But have no fear. Podcasting is near. Go anywhere where

on game presents as well.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
That's right, this is up on game. All right. We
got TJ.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
Hitchman's out of here, I'm here, Plexico's off he's off
doing some handling, some family biz. But we got a
lot to get to, so let's let's jump straight into it.
I tease Josh Allen down playing off season drama with
Steph on Diggs, so let's pay off to tease on that.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
TJ. It just seems as though, and I talked to
we had Von Miller on.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
The show yesterday and he just basically, you know, he
it seems like everyone is down playing anything that has
to do with Stephan Diggs and with you know what's
going on with Buffalo. But here's my conclusion on you
tell me what you feel about it. He leaves out
of the the last game of the year, upset, storms
(01:51):
out of the locker room as they reported, and has
has an issue and he still has the issue now.
That says to me, whatever that issue was as to
why he did not and let's be clear, this is
what I'm thinking, why he did not have the type
of production or the type of game that he wanted
(02:13):
to have in that playoff game and was upset that
whatever it is that needed to happen for him to
feel confident and comfortable that that would not be the
trend moving forward, it didn't happen. I mean, is is
that logical to say that The only way Stefan Diggs
(02:35):
could be still upset and there's still be kind of
them out of balance in Orchard Park is purely based
upon he does not have the offensive coordinator that he
had when he first got there, when they were having
the success that they were having, and the new offensive coordinator,
I believe he just got renewed or something to that,
(02:58):
or the head coach cavern to the effect there was
an extension handed out, and it just seems as though
what Stepan Diggs was looking to change didn't change. And
now Josh Allen is seemingly feeling like he's pressured into
a situation where he has to be the deflector of
(03:19):
what's taking place between the coaching staff, the organization, and
Stepan Diggs.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Man.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
This is it's kind of crazy to me when you
think about it, Like, what are you upset about? Y'all
lost to a Bengals team that was just better. That's
number one, Number two, you were the most targeted receiver
in the game.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
What are you mad about?
Speaker 3 (03:43):
You finished the regular season with one hundred and eight
catches over fourteen hundred yards eleven touchdowns. What are you
mad about the previous season with Brian Dable. Let's say
you're mad about the office of coordinator leaving and taking
a better position being a head coach of New York Giants.
(04:04):
You're mad about that that season with Brian Dabel, that
last season you had one hundred and three catches. Last
year you had one hundred and eight. You had just
over twelve hundred yards. Last year you had over fourteen hundred.
You had ten touchdowns. Last year you had eleven. And
so now if you want to go back to twenty twenty, yeah, man,
(04:24):
I had one hundred and twenty seven catches over fifteen
hundred yards. You not doing that every year, And we
as players, we gotta be careful because when you start
doing this in this thought off season and the coach
asks you to leave, you're still harping on something that
(04:47):
happened months ago. You haven't gotten over it, and you
didn't set up a meeting to address it, or if
you did, we don't know anything about it. You didn't
put a phone call to the head coach to address
at least we don't know about that. So you come
back and you still mads He was drafted I believe
(05:08):
in twenty fifteen to the Vikings. This will be his
ninth year. He's heading into his ninth year. I believe
ninth or tenth one of them. Wait one, two, three, four, six, seven,
and this is tenth year head coming up? This be
a tenth year. Yeah, I'm triup and I had to
count that in my head. I'm sorry, Oh good, And
so we as play. You gotta be careful because in
(05:33):
the next year or two, ain't nobody gonna want him
on his team on eighteen, nobody's gonna want soon you
show any signs of slippage, any signs they don't want
the headache, and maybe he doesn't care about playing a
long time.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Nobody's gonna want the headache.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
And so I don't understand where this is coming from,
but I would have liked for it to have been
addressed soon as a season ended, so were not coming
back into this season with this same stuff, like why
it's over, and if it was a problem, address it
when it's the problem, not months later, and if it's
(06:13):
still bothering you. Everybody keeps their phone in their hand.
The majority of today pick up the phone, call your
head coach called Josh Allen, called the officer coordinator, and
say can we have a meeting? It's still bothering me, Like,
can we do that instead of Oh man, I'm still
(06:38):
pissed off, and nobody knows what's going on. Nobody knows
what's going on when he comes in there and he's mad.
