(02:36):
you always feel super safe when you got the super
slow one back there doing our trendings, Big David G
appreciate you, guys. Man. Uh, let's jump straight to it
because obviously we do run out of time very quickly
in our conversations. A very big trade took place this week.
Some would say it was massive, monumental. Uh. Someone decided

(02:59):
to take their talents away from the nation's capital and
come out to Sunny l A where it all started.
Uh we're talking about Russ Westbrook. He decides to to
come here. Well, you know, they brought him in. Uh,
this was a trade and now he joins a team

(03:20):
uh with a d Anthony Davis and of course the
great one Lebron James. In that trade, they lose, Horrel.
They they lose or excuse me, Harold, Uh, they also
lose uh your boy Kuzma and uh yeah KCP alright,
that's Lebron boy to Yeah, I mean, and he was

(03:43):
a good dude, Like I liked him for the team,
but we clearly knew coming out of this playoffs season
he was not going to be the guy that gets
them to the next level. All right, But the text,
you know, when this whole thing was going on, that
the whole team would be you did say it re

(04:05):
you know, revamped. You did one basketball season, so you
did say, hey, that is what happened when you don't
do what you're supposed to do when you're a member
of the lolsh ange. His Lakers does the expectations they
won the championship and revamped it an expectation. They only
want championships And for the rest of it, I'm sleep

(04:26):
t J. Keep talking, t J. What you take on
that just makes them the clear favorite. For it doesn't
make them the clear favorite. The Lakers need three shooting
sting and what it does do, though, well, it will
get Lebron off the ball. I don't know if that's

(04:47):
a good thing, because Lebron is ball dominant and he
does get others involved. And so Russ is ball dominant
and he gets others involved. But you have to have
shooters with both for those guys on the floor, or
what are you what are they just gonna collapse in
the paint and the shooters gonna be wilde open And

(05:08):
we the Lakers have shown this playoff we could not
hit a three point shot against the Phoenix un And
that's the point. That is the point. It helps them
from the perspective of but you don't have to they
have they have another playmaker that can create his own shot,
that can get others involved. But the Lakers need shooting.

(05:31):
They're gonna have to address they need shooting. Reggie Bullocks
that was already what the Lakers and they let him go.
They have to address the lack of shooting that they
have on his team. It's simple. What's the kid's name? Healed?
I would not be surprised if they end up bringing
him in. They it's impossible. They don't have they don't

(05:54):
have the assets, they don't have first round picks, nor
the players. It's impossible. Know that it's impossible, But don't
three point shoot? Over his years? Man, over his career,
I think he's the fastest to like, I don't know,
what is it, two or three thousand three pointers in
his career, but he gets he doesn't He really doesn't
get the attention because he's playing in Sacramento. But back
to this whole Russell Westbrook thing and bringing him to

(06:15):
l A. I mean, how many Hall of famers do
we need to win a championship? I mean, Lebron went
down to South Beach. You have teamed up with d
Wade and and and Chris Bosh, So now you have
three Hall of famers on the team. Again, which Anthony
Davids will be a Hall of Fame I'm I'm I'm
saying Lebron and and we all know that Russell Westbrook
is gonna be They had a three point shooter, they

(06:36):
had a couple three point This isn't the Laker's first
time having a ton of quote unquote hall of famers. Mean,
we had Kobe, we had Shock, we had Gary Payton,
we had Karl Malone. What what you need shooters? Shooters?
Russell is a is an alpha mentality. We we understand
that along with Lebron James. What I don't understand you

(07:00):
bringing Rustle west Brook. He's one of those guys where
you know, he gets his points basically off of getting
to the whole. So it doesn't create any space for
the Lakers offensively. What is the Brian gonna do run
to the run through the three point line and start
taking shots when Russell Westbrook is driving to the lane.
It doesn't make sense to me. They have to bring
in somebody else that can shoot the basketball, because clearly

(07:21):
that is the achiller here, That is the Achilles Hills
of the Lakers, is that they can't make jump shots.
You bringing Russell Westbrook, granted, you know, he has the
most you know, triple doubles in NBA history. He's completely
one of the most underrated players of all time and
in my book, but I don't really think that he

