Second Hour Plex And this isn't on the agenda, but
(01:29):
I've been reading about this, and I just want to
talk about this. This is not on a rundown. So
we just kind of we're gonna add lib real quick
and go off on another tangent. And we've talked about this,
but we're not on you know, during the week, and
so this gets talked about a lot on television and
(01:50):
on talk show radio and things of that nature. And so,
but I don't listen to other things accept ours and
people that I'm cool with, so I don't really hear others' opinions.
It's kind of bothering me that the PAC ten that
I played in in the PAC twelve that exists now
will no longer be. And when you start reading things
(02:13):
and you look at and say USC and UCLA leave
to go to the Big ten. And ESPN still offered
the PAC twelve thirty million dollars a year per team.
You got incompetent people that's running the conference that say, nah, nah, nah,
(02:34):
that's not enough. We don't want that. We're not taking
thirty million per teen. We want fifty million per team
because you got team presidents, and you got all these
guys that are in charge that have great education and
great degrees on paper, but they lack one thing, and
that's common sense. Because common sense is I guess it
(02:54):
isn't always common is what they say. Because you've led
a conference literally die because you don't understand the landscape
of what's going on. And all these moves are being
made for two reasons. Football and money. Football and money.
That's it. So the days of and the reason I'm
(03:15):
talking about this because I was just reading a story
of how the NCAA keeps denying guys hardship waivers to play.
Kid transfers in Florida to be close to his mom
because she's sick. They deny him he can't play. You
only get one time transfer. After that, you got to
man the NCAA and the people that run it. They crooks,
(03:39):
the PAC twelve, the people that run it, they don't
know what theyre doing. It's never been student athlete. It's
always been about how can we make as much money?
Because if it's really the student athlete, the softball team,
the soccer team, the non revenue sports. What happens when
(04:01):
they have to fly across the country and they don't
get a charter flight like we get playing football plays,
They don't get that they fly commercial. What happened if
it's bad weather and they still get canceled? What happens
if they can't make it to school? Are they still
do you care about the student athlete in and so
I just gone off into a long tangent of list
(04:23):
of things that I don't like. But your take on
the NCAA, the PAC twelve collapsing, because I believe it
was incompetent. I truly believe. When SC and UCLA leave
and you still get thirty million per team offering, you
turn that down. How did you get in a position
you were in if you can't read the room and
you're not smart enough to understand the landscape of your conference,
(04:46):
When you have the augurably one of the top programs
in the country USC leaving, you still turn that down? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Man, you know we spoke on this, I believe last week,
called the last week or the last few weeks before.
But you're right, man, it's all about money. It has
nothing to do with the athletes at all. And you know,
just you know, doing the research of you know what
I've been reading, it's basically like the California Border Regions
is basically trying to force UCLA to stand and pack ten.
(05:21):
But the Big Ten has offered UCLA, I believe, sixty
two million dollars in a media rights deal. So I
think that's one one of the biggest main reasons why
they live. Yeah, but they're saying that the travel for
USC and UCLA is going to cost them north of
(05:41):
ten to twelve million dollars just for the season for travel,
because that was one of the first things that I
said to myself and I spoke on it last week,
is like, they're going to let be traveling across country
every other week.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Plex what about what about the basketball teams and the
soccer teams in the softball teams? We like, what other sports?
What about the what about those sports?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I know, man traveling from from Michigan to California or
vice versa for women's lacrosse or saftball or whatever.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
The case may be.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
I mean, that's a lot, you know, if you're talking
about I don't know how many how many teammates are
on a volleyball roster. But I'm to think I'm saying,
what maybe eleven twelvelleyball go traveling all across the country
just to play a game. You know, these conferences were
(06:37):
pretty much put together based on proximity to the other universities,
and now that has completely went out of the window.
I mean, if I'm a kid in college and I'm
you know, I'm going to Rutgers or and I got
to travel to you know, U U c l A
or US he to travel to play a football.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Game New York to California.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
If you're a a player on USC oh U c
l A, like that trip gets.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Do you on for a Jersey to California? Right?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
And they're going to be doing it every other weekend.
