12:28):
it factual information to me. You asked me to you
asked me to give you an example. All we can
do is go off being reported to us. Yeah. I
get that, But so you can't say it's not an
example example. It's not a valid example, and it's not
a valid just because the reason why I don't find
(12:50):
it to be a valid example is because when you're
talking about settling allegations, there was already information that has
surfaced that that the Houston, Texas were of his practices
in terms of dealing with multiples of massage therapists. So
there was knowledge there of what was taking place. They
(13:10):
can deny any culpability, they can deny any knowledge. They
can do those things because you're protecting the brand of
of your business. That doesn't mean that makes that the
truth or makes it factual information. That just makes it
a statement that they You asked me to give you
an example. Yeah, but all I can do is go
(13:31):
off of what they are putting out that you're giving
me an example of what's being reported. I accept that,
Like I understand that you gave me an example of
what they put out there. But what I'm saying, what
I do I have to report a valid example. I
don't find out to be Well, we're not gonna find
out because there was a settlement. That's that's the point.
(13:52):
We're not gonna find out what what was that? What
was there? They settled it. There's a lot of settlement
has been going on for a long all done. Man,
Yes there has, Yes, there has, And listen, I'm not
saying you know what's crazy, Tonish think it's right. The league,
they're not even the decider of the punishment. It's the
(14:15):
neutral arbitrator. And so will she give a judgment that
the league doesn't like or Watson's representatives? How is all
this gonna play out? When when eventually it comes out,
there's been so many Oh, he's gonna get a big
(14:35):
he's gonna get a year at least. Oh he may
get six to ten games whatever. Either way, the Texans
they have to get out in front. Is because Deshaun
Watson was an employee of the National Football League, specifically
the Texans. They just want the headache to go away,
and so they settle with the thirty which which I
(14:56):
don't know where the other two come from. They settled
with him. We want the headache to be gone. Here's
your money, this is what you guys want. A settlement
is an acknowledgement. It's an acknowledgement something happened. That's something happened.
A settlement for nothing, No, not necessarily. Some people just
(15:16):
settled because they don't want the headache, and that's what
the Texas did they don't want the headache, they say.
That's what they say. There's something, there have to be
something there. I forget the name of something. I forget
the name of the sports and legal attorney that we
had on the show a few months ago when we're
talking about Deshaun Wasson and he came up in the
(15:38):
state of Texas. Civil cases are allowed to be uh
continue for up to ten years in the state of Texas.
So this thirty or twenty four, whatever that number is,
I would not be surprised if it increases, because they
two years again. If you're just haven't if you're what
(16:01):
you guys are saying is if you set a press
where I come forward and say that there was wrong
doing done to me by one of your employees, that
they're just going to keep settling and keep settling and
keep settling and keep settling. Work that way, you're not
going to keep You're not gonna keep putting money out there.
So what anybody that comes a thousand people, two thousand
(16:21):
people on set come and say that Deshaun Watson did
something for them. I need my settlement and the texts
are just going to hand out a settlement. What what
the Houston stork that way, you have a point to
a certain degress to Houston Texans are not gonna put
themselves in a situation where they have to go and
to court and to defend themselves. When they settled and
they come out and say we had no we had
(16:43):
no knowledge of what Deshaun Watson was doing. They have
to keep settling. And at this point they're not going
to go to court and be like and and retract
their statement and say, you know what, we was wrong.
We knew about it. When they're coming out and saying
we had no knowledge of Yeah, but there has to
be at action to the organization with the Shaun Watson
is because they were the ones that was booking the
(17:06):
hotel room for him to get That's why they settled
because some what they were involved in it, they feel
like they had Okay, now we're getting somewhere there is culpability.
That's why they're settling, right because in essence they feel
like they were complicit by setting this up. They participated
(17:30):
in it. And so when you say anybody can just say,
oh they did know that if the Houston Texas had
nothing to do with it, no you can't do that.