(07:41):
makes the lausch Angeles Lakers a better basketball team. That
I don't understand. I have to disagree anybody. I think
any team he goes to he's gonna make him a
better team. Just look, now, okay, let this is two folded.
You at the Washington Wizards last year, No question, Russell

(08:06):
west back, he put him on his back and got
him into the playoffs. It's just when you get would
go there, No, Bill is the guy. Bill is a dude,
and he was definitely right. He was definitely right there
that here and tell me that Russell Westbrook put the
Washington Wizzards on his back. He did the playoffs. If

(08:30):
we don't know, we don't know what we're talking about.
But the year prior, when Bill was there, what happened? Nothing?
What not? Plexic? Plexico? What happened nothing? Plexico? What happened nothing? Crickets, crickets, crickets?
What happened when the year before Russell Westbrook got there
and Bill was there? Okay, so what was the difference

(08:52):
in one year? One guy exactly exactly had a good year.
You're trying to a good year, but you are not
just gonna sit here down. What I'm saying was he accomplished.
He had a chance to do it on his own,

(09:13):
on his back. Russell Westbrook comes to Washington, his mentality,
the way he plays, the energy that he plays with,
he invigorated that team. Now when you get when you
get to the playoffs, they're gonna make you shoot the ball.
They're gonna game plan. It's a different ball game. He's
gonna help the Lakers. That would have been a to

(09:34):
show the true truest of true worths is making them shots.
In the playoffs, they got dominated by Philly. But here's
the thing. My thing about this with Russ going to
to the Lakers is if A D and Lebron are healthy,
who stands up to say you got what you got

(09:55):
to say out of new Because it's the off season,
we gotta say if all right, because I mean, obviously
A D has never been healthy for an entire season,
but the one time that he was healthy, they won.

(10:17):
Um if they are able to maintain their health. I
don't see any team in in the West with just
what the roster it was currently before they got rid
of Kuzman, those guys, you would still look at them
as the favorite out of the West. Now, maybe Phoenix
improved and they put themselves in a position to be

(10:38):
in the conversation. But I don't even know that this
is a a dynasty type set up in Phoenix. I
just think that they had a great run they got
They got a couple of situations where injuries helped their
their their bid for for you know, to get that
that championship. But I don't know who in the West
that you look at and you say can end up

(11:00):
to a healthy Lakers team. I mean, the Clippers will
challenge them quite comes back healthy. The Clippers, which can
they stand up to them? The Mavericks. They stand up
to them the camera. Make it out of first they
can't make it out of first round. They can't make
it up the first round. They get Jamal healthy. Jamal

(11:23):
Bury plays for who not not the Mavericks. I was
talking about the Mavericks, not not Nuggets. The Mavericks are
going to get top three team in the West and
the and the Mavericks are going to get better just
off of experience. I have no problem saying that the
Lakers would be considered to be a clear favorite with
the current roster that they had before the train we

(11:44):
got to get shot. Man. I'm saying, with the roster
that they had going into the next year, you at
Russell Wilson and you Russell Westbok. You lose that, but
what do you really lose? And the guys that you
got rid of, what do you lose? You? It was nothing.
So all they need to do is add a role
player that can shoot the ball. If you can find

(12:05):
a Craig Hodges type of Mark Paxson, a cur but
the gay the game is so like back then when
those guys were playing, it was a few of them.
Everybody wants shooters now because you don't get but you don't.
You do not need that many shooters with that type

(12:25):
of firepower on your team. No you don't. No, you don't,
not with Lebron and a D. No, you don't. You
you need somebody who can shoot as a role player.
You at Russell Westbrook thought they had that. They thought
they had that. They had. Yeah, they thought they thought
they were going to get more out of Shrewder than
what they did and they had to get rid of

(12:46):
They're not gonna bring him. Hey, listen, I thought Shrewder
was fantastic. Well, I don't understand what the fuss is about.
They don't like I thought. I thought when Shrewder came
to the way that he was playing in the endergy
that he was playing with on a night league basis.
I thought he had a great season. He didn't stay
healthy and they didn't like his his approach to the games.
I mean, he was healthy, he went into the COVID

(13:10):
Healthy safety protocol. He was healthy, but he you know,
he got involved with the whole COVID thing and that
kind of you know, Matt John said he's not a
lake and all those kind of things. But from a
performance standpoint, I thought the man played great, all right,
So in this, in this conversation and we'll wrap, we
gotta go catch a break real quick. But and in
this the end result of of this, it sounds as

(13:35):
though you guys do not think their favorites with this move.
It was questionable enough. Not where the West is right
now with with Clay Thompson coming back to Golden State.
You know he comes back with Dreymond and Steph Curry.
You taught Jazz Gobert uh donn joking Jamal Murray the unicorn?

