into this NFL flax man, and this is gonna be
more of a two part discussion. Russell Wilson is bench,
Jackson Dart is now the starter list. First part of

(01:34):
the discussion, let's talk about what do we expect to
see out the Jackson Dart the New York Giants and
can when let's be honest, can this save dables job?
What are expectations with Jackson Dart now that he's a starter.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I don't believe that this is this decision by Dave
ball is going to save his job. You know, I've
known Brian day ball Man ever since, you know, I
was eighteen years old and he was a GA at
Michigan State under Nick Saban. So you know I love
him to death, and you know we're around the same age.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
And but you know.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
He made an executive decision to bench Russell Wilson and
he said it's his decision. But the expectations for Jackson Dart,
you know, playing tomorrow, is that we simply don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
And where do you go from here? If you're the New.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
York Giants, if Jackson does not go out and perform
well against a Los Angeles Chargers team who's undefeated and they're.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
Very good, and.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Jim Harball is going to have a plan for him
schematically on defense to confuse him.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
He's a rookie.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
He just don't go out on the football field as
a rookie quarterback and and and light it up. I
don't think that's going to be the case tomorrow. But
if he doesn't get off to a good start, you know,
he has an interception, and you know, he's not the
most accurate passer that you know, we've seen coming out

(03:21):
of the draft last year. But I think they're going
to have some packages in him in there for him
to be able to get him in and out of
the pocket you use his legs. I think he's a
good athlete, but just from a pure quarterbacking standpoint, I
don't know what to expect from him. Malik Nables has
a shoulder. I don't believe he practiced this week, so

(03:44):
he didn't get the reps with Malik uh you know,
during you know, the practices. So I just don't know
what to expect. And I really hope that, you know,
moving forward, that he can kind of show. Uh, you
know what he is going to be moving forward before
rookie quarter back to walk into this stadium, especially a

(04:08):
team that's zero to three, they need a spark. I
just hope he doesn't go out there and tries to
do too much, and I think the offense will be limited.
But I don't know what to expect from him because
I really haven't seen him play and perform on the
NFL stage, especially against a Los Angeles Chargers defense, who

(04:32):
I think is really good.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, the bad part about it for Jackson Dart is
you're going against Chargers defense that's top ten. The good
part is you finally play now. Jackson Dart has never
sat in his life, and like I said, I've been
knowing him for a while. High school never sat. College
never sat. When he's at SC as a freshman, didn't

(04:59):
play much. But when he went to Ole Miss, he
never sat. So Jackson Dart is a guy and a
player that's used to always being on the field. So
being on the field tomorrow for him is gonna be normal.
For Him's gonna be home. It's gonna be a little nervous.
You have a little butterflies. You'll be a little ANTSI
it's National Football League. Although he's played snaps here and

(05:21):
there throughout games, it's a rookie making his first start.
And every coach that I always played for would always
point that out. We're not losing to a rocky quarterback
making his first start in the National Football League, and
I guarantee that's gonna be Jim Harball and the Chargers motel.
We are not losing. They are playing a Charger team

(05:42):
who one of the best teams in the league, one
of the best defenses in the league. The Giants aren't
a good football team, and this is his first game. Man,
I wish him nothing but the best. And now yeah, no,
I watch nothing but the best. But tjum question, No,

(06:02):
I don't believe they're gonna win this game tomorrow. When
win the game or win the game, I'm.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
Really going to win this game tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
So so how do you how they losing? They losing
the game by double digits. Win the game, right, they're
losing the game by double digits.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Yeah, with that being said, you know you're gonna have
to pick pick uh some of the good things that
he's going to do tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Of course, even the loss, he's a good he's a
good athlete. He'll throw the ball accurately, He'll he'll be
able to make some plays with his legs. He's tough,
he's gonna compete. He'll be fine in the long run.
But your first start is against the Chargers in this
defense and this coaching staff that we know. It's extremely bright.

(06:58):
Like I'm pulling for Jackson dark because, like I said,
I know a person. You guys know why I'm biased
when it comes to the guys that I know. But yes,
this is an upheld battle for him. Hopefully he can
do enough to save Dabel's job. But I'm not sure
that either, just just because of the schedule that they have.

