(00:22):
Sports Radio. Big win last night for the Tennessee Titans
against the Buffalo Bills. I was there, one of eight
thousand or so Titan fans and attendance. Different kind of
environment for shorts Tuesday night football to begin with, sixty
thousand empty seats that were zip tied. You were supposed

(00:45):
to sit in your exact area. The Titans gave out
Titans gators, uh those sort of neck masks that you
could wear for the game itself. I had three kids
there with me. We had an awesome time and what
a win for or the Titans as they absolutely dominated
the Buffalo Bills. A couple of stats for you out there.

(01:07):
I would say one of the big questions in the
off season was were the Titans a surprise team? That
got hot and were they going to overreact by paying
Ryan Tannehill big money. Well, the Titans decided to stick
with Tannehill over maybe going in signing Tom Brady and
uh stat from last night's game as Tannehill had three

(01:30):
passing touchdowns and rushed for another quarterback. Ryan Tannehill from
the Titans and Brett Farr back in the day from
the Packers are the only players in the last thirty
NFL seasons to complete a hundred percent of their passes
in the red zone, throw three plus red zone tds,

(01:51):
and rushed for a red zone td in a game.
Interesting stat there. Here's another interesting stat about the Titans dominance.
The Titans became the first team to score a touchdown
on every red zone possession minimum of six red zone drives,
have zero turnovers, and allow no sex since. The Patriots

(02:14):
defeated the Bills fifty six to ten in Week eleven
of their undefeated two thousand seven regular season, So this
was a pretty clinical beat down that the Titans put
on the Bills last night. And I don't think anybody
out there is arguing that the Bills aren't a good
team given the fact that Titans hadn't played in sixteen days,

(02:37):
hadn't practiced traditionally, to come out and play like they did,
especially on offense without Corey Davis, without Adam Humphries, who
are that's two of their three top wide receivers, and
also to play without Michael Pruitt, who is their number
two overall tight end by and large, that's a pretty
big deal. That's a pretty big deal to manage all

(03:00):
all of that, and uh, when you break down that
entire scenario, there is a lot of reason, I believe
for optimism surrounding the Titans. Now. Earlier in the show,
if you missed it, we did Top five Bottom five,
which we do on the NFL and a regular basis.
Here are top five teams in the NFL. The Packers,

(03:21):
the Seahawks, the Titans, the Steelers, and the Chiefs is
my OutKick Top five. The Packers, the Seahawks, the Titans,
the Steelers and the Chiefs are my top five. The
bottom five teams in the NFL, I've got the Jags,
the Broncos, the Falcons, the Giants, and the Jets as

(03:41):
the five worst teams right now in the NFL. The Jags,
the Broncos, the Falcons, the Giants, and the Jets. Bottom five,
Top five the Packers, the Seahawks, the Titans, the Steelers
and the Chiefs. Now, some of you were watching the
Titans dominate the Bills last night. Others of you were
watching the NLCS between Dodgers and the Braves, or the
a LCS between the Rays and the Astros. The Rays

(04:05):
took a three oh series lead and effectively, it seems
to me have basically eliminated the Astros unless we're gonna
have a two thousand four like comeback from the Houston Astros,
but I don't think anybody is anticipating that. Meanwhile, on
the flip side, the Braves have taken a two oh
series lead over the Dodgers, and this was World Series

(04:27):
or bust for the Dodgers. Let me bring in the
l A crew here, and we're about to do an
animal Thunderdome. And by the way, John Morrossi is going
to join us in the next segment. He is our
MLB insider. What level of nervousness is the city of
Los Angeles on regarding the Dodgers being down O two
to the Braves. Danny g I know Roberto is gonna

(04:48):
take the glasses half empty. So I'll go glass half
full six out of ten for me. Because of the
way they finished Game two with their bats finally come alive,
Kershaw still hasn't pitched, and he's actually had a really
good post season up to these back spasms up to
this point. If Kershaw can go in Game four and

(05:09):
the Dodgers show up today, then they are a team
capable of tying it up to two. What about you, Roberto,
what's the level? I'm not got eight point five out
of nine? I said. The Doctors are done, but the
only hope they really have is if they could get
a win today. The Braves and not really set up
for a fourth and a fifth starter. So the Braves,

(05:29):
I'm not sure the Braids are gonna have a bullpen
game in Game four and Game five, and then they
would have their starter when Max free to pitch again
in Game six. So the Ditters gotta get this win here.
Obviously it's not it's it's over either way, but uh,
no doubt. Um, it's gonna be interesting to see how
all this shakes out. And uh, we will see, I
will say, and I bet you guys agree with me.

(05:51):
It's fun to be able to hear fans in the
stands like the Braves Tomahawk chop. You can hear when
things are going well for the Braves. You can hear
people yelling let's go Dodgers, and you're one guy all
the times say let's go. Yeah. I don't know how
that guy has a voice. They are around twelve thousand
people that are watching in the Dallas area. They showed
Freddie Freeman's little son yesterday. It's cool watching the families. Yeah,

(06:15):
And they also showed video footage of his little son
with a whiffleball bat and yocking balls around. I have
like them showing the families in the stands celebrating and
that's really cool. Uh, no doubt they're all right. So
you told me you have an animal thunderdome lined up
for us. You haven't done it in a while. Let's
cue the music and find out how the war between
humans and animals is going as we move into October.

(06:45):
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm just glad. I was scared boys,
and I thought you thought I was like this enormous
piece of chicken. Dim times I had to my space.
Is animal thunderdoll all right? Take it away, Danny G
what are you starting with? Al Right, Clay, recently you've

(07:07):
told the story of how you brought your kids to
an escape room. Yes, I'm gonna call this the Clay
Travis escape Room. I'll give you one torch, one whip,
and I'll shut the power off in this house and
lock you in there. Fox thirteen, Utah has the story
Holiday man is out of jail tonight. He's back home
after Unified police busted him with a slew of exotic snakes.

(07:30):
Fox erteen's Lauren Steinbrecker has an exclusive look at the
man's home. Also why he says he is distraught over
what happened. Lauren, Yeah, Kelly, So the story that this
man is telling is about how much he loves his snakes.
But you p D said they started to get some
complaints which led to an undercover investigation, and from there

(07:51):
they found some things that they said, we're concerning even
just beyond having those snakes. To Marty, these are family
photos his kids, Burmese pythons or burms as he calls them.
Each one has a name like Lumpy or Stubs. Somewhere
than fifteen years old up to thirty everything I've done
it just for the snakes, not for me. Marty says.