(13:58):
And and who the unicorn? Who the unicorn? Uh? Christa's porzingis? Yeah? Man,
that's what they called him. Believe you mentioned his name.
That's what they called man. That boy was effective as
you and I out there on that court. That that's
what they call it. Wait, what I'm saying is this
the West is loaded? Hey, And you can't forget about

(14:18):
Portland with Dame Year. Yeah, he'll be there, He'll be
there one more year. So you can't just say just
because of legas added Russell Westvorite, but they will be
the favorites in Vegas. I can bet you that. All Right,
we're gonna take a quick break, but coming up next,
a big time star in New Orleans takes a little

(14:40):
bit of time to get the surgery that was needed
and necessary for his health. Uh, the head coach was
not happy with it. Will visit that topic and a
few other things before we wrap up the show. You're
listening up on Game That is Plexico Birds that I
was sitting there talking about the unicorn. That's t J

(18:57):
Speaking of late, let's talk about this Michael Thomas situation
in UH New Orleans. Well, it had the late entry
into getting it surgically repaired, had one Sean Payton very
upset about it. Let's take a listen to it and
see what we got going on. Well, look at it, peers,

(19:20):
We're gonna have to spend some time without him. It's disappointing,
and we'll work through it with the other players that
are here. But the surgery took place, and obviously, uh,
you know, we would have liked that to have happened
earlier than later, and and quite honestly, it should have.
Can you explain, I mean, was there a lack of
communication in between or no, I'm gonna leave it at that. Now,

(19:45):
maybe I'm wrong, but all of the reports that I
have been reading, all the accounts given, is that the
medical staff and Michael Thomas were actually on the same page.
This was one of those injuries where they said, let's
slow walk it, let's see if we can do non
evasive uh approaches to it being being corrected or healing

(20:09):
up and rehabbing it, and it just has not gotten
to that point, and and then the decision was made
to do the surgery. Now, if I'm wrong, then I
apologize for not having the appropriate information. But from all
things I've read, I don't think I'm incorrect. So if
everybody on the was on the same page, you would

(20:32):
have to assume that coach Pate coming out and being
upset about this and saying that he's not gonna go
any further into it, or he's not you know, it
should have been done. He's not only calling he's not
only calling out Michael Thomas, he's calling out the medical
staff and in the building as well. What's y'alls take
on this, dude? This is one thing I do know.

(20:54):
The head coach meets with the training staff every single morning,
every day, every single morning. I've been in those meetings.
The trainer meets with the head coach before every meeting.
So he had to be up on game about Mike.
But but, but Michael's thom is injury. Listen, maybe it

(21:15):
was a misdiagnosis by the medical department, but they were
all on the same page. Uh as far as getting
him healed up properly before the surgery, and and that's
exactly what happened. But for Sean Payton, I know what
he's thinking. You know what, I don't have no more
Drew Brees and now I don't have my best wife receiver.

(21:38):
To start the season, I'm going in with Taysom Hill
and Jamimes Winston duking it out to see who's gonna
be the starting quarterback for this for this Saints football team,
and they have nobody to throw to. From what I understand,
this is a four to five month recovery for touring
ain't for touring a ligaments in the ankle toin ligmas.

