Take the heat like Lebron.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
And now here's Cuff's the legend.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
It's go time, all right? All right, yep, that is
the intro.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
When you hear that on the other side of it,
well it's time to say, hey, how are you feeling, Cuffs?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Is it? Is it a great day to be legendary?
Is it always a great day to be legendary? How
you feeling?

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Broh man, I'm feeling good. Fellas TJ. How you doing? Man?
Right here? But look, yeah, what up? I want to say,
boy boy? Were we wrong about the Eastern Conferences?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Man? Man?

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Boy?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Who is wrong about to say? When you speak for yourself,
you were wrong?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Like I was?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Who'd I say what I say? What I say?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
No way you thought the Knicks were beating the Celtics.
No way.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I said the Knicks, we're going to beat the Celtics.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
I said, were going to be somebody said to be
the Celtics. Somebody pulled that up before the series. Please,
I need proof.

Speaker 6 (02:54):
I said the Knicks we're going to beat the Celtics.
I did, I did? I said, I said, stick of
for working them after they had that demoralizing loss.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
What was that Game three? Yeah? I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
What.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Who you like Indiana, New York, LeVar.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
That's a great question.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
I was really high on Indiana, and and really like
with the way Haliburton is.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Playing, and and and.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
And just their team and you know, Siakam and those guys,
they are bawling and they're doing really well.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
But I gotta say I have been one over. I
have been one over with with Anobi.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
I don't know why I always lose faith and Carl
Anthony Towns in the playoffs. I mean, y'all could agree
with me or disagree with me on that, but I
just feel like he gets too caught up and playing
on the outside.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Different, playing different these playoffs.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
He's different, He's different, and now well, the way that
he's playing right now, and obviously you take bridges and
then bruntsing. I just you know, I think they're just
as loaded. If I'm being honest with Kat playing the
way he's playing, with the rest of the guys in
Bronson being at his level, I think they're playing just

(04:19):
as well with just as many as Okasee if you
look at the number of minutes that they're playing. The
one thing that I looked at Okasee and said, the
reason why they are going to be a problem if
they make it out of the series with Denver is
that their rotation is so good that their guys aren't
breaking forty minutes in the game, so you're keeping them fresh,

(04:41):
You're keeping a very very energetic group going. I think
I think it's going to be the Knicks and if
OKC makes it out of this series with Denver, which
I don't know because I think the experience could be
the difference in that game in a game seven, But
I do believe if if if OKC makes it out

(05:02):
of that series, they're too much for Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
They're the team that's too much for Minnesota.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Man, I ain't nobody too much for Minnesota at Cuffs,
what what's.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Gonnaba Indiana, Indiana and Oka. See if Okac makes it
out of this game.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
With the NBA like that cuffs Theydiana with the NBA
like they were Indiana and Oka see in the finals,
they would hate that.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Man. I, like I said, I thought this was gonna
be a two horse race all year. We saw the
Calves implode. But I will say what sticks What sticks
out for me, What jumps out for me about the
Indiana Pacers is their pace. They average one hundred and
seventeen points per game against the Calves. Both of those
teams were high octange teams. I think the one advantage

(05:46):
the Pacers will have over the Knicks in this series.
The Knicks are kind of worn down because they don't
have a lot of depth. They don't play, but Tims
only plays like seven guys. We've seen Deuce may Brod
get minutes. He put pressures of two on them. He
put him on ice. He's I'm not getting a lot
of minutes. So I think we got to watch out
for that pace of Indiana. They like to push the
ball and pass. First, point guards are back Tyrey Tallis Burton.

