Speaker 1 (00:00):
Man, I am anticipating a step back from a studley player.
Details just a minute away. We are broadcasting live from
the tier rack dot Com studios. Tire rack dot Com
will help get you there an unmatched selection, fast free shipping,
free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers.
Tire rack dot com the way tire buying should be. So, Eddie,

(00:25):
we got receiver news right with Brandon Ayyuk. We're gonna
get to that momentarily here. But I'm anticipating a potential
step back from another wide receiver. Okay, Now, this guy
was a stud last season. It was a rookie. Hit
the ground running. He was fantastic. His name is Pooka Nakua. Okay.

(00:45):
He was outstanding for the Rams. His numbers, let's see,
he had one hundred and five catches, nearly fifteen hundred yards,
six touchdowns. Take that for data.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Was great.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Played all seventeen games, eighteen if you include the playoff game.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Eddie.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
I hate to think injury bug at all, but I
can't get it out of my head. He fought through
like these little minor injuries. There are a couple of
games down the stretch in the regular season he got
tackled hard, fell on the ground hard, looked like man,
he might be out for a little bit. Nope. He
fought through it, fought through everything. But this guy was

(01:30):
so banged up in college at BYU. I started off
at Washington, but at BYU he was It seemed like
he was always fighting through something. I had a broken foot,
dealt with that a lot. I just I have a
hard time seeing Poka Nakua being healthy for seventeen games
this season. I'm not saying his numbers are going to
fall off a cliff, but I think he takes a

(01:52):
step back. And for the people into fantasy football or
even gambling, right you can bet on these numbers for
the season, I would fade Pooka Nakua and hopefully I'm
dead wrong, but I think there's some value after he
was studley last season, the numbers are going to be
really high. I just don't think it's smart to say
he's going to duplicate what he did in year one.

(02:14):
I think he takes a step back. It's a little
bit like look at his team at Cooper Cup. Cooper
Cup was a triple Crown winner, right most touchdowns, most
yards receiving, most catches and then he was battling injury.
It's hard. It's hard to stay healthy like that, and
Pooka is a physical player. I don't think he's going
to be healthy all season long. Again. I hope I'm wrong,

(02:36):
but I think I'm going to be right on this one.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Eddie Well, I can certainly understand you saying I think
he won't have numbers like he did a year ago,
probably because Cooper Cup's back that's going to take receptions
away from him, and because he had a phenomenal breakout
here that nobody saw coming. So I don't I mean

(02:58):
as fhear as the health goes, I know he's nicked
up already. Although they're saying he's definitely gonna be ready
for Week one, we'll see. But yeah, I mean, I
understand where you're coming from. But you know, I'm not
gonna say. I wouldn't go so far as to say
he was a fluke. Oh last year him, he played
seventeen games. You know he was a stunt. So but
will his numbers be as good this year as last year?

(03:20):
Probably not.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
No, Yeah, I don't see. I have a hard time
seeing one hundred and five catches around fifteen hundred yards.
The question is if he takes a step back, how
big of a step back. You mentioned he's got a
knee injury right now. He's dealing with that. They expect
him back in Week one, ready to go for the
beginning of the season. But man, it's like if he's

(03:42):
nicked up for a couple of games, or he's got
some lingering issue here or there. I just can't get
it out of my mind, Eddie where he was so
consistently banged up at BYU. And I hope he's turned
a corner obviously health wise, but he plays a physical
brand of football. You know, he's fun to watch, but
I don't think he's I don't think that style is

(04:03):
built to last. I'll put it that way. Right where
we always talk about quarterbacks sliding and avoiding punishment, I'll
tell you what The Rams though, like the greatest show
on turf. Rams that was something they did so well
was both Isaac Bruce and Tory Holt. They got as
much yardage as they could, and then when they saw

(04:23):
there was no more yardage to be gained, they got
down and they avoided getting hit and hit and hit
and hit. And that's not really what Puka does. Like,
he's the fun player. He's kind of like the Troy
Polamalu of receivers, you know, but I just had that style. Man.
I'll put it this way, Eddie, and I'll try to