And I think it's unfair to the kids. I really do.
And I think that's what I think. That's why you're
going to see a drop off in tremendous drop off
as far as U c l A and USC getting
recruits just basically because of that main reason.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Yeah, I just wanted to get that off because I'm
just I'm reading on it and I'm like, these dudes
have so much education. These dudes I talk about the
guys running PAC twelve. But where's the common sense at?
Where's it at? I don't see it, but I just
wanted to get that off my chest. But I really
feel for the non revenue generating sports, the volleyballs, the golfs,
(07:53):
the soft balls, the soccers, the lacrosse. What about those guys,
because they not flying charter at least not every trip
football charter. Just a football team is on that plane.
The football team players and the coaches and the trainers.
That's it. But the rest of those teams they on
they on the flight with regular people. Yeah, they so
(08:15):
through the airport. But it's about the student athlete and
the NCAA, like you can't step in and put your
foot down. You took Reggie buch Heisman for no reason,
like really, like like the way they do things just
blows my mind. But these people supposed to be smart.
They're supposed to be smart. But I'm sorry I just
(08:37):
went off into that. Let's get back to the NFL.
Sorry guys, Sorry, sorry, sorry, Let's get back to the
NFL's back then. Yeah, man, because it's like high school
high school football started U last night out here for
us man, Uh it was it was good man, just
to see these kids out here. Many they work, the
(08:59):
kids that are esh men that are playing varsity, just
to pursue your dreams. And now it's it's not I
mean for your son. I'm sure it's like another year.
We better now when we worked on this all summer.
So now let's see how we can do. And so
that was just on my mom because it's these kids
go to school with the thought, Okay, my parents, my friends,
(09:22):
my family, they can watch me. If they wanted to
drive from California to Arizona, you can do that twice.
You watching all home games. Now you wanted to drive
from southern California to northern California, you could do that.
You can't do these things anymore. And so it's just
kind of like you take Peter Warick, he don't win
(09:45):
the Heisman because he got some clothes from Macy's, like
really like it's just like all this stuff that we're
playing and that, like you see what's going on. It's like, wow,
go give Peter Warrick is how give him the Heisman
trophy that he should have won to him because he
would have won. He is the best player in college football.
Give it to him. Give Reggie Bush his heightsman back
give it to him, like, what are they doing knowing
(10:08):
they've been corrupt this whole time, but taking it out
on kids and the player and the athlete that you
supposedly cared about. But now you don't care about him
at least, that's what it seems like to me. Sorry again,
Now the preseasons. B Jon Robinson, he was the first
running back drafted, and everybody says, oh, you can't draft
(10:30):
running backs hot. You've seen We've seen two going to
tap ten. Then this year's drafting b Jon Robinson and
Jamior Gibbs. But that first carry for bj it's the preseason.
It's the preseason. But man, he looked good with a
line of falcons. Man, he that got got in the hole,
made a guy miss in tight space, got a first down,
(10:50):
toy yards, made a one hand catch on the screen.
The man, he looked like he gonna be the real deal.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Your impressions, Man, I liked him when he was at Texas,
First team All American, extremely explosive, fast, strong at the
point of attack, and he's just one of those players. Man,
you just give him the ball and you just watch
him go to work. You know even though he is
playing in Atlanta, but he still will be featured in
(11:17):
this offense alongside Rhoda. I think those are two guys
that you can continue to build to build with.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
The Falcons are quietly plexico if you look at their
skill positions. You got Drake London six ' five, you
got Kyle Pitts six ' six, you got Desmond Redder
second year quarterback, you got b John Robinson. You have
an opportunity with those skill guys to do work.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Yeah, you do. I mean it's the NFC South. I
just think that you know, between the Carolina Panthers and
the Atlanta Falcons, that those two teams will be basically
competing for last place the division. I mean, I just
think that the New Orleans Saints will be one in
the Tampa Bay will be two.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
You know, you just don't know what Baker Mayfield you're
going to get.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
I'm sure about your one after that. I have no idea, right.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
So it's going to be a rebuilding year for both
the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers, I believe. But
you're right, man, they do have a lot of weapons offensively.
