Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh what is going on? Hope your early Wednesday morning
is off to a fantastic start. Mary Christmas Eve, Happy
Holidays for the non Christmas Eve observers, you know, Happy
holidays to you guys too. Absolutely, hope everything is swell.
Got all my Christmas shopping done and one fell swoop.
By the way, there's a story attached to that. I'll
(00:21):
tell you in a second, and I'll get two sports
thoughts as well. You know, I'll be a bad guy
when it comes to a certain quarterback not named bo Nicks.
Good news for you, Coop was bracing for impact not
bo Nicks related, not yet, at least. For over forty years,
tire Reck's been helping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive, ship fast and free back
(00:42):
by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options like
mobile tire installation, tire rack dot Com. The way tire
buying should be. So on the way to Christmas shopping
on Tuesday, I hit a snat fo okay, so the
day before tonight before I was sorry to say this,
(01:03):
but I was driving well texting you know so and
don't do that. I know, and I learned the hard
way Lorraina. And this is a good public service announcement
for anybody who's thinking about doing this or doing this
right now while they're listening. Not a good idea. So
I went off the road a little bit and the
boom into a big old pothole is what happened to
(01:24):
yours truly. And I'm like, okay, are we good? Are
we good? We're still going?
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Tire? Flat? Tire? Seems okay, all right, we should be
all right. I think I don't know. But then today,
then today things took a turn. So I'm driving and
then I get the little light on my car where
it's like, ah, you got a tire that's a little
bit low. I's like, all right, let me see. It's
a little cold here in Indiana. So I'm like, well,
maybe that's what did it. Maybe it's, you know, the
(01:52):
tire pressure's down just because it's so cold out. Maybe
instead of like thirty three, it's at twenty eight. Yeah,
let's put a little air in it. Yeah, being logical, Yeah,
I looked at it, Loraina. It was down at nine.
Oh no, that's supposed to me at thirty three. It's
at nine. I'm like, oh, this is not good. So
I go straight to the tire store and you know,
(02:14):
it's like two o'clock. They're like, yeah, we'll probably get
this done at like seven forty two. I'm like, good lord, dude,
you're serious right now.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
I'm surprised you weren't driving on rims at that point.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
I know it can't change your own tire.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Well, it wasn't about that. Yeah, I thought that I
had a flat you know, I thought I just go
to discount tire, shout out to them, and they fix
it if it's a flat tire. You know, if you
buy tires there, they just fix your tire. So that's
what I went there, and hopefully they're going to repair
the tire. So in the meantime, I'm like, good lord,
I got like five hours. I'm just Christmas shopping on foot.
I'm hoofing it. I'm going here, there, everywhere getting stuff done.
(02:51):
They finally call back and they're like, yeah, so it's
your wheel. They're like, your whole wheel is just bent
to hell basically, and so they're like, yeah, you need
new wheel. And so you know it's like this that, well,
we have wheels of our own, but it's not gonna
look the same. I'm like, dude, I need the same wheels,
man like, and they're like, all right, we got to
(03:11):
go through the dealers. It's gonna be expensive. And they
quoted me. They're like, it's gonna be seven. I'm sorry,
five seventy seven. Holy's what they said. I'm like, goodness, man,
just for texting while driving. Goodness, We're gonna have been
way worse, way worse than that. I think this is
like a yo, don't do this. This is a healthy
reminder of like, don't do this. Luckily you didn't hit
(03:34):
anybody or they do damage to yourself, like really off
road in it. And I'm like, hey man, can you
do anything for me? Can you give me some sort
of discount, some deal anything, And he's like, let me,
let me check real quick. When we came back, and
he's like, he goes, I could do everything for five
thirty two. And I'm like, hey man, sounds guys, better
(03:54):
than you know, five seventy seven. That's fine, just do it.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
I mean, that's honestly not not bad that crazy. Something
similar has happened to me. Really yeah. It's because you know,
I'm pretty aware of other drivers and whatnot, and so
it's like it's not that Like un Plus, I'm driving
home from work and it's three something in the.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Morning and there's nobody on the road.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
There's like maybe two other cars. But you gotta like
be thinking about the other stuff, not not just other cars,
other stuff, like you said, like a pothole, And in
my case, it was a giant trash bind like one
of those what yes, like like one of those you know,
large bins that you would see in the back of
like a landscaper's truck, right, and it's you know, and
(04:43):
it's it's three thirty in the morning, it's really dark outside.