(04:45):
look up the gambling numbers. I'm kind of curious what
they are with his receptions or receiving yards. That is
a dicey bet. If you're like, man, I got Puka
over whatever it is, thirteen hundred yards receiving, just the
style ile he plays, I think he'd be sweating that
out on a week to week basis because you don't
know if he's going to be upright and healthy enough.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Uh yeah, yeah, I agree.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, I gotta get you the receiving yards and so
I'll look that up. But uh yeah, it's uh so,
maybe a receiver that you do care about, Brandon a.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Yuk, Well, I might care a lot about him.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yeah, what are you thinking about land?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I might really not care about him.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yeah that's true, Right, he could go there. So here's
my question. What Mary kay Cabot, Right, she's all over
Cleveland Brown's news, and she says, if if Brandon ay
Yuk is traded to the Browns. Maybe the Niners would
get Amari Cooper in return. Maybe could be on the table.

(05:55):
So my question to you is, if you goes to
the Steelers, who might the Niners be interested in to
get in return?

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Right?

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Is there anybody they're not giving.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Out of the receiver position. There's not.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, So what could really sweeten the deal for the
Niners making a move with the Steelers?

Speaker 2 (06:16):
I don't know, to be totally honest with you. That's
why I think Cleveland probably has the leg up here.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I don't think he gets dealt.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, I think he does. I mean, if I were
the forty nine Ers, I wouldn't do it. I would
make him. You know, it's your call. What are you
gonna do? Now? You know what I mean? Is he
gonna sit out the season? He's gonna do a Le'Veon Bell?
Probably not so. I I don't look, they're they're they're

(06:48):
obviously super Bowl contenders. You're not gonna give up a
really talented guy for nothing. So they're gonna sit back
and you know, wait for what they need. But what
the Steelers could give up for them, I really don't.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Oh no, yeah, I don't know what they would love.
There's no one. They're not giving him George Pickens, that's obvious.
They drafted Roman Wilson in the third round, they picked
up Van Jefferson. There there's no one that's no you know,
like a Marii Cooper like, uh so, yeah, that's like

(07:22):
I don't see them just trading Ayuk and saying, well,
you know, I guess we just lost our number one receiver.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
About would they be interested in some nice insurance for McCaffrey.
Would they be interested in Naja Harris? So? I think
the Steelers would would give up on him. I think
Jalen Warren could actually fill his shoes pretty capably. I
don't know, just throwing it out there.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Yeah, I don't see it where I get what you're saying.
But we're talking about a number one wide receiver in
a passing league, you know, and they're trying to go
all in before they have to pay Brock Purty. So
I just don't see how they would say, hey, we
got some good insurance, some really good insurance for McCaffrey.

(08:06):
They gotta have a receiver. You can't expect like Ricky
Piersoll to hit the ground running as a rookie, you know,
I'll still be I'll believe it when I see it.
If he's in a different uniform, like it could happen.
Maybe there's a bit of a stalemate going on here,
but I just they're in go for it mode. Eddie.

(08:28):
You know this is an all in moment for the Niners,
and they could franchise tag him next season. Like you said,
is this a La'veon Bell type thing? I don't think so.
So Yeah, if it really came down to it, and
if I'm the Niners, they'd probably be better off calling
his bluff saying we don't think you're gonna sit out
all season long if we don't show you the money

(08:50):
right here. But we can't trade you to Cleveland or
trade you to Pittsburgh and not have a legitimate number
one receiver. I know Deebo Samuel's fan task, but you're
losing a number one receiver and I yuk. You gotta
get something to return receiver wise, So I don't.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Think he's back there. Yeah, the Steelers don't have that.
If that's what they're looking for in return, they don't
have that. So it's Cleveland or nowhere.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
I would say, Yeah, the Patriots are out of the
mix here. Okay, So what do you think, Eddie? Now
I didn't know this, I just looked it up. I
don't know what my guess would have been. But Pooka
Nakua fourteen hundred and eighty six receiving yards last season.
What do you think the betting number is this season

(09:34):
for receiving yards for our guy Puka? Where you think
it's at?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Well, considering I don't do a ton of gambling and
things like this, and I don't play fantasy football anymore,
I'll say, uh, twelve hundred.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yards, that's pretty good. Guess it's at eleven hundred and
fifty and a half.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
I think, God, that half is in there.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
I gotta have the half in there. But isn't that
a that's a bit. They're anticipating a big drop off.
That's over three hundred yards in lost production from last
season this season, so they anticipated Also, what do you
think about that? Would you take the under? Eddie? We're
talking over three hundred yards. We're talking you'd have to

(10:18):
have three hundred and thirty six. You'd have to have
three hundred and thirty six fewer yards this season than
last season. What do you think should take the under?

