Speaker 1 (00:01):
Oh, what's going on everybody? Hope you're enjoying your Friday morning. Man,
Lots going on, Lots going on. The Cowboys survive against
the Titans. We've got some high praise. That's not really
high praise at all. Man, we got a lot of
ball going on. Oh oh, we've got We've got a

(00:21):
teammate defending another teammate. I love this story. We'll get
to all that coming up right here. I'm Brian noe
In for Big Ben Maller. We're broadcasting live from the
ti irac dot com studios. Ti irac dot com will
help get you there an unmatched selection, fast, free shipping,
free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers.

(00:42):
Ti irac dot com the way tire buying should be.
So we'll start with the Dallas Cowboys. They survived. They
survived against the Tennessee Titans. Titans were resting their guys.
The division, the AFC South comes down to a showdown
against Jacksonville net week. We're talking Week eighteen. That's going
to decide the division. So Mike Vrabel, Titans head coach,

(01:07):
he called off the dogs. No Derreck Henry No, Jeffrey
Simmons among others, and so the Titans were not playing
from a place of strength, if you will. They had
Josh Dobbs start the game, which was not a ringing
endorsement of Malik Willis. Their third round rookie quarterback Josh

(01:30):
Dobbs was signed eight days prior, and he gets his
first NFL start with the Titans when there's no Dereck
Henry in the back field. So not ideal for Josh Dobbs,
but all things considered, played pretty well through a touchdown.
Did throw one interception, but over two hundred yards passing.
Not horrible. Not horrible for only being there for eight

(01:53):
days before Thursday Night Football. The Dallas Cowboys, they survived.
They had their Arctic cowboy white uniforms. They were rocking
that Dak Prescott, he threw two interceptions. That's something to
watch going forward with Dak gotta protect the football a
lot better. One interception was not his fault whatsoever. Is

(02:14):
backup tight end had the butterfingers going on. It led
to an interception that was not Dak's fault at all.
The other interception was and Dak Prescott some of these numbers,
so he is now tied with Derek Carr for the
most interceptions this season. He's got fourteen interceptions on the year.

(02:35):
Derek Carr might surpass him if he was playing for
the Raiders anymore, but Dak will. He'll be tied with
Derek Carr after this weekend. Dak has had in the
last four games nine touchdown passes, seven interceptions. He has
five games with multiple interceptions this season, so Dak's got

(02:57):
to be a lot better protecting the football come playoff time.
When they're playing against the big boys. You can get
away with it against the undermanned Titans, who are resting
a bunch of starters, but in the playoffs that could
spell in early exit. So that's something to keep an
eye on. The Other things that are caused for concern

(03:17):
for the Cowboys their offensive line. Their center Tyler Biadish
went down, was carted off the field, got his leg
rolled up on, and they had to rearrange their entire
offensive line. They had Connor McGovern kicked down to center,
Tyler Smith kicked down to guard. You bring in the
forty year old Jason Beaters off the bench to play

(03:38):
left tackle. That's a lot of shuffling, a lot of rearranging.
That is not ideal if you have to do that
come playoff time. So not the greatest situation. Now. The
thing with the Titans, it's less about Thursday Night Football
and losing to the Cowboys. It's more about who's going
to be the starting quarterback next week against the Jags

(04:00):
when it's all on the line to win the AFC
South and make it to the playoffs. So it comes
down to with Ryan Tannehill. He's on IR so his
season's probably done. It's either Josh Dobbs or it's the
rookie Malik Willis, and it's advantaged Dobbs at this point.
Like I said, Josh Dobbs through for two hundred thirty

(04:21):
two yards on Thursday Night Football in three games, Malik
Willis has thrown for two hundred seventy six yards. So
if you do the math on this thing, in two
extra games from Malik Willis, he has thrown for what
fifty four more yards than Josh Dobbs. If you give

(04:44):
Josh Dobbs two more starts, do you think he throws
for at least fifty four yards? Yeah? Probably, probably, So
Malik will Is not given the Titans a whole heck
of a lot, completing fifty percent of his passes three interceptions.
He hasn't cracked triple digits in terms of passing yards
in any game. He hasn't thrown for at least one

(05:05):
hundred yards in any of his three starts. He's rushed
for a touchdown. He's rushed for one hundred twenty three yards.
But you gotta put some pressure on a defense throwing
the football, so it's probably gonna be Josh Dobbs. The
other part of this is the Jags. Doug Peterson, their
head coach. He has said, We're gonna play our guys.