At least that's what we are led to believed. Would
you agree with that?
Speaker 1 (06:54):
TJ? Is it? So? Is it? I'm sorry, LeVar? Is it?
Is it McDermott, Is it? Ken Dorsey? Is it Josh Allen?
Who is it? Who is it?
Speaker 5 (07:05):
I'm and if you think it's I think it's a
valid question. I think it's a valid question. I think
it's a valid question. And I don't think it's Josh
Allen because I don't know that Josh Allen would be
so adamant about continuing to downplay. You know, he did
the interview not too long ago where he said he
(07:26):
could have did better with the situation. Whatever that meant.
I don't even know what that means by him saying
he could have handled the situation a little better. I'm
assuming it meant throw him the ball more, because I
think he only caught the ball like three or four times,
and in.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
The last hand he had ten targets, ten targets, more
than any receiver in that game at that time, and so.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
But only had how many catches four? Three? I think
it was like three or four to me.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
As the target wasn't a good target, maybe it wasn't
a good pass play. I don't, I don't. I don't
know the details. I just I do know Stefan Diggs,
and I know he's a solid dude. Like he doesn't
he doesn't have that that type of like loose type
of character where he's just going to have a problem
over nothing. So there is something there. I will say
(08:19):
that there is something there for him to be up use.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
There's gonna be problems.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
Now, I will say this, he had the most targets
of any receiver in that game at ten, like I
stated earlier, but he had four catches for thirty five yards.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
That bothers him to.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
Me, that bothers the head and stat in that is again,
like I said, and those ten targets, how many playble
how many of those plays could have been horrible?
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Right? So then now I would ask you this.
Speaker 5 (08:49):
I would ask you this because this is more so
of a conversation that I think you're more you know,
qualified than I am, so I'd rather hear your perspective
on it. I made the point the reason why you
come into this season being up set and you're still
bothered coming into training camp or OTAs or many cabs
is because if this is the way that the current
group is calling the plays, and you come back and
(09:12):
you see that's exactly the way they're doing it's still
then you gotta be prepared to go through another season
where I don't agree.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
I don't know. Okay with that, talk to me. Talk
to me. You had one hundred and eight catches. You're
you're gonna have games.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
The fact that he's their main weapon in the passing
game and he had one hundred and eight catches is
a tribute to Ken Dorsey and.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Josh Allen getting him the ball.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
He had one hundred and eight catches in the regular season.
He had more targets than Jamar Chase, He had more
targets than to Higgins. He had more targets than anybody
in the game. There's just certain games you don't get
off the way you want, and it's a playoff game.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
And it bothers me one right.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
As a temperamental player, and so I feel where he's
coming from. But one thing I'm not doing is holding
on the summer four or five six months. I'm not
doing that because I'm going to address it. If I
feel that way, I'm not gonna walk around poutin. I'm
gonna put it all on the table so that we
as men can figure it out so we can move forward.
I'm gonna put my feelings out there and let it
(10:21):
be known so that what's wrong with him you don't
have to ask what's wrong with me. I'm gonna tell
you to like communication. Let's talk, and you have a
right to feel however you feel. I may not agree
with it, but that's your If that's how you feel,
that's how you feel. We are going to work through this.
(10:42):
But to say that the Buffalo Bills don't want to
get him the ball, that's nonsense. He's their best offensive
player outside of Josh Allen. They are trying to design
I played the National Football League. It's not about the place,
it's about the players. So you are designing every play
(11:05):
to get your best players the ball. Simple as that.
Every time they design to play, how can we get
Stefan the ball? That's what they're doing in these game
plan meetings as an offensive staff with the Bills. When
you're the mind be dog, how can we get Hill
and Waddle the ball? You're the Jets, how can we
get Garrett Wilson the ball? That's the way football works.
(11:26):
I'm McVeigh. How can we get Cooper Cup the ball?
Like that's what they do? How can we get Devonte
Adams the ball? So they're trying to get him the ball?
Sometimes it just doesn't work that way and it sucks.