Speaker 2 (10:29):
On that.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Sure, I got the under on that. I hope I'm
wrong unless I'm betting the under on that, which I
probably will. I think he's gonna take a step back unfortunately.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Will you take bets?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah, Eddie, you should have your own sports book. You
hear this. With draft caps, they're gonna be they're charging
certain states, like if you live in a state, they're
gonna charge you attacks on your winning bets. So we
need the Eddie Garcia sports book to open here. I
don't think you would do something like that, right, No,

(11:05):
I probably would fire text.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Yeah, well, Lorena, as I do take bets kind of
for fun, you know, like I did with Brian back
in the day and you had to go stand in
a fountain oh across the street. So yeah, something fun
like that. Yeah. Yeah, I don't bet with Ben anymore
because he never pays off his bets and exactly he's
a low life, no good wel chair on his bets,

(11:31):
so scoundrel. Yeah, I would say that's a good term
as well. So no fun, Eddie, what.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Would you thought of What would you have thought of
me if I lost the Browns bet and never paid
it off? I would say you were a dirty rat
right exactly. Yeah, I have such respect for you paying
that thing off. You did it in grand fashion too.
You know you did like the taroll Owens. Remember when
he went to the Star in Dallas and put his

(11:59):
arms to the side, and look, that's kind of what
you did before hopping into the fountain across the FSR studios.
It was great, my favorite radio.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I mean, I didn't like losing that bet, that's for sure,
but you know, you got to be a man of
your word.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Oh man, and you you Eddie, you were not just
outspoken about me with the Browns, you know, you were
calling me names and just right, you had no choice
but to pay that bet.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Sure. Yeah, And of course that was the one season
the Browns have actually done something in the last decade
and a half.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
I know, it's it's pretty crazy how that worked out,
all right, eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. Feel
free to check in, Militia. We love hearing from you.
If you're waiting, we'll get right to you coming up next.
So we got the Militia and I have an investigative
question for our own justin Cooper, Okay, something I saw

(12:59):
I just I'm curious what the explanation is, so we'll
get you that right around the corner. He's Eddie Garcia.
I'm Brian. Now we're in for Big Ben Malor right
here on Fox Sports Radio.

Tech Queen because Aliveletirack dot Com, Fox Sports Radio Studios
in for Ben Maller.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
It's Brian No, thank you, Eddie. So I saw something
random today, very very random. I just saw on Venmo.
Actually I had to make a payment and you know
how they have used Venmo at all, Eddie sometimes yeah, yeah,
so you know how they have the feed and they
just show everybody's transactions and a little description of it,

(14:46):
that sort of thing. So I saw our guy justin
Cooper Coop was on this thing and there was a
payment from I don't know if it's Dominique, and it
just super freaky with three wives, and I'm like, what
the hell is this all about, Coop, what's the deal

(15:09):
with this man?

Speaker 6 (15:10):
Uh my very close friend Tomnique, who was actually my
best woman at my wedding. Okay, uh my wife and
Lorena and I all went to a restaurant at the
Cosmopolitan called Super Freako.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Okay, yeah, yeah, So that was that was That's all.
It was payment from that because you could see from
my standpoint where I'm like, wait a minute, what's what's
the deal here with the Coop's a happily married man,
you know, and this mystery woman to say this is
super freaky. This is the payment of it. So it

(15:46):
all comes out, it's on the up and up. Huh Coop,
Everything's fine, that's right, that's good.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
You know.

Speaker 7 (15:51):
I know people who have been caught cheating from payments
like that, have you, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
So they don't make the payment private, right, and then
they get busted.

Speaker 7 (16:03):
That Yeah, they're like, why did you send so and
so fifty dollars? Why are you even talking to them?