(07:20):
Now on the flip side of this, let's go to
Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson has been benched. Is this the
end of Russell Wilson as a starter in the National
Football League.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
It's tough to say, Man, I can't believe you. I
really liked Russell a lot.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Man.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
You know, it just takes me back to the you know,
third and one Super Bowl and they they want to
switch release on the slint and they don't get the
ball to Marshawn. He's supposed to be a two time
you know, world champion in MYS.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
But I do believe.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Just moving forward with you know, I think last week
was his last start in the in the NFL as
a starting quarterback. I think he's had a brilliant career.
Everybody is talking about is he a Hall of Famer?

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Is he not? Is he? I believe so. I think
he's played well enough.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
He has better stats than some of the previous quarterbacks
that are currently Is.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
He now we're taking this discussion somewhere else. I don't
believe he's a Hall of Famer. My Hall of Fame criteria,
I think I told y'all this, it's very simple. At
any point in your career, for five years where you're
a top five player at your position, if the answer
is no, you're not a Hall of Famer. That's very simple.
Were you a top five player at your position for

(08:56):
five years? You don't think that he was. You give
me the year was he where he was a top
five player for just three years? You can't name it.
He played when Brady and Aaron Rodgers was rolling right, Okay,
you can't even when he was in Seattle. When he

(09:18):
was in Seattle and they were and they were doing
extremely well. They weren't saying Russell Wilson was a top quarterback.
They were saying that defense is the top. Defense is
the reason they're TJ come on, man like, like, he
was not out there doing this thing when the Seahawks
were really good. This is this is what I'm saying. Somebody,
somebody had to or trade this offense and get up

(09:42):
and down the football field. He was playing that, Russell Wilson,
he was playing quarterback. He was playing well. He wasn't
playing top five quarterback in the National Football League.

Speaker 6 (09:51):
Well, oh my god, he was. He top five in
the league. I think them top five put him at five.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
I don't. I don't know Russell Wilson. I think Russell
Wilson is a really good player. I think Russell Wilson,
and this is just from the outside looking in, is
a great human being. I don't know Russell Wilson, but
from watching him, to his interviews and just seeing how
he carries himself, I think he is a a plus

(10:27):
human being.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Quarterback.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
He's a great man. No, I don't believe he's an
a plus quarterback. No, No, we we got to put
things in the context. He was a very good player.
His time as a starter in the National Football League
I believe is over. And I agree and this and
this is the thing though, like because he's not a
Hall of Famer in my eyes, I'm not discreting his career.

(10:55):
He had a hell of a career. He was a
very good player. But the best of the best. Nah,
he wasn't. He didn't play at that level consistently enough
because when he left the Seattle see me, he went
to two Super bowl For damn how many Super Bowls
he went to? Because the football is over? So how

(11:17):
can you not be playing a great foot plexic when
all you gotta do is get set but seventeen points? Then, like,
come on, when all you gotta do is score seventeen
twenty points? Come on? The man took this football team
offensively to two Super Bowls.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
I mean, I don't I don't understand hockey hate.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Shou say that that defense, that defense, that defense took him.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
To two Super Bowls?

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Well, you know what, the defense can't play offense DJ right,
they can keep you in the game. Though, you cannot
discredit this man and say that I described Della football
while they were a very good football team. Listen, man,
I I'm not discreding him. His I believe he played
was it nine or ten years in Seattle. I believe
he played ten years in Seattle. Really really good, really

(12:13):
really good.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
So you're just gonna sit sit here and say, the
Seattle Seahawks were a very good football team.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
But the defense, the defense is really good. But but
look at what they had offensively. They never really had
Tyler Lockett. I don't know who else did they have
playing and Tyler Lockett, Dug and Doug Ball when Jermaine cursed,
Jamaine curse. Yeah, and they're not I'm saying they're not

(12:43):
household names.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
I agree with you.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Yeah, I'm not discrediting them either. But you have to
be able to go out and manage an offense and
play well enough to get to a Super Bowl. I mean,
I don't think y'all understand how hard it is to
get there. But now he wasn't playing great football and

(13:06):
he went to two Super Bowls.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
Come on, man, you gotta give him more credit than that.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
They the Seattle Seahawks got to the Super Bowl because
they had a great defense. Well, you know what, you
have to have a great defense to get to the
Super Bowl. But you still have to play offense too.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
And he did that. Listen, Dad, he did that. They
know he did just enough.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Oh my gosh, I can't believe.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
I can't.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
I can't believe this from from an offensive guy like myself.
You're gonna sit here and say that he did just enough. Yes,
he did just enough to get the two Super Bowls.