That is at the Cincinnati Bengals in a playoff game
and it had to end that way. But trust and
(11:49):
believe they are trying to get him the ball.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
Well, it'd be interesting to see how that plays out
because we're getting closer and closer to football season, and
if he's still upset now, I can't imagine he's not
gonna be upset when the season starts. We're broadcasting live

I know you was on the field. Oh, I think
it was on the field. It's all good, man.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
And we had a really good day training yesterday. Man.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
We did some one on one NFLDB, some seven on
seven with the quarterbacks getting them ready.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
It was a good day. And I was on the
zoom with Earl Spence Junior and I should have been
on it. Man. It's just just slap myself.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
I mean I got to enjoy the time without TJ

you know, I just I.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Just I just laid it down. You dig it, you know,

know that nobody's man. I knew this. I knew who
Spence was and when he came out training with may
When Mayweather had got released from prison, he came out
training with Mayweather. Mayweather was like, man, this Aerol Spence
dude got me right. Like nobody knew who Earl Spence was.
Then I love boxing. I watch them from the very
(13:30):
beginning when they fighting on the undercart. Boxing is like
my sport. I was just a tweeterer. I'm too small
to be a heavyweight and I'm not losing thirty five
pounds to go fight.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
It like heavyweight and Cruiseways don't make enough money, right,

What you got, my guy?
Speaker 7 (15:47):
Right, you are calling calling your shot as it is.
We're gonna start with Victor Woman Yamasama, right, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Mean boy.
Speaker 7 (15:58):
We were really pronounced that name a lot this week,
didn't we a lot more than we thought we were
going to. He actually made his on court NBA Summer
League debut on Friday night is in San Antonio. Spurs
defeated the Charlotte Hornets seventy six to sixty eight. He
scored nine points in twenty seven minutes, just two out
of thirteen from the field, but he had eight rebounds,
(16:20):
three assists, and five block shots. Here's what Woman Yama
had to say to the media after his debut.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Can I finish my statement?
Speaker 5 (16:28):
So you'll be quiet now while I talk, and then
I'll listen to you.
Speaker 7 (16:32):
Wow, he's really been indoctrinated into the Spurs way impressive.
Here is what he actually had to say to the
media after his debut game, Yeah.
Speaker 8 (16:44):
We won this game, so that's th zo for us,
and uh yeah, you know, we just got to get
accumated to the kind of things didn't acclimate because it
was my first time. So next time, I'm a do
better and I'll keep you that you every time.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
I like the first one. I did too.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
I thought that was I really thought that was Hilly.
Speaker 7 (17:07):
Hey give him a give him two months into the season,
once he's been around Pop every day, he probably will
be like that anyway. Multiple outlet's report Philadelphia seventy six
ers restricted free agent forward Paul Reid signed a three year,
twenty three million dollar offer sheet with the Utah Jazz.
The Sixers have until midnight tomorrow to match. Free agent
forward Dario Sarich has agreed to a one year deal
with the Golden State Warriors. Baseball right now, the Yankees
(17:29):
a one nothing lead over the Cubs and the top
of the second ending on a home run by John
Carlos Stanton in the bottom of the first inning, his
eighth of the season. Finally, US women's soccer star and
two time World Cup champion Meghan Rapino announced today that
this upcoming World Cup will be her last and that
she will retire at the end of the year. Team
USA will kick off the World Cup two weeks from
today against Vietnam in New Zealand. LeVar all yours, Hey.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
Thank you sir. Enjoyed the rest of your weekend, I Loo,
you deserve it, my guy. All right, let's to this man,
Let's let's get to Red Butler.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Knowledge is about to be dropped on your hate.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yeah. I'm ready for a big stage.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Like an upper cut to the chest. Here's Red Butler
from Pretty Left Hook.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
Do you know when you hear that intro, the man
admits him the legend himself is going to be speaking
immediately after.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
We got our man, Rep.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
Butler from Pretty Left Hook up on Game Presents here
to continue the conversation surrounding the biggest fight maybe that
we've seen in what twenty years?
Speaker 1 (18:41):
My man Rep Butler from Pretty Left Hook? What's up?
Welcome into the show? RD.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
How you feeling man, man, We're feeling great. Boxing is
popping board. Not only is Terrence call for Narrol Spence
about to do that dance, but Canelo Alvoz is gonna fight.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Jamel Paula with the spur. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
I mean it's the best time right now in the game. Bro,
it's going down.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
God, you want to go TJ. Now we know we're
here for Spence and Crawford. What do you make of Canelo?
