All Right, welcome in the how or two. This is
up on game.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
T J.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Huschmanzadas, Lvar Arrington'll be bringing you some yeah, football news
sports topics for the next hour, So make sure you
buckle up and buckle in. That's some good topics. We're
gonna get to this Eagles Chiefs game and a matter
of moments and well we're gonna talk Caleb Williams as well.
Uh yeah, but you know, let's jump into a t J.

(01:22):
You know this this whole Eagles uh phenomenon that's taking place.
It's it's really been you know, kind of I guess
magnified by the way that they've been able to play
against the Chiefs. And the Chiefs, you know, they got
off to a slow start, you know, losing to the Chargers.

(01:43):
How are you looking at this rematch between the Eagles
and the Chiefs? It is this like a must win
of sorts for CAC I know that sounds kind of
crazy because they heat up when they need the heat up,
But I mean, what what does this mean for them?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
You know, they need to win.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Man, Listen the way the Chiefs looked in Week one,
it wasn't obviously it wasn't the best and that they
lose a game, but the Chiefs offensively, Man, they've been
on the slide for a couple of years. They've been
on the slide for a couple of years. Is the
defense has been so strong it's kind of held that

(02:23):
team together and they've been able to have a lot
of people have said that for a little bit of
time now, and so are we starting to see the beginning.
They don't have the beginning of the end. They don't
have that dynamic playmaker on offense that can change the
course of a game at any moment like they had
with Tyreek Hill. They thought they were getting that with

(02:47):
Xavier Worthy. Will never know because he went down. They
say he may play tomorrow, but we don't know. And
so they don't have a guy that scares you can
score from one play from any part of the field.
They don't have that. The Eagles, on the other hand,
they got a strong They strong on both sides of
the ball, offensively and defensively. They you know, the Eagles

(03:10):
are so good, right, they didn't even use aj Brown
in Game one.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
They threw him his first ball.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I believe it was a mini a minute and fifty
seconds left in the game.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Was his first target.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Right, He's one of the best players in the league, right,
and they didn't even use him. You know, you got
people saying, oh, they should trade him, they don't need him.
All right, go ahead and do it and watch what happens.
Go ahead and do it, and watch what happens. Because
now I'm just loading up on the run. I'm gonna
force you to throw the ball. But that's another story.
I just feel like the Chiefs they need Pat Mahomes

(03:52):
to do so much every play now, and I don't
know if he can do that every single when they're
passing the ball, they're throwing a ball. He has to
be perfect, and that's impossible as a player to be. Now,
if they can get Worthy back and he can show
the promise that he showed in the Super Bowl and

(04:13):
build on that, then everything that I'm saying don't matter.
If he can be just a little bit of a
version of what Tyreek Hill was. Tyreek kill dude. They
were scared to play man the man covers against the
Chiefs when Tyreek Hill was playing for the Chiefs. I
mean he changed the way coaches would game plan like
I had never seen before, and so they were able

(04:34):
to win without him. But they've been gradually getting worse offensively,
and now I believe it's as bad as it's been
right now. To me, their best weapon in the passing
game is Juju Juju. Smith Schuster is their best weapon
in the passing game. He's consistent, He's going to catch
the ball ninety percent of the time you throw it
to him. Ninety ninety eight percent of the time you

(04:55):
throw it to him, but is that enough to make
you e fishing and effective as an offensive unit and
get where the Chiefs want to go.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
It's interesting because you know, looking at where the Chiefs are,
it does feel like it's kind of a statement game.
It's a proven moment. I won't say it's a must
win game. I'll say it's a prove it game. And
you know, the first thing I asked myself when I
look at a matchup like this, where you know, this

(05:27):
is two juggernaut teams. Obviously they just square it up
and square it off in the Super Bowl not too
long ago. You know, first thing I think about is
knowing that, you know, a team has to accept what
their circumstances are, right like, we come together and we
say this is what it is.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
We got out to a slow start.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
We lost this first game, and it was a divisional opponent.
You know, now we got to go up against a superior,
a very good football team in this Eagles team. You know,
winning this game can erase everything that we're feeling right now.
You know, when you get into that beginning of the season,