(08:14):
He lets them roam his hollways, his house, their habitat.
They even sleep with him in bed. I've been doing
this for forty five years. Nobody's complained that until they
last week. Police showed up at Marty's house, they said,
after they received complaints and after Marty allegedly sold a
baby python he bred to an undercover officer arrest me

(08:34):
for selling baby snakes that they people sell Reptile expo.
UPD took Marty's twenty pythons, half of them more than
ten ft long, and in the backyard, in the back
of the home where they where they call feed animals,
which included five rats. In addition to that, there were
about five dead rats um forty six rabbits. In addition

(08:59):
to that are four dead rabbits, even if they were
for feeding the snakes. Nearly six hundred rats and dozens
of rabbits at one home is a problem you, p
D says, so is owning or selling pythons without an
exotic animal permit. I think it's it's about you know
that that situation with that many animals in a residential area. Um,

(09:20):
I think that there is be a a big concern
if those if those rats got loose. I mean, here's
the deal. If you just have snakes that you allowed
to roam freely in your house, you should be in prison.
I don't know what else that guy's into, all right,
but I am convinced that if you're like, hey, I'm

(09:41):
such good friends with snakes, I just let them just
live in my house and go wherever they want. No, no, no, no,
no no, that guy needs to be in prison. And
let me just say this. Let me just say this too.
I am unabashedly I'm a snake ist, all right. I
am anti snakes. Understands up, people love snakes. You people

(10:01):
are all crazy. I would be very comfortable if there
were no snakes at all, all right. I am like,
I can't imagine for people out there who have not
listened to the show regularly. What I used to say was, remember,
do we still have any of that audio from that
girl who had like nine snakes that she kept in
her house. And my argument was, if you're a single

(10:22):
guy and you walk in and there is uh into
the girl's house, condo, apartment, whatever, and she has nine
snakes that she just keeps, or even a snake, I'm
turning around and walking right back out. It's like that
gift that's out there of Grandpa Simpson walking in, you know,
like whistling, and then he just he just turns right
back around and goes right back out of the bar.

(10:44):
That's how I would be if I were dating a
girl that had snakes at all, and I was a
single guy. I'm out. I'm out, I'm out of the house.
I'm not I'm not staying there because here's the thing.
Every every snake escapes, Like anybody who ever has a
snake is like, oh yeah, then then they just got
out of their cage, and so I like, they always

(11:05):
get out every single time, they always get out it all.
I'm just I'm over it. By the way, these pictures,
they have a picture of his hallway and all the
pythons in his bed. They will freak you out. I'm
gonna tweet them out at Danny G Radio. I will
tag you at sleep with snakes in your bed. I mean,
that is like next level creepy. Besides the permits, by

(11:30):
the way, he was released from jail over the weekend.
He also faces charges for possessing controlled substances with intent
to distribute and possessing a firearm by a restrictive person
after police say they also found marijuana, opiates, and a
gun in plain sight while searching his home. No, so,
a guy who sleeps with snakes is a big drug dude.
Wouldn't have expected that. I'm a snake ist alright. This

(11:55):
next story also from Utah. What's up with Utah Today?
Did you see this? It's a vey liable on TMZ
later today. Check this out when you have time. A
man adventuring through a Utah hiking trail stumbled across I
saw this story like that. He was just the one
getting chased by six minutes of terrifying video where this
mountain lion is chasing Kyle Burgess. He posted the full video.

(12:18):
He was on this slate canyon trail near Provo. Footage
shows him coming across a couple of cougar cubs along
his run, only to come face to face with their mom.
As soon as he recognizes that this uh beast is
on his trail, he starts to backpedal. This big cat.
When you see the video, it'll freak you out the
way it's coming at the camera and him, so he

(12:40):
recorded the cat chasing him. He did, and I guess
he was saying, if I'm gonna die today, he wanted
like some video evidence of what happened to him. I'm sorry.
I would not have turned my my video on my camera.
That's the last thing I would have been thinking of.
But wisely, he pretended like he was picking up rocks,
and that's what finally chased the big cataway at the

(13:01):
end of the six minute video. Why did he pretend
to pick up rocks. I would have been trying to
get as many bigger rocks as I could. Yeah, I
would have looked for a boulder. He was just out
jogging and he came across these two mountain lion cubs
and then the mom wasn't happy. And they always say,
if you see cubs, quickly had the other direction because obviously, yeah,

(13:21):
if the mom's not far away, you're in big trouble.
This is why I don't jog. I think jogging is overrated.
I think snakes are overrated. I'm not doing either. As
people right now listen to me. I think the jogging
is the worst possible activity you could do. I I people,
I'm so anti running, right, people get riled up, like

(13:43):
they always say, well, you don't know what it's like
to you know, if you complete a marathon or you
complete a half marathon. Years ago, I did a half marathon.
And my belief is that people who like the jog
have incredibly low self esteem because they think they can't
jog for very far. And then they're like, oh, wow,
I did it. I know Oprah ran a marathon, right, Oprah.

(14:06):
If Oprah can run a marathon, I can run a marathon.
I have zeroed out at all about that. And so
if Oprah can do it, I don't have low self esteem.
If I spent the time I could run a marathon,
I ran a half marathon. I hated every minute of it.
It was a waste. So anyway, I'm anti running, and
I'm certainly anti running when you can be chased by

(14:26):
mountain lion, although at least then you have a reason
to run. Well, story three out of four and you're
gonna be able to relate to this one as well.
A French couple who purchased what they thought was an
exotic Savannah cat from an online ad ended up turning
this fee line over to authorities when it turned out
to be a tiger cub and actual tiger. Yes. Prosecutors

(14:46):
in France say the couple encountered this online ad back
in offering a baby Savannah cat, which is a cross
between a domestic and African. The couple paid about seven
thousand dollars for the kitten because it's a savannah, but
after a week or so in their care, the couple
suspected that it was not a savannah. Obviously, um, you

(15:07):
know you can have a savannah, you can't have a
tiger and endangered species, uh native convinced them that it
was a tiger. Indonesia it doesn't say, but I gotta
think that if you have seven thousand dollars to drop
on a savannah and you did all that research, you
could probably tell that you don't have a savannah week
into that experience. The prosecutors say that this incident sparked

(15:30):
a two year investigation that culminated this past week with
nine people being arrested. The couple who purchased the cat
were among those arrested, but were later released by police.
Authorities say that animal trafficking charges are being sought in
the case. The tiger cub is now in the care
of a foster group in France. Well, we had um
for people out there who missed it, we had uh,

(15:52):
Carole Basket on the show and uh that was interesting
in and of itself to hear her. But we just
bought two Bengal Bengal tiger like not actual Bengal tigers
for you. They might as well be tigers tigers, yeah
the way, I'm allergic to them. So these cats are
now starting to walk around the whole house, and I mean,
like the other day, my six year old, Um, they're

(16:14):
upstairs eating breakfast. I don't know if I'm gonna make
breakfast for him now. I said, Hey, would you rather
have Dad or the cats? And immediately he said, oh,
the cats. Like so, I'm I was already low on
the family food food chain or family flow chart of
importance that my six year old has now said that
he would rather have both of the cats or either
of the cats than me, so strong moved there for dad.