It was like a black bin and I didn't see
it in the road and it just you know, I
looked down and I'm texting and all of a sudden
it's bam, And I'm like, what was that?
Speaker 1 (04:56):
No, kid, Yeah that's not good. Yeah that's bad. Yeah yeah, man,
you never know. That's the thing. I feel like I'm
an excellent Texter while driving, but it's still not safe
at all.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
So yeah, I'm great at using my eyes when they're
not on the road.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Yeah, I'm quick, you know, Lorena, Like I'm not. I
don't take ten seconds away from the road. I'm like,
I'm like an NFL quarterback. You know, you got to
have the internal clock right five seconds the ball's got
to come out, all right, that's the same thing. You
glance at the phone. We're talking one point five seconds
out of max what like a like you're back to
(05:33):
the road.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Hey, you said you went to tire Rack though.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
No discount tire Tireck is dead to me just because
they fired me, you know, like, no, no, no great
company outstanding. You know they advertise with Fox Sports Radio.
But yeah, they fired me. So no, I'm not going back.
It's personal with me in the rack, you know, it's
how it goes. Okay, So I gotta be the bad
(05:58):
guy here, gotta be the bad guy. But what I'm
saying it's true, or what I'm saying is the truth
right here when it comes to one Lamar Jackson, Raven's quarterback.
What's the deal with Lamar Jackson? You ask, Well, we
have the official designation from his injury that knocked him
(06:22):
out of the game on Sunday night against the Patriots.
The head coach John Harbaugh has come out and said
that it is let me see hold on because I
had it in my notes. I have so many notes
right here. It's crazy, like I'm just looking down. We've
got Philip Rivers in the rundown, Notre Dame. I don't
know if I'm gonna get to them. Oh, Stafford's here.
(06:45):
Coop was ticked off at me on Sunday. We've got that.
Let's see playoff scenarios. Got all kinds of stuff, Draymond Green,
gosh Anti tanking, all kinds of stuff, Lots lots of content.
Machine over here. Oh here it is Lamar Jackson. Sorry,
but the the official injury designation what caused him to
(07:05):
miss most of the game Sunday night against the Patriots.
It was a loss for the Ravens, big setback. It
is what's known as too much sand in the vagina.
Is what the official injury designation is for Lamar Jackson.
It's a he's day to day with a Sandy Vijay.
Is what happened. Listen, you gotta get he's got a
(07:27):
back contusion, all right, That's what the real thing is,
me being a radio idiot. The other part of it.
He has a back contusion, which sounds severely Kyle, I
didn't know what a contusion was years ago. It's a
running joke with my mom, which is like, oh, you
might have a contusion. It's a bruise. It's a bruise. Okay,
(07:48):
now listen, like a back contusion. I'm not saying it's
a walk in the park. I'm not saying it isn't painful,
but it's something you can play with, you can get
back on the field in a game you gotta have.
And yet here we are again. Now before I go further,
let me just say this for anyone out there, I
know that Lamar Man he's got some ride or die
(08:11):
folks with him in his corner that are like wolverines
ready to pounce on the slightest thing that said that's
critical of their guy, Lamar. I like Lamar. It's that personal.
The one thing I'll say about Lamar that I absolutely
love about the guy. He never threw it in our face.
Like before he was in the NFL, there was all
(08:32):
this talk about is he gonna be a wide receiver.
He's answering questions during the NFL combine like, Hey, are
you gonna work out with the receiver? He's like, no, sir,
I'm a quarterback. Are you gonna like run forties with
the wide receipt. No, no, I'm a quarterback. He never
threw it in our face. That is a two time MVP,
probably should have been a three time MVP, and he
(08:53):
never was Like MVP. Now what you thought I was
gonna be a wide receiver, I'm an MVP. What do
you have to say? No, he never threw it in our face.
He's been a total pro. I love Lamar for that.
I really respect him for that. So trust me when
I say this, This is not critical to a fault.
I'm not a Lamar hater. I don't feel any certain
(09:14):
way about the guy. It's nothing like that at all.
Just trust that I'm telling you something that's not born
out of emotion. I'm just telling you something that's born
out of football, which is I know this, and I'm
not telling you that Lamar never guts it out ever.