(05:26):
I just don't see the value in resting. There's no
such thing as a meaningless football game. But I don't know,
do you really want to play your guys all game
on Sunday against the Houston Texans. If the Titans just
rested most of their guys and they get more rest
on top of that, having played on Thursday Night football

(05:46):
going into Week eighteen, why would you play your guys
for the entire game? If you're Doug Peterson, when it's
all on the line next week. This weekend doesn't mean anything.
You gotta win next weekend. Again, it's the Titans to
make the playoffs. So if you dabble in the gambling
realm over here, what I'm telling you is take the

(06:08):
Texans plus the four points. Okay, I don't expect Jacksonville
to play their guys all game long, and even if
they did, there's still not a lock to cover that
spread on the road. Anyway. I like how Jacksonville has
been playing one five of seven games. But the Texans
have played really tough lately. They just beat the Titans

(06:29):
on the road. They just played the Chiefs really tough.
They just played the Cowboys really tough. The Texans are
playing good football. So if you can get them over
a field goal as an underdog at home, you're there
plus four right now. Yeah, I think that Doug Peterson
might call the Dogs off early. Maybe Trevor Lawrence and

(06:51):
company they get a half of football. I really doubt
they play the entire game. So I'm rolling with the
Texans this weekend plus the points. I'm ryan no in
for Big Ben Maller here on Fox Sports Radio, and
now a couple other things to get to here. So
we're looking at, oh, one teammate defending another teammate. I

(07:13):
liked this story. So Jerry Judy, he's a Denver Broncos
wide receiver. He's fed up with the personal shots that
some people are taking at the expense of Russell Wilson,
Broncos quarterback. And so there was a story that Russell
Wilson apparently has his own office and a private parking

(07:35):
spot at the Broncos facility. There was a tweet that
Barstool Sports had put out, and so Jerry Judy was
responding to that, and he tweeted, I ain't gonna keep
looking at all these false statements about my boy Russ Man.
As a teammate who sees the elite work ethic this
man has is incomparable. He got an office because he's

(07:59):
commits did his life to this game. I never had
a teammate who motivates me more than Russ. And then
he adds, for dramatic effect, the one hundred emoji, so
you know he's that kidding around. Love that, Yeah, love
that coming to the aid of Russell Wilson. Coop Huh.
You salute that as a Broncos fan, absolutely, especially because

(08:22):
you know all season frankly, like where was he earlier?
Because Frankly, all season long, anytime we saw one of
these stories about you know, how much of a d
bag Russell Wilson is. Um. I was reading these stories
and thinking, okay, well, where are his teammates, Yeah, coming
to his defense and say and then so it never

(08:44):
really happened. You didn't see any teammates coming to do
his defense, and so I was like, well, you know,
maybe there's something to all this. Maybe they really don't
like him, none of them like him, and so it's, uh,
it's refreshing to hear somebody actually come out in his defense,
especially somebody is important to the team, as Jerry Judy. Yeah, no,

(09:07):
I'm with you, and I think it was Tim Patrick.
I believe it was. And he responded to what Jerry
Judy put out there on Twitter and said, say it
louder for the people in the back. So he was
basically co signing what Jerry Judy had said. So it
boils down, dude, it's important, right. Russell Wilson has had
a terrible season. We all know that. But there have

(09:29):
been a lot of personal shots at the guy, and
Jerry Judy is at least raising his hand and saying,
you do realize the guy works his ass off right,
And that's that's kind of what I've always thought, like
I can't argue against a lot of the criticisms people
have because if I was somebody on that team, I
would probably be rolling my eyes too. With a lot

(09:50):
of what he does and what he says. I just like, like,
come on, dude, Like he's he's a little bit of
a clown, but you can't deny that he like the
work ethic he's not. Like it'd be one thing if
he says all these things and he isn't I don't know,