I think Pence is going to continue to get better.
Rid of you know, he started a few games last year.
I think we're going to get a real good look
at him to see how good he can can really
(12:35):
be moving forward, Like you said, they have Drake and
now you add an explosive back and be Jon Robinson,
and I just think that, uh, the Atlanta Falcons are
moving and sending in the right direction for the first
time in the last you know, four or five years.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
So kudos of those guys. If that's been Ridder can
and play the position. I mean, he doesn't have to
be great. If he's great, obviously they're going to be
a great team if he can be good. The Falcons
have an opportunity to really be a team ascending every
(13:20):
year because their best players are young. Kyle Pitt's going
into a third year, Drake London going into a second year,
Desmond Ritter going into a second year, b Jhon Robinson
as a rookie. But you know, when you're running back,
a lot of times, the guys are a special They
come right in and make an impact. It's can this
offensive line protect and they have some good offensive lineman
(13:42):
It's not like they start from scratch. They got some
lineman that can play defensively, can they can? They just
slow teams down. I really like the Falcons. If Desmond
Ritter takes that up that he should in his second year,
they have it. They have a chance to be a
(14:04):
special team. But b Jhon Robinson, the moves that he
made in tight spaces on that first carry, that one
hand catch, this kid gonna be something special. He's gonna
be something special. And maybe with him himself and Jamier
Gibbs being drafted in the first round, maybe the perception
(14:26):
of these running backs change. Maybe you just got to
be special. You can't just be a good back. You
got to be special. And eventually that market and that
tide will turn, and maybe these two guys can be
the two to get that going. We don't know. It
remains to be seen, but we must take a break
and we'll be right back up on game Fox Sports Radio. Y'all.
(14:51):
Make sure y'all stay locked in, talk a little a
little more NFL Dalvin Cook signing with the Jets, Green

(16:56):
the Jet says Aaron Rodgers led me here, and I'm
not gonna I was so shocked that it took so long.
When Aaron Rodgers took that pay cut, I said, oh,
Dalvin Cook is signing with the Jets in a couple
of days. It didn't happen as fast as I thought
it would. I just thought it was a four gun conclusion,
but it still happened, Dalvin Cook saying Aaron Rodgers led
(17:19):
him there. Do you believe that Aaron Rodgers, much like
Tom Brady and yours past guys, is just wanted to
come play with him because one you think you can
win and gives you an opportunity to get a Super Bowl?
Or could it just be it was the best off
for the Dalvin Cook had.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
I think it's a little bit of both. I think
it's the best offer that he had. You know, I
was thinking that maybe he would end up him doubted,
so maybe back home with the Miami Dolphins. And I'm
just looking at him, you know, fitting into all three
of these puzzles, and obviously to just makes sense because
I mean, if you have the opportunity to play with
the Aaron Rodgers, who was arguably, you know, one of
(17:57):
the best quarterbacks played first bell of the Hall of
Famer for a time MVP World champion, you look at
you look at uh, you know, to what he has
been able to bring, you know, to the team, everybody
wants to go there. And I think with his offense,
or Garrett Wilson and now you have Alan Azol, you
(18:17):
have a Randall cab Uh. Breece Hall is coming off
of ACL so he'll probably you know, be available later
in the season. But I think it's the best thing
for Dalvin Cook and the New York Jets to add
him to the rosters because you know, you just don't
know how healthy that Breece Hall is going to be,
you know, this year moving forward. But listen, if I'm
a wide receiver and if I'm a running back, who
(18:40):
wouldn't want to play with Aaron Rodgers. But I just
think from a from a defensive standpoint, uh schematically, you
know what he does to that offense. He doesn't allow you,
uh you know, Aaron Rodgers to put that eighth man
in the box because people are going to be afraid
to blitz him, especially with some of the young talent
(19:01):
that he has in these position. And also for Dalvin Cook,
now you're looking at you know, six and seven man fronts,
you know, moving forward and no longer that eighth man
in the box. So I just think offensively for the Jets,
it makes it makes the most sense. And I think
he just you know, made that offense a little bit
more better.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Yeah, you hate to say this, man, you hate to
kind of put this pressure on them, but the Jets
have a roster that it's like, wow, now you say
I say that, and it's like that offensive line must
put same discussion we had with the Carolina Panthers and
bryce young offensive line got to be better. And that
(19:46):
to me will be the key or the lack of
a key to the success that the Jets may or
may not have is can this offensive line with the
New York Jets? Can they do what they're supposed to do?