But because they were setting some of these things up,
they were initiating it, they were helping Deshaun Watson out.
They feel like they played a part in this to
a certain degree. We're gonna wash our hands and this,
(17:50):
this has nothing to do with us anymore. We're gonna
settle because yes, we did this, this and this all right. Well,
I mean the cool thing about it, I mean not
cool thing about it, because there's nothing cool about this.
But it will continue to I mean, it will either
continue to die down and eventually go away, or it
(18:11):
will continue to be discussed. One thing for sure, we
will hear about what Deshaun Watson's future holds in terms
of what his punishment will be. Uh. Coming up next,
we're gonna talk a little bit about Mike McCarthy and
Hollywood Brown. Hollywood Brown fired back on critics of Lamar
Jackson even though he's no longer in Baltimore. You want
(18:33):
to hear our discussion points on that and more. Uh,
sorry for the stumbling on on the first part of
the show. But you know, as you can see t
J and and Plexico. Um, we're a three match show.
So the show goes on I had a couple of
technical issues. Uh was here for for a great cause.
I'm in Pittsburg right now. Short you guys the name
play for the New York Giants, played for the Carolina Panthers,
(18:56):
and also uh with me you know or me with
him and stage so at a great time last night
for a great benefit. Uh. We're gonna take a quick break.
But on the other side of this break again, we're
gonna talk Hollywood Brown and Lamar Jackson. You're listening to
up on game. This is Fox Sports Radio. Before we
get into this Hollywood Brown tweet, let's take a moment
(19:18):
and talk about the sixth uh blade razor that comes
from the Dollar Shaved Club. You know, you get that
noticeably smooth shave because it's got that six stainless steel
blades for swift air removal and a lubricating strip that
keeps things smooth. Dollar Shade Club razors are sold at
Dollar Shaved Club dot com or and stores Fellas. Speaking
(19:42):
of shaves, Uh, our boy, you know he's he's he's
filling a certain type of way, Hollywood Brown. That is
about the way things have been handled or seemingly have
been handled, as it applies to lamar accent. Uh, Ryan,
can you give us some context on it? Can we
(20:04):
get the read of the tweet? And then I'd love
to hear with t J and and Plex has to
say about it for sure. So a couple of days ago,
Bernard Pollard made a comment on on Twitter as a
former raven safety and he mentioned that he saw Lamar
Jackson as a top ten talent at quarterback, but not
necessarily a top ten quarterback. Lamar himself saw that and
they had quite the exchange on Twitter. They went back
(20:26):
and forth for a while, uh, debating, you know, Lamar's abilities,
his ability to lead and and his role in the
Ravens offense and how that caters to him as a quarterback.
Hollywood Brown eventually chimed in and he said, the narrative
they're trying to create on my dog is ridiculous. He
can run the show in any type of offense. He
just so happens to be in the one he's in
and he's doing it at top level. Every wide receiver
(20:48):
whoever played with him knows that. With the goat emoji
at the end, all right, understand, uh, you know why
Hollywood Brown is now coming out to support his quarterback
when he asked to be traded, he has to be
(21:11):
traded because he was unhappy with this role in the
office in Baltimore. But now he is coming out and
supporting Lamar and basically saying that, uh, every wide receiver
would love to play with Lamar Jackson. Well, why the
hell did you leave? Then that's what I don't understand
about it. And then on top of that, you catch
(21:35):
ninety one balls last year, go for over a thousand yards,
and the offense that led the league in Russian. As
t J and myself know. As TJ and myself know,
the running game is the best friend to a wide receiver.
If you can catch ninety one footballs and on the
(21:56):
offense that leads the league in Russian, I'm not going anywhere.
And now you're saying, now you want to come out
of support Lamar Jackson and say that he is a
top ten quarterback in this league, which I believe that
he is, but you don't want to play alongside of him.