(06:08):
We're saying what he's doing in this series, pure point
guard I'm kind of leaning towards the pacer because they
can go keen on eleven deeps. And I feel like
the X factor for the Knicks will be o Ganaoby
because if you look at him in this series against
the Celtics last night, he had twenty three, nine and two.
The game before he only had six. The game before that,

(06:29):
he had twenty. The game before that, he had two
and five, two points, five points. He's been up and down.
Og has been up and down this whole playoffs. They're
gonna need him to provide that that offensive spark at
least ten to fifteen points. He can't have these stinkers
where he's having two points, five point six points. We
already see what jos Hard is going to do. Josh

(06:49):
Harr had a triple double last night. He's he is
the ultimate blue guy in the NBA. To meet Josh Hard,
love him. Tayln Brunt is gonna bring it, as my
dad would call him, Call Anthony Townsend.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
He's gonna shuffle Manhattan, shuffle.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
My dad said the same thing you got said. He said,
called Anthony town He needs to get into paint because
he's always gonna have the advantage. But called Anthony Towns
over the years.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
You know too.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Yeah, he's falling in love with being that Chris Bosh
picking Pop big man and it worked. It's effective, It's
gotten where he had know. He's made a lot of
money in the league. He's a star player. But I
don't know if that's gonna fly against Indiana and Miles
Turner as well. Let's keep it oue on Miles Turner
this series, because when he plays well, the Pacers wins.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Man.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
The Pacers play way too fast, they're too athletic, they're
young on the perimeter. They got so many guys to guard.
It's what Cuff said, they are going to wear the
knicks out. You're gonna play Miles McBride and Mitchell Robinson
them the only two guys really get any burn off
the bench for the next.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
You got and another guy too, I want, I want
everybody to pay attention to this series is Andrew Neimhard
out of Gonzaga. He's an underrated combo guard for the Pacers,
but he can assist, he can facilitate, he can score.
He has games where he's capable exploding. He's capable of
exploding for fifteen to twenty so I would say watch

(08:22):
out for them hard as well. But I think me
going back to the old Robbert, You're getting a lot
of nostalgia with this series. I remember the nineties matchups.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Anthony Davis.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Yeah, dude, look back the last time these teams played
each other in the conference finals. It was two thousand
and you had you had, you had Larry Johnson out there,
you had to free Well Patrick, Gooin, you even had
to start all So it's gonna be a lot of
nostalgia this series. But I think I don't know. I
want to lean towards the Pacers. The Pacers, if they
can split that first two in New York, I think

(08:54):
they can win this series at six.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
I'm with you. I like the Pacers as well.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
But today to Night All the Marbles, Game seven, they
say Aaron Gordon may not play because he strained his
hamstring late in Game six.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Will s G. A A Joker dominate this game?

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Where do you believe it will be the role players
that are key to either Denver Oklahoma City pulling it out.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
I had this series going seven t J from the start,
just from the star power s G. A. Jokic, The
MVP conversation all year. I will say the guy for
OKC is Jalen Williams. Man, Jalen Wims has a step
up and help SGA because Jokic he's gonna be He's
gonna be like the smaller.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
One or the bigger one, the smaller one.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
The smaller Jalen j A l e n Yeah, but
e Jalen Williams, he's been sporadic. He's been sporadic. I
mean he's he's taking over that that the reigns of
being the second guy, the second option for ok see.
But he's been inconsistent, So it's gonna be up to
Jalen Wims. I feel like che Homer has been pretty
pretty solid this series. Artenstein's being solid on the glass. Yeah,

(10:13):
they get They've be getting a lot of contributions from
their bench. But it's gonna I see okay Se winning
this game. I think Denver and Yolkis are running out
of gas because of the physicality. Yeah, the physicality. The
rests are letting the big guys for ok see, Homerm
and Harnstein, they're letting them bang with Joki that you
can see. It's starting to affect him lat in games.
So I hate to see my guy. I hate to

(10:35):
see Yokis go out because I've become even more of
a fan of Jokis this playoff series, just to see
how he can just carry this team. I mean he's playing,
he's essentially playing point center like he's snacking rebounds and
taking it down the court, doing doing everything. So I
have a newfound respect for Yokis. But I think it's
Oklahoma City's year and it looks like we're probably gonna