And this is why football is a ultimate team sport. Man.
You got Aaron Rodgers, one of the greatest quarterbacks to
(20:07):
ever play. You got Dalvin Cook, one of the best
backs in the league, and Brest Hall was showing himself
to be one of the better young backs in the
league before he tores acl last season. You got one
of the best young receivers in Garrett Wilson. You have
a top five defense, and everybody that's a main player
on this team for the most part, is a young
(20:28):
guy before Aaron Rodgers arrives. So the Jets have the
makings of being a really good team. And the only
if is Kenni's offensive line do their job. Can they
hold up their end of the bargain? And it's eleven
on eleven man. Ten guys do their job really really good.
(20:51):
That eleventh guy don't do his job. The play don't work.
The play doesn't work, and it's really great. This is
how football works. Offensive line blocks well, quarterback makes a
great throw. I dropped the ball. Everybody did their job,
but me right I get open, I'm wide open, quarterback
(21:12):
makes a good throw, offensive line misses a block, the
quarterback kind of gets hit a little bit, so that
great throw that should have been made now it doesn't work.
Or the offensive line protects. Will I run a great route,
quarterback is ready to give me a good ball, running
back misses the protection, it doesn't work. And so I
say that to say that you can have all of that,
(21:34):
But if those guys up front aren't protecting or for
one of the five, it doesn't matter. So what has
been happening in the preseason and then practice is reported
is the offensive line needs to be better. Well, all
these skilled guys and all these shiny toys that the
Jets have, it doesn't matter if those guys up front
(21:54):
don't protect games. I know the game with football, at
least I like to think I know the game football.
Games are one of lost up front, right offensive line,
defensive line. If you can win the battle up front
on both sides of the ball, you are in every game.
And so game we get all the glory, we score
the touchdowns the court, well, the quarterbacks get all the glory.
(22:17):
We're after them. When I say we the skill guys,
But if you got to be able to control the
trenchs plex. Yeah, I'll say this moving forward. Man.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
You know this new NFL generation of none of the
starters who playing the preseason, which I don't agree with.
I believe that you need some play during the preseason
getting ready for the regular season. I just don't think
that you just practice and helmets and shoulder pass all
(22:47):
training camp. You don't get any preseason reps, and you
expect these guys to be dynamic on Week one of
the regular seasons. That just doesn't happen. As you notice, though,
it's the young, it's the young. It's that new wave
of young coaches, right that have kind of ushered that
we not playing in the preseason end. They busted this
(23:08):
in the Sean mcvains, the Brandon Staley's, the Zach Taylor's,
these dudes, these young coaches, the old school coaches, the
Andy Reids, the Belichicks, the McDermott's, the Hardballs.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
The Tomlins, they're still playing. They still playing. So it's
that new it's that young coach that they feel like
it you don't got to play the preseason.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
We were not taking that chance, especially when you're New York. Jesson,
you insert a new quarterback. I don't care if it
is Anon Rodgers. He still needs those games with those
new wide receivers who is going to be playing with
And that offensive line needs to they need to get
out of reps state that they possibly can uh so
so they can get a time of timmy uh in
(23:50):
their mind based off of you know, how quick is
Aaron Rodgers is going to get rid of the football?