Some will say he's ducking Benavidez and you got Charlo
coming up too weight class. Oh, Charlo's bigger, he's taller.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
You know, he's a little.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
He's coming up to weight class. What do you make
of what Canelo has done? And people will say picking
and choosing his last few opponents.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
I think that Al Hayman is showing us that he's
a strategist. Yet again, behind the scenes, Puppetarian Canello got
a three fight deal one hundred million dollars. Let's let's
keep it real. This is the biggest mistake Osca dela
Hoya ever made. Canelo is now.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
For the streets.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
He's for everybody. He doesn't work with showtime. He's all
the way outside and he has three fights now with
TBC Premire Boxing Champions. But let's let's keep it real.
He I wanted to fight Jamal Charlo, who's more in
his weight class, but Jamal said he wasn't gonna be
ready until later. So he said, you know what, what
(20:08):
about the brother? The brother said, I'm about that action,
and he made it happen. Benevidez for sure, but I
think with a three fight deal, he's either looking to
get both Charlos and then Benevidez or Benavitez in the
middle park one of the two.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
Hmm, Okay, what does this mean for the weight class?
What does it mean for boxing for Charlo and Canelo? Like,
I'm assuming it's a hell of an upset and it's
great for something if Charlo wins, But what's the game
(20:47):
by Canelo taking this fight?
Speaker 4 (20:50):
You know, it's a few things. Number One, people love
to take shots at the guy on top of the
mountain of Canelo is still that guy, even though obviously
Tang Davis is having incredible ark and share in terms
of popularity. But what we know is that Canelo Alvarez
knows that on the PBC side of the street is
where all the big names are at. To TJ's point, Benavidez, right,
that's the one everybody wants to see, the Mexican monster.
(21:11):
But you also got the Charlo brothers who've also been
taking potshots to Canelo over the years. Canelo had to
go to PBC to get access to these guys, so
we know he wants Benavidez. Everybody said he he wouldn't,
he wouldn't go to PBC because that's where Benavidez lives
if he didn't want Benavidez. I just think, I just
think he realizes in the fight game, you got to
(21:33):
build up hope and the reality is, even though we
all want to act like boxing has a unilateral fan base,
it doesn't. People follow brands. This PBC is top ranked
as everything else, and he knows why not step into
the PBC thing with three fights by taking on what
he would consider to be an easier challenge in Jamel,
who's coming up two weight classes since his brother couldn't
fight him, and then he's into Benavidez, which will now
(21:56):
allow the bag to be heavier if he knocks off
the first on one or two.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
I mean, I find I find it interesting. I just
to me fight the best guys in your division. Canelo,
I mean, he he has a lot of fights, but
he is in a old fighter by age. But he's
an old fighter when when you look at the fights
and when he when he turned pro. But I get
it when when you're Canelo and you are the A
side against anybody you fight, you.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Can pick and choose.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Because they say, let's Spence come through this in spectacular fashion.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
He next for Canelo.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
So now you're gonna have a guy come up three
weight classes like you see what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
You see where this is going? TJ.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
I'm glad you said that because I got a SoundBite
from the interview I did with Earl Spitz Junior and
he's talking about that whole idea of making the fight
happen Ret and TJ. And it was it was originally
from from Budd's his his trainer, that that this fight
(22:59):
wasn't going to happen unless Bud stayed on the gas
and pressured uh Spence in his camp to do the
fight well, talking about Canelo and points and money and
compensation and how do you make the fight. Here's what
Earl Spence Junior had to say about making the fight
happen from his side.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
Of the story.
Speaker 5 (23:21):
So when I talked to them, the trainer basically said, look,
Bud made this fight.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Now.
Speaker 5 (23:29):
I don't know if you've seen it, but It was
basically like, Bud doesn't make this fight by staying on
the gas with with earl, it doesn't happen. Is that
is that? Is that how you see it? Or what
what's your take on it?
Speaker 9 (23:45):
How he made the fight? He dropped out to fight
to fight somebody else, and I stayed in fight.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
I waited and.