(06:06):
he had like just a little bit of like, man,
we lost this game, Like I hope we don't lose
another game, or you know, I don't want to get
off to a slow start. You start like thinking all
these different things, you know what I mean, and you
get a win like this. It's a statement game. It's
a statement game. I feel like they could prove a
lot to themselves. It would go a long way in

(06:27):
the media, and you'd have to assume that the fans
would be you know, they would be happy about it
on one side, and then fans on the other side
would be left wondering, you know.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Are we as good as we think we are? You know?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
But I think this is a big time statement game
for Kansas City. And while I say it's a big
time statement game for Kansas City, TJ, I say it's
also a big time statement game for the Eagles because
right now Jalen Hurts can boast and brag that in
the two biggest games of two different seasons, he's outplayed
Patrick mahone Homes.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Why stop that streak now, you know, why stop? Now?
Keep your foot on the gas. Have a good showing
against him. Now.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
I think this is a big statement game for Philadelphia
as well. What's your take on it?

Speaker 3 (07:11):
From where we are and you look at week one,
we wouldn't say it's a must win for the Chiefs
because they are the chiefs Andy Reid, Patty Mahomes, Chris Jones.
But it damn near feels like it's a must win.
Teams that start going to it's tough to make the playoffs,
so it feels like it is a must win. But

(07:33):
when it's a Chief, is it really a must win.
We look at week one, it's an easy Eagles victory.
That that means going into it the way they played,
and then the way the Chiefs played. But the Chargers, Man,
the Chargers came out and they were impressive offensively, just

(07:53):
particularly throwing the ball, and so we just we knew
this time was comeing. LeVar, It's hard to be a
dominant team in the NFL. They've won that division nine
years in a row. They've been in the AFC Championship Game, however,
many years in a row, and so it's going to

(08:16):
come to an end eventually. It's just a matter of
when it comes to an end. Going down oh to
two against a team that pretty much dominated you in
the Super Bowl, they dominated you, and they're returning pretty
much the same team, give or take a player here
or there, and you guys aren't returning the same team

(08:41):
because now xavier're worthy. I just bo told us he's
been rolled out, per scepter. So now, where where does
that deep play come from? Where does that deep threat
come from? Where does the fear of somebody getting down
the field and one play come from?

Speaker 2 (08:55):
It may be getting real interesting.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Travis kelce Travis, he has always been the safety valve.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
He's always been the great.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Can he still do it at the level he's done
it in years past this year?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Or is it? Is it? Is it? Like?

Speaker 4 (09:12):
You know, is that naive to think that Travis Kelcey
can be that that safety out left outlet, that safety
valve that he's been for for you know, Patrick Mahomes,
Is this still the same Kelsey that can do that?

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Obviously it's not the same Kelsey as we age we know,
but this is the thing. He's been a safety valve,
like Travis Kelcey when Tyreek Kill was on the team.
You focusing on that deep threat, so you're leaving everything
underneath open, You're leaving that open. You're hoping one guy
can guard Kelsey and he's so shifty and he's so

(09:48):
smart that that's a lot of times that gets lost
is the brain of guys. The mind of guys, and
Travis Kelsey has a great mind when it comes to football.
But take over a game. He mean do that? Nah,
he not doing that. He not doing that. If he
was doing that, they would have beat the Chargers. And

(10:08):
so it's gonna be up to Patrick Mahomes or that
run game. If they can run the ball effectively, and
with Jalen Carter fresh, and this being early in the
season and them young boys that the Eagles have on defense,
I feel like this is gonna be tough seletting. If
they win this game, this will be an Andy Reid

(10:30):
while he called a hell of a game in Week
two because he knew he needed it type of game.
If they win this, it will because Andy Reid really
knows how important this game is. Not going down oning
to defensively. Can they get on the same page. You
know they arguing at the end of the game because
Chris Jones gives up contained. But can they affect Jalen Hurts.

(10:54):
Can the Eagles throw the ball effectively or it's bad?
It's gonna say, know, we will not let them run
the ball like they did against the Chargers and Herbert
shredded them through the air. So if they take away
to run, can Jalen Hurts now shred them through the air?
Like justin Herbert, did.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
I tell you what it's gonna be.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
It's gonna I'm curious to see what the storylines will
be coming out of that game, because there's there's all
kinds of very very strong real.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Quick, real quick. If you just look at this game, right,
just this game. If you name the ten best players
in this game, how many Chiefs gonna make the list?