Like look at this season. He's been dealing with a knee,
(09:36):
a hamstring, a calf, and ainkle. Like he's got all
these injuries. It's greatly affected his production, the way he
plays his style. It's affected him quite a bit. But
he's gotten out there and he's got it through it.
So I don't want to make it sound like he
doesn't play through anything, but I know this a back contusion.
(09:57):
Day to day, you realize howm gonna quarterbacks in the
past and currently in the NFL who have been back
on the field with the exact same injury. A lot
of quarterbacks, and that is the issue right there. Your
playoff lives are hanging by a thread. You are neck
(10:17):
and neck with the Steelers who won earlier in the
day against Detroit. You need this game. This is a
gotsa have it game, and you end the game with
Tyler Huntley on the field because Lamar isn't out there
again with a back contusion, and he's now day to day.
(10:38):
You gotta suck it the bleep up and get your
ass back on the field. That's the bottom line. You
can't tell me with a straight face. Oh, Josh Allen
with a back contusion. Yeah, I don't think he finishes
the second half. Yeah right, he is out there, man.
There are a lot of quarterbacks that would do that.
(11:00):
Mahomes now, people look at Mahomes playing right now, he's injured.
He's a torn acl and I think it's his torn
ace at LCL. He's got two torn knee ligaments. He
is injured. All right, it can't go no chance, know how.
All right, he's on the shelf until next season. That's
(11:20):
being injured, being hurt, having like an awi, having something
that's really painful. But you can suck it up and
get back out there. Yeah, you gotta suck it up
and get back out there. You gotta do it. I remember.
Speaker 6 (11:33):
Now.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
I'm not saying this is apples to apples in terms
of injury. But Peyton Manning he had a thumb injury
in the AFC Championship game against the Patriots years ago.
It was the game that they won. They were losing
by a lot. They were down like twenty one to
six early on twenty one to three something like that
came all the way back won the game. But during
that game, Peyton messed up his thumb and he's like
(11:58):
like the backup is warming up. And during that game,
Jeff Saturday, the center, went up to Peyton Manning is like, brother,
you gotta go right, like, you gotta get back on
the field, like, suck it up. Find a way. I
don't know what to find a way. I don't care
if it's bent east and west and north at the
same time, like it's like the uh, it's like Lombard
(12:19):
Street in San Francisco, the Crooked Street. You know, I
don't care if your thumb looks like that, Peyton, Suck
it up and get back out there. Bro, you gotta go.
You can't tell me that it's it's all right that
Lamar in that situation, they're up by eleven points somehow,
(12:41):
and the lead just fizzles away as Lamar misses the
entire second half with a back contusion, a back bruise
day to day going forward. Bro, you gotta go. You
gotta get out there. Man, there are so many quarterbacks
(13:01):
right now that would be out there. You're telling me
Baker Mayfield wouldn't be out there, Patrick Mahomes wouldn't be
out there. Yeah, Mahomes has two tor kneelig amits. He
can't play with that. But Mahomes with a back contusion,
You think he's knocked out for the entire second half.
Hell no, come on, man, Like I love Lamar, but dude,
this is indefensible. You can't defend this with a straight face.
(13:26):
I don't care. He's got a legion of backers and
dudes that come rushing to his defense. You can't come
rushing to his defense for this. It's indefensible. Dude, get
back on the field. It is football. It's not a
walk in the park. It's not gonna be roses. You're
not gonna feel great. You're gonna be in agonizing pain.
(13:47):
Sometimes yeah, comes with the territory. But bro, you can't
help the club from the tub. And that's the deal
with him. He's in the tub too much. With being hurt.
He's injured. I'm not going on and on about this
at all. But he's hurt, and you can play with
(14:09):
one of those awis with being hurt. You tell me
farv he's got a back contusion. It's like, oh, man,
I can't go in the second half. Yeah, man, Week
sixteen playoff lives just hanging by a thread. I'm sorry, man,
my back, man, it hurts. No come on, come on, dude,
suck it up and get out there. I'll be the
(14:29):
bad guy. You know a lot of people are like, oh,
I don't like to question anyone's toughness. I'll question your
toughness all day when it comes to this exactly a
back contusion day to day. Come on, man, and you
lose a game with Tyler Huntley on the field as
the Patriots scored two straight touchdowns and walk out of
(14:51):
there with the twenty eight to twenty four win. You
need the Steelers to lose out and you have to
win out these final two weeks. Whew, that's rough. Like
think of this. The scenario would be if the Ravens
win that game on Sunday, they beat the Patriots, well,
(15:12):
as long as you win in week seventeen, it comes
down to Week eighteen for the division. Now that's not
the scenario. If the Steelers beat the Browns, you're dead.