(16:36):
I think secretly, these cats are gonna wind up liking
you and vice versa, and they will be chilling on
your lap during a future OutKick program. Not gonna happen now,
they don't like to be there. They're they're very active cats.
These these we name one Egan after the Ghostbusters, and
the other one was Leo because my six year old
wanted to name him Leo. I think is CAIU has

(16:58):
a cat named Leo. So Yahlio and he gone, Oh.
They're runners. They bounce off walls. Yeah, and evidently they
urinate everywhere, according to Carol Basking. Finally, a New Mexico
zoo is asking the public to keep their eyes open
for a beaver that escaped from the facility after only
recently being transferred from another zoo. This is like the

(17:18):
animal version of Shawshank Redemption. The Spring River Zoo and
Rosswell said Busy, one of a pair of two year
old beavers who recently arrived from the Pittsburgh Zoo, was
discovered missing from his enclosure this past Sunday. Zookeepers say
that Busy tunneled under multiple fences to make his way
out of the zoo. The Roswell Police Department, the city's

(17:39):
Animal Services department in the New Mexico Game and Fish
Department have been notified of the escape, and they've been
on the lookout if anyone sees a beaver in the
city or surrounding area. It could possibly be our zoo's animal.
While the beaver is relatively tame, he does not like
to be picked up and should not be chased. The
zoo said, I mean, this seems foreseeable that a beaver
would potentially do what a beaver does. I'm not going

(18:02):
to call into doubt the New Mexico Animal Safety Zoo here,
but it seems like they are surprised that the beaver
did what we all know a beaver does. I feel
like I do hope this beaver doesn't ever get caught,
because I don't want I want them to be like
read down in Mexico. One day another beaver shows up
and they just have a great life. I feel like
Morgan Freeman is going to meet this beaver on a beach. Yeah,

(18:23):
fingers crossed that might happen. All right. That is the
Animal Thunderdome. When we come back, we will be joined
by John Morrossy to answer the question how nervous should
Dodger fans be? Be sure to catch live editions about
kick the Coverage with Clay Travis weekdays at six am
Eastern three am Pacific. A pretty wild Wednesday, not usually

(18:44):
that you have in NFL football game to react to.
Now we can automatically pivot. Now, there's not a Thursday
night football game this week, so it's gonna take a
little while to get to NFL Week six, but I'm
sure we'll be breaking that down soon. I got a
top five bottom five ready to roll with you, But
first I want to dive into Major League Baseball. Last night,
I know also a lot of people were watching the

(19:05):
Braves Dodger series as well as the Rays going up
against the Astros. And let's start with that Braves Astros series,
which probably I know certainly on the show has a
bit more interest. I think we've got a couple of
play calls for you. The Braves got up big in
this game. And uh, I believe we have Dan's By

(19:25):
Swanson with a ground rule double to make it seven
zip breaking ball hit in the year to right field
with authority towards the corner. That ball is then for
a fair ball and bounces all the defense. Darnel will
trot home. All these will have to go back to third.
It's a ground rule double for Dansby Swanson. It's a
seven nothing Atlanta leave al right. The Braves were cruising

(19:47):
at that point, and they would eventually go up. I
believe it was eight to three something like that into
the bottom of the ninth, if I'm not mistaken. And
then things got interesting. Cody Bellinger. Here is is the
moment when it seemed like the Dodgers might make at
the Atlanta Braves look like the Atlanta Falcons when it

(20:08):
came to giving up a huge lead. Here was Cody
Bellinger's triple that makes it eight seven and leaves him
on third base with the tying run, one line drive
right field. That's a base hit, one hop off the wall.
Will Smith rounding third and he will score. It is
eight to seven as Bellinger arrives at third base, all right,

(20:32):
and then with Dodger Nation believing maybe we can avoid
the O two, here was what it sounded like the
final call from the Braves radio network. Lanson gets his
sign from Darnel. One pitch pulled on the ground to
the left side. Riley's got it, throws across Braves. When
the Braves hold on to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers,

(20:53):
and the Braves now lead the National League Championship Series
two games to none. Alright, So now the Dodgers have
to win four out of five games. Let's presume it
goes seven. They either have to win four straight or
they have to win four out of five against the
Braves to advance to the World Series. Let me bring

(21:13):
in the Dodger fans on this show. By the way,
we heard the end of this game in the car
driving back. My ten year old is a huge Braves fan.
We've talked about that on this show, and one of
the first things he said after the Braves one was, Wow,
what do you think Danny G is thinking right now? So,
Danny G, what are you thinking? How nervous are Dodger

(21:36):
fans now being down O two in this series? While
you answer that question, I'm gonna look up the latest odds.
In terms of the Dodgers were a decent favorite to
win this series. That obviously has flipped now that the
Braves are up to oh uh and uh, that they
are substantial favorites tonight to potentially get back to to

(21:59):
one um and uh and and again we'll see what happens.
But in terms of the futures on on this series,
let's see the Major League Baseball n LCS. The Braves
are now minus two seventy five to win this series.
Uh and so, Danny G. Your thoughts, Well, it feels

(22:21):
like the Dodgers are trying to pull their best impersonation
of the l A Clippers here and get Dave Roberts
potentially fired the way the Clippers did to Doc Rivers.
He won't get fired because he's been the puppet for
the Dodgers front office. But it's been frustrating. Obviously up
to this point. The Dodgers had a really good post season,
even Kershaw, and you didn't get to mention that he

(22:43):
was a scratch because of his back. Um. Hopefully he
will be available for Game four. I love the fact
that the Dodgers didn't show any quit there at the
end of the game, seven runs and three innings, Bellingers
standing ninety ft away, and then the Braves fans all
got to exhale, including your son. Lincoln shouts out to him.
I gotta tip your cap to the Braves on their

(23:03):
two oh lead. I mean, they're really good team. Maybe
the bats for the Dodgers are awake now for Game
three today, we'll see, all right. So that is Danny G.
Dodger fan extraordinaris thoughts, Roberto, your thoughts? Uh, I think
the Doctors are finished? Man. Uh, teams down to oh
in the seven game series are three and twenty eight
all time. Oh, that's a stat. I didn't know three