(21:59):
I had to look at miss my ankle, so I
know it's one of those things that it's very difficult
to play on. But at the same time, I have
to think about Michael Thomas because you know what, he's
making twenty million dollars this year, and you know what
him doing getting that surgery does. It makes sure that

(22:20):
he will not and cannot be cut by the new
by the New Orleans Saints because he's gonna go into
the season, he's gonna make the roster, and he's going
to be guaranteed to make his twenty million dollars. And
now that's putting you up on games when he heard
his ankle. I believe week one last year, miss quite

(22:43):
a few games. Comes back. Isn't quite ready, they they thought,
and they believe that obviously, Oh it's gonna held on
its own. I knew something was up because we were
supposed to work out out here, like when we're gonna
start next month, when we're gonna start next month, when
we're gonna start, and I think I can start in June.
So I knew something was going on. I didn't know

(23:04):
it was an extent of it. The ankle was that
bad and he needed surgery because really he wanted so
he wants to play. He he wasn't trying to drag
this out and like, oh, let me get the surgery now.
It was a miscalculation with the medical staff and he oh,

(23:24):
he should have gotten it earlier. If the medical staff
had recommended that was the best situation moving forward, that's
what would have happened. They were on the same page.
Let's let it Wrestles's rehabit. He should be fine. That
wasn't the case, and Sean Payton is pissed, but he
should be pissed at his medical staff because they mismanaged this.

(23:45):
They were wrong, and it's not the first time medical
staff has been wrong and it won't be the last.
They just didn't handle the situation the right way. Simple,
Do you guys think this is a symptom of you
just mentioned not having uh Drew Brees for this season.
Do you think this is a symptom of maybe him
feeling pressure going into the season without Drew and and

(24:07):
what that could lead to in terms of results. You
think has been his quarterback? Honestly, he has been the
head coach of the Saints. Hey, you don't think he
doesn't know what he got that Davantae Adams going with
Aaron Rodgers Like, I don't know, he don't know what
to expect, but you maybe, Um, this is uh foolish
of me and wish for thinking if Jamis Winston is

(24:30):
a quarterback, you don't think Mike Thomas would put up
great stats with him as a QB. But do don't
you think if if Jamis Winston was the guy, he
would have won the job by now and Taysom Hill
wouldn't still be taking the starters reps based off for
what I saw last season when it when Taysom Hill
was an understander. He's not an every down quarterback. He

(24:51):
can't make the throws that need to be made, not
not play after play, game in and game out with you,
he is not that kind of But yeah, the back
that has the accuracy to deliver the ball to those
wide receivers in that offense with Sean Payton, he is
not in every dawn starting quarterback and fun the ball.

(25:11):
I don't know why Jamis Winston is not the start
it Eiven. Yeah, because when they had the chance, like
when they had the chance to do it the year prior,
they did not put Tasom Hill in as the starter.
They they trusted uh, putting Teddy in, put putting Bridgewater
into the game. This year it happens. Is it because
of the relationship with with Taysom Hill that you don't

(25:33):
feel is confident in putting Jamis in because they could
strain the relationship. You gave him the money, he has
the more money out of the two, but you did
not put Jamis in to see if he could be
the guy. So now you gotta take a chance on
thinking that Taysom Hill is the guy to do it,
and if he's not, you don't really know what what
Jamis Winston is going to be for your team because

(25:56):
you haven't given him any of those reps and you
had opportunities just like you did when t Bridge. Jamis
Winston has one problem throwing the ball to the other
team if he no, but if he if he's learned
anything from Drew Brees, it's we don't always have to
make the big play. We can check it down if

(26:17):
if he didn't learn anything, if he learns that Jamis
Winston is gonna be a problem. And when Jamis Winston
went to the Saints, he said that he didn't mind
going to be the backup in New Orleans because it
was gonna be the best thing for him in his
career to learn under Drew Brees for a year two
And now he has he has had the opportunity to

(26:40):
learn under Drew Brees. And now you know, we don't
even know if Jamis Winston is going to be the
starting quarterback. So there's some kind of disconnecttion Jamis Winston.
I believe it's gonna be the quarterback plaques. It's gonna
be the same thing with Tayson Hell that he was
with uh Drew Brees up bringing a man for some
series for some plays. Uh um he re signed in

(27:01):
the tone will give you an opportunity to be the quarterback.
They're honoring that, they're they're operating with integrity, being men
of their word. And so that that's what I believe
is going on with other things in news and sports.
Let's go get our trending big Swollio David g What
you get, hey, guys. A couple of different things. First
out for the NBA, Bobby Portis de Climb his option