(10:10):
preaching or like practicing what he preaches, but he does,
and so you kind of like you might roll your eyes,
but you can't hate on it too much. I don't know. Yeah, no,
I understand. I feel the same way where if he's
talking about doing high knees on the airplane, you roll
your eyes and like, dude, are you really saying this

(10:30):
right now? But I think you just start focusing on
that instead of He does work hard. He's meticulous with
his preparation, which makes it really strange how much he
struggled this season. But yeah, I think it's just gang
up on Russ this year. He's had a horrible season.
And sometimes the certain criticism does go too far, and

(10:52):
so it is. It's it's a big deal, I think
for his teammates to stand up for him, because we
just saw against the Ram he got dacked and nobody
helped him up. Nobody's helping him up. And you had
the backup quarterback Brett Rippon lay into the offensive line like, yo,
you gotta help this guy up. So for Jerry Judy

(11:14):
to come to his defense, that was a good sign
right there, for sure. Yeah, And I mean look as
far assolutely as what um, we got more ball to talk,
you know. So we had Jerry Judy talk about the
false narratives about Russell Wilson right there. So that was
a good story to see absolutely, eight seven seven ninety

(11:35):
nine on Fox is your phone number coming up next?
It might seem like high praise, it's really not funny story.
I want to share that with you next. I'm bribably

The Gremlins were showing up a couple of minutes ago.
Coop was about to talk about as broncos I couldn't
hear a thing. I couldn't hear one thing, So I
feel like I ran him off the road, even though
I didn't know I was doing that at all. You know,

(12:40):
it's ironic because you you sound better than you've sounded
any anytime recently where you had those issues. Is that right? Yeah,
it's that's a weird thing. Man. The Gremlins just show
up from time to time. But uh, you know, Coop,
you were making a good point. I just heard it
a couple of minutes to go off the year, but
why don't you bring it to the people. It's a

(13:00):
good point talking about the Broncos receivers and maybe there's
a little bit more blame that should be directed their
way instead of just Ross. That was a good point, man.
What was your your view on that, Coop? The Broncos suck.
He was saying, that was that that was the point
from Coop. I don't know that that Russell Wilson sucks

(13:22):
and the receiver suck. Yeah. Orange is an ugly color.
He was saying. That's right, that's not what I said.
But no, orange, orange is hideous. Oh it's the worst.
That's my favorite color. Oh my god, it's awful. Yeah,
every time everything that wears orange, I think I hate.
Do you hate the Netherlands from the World Cup? Yeah,
you know, yeah, I hate the Giants. Hate Syracuse. Hate Syracuse. Yeah,

(13:49):
I hate that all those Yeah guys that go to
school there. I think they're better than us. Yeah, yeah,
I know. There is an elitist field Syracuse, isn't there. Yeah? Yeah?
Who else are we missing? How about the Bears? They
got a little bit of orange in their logo. You
hate them? Yeah? I hate them? To your your team
has orange? What Brian's team? Oh? Oh yeah, yeah, the Dolphins.

(14:15):
There you go. You hate the Dolphins too, Eddie. Yeah,
the Bengals have orange, and the Bengals have cool uniforms.
I don't care what anybody says. No, they're awful. Did
you like the Bengals a little bit better when they
were wearing they're all white uniforms, you know, no orange
in the helmet. No, well he's a Steamers. Well that's true.
You can't like yeah that man, the Ducks. Ducks have orange. Awful,

(14:38):
hate them, hate the Yeah, Denver, Denver, Boise State, Yeah,
they do, so they do. How about Clemson, Well, they're
super orange, they're so orange. I actually like him. That's weird.
What about Texas and the burnt orange? That's not orange,
it's like brown. Yeah, yeah, okay, the Marlins they just

(15:02):
felt like not having the word brown, so they went
with orange orange, just not burns brown. How about the Orioles. Yeah,
I feel a kinship with the Orioles because they're like
the pirates of the American League. Although they weren't bad
this year. Actually, yeah, they were decent. How about hockey,

(15:23):
you're all about puck? About the Philadelphia. I don't like
the Flyers, hate the Flyers. Yeah, anybody else any orange,
there's gotta be more orange. Marlins NL their teal more teal. Yeah, yeah,
I think they are the Marlins. Yeah yeah, Marlin's Man
wears a bright orange jersey, but I had their normal jersey.