(23:25):
and all time. Yeah. The last time to win it
was to win the series. Donald two was a oh
four Red Sox and they came back from three oh down. Exactly. Yeah,
the Daughters, they look lifeless throughout the game. They got obviously,
the bats got tight, took syndrome. Usually when it comes
to baseball playoffs, that's what happens. Uh, I'm not I'm
not buying the momentum of oh, yeah, they scored these
runs in the last game, they're gonna They're gonna come

(23:46):
alive this next game. Momentum is the next day starting pitcher,
and uh, I think it's over and it's gonna. If
it's gonna be over, it's gonna be over early. Julio
Rias is a picture who usually struggles during the first
two winning So if the if the Braids are gonna
get them, they're gonna get them early. I'll tell you this,
there's no Braves fans out there in America. There's no
Atlanta area sports fan, uh fans out there at all

(24:07):
that are feeling confident like they are the perpetual The
shoe is gonna drop. We're gonna find a way to
lose over historically the Braves in the postseason. Not only that,
but certainly the lasting legacy of the Falcons collapsing on
that three Super Bowl lead for many people kind of
epitomized Atlanta area sports fans and what their experiences usually are.

(24:30):
All right, let me bring in or the other series. Obviously,
I think we have a little bit of an audio
highlight if I'm not mistaken, And then I'll bring in
Eddie Garcia and get to get an update the the
We've got a dominant performance so far by the Tampa
Bay Rays, who won Game five against the Yankees and
last night took down the Astros for a third straight time.

(24:51):
Suddenly jose Al Tove can't can't make plays at all
in the field. Here's what it sounded like as Hunter
Renfro got a to run double Swanny pop him up
foul first base side dropping fair or founded lambs a
fair ball. Here comes winding in the score. Here comes
Camyer to score the third base of Domascy holds it's
a blue double for Hunter Renfro and the Rays have

(25:13):
a five one league, so we may be headed. Hudos
for a raise series against the Atlanta Braves. As I said,
nobody would have predicted that Fox Sports Radio has the
best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of
our shows at Fox sports Radio dot com and within
the I Heart Radio app search f s R to
listen live. Last night, glorious night. If you are a

(25:37):
Tennessee Titan fan, they put a beat down on the
Buffalo Bills on the incredibly rare Tuesday Night football. I
was there in attendance along with about eight thousand or
so Tennessee Titan fans. It was a different experience, to
be sure, sixty thousand zip tide seats all around us
where you were not able to actually sit in a

(26:00):
court sort of normal fashion, nobody around in front of us,
and that made the experience a little bit wacky. But
what a beat down the Titans put on the Bills.
And that was despite the fact that the the fact that
that the Bills and Josh Allen couldn't be stopped on
third down thirteen out of seventeen in the game. But
the Titans get the huge forty two to sixteen victory,

(26:22):
and the question that entered the season was was the
Titans run to the a f C Championship and anomaly
and aberration somebody getting lucky and hot at the right
time being able to beat the New England Patriots and
the Kansas City Chiefs in back to back games. Was

(26:42):
that something that was going to continue this season? And
in particular, was Ryan Tannehill a flash in the pan?
Did the Titans overreact by making him their long term quarterback?
The answer, at least through four weeks, appears to be
known that there is some staying power there from Ryan Tannehill. Also,

(27:03):
there seems to be a decent amount of offensive rhythm
that's going on, particularly for the Titans, thanks to Arthur Smith,
who maybe at the top of a lot of these
teams lists. Could there be a call going to them
for the Houston Texans. Could there maybe be a possibility
that it makes sense down in Atlanta. We'll see what happens,
but I would think Arthur Smith, the offensive coordinator of

(27:24):
the Titans, is potentially gonna get some calls because this
offense is playing out of its mind right now and
They did everything they did to the Bills, a four
no Bills team, despite the fact that they really didn't
have normal practice for sixteen sixteen days and have been
dealing with the COVID outbreak. Plus two of their top receivers,

(27:48):
Adam Humphreys and Corey Davis were both out on the
COVID list, as well as their backup tight end Michael Pruitt,
and they still went out and executed at a high
level with a lot of wide receivers frankly had not
played a lot of significant snaps over the course of
the season. Now A. J. Brown was back and played really,

(28:09):
really well. Josh Norman is gonna be living through that
stiff arm that he took for a long time to come.
When he was asked about it, Derrick Henry said that
he had been doing some curls a lot recently and
he definitely curled Josh Norman. In Major League Baseball News,
for those of you waking up, the Braves have put

(28:30):
the Dodgers on the early ropes by taking a two
oh series lead, and the Rays appeared to have effectively
ended the Houston Astros season by going up three oh.
We could have a two thousand four Red Sox situation.
I suppose in that series, but I'm not seeing it
right now. Uh. Strong indications that we would see a

(28:52):
series between the Braves and the Rays. Good luck to
anybody who has that exact the ticket and predicted that.
As the world areas, we'll see whether the Dodgers have
any major mojo, whether they can fight back. They now
have to either win four games in a row or
they have to win four out of five. Now, I'll
tell you this, there's nobody who's in Atlanta area sports
fans that like, we got this, we got this locked up.

(29:14):
There's no way we're gonna blow this two oh series lead. No, no, no, no,
my friends, Once your team has given up a twenty
eight to three uh super Bowl lead like the Falcons did,
there's never gonna be another sporting event where you don't
have post traumatic stress based on the way that that
game went down. Until there is no time left in
any game, Uh, no Atlanta area sports fan is gonna

(29:37):
believe that their team is going to win, all right.
So that is where we are in terms of major stories. Also,
Levian Bell now a free agent. He's been released by
the Jets. We'll see exactly how much interest there is
in him. But yet another running back who gets big
dollars and then has everything crumble around him. Putting into

(29:58):
context that Levian Bell situation. I read this earlier, and
it's a pretty crazy data point. The Jets paid Levian
Bell thirty four thousand, eight hundred and sixty nine dollars
per rushing yard. That's flat out unbelievable. All right, So

(30:18):
usually we do top five, bottom five. We've been doing
it for a long time. We're going to continue to
do it. I believe we have the music. Uh, go
ahead and queue it up, Danny g and then I
will do I'll start with the top five teams in
the NFL, and you can you can let me know
whether or not you agree with these uh this list

(30:40):
as we shake through the top five teams in the
NFL through five weeks of the NFL season, the best
team in the NFL, I believe so far has been
the Green Bay Packers. They have been dominant on some
level in every game that they played in. I love