How long do I need to block you know in
those situations? And tz you said so that it just
reminded me. It said, all you know, eleven players working together,
and the office a line for the Jets is the
only team, is the only group that can ruin this
for this offense moving forward, because if they don't protect them,
(24:13):
it's going to be the most glaring thing in this
office because Aaron Roders thirty eight not twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
He don't move the way that it used to. And
going back to what you.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Were saying, you know, Jay, you say, uh, you know,
the office of line protects quarterback makes a throw and
you dropped the football. And you know every time I
dropped the ball, man, I would come back to the
huddles on my office A line my bad. I was
like yo oh fellas my bad I said, yo man,
I messed that up. And Alan Fahnika Man, who I
love man, probably one of the best officer line that
(24:45):
I ever played with in my life.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
And he would always scream at top as lung. He said,
don't worry about that next.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Play, and he would always just be focused on the
next play, not what happened in the previous one.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
And it made it made you and that's why he
was a dog though. Alan Fanniku was an animal.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Yeah, and he would always say, don't worry about the
next play, and it just made you, you know, put
that behind you and move on to the next play,
just like he was saying. And it made you want
to work harder for those guys because they knew that,
you know what I'm saying, what happened to last play
don't matter. The next play is what matters. And that's
why you love guys like Alan Fannigel Man just for
(25:26):
that reason.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Ain't nothing like it. And you you speak of like
playing in the preseason. So I yesterday I went to
the Saints and Chargers practice and I was talking to
Cam Jordan and the playing in the preseason came up
and he was like, you know da, that's Dennis Allen
told me I'm playing. Uh when they played the Chiefs
and he was like, Mahomes is gonna go, so you
(25:48):
gonna go. And he was like, I was excited, like
I wanted to play in the preseason because if Mahomes
is playing, I want to play. But when Mahomes went out,
he was like, Okay, I thought Mahomes is out the
game now, so I'm out the game. And he was like,
Mahomes went out and I was still in, so I'm
going up. Dennis all I'm like, coach you up. He's like,
you got one more serious. He was like, you said
(26:10):
I was playing because Mahomes was playing. Now he out,
so I should be out. And so your best players
want to play. If the other team's best players are playing,
but the other team's best players are playing, it's hard
to get up for that. And when he said that
to me, he was like he was excited to play
because Mahomes was playing. But he said, I swear when
(26:30):
I saw Mahomes wasn't in the game, I was like,
I'm done and they were like, nah, you got another series,
and I was He was like, I didn't want to
play that, and so I get that perspective of it,
but the NFL man and playing football is nothing like it.
Enjoy it? Why you can AlOH, I'm sorry, we keep
(26:51):
going past trending Isaac lowncrime. We must talk to our
guy for trending.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
The FLA is a very unusual story and it involves
the same TMZ reported today that New Orleans tight end
Jimmy Graham was arrested last night in southern California on
suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance
and resisting a police officer. TMZ says this occurred after
he was spotted wandering in traffic. Shortly after the TMZ report, yeah,
(27:20):
the Saints released a statements saying that Graham experienced a
medical episode last night, which resulted in him becoming disoriented.
The Saints Saint Graham was then taken into custody by
local authorities and transported to a hospital for evaluation, the
Saints adding that their team physician believes that Graham likely
(27:41):
experienced a seizure. Graham was released from the hospital this morning.
The Saints presently scheduled to play a preseason game against
the Los Angeles Chargers tomorrow. A preseason game going on
right now at Ford Field in Detroit. The Jacksonville Jaguar
is a three to nothing lead over the Lions at
the five to twenty six mark of the first order.
Teddy Bridgewater getting the started quarterback for the Lions. CJ.
(28:04):
Bethard starting for the Jacksonville Jaguars. One Major League Baseball
game going on right now. Luis Ourrias of the Boston
Red Sox just hit a grand slam at Yankee Stadium,
so the Red Sox have a four to nothing lead
over the Yankees. In the top half of the second inning,
as Urias hit the grand slam off of Garrett Cole.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
Back to you, fellas, Yeah, man, I hope that Jimmy
Graham situation works out. That's kind of crazy, man, just
being at the practice yesterday, seeing those guys get after
it and that to happen. So whatever he's going through,
let's let's hope that that he's gonna be okay. We
don't know. I'm not gonna speculate on what happened what
(28:45):
didn't happen. Speaking of offensive lineman that we were speaking
talking about earlier, Oh, Aaron Rodgers needs help. He needs,
he needs help to just need to make a trade.