That's what I don't understand. Listen. I love the fact
that he came he came out and had some support
(22:16):
for his guy and saying that basically they're trying to
create uh incorrect narative around my quarterback. But now you
can't jump back on the bandwagon and want to be
his right hand man when you don't no longer want
to play with him. That's what I don't like. Yeah,
me and me and plex is pretty much locking step
(22:38):
with this. It was he he wants to still support Lamar,
but he didn't want to support him by playing with him.
And when you plexing, when you lead the league in
Russian and you have the amount of targets, forget the catches,
the amount of targets that Hollywood Brown received, that he's
(23:00):
gonna get less targets in Arizona this year. That's a fact.
Luckily for him, the hobbit will be suspended the first
six games. But it's everybody would love to play with Lamar,
but I don't. Oh, I didn't. I didn't leave because
of Lamar. I left because of the offense. You had
(23:23):
over a hundred and thirty targets last year, and so
Lamar Jackson can play. You know Bernard Pollard went when
he put that out there about Lamar, He's a top
ten talent, not a top ten quarterback. If Lamar, who's
(23:43):
one of the most games of any quarterback in the
history of the league. Before Oh, Lamar Jackson, I didn't
even know that. Lamar Jackson unanimous m v P Lamar Jackson.
So Lamar's top ten quarterback. This is the problem. It's
people want to move the goal post when oh, well
(24:04):
he just he just does this. He can't do that,
and that's all that matters is he wins. Remember when
they lost the Tennessee in the playoffs, it was man
Lamar Jackson trash. He's good, uh regular, But when he
gets to the playoffs, the way he plays that, that
doesn't you can't play that win the playoffs. Okay, he
(24:27):
wins the playoff game, he gets hurt last year. If
he doesn't get hurt, the Ravens are in the playoffs,
Lamar Jackson can play now. The offense suits him, yes,
for sure, his running abilities and things. But the Baltimore
Ravens have always before Lamar Jackson. They've always been a
run first team. They've always been a run first team
(24:48):
played defense since with Brian Billy. They were that way
with hardball. They're the same way. We're gonna run the ball,
we're gonna play defense. That's a culture in Baltimore. Has
nothing to do with the coaches and players. They want
to run a all, they want to play defense. It's
been that way at least since I've been watching football. Hollywood.
Stay with Lamar and then we'll take what you say. Uh, well,
(25:11):
we'll give you a little more credible left. I mean
that says at all, Yeah, you take a little more serious.
Of course he would have come out, he would have
to support Lamar. I'm in the same sentence. Oh, the
system is just not for me. I'll say this. I'll
(25:32):
say this, Bernard. Bernard was was replying to a statement
that that Ryan Clark had made that initially was the
start of it. There's always gonna be critiques and criticisms
of of players that are high end topping players, but
results don't lie. They don't they don't lie. And we
(25:56):
could say Deshaun Watson is a better quarterback than Lamar Jackson,
but you know what, Lamar Lamar Jackson has a league
MVP as a quarterback. Like, at some point, people gotta
stop doing things where sensibility isn't isn't connected to the
some of all means of what your conclusions are going
to be. Meaning if this man has played well enough
(26:19):
to be named the best player, the most valuable player
in the entire league, then you can't say somebody who
hasn't done that it's better than him. So that that
eliminates most of the dudes on that top ten lists
that came out, That that eliminates car or or or
Stafford or or some of these other guys, that it
(26:41):
eliminates them because you know what, they've never been good
enough to do that. So to me, yes, you can.