(31:01):
what I'm seeing with Aaron Rodgers. Even with the issues
they have it health at wide receiver, it hasn't mattered.
They have a tight end who comes out of nowhere
and catches three touchdown passes. This offense is rolling downright
dominant for the Packers. I think they are the best
team in the NFL right now, sliding in in the

(31:23):
second spot in the OutKick Top five, the Power rankings
of the five best teams in the NFL right now,
I have got the Seahawks Russell Wilson's team. What an
incredible drive to win the game against the Minnesota Vikings.
I believe the Seahawks are the second best team right
now in the NFL, and that Russell Wilson is the

(31:46):
unquestioned leader, particularly with what we saw from Josh Allen
last night. We know it's gonna be Aaron Rodgers, it's
gonna be Russell Wilson, two old gunners. Right now, I
would argue at the top of the m v P board,
Packer is one Seahawks too. Maybe a little bit of excitement,
maybe a little bit of an overreaction, but when you

(32:08):
consider that the Bills were four no and looked like
one of the best teams in the NFL so far
this year, and when you consider now that the Titans
are four no and would be the number one team
in the a f C. I just gotta say, right now,
if the season were ending today, the Titans would have
to buy and they would be the overall number one

(32:30):
team seed in the entirety of the a f C.
I've got the Titans at the three. I've got the
Titans as the third best team in the NFL. I
love what I've seen out of Ryan Tannehill. Everybody knows
how reliable Derrick Henry is. They've had injuries on defense,
but Mike Vrabel is there. I feel like at some
point in time they are going to round into shape

(32:50):
a little bit better. And frankly, we saw that last
night against the Bills, holding them to sixteen points, making
two big turnovers. I think the Titans at the three spot.
In the four spot the Steelers. Now, some of you
may say, why would you have the Titans above the Steelers, Clay,
and the answer is because the Titans have a better

(33:11):
win than the Steelers do. The Steelers and the Titans
kind of mirror images. So far. They haven't played an
incredibly challenging schedule. We'll see how the Steelers do this
week against the Browns. We'll see how they do next
week against the Titans. But based on what I've seen
so far, I like the Titans overall resume better than
I do the Steeler overall resume. So I've got the

(33:34):
Steelers at four, and then they haven't really seen that
engaged so far this season, even though they're defending Super
Bowl champs. I have got the chief set five. Let
me explain why they weren't interested in playing against the Chargers.
They weren't interested. It didn't seem like in playing against
the Patriots once Cam Newton wasn't there. They didn't play

(33:54):
that well, uh frankly, certainly against the Raiders. And I
feel like they've kind of been on the edge all season,
worried about motivation, a little bit of a Super Bowl hangover.
But when they felt like there was a legitimate challenger
against them, they stepped up and beat the pants off
of the Baltimore Ravens. So I have got the Chiefs

(34:17):
as the fifth best team in the NFL right now
through Week five. Let me recap Packers one, Seahawks to
Titans three, Steelers four, and I have got the Chiefs
in the five spot. Danny G. What disagreements, if any,
do you have with my list of excellence. Wow, I

(34:38):
did my list last night after Tuesday Night football. I
didn't think we would have the same five teams we do, though.
I also have Packers at one, Seahawks too, but three
or four or five a little different for me. I
have the chief set three because even though my Raiders
clowned on them on Sunday, we saw at the end
of the game the Chiefs can kind of turn it
off and on. And then I have the Titans at

(34:59):
four and Steelers at five, right above the Ravens, Bills
and Ramsay. I mean, we have the same exact five teams.
Dub What would you say about the list of excellence?
I think Baltimore not being there is a bit head scratching,
to be fair, because I think if Baltimore played Tennessee
right now, they'd be a fairly significant favorite. What happened
the last time Baltimore and Tennessee played. We're talking here

(35:21):
and now this is I'm just saying that. I'm just
saying they are going to play. I think in uh
in December and in Baltimore would be probably a six
point favorite on a neutral field. Yeah, we'll see, yeah.
But but other than that, I have Pittsburgh Green Bay.
I have Kansas City in there as well. In Seattle.
I think Seattle. I don't know how they do it

(35:43):
every year. I mean they just pull wins out of there,
you know what, and they end up on top. I
don't know. It's it's very head scratching in me because
I mean, they should lose some of these games, but
they just don't because Russell Wilson's that good. I don't
have the Ravens in my top five because of what
a serious beat down the Chiefs delivered against them. I
felt like that was a statement beat down win that

(36:06):
the Chiefs brought to bear. Does that make sense? Like
the I agree with you in general that the Ravens
in their winds have been very impressive, but I felt
like that was a soul stealing wind that the Chiefs
put on them, Which is why I've got the Chiefs
at the five. Like, I just feel like the Chiefs,
when they need to and want to and feel challenged,

(36:27):
are going to be able to elevate to a to
a level that very few teams, maybe no one else
in the NFL can meet. The problem is for the Chiefs,
they haven't looked very good, right, I mean, they weren't
good against the Chargers, they weren't certainly very good last
week against the Raiders, and they didn't even look very
good against the Patriots. And so you know, when you've
only played five games and three of them, you kind

(36:48):
of just throw your shoulders up and say, I didn't
really wasn't very impressed with their effort. I've got him
in at the five basically based on that beat down
they put on the Ravens. Eddie Garcia, what would you
say about my list of excellence here? Top five teams
in the UH in the NFL, UH no, no debate
at all. In the top two, I would definitely agree
with Green Bay in Seattle. I still would put Kansas

(37:10):
City over Tennessee. I think their wins over Baltimore in
New England are more impressive then Tennessee's went over Buffalo.
I would have the Titans fourth, and I would still
have Buffalo number four. They beat a pretty good Rams
team and they're only losses to an undefeated team, so
even though they have one loss, I put them ahead
of the Steelers, who haven't beaten anybody yet, and ahead
of the Ravens, who haven't beaten anybody yet. You're a

(37:30):
big Steeler fan. I didn't bring you in to ask
about the Levian Bell situation. But is this not an
incredible validation of Mike Tomlin in the entire Steelers organization,
just using Antonio Brown and Levian Bell as an example
with without a doubt, I look as a Steeler fan,
they aren't batting a thousand, but it's pretty close as
far as when they know when to let guys go,

(37:51):
either late in their career before they've started to decline,
or guys who have just become too much of a headache,
and it almost always works out for him. Uh what
about you? Uh, Roberto, any additional changes anybody you would
have in your top five that isn't in my list? No,
it's your's same as mine, pretty much. I got the Packers,
the Seahawks, and even though the Raiders whooped on the cheese,