Speaker 5 (13:47):
T J.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yes he did. He did just enough. That defense, that
that defense. Look at that defensive ranking. Look at that
defensive ranking. Now, if Russell Wilson was when in games
like single handley defense giving up thirty he got to
score thirty one, that's different. That that's to me is

(14:08):
that's different. But when you had that defense, the defense
was the strength of that team. The defense carried him.
Everybody knows that. And that's not a shot at Russ.
That's just a reality. That's what took place. That's what
took place. The defense carried him. No, very good player.

(14:29):
I'm not very good player. Just not a Hall of
Fame player. That's not a shot in him. Very good player,
just not a Hall of Fame player, at least not
for me. Top five player at your position for five years,
I say no, I say no, but I think Chad
Johnson was and he not in the Hall of Fame.

(14:49):
So what do I know? What do I know? Plexic
con baris never made a prow bawl. I did not
know that until we start doing the show.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
That's crazy.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
That is crazy.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
And you got dudes making pro bowls now, I mean
nine honeys nine honey, you had to. You got backup.
Gods has backups to make pro bos now. So I
digress man. But Russ again, very good player. I don't
know him, but from what I do see him a

(15:21):
plus human being, a plus father, just a plus person.
And that's just on the outside looking in.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
But yeah, we both agree his career is done as
a starter. We disagree on the Hall of Fame. Sorry,
this discussion just kind of went where we didn't think
it would go. But that's what happens when you do
live radio and we just go off the cuff. We

Lofar Arrington.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
His school, his love.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
They have a big, big game versus Oregon today three
versus six. Penn State is a third ranked team in
the country. Oregon is ranked six. And I'm gonna throw
some I'm gonna give you some stats. James Franklin record
against AP Top ten teams since he's been the head
coach of Penn State.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Four and twenty four and twenty now and I'm gonna
give you those four wins.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
Listen.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Twenty sixteen, they beat Ohio State twenty four to twenty one.
Same season in the Big Ten Championship, they beat Wisconsin.
Twenty twenty three, they beat Utah and the Rose Bowl,
which last year in the College Football Playoff they beat
Boise State.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
Do you.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Believe that he can kind of get this monkey off
his back, so to speak, and finally win a big game.
They're the favorite, they're at home, it's a white out.
LaVar isn't here because he's there to support his school
and his team.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
It's today to day.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Well, unfortunately for the Niitney Lions and have Valley and
University Pargo, whether you want to call it, I don't
believe so, and it's because of not This is James Franklin.
I believe that Penn State is a very very good
football team. I think when the preseason rakings came out,

(20:51):
they were ranked number two. When everybody was asking why.
But I believe that Oregon is one of the supreme
teams in college football this year. I understand the white out.
I get it, we are, but the night they ain't.

(21:12):
And I'm gonna say they ain't. They think we are,
they say, but they ain't. No, And I really believe
that the Organduction going to Happy Valley of Nightmare put
up some points. But it comes down to the same
guy every season. It ain't James Franklin. As Drew Allen.

(21:35):
Through the first month of the season, he's the only
complete sixty four percent of his passes. He has six
hundred and twenty six yards and four touchdowns in the
month of September. That's not exactly elite. And I think
when it comes down to Penn State, just like the

(22:00):
naturally some of my final Championship game lamp last year
in Miami, he didn't complete a football to a wide receiver.
That has to change if you want to win big
time college football games these days, you have to be
able to throw the football and you can't just rely
on running it and throwing it to the tight end.

(22:23):
When Drew Allen is throwing the ball outside the numbers.
This is when the Nickley Lions get into trouble because
he's a good quarterback, but if you expect him to
go out and deliver the football consistently and accurately, he
is not one of those kind of qbs. And I
think that is going to be the Achilles Heell for

(22:48):
Penn State, not only tonight, but moving forward throughout the
rest of the season. He's going to have to pick
it up and be able to throw the football if
they want to win football games. But I think for
the night the Oregon Ducks, man, they've been stellar all
year and this defense is going to have to be

(23:08):
able to go out there and slow them down. I
don't think that's going to happen. And I always say
every year for James Franklin, he cannot win and has
not won the big games of hig State can't be
No Ohio State, and he can't be Michigan. If you