Speaker 9 (23:53):
Then even after the fight down reading the fight got
made because I get him a higher sentence. Then then
then what everybody thought he deserved. I gave him a
higher percentage, and that us me what a major fight
because I gave him a higher percenting what people didn't think,
not people, but the people that was you know in
(24:15):
the business that was with me thought I was wasn't
gonna do it. And I was like, just give you something.
So he went up five points and I went down
five points to give him ten points. So that's what
made the fight. It wasn't nothing he did and made
a fight. It was me telling them to get him
he where he needed give give giving them them points
(24:38):
so we can make the fight.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
So the same thing I said to to the to
the trainer, I'm gonna say this to you because it
sounds like the same exact thing I told him. You're
not pushing to get a fight done, standing on the
gas to get a fight done. If you think you're
gonna get your ass with, you're not giving up five points.
Five points. That's half, right, like that, that's half. You're
(25:00):
not giving up five more. You're not giving up five
of your points to make the fight happen. If you
think he coming in to whoop your ass, like, it's
just that. That ain't that's not good arithmetic. That's not
that's just not good math. So you clearly are confident
that I could give up this five points and I'm
gonna still be able to make maybe on the rematch,
maybe there's a bigger fight after this.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
You're clearly confident that you're gonna get this.
Speaker 9 (25:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, man, for sure. I mean it wouldn't know,
no doubt about it. That's why. That's why basically I
gave him the points. Like, man, you're giving a point
on why something? If he do want to remache, he
watched the end, but I don't think he's gonna do
the remach is you know, if I think it is
(25:46):
as as powerful his, you know, the the beating that
you know, I'm gonna give him. I don't things be
a rematch?
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (26:01):
And so I mean I always felt like Spence wanted
to make the fight.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Fighters want to fight.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
When Crawford did what he did, it was like, oh,
do we really want to fight? Oh yeah, Bud went
out of his way to make this fight. To me,
when you're the A side, which canelo? Is he making
Charlie move up to way classes? Is he meeting him
at one sixty four? Hell nin you come up to
one sixty eight? Can I get this percent of hell?
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Nw? You take this? Spence is the A side in
the Crawford fight.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
For him to give up five points, he means five
percentage points.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
That's a lot of money. He really want this fight.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
He's the one, at least in my opinion, that conceded
more than anything to make this fight happen.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
And it sounds like you agree with that.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Well, what I'll say is this, and I'm glad you
got that that SoundBite, bok, because there's so many storylines here.
Let's not forget Terence Crawford left top rank to get
this fight. Okay. I'm not saying that was the initial motivation,
because he was obviously mad at Bob aarm, but he
left Top Rank, which was his promoter his whole career,
so that set this off too. The only reason Terrece
(27:17):
Crawford quote unquote duck the first time in the negotiations
or was looking more difficult is because he on record
said he doesn't believe in pay per view anymore. That's
why he took the fight against David Abanessian on bok Prime,
which was a streaming network that paid him a flat rate.
He said, me and all my friends got fire sticks.
We don't buy pay per view. I don't want to
(27:37):
play myself on the money, especially if he's going to
have more pay per viewpoints than me. Then Eryl Spence
doubled down and was like, you know what, I don't
want to let the fans down because I said I
want to give them everything, and he conceded the points.
So to VA's two interviews, Yes, Bo Mack is correct.
Terris Crawford did a lot to put himself in position
(27:57):
to be right for this fight. But yeah, Eryal Spence
is accurate. He had to lose a little to gain
a lot, but he's that confident in himself. But the
storylines are deep here and it goes back a couple
months than just the negotiations for this fight.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
So this is gonna be a fight fight, right.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
Like The interesting thing about this one is they're both
laid back, so so the like the way that it's
not an abrasive approach to this fight. In terms of
listening to the way the fighters are speaking at the
at the press conferences, it's more or less kind of
they talking that they shooting their shot on what they
(28:34):
talking about. But it's not like, you know, they pushing
each other. Nobody's like I eat your children or anything
like that that's taking place. It just seems real low key,
real laid back, and it just it makes it difficult
to kind of like pinpoint who you think made Like,
you know, how you look at something you be like, yeah,
he wanted more. Like first time I'm looking, I'm like
(28:56):
looking at Bud, I'm like, Bud want this more. I
could like I'm looking in his eyes. It's like like
he ready to go right now. But you know, I'm
looking at Arrow and Arrow just seems like he's just
a super well polished professional that understands the fight game
and understands how to win in boxing. And that to me,
(29:16):
I don't know that sounds that sounds pretty dangerous to me.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
No, absolutely dangerous. And you want to know something, I mean,
at the end of the day, let's keep it real.