Your season is over. You don't control your own path
because you lost that game to the Patriots. That's the
situation the Ravens are in right now. They do not
(15:34):
control their path to the playoffs. They have to have
the Steelers lose to the Browns to give them a chance.
That's what they have to have. That's how important the
game was against the Patriots. And look, man, don't confuse
what I'm saying. I don't want to sound callous or
heartless or look man, I don't I don't want to
(15:58):
make it sound like Lamar is employee two one, six, five, three,
eight and he's not a human being. And like, I
don't want to make it sound like that, but Bro,
we're playing football over here. You have a back contusion.
You're just day to day right now. I'm not saying
anything barbaric. This is foot ball. You are going to
be hurt. You could we could go down the roll
(16:19):
indecks of Jack Youngblood playing on a broken leg, of
Philip Rivers played for the Chargers on a torn acl
against the Patriots. The list goes on and on and
on and on Emmett Smith playing with a shoulder that
was mangled against the Giants and just being outstanding that
day and winning a very very important game. The list
(16:42):
goes on and on and on and on of players
that have played with things much worse than a back contusion. Like, Bro,
that's the baseline. You got to get back out there
with an injury like that. Have to. There's no two
ways about it. It's not like, well, Brian, I mean
you're being a no, no no, not in the NFL,
(17:03):
not when there's that much on the line. You gotta
find a way. And he didn't. And I'm sorry, there's
no defending that. But listen, I've made my point clear.
No need to go on and on about it, but Bro,
that's brutal. You cannot go Your season might have ended
again if the Steelers beat the Browns on Sunday, the
(17:24):
raven season is over. And the Ravens season might have
ended with Lamar Jackson not getting on the field in
the second half with a bone bruise, I'm sorry, with
a back bruise day to day going forward and Tyler
Huntley out there, and oh, by the way, not giving
the ball to Derrick Henry, which is like he was
going off, he was going crazy. How do you not
(17:45):
give him the ball? What are you doing? Ravens? So
that's my thing is how do you not give Dereck
Henry the ball? How does Lamar Jackson not find a
way to gut it out and get back on the field.
It can't. It can't go down like that, man, It
just can't. And it did. Hey. This show is sponsored
by DraftKings Sportsbook, an official sports betting partner of the
NFL and NBA. Right now, use the promo code malor

(20:47):
your chance to win one thousand dollars. Why not, it's free.
You can talk trash, be like, hey, no, I dusted
you in the bracket, you know? Or whatever? How are
you we going to get down with your your trash talk?
May you get more colorful like the Yahoo and Detroit
I don't know, you know, but let's keep it peacy,
(21:08):
keep it, keep it above board, all right? Eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox is your number. I will
get to a potential revival for this quarterback in a second.
But a couple of people have thoughts on Lamar. So
I hope this doesn't turn into a you know, dis
Lamar situation over here. I just think the guy, you
(21:30):
gotta got it out. You got to get on the field.
You got a back bruise. Come on, man. But Andrew
is in Baker's field. He's got some thoughts for us
on Lamar. What's going on? Andrew? You're on Fox Sports Radio?
Speaker 2 (21:41):
What's up? Brian? Merry Christmas?
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Same to you, man?
Speaker 2 (21:44):
All right? So I just have you ever had a
heal contusion.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
I can't say that I have no. No, I don't
think I've had a heel contusion.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Okay, I have, and they hurt like you can't walk
on them, can't put any pressure on them. You know,
my sister had one and she had it for a
long time. I think a couple of years.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
But so.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
In my opinion, I don't know, maybe it was just
too much. Have you ever had any bone bruised or no?
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
Well I've had. I mean, I've had plenty of broken bones,
torn ligaments, I don't not many bruises for some some reason,
not many contusions right there. But Andrew, before you go like,
have you have you played in the NFL? Oh?