(15:47):
I met Marlin's Man one time. I'm I'm kidding for
the most part. I do hate orange though, but yeah,
well how did you meet Marlin's Man? Now? Ben Ben
loves him because he takes he gives Ben free seats
behind the Dodgers home play. Oh really, I'd love him too. Yeah,
he was at a it was at a Cubs It
was at a Cardinals Cubs game. I took my my nephew,

(16:08):
Mini Matt to a baseball game. This is years ago.
He's still a little kid, and Marlin's Man was there,
and so I was like, hey, man, can we get
a pictures? We took a picture before the game and
then yeah, and then there was a sorry I violated
something there. I'd be like, hey, why is that guy's
not a celebrity. It's Marlin's Man. He's at all these games.

(16:28):
You know, he's a guy that Marlin's man, get on
in here, come on man like. And then there was
a crazy weather delay. It was raining like crazy, and uh.
I went up to Marlin's man and I'm like, dude,
what do you do for work? And he was a
I know what it was. It was he You're right,

(16:49):
he was a worker's comp lawyer. That's what he told me.
But the weird thing about Marlin's man, this is big
in LA. You guys will definitely know what I'm talking
about here. There are a lot of people in La
that when they're talking to you, they won't look at you.
They'll look everywhere but at your face or look at

(17:09):
you in the eyes. It's a La thing. Not everybody,
but there are a lot of people who do that.
You've never run across that, no, Oh my gosh. It
happens all the time. And that's what Marlin's man was doing.
He was talking to me and he's like, yeah, oh,
workers comp lawyer, and he's looking to the left of me,
to the right of me, above met and it's just like, dude,

(17:29):
you just go to games Man like you're not a celebrity.
Marlin's picture with it, I know, I know, I fed
his ego. Eddie it was my own doing. Yeah, I
got I got an argument the Ben about Disney. He's like,
if if you were if you were him, you do
the same thing. You'd go to all these games and
blah blah blah. I'm like, yeah, I would go to

(17:50):
all these games. Yeah, but I wouldn't wear like some
special thing. So everyone would be like, hey, look there
was a guy. Yeah he's not that bright orange jersey
when his Martin are actually playing on the road. He's
just at a random game. Yeah, that's true. Right, have
we seen him at Marlins games on the road? Who
watches Marlin's games? He may be at all of them

(18:10):
for all I know. I don't know. Yeah, he he
boycotted Marlin's games because of Jeter, right, Oh really he
was making a stand against Jeter, kind of like Roberto
with Dave Roberts. Yeah, no, with Frame McCourt. Yeah, I
like it. Well, I thought you're boycotting Dave Roberts. Now
he's boycotting Twitter because of Dave Roberts. Yeah, he's not

(18:31):
boycotting actually going to the games. He stopped going to
the games when Frank McCourt owned the team. That is correct.
Oh man, that's funny. Can you talk to the Pirates
fans and they're not going to the Pirates games while
they have this owner? Is there any way you could
talk to them? Maybe Roberto and that's the way to
do it. Man, I know, I don't know why we
do it. I got a buddy who lives in Pittsburgh.
I'm like, don't go to the games. He's like, well,

(18:53):
it's warm out and I want my kids to go.
Go to a park. Don't go to a baseball park.
Go to a park, park them run around, don't go there,
don't go. He didn't listen, though. Yeah, that's good advice
from you. Absolutely. Okay, So this story real quick. I
saw this tweet from Sports Illustrated and it just said

(19:14):
high praise for Bears quarterback Justin Fields, and so it
had a quote from this is from a former NFL
defensive back, Darius Butler, and he was on the Pat
McAfee show, and his quote was Justin Fields will go
down as the best Bears quarterback in history. And you
might think, oh wow, like, well high praise. That's really