Errol Spence was pretty much hand picked by Floyd Mayweather
to be a sparm partner before he became retired. And also,
you know, guys have been saying that Errol Spence was
that guy at one forty seven for years, so it's
no surprise where he's at. He's never had to talk
trash to get where he's at. He's one of those
(29:41):
guys that was kind of put in positions and what
a match made really well under the banner that he's
now under, which is now called PBC. But the end
of the day, Terrence Crawford has always done the impossible
for his side. But not forget this man is now
chasing a second undisputed and everybody knows he hangs out
with Andrew Lords of course Stevenson, although she calls a
(30:01):
little younger and a little more feisty, these guys don't
really talk trash. He's a throwback fighters, especially Terrence. They
like their fist to do all the talking and they
know that people want to see it so bad, they
don't really have to go crazy at each other to
get it in. But everybody knows that Terrence corpor is
not really a trash talker. El Spence doesn't really have
to and I think that's the testament also the where
(30:22):
we're at in the game, they don't really have to
do too many shenan against to oversell this. But at
the same time, fireworks always will happen based on the
way they really feel. And I think we've seen what
we need to see smoking on Bud in terms of
what Erl Spence says about Bud and Bud saying he's
going to capture the big fish and file at him
and all that. That's pretty much what we're gonna get here.
But I will say that the intensity is there. Terrence
(30:44):
Corpord knows what this means for his career. He's the
consummate underdog from Nebraska. He's not from the top ten market.
He knows what this means. Errol Spence been there, you
know what I'm saying in terms of being at the
top of this game popularity wise, selling big pay per views,
selling out at and T Stadium. He knows what this means.
As well, because guess what, although he has the size
and he's the A side TJ, the odds makers have
(31:06):
him on the B side. Yeah, that has to hurt
his feelings because he knows all the attributes he has
and he brings him to that ring. That says a
lot to me, and that also gives me a lot
of confidence about Terrence's ability. And I'm gonna say it again,
I just think Terrence Corporate is half a step better.
I don't think this is gonna be a knockout situation.
Although anything can happen in a fight. I think it's
(31:27):
gonna be a hard twelve round and I'm looking for
a Gannadi Glocku Canelo type of fight where you have
two guys that wanted bad. One's gonna box a little
better and one's gonna slug it out. We know Arrow's
punch output is high. He's gonna be relentless. We know
Terrence knows how to evade and download information. It's a
chest match at the end of the day.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
Yeah, I mean both fighters are obviously the best two
fighters in their division and have been that way for
a while. I just I'm not sure that we've seen
somebody pressure on Crawford the way Spence will but put
the pressure on him and be so fundamentally sound with
his skills and his technique, like Sean Crawford puts the
(32:10):
pressure on you, but it's unorthodox.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
It's different.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Spence is coming at you, hands up and punch a
position at all times, defensively, sound at all times, and
he's not gonna let Crawford hold him.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Like you can.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Only move around that ring for so many rounds unless
you catching with some early. Eventually that fatigue is gonna
set in. You're gonna have to set your feet and
let's go.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
I like Spencing that if it gets to that. I
like Spencing that because this is what he does. When
we seeing Crawford, five guys that want to bring the pressure,
He's gonna hold Spence, ain't let in the mode.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
Yeah, I want to see if Spence can take the
body shops.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Though what's good for you is good for what's good
for you was good. That's what Spence does. He breaks
you down to the body. I mean we Crawford was
hurt by down boy Crawford. He was dropped by what's
buddy mean machine? Right, he was dropped we've never seen.
(33:18):
We've seen Spence stunned, but he wasn't dropped. They didn't
count that as a knockdown. But he was dropped.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
He was dropped. He got him in that last fight.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
But but Crawford, Crawford is a dog man like he
That's why this fight. If you pick Crawford, I picked Spence.