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yeah, I was Hall of Fame material.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I thought I was inside linebacker, but white out okay,
wide receiver. But that's the thing though, man, Like I
get it. I'm not saying these injuries aren't incredibly painful.
But guess what, man, they got they got uh you know,
you get the Mexicans shots, you got Corti Zone, you
got you know, all kinds of stuff to mask the pain. Bro,
you gotta get back out there with a bone bruise,
(23:02):
with a back Bruce. Your day to day, you gotta
find a way to get back on the field. I
know it's painful, I know it sucks, but you gotta
grit your way through that man, and he just didn't again.
All right, thanks, all right, man, there he is Andrew
and Bakersfield had a bruised heel. That doesn't sound fun.
(23:23):
Does not sound like a fun time.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
All right.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Uh. You know, coincidentally, I'll get to another quarterback in
the same division. I didn't plan this out, but here
we are. So Deshaun Watson, there's some news on Deshaun Watson,
Brown's quarterback. This was Kevin Stefanski. He had his press
conference and he gave an update on old Deshaun Watson.
(23:46):
Here is what Kevin Stefanski had to say on the roster.
Speaker 8 (23:50):
We will not activate DeShawn, so he will go to
reserve back to reserve pup. But really proud of the
progress that he's made, doing a really nice job in
the mating room on the field of these last few weeks.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Okay, So no Deshaun in twenty twenty five. Not the
biggest shock in the world. But here's the thing that
I was thinking of in lighted this news. Can you
see a potential revival somewhere down the road, maybe next season,
(24:26):
maybe a couple of years from now for Deshaun Watson.
And before you say no, way, just consider a couple
of things. Okay, if you say, oh, Brian, it's been
way too long. This guy has been hurt for how
many years now he's been suspended, Now he's been hurt.
(24:48):
He's missed so much time, Like it's just too long
in between when he was a viable starter and now
there's too much time. Okay, maybe you think like that.
Let me introduce you to a guy named Geno Smith. Okay,
now Gino is having his struggles right now, but it
was what six seasons in between him being a starter
(25:10):
in the NFL. He started his first two years with
the Jets. That was twenty twenty, thirteen, twenty fourteen. He's
not a starter in fifteen, not a starter in sixteen
or seventeen or eighteen or twenty twenty. He started three
games with the Seahawks in twenty twenty one, finally got
a chance to start again in twenty twenty two. So
(25:33):
from fifteen out like one, two, three, four, five, six
seasons not being a full time starter, then got a
chance in twenty twenty two and revived his career. Had
a couple of pretty good seasons in Seattle. You look
at his numbers. Here's Gino after again, six seasons without
(25:55):
being a full time starter. Twenty twenty two, he threw
thirty touchdown passes eleven picks. The next year twenty touchdown passes,
nine picks. Just to give you an idea passer rating.
First year a little over one hundred, second year ninety two,
last year in Seattle ninety three. Respectable numbers. Revived his career,
(26:16):
and think about how Gino Smith looked his first two
years with the Jets and then he got on track.
Think about other quarterbacks. Baker Mayfield, We've seen him revive
his career. Sam Darnold has revived his career. Daniel Jones
before he got hurt, revived his career with the Colts.
Is it possible that Deshaun Watson his career could be revived.
(26:41):
I'm here to tell you I think it can. I'm
not banging the table. It will. It'll happen. By gosh,
I'm not saying that. I'm telling you there's a chance.
I'm telling you it's possible, and I think one of
the things that needs to happen, it's got to happen
outside of Cleveland's I get the Shawn out of Cleveland,
(27:02):
because that's where quarterbacks go to die. Now, I will
stand by this. I do think if a quarterback truly
is a difference maker, he still can make a difference
in Cleveland. I think it was just too early in
Baker Mayfield's career to make a difference because if you
look at Baker Mayfield, the running opinion on the Browns is, oh,
(27:28):
they don't have talent there. They just you know, they
just don't have enough to work with. That wasn't the
case when Baker Mayfield was there. I think it was
just too early in his development in the NFL. But
he had a legitimate offensive line at the time, very
good offensive line. You've got what you had at one time,
Odell Beckham, Junior Jarvis Landry, you had David and Joku,
(27:52):
real offensive line, real running game. That's when you had
Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. That's more than enough to
be a good, functioning upper echelon offense. They just weren't.