(10:56):
get Oklahoma City and Indiana. So that is kind of
a say a lack love the NBA Finals because we
all wanted to see Boston. But I guess we gotta
send those Boston Celtic t shirts to pack of sand.
We gotta send the championship shirts and ads overseas because
we're not going to see the Celtics and we haven't
seen it back to back champion in seven years.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Now, by the way, gosh, hey, you bring Boston up.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
And obviously we haven't spoken since the Jason Tatum achilles surgery.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Man, when you look at.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
It, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold
on hold that hold that we're gonna we're gonna talk
Jason Tatum. We're gonna talk Achilles. We're gonna talk more basketball.
We're gonna talk playoffs, but let's put that on ice
because we're gonna take a quick break. And after the break. Well,
there's your teas. TJ just teased it.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
T you.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
Before we went to the break, we heard TJ huschman
Zada hit my man cuffs the legend from some dude
show that comes on up on Game. Part of up
on game crew ask the question about what TJ. What'd
you set it up as?

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Go ahead?

Speaker 3 (12:51):
You got you see the unfortunate injury to Jason Tatle.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
And then you start looking at obviously he idolized Kobe Bryant.
Fourth quarter, three minutes and eight seconds left, same quarter,
same amount of time on the clock when Kobe torn
his achilles, Jason Tatum terars his. I felt like when

(13:20):
that happened, it kind of deflated the Celtics. They probably
were going to lose the series anyway, but you just
felt like with Jason Tatum on that court, they always
had a chance.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
One. What do you make of that? And what are
the selkis going to look like next season?

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Man, it's so many angles, CJ. Look in the last
just this season alone, the acl achilles injuries we've had,
the Jontay Murray went down with a torn right achilles,
Kyrie Irvin torn ATL, Damian Lillard torn ACL, Jason Tatum achilles,
Grant Williams torn eight, the Anthony Melton torn ACL, Moe

(14:03):
Wildner for the magic torn ACL. We've seen that just
happen this season with guys, and people are automatically going
to question like the amount of games played the high
mallagies guys are putting on their body. A lot of
these guys have been playing. I mean, you guys know
from being around the AA you circuit, just like guy, dude,
you've seen kids play three or four games, sometimes five

(14:25):
or six games each weekend. And they're doing, yeah, two
or three games in one day. And they've been doing
this since they were eight, nine, ten, eleven years old,
and I feel like it is it's starting to take
a toll on these guys. The Kobe Bryant injury, the
time of the injury and Tatum's injury, it was spooky.

(14:48):
TJ I seen that. I was like, it's a crazy
omen wild right. So I hate to see my duke
brother go down because he's looking at an eighth to
nine months recovery time. It's a the strophic injury. I
will I do think he will bounce back. We've see
KD do it, and KD was much older, and I
know everybody's body is different, but Tatum is only twenty seven.

(15:09):
I want to say, he's only twenty seven years old.
I know he feels real bad because they feel like
they had a chance to rally back in that series.
But now, if you're Tatum, do you even come back
and play next year because you're looking at January February
as your return and you can't just hit the ground
running when everybody else is already in basketball shaped mid season.
So I would say the Celtics have to look in

(15:32):
the mirror. Brad Stevens. He's been a brilliant GM since
he stepped up to the front office. I think they're
gonna have to package Porzingis and Drew Holliday because they're
the real assets they have. Even though Porzingis he looked
like he looked he looked like like he was cooked.

(15:53):
I mean, they're speculating all type of illnesses about him
because he could He said he was gassed after playing
five minutes, and they have some mysterious illness going on
with Brezinga. So I think he's going to get moved.
Drew Holly is probably gonna get moved. Jalen Brown. I
got to give Jayleen Brown his flowers. He did step
up and show everybody he is the Finals MVP without

(16:15):
Jason Tatum. He stepped up these last couple of games
without JT. But the Celtics have real holes. They have
to get more athletic on the wing. I feel like
they got exposed. Outside of Brown and Tatum, they don't
have a lot of athleticism on that wing. And up
front our Horford is playing the best he can. He's
moving the pubbies even though he's like thirty seven thirty
eight now. But they have to get a new big man.