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Two? Which two? Travis? Three? And I say three?

Speaker 4 (11:44):
I say three because I still Chris Jones and Pat Mahomes.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Chris Jones and Pat Mahomes.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Yeah, yes, I'm gonna say three, but I'm not going Kelsey.
I'm going I'm going Chris Jones, Pat Mahomes and Trip
mc duffy. Those are my three, Okay, okay, and then
the other seven probably would be Eagles, right. Yeah, you'd
have to assume from the two receivers you got Jalen Carter,

(12:12):
you got the linebacker, and Brown you got you got
Jalon Barkley, who's the number one on that list?

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Pretty easy to say that it would be Oh, we
didn't even talk about the old line. The old line, Yeah,
Malotta and those like y Lane Johnson, Yes, like. And
so when you look at just overall best players, it's
the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
They have the better players. They've done a great job
drafting development.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
They So should it be I mean, should it be
expected that that they're going to to win?

Speaker 2 (12:51):
I expect them to win. I expect the Philadelphia Eagles
to win the game. I do. I do.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
I mean their favorite and I believe they're going to
be favored and win and cover and whatever was the spread,
whatever it is, as long as it's.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Not half's who one and a half. I don't bet
on these games. Man, I'd be scared. Man, I like
my money.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
But yeah, I feel like the Eagles will cover that easy.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
I don't care where they playing at. Oh wow, Yeah,
I really feel that way.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
But it's the it's the Chiefs and their championship pedigree that.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
To me.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Why would it just be one and a half After
you saw Week one? Now people may say they played
the Cowboys. The Eagles did and they won, but it
was it was a close game. Seating Now make them
catches it's a different ball game. I don't believe the
Cowboys would have run the ball that effectively with Chayln
Carter in the middle.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Also, so how the game changed it as well? Yeah,
very true as well.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
You know, I was surprised at how well the Dallas
Cowboys played in that game. I will say that not
to get off topic, but I wonder they play above
their heads because it was a divisional opponent. Was that
the best we were going to see from Dallas? Or
is Shottenheimer really got this offense? Because that offense was clicking.

(14:11):
Like you said, there are a couple of catches away
from that possibly being a different outcome of that game.
And then the storyline, the narrative of Dallas is vastly
different than what it is right now. So I'm curious, like,
are they you know, are they Are they so good
that we could look at this this Eagles team and say, man,
they struggled, they had to fight to get that win

(14:32):
against Dallas, And I, you know, I'm not sure what
type of team Dallas, you know, what type of team
they are? So I don't know if that how impressive
a victory it was for Philly versus was it an
expected victory. What I do know is, regardless of what
the Kansas City Chiefs may seem to be in reality
versus perception, there's still a team to be feared, there's

(14:54):
still a team to be respected. And the one team
that doesn't really bow down to that it has been
the Eagles. So I think this is a really big game.
Like I said, I'll label it a statement game.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Not I don't don't.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
I'm not gonna go with must win just yet, but
definitely I think it's a statement game for both of
these teams to basically state, you know, is one team
losing dominance, is the other team gaining dominance?

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Or don't forget about the old champ.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
We still hear and we still chip teeth, you know,
and do what we need to do chip yeah yeah,
certified tooth chipper. Yeah yeah yeah, certified tooth chipper. And
so you know, that's that's it'll be interesting to see
how it all plays out. So, hey, you know, you
guys could get in on that that fun in that action.
I'm gonna tell you in a couple of seconds about

(15:41):
how you can. But first we're gonna, uh, we're gonna
take this break in on the other side of it,
there are some interesting matchups, you know, uh, the Bears
and Caleb Williams.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
That's an interesting conversation. He's got some pressure on them.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
But there's some other quarterbacks in the league that may
have some pressure on them as well. We'll talk about
it on the other side of break.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
You're listening to up one game. It's TJ. Hutschman Zida.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Hutchman Zada say that, you know what, there's some teams
out there that are going to do well.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
The forty nine ers are.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
Favored by minus three, favor to get it by three.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Will they get it?

Speaker 4 (16:53):
You know, there's the bold prediction of the Eagles will
cover that.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
One and a half. Will they do it?