(19:36):
not high praise at all. The Bears quarterbacks have been
brutal over the years. If you look I was just
looking at this just to get a sense of who's
done what over the years for the Bears, and it's
pretty entertaining. Do you realize Jay Cutler Eastron for the
most passing yards in Bears history and you have to
adjust for era, you know, like Jay Cutler played in

(19:59):
the modern era where they're throwing the ball all over
the place. You take that into account. But he's thrown
for it's like nine thousand more yards than the second
place guy, like twelve thousand more yards roughly than the
third place guy. Like Jay Cutler as the most passing
yards and the most passing touchdowns in Bear's history, and

(20:21):
it's really not that close. If you look at the
top five in yardage of Bears quarterbacks, it's pretty interesting, right,
So Jay Cutler's number one Sid Luckman is number two.
You gotta go all the way back. He played from
nineteen thirty nine to nineteen fifty for the Bears. That's
like when they're running the T formation and all that stuff.

(20:41):
Number three on the all time Bears passing list is
Jim Harbaugh. He's number three, followed by Jim McMahon and
then Mitch Trubisky. So how about that list. So it
sounds like high praise, but really not. And yeah, Justin
Fields probably will go down the best quarterback in Bears history.

(21:01):
Gotta get him some help, get him some help, give
him some receivers. But he did take a big step
forward this year. But it's more so about what the
top five of the Bears, you know, passing yardage list,
what that looks like. And man, it is slim pickens.
They've only had six guys in their team history that

(21:22):
have thrown for over ten thousand yards. That's it. That's
the entire list, So craziness right. Be sure to catch
live editions of the Ben Maller Show weekdays at two

(22:07):
this real fast before I get to the calls. Justin
Jefferson Vikings wide receiver. He stood by his quarterback over here,
so he's talking about Kirk Cousins. He said, all of
the Kirk criticism has to stop. I understand y'all hate
the Dad's swag, but come on, his numbers are right
with y'all's MVP candidates, is what he says, and there's

(22:31):
a little bit of truth there. First off, the dad
swag is a good description. He's just like a dad.
Kirk Cousins has dad vibes all day. But he's put
up good numbers this year. I guess he's in the
neighborhood ish of some of the MVP candidates. If you
look at Mahomes, Mahomes has thrown for ten more touchdown

(22:53):
passes than Kirk Cousins. They've thrown the exact same number
eleven interceptions, but Mahomes has a healthier passer rating. He's
thrown from more yards. He adds the rushing element and
extending plays. So I don't know, like I'll meet him
halfway Kirk Cousins has He's had a good season, He's

(23:15):
put up good numbers, They've had a lot of comebacks,
they've won a lot of one score games. So yeah,
Kirk Cousins deserves his his roses as of right now,
and we'll see what they're able to do come playoff time.
That's when it really matters. But yeah, I think Kirk
Cousins is one of those guys where it's just strange
how things go, where if you look at Kirk compared

(23:39):
to brock Purty, it's just funny how once you get
a reputation, a lot has to happen for it to change.
You know, Kirk Cousins has earned his reputation of being ah,
he's okay. Are there a lot of times where if
it's a standalone game, he doesn't play great and the
team loses, And that's just what we think of Kirk

(24:01):
and until something seismic happens, that's the way a lot
of people are gonna think of the guy, regardless of
what he does this season. He's to justin Jefferson's point,
he's had a good year, but you're just thinking of
Kirk is like that's the same old Kirk, you can't
trust him. You know they're gonna wet themselves when it's
a big game, and until that there's a big playoff

(24:23):
win or a big playoff push, you're gonna think like
that most likely. Meanwhile, brock Purty, some people are drooling
over the guys had a couple of nice starts, but
until he has just an absolute clunker, there are gonna
be a lot of people that continue to sing his praises.
But it's just funny. Man. Once you start thinking one

(24:44):
way about someone, especially in NFL quarterback, it's gonna take
a lot for you to reevaluate and change your tune.
All right with that, let me get out to the phones.
Super Dave is in Orlando. Wants to check in here,
Super Dave, what's going on? Man? Hey, how are you
doing and really enjoying the show having listened in a while? UM,
I just have one question. It's a little bit dated.