(27:22):
that was available as he has become a free agent
within the Lockey Butts. Meanwhile, Team USA they beat up
on the Czech Republic Kevin Durant at twenty three points.
They'll take on a winner on Tuesday for the quarterfinals
match up. One night eighty four was the victory and
that one Novak Djokovic failed to earn a medal at

(27:43):
the Olympics. He lost today. It's the third time he
got beaten two days. NFL News today, Justin Houston is
a member of the Baltimore Ravens. Place for him and
the Colts don't know what's going on with Carson Wentz.
They don't believe it's a long term injury for him,
a season ender, but they picked up quarterback Humley, so
he's now another Green Bay um casualty of drafting and

(28:05):
not flying under Aaron Rodgers O, I'm sorry, go ahead
and draft in the first round. Spear Giants have signed
linebacker Todd Davis and the Tampa Bay Rays looking at
tyd Glass now and a couple of seasons. Expected to
have Tommy John surgery next week. He'll be done for
at least a year plus. Yeah, there were some big
trades before that. That trade did like Nico man, they

(28:27):
just like outcasted everyone part of the World Series team.
How but how about the Dodgers. I'm pulling a nice
little little quick one on them. Yeah, we got sars
baby over. They've had They've had a hard time against
the Giants and Toddres this season. Though not no more,
it's not anymore. It's over. Well, it's interesting. Well you
got anything else for us? H No, nothing that I

(28:49):
can say. Everything there, Okay, Well we'll appreciate you. Get
back to lifting him whites then there you go. Alright,
all right, thank you? All right, So back to doctor
up on game and listen. All right, So we'll switch
gears here, but we're gonna go to another quarterback situation.
And I'm interested to hear what you guys are thinking

(29:13):
about what's going on right now in New England. Now,
I said a little while back, and you guys said,
I'm crazy, and I still might be crazy, but I'm
gonna staying my crazy with what I'm living with. Uh
In terms of that. Um, we get some sound today
out of New England and there's a lot going on
with the quarterback situation there. Let's take a listen and

(29:36):
let's have a conference. Let's let's, you know, talk about
this whole Cam mac uh situation and and where it
may be going. We're still looking for the information to
put in front of you, but now we have it.
So let's take a listen. Do you have an ideal
time frame for naming a starter to help you get
ready for the season? Games are starting quarterback? I think

(29:57):
I've said that, so again, we all have to re
establish ourselves. That goes for you know a lot of
other players that you could name us well that I'm
sure in your mind you think they're starters, and maybe
they are starters, and they probably will be starters, but
they all have to re establish their positions. That's across
the board for the whole team. Doesn't just pertain to
one person. They all have to reestablish their position. Now,

(30:24):
he said a whole lot, But and that whole entire
quote or whole entire sound bike that was what stood
out for me. Cam is our starter. Okay, I get that,
but everybody's got to re establish themselves. And and granted
that's how it should be um and that's what it is.
But with that being said, anytime a coach slips in

(30:47):
there the fine print of what it is that they're saying,
there's always something. Why why does it always happen? He
he specifically said, Kim is our starter. We gloss we
gloss over that, yes, but everybody has to re establish themselves.
You know, when somebody it's very fair. I thought what
Beli said is a very fair statement. Okay, we we

(31:10):
know and we understand a starter unless he sucks some
poing into every season that you have to prove yourself
if you're worthy of being a start at your position.
I think it's a very fair statement. He didn't. He didn't.
I don't. I didn't think he hit behind anything. Cam
didn't play well last year. He played well in the
beginning of the season, when after the COVID you know,

(31:31):
his performance declined. But everybody has to go out and
perform improve that they deserve their position. We are in
a performance driving business, gentleman. We don't care how much
we like you. We don't care how fly your closes
on Sunday, when you walk in the tunnel. Can you

(31:52):
go out and perform that we believe you can't do performance.
If he can get the results, he's gonna be the
starter out the gate, out the gate. Game one, Cam
will be the starter? Is let me ask you to
ask this game one as in regular season or game

(32:13):
one of of what we got going on in preseason?
Can can can lose his job in the preseason. I
don't believe so. I don't believe so. I don't believe
it will be how he performing the games give him
and the performance category four to five. I think he'll
start the whole season. But how many games do you