(16:37):
I feel like, because Horford is your backup center like Porzingis,
he's proving to be unreliable. You know, the last I
would say, even last playoff seam was injury riddles. So
the Celtics, I will say, Celtics fans, you're not looking
at a full rebuild. You're just looking to retool, not
a rebuild, but are looking to retool this off season.
And Kevin Durant could be in play.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Jab know, put your GM hat on. You say, package
Porzingis and Drew Holliday.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
For who, I say, Kevin Durant, Phoenix might take that package.
You get you get Porzingis, you get, you get Drew
Holliday probably throwing some draft picks. I probably the Celtics
need some more scoring. They need they need some more
firepower like that. It was just Jalen Brown, Derek Wright,
and Peyton Pritchett.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
The whole playoffs, it felt like, let me ask you this, Cuffs,
what do you think about the idea of I saw
the the Bronni Lebron to Dallas and trade for the
number one overall pick.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Because all of the conversations.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
Surrounding this whole setup with why Dallas got the number
one overall pick.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
I know it's been a lot of speculation about what
Dallas is going to do with that pick. The main
thing I'm hearing is the Jannis. You know, Joanna's coming
to Dallas possibly, But I don't think Dallas. I don't
think the front office is going to trade that pick.
I really don't because Cooper Flagg is going to really
move the needle in Dallas. Merchandise sales, Jersey sales, his

(18:15):
his stylid play. He plays both ends. He's relentless, and
he gets to come into a situation with Anthony Davis,
Klay Thompson, some other vets. Kyrie will be back from
injury soon and he doesn't have to be like a
generational like go to player the first year. The second
year he gets he gets a chance to really develop

(18:35):
and Jason Kidd is a great coach for that Jay
Jared Dudley on the staff. They got some good coaches
on that staff to really help mentor Cooper flag. But
I don't know. I actually told Lebron the other day,
I said, you might you might need to consider going
to Dallas and taking the pay cut because look at
what look what Dallas has now. Look with Dallas's building now,
like Nico Harrison, I said it before. The joke was

(18:59):
on Nico at first, but it looks like he's about
to come back from a three to one league. I
really do, I really think Nico Harrison is gonna put
something together suite in Dallas.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Hey, what do you make of the conspiracy theorists? Ain't
no way to Dallas Mavericks one point eight chance to
win the lottery, and they win it, they gonna get
the number. What do you make of so many people saying, man,
it was rig man, there's no way Dallas Mavers should

(19:30):
have received a number one pick.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
Well, I don't lie. What kind of fishy to see
them get it? After the Nico Harrison situation with Luca
and trading away Luca. It is tricky, But I think
the message the resounding message they're sending in the NBA.
The NBA is sending to these teams is you can't
just tank and expect to get the first pick. But
you can't just cake walk through the season and rest

(19:53):
all your guys like you've seen Utah do it. We've
seen the Wizards do it. We've seen the Charlotte Hornets
do it this year when they shut down LaMelo Ball,
and they thought they were going to get rewarded with this,
with this Cooper flag. Willie Wonker knows Willy Wonker ticket,
and it didn't work out for those teams. So I
think Cooper flag really landed in a great spot. I
don't I don't think it was rigged by any means.

(20:14):
I don't think the ernest in Young like the firm.
I don't think they're gonna jeopardize their credibility over some
over a lottery draft pick. But I think Cooper Cooper
Cooper is the real winner in this situation. Cooper Flagg
is definitely the real winner. He's going to get going
to a perfect basketball fit out the gate.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
Think think about what that Cooper flag more than likely
gonna be the first pick. Uh, He'll be with the
Dallas Mavericks. If you look at the Western Conference, goodness gracious,
it's like they stacked. If you're Yiannis, if you're KD, man,

(20:51):
i gotta get to the East. If I'm KD, and
if I'm Jannis, i gotta stay in the East. That's
my easiest path to the NBA Finals.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
Would you agree with that?