(38:13):
I gut still got about the Chefs, the number three,
they could turn it on whenever they want, the tie Ins, four,
the Teaters five. Alright, so a lot of agreement there
on the top five teams in the NFL. Right now,
should we save the bottom five for the top of
our three or should we do him now? I think
we have time to do it right now. All right,
let's go ahead and do the bottom five teams in
the NFL. This not as joyous of an occasion. This

(38:36):
is the list of sadness. There are a lot of
people out there that were so excited for the NFL
to be back, and many people on this list are like,
you know what if the season got canceled, it wouldn't
be awful. I don't know that we need to play
the last eleven weeks. What do we need to see
to make sure we know? You know, kind of what
happened already. I'm ready for the draft. Let's take for

(38:58):
Terever Lawrence. Here is the list of sadness counting down.
It took a while for them to get on this list.
It took a while for them to get on the
OutKick list. And everybody before the season said this is
gonna be the worst team in the NFL. They aren't
the worst team in the NFL, but they have lost
four games in a row to Jacksonville Jaguars. They won

(39:20):
Week one against the Indianapolis Colts, and then they played
really well in Week two against the Titans. People remember that,
and I remember buying in because I lost some money
on them. When Miami was coming to town to play,
I said, oh, oh my goodness, they're gonna handle Miami.
In the battle for Florida. Jacksonville Jaguars, they got run

(39:42):
and they've been getting run a lot since the Jags
falling to one in four. They are the king of
my bottom five, which is not a kingship. You want
to own the Jags right now at number twenty eight overall,
how about the Broncos. The Broncos. I know they've only
played four games, and I know they've been competitive in
most of those games, but this is not a fun

(40:06):
team to watch. This is not a good team Without
Drew Lock. I have got the Broncos at twenty nine.
We talked about the Braves and the fact that the
Braves managed to hold on and win eight to seven
against the Dodgers. But you know who has not been
managing to hold on, who has letting Wilson Phillips down

(40:26):
because they have not been holding on at all. It
is the Atlanta Falcons. You give him a lead, they
will take it away. And right now they are owing five.
Their GM has been fired, they have fired their head coach,
and the owner now came out and said, I don't
know how many more years Matt Ryan's got left. Arthur
Blank is one of the nicest guys on the planet

(40:48):
when he's like, yeah, I don't know what in the
world's going on here. He built home Depot into an
incredible success story, but he can't win football games in Atlanta,
and that hangover, which may never end from the twenty
to three lead that the Atlanta Falcons gave up. The
Falcons are oh in five, and I legitimately wonder could

(41:11):
they now be in the Trevor Lawrence sweep steaks. Could
they be thinking to themselves on some level, hey, maybe
it's time to move on from Matt Ryan. Trevor Lawrence.
Just up the road a little bit in Clemson wouldn't
be a very far trip. I don't know they're in
the mix to have to make that decision. The Falcons

(41:32):
at the thirtie best team in the NFL and then
stay in New York. I don't know how you get
out of bed in the morning if you are a
Giant's or you are a Jets fan. Other than if
you're a Jets fan, maybe you're thinking we're gonna move
on from Sam Donald. What's interesting right here is, other
than the Jags, a lot of these bad teams may

(41:53):
not necessarily be in the quarterback sweep steaks for Trevor Lawrence.
So could there be a trade to be made? And
this is I'm just tossing this out out there. Could
the Cowboys, with Dak Prescott being injured, put together an
unbelievable offer and say, instead of re upping with Dak
Prescott given the fact that he is a free agent

(42:14):
theoretically off of his franchise tag, could Jerry Jones and
the Cowboys be in the wheel and the deal move
business here when you start to look at some of
these teams that might be at the top of the
Trevor Lawrence board in the fact that they have quarterbacks already.
I don't know, but I got the Giants at thirty one,
and then I have got the Jets at thirty two.
My list of sadness counting down the bottom five teams

(42:37):
in the out Kick Top five a place you never
want to be. You never want to be in the
bottom five Jags, Broncos, Falcons, Giants, Jets. That is the
five worst teams in my NFL Right now, What say, you,
Danny g any additional team that you have that I

(42:58):
left out? I don't have the Broncos in. I have
the Jags, Giants, Washington Football team, Falcons, and Jets. Here
was my thought process on why I have the Broncos
in because their only win is against the Jets. Right. So,
I think when you got the one win teams, you
start looking at the one team that they beat. I've

(43:20):
got the Jags in because they've lost four in a row.
I've got the Broncos in because the only team they've
been able to beat as the Jets. And you can
make an argument for the Washington football team, but I
think they've been somewhat competitive at least they've also played
a really hard schedule. Anyway, those are my five. Duh dub.
Would you have any additional I had Washington as well,
But you mentioned teams that have only beat the Jets.

(43:41):
Let's take a look at our defending NFC champion forty Niners.
They're only two wins or against the Jets and the Giants. Yeah,
they're in rough spot. They might be a contender for
this bottom five list, and that you would have never
believed because listen to their schedule. They got the Rams, Patriots, Seahawks, Packers, Saints, Rams, Bills.
That's their next Lady games coming up, So we could

(44:02):
have the forty Niners enter this list in a few
weeks time. I know I shouldn't hold it against them,
but I hold it against the forty Niners that they're
in Santa Clara and that they make people calling football
games in Santa Clara wear masks and have a plastic
divider between them. Did you see that? I mean, this
is like this cosmetic theater absurdity. If you're going to

(44:25):
have an announcer who's already been tested regularly in a
booth wearing a mask while calling games with a plastic
divider between you, I mean, you have just so gone
over the top on the cosmetic theater that it makes
me want to root against the forty Niners, even though
I guarantee you a huge percentage of forty Niner fans
think that's insane, and also a huge percentage of players,

(44:50):
coaches and everybody else is like this, like, why are
we so over the top? It's absurd? All right, Eddie Garcia,
anybody else you have in the bottom five, I I
gotta agree with Dubbin. Danny, I also had the Washington
football team in my bottom five. But how about the
New York Jets. Did you see their point differential? They're
at a minus eighty six, one of the worst teams
we've ever unbelievable NFL. I mean they are, and Adam

(45:12):
Gates still has a job. Yeah, I mean, what has
to happen for Adam Gates to get fired? Not not Look.
I don't claim that there's some great higher that's suddenly
gonna flip a switch and the Jets are gonna be good,
but Adam Gates has to be looking around like man.
I didn't think I'd lasts longer than Dan Quinn. Dan
Quinn has been in the Super Bowl at least with

(45:32):
the Falcons, and Bill O'Brien has won what was it
like five out of the last six division titles in
the a f C South something like that. I mean,
so both of those guys are far more accomplished at
the places that fired them than Adam Gates. Is Roberto
Any final thoughts on the out kick bottom five? Yeah,
I agree with Danny Eddie and dub I got Washington

(45:53):
in there instead of the Broncos. Was that a flawed
analysis by me. I don't know. I I'm not sold
on the NCO's. The city of Denver is is outraged.
They are revolting against the OutKick Show. Be sure to
catch live editions of Outkicked the Coverage with Clay Travis
weekdays at six am Eastern three am Pacific, joined now
by John Morosy to break down the latest in the NLCS.