Speaker 4 (17:00):
I don't know, we'll see, But that was TJ and
he felt that way. You know what, I kind of
agree on the Eagles front, but I found that it's
pretty interesting to see, well, what will them Jaguars do
against the Bengals. You know why, because some people think
that these Jags are pretty good team.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
So three and a half m I might.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
I might really go with the Jaguars on that that
plus three and a half. But you can do it.

Up on Game. Down on Game, But first let's talk

(20:08):
some some interesting matchups that lead to interesting conversation. And
let's go no further than starting with the Chicago Bears.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Kayla Williams has some interesting you know, I guess take
on his filling frustration towards uh, you know, his accuracy deal.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Do we have sound on that bow?

Speaker 1 (20:32):
No?

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Okay? Uh.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
You know it's interesting listening to or reading about, you know,
some of the frustrations that he's he's citing and listening
to some of the criticisms that are being lobbed out
there at him.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Uh. They have a big game this week.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
And I'm curious, how how complicated, how difficult is it
TJ when you have two divisional games?

Speaker 2 (20:58):
You know, so so quickly. You know, you got Vikings.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
You know, you get out to the start with the
Vikings and then you come back and you got to
do it against the Detroit Lions.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Uh decent? Does that seem fear to you? I mean,
it's it is what it is, man, It's the National
Football League, right, it's tang. You played, You play the schedule.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
You play the schedule, and and when you look at it.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Is it a tough schedule?

Speaker 3 (21:26):
I mean many will say you got a solid by
playing your first game, a guy making his first start
had had the game, and you couldn't finish in the
fourth quarter. And now we also doing you another solid
you playing your coach's former team who's lost both of
its coordinators and then look good in Week one.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
True, And so you can look at it that way
as well.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
If your Caucasians had them ranked second or third toughest
in terms of you know, hardest, hardest schedule to play,
that's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Yeah, but it's a lot of it is based on
what the Detroit Lions were with Ben Johnson and Aaron
Glenn running the offensive defense.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
Respect Minnesota was with a different starting quarterback exactly, and
so from what us the way that the Detroit Lions looked,
that's not the same with Detroit the last year, not
offensively nor defensively.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
And so if I'm Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson and the
Chicago Bears, I feel good about going and they're gonna
be fired up. It's in Detroit. It's gonna be loud.
Ben Johnson is coming back, but the Bears just got
a finish man. Jalen Johnson looks like he's gonna be
back playing. That's gonna be a big help because if
he's playing against the Vikings, they probably win that game

(22:51):
because they came back via the passing game, and and
if he's if he's healthy, he plays Week one, the Chicago.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Bears may win. Kayla Willis is just gonna have to.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
Play from the pocket. The off script and off schedule
plays that he's so good at. He's gonna have to
limit them because there's times where he shouldn't go off
script and get outside the pocket, and he does. You
don't want to take away his creativity, his athleticism, just
his mind to do great things out the pocket. But

(23:21):
he's gonna have to throw the ball more accurately with
timing and anticipation within the pocket. That's what he's gonna
have to do more consistently. If he can do that,
the Bear is gonna be They can be a really
good football team.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Because I've said this before.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Man, if this Caleb Williams Ben Johnson marriage doesn't work,
you're not blaming Ben Johnson. Jered Goff was left for
dead and he resurrected them. And so what Ben Johnson
is proven? Out of those two guys, only one of
them is proven, and that's Ben Johnson. So if it
doesn't work, many are gonna say, oh, Caleb just isn't

(23:57):
what we thought he would be And I'll say this again.
I said, there's only one guy, and y'all gonna say
there's two guys, or y'all you gonna see there's one
guy that I knew prior to the draft that would
have taken one quarterback over Kayler Williams, and that was
Antonio Pierce. He told me from the very get go,

(24:18):
Jaye Downels the best quarterback in this draft. If I
had the number one pick, I would draft him. He
told me that from the get go. Yes he did,
and nobody fought.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
For it, and he fought for it for he just couldn't.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
He couldn't convince the GM what he saw. Now, the
gym is out of a job, and so is AP.
But AP was dad sat on TJ. I'm telling you
right now, jay and Downs the best quarterback in his draft.
And I believe AP was the only guy that thought that.
And so Kayler Williams is gonna have to perform or