Speaker 1 (16:10):
And your spot is blown up immediately. Huh mmm. Not good,
not good. I think that would be a Queen of
hearts one oh one, right, like, don't make the payment
on venmo public.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
You gotta be better about it. If you're gonna cheat,
you better sneak.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Gotta be a little smarter about that, Eddie. You think
this is smart, a smart approach. We'll take it to
the world of the NFL. Here, Lamar Jackson. He's slimmed
down quite a bit. Raven's quarterback Rainy.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
And he was pretty fat, as I.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Recall, Yeah, he said that. Uh oh, actually no, it's
funny say that because he said he lost weight after
feeling fat and slower is why he's lost this weight.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Okay, did you.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
See a slow fat Lamar Win MVP last season, Eddie?

Speaker 2 (17:03):
I did not.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
I didn't either. I don't understand this. The last criticism
you will hear about Lamar is that man, he's just
he's slow, right, I don't understand this approach. And look,
I don't think that having he had a little bit
more bulk last season. I thought that helped him. The
biggest knock on Lamar is injury wise. He's banged up

(17:29):
sometimes at the worst time, and then it's the playoff yips.
If he will, he hasn't gotten it done in the playoffs.
He hasn't had great success in the postseason. Those are
the knocks. It's the injury bug and it's the playoffs.
The knock is not being fat or slower. I don't
know what he's talking about right there, And I'm not

(17:49):
gonna say because he slimmed down, it's injury bug city
this season. But I don't know, Eddie. I think having
a little bit extra mass. I think it helped Lamar.
I don't think that it was. He lasted the entire season,
you know. I think having a little bit bulk of
bulk helped him. I don't think it hurt him. So

(18:09):
I don't know why you would slim down after a
season of being upright the whole year. But hey, I.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Guess there's no harm in being as fit as possible.
But I think he needs to work on his passing
accuracy more than his diet or anything personally.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
But okay, yeah, yeah, that's okay, all right, interesting right there?
This is another one, Eddie where caught my attention. We'll
stick with the QBS Josh Allen Bill's quarterback every now
and then you'll see a headline and maybe they're just
looking for clicks. Maybe that's all this is. But the
headline was Josh Allen's digs quote. Right, He's talking about

(18:49):
Stefan Diggs and it says, Wow, he gave a really
interesting response when asked about does he miss Stefan Diggs
at all? You tell me, Eddie, is this an interesting response?
Is this like an eyebrow raising response from Josh Allen?
Check this out at any point during camp.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Missed Stefan.

Speaker 8 (19:12):
I mean, I think Steph's a great player and what
he brought to this team was was special.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
So miss is is?

Speaker 8 (19:21):
I don't know if i'd say miss You know, he
was a guy that was reliable, you can you can
look to He's gonna have the juice each and every day.
I'm sure he's bringing over there in Houston. So definitely, yeah,
you can't say that you don't miss that. But I
am very happy with what we got going on here
and how hard the guys have been working.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
And yeah, is there anything interesting about Is there anything like? Whoa?

Speaker 2 (19:44):
No? Not to me?

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Nothing? Right?

Speaker 2 (19:47):
I mean if he says yes, then he sounds like
he is not confident in his current receivers. That's how
they're going to spin it, right, you know, Josh Allen
not confident in his in his receivers without digs here
or something like that. Yeah, no, I had no issue
with that.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
I didn't either. I didn't think anything was eyebrow raising.
I think he danced around it pretty well, because that's
a tricky one. You don't want to be like, oh no,
I don't miss the fun at all. Stefan. Who what's it? Diggs?

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (20:15):
I don't even remember, you know what I mean like that,
But yeah, you don't want to shade your current receiver.
I thought he did a good job with that. I
don't think that was interesting at all. This is good audio, Eddie.
We were talking about Brandon Nyuk and this was recently.
Tom Pelisero on NFL Network not fond at certain reporters

(20:40):
and their reports of Ayuk being on the move or
either agreeing to a deal with the Nighters. Check this out, Eddie.
I think it's very funny.

Speaker 9 (20:48):
Well, Mike, it depends if you choose to listen to
people who bought blue check parks on social media to
pretend that they have information, and then the scam as
they do it, is they take real information bits and pieces, and.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Then they try to do the fake thing where.