You we both can be right. There's no like what
you thinking. It's like it's a coin flip.
Speaker 5 (33:38):
That's it, all right, before we get up out of here,
rhtt and appreciate you coming on man. Red Butler from
Pretty Left Hook podcast. Check him out on up on
Game Presents. Check out his written content on up on
Game as well the up on Game Dot network. Talk
to me about Timothy Bradley. That's that's your latest your
latest article. Talk to me a little bit about because
(33:59):
I'm trying to understand why is he so hell bent
on parents not being a father's not being able to
train their kids.
Speaker 4 (34:06):
Yeah, man, it's kind of crazy. It's all about Tafi
Mo Lopez. You know, for the longest people have criticized
tiafim Mo Lopez Senior, which is the son's father, the
trainer as well as the manager about, you know, being
kind of overbearing and that's affecting his career. We've seen
that taf Molpez Junior has had bout with depression. He
kind of gets a little nutty in the media. And
(34:28):
Tim Bradley feels that the fathers at some point start
doing a little too much because they're financially dependent on
their sons and that affects the athleticism that the sons
can do. And he thinks that tiaf Mo Lopez's retirement
after a brilliant performance against Josh Taylor in Madison Square
Garden is a perfect example, because why when you're on
the top after losing the Campbosos and watching everybody kind
(34:50):
of look at you as you know, formerly as champion
from when you you know, from when you beat Lomachenko
and that was like your greatest glory. You come back
to get to Josh Taylor beat him in America and
then you retire Immediately. People feel like Malopez Senior was
the result of that. And Tim Bradley specifically believes that
the boxing dynamic of father son trainers and managers is
(35:10):
just run its course and ironic. It's ironic because Tim
Bradley is the product of a father trained him, right,
but he was his second trainer, right, he wasn't his primary.
Suppo's put that out there. So Bradley had Teddy Atlas,
you know Joel Garcia as well. I mean Joel did
excuse me as well. But at the end of the day,
Tim Bradley's making a case that Box needs to re
examine the family relationships and all of that. And I
(35:32):
just think it's two time honored you and didn't Ward
his dad?
Speaker 5 (35:35):
Didn't Ward have his dad with him? And war Floyd did?
Floyd did Lloyd?
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Who else? There's another? There's another, There's another.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
One, Sean Porter, Kenny Porter, the.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Vargas Vargas family, well, Fernando Vargas is training his sons.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Now.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
I mean, I can't see how that, like all them,
people are not financially dependent upon their kids to make money.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
I'm let's be clear here.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
I think that that there's a hole and there's a
you can punch holes into that that discussion point, right.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
I mean, I'm a paragra. I coach my kid. I don't.
I don't.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
I don't ever feel as though I'm doing anything outside
of the parameters in the realm of of just giving
him his opportunity to grow, make it his his deal,
but give him equip him with what he needs in
order to be successful. Nobody is going to care more
about you than your your dad, Like I don't.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
I don't get that. I don't get that.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
That's the family traumas going on in there, in the
Lotez family specifically, And I think that Tim Bradley. Bradley
has a pension to, you know, just to say what
he feels raw and una bashed, and I think that's
probably why he made the cut with the ESPN layoffs,
respectfully because he's still on air. But I think at
the end of the day, you know, is like a
new case study in terms of boxing. I think I
(36:57):
think a lot of it has to do with suppression,
you know, getting divorced recently, has a lot going on
in terms of custody with his kids, So there's a
lot of other things mixed in with this. But I
think Tim Bradley points to one thing. But I also
Tim Bradley is just always aggravated with the game in general,
so I take what he says with a grain of salt.
But he does bring up a point because he's an insider,
and he had his dad adjacent to him his whole career,
(37:19):
So I don't want to disrespect his opinion and his
outlook because he is a former World champions.
Speaker 5 (37:23):
That is Rhett Butler of Pretty Left Hook podcast. Make
sure you check out his content on Obviously up on
Game Network. Make sure you check him out on the

Not not super impressive, but you know, not not a
letdown either. Just you know you're looking for Lebron every

Speaker 1 (39:55):