(32:36):
give him if he doesn't play, play, perform at a
high level. We we we gotta see how he performs
in those first few games. If he's playing how he
played early on last year. You remember now when they
went to Seattle. Everybody, oh, Cams a playoff, I mean Cams,
he's one playing man. Look a look at the offense

(32:56):
they got running with Cam. This is about to be
something good. And then Covid hit. He he came back,
he just wasn't the same player but earlier. But when
he came back, he did have a signature. Went against
Baltimore in Baltimore, but it was up and down. The
first quarter of the season. Cam was very good, very good,

(33:17):
and COVID hitting. He had the performance like you said,
but that was far and few between. He's gonna have
to stack good games upon good games, or if he
can't do that, they can get uneven performances from Matt
Jones and hope he develops and grows. By year three.
Cam can not have uneven performances because they can get

(33:38):
that out of Mac Jones. Now, let me put this
in front of y'all and and Plex you take this
one first, and then you could jump in on this one.
T J. Let let me put this one in front
of y'all. I said it that having a year the
way that they did after losing Tom Brady puts the
microscope or puts a focus that maybe hasn't been on
Bill Belichick. Uh, and maybe he even warms his seat.

(34:01):
I said that. Y'all said I was crazy, and that's
finely living my crazy. Like I said, begin another segment,
But do you believe that if doing something you haven't
done characteristically as an identity, as a as an organization,
taking a quarterback as high as they did do you
think that the spotlight does become or the narrative the

(34:22):
conversation can go down the lane of can Bill Belichick
still when the way that he won when he had
Tom Brady, if you go with if you go with
Cam Newton as your starter and you're not having the
type of season that is projected for you to have.

(34:44):
Let me, first of all, let's let's clarify this right now. Okay, no, no,
no quarterback on that roster. I'm gonna be able to
accomplish and win the games that Tom Brady and and
we know that, but it's not going to happen. They
can absolutely win. Can they win it all? No, No,
they cannot. They're not the best team in the NFC.
They probably might be the third mass. But listen, they jump,

(35:14):
they jump out there with the fifteen pick and they
take Mac Jones or whatever pick that he went, and
they are hoping that they can get lucky with this
guy because he fits the system of what Bill Belichick
wants to do offensively, and they draft him high in
the first round, which nobody saw coming. But he's hoping
that they can get lucky again. But the fact for

(35:36):
you to ask a question can they win like Tom
Brady Bilichick, that won't happen. But they can win. But
Cam also knows that this season is a due season him.
If he doesn't play well, Mac Jones is going to
be the starter and and and Cam new will probably
be out of the NFL in two years if if
he doesn't not go or at least he'll be a backup.

(35:58):
He wasn't long be a starter if he doesn't perform
well this year. So he understands that. But they will win.
They won't win, They won't win their their division because
both the Buffalo Bills are clearly the best team in
that division. But they can win football games. But and
Bill Bill, But it's still a great coach. I think
the Dolphins gonna give them some smoke. I think the

(36:19):
Dolphins is gonna give the Bill some smoke. But but
let's stay stay on topic. I'm sorry, go ahead, Yeah,
but still a great coach. You can't take any of
that away from him. But does this does this? But
does this put some some scrutiny, you know, on him?
Does do you now start to have the conversations about
Billy and his ability to coach? No, I'm not gonna

(36:40):
question his coaching ability. On man, he had one of
the greatest quarterbacks that we ever seen play football before.
I don't think you can't you can't question. But but
Bill Belichick just said a starter coming into this year
has to re establish them said, everybody has to start?
Why want so? Why does a starbody has to reassert

(37:01):
themselves every season going into the training. Can't prove that
you are worthy of being a starter at your position
on this football team. Everybody has to prove that. So
does that not apply to everybody, even the coaches? Even
the coaches, absolutely applies to where are we at with that?