(24:51):
I don't know how much longer, Ben Johnson. And that's
chicag because nowadays, man, they don't give you a lot
of time. LeVar. You know when you with it's three
four years now. If you ain't balling by year two. Uh,
they're gonna move on, and so I believe Chicago Bears
have a great chance to winning this game. But Kayla

(25:12):
Williams is gonna have to play from quarter one to four,
not quarter one through three.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
You brought up Antonio Pierce and the Raiders. They have
a big game against the Chargers this week. I feel
like this is another one of those statement games. It
could be a statement game for Gino Smith. It could
be a statement game for Justin Herbert. Uh, it could
be a It could be a statement game for both
of these coaches, both and Carol and Harball. How are

(25:38):
you looking at this matchup? Like to me that the
Chargers have to travel into into Las Vegas to play them.
I think that that obviously the Chargers are to me,
one of the teams on on the up upswing. I
think their trajectory is pretty high. I think just Harball,

(25:58):
the way he is able to bring his element and
his the way he coaches, the purpose that he brings
to it, I don't know, its teams just always seem
to respond to what he brings to the table. This
seems like this could be as good a year as
any for the Chargers to take a super definitive step forward.
Obviously already having beat the Chiefs, which is that's a

(26:19):
big one. You slay the giant right out of the gate.
But this is still a big game because the Raiders.
We don't really know what the Raiders are. You know,
Geno Smith could be that guy for them, and they
brought him in. He had great success with Pete Carroll.
What's your take on this matchup? This is gonna be

(26:40):
a great game. Obviously division lead is at stake Pete
Carroll versus Harball, and this goes back to USC and
Stancis Stanford, Seattle Seahawks versus the San Francisco forty nine
ers going at it for years. And I will say

(27:02):
there's a little they'll never say this publicly. I wouldn't
say they dislike each other with rivalry there though, Oh
I know.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
That as a fact, not as speculation. And they know
that they know how each other feels about the other.
They know this and the people that know them know
this also, and so that that's intrigue in it. Two
really good coaches in the same division, with the history
that they had in college being in the same conference,

(27:34):
to history they had an NFL being in the same division,
and so it's gonna get really really interesting. I believe
the Chargers have the edge in this game. I just
they have a better team in my opinion. But Pete
Curle's a hell of a coach man. That's one thing

(27:54):
I won't take away from him. He can coach football.
He makes men believe and what he's doing. But conversely,
this is what Harrball do man year two of anywhere
he's been, he goes to work. He took the Niners
to the super Bowl in year two. Week one of
year two with the Chargers, they looked great against the

(28:18):
Kansas City Chiefs, and so I believe the show will
keep rolling. They gonna look great against the Raiders. I
just feel like top to bottom, they have the better
team defensively, the Chargers. I mean you last year their
top three defense, they top three defense, and they played

(28:41):
really well against the Kansas City Chiefs team in Week one.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
But so when you look at this matchup.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Obviously it's Harball versus Carol in that history, and I
don't know if I would use the word dislike, but.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
They look forward to this game. Mm hmm. It's interesting.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
I'm I'm excited to see it because I want to know,
you know, how good is how good is this this
Raiders team right now?

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Can they be good?

Speaker 4 (29:16):
I think that while I have my questions in terms of,
you know, Geno Smith being the guy to do it,
he has he has had a brilliant resurgeon of the
resurgence of his career in Seattle and allotted him this
opportunity to be this guy. I'm interested to see can
he stay out high enough level two to lead this

(29:38):
this you know, Raiders team into a new place, which
is of winning.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
So I'm sure you can do that. That that's props
the Geno.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
If Jene Smith in the Las Vegas Raiders beat Justin
Herbert and the Chargers.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
That's a that's a statement victory. Yeah, hell yeah, that's
a statement. You guys say, that's a statement.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
I mean like the West is wide, the West is
open for business, Isn't that what it says? I mean,
we'll see what Denver does, you know, what they do
with the coats. But you got to think that this
could be a four team race depending on how the
Raiders play.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
And you know why it gets interesting because Pete Currle
wants to run the ball Ashton Gent they draft him
in the top ten. He struggles to run the ball
in Week one. You know they want to run the ball.
You're not running the ball against the Chargers. And so
now can Geno do what he did last week? Can
he air you out over three hundred plus yards passing?