(46:17):
In the a l C S, John, I'm gonna start
because I know we got a lot of people waking
up on the West Coast and they are thinking, oh
my goodness, here we go again with the Dodgers. And
I'm gonna be honest with you Braves fans all over
the country, certainly those who have been fans for very long,
which doesn't include my ten year old. But the Braves

(46:37):
have now won seven straight postseason games after not being
able to win anything in the postseason for almost twenty years.
What in the world is going on on the NLC
In the NLCS, and do the Dodgers in your mind,
have a chance to win four in a row or
four of the last five, as they would have to
do in order to be able to to advance to

(46:58):
the World Series. Well, Clay, good morning. Your son has
chosen a great year to fall in love with the Braves,
because this has been a fun team to watch. I
think in the country is really getting a sense for
first of all how great Freddie Freeman is, but just
how how incredibly talented the team is overall, with Alibi
is having a great couple of games as well. To me,

(47:19):
it's it's surprising. I covered the Dodgers in the last round,
and I've seen them play a lot, certainly over the years,
and I really believe, Clay, this is the best Dodgers
team that I have covered during this run in terms
of their eight straight Division titles. And I thought they
were playing as good as I've seen them play as
of the end of the last series. But the Braves pitching,

(47:41):
I think, you look at Ian Anderson and what a
young what a young pitcher he is, how poised he is,
It's pretty incredible. And yeah, there was the late surge
by the Dodgers there and they nearly won the ball game.
But I think overall the Dodgers quality of at bats
has not been quite as good it or as thorough
as the Braves and and Freeman and all these so

(48:03):
far they've been the difference in addition to the Braves
young pitching so um and and now the Dodgers scrambling
a bit with their starting rotation. Of course, Clayton Kershaw
could not pitch a Game two because the back spasms,
and they hope he pitches Game four. But but Clay,
right now, a lot of things are lining up in
the braves favor and whatever the history is, and whatever
the history was, the reality is, through two games of

(48:26):
this series, the Braves have been the better team. Okay,
so the Rays seemed to be in really good shape.
On the other side, the Rays versus either the Braves
or the Dodgers, who do you make as the favorite,
because it does feel like the Rays up three, oh,
have effectively put away the Astros Right well, Clay, it's

(48:47):
so interesting because and this point was made and Mark T.
Sharon made this point earlier in the week, and I
think it's a really good one. Is it? Because we
did not have any series in between divisions this year,
in between league divisions, if you want to call it,
because of the way that the schedule structure worked. We
we're just sort of now having the first opportunity to
really measure the relative strength of the divisions. They were,

(49:10):
they were closed entities during the course of the year,
and so maybe the East was better than we realized
it was. Maybe maybe those those two divisions were just
stronger across the board than the than the others, and uh,
maybe we didn't fully realize it until now. But you
may well have an East versus East world series. I
think that if if the Rays and Braves match up,

(49:35):
I think that gosh, it would be a really closely
matched series. I think that Freeman right now is the
best would be the best player remaining between those two teams.
Um and he's just he's been playing so great as
you've seen all year. And I think they're they're young
pitching for the Braves, and their ability at least to

(49:55):
start the series that way, I think I've been very
impressed by that. But then again, the the Rays overall depth,
I think the depth of pitching might be a little
bit better when you really factor in everybody that's involved.
So gosh, I would say, when you really lay it
all out there, I would give a slight edge to
the Braves, but I think it would be a great

(50:16):
series between those two teams, and I would expect it
to be quite a long series, because I'm not sure
that either one would be would be that much better
to be able to sweep it or have a quick
series win over the other. Is there a set date
that the World Series would start? Like, let's presume that,
as seems very likely, the Rays are going to eliminate

(50:37):
the Astros quickly from here now that they're up three. Oh,
and let's say the Braves keep rolling and we're not
talking about like a seven game in LCS series. How
soon would the World Series start or is there a
definite date that we already know it's starting. Well, that's
a great question, Clay. And the World Series UH is
set to begin on Tuesday. Now, would they move it

(51:01):
up if both series are sweeps? Let's say it's possible.
But one of the key considerations, of course, UH, Major
League Baseball is is well aware of the larger sporting
landscape in our country, and and they're very careful to
not schedule World Series games on Monday night and on
Thursday nights. Surprisingly, UH nights said, of course that you

(51:22):
know are big football night, So UH that that is
the way that it's scheduled strategically, of course, and I
would not expect it to change. There might be a
slight chance, a very small one, that that you would
see it change if there are two sweeps, but I
think that it's done obvious for obvious uh television reasons,
and and uh those reasons tend not to change even

(51:44):
if bull series are short. Now this is significant to
there are no days off I'm correct, right in the
n l C s a LCS. But if they go
to the World Series, even though they're not traveling around
two different locations, they're going to give days off, which
would be significant in terms of allowing a guy to pitch,
for instance, two games in a series right exactly, and uh,

(52:09):
no days off this round, which is why there's even
even as the Braves take this two oh lead, which
seems somewhat commanding, um Ian Anderson had to be asked
yesterday after the game, Hey, would you be comfortable going
on short rest because as you know, the Braves effectively
have a three man rotation right now, and and you
need to find a way to cover as many as
five games in a row right now. So there's there's

(52:31):
a real mystery even as the Braves and I think
this is where apart from whatever uh concerned braves fans
have relative to to previous Octobers that didn't go their way. Uh,
there's a very real consideration that if they don't win
Game three, then all of a sudden, they're they're they're
starting pitchers for Game four and five are TB D

(52:51):
and TB D and they really don't know what they
would do there. Uh So I think that in the
in the World Series, it may it will feel a
bit more like a normal series, even there's no travel.
And I do think that these these series, if the
Dodgers win today, I still think it's a it's a
it's a very much up for grab series. Then it's
to one. And I think the Dodgers probably do have

(53:12):
the greater pitching depth in terms of rotation, even though
they've kind of jumbled things up by using May and
relief and make it some different decisions. It's it's it's
a really unique way to kind of manage your pitching
because of the way the schedule works out. This October
three and eight all time I think, sorry, three and
twenty eight all time in Major League Baseball. When a