They just weren't with Baker. But I won't buy the
idea that he just had nothing to work with. I
just think he was a little young. I think he
was immature. I just don't think he was ready at
(28:15):
that time just yet. And give Baker a lot of credit.
He took the scenic route. Eventually got to Tampa after
a brief stint with Carolina, like, got there on a Tuesday,
balled out on a Thursday for the Rams, that was insane,
beat the Raiders, you know, revived his career, got to Tampa,
and here he is. He's played really well now that
(28:38):
the production has gone a little bit south this season,
but a lot of injuries he hasn't been as good.
Maybe losing Leam Cone as now the head coach of
the Panthers, maybe that has something to do with it.
But the point is Baker Mayfield did revive his career
once he left Cleveland, right, not make Cleveland sound like,
(29:02):
I don't know, it's quarterback paradise. And I would blame
Deshaun Watson way more than I would blame Cleveland for
his deficiencies. You know there with the Browns. It's certainly
his fault way more than it is the Browns. But
the point remains let's just say DeShawn is eventually released,
(29:23):
like the Browns move on from Deshawn's a free agent.
You're telling me there's not a chance that some I
don't know, bright offensive mind. Let's say the Vikings. Okay,
let's just say for the sake of argument, the Vikings.
Kevin O'Connell obviously knows what he's doing. Look at what
(29:44):
he did last season with Sam Donald. They won fourteen
games with Sam Donald. There and Sam Donald fizzled down
the stretch in Week eighteen, the playoff loss to the Rams,
it was a disaster. He won fourteen games with Sam Donald.
That's really good. No one looks at Kevin O'Connell and says, yeah,
he just doesn't know what he's doing. This guy hack
(30:05):
hack City. No one thinks that with Kevin O'Connell. But
right now he's got JJ McCarthy who is rough, rough
this year, right and injured. Now gonna miss this Sunday
or Saturday. That's when they play, and you get the
Max Brosmer experience against the Lions. Right. Like, imagine if
(30:27):
the Vikings say, man, you know what, JJ McCarthy, he
might not be the real deal. So what are we
gonna do. Who are we gonna get? What if the
Vikings or a team that's similar has a bright, offensive
minded head coach and they say, you know what, we
(30:47):
still think there might be some tread on the tires
with old Deshaun Watson. Let's see how he does with
a pretty good offensive line, decent running game. Let's see
what he does with Justin Jefferson, one of the best
receivers in football, Jordan Addison, TJ Hockinson.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
Let's see if he could play.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Let's see if he can be as good as Sam
Darnold was for us. Like, you don't think Deshaun Watson
could do that? Even now, I do. I think he could.
I wouldn't close the door on his career being revived.
It's gonna take the right situation, the right team, the
right offensive minded head coach, but surrounded by like upper
(31:30):
echelon talent, which the Vikings have.
Speaker 6 (31:34):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
I think he could revive his career. I do. And
it's not gonna be easy, especially with the you know,
all the you know, the massage therapists and all that,
like the whole fiasco to come back from all of
that he's created. He's set so many hurdles in front
(31:54):
of himself. It's hard enough to thrive in the NFL,
Like if you're running the one hundred meters when everybody's
just running on a track, you don't want to set
hurdles in front of yourself. Like no one's running, no
one's jumping over hurdles except you. Like Deshaun Watson in
his lane set many hurdles in his way, high hurdles too.
(32:17):
So I'm not telling you it's gonna be easy, but
to just be like, I just think the general vibe is, oh,
this dude's washed. No way, no way does he revive
his career. If Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, Geno
Smith can do it, you don't think Deshaun Watson, in
the right situation, with good talent, bright offensive mind, he's incapable.
(32:43):
I don't believe that at all. I think he's fully capable.
I'm not telling you I'm running to the betting window
if there were such a wager to say, oh, yeah,
he's gonna revive his career. He might be, you know,
he might be a top quarterback. Again. I'm not running
to the betting window to do that. But oh, best
(33:03):
believe that door is open. Don't think that that door
is closed where there's no chance he could revive his career.