Speaker 9 (21:02):
They say this is now done, where they're really just
guessing and they're hoping, and then they just pretend the
nine things they got wrong didn't actually happen, and then
they'll just be like when they get one right, like
oh look at this over here. So no, there is
no trade done to the Pittsburgh Steelers. There is no
trade done to any other team.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
No.

Speaker 9 (21:19):
The Brohog and the DApp the other day does not
mean Brandon Ayuk has agreed to terms on a new
contract with the San Francisco forty nine ers. Well, I
can tell you, since this is the Insiders, this is
a show that you should trust for accurate information and
not whatever somebody has decided to aggregate and misrepresent for
their own benefit. Is that there certainly have been trade

(21:40):
discussions surrounding Brandon Ayu.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Okay, so not fond of certain reports out there as
Tom Pelisero, I get it, Eddie, right, Like you know,
if these want to be reporters are just taking bits
and pieces and calling their shot and hoping to be right.
I get that it would annoy him. But that was
funny audio. I felt like you didn't think the Jim

(22:04):
Harbaugh audio was fantastic. What did you think about the
Tom Pelisero audio? Right there, Eddie?

Speaker 2 (22:09):
I like it. I think he's right. There will certainly
be occasions I will scroll, you know, through x Twitter
and see a name or you know, an account that
appears to be something legitimate. Right, it's got like an
NFL logo in there somewhere, right, you know, in the

(22:30):
blue check marks. As he said, you can now buy that,
and it looks like it's got all the wrapping paper
of a legitimate account. And then you know, you see
something that's provocative and you're like, what's this And then
you scroll through and you see, you know, some of
the other things that have been put out there, and
it's just, yeah, it's it's mostly a bunch of crap.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, not a not a fan of the
sort of like hybrid slash sort of stolen reports. Right,
That's basically what he's talking about right there. So yeah,
put one blast. I thought that was entertaining. Okay, we're
gonna get to the militia here momentarily. First though, Eddie
Garcia is with us. We got the Olympics live right now.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Eddie.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
It's like sometimes I'm not up at three point thirty
Central time, you know, and I'm like, I'm missing out
on the I'm happy to be awake right now. We
got live stuff going on right here. This is great.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
We do what is this? We got the shotput going.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
On, shotput going on with Yeah, it's awesome.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Ben Mellor
Show weekdays at two am Eastern eleven pm Pacific.

Speaker 1 (23:37):

(24:20):
It's all furnished by tire rack dot Com the way
tire buying should be. You know, Eddie, you were talking
about that crazy like come from behind win from Quincy Hall.
This is how it sounded on NBC Lee Diffy redeeming himself.
Remember he screwed up the one hundred meter call. He
messed that up, but he got the four hundred meters

(24:41):
call right on the money. Check this outside qu that

(25:08):
was a pretty good call, right, did you see the
highlights of that eddie where it looked like, Yeah, it
was like we called it in high school, booty lock
or you hear a lot like the piano is on
your back, that's what you look like. You look like.
He was in full booty lock slash piano on the
back mode and somehow like gain ground on all the

(25:31):
leaders and one. It was amazing what he did right there.
Shout out to Quincy Hall. That was crazy.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Yeah, that was pretty cool. I have to say, in
all honesty, a lot of the play by play calls
i've heard, yeah, have been pretty crappy. Really, yeah, I'm
not been a fan of a lot of the broadcasters
over there at the Olympics that I've heard.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Yeah, well, this was the biggest one with the one
hundred meters with Lee Diffy messed this up, which was
dead wrong.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
You know, how could he make that call when it
looked like four guys all hit the line at the
same time. I mean, you just got to say photo finish.
I mean, yeah, who knows with that? But like there
was that. I still don't really know what happened, but
the the US one bronze and rugby, and they scored
like on the final play of the game, as times