(25:06):
I was listening to Eddie talked about when he got
to go the Super Bowls? I'm not mistaken. Was the
one with the Steelers played the Cardinals in Tampa? Is
that correct? But that's the one that Eddie went to? Yep?
Is that okay, um I hosted the Super Bowl party
of that year, and this is not a cut against
the Steelers by any means. But the touchdown to put

(25:26):
him over the top was not It should have been
reviewed and was not, and they basically handed the game
to the Steelers. That's the one thing I remember about
the game. Again, not a cut of the Steelers by
any means. It's just a football question. I know it's dated,
but I was compelled to call and ask you guys
your opinion if you guys even remember this, but I
just it's stuck in my mind for all these years

(25:49):
about that particular game, about that particular play. I just
I thought that I thought, basically thought they'd handed the
game to the Steelers. No, we remember it, and look
when they first showed it, Dave, I was like, did
he get his right foot down? Because there are a
couple of angles where you're like, I don't know. But
then I think it was like a still shot on
with Sports Illustrated, and they showed a couple of other

(26:11):
views and he clearly got his foot down, like no
question about yeah, Gosteus. Okay, well thanks thanks your Tommy
join the show. Yeah, thanks, super Dave, good stuff. Man.
All right, We've got our girl. Andrea is in Berkeley,
wants to check in here, we'll find the waiting whoa, whoa, whoa,
settle is angry Bill playing the drops over here. Was

(26:34):
going on, Roberto, Andrea, how are you doing this morning? Good?
I wanted to wish you and the Malla, Melsia and
everyone in Fox Sports Radio very happy, healthy and abundant
holiday in New Year. And same to you. Yeah, thank you,
thanks for great year shows. And I was just talking
to Justin. There was this really interesting tweet about Tom Brady.

(26:55):
It's been eight thousand, two hundred and ninety two days
between being born and being drafted, and today it was
the same amount of days between being drafted and today,
eight thousand, two hundred ninety two days, meaning he sent
half his life in the NFL. So he shout out

(27:15):
to the King of the Zodiac August third, nineteen seventy seven.
He loves the attention. Remember when he retired and then
unretired and did all that and had his midlife crisis,
you know, the divorce with Gizelle. So it's just interesting.
He's August third, nineteen seventy seven. She's July twentieth, nineteen

(27:35):
eighty and she's super into astrology. By the way, my
colleague as her astrologer in Massachusetts. So I think that's
quite interesting. And that's pretty crazy, Andrea to think about that.
Think about any rookie quarterback right now. Take Brock Purty.
I know you're fond of, right, you know, rocking with
Brock over there, but imagine him being in the league

(27:58):
for like twenty one twenty two more years for it
to rival what we're seeing with Brady. That's just crazy, right,
I mean, it just doesn't get done anymore. He kind
of broke the mold, so I just, you know, want
to give him a shout out. He trended on Twitter,
and then I saw the numerology of it all. And
it's interesting when he unretired. You know, leo thrive on appreciation.

(28:20):
Brian and I really you know, they need that light
to shine, they need that attention. So it made a
lot of sense when he unretired. But is Russell Wilson
a Leo? It sounds like russ might be a Leo.
I think he's a Sagittarius. That's another fire sign. But
I remember, I'll google it, but I remember he was
a Sagittarius, which is another fire sign, and they're you know,

(28:43):
kind of outgoing and yeah November twenty nine, nineteen eighty eight, Yeah,
in Cincinnati. So he's a sad But fire signs do
thrive on attention. You know, you're a Scorpio, you're more introspective.
I'm a Virgo. It's an Earth sign. It's all about work.
But you know, fire signs really thrive on the attention,

(29:05):
and they're very creative. They're kind of flamboyant in that way,
kind of dramatic. I would say, yeah, maybe that explains
high knees on a plane. You know, it seems to
make sense right there. Oh you want to plane Russell
Wilson with the high knees on the plane? Oh got it? Yes,
I was fun of it. Does double check that. Yeah, No,
he's needs a lot of attention as well. Fire signs

(29:28):
are high maintenance in a nutshell basically huh okay, god, yeah,
absolutely good enough. Well, happy new Year, Andrew hal new year. Yes,
I hope twenty twenty three is a great year for you. Absolutely.
There she goes Andrea and Berkeley. All right, we're going
to close it down in style a couple members of

(29:48):
the militia want to check in. We'll have some fun
before we get on out of here. And also one
player is calling it a fluke. Interesting choice of words
and rapid fire preview. Huh. College football playoff games coming
up here on Saturday, week seventeen. Couple of the big matchups.