(30:39):
I don't know if you can do that against the
Chargers because they're so sound defensively led by Derwin James
on the back end Khalil Mack on the front end.
Are you able to air them out in the passing game?
I just don't believe you can do that because they
gonna stop the run game. They stopping that, and so
that to me is where put the ball in Gino's

(31:00):
his hands, and if he can do what he did
last week, we gonna have a hell of a game
on our hands.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
So we mentioned Ap losing his job after one season,
and now I'll say that I know this won't happen, obviously,
but it's interesting. Mike Varibel takes over the New England
Patriots and the New England Patriots lose to the Las
Vegas Raiders in the opener of the season. They're going

(31:25):
up against a team in the Miami Dolphins, who had
a terrible loss against the Colts, and well, there's been
a lot of fallout to that. We talked about Tarik
killing what he said, focusing in on football, But some
of the bigger questions that have arised coming out of
Week one have been has Mike Daniels lost this team?

(31:46):
And what do you do if Tua can't return to
form or if you're running an offense. I guess maybe
people have stated that is geared towards keeping Tua away
from contact. Can Tua be the quarterback that he and
be without taking some of those risks and possibly getting
hit and doing so? You know, you said it. Coaches

(32:09):
don't get a lot of time, but you know, how
does this how does this game play out? Because you
have Mike Rabel with this new England Patriots team, how
do you feel about where they're at?

Speaker 2 (32:20):
What does a O and two start mean for them?

Speaker 4 (32:23):
And how do you feel in you know, on the
other side of it for the Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Because both of these teams are facing oh and two starts, you.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Would assume looking at it, Uh, I don't know if
it's a must win it just for the Dolphins locker room,
the psyche. Uh, just the mental fortitude of feeling like
you can get things done. This Rabel's first year, he's
trying to install a culture and how he wants to
go about doing things in New England.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
For Mike mc daniel, this this is not his first year.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
And you lose to the Coats with Daniel Jones making
his first start as a coach and he shred you
looking like he one of the better quarter quarterbacks in
the league. You can't play like this again. Your guys
better be ready to play. Does Christian Gonzales play for
the Patriots. He did not play in Week one. That's

(33:15):
that's gonna be a big deal because if you look
at and listen to what Xavier and Howard said, we
took to us first read away and he started the panic.
He started the panic and got a little antsy, and
so now you know Rabel's gonna do the same thing.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Defensively, they tough.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
So for me, this would be a game of which
quarterback plays better, their team wins. Drake mayor to a
whichever quarterback plays better, they'll win the games. To us, still,
you would say, shell shocked from the head issues in

(33:56):
the collisions that he's had in years past. Is why
he plays somewhat panic and franatic in the pocket if
it's first read isn't open. I think that's normal. I
think who wouldn't be. But Mike McDaniel is going to
have to figure out a way to be effective if
that's the case. Because you just lost to the coach

(34:19):
and Daniel Jones. Not many people expected that. Not not
with Daniel Jones or the quarterback. Not the way he
looked last year with the Lyric Goods, they were very impressive.
But Shane Stich and again you you bring him back
into the picture as the head coach of the coach
and say, okay, we knew you can coach. You just

(34:39):
you know, you just need a guy that could execute
what you wanted them to execute. And so now that's
gonna have to be the converser McDaniel. We all thought
Mike McDaniel was a great coach, but can he put
his foot down and be a leader of men?

Speaker 2 (34:53):
If you don't have guys in that locker.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Room that are going to lead the team, the coach
has to lead a team. And can you put your
foot down and demand excellence? Can you put your foot
down and demand that things be done how you want
them to be done, and if they're not done how
you want, there's consequences. There's consequences for not doing things
my way. And can he be that type of enforcer

(35:16):
but a head coach that guys want to play for.