(23:29):
can't be the House and you can't be Michigan, you
can't win the Big Ten. And now that Oregon is
a part of that, you have to you have to
throw them in the mix two because they're a very
good team. But I think for the night for Penn State,
I get it. I understand them. On a national stage
seven point thirty, it's a white out, But I believe

(23:49):
that the organ Ducks are the superior football team going
into tonight.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
I agree with you Man Oregon. Now, to me, Oregon
is a powerhouse foot Oregon is an Alabama, a Georgia,
Ohio State LSU. That's Oregon football. They lose players, they
just reload, they just replace them. That's what Oregon is
when it comes to football. Now. The Oregon Ducks down

(24:16):
in Eugene, Oregon are a powerhouse of a football program.
They getting the best players, and their players are doing well.
It's gonna be every year moving forward. We're just gonna
see Oregon Ducks drafted in a draft year in and
year out. That's how good of a program they are.
That's what Dan Lanning has created in Eugene. That's just

(24:37):
a fact. Dante Moore, I'd be shocked if he is
in a Heisman finalist, and I'd be shocked by next
year if he doesn't really compete to win a Heisman.
If not this year. The Korean Moore true freshman top
receiver in the country coming out of high school football
committed to LSUD, commits go to Oregon, leading them great player,
gonna be a first round They got first round picks

(25:00):
all over that field.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
That's what the Oregon Ducks have.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
And so is it gonna be easy for him going
down in the Happy Valley in Penn State and winning
the game. No, it isn't because Penn State is gonna
play defense. But at some point Penn State is gonna
have to open up and let Drew Aler be the
first round quarterback that many think he can be in
Is you not just gonna beat Oregon just trying to

(25:27):
run the ball and play defense. You're gonna have to
create big plays in the passing game, and if you
can't do that, you're not gonna overpower them. Oregon is
not the team where oh yeah, they they weak upfront.
They're strong upfront, the stronger the lineback corp. They're stronger
the secondary. They don't have a weakness. And so I
believe the Orgon Ducks win this game. And I don't

(25:49):
even know. I guess Penn State's the favorite because they're
at home, but they don't have enough firepower on offense.
I believe to threaten the Orgon Ducks.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
So I don't believe. I don't even know why Penn
State is a favorite, to be.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
Honest, because they're playing at home. They're playing at home,
they're number one. So do you think this is a
double digit win for Organ?

Speaker 5 (26:10):
Yeah? I do.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
I don't know what's going on with wins I'm talking
about today, but I actually do.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
I believe it too though.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
I believe it's a double digit win for the Organ
Ducks going into Penn State, I really do. I don't
know why, but I just think that they can't sow
them down.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
Man.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
The only way I feel Penstak can win this game
if Dante more the Organ quarterbacks, comes in there and
turns the ball over right now, if I don't think
that's going to If he does that and he turns
the ball over, then they have a chance. They have

(26:48):
a chance. But I don't know. It's he hadn't really
turned the ball over much all season. I don't I
don't see it happen. But LeVar, hopefully you enjoy the game,
you enjoy the festivities.

Speaker 5 (27:03):
It's like every time LeVar show up, they lose. Hey
they do today.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
We just gonna tell LeVar stairway, Man Stairway, LaVar.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Every time they show up, you show up, they lose. Hey,
that's a bad olden. That's a bad old talk talk
to us.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
I love what you got for us.

Speaker 5 (27:23):
We gotta get to these updates.

Speaker 9 (27:24):
Let's actually check in live. LeVar is apparently enjoying himself
at a Penn State tailgate.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
Lose, Yeah, get up, he lose the fault.

Speaker 9 (27:38):
Come on, LeVar enjoying himself and getting ready for a
big matchup tonight, fellas. We also have a Philly special
to tell you about. It was pulled off a short
time ago by number twenty three Illinois against number twenty
one UFC.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Send Dixon in motion.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
It's a jet sweep.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Now, it's a reverse.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
Now, baby's gonna talk to and a touchdowns special and
Betty the former quarterback, he throws it to his fellow
quarterback at this level.

Speaker 9 (28:10):
Brian Barnhart the call in the Alini Sports Network. They're
up fourteen to seven over USC, one forty nine left
in the first half. Wake Forest leading number sixteen Georgia
Tech fourteen to three with one oh seven left in
the second quarter. Number twenty two Notre Dame up twenty
eight to thirteen at Arkansas with two and a half
to go in the first half. Notre Dame quarterback CJ.