(26:27):
inspired and the call was garbage.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
It was what is.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Going on with Like I remember back in the day
you had Al Michaels doing calls and Howard Cosell was
doing boxing, and you had like all these A listers.
I don't even know who any of these people are
nowadays doing these these calls. Yeah, I guess the swimming guys.
Dan Hicks, I know him.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
A lot of these broadcasts I don't know who they are,
and they're not that good.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
It's a great point with the rugby call. I wish
I had that because it was it was an electric moment,
you know for US rugby. You even mentioned it where
there was like a four million dollar donation after that.
It was so inspiring, like and the call was just
like she breaks free and she's gonna score. Wow, it's

(27:20):
a great call. It was a terrible call. And I
don't know, man, I don't know how you screw up
the one hundred meter dash where like you said, it
was so close, it was five like one thousandths of
a second. That's what was the difference. How do you
say that? Look to me, like Jamaica got this thing.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
And it's wrong.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
It's bad. Man, that's a mistake right there. For sure. Hey,
our guy, Sir scratch Off is with us. Let's get
the militia in here, Eddie, shall we, Sir scratch Off?
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (27:53):
Man?

Speaker 1 (27:53):
You're on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Man, I'll tell you what now, my friend, I've been
on here a long time.

Speaker 9 (28:01):
My god, I started taking nap.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
I'm taking that. You'll call me on radio. So two
hours later I get on Mandatory or you know.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
You know.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
My favorite thing in the world is Brian.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
I love. I love when listeners complain and waste time,
yes winning.

Speaker 6 (28:14):
Yeah, when when they wait on hold and the first
thing they do when they get on is talk about
how long we got we're on hold for?

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Yeah, just belly ache, And it really is. It's a
ray of sunshine.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
I look forward to this.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
It makes me want to just end the phone call
so that you wasted your entire night holding just to
complain and then not even get your pipe feel.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
The same way. And then I'm like, then we would
be ridding ourselves of an epic phone call soon to be.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Oh, I'm sure it's gonna be epic.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
And I'll tell you what.

Speaker 9 (28:42):
Run this show, right, it's malicious.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
Help me out here, bro. Where are you man?

Speaker 6 (28:47):
Anyway?

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Who you didn't run that phone call?

Speaker 7 (28:51):
Darn looks like his phone got disconnected.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Oh man, that's wow, man, Wow, complain and then kind
of crap talking.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
It's the double dip there.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
And then you know, I heard from our guy, Mike
the Leprechaun Eddie.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah he started with us, right, he's continued on.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Oh he DMed me Eddie. Oh yeah he was. Uh,
that's the next best thing. Coop is not just the
you know when you're like, hey, let's hear it from
sir scratch off, and it's just like I've been waiting,
what the hell? Yeah, it's getting the DM from someone
who wasn't put on the air in a sufficient amount

(29:34):
of time. Mike the Leprechaun was not happy with me.
Eddie was not happy. He didn't go crazy on me,
but he was just like, yo, what the hell.

Speaker 7 (29:43):
He's like the word vomitter of social media right now? Yeah,
I open it and there's like eight new posts from
Mike the Leprechaun every time.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Oh he's getting down with it. Huh, he's all over it.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yeah, Brian, I know it is just probably bad radio,
so let's do it. Uh, we've been talking about what
we've been watching on the Olympics.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Did you just see that that lady from the US
and the shot put there? What's going on with that?

Speaker 1 (30:06):
She the face something, she had a full on.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Like ski mask.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Maybe there's something there that I don't want to make
fun if there's, you know, some health reason or something.
But that was a very unique look. Uh, You're on
the greatest, the biggest stage in the world, and I'm
going to cover my entire head with this like black stocking.
I don't know what that was all about.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
I don't either. I yeah, I can.

Speaker 6 (30:32):
I cannot watch this event without that. And maybe maybe
both of you are it's a generation too late for this,
but I cannot.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Watch a little bit.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
Not but I didn't say those words.