Speaker 4 (21:01):
I definitely agree with that. That's why a lot of
people are pushing for Lebron to consider Cleveland once again.
It'll be a great ending. I think it'd be a
great inding. But man, Yannis. I'm also hearing Toronto's in
the mix for Yannis, So don't sleep on Toronto's, Like,
don't sleep on the Raptors. They got a nice young

(21:21):
cord and man, you would quickly Brandon and they got
a nice young nucleus over there, So I wouldn't sleep
on the Raptors. But I've also heard the Spurs imagine
win Ben Yamba and Yannis the front court, the defensive,
he had, the versatility, the switching, and man, it'll be insane.

(21:43):
You got the fawn.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Castle, they give up the number two pick and what
else they had?

Speaker 4 (21:48):
The they had the number The Spurs had the second
pick and the fourteenth pick in this draft, so they
have they have a nice package they can put together
to throw eights Milwaukee. So if I was a Spurs
I would definitely be trying to do that because the
Spurs they have a nice nucleus already. They got Stafon Castle,
Devin Basel, they have a nice young team and as
you saw this past season, if they wouldn't have tanked

(22:11):
towards the end of the year once once Victor win
Miyama got injured, they could have possibly made the playoffs
this year. So I think I think the Spurs are closed,
so you got to keep an eye out on them
in the Yannis Sweet Stakes. But I do I do
think it's gonna be some some some fluid movement this offseason.
You got a lot of guys and played it. Houston
Rocket's gonna be in play for Joannis. I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Man, who is this?

Speaker 6 (22:34):
Uh? This year's playoffs with the remaining teams, I mean,
obviously the Denver Nuggets are doing it with an interim
head coach, and they're right there at it. They're right
there in it for the Western Conference Finals one game away.
They've played their way into Game seven, Uh, you got
a team that's emerging, uh and the Timberwolves an emerging

(22:58):
star and uh it seen just though Anthony Edwards is
really like pushing the envelope to take that next step
in being a megastar in the league.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
You see what's going on with Oka.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
See is this the year of the maturation of Okac
and now that it becomes like what we saw in
Boston a team that now transitions into being a veteran
Latin team?

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (23:24):
Or is this the Is this the time for the Knicks?
They couldn't get it done in the Jordan era, Maybe
they get it done now. You know, the Pacers couldn't
get it done in the Jordan era. Maybe they get
it done now. What is the biggest storyline? Who does
this mean the most to at this point with the
teams remaining to win it all?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Who what's what's the heaviest weight for? You know what?

Speaker 6 (23:47):
What what does it represent to one of these teams
that are still remaining in the playoffs?

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Cuffs, I think the spotlight is really on Shake Gilders
Alexander right now because he should have won HEVP last year.
We've seen We've seen the gaudy numbers he's been putting
up this year. He averaged like thirty two or thirty three.
He's going to win the MVP. And I actually heard
some people saying on Twitter that they should give him
the award right before game seven, just just just to

(24:15):
see that energy, because that can you imagine they gave
him the MVP award before game seven when he's going
against Jokis and Yokis feel like he should have won it.
That would be theater, right. But I would say, I
would say the spotlight is really on SGA this year
that really get it done, because you don't want to
be the guy that averaged close to thirty five points
a game, putting up all these Michael jordanlight scoring numbers

(24:36):
and come up short again. You want to get to
the finals. You want to get it done. Because I
feel like the Denver Nuggets let them off the hooks
in Denver that game, that game five, at the Well
game six, and Denver they let them off the hook.
So I think I think Denver is gonna regret the
fact they let him off the hook. But the guy
that I'm looking at that nobody's talking about in the