(28:32):
Carr twelve of sixteen for two thirty three with three
touchdown passes, and Utah State and eighteenth rank Vanderbilt are
tied at seven three minutes in the second quarter. Golf
at the Ryder Cup. Yeah, besth plate come, oh god,
best page black in New York, Europe leading team USA

(28:56):
eight and a half to three and a half. You've
got three matches going on right now in progress, and
Europe leads.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
All three of those right now.

Speaker 9 (29:08):
So it appears, therefore, guys, the Team USA sadly will
apparently not be able to partake in a complimentary victory
celebration that had been offered by Manhattan's headquarters Gentlemen's Club,
unless they're oh, oh, you seem to react to that

(29:28):
very authoritatively.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
No, we got a putt better, We can't make any putts.

Speaker 5 (29:34):
If you can put you can go to the Manhattan
Gentleman's Club. Couple, guys, get it together, USA, USA.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 9 (29:45):
You cannot get golf analysis such as this anywhere else
in America. I defy you to find better righter cup
analysis than you just got it. Finally, in Major League Baseball,
the New York Yankees with a two I think leader
of the Baltimore Orioles in the bottom half of the
second ending Aaron Judge just fifty third home run of

(30:05):
the season for the Yankees. Guys, I had no idea
you were such golf officionados.

Speaker 3 (30:11):
Back to you, yeah man, And if you miss any

Post it after we get off the air. Yeah man,
rock party listen. I just want to reiterate what Alo
just said. We all well versed, we all well rounded.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
On the show, we talk golf, horseshoes, darts, corn hole,
whatever you want to throw at us. We got your cover.
But my guys are not putting well and they are
going to miss this A great evening of complimentary.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
They had a great opportunity, they had a great opportunity
and up blowing it like literally they are, come on, guys, hey,
well let's hope rock Party doesn't blow it in his
in his first game back, miss a couple of games.
Mac Jones doesn't lose a game he returned for the Niners.
Now Bosta he out, Nick Bosa done for the season.

(31:27):
With Brock Party's return, you got the Niners winning the
NFC West.

Speaker 4 (31:33):
Absolutely not, absolutely not. I've said this over the past month,
six months in the year, I think the window has
closed for the samru School forty dollars. Obviously we know
the contract that Brock Party has has received or you

(31:55):
know gotten. We talk about the same thing. No Debo,
no Brandon aut CMC can't stay healthy, George Kittle, Bosa
being out, and I think that's one of the biggest
blows for this football team moving forward, is not having Bosa.
So how are you going to slow guys down? The

(32:17):
NFC West is probably the least competitive division and all
of football. But I yet and still I don't see them,
you know, rising to the top to when it's division.
I'm Sam Donald's playing out of his mind right now.
So if I have to take one of the one
of these teams out of the division. I'm gonna say

(32:39):
that the Seattle Seahawks or the cream of the crop
and that division well, based off of how they've played
over the first month and how Sam Donald is continued
to continuing to play. So Brock Purty and Kyle Shanahan,
I get it, Roberts Sala's back in the building defensive,

(33:00):
but if you lose a Nick Bosa defensively, you can't really,
you know, get that kind of production from anybody else
on that football team, on that roster league wide. So
I think they're gonna suffer defensively, and it's going to
put a string on Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purty offensively

(33:24):
to go out and score more points. And I think
I believe that's one of the reasons it's gonna lead
to more turnovers for this football team.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Brock Purty is gonna make them better. Obviously, I thought
mac Jones played fantastic, but without Nick Bosa, the way
the Rams are playing, they pretty much gave a game
away last week. Could they win NFC WES, Yeah, they
could do. I think they will. No, I don't. I
believe the Rams will win NFC West. The Seahawks look

(33:55):
really good, and so right now, if I had just
looking at the teams and the way they're playing, I
would probably put the Rams at the top, the Seahawks
probably second, and then the Niners just from looking at
how the teams have played. That's just and that's obviously