You can criticize some of the things that Lamar Jackson
could do better as a passer, but you know what,
you could do that with a lot of other quarterbacks,
you know, for for what it's worth. Josh Allen I
think is too the list Josh Allen was was on
(27:03):
the road to being talked about as a disappointment as
as a draft pick. Before Oh he has this amazing
offseason where he worked with his mechanics and worked with
some people. They helped him, they trained him, and now
he's an elite quarterback. So things can change. Lamar Jackson
is not old. He's not old, So to me, I
(27:26):
think where Lamar Jackson certainly is a top ten quarterback
to say he's only a top ten talent and not
a top ten quarterback. To me, that that's not that's
not a sensible statement because if he's a top ten
talent and and he's a top ten talent, that means
that's a larger pool to draw from. And saying he's
(27:47):
a top ten guy, how's he a top ten talent
but not a top ten quarterback? So you're saying I
don't even know what that means, basically saying he's a
hell of a football player. Lamar Jackson is in hell
of a football player. He's just not a good quarterback.
And I just don't understand that narrative, Like he plays
(28:08):
the quarterback position. When he came into the league, it was,
oh man, he's not gonna be able to play quarterback.
He's not good enough. And when he did that and
wins the m v P, it's like, Okay, he's good.
But he says but no, there's just no butts to it.
I mean, we're not just gonna defend a guy if
(28:28):
he can't play, Lamar can play. The way they played
football in Baltimore is to run the ball. That's what
they want to do. Baltimore wants to run the ball.
It's that simple. And if that's not gonna change, that's
what they believe is the key to success, and they've
had a ton of it. They're not gonna They're not
(28:49):
gonna change that. We got ilo on trending. Hello, what
we got, baby? We got a big story fellas out
of Major League Baseball. The Athletic has just report have
been Washington Nationals twenty three year old All star outfielder
Juan Soto has rejected a fifteen year, four hundred forty
(29:10):
million dollar contract offer, and that the Nationals now planned
to entertain trade offers for Soto ahead of the August
second trade deadline. So apparently not a big fan of
Ben's Chili Bowl in d C. Anyway, the four hundred
forty million dollar offer would have been the large. Yeah,
it would have been the largest total contract in baseball history,
(29:32):
eclipsing the four hundred Sometimes I wonder what kind of
advice these dudes is getting from their representation. Man, I wonder,
I really do. Here's here's the thing. His agent is
Scott Boris. If he waits a couple of years, he
could be in line for a five hundred million dollar
contract extension. So that's maybe the thought behind that. But still,
(29:55):
anytime somebody throws four hundred and forty million dollars in
front view under any circumstances, You're right. It's very, very
difficult to turn down anything when four hundred forty million
dollars is available. So that would have eclipsed had he
signed the largest total contract in baseball history. The current
(30:17):
high of four hundred twenty six million dollar total contract
that Mike Trout signed with the Angels in also going
on right now, Round three of the British Open, and
Victor Hovelin straight out of Norway, has the lead at
fourteen under par overall thanks to four Bernie's in a
row during the course of the first seven holes. He
(30:39):
has two shots ahead of Roy McElroy and Cameron Smith,
who were at twelve under par overall. Dustin Johnson is
four back at ten under par overall and up on.
Game continues after a word from Makos are out there scratches, dense,
unexpected natural events. With Mako and their magic, your car
is no longer tragic because when life throws you out,
(31:02):

(31:47):
the world of college football, and we gotta talk about
the Cowboys again the cat We ain't talked about the
Cowboys in a wild So we're gon. We're gonna a
lot of rumors out there. We don't see what's going
on the ship. We gotta talk about these Dallas Cowboys,
Dallas Cowboys. We'll be back then up on game. Hey,

gonna pick up on this college football in the Big
Twelve saying hey, guys, we open for business. What what
(32:51):
do you make of the SEC? They add in Oklahoma Texas.
Now the Big Ten say, Okay, we're gonna go get
U C l A and the Powerhouse Shoe sc Trojans.
Now the Big twelve is saying we're open for business.
Will the Pat twelve dissolve? Will they stay putting at
other teams? Well, what's your take on the Big twelve
(33:13):
commissioner saying we're open? We want basically we want to
be a super conference like the Big Ten and the SEC.
How they're becoming. Well, basically what they're saying is the
Big twelve commissioner is uh, that conference is dying. Playing
a simple you get Oklahoma and Texas the leader to
(33:34):
go to the SE to the SEC. Those are two
of the biggest college football print programs in the country.