(24:56):
Western Conference, I gotta give him his flowers right here.
Julius Randall, because I've criticized this game for years because
I always felt like he was a selfish basketball player.
A lot of other people agree like he always felt
like he was a black hole. But he is doing
a really good job this playoffs of really being a

(25:17):
reliable number two option of numbers, like a real sidekick
to Anthony Edwards. So salute to Julius Randall because his
motor is what Minnesota was missing. Carl Anthony Towns does
not play with that same motor, and I think it
worked out. It's one of the best win win trades
we've ever seen if you really look back, like the
Knicks got what they wanted, the timber Woods got what
they wanted, and we could see both of those teams

(25:39):
faith off in the finals. We haven't seen a win
win trade like this in a long time. So shout
out to Julius Randall because, like I said, he was
much maligned a lot of his career for being a
selfish player. He don't really pass the ball. He played
with tunnel vision. He is really bringing that tenacity for
the Timba Woolves, and I think that's what their team
was missing. And shout out. They didn't McDaniels too, because

(26:01):
he's doing a lot on both ends with Minnesota as well,
and nobody talking about these role players, but Jayda mcdiel's
Julius Randold. They are the two guys that's really helping
this Timberwolves team. I think it's gonna go six or
seven with Timberwolves in Oklahoma City. I really do.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
M hmm.

Speaker 6 (26:18):
Well, I'll say this, it is interesting to see both
teams doing doing what they're doing right now. I always again,
I felt like my knock on on Towns was Townsend Townsend,
Carl Anthony Towns Towns. I felt like he just he

(26:40):
doesn't play like you say, motor I say, I say,
and maybe I'm trying not that Like it comes across
the South, he comes across the sow and Randall comes
across as a more grittier type of player. And I
feel like having that type of compliment to Anthony Edwards,

(27:02):
who is kind of a very gritty player as well.
I think that that compliments Anthony Edwards and hypes him
more than having maybe the more laid back approach that
Carl Anthony Towns has.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
You see the vision now you see exactly what I'm saying.
And on the fifth side of that call Anthony Towns
when he when he runs a two man game with
Jalen Brunton, He's a good picking pop guy. So it
all works out of both team. That's why I said,
it's such a win win for both teams that trade.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
What you got you got anything else. TJ.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
Man, I'm just sitting here really thinking about how the
NBA is like, Wow, Minnesota, okac Indiana. Man, their fingers crossed,
that the Knicks can pull this out, man, just.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
For the ratings, right, just for the ratings. This if
the Knicks make the finals, the ratings are gonna be bunkers.
If the Knicks make it.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
They can do it. I believe they can do it.
Like I said that Pa is.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Gonna that Pace is gonna wear them out, man, because at.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
The bar le Bar, can we give a shout out
to the Lady the w NBA season started today. Can
we give a shout out to the w God shout
out to shout out to the New York Liberty. I
just seen them get their rings the ring ceremony. I
will say, I want to make a bold prediction right here.
Caitlyn Clark is going to win the m v P

(28:36):
this year.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
That's a bold one.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
She's gonna win the m v P this year, and
I'm gonna take it a step further. The Indiana Fever
they have a very very good chance to make the
finals in the WNB because they love it. They went
out and got the Tasha Howard. They had they have
a night. They got to Wanna Bonner. She's a veteran,
she's a she's a former champion. Look out for the

(29:00):
Indiana Fever. I think Kaitlyn Clark, he's seen the off season.
Everybody else is focused on other things. Kaitlyn Clark has
been in the lab. She's gonna give She gave us
a show in her rookie year. But I think her
assist total. She has more finishers and more even more
scores on her team. Now, her assist total is gonna
go up even more. We already know she can shoot
her ranges unlimited from when she come across half court.