(34:17):
early in the season. So I don't know, and I
don't I don't believe that they'll win the division. They
have a great opportunity, But the Rams to me far superior,
far superior.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
If brock Party is coming back, I wouldn't say far superior.
I wouldn't go that they're better. They're a better football team.
The Niners are still a good team. As long as
you have Shanahan and Salah, you're gonna be good.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
But I mna just say consistently throughout the season, I'm
going to take Sam Donald over Matthew Stafford. That's just
my personal opinion. I think when it comes down to it,
what Sam Donald has showed us over the past two years,

(35:00):
he's been brilliant. You can't deny that. And everybody said
when he left Minnesota he wouldn't be the same player
because he left Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson in Minnesota.
Look look what he's doing accomplishing right now as a
starting quarterback for the Seahawks with less.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
Yeah, he's he's played well. He's playing well. I think
going to the Niners really helped him out being coached
under Shannahan. But we'll see. I want to plex. Did
you see the the clip of the plane that the
Pittsburgh Steelers flew to Ireland and in the plane at

(35:41):
the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
Did you see that?

Speaker 3 (35:44):
Yeah, to the listeners, please y'all gotta google this. Y'all
gotta google and just see what we're talking about. The
plane that the Pittsburgh Steelers flew into Ireland and the
plane that the Minnesota Vikings flew in.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
You know, I just want to say this. You know,
I'm not going to you know, throw my formal organization
under the bus. I played there at seven years total,
and I'm gonna just say this. They are not the
most expensive organization in football. That's just not how they roll.

(36:23):
And when I ride in two thousand, I believe that
they were wearing black shoes. We played at three Rivers.
Three Rivers doesn't exist no more. It was as it
was a rug. It was one of the worst stadiums
in the world behind the vet In Texas Stadium. Yeah,
and it wasn't a good feeling when you were hitting

(36:48):
at ashwra Turver and three Rivers. But they wore black
shoes a year in nineteen ninety nine, a year before
I arrived. So here I am. I'm a top ten pick.
I go to the P'sburgh Steelers and you know, they ask,
you know, what kind of shoes you want? I want
those nikes right there. Instead of them going out to

(37:09):
purchase new shoes for everybody, you know what they did.
They spray painted the black shoes white.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
And so when you was out there running around like
the paint.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Was chipping away on your shoes as you were playing
because they did not go out and buy new shoes.

Speaker 5 (37:32):
They just spray pay them white. But the plane.

Speaker 4 (37:36):
I had a roommate in professional football with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They're not a very elaborate, expensive team. So I saw
the picture and it just took me back to that
moment when they spray painted the shoes because they didn't
want to buy news.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
Well, yeah, man, Unfortunately, if you're a Steeler fan or
a Steeler player and you'll see the vikings playing like it.
But it is what it is, hey, I advise, just
just go look, y'all. Y'all, go look, and you know,
form your own opinion. Form your own opinion now before

I just want you guys to pick the winners.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
I'm going to take Washington at home.

Speaker 4 (41:16):
I've never been there, but I heard it's incredibly loud,
so I'm going with Washington.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Man. It's tough to pick against Ohio State, but I
wanted Plexico to pick Ohio State because I wanted to
pick Washington. So I'm gonna pick Washington because that's why
I wanted to pick anyway.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
All right, big game of the day, one of the
big games of the day, Alabama at Georgia.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Oh, I'm going with the Bulldogs, man, Georgia is one
of the premire programs and all the country. Alabama is
struggling ever since Nick Saban left, so I'm taking the Bulldogs.
I'm not sold on gun or Stock. Then I like
what I'm seeing out of Ty Simpson. I'm taking the

(42:01):
Alabama Crimson Tide roll time.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
Oh no, all right, drama in the SEC as always,
LSU takes on Ole, Miss Lane Kiffin's daughter dating one
of the LSU's players, so that'll be a fun.

Speaker 5 (42:14):
Perfect I love the storyline.

Speaker 4 (42:17):
Hey, listen, I know Lea Knner personally, that offense is gonna.

Speaker 5 (42:20):
Be really explosive. But listen, I'm going with the raising cages, man.
I'm going with the LSU Tigers. That's what I'm say. Man.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
I'm an honorary LSU Tiger, My daughters went there, my
nephew is heading there next year. So yeah, I'm rolling
with LSU. Already know what that is all right.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
In last game here the bonus pick. You guys already
know who LeVar picked here. So how about the Oregon
at Penn State the big game of the day.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
I'm taking the Organ Ducks that win by two touchdowns,
which is fourteen point So, Dan Lanta, you're traveling all