Arguably a top five, both of them. So if you
don't have the Red River rivalry anymore of Texas in Oklahoma,
that is what the Big twelve is all about. And
when we get to talking basketball, we know that's Kansas.
(33:55):
I think they've won what eighteen and nineteen consecutive Big
ten titles in basket, Big twelve and basketball. But they're
open for business. But who wants to go to the
Big twelve? So who with without Texas and Oklahoma, who
is going to be the best football college program in
the Big twelve? Oklahoma State? Uh. He's basically saying, look,
(34:21):
we need help. We are open for business. Anybody that
wants to help revive the Big twelve conference, we need you.
We want you because it's looking like in the next
you know, five or ten years, whatever that may be.
Without know Texas in Oklahoma and your conference, you basically
(34:42):
don't have a conference when it comes to big playing,
big time major college football. Who wants to go to
the Big twelve and compete if they're not playing against
Texas in Oklahoma or have the opportunity to go Texas
Oklahoma now now because they're going to the SEC. You
know that money is going to come from the TV money,
you know what I mean. And that's why the Big
(35:03):
Ten and the SEC is able to have their pick
of teams that they want to bring into those conferences. Now,
there's really only one real, big, major, powerhouse football team
out there right now that that really brings the cash
A brings, brings that that strong presence, and that's Notre Dame.
(35:25):
And we all know, I mean, I think we all
know that's been in the making for many, many, many
many moons for them to go into the Big Ten.
That ain't gonna happen. Now, Why would they go to
the Big Ten when they can stay independent and make
all the money they're making. It makes no sense for them.
(35:45):
It will it will make sense if they find themselves
in a situation where the playoffs is basically between SEC
and Big Ten teams. That's what's gonna happen. What's gonna
happen is there's gonna end up being a college playoff
of the of the top top top teams out of
(36:06):
the SEC and out of the Big Ten, and everybody
else is going to be locked out, and that will
include an independent team, even if it's Notre Dame. Now,
I could be wrong, and I could be talking out
of you know, the other side. But I think, and
I believe, based off of the type of money TV
deals that they're gonna be able to do and that
(36:27):
they're already doing with the Big ten and the SEC,
that those teams building up to fifteen twenty teams and
those conferences will render all the other teams obsolete, all
the other all the other conferences obsolete. They're going to
have to actually build the Big twelve or build the
A C C and build those other conferences to have
(36:51):
a separate playoff, so to speak. And and and I
don't know that that's something that Notre Dame would want,
So they would have to choose. Are they gonna choose
that CC, They're gonna choose the bag. The biggest thing
for me over the last maybe twenty years is that
Notre Dame pix there on schedule and that has been
(37:11):
the number one thing that has handered them to getting
into the top four or two and to compete the
winner to win the national championship. They play Ohio State
first game of the season, and they play USC Those
are the two biggest games. You can't sit here and
and try to uh esplain to everybody that we want
(37:33):
the top programs of the country. You're playing Navy, un
L V. Marshall. Those are not respected wins when it
comes down to being a top till college and that,
and that's why you're never gonna see him in the
Big Tin or any other That's why you're why would
they why why wouldn't know their dame when they can
(37:57):
play those teams go to the Big ten in every week.
You gotta be a choice. They're not going to have
a choice that they want to play for a national title.
LaVar loses one game. Listen, if Notre Dame loses one
game a year, they're in the college playoffs every single year.
It's not going their strength that we use the Martional
(38:19):
on UNLV strength doesn't matter there. Notre Dame, they lose
one game during every single year, they're gonna get blocked out. No,
it's gonna exist within It's gonna exist within the conference
that you play in. That's what I think, and I
think that's where it's going. But you know you gotta
t J get us on out of here. Well coming
(38:40):
in on the second hour up on game, we'll be
back