And I heard the name David Back come up, and
Packers GM is like, nah nah nah nah. We we
(29:05):
not in the business of helping make Aaron Rodgers greater
than what he is. We not trading Bochdri to the
Jets or nobody for that matter. And so to me,
if I'm a part of the Green Bay Packers and
somebody makes me an offer that is beneficial to the
team for backd Bocdri can go. I mean, nobody wants
(29:29):
to say this, but the Green Bay Packers aren't Super
Bowl contenders. If you can get assets for a guy
that has had a ton of injuries the last few years,
makes a lot of money and they can make and
these assets can make your team better in the future.
You gotta look at it to just assure the fans
that he's going nowhere. You make me a good offer,
(29:51):
he can go.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Man, everybody knows that bach Tiari and Aaron Rodgers were
like best friends. They had a great relationship while they
were in Green Bay. It would not surprise me if
he ended up for the New York Jets playing left
tackle next year. Really, Oh yes, really, wow, that's his
way out to be reunited with this guy. And if
(30:14):
Annon Rodgers walks up suns and he tells with the
Johnson and robertsonalard that he wants his his pro Bowl
left tackle to join him, I believe that they will
make it happen.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
That that's like, what assets do they have you would assume?
I don't know if the Packers would want mackay back
then as part of the deal, But what what would
they have to give up? They wouldn't want him in
They wouldn't want him in the deal back would move
to the right tackle. No, I'm saying packers want him
(30:46):
in the deal for Bakdi? What do you give up
to get back? I don't know his salary? What what
are you giving up? If you're the Packers, what would
you want?
Speaker 2 (30:57):
I mean, the New York just are basically on a
tour of three year playing with Aaron Rodgers. Their goal
is to hopefully, you know, hoist the Lombardi Trophy within
the next three years. So with that being said, maybe
the Green Bay Packers off up for a number two
pick in the draft or whatever the case may be.
But make no mistink about it, back Tier, I don't
(31:19):
believe no longer wants to be in Green Bay, being
that his Hall of Fame quarterback has has departed.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Yeah, I don't see the Packers trading them just because
you number one, you trade him to the Jets. It's like, oh,
you really want Aaron Rodgers to be great, like you're
gonna see. I don't see that happening. But I do
get what you're saying that. I believe there's a part
of Baktiari that is saying to his friends and family
(31:48):
and it's close. Look, I would like to get the
new I really do believe that he sees that when
you when you've been a good player in the league,
and and you've been on good teams, and now you
see we aren't what we used to be.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Close, you don't want to You are arguably the worst
team in the division. And he sees that the writing
is on the wall. They are no longer contending to
win the World Championship with the departure of Aaron Rodgers.
And he is the left he's the starting left tack
of for this team. And he is looking at Jordan
Love every day and he's looking at this defense and say,
(32:26):
you know what, it's time for me to get the
hell out of here. Now he's going in nine, we
are nine or ten. And as long as you're play
in this league, you are trying to get to the
pinnacle of the sport, and that is the Super Bowl
or maybe to compete to win one. And Green Bay
right now is not that place. So if he requests
(32:50):
the trade or whatever the case may be, I do
not believe that next after this season, he will be
a green Bay Packer. He might not be with the
New York Jets, but he'll be somewhere else in Green Bay.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Yeah, you know, and when things like this come out,
it's a little smoke. It gotta be a fire, like
who's putting this out? Like, who's putting this out there?
As far as Bakdi could possibly be moved, is it
his people just to get to get fillers out? And
I mean he's still young when when you look at it,
(33:24):
he turn he'll turn thirty one, I believe, just after
the start of the season. But it's almost as if
somebody on his side is putting this out there, saying,
let's put some fillers out and se see what can happen.
If the Jets get him, it's over the Jets get back,
(33:45):
dri it's over. And if I'm the Jets, you rarely
see And that's the thing about the NFL. Man you
don't really see top flight offensive linemen get traded. We
saw with Trent Williams, but that was more of a
he didn't like how his health situation was handled with Washington,
so they sent him to the Niners. But outside of that,
(34:05):
you never really see top flight offensive lineman traded. You'll
see some receivers, you'll see corners, quarterback, but I can't
recall seeing a really good offensive lineman being traded just
because oh, we're out of it. We're not gonna have
a good season list trading. If that does happen the Jets,
(34:26):
the Jets season that went from, I don't know, because
the offensive line does not look good with the Jets,
and it's early. It's early in training camp, the season
is yet to start. Makai Beckton, who they drafted in
the first round, I mean roberts Ala, like Bro, you
got to be able to play multiple snaps in a row,
Like you can't play four or five snaps to say
I gotta come out the game. This ain't a receiver.