(29:21):
I think it's gonna be the year for Kaitlin Clark
to really cement herself. Is not only one year wonder,
but she's gonna cumand herself is like, I am the
best player in the league now, she.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
For sure, So no way.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I know TJ. I know TJ said that he was
on the side of the w NBA.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
Team being able to beat a high school like Mountbirdy
and in high school.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
I don't remember what you said. You said that the
pro team would win.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
Two right against the w NBA players.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
A w n B A I guess a high school elite,
A high school elite like a Mount Verdy type deal.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Yeah, because Cooper Flag was at Mont verd So yeah, man,
verb the way they're stacked with Donalds fire, they would
be they would beat the women on this a physicality
and the height advantage in the size, but the skill,
the skill, we would still see the skill of the ladies.
The ladies have skill. And that's why I love the
w because it's pure skill. Athleticism really doesn't matter as much,

(30:25):
and it's pure buckets. That's why I love to say
so much.

Speaker 5 (30:28):
If they play with the women's ball, the women winning
the play with the women's ball, the women gonna beat them.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Man, it's that experience and at that high school level.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
Yeah, it's a physicality, but it ain't the type of
physicality that they would play with once they get to
college and the NBA. It's just it's a different it's
gonna be a different situation. Becuse you on the grassroots
circuit a lot. The NBA Combine, it's just, uh, I
believe they just finished. If I'm not mistaken or it's ongoing. Yeah,

(31:02):
who is somebody that has caught your eye? Like, wow,
he ain't going back to college, he better stay in
the draft.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
I would say the Cedric Coward, Deedrick Coward just transferred
from Washington State to Duke and the Duke fans. I'm
hearing Duke, I'm here in Duke Land because Duke fans
were really excited to get him in the transfer portal.
But Cedrick Coward, his his vertical was off the charge,
all his all his drills was off the charts at
the Combine. So I think Dedrick Coward has played itself

(31:34):
like in the scrimmages as well. At the Combine. Some
scouts that was there, like Cedric Coward was the name
I'm hearing the most. And the pediferd kids from Auburn.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Man, this dude is like crazy athlete.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
Yeah, Pediford from Auburn, the crafty lefty, he got a
little van xel to him a little little spikes, a
little rabble dabbler with his game. He was the leading
scorer and a lot of those scrimmages at the combine.
So I would say look out for Cedric Coward like he.
I don't think he's going to go back to Douke.
I think he's gonna keep his name in the draft,
keep his name in the hat. I would say look
out for him. And like I said, Peterford is electric man.

(32:09):
Like I think he had like twenty points in the
scrimmage the other days vertical. Yeah, he's a talented kid.
I know Bruce Pearl's gonna hate to see him leave
all Burn, but I think he's gonna be a first rounder.

Speaker 5 (32:20):
Hey, hey, explain, I just thought about this. Satan John's
not Saint John's Rutgers Rutgers list Ace Bailey at six ten,
he goes to the combine, he's six seven.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
Hey, yo, look, I saw that, right, So h Bailey?
Did you also see the comment where the reporter was
asking him about his shot selection and he said, yo,
I work on that shot, you don't I work on
those shots. I love the confidence from ighth Bailey. I
think we might see the sixers take him number three
if they don't trade their pick. But as Bailey, man,
he's one of the toughest shot makers I've seen at

(32:52):
that age. He's only like eighteen, nineteen years old. He's
he studied some of the great man those kids watch
a lot of film. He studied Kevin Durant, Devin Booker,
Paul George. So he BET's gonna be a tough, a tough, tough,
tough player at the next level. But you know, being
lined for years TJ about heights. I remember I was
a kid, right, I used to collect cards, like trading cards.

(33:14):
They used to You can go back and look at this.
They used to have Chalks Barkley listed at six' nine
even though he was six. Four they Had Chalks barkeley
listed on playing cards trading cards at six nine when
he first came through the. League so that's that's a
funny thing they.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
Do.