I don't think it happens in Cleveland. But if they
cut bait and he's on the open market, if he
ends up in the right situation, yeah, I think it
could happen. And think about this too, think about the
lack of quarterback talent on the open market. These teams,
(33:27):
they're gonna be like, all right, do we bring in
Anthony Richardson? E yikes? Wow? All right, what else do
we have to work with here? Like, bro, it's not
name recognition all over the league that's just readily available.
That's not gonna happen. And so yeah, I keep that
(33:48):
idea in the back of your head. I think there's
a legitimate chance that it could happen. Hey, all right,
so that's what I want you to do. Malard Militia.

dude that can't change a tire and makes tacos from
pre made hard shells and velveta cheese.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Good memory, very good job by Parrito, very nice. I
like that's that was good and.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
That is like, that's a great question. But Brian also
is very finicky about how he likes his steaks and
things too.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
So he's talking about Brian.
Speaker 5 (36:58):
I know, That's what I'm saying. Okay, Yes, it's more
than just his nacho cheese talking.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Oh no, yeah, no, am.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
I finicky about steaks?
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Lorena, No, No, Ben's the one that's finicky about stakes.
But you you have a weird palette also, I do.
I'll admit that absolutely, And.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
I think as a female as for me, you know,
I like someone who can eat everything, and you've got
to be able to eat whatever I don't eat.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
That's why. Wow. Really Okay, So if you're in the
market and just some guys like yeah, yeah, I'm kind
of weird when it comes to food, you're just like, nope,
no thanks, y'all.
Speaker 5 (37:29):
Just judge you every time we eat. I'll give you
a face.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
Would it be that big of an issue?
Speaker 5 (37:36):
It depends.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
This is a real thing, Like what I gotta I
gotta add zucchini, I gotta add.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Lorena needs a garbage disposal, so that because she only
eats like a couple of bites of whatever it is
that she gets taste it, and then she doesn't want
the rest to go to waste, so somebody needs to
be there to finish it.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
There's a very perfect example of the sandwich sitting right
behind me right now.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Yeah, so yeah, you don't like to waste, right, you don't.
You'd rather be like.
Speaker 5 (38:03):
Here just so much. I would rather just share all
my food.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Yeah, yeah, that's understandable.
Speaker 5 (38:09):
It's going to be your first Christmas.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Okay, so first thing that has to to be a
better candidate, right for the for the ladies out there,
for the ladies, you got to eat more stuff. Just
you have.
Speaker 5 (38:23):
A good variety of food you like to eat.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
Yeah, okay, more variety of foods? What else? What else
is on the checklist? Right here? A working list? What
else needs work?
Speaker 4 (38:33):
You got a lot of free time, Dan, you gotta
have free.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
Time, saying okay, I thought it was I thought you
was saying the list is so long, That's what I thought. Okay,
you gotta have free time, right, you gotta be available.
Speaker 5 (38:53):
Have you been doing online dating lately?
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Not really? Yeah, I've like I've thought a little bit
but I'm not even in a place yet, you know
what I mean.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Like, sometimes I'll just get bored and I'll download it
just to see what's out there, and it's usually the
same fish swimming in that pond.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Though that's an ugly there's an oil spill in that pond, man,
the online pond.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Do you think you're more of an go out and
meet someone in the wild type of person.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
No, I'm not bad either, Like, if it's one of
the two, I'm much more inclined to meet someone online.
But it sucks, you know how it is, Loraina? Right,
you might have chemistry with someone like texting them, talking
to them, and then in person you're like, it's just
not the same.
Speaker 4 (39:37):
It's And I also hate when you have really good,
like talking chemistry in person, but you're texting chemistry sucks, like, right,
I don't feel comfortable texting you.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Right, it's like you're weird, Like you spell stuff wrong,
you weird. Emojis are too many or too little? It's
what is the.
Speaker 5 (39:52):
Right amount of emojis?
Speaker 1 (39:53):
Though, Well, my favorite number is five, So you know
I have emoji groups of five, you know, five at
the Yeah, I think that's a that's a sufficient amount.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Do you have a do you have a timeline? Are
you wanting to get back into it? Are you going
to stay single for a bit?
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Oh man, it just depends, right, Like it depends where
I set up shop next. But time is a wasting
right here.
Speaker 5 (40:18):
What's that song? That's a Johnny Casch song, right.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (40:21):
I love that movie, Toodness one of my favorites.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
Tremendous, such a good movie.