(34:46):
We run a go route, we top our helm, and
we come out like, Bro, you got to play the
whole game. I'm tired bof It's so I don't know
what's going on. If he's heard or he just he
has that anxiety. If I just can't play anytime he
feels something, I gotta come out the game. Like you both,
you always gonna feel some type of ailment playing football.
(35:09):
It is what it is like. You're banging each other.
The pause to the physical contact and get just the
the violence that the game is played with. This ain't college, nah,
And so he's gonna have to figure that out. But uh,
(35:32):
if they if the Jets can get back to YOURII
that would be good for them. Who knows if if
I'm the Packers, though, there's just no way that I
can do that. There's no way. I'm sorry. I can't
do that. I can't I can't send them to the Jets.
I'm sorry, I just can't do it. Who knows, No,
I can't do it, no way know how. And my
(35:55):
Rob Parker voice that just I can't do that. So
let's see what happens. Man. The show is going by
really really fast. We gotta take a break and we
come back, we gonna get into man. I don't think
we've seen anything like him, not in our lifetime. We'll
(36:17):
touch on that when we come back. Fox Sports Radio
Up on Game, Plaxico burs I'm TJ. Houshanzada will be

a lot of time, but we just listened to was show, Hey,
Otani hits a grand Slam, Angels turn a triple play
and they still lose nine to six. Old tany is
he's a he's playing at a level that we've never
seen in our lifetime, never hitting home runs, driving in runs,
(37:55):
being one of the best pictures in baseball. We just
have never seen a guy do what he's doing on
both sides, pitching and hitting. It. We just never seen
it generational. And when I say generation I'm talking about
once in a hundred years type of player. I believe
(38:16):
he'll just trans transition from right on down the freeway
from the four O five to the one team. He
gonna lead the Angels and come on from the five.
He gonna lead the Angels and come to the Dodgers.
But your thoughts on Otani and the way he's playing
and the way he's played the last couple of years
is something we've never seen.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
I mean, when I first started following this guy a
couple of years ago, I'm saying to myself, all right,
you know this guy, he's hit a couple of home runs.
He's a picture, okay, and then you started you start
to you know, to really hold in on what he's doing.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
He said, wait a minute, this is not normal.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
This guy's leading the league in home runs, I believe
with Julio Rodriguez from the serial The Manners.
Speaker 3 (38:57):
And matt Olsen. Matt Olsen too from Uh the Picture.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
He's hitting home runs and you're saying to yourself, this
man did this what he hit a grand slam? They
still lose the game, and he's a picture. I think
that he just has that advantage in the battles box
because he's a picture and he knows exactly what the
picture is when it comes out of the picture's hand,
because he's a picture. And to sit back and watch
(39:25):
this career that he is putting together in front of
us and everybody saying, wait a minute. We thought Babe
Ruth was, you know, a pretty good player being a
picture and you know, hitting home runs. But at this rate,
if he keeps this up for the next few years,
we may be talking about him, you know, being one
(39:46):
of the greatest baseball players in all time. And note
that Mike Trump is still on his team, know right,
and nobody's not even talking about Trout. They talking about
old Tony. So man, congrats to him. Man, he's a
joy to watch and uh, we just want to see
him continue to do great things. Man.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
Man, we want to see him in the postseason. And
the only way that's gonna happen is to come play
with the Dodgers. That's what's gonna We want to see
him in the postseason. San Diego Padres Statman a man.
All the money they don't paying those guys in the
way they underperform. Man, it ain't gonna happen. But up
on game Fox Sports Radio. We'll be back next Saturday.
Plexico Burris TJ. Houshin's Out of LaVar will be with us.