Speaker 4 (35:20):

Every snap is loaded with opportunity and you getting that
opportunity to take advantage of it. We've been calling out

(36:41):
different games all show long. I'll give you a couple
right here. Looking at this Bills. Yeah, what is the
Bills Jets game. The Bills have to go into the
domain of the Jets, but the Jets are giving up, well,
the Bills are giving up is six and a half
their favor to get it, I believe the Bills will

(37:04):
not only win the game, they're gonna cover that six
and a half point. Yeah, that call that line. So
that's one good one that I've been looking at. And
you know, another one that I think is pretty pretty
interesting is that Buccaneers and Texans game. That's gonna be
a really good game, a cool game to watch. Obviously,

(37:26):
they're pretty closely matched up and the Texans are getting
the Ads by minus two and a half. But the Buccaneers. Man,
the Buccaneers, they just got something going. They got that defense,
they got that magic on offense. I'm gonna tell you what,
I feel really good about the Buccaneers in this one.
So if I'm looking at these, that's what I'm looking

(37:47):
at this this week, and well you can look at

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Time for some picks. Are you up on game?

Speaker 2 (40:04):
Let's break this up, let's back it up down that game?
All right, bo, talk to me.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
I know I didn't have any any saying what took
place last week?

Speaker 6 (40:14):
So week one, Week one, you went three and three,
so you're five. You were five hundred week one. Last week,
plaques rebounded. He went three and three, TJ, you went
one in five last week.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
Yeah, I gotta stop picking with my heart.

Speaker 6 (40:28):
Always a chance for a turn around.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
We're gonna stay with LaVar. Why are you doing all that?
I went three and three with you week one.

Speaker 6 (40:33):
Yeah, yeah, TJ with three week yeah yeah. So week
three here we're going to start. We're going to start
in San Francisco and New Orleans. In New Orleans taking
on these Saints again. All of these lines and odds
are provided by our friends over at Draft Kings.

Speaker 5 (40:49):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (40:49):
The forty nine Ers a three point road favorite here,
the total is currently set at forty and a half
and LaVar will start with you.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
Yeah, I'm taking New Orleans to win, So I guess
I'm a money line that one.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
So what's the over? What's the point?

Speaker 6 (41:05):
The point total is forty and a half right now.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
Yeah, I'm gonna take the under on that.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Yeah, I'll take the under in the points, and I'm
gonna take the Niners and cover the They'll be the Saints.
If they don't beat the Saints, I don't care. It's
gonna be a long season.

Speaker 6 (41:19):
I have the Niners, all right. Next up, the Philadelphia
Eagles head to Kansas City in a Super Bowl rematch.
The Eagles a one and a half point favorite on
the road. Here, the total is forty six and a
half and Tj'll start with you here.

Speaker 3 (41:32):
I go over on the points, and like I said earlier,
I like the Philadelphia Eagles to win this game one
and a half points. That's I mean, that's really a
pick them. So yeah, I'm taking the Philadelphiagles. I just
they had a better football team.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
I just find it hard to believe that, even where
they're at right now, that they're going to lose two
games in a row. So I gotta take I got
to take KC on points nine. And as far as
the over under on it, I don't. I don't think
it's gonna be a offensive explosion. But forty one, I'm

(42:12):
gonna take the over because it's not that high as.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
Six. Yeah, I'm gonna take the under. I'm gonna take
the under.

Speaker 6 (42:23):
All right. Last game here, the Chargers in Las Vegas,
Chargers three and a half point favorites, the total forty
six and a half.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Yeah, I have forty six and a half.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
Yeah, I'm gonna take the over on this one, and
I believe that the Chargers will cover.

Speaker 3 (42:40):
I'll take the under, and I will take the Los
Angeles Chargers also to cover.

Speaker 6 (42:49):
All right, there you go. That's up on game down again.

Speaker 4 (42:51):
All right, Well thank you for that, sir. Yeah, I
feel like I'm gonna dominate you on this one.

Speaker 2 (42:57):
Bro. I feel like I feel good about those picks
right there.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
See, I didn't pick with my heart that time. I
picked with my head. See a lot of times I
picked the coaches and teams that I like. I gotta
stop doing that. I gotta stop doing that. I gotta
start really picked because y'all really think y'all better than
me at this and y'all not.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
Well, I guess we're gonna find out. Hope you guys
stay locked in, enjoy all of the football today and
all the good stuff. Hey, TJ, enjoy your day.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
Man. I'm about to go see these Nickny Lions play. Man.