(53:34):
team goes down O two in a series, So you
think that that that those numbers are not as bad
as it would suggest. For the Dodgers, even though they're
down oh two, right, I think if they win today
and and it's a really interesting favor to win today.
Interesting So it's two young pitchers of course, Julio Urias

(53:54):
for the for the Dodgers and Kyle Wright of course,
of Andy Guy for uh for Atlanta. I think that yeah,
if if the if the Dodgers can find a way
to win this game, then then Game four for the
Braves is a mystery that then they're not sure who
they're going to start, and and it would be theoretically
for the Dodgers Kershaw and so that's depending on how

(54:15):
Clayton feels with the back. Of course, that was why
he was scratched yesterday. So it's it's obviously not this
is not the way the Digers drew it up, clearly,
and it's in and they have I think in in
some ways just by the way they manage their pitching.
And it's not really on Dave Roberts. This is an
organizational philosophy that that I think overrides a lot of
the thought process on how to how to really deploy

(54:38):
your pitching that they've they've kind of managed themselves into
into not really having the full pitching advantage that they
should have, And so I I think that to some extent,
the Braves still have obviously a great chance they're up
to nothing, but even with their apparent lack of rotation
depth on the Atlanta side, I still think that even

(54:58):
even if the Dodgers win Game three tonight, the Braves
still have a very strong chance to win the series.
So it's to me, there's this is we are still
in the very early stages of the series, and that
the Dodgers can find a way to win behind Uriyas tonight,
who has been I think a very good picture for them.
I still think we've got a chant to have a
classic six or seven game and LCS. We're talking to

(55:20):
John Morosey, major League Baseball insider for the show here
on out Kick, but also certainly involved in many different things,
including working with Fox and the MLB network. What is
the vibe in Arlington where the World Series would take place?
How much different does it feel? It's certainly is a
lot more enjoyable I think to watch, even if it's

(55:42):
a reduced crowd in the stadium, whether you're hearing the
tomahawk chant, whether you hear that guy screaming let's go
Dodgers over and over again. How much fun is it
to be in a stadium with fans again, So, Clay,
I should I should clarify. So this I am in
Arlington and I will be at the World Series. This
is act see my week of my week of quarantine

(56:03):
before moving into the quote unquote secure. So you're just
in a hotel room basically getting ready the World Series. Correct, Yeah,
so I'm I'm so I was in the ballpark for
the Division Series, and I am in the area. I
am allowed brief moments of exercise outside of the outside
of my room every day, but for the most part,

(56:23):
for more than twenty three hours a day, I am.
I am confined in my hotel room. But but but fortunately
for me, I can uh watch a lot of great
sports on TV right now. I was. We were texting
during the Texas game over the weekend. I'm impressed. I
was like, man, so you're that's one reason you've been
watching everything, man if exactly. So, it was, It's amazing, Pa,
I was, there's a little there's a little like outdoor

(56:46):
outdoor bar at this at this hotel, so I could like, look,
I'm like looking down out of my window. Of course,
I cannot join them in any way, shape or form.
So I just like watching these Texas fans and Sooners
fans you're reacting to the game. Might hear them out
in my window, but I'm just watching that. To you.
It's it's a very interesting phenomenon right now. But but
it's all for obviously the good reason. I have to

(57:07):
uh quarantine over the balance of the week and then
once I uh, you know pass, I actually I'll be
taking a COVID test later today. Um hopefully I'll be
passing all my tests and then uh and then eventually
I'll be able to get into the secure zone, which
wuld then allow me to do these socially distance interviews
that you've been seeing on on Fox and on TBS
do to those four MLB networks. That that'll be my
assignment for the for the world series will be to

(57:28):
do those interviews from the network. So I'm I'm excited
about it, and it's and it's worth it. And in
the meantime, I've been doing a lot of TV segments
from the room and watching a lot of sports and
and uh following along as at the normally would. By
the time we talked to you next week, the World
Series will officially be underway. It seems like a foregone
conclusion that the as we were talking about earlier, that
the Rays are going to be there. So we'll put

(57:50):
you on the spot here as we finish up. And
I appreciate you being so flexible and hanging out with
us all summer along and now into the fall. Who
were they going to be playing the Ray? They're up
three oh would be a tremendous upset for the Astrois
to win four in a row. We know what's happened
in two thousand four with the Red Sox, But presuming
that's not happening, who's the Rays opponent in the World Series.
It's still it's amazing, Clay. It's still a tough question,

(58:13):
even with the Braves having a to nothing lead. Um,
I'm gonna say the Braves now, I'm sort of changing
now what I what I had said before before the
series began. But I think that they in addition to
everything else that they've got the two oh lead, they
also have I think the more organized bullpen, right now

(58:33):
and and at some point, and that's really gonna matter,
and it's already mattered so far. They nearly of course,
uh had a had a would have been a disastrous
loss in Game two, but they were able to recover
Mark Lanson, Uh, I think very calmly. I was able
to get the last out. So I think because of
the Braves bullpen advantage and because they're pitching is more organized.

(58:55):
Right now, I'm gonna give the edge to Atlanta, even
though I still have some questions about their road station
and and in no way do I think there's gonna
be a sweep. I think overall right now at two
oh advantage goes to the Braves. I know I said
last question, but the old cliche and baseball is momentum
is the next day starting pitcher. Do the Dodgers get
any momentum with the way they finished Game two, even
though they came up short. Yeah, that's a great question,

(59:16):
and I think they will because they're at baths were
we're better, and I think that having a measure of confidence.
Of course, a lot of the a lot of the
at bats they had yesterday is of course, some of
the late ones were against lefties, but um, of course
that they faced a righty starter. They have a righty
starter tonight. I think it's a matter of just kind
of getting back into the strike zone. And Corey Seeger

(59:37):
just talked about how they were they were out of
the strike zone too much the first game and a half,
and then the latter stages of yesterday's game, the at
bats were more more focused. They got in the zone
a bit more, and I think we'll see a similar
approach here, uh to begin Game three. Kyle right though,
he's he's been very very confident here with the way
that he's pitched of late. So I I look for
the Dodgers to win today. I think Rias had a

(59:59):
lot of playoff experience, and I I believe he'll pitch
very well for them, and we'll be talking about two
one series by the time Game three is over. But
very little Clay has gone according to what I expected.
He's so fun the NLCS, so we'll have to see
how it all plays out. I hope you have fun
in the World Series, and I hope you have pants
as tight as Walker Buellers. I'm not sure I can
pull that off, Clay. I'm not that cool. That is

(01:00:21):
John Rosie uh, we gotta get I gotta play some
of that thank you for the time. We gotta play
some of the audio of that. This is outkicked the
coverage with Clay Travis