Speaker 6 (30:49):
I cannot watch this event without thinking of the trunch
ball from from Matilda.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
No, no, I'm sorry, trench ball. Yeah you calls lunchable. No,
I said, obviously, I'm hungry.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Tell me they just had the I don't know, it's
like the one hundred or one ten meter hurdles and
right before the race. I don't know if you're watching it, Eddie,
but they go by each sprinter, right, they show them,
they show a close up of them.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
They introduce them, right, yeah, theyout.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
It's not the introduction. They're almost in the starter's blocks.
They just go one by one by one and they
just show them right before the race. It's the one
hundred meter hurdles. And I don't know who the smoke
show is. I've seen her before.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
The one that kind of does the little dance.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Yes, like the little she's kind of like side to
sidere sort of like sticking her hips out. And she's
a beautiful one.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
We're calling card. I don't know her name, but I
know the move.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Yeah, that's right. And then I'm like, okay, let's see
how she does smoked dead last, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Well, and it doesn't matter, and she has to do
her thing before the race because she's not gonna do
anything during the race.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
To get Yeah. Yeah, that's the way it goes. It's
like the pole vaulter. You know, he's twelve.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
But they all have their little thing, the thing they do.
Some of them just wave, but some of them that
do the thing with the heart pan thing. Uh huh yeah,
give a little little wink at the.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Little Yeah, just did the little wink right there.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
And then our girl Lynn is just all about business.
She's like, you know what, I'm not that hot. I'm
here to win.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
She's a butterface.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Huh yeah. If I could bet real fast before the race,
you know, Lynn might be the one to back. I'm
not sure, all right, eight seven, seven ninety nine on
Fox We're gonna hear from the militia coming up next.
The question is will the militia complain when they get
on the air. I don't know. We'll find out. And

(32:59):
and interesting finger story in the world of sports. He
might be saying, what we'll explain that as well. He's
Eddie Garcia, I'm Brian. No, We're in for Big Ben

So are we thinking he was winning right now?

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (35:15):
For a radio the little wink though in the last
three she won, so.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
Yeah, that's true. Okay, Clay, Okay, Clay, we'll go play
by play. So she just did her name tag. She
just kind of like across just like Clay. That's right, heurala.
She just waves to the crowd. Nothing to al right,
our girl with syllables, a lot of syllables, just waving.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Oh she's winning right there.

Speaker 6 (35:40):
Which one Palahala from Finland?

Speaker 1 (35:46):
What did she do? Coop? Why do you say that?

Speaker 6 (35:48):
She just uh had that like kind of serious like
I'm not gonna smile look on her face like it
was just yes, except yeah, there we go.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
That's that's the proper terminology.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
We're getting set for the one hundred meter hurdles on
the lady's side here, what are your last picks? What
do you say? I say, woo, is no better than sixth?
You know, she's clearly the hotty of this.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Yeah, she just she she can just run straight into
my heart. I know which race she's winning.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
Yeah, what do you say, Eddie? Where did she finish? Oh?

Speaker 3 (36:29):
The one, the one that I've pitched?

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Was that?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Was that?

Speaker 3 (36:30):
The one? Yes?

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Yes, it was.

Speaker 4 (36:35):
Yeh.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
Look at that. Wow, case she's been a wind damn.

Speaker 6 (36:43):
Now see that's what it was. Too much smiling before
the race for all those other women.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Well what did Simone Biles say?

Speaker 7 (36:51):
Like, I'll smile when I've done my what I've trained for, right,
something like that?

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Oh wow, she's throwing in some sim boles.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Clothes they kept. They keep on showing wu as if
she was expected to finish higher. She finished around fourth ish,
respectable fourth ish? I thought, so like the fourth, third,
fourth or fifth somewhere in there.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Yeah, those last few hurdles, she she lost some ground.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
Man, it's unfortunate right there. That's all right, we'll get
them next time.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
WU.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
So is this like the semi final heat or is
this the end? I think it's just this is tremendous radio.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
But well it is better than a scratch off call.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
Well that's true. What would you rate that call there, Eddie?

Speaker 2 (37:42):
That was it was short and sweet. I thought it
was great.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Yeah, okay, scratch them off like a tick man. I'm
gonna say who she was fourth or fifth? Wu, that's it.
She might have got the torso in for fourth, but yeah,
winter heat three, Heirala shout out to her. We're gonna
hear from our guy Jed who fled woo distracted us.

(38:10):
It's her fault, you know. And then there wasn't enough
time for Jeds. We'll get that in the top of
the hour right there. Also back to the Olympics here,
Coop's got some interesting facts and figures, and I got
a finger story that I think is tremendous. That's all
on the way