(37:24):
Then nobody is questioning whether Bill Belichick is a good
coach or not? But does he have to re establish it?
Does he have to re establish that he can win?
We know he's a good coach, he's Does he have
to re establish that he can win? Does he have
to re establish that he's not winning the Super Bowl?
He doesn't have the team to do that, especially with
Brady not there. That's just what it is. You can

(37:47):
have the best coach in the world. I can give
you the best game plan in the world. If my
players can't execute it, it doesn't matter players. You need
to have players. They go hand in hand, and Bill
is in that because I really thought Bill thought himself,
I'm the reason why. And last year it was a
pleasant surprise to say maybe I wasn't the complete reason. Yeah,

(38:12):
and he got smacked in the face with that. And
it is what it is. Give me the best game plan.
If you can't execute it, it's not a great game plan. Hey,
right now, the Pagers are eight and nine and seen
football team. If they win nine games, then it's a
win win situation for Bill Belichick. But listen, the Pagers
aren't going twelve and twelve and four, thirteen and three.

(38:34):
Those days are along gone. Those days are down down
in Tampa Bay. So you gotta focus on beat the
Buffalo Bills and beat the Miami Dolphins. If you win,
if you go eight, Nate, that's what they expect for
you win the roster that you have in new quarterbacks
that you have. When your roster, nobody's expecting him to
go tennessee eleven, eleven and five. Not at all. Alright, guys,

(38:56):
Unfortunately we have run out of time on this segment
and and in fact, well we're winding down the show.

(41:08):
I'll tell you what you want to continue to stay
tuned in and listen to the way he has to say.
I mean, he talks sports, but he is a man,
well versed and well a lost art in our our world.
Being a man, he is a man's man. Speaking of
man's man's TJ Plex. You know myself, Lavarrington, welcome back

(41:30):
to up on game. Uh, this is a man's man show.
I mean, we are certainly sensitive and and lovers of women,
the women in our lives and and women in general.
But you know we're men's men. We're man's man's you
know what I mean? Baby, yeah, yeah, yeah, And well,

(41:50):
speaking of being a man, ah, just before we get
up out of here, I quickly like to know when
a man is faced with adversity, after dealing with a
ton of adversity where they came from and end up
in the new place and are dealing with the adversity,
how should they handle it? Carson Wentz, he's out indefinitely. Now.

(42:14):
They're saying that it won't be a season and there
and it could be some positive results in the prognosis
moving forward. But how should Carson Wentz be looking at
this situation? I mean, obviously getting back with Reich, who
is his guy that he had the most success with
and in the league, being in a new environment away

(42:37):
from everything that has taken place in Philadelphia, what's next
for him? Guys? He just gotta get healthy. I mean,
he hasn't been healthy, and when he was healthy, he
wasn't playing that well. And every when you go to
a new team, you always want to put your best
foot forward. You want to show the guys that I
can really play. And so I'm sure he was excited

(43:00):
about that. But at at this point, for the coach
and Carson Wentz, it's one how bad is the problem?
Is it really? Oh? He can come back, Derny. When
you start dealing with your feet, you can't do anything
without him. And so for Carson Wentz is how is he?

(43:21):
Is it really that bad? And for the coach, they
need to get another guy ready because you can't you
can't rely on him. Now he's been hurt a lot
with the Eagles, and now he gets start with you
first week of training camp, he's out. You can't rely
on them, So you gotta try to get somebody else
ready to go. Do you lose trust in him as
a player if you're in this situation place it's just
an unfortunate incident. It's unfortunately because just like you did said,

(43:45):
he hasn't been healthy, and now you know, the Coats
have been on the quarterback Carolselle ever since Andrew look quick,
I don't know what was wrong with ja Kobe Brisi.
You know, he threw with three thousand yards and eighteen
touchdowns and Phill River was supposed to be the answer.
He would eyes after one year. So now you're looking
for a quarterback again and no costing gets hurt. It's

(44:05):
been the same thing for him over his career in
in um in Philadelphia. But we're talking about the feat
of a quarterback. I mean, when you start talking about that,
the foot is basically it's a hard game to play
where your dogs are hurting. It is a hard game.
It's a hard game to play with your dogs. The

(44:27):
foot does not get a lot of blood flow. It's
just one of those things where it's hard to heal.
If it's a break time. I mean, if they're saying
that it's not season long, it's probably seven or eight games.
So it's just unfortunate men for him. Well, I'll tell
you what else is unfortunate. We're out of time. And

(44:48):
you know what, it's okay because if you missed anything,
you could go subscribe to our podcast, check things out
and and have a good go at it. You know.