(30:09):

Sports Radio Studios. In for Ben Maller. It's Brian No.
You know, Eddie looking forward to a big, big weekend
of ball over here. We actually have five bowl games
on Friday. My Irish are in action, Eddie against South Carolina.
But it's all about the weekend. Man, quick rapid fire

(31:14):
Playoff preview. I'm curious where you go with these semifinal games.
I think George is just too much. I'm gonna take
Georgia over Ohio State. George has the number one rush defense.
Their offense I think is overlooked. Georgia's is They got
a lot of weapons over there. I know Stetson Bennett
is not close to c J. Stroud, but with the

(31:37):
weapons he has around him and mixed with that defense,
I just think they're too much. Ohio State got smacked
around at home by Michigan. I can't get that out
of my head. How about this? Also, there hasn't been
a repeat champion in the College Football Playoff era. We
haven't had that, so George is trying to be the
first team to repeat in the CFP era. But I'm

(31:58):
gonna go Georgia Eddie, and I'm gonna go upset over here.
You tell me if I'm crazy. I'm gonna go with
the Horned Frogs. I know it's a little bit risky
because Michigan's defense has been really solid. They only give
up thirteen point four points per game. I think it's
a lot about Donovan Edwards. He's the running back from Michigan.
He's filling in for Blake Cooram. Donovan Edwards been really,
really good. But I think TCU how they shut down

(32:21):
Bijean Robinson in Texas, I think that they can slow
down Donovan Edwards, and if they do, I think it's
a huge deal in the game. I'm gonna take TCU
to to pull the upset. I think Michigan is overrated,
so I'll say it's Georgia TCU in the championship game.
Does that sound zany to you or what? What do

(32:42):
you think? Well? I can't say it does because I'll
be honest with you. I haven't seen TCU play once
this year. Okay, I'm gonna go Georgia Michigan, but I
just I don't know why. I just they haven't been
in the rotation for me. There's always been something else
I want to watch. I guess, yeah, So, I mean

(33:02):
I know of them. I know that, you know, they're
kind of the crashing the party there a little bit.
But and I usually root for those teams, and I'm
not saying I'm not rooting for him, but I can't
tell you because I don't know. I have no clue
what they're all about. So I'll be interested to see
him play for the first time against Michigan. Hey, man,
I appreciate the honesty. Nothing wrong with it, nothing else,
I am honest. Yeah, Kendre Miller is a fantastic running

(33:25):
back and Max Duggan. It's interesting because he didn't start
the first game of the year against Colorado, but based
on injury, he's been the quarterback all year. After that injury,
he was a Heisman finalist and he's played very well.
Quinton Johnston that's the other guy to keep in mind,
their stud wide receiver. So TCU's got some weapons. Man,

(33:48):
I'm gonna take him in the upset to get the
best of Michigan. We'll see how that goes. Rapid Fire NFL.
The Game of the Week is the Monday Night game,
the last Monday night game Bills at the Bengal and
you know what, the quarterback matchup is what stands out
the most. But if you look at Josh Allen versus
Joe Burrow, I get why people would go with Josh Allen.

(34:08):
I totally do. I get it, Like he's a really
good quarterback, but some of the decision making you've seen
it the last couple of games where you're just like, Josh,
what are you doing, dude? I say that more about
Josh Allen than I do Joe Burrow. And it might
be one of these things where people liking Joe Burrow
to Tom Brady ish right, They're not saying he's gonna

(34:31):
win seven Super Bowls and like he's the spitting image.
But I think there's something there where Josh Allen might
wow you a little bit more in the regular season,
but when decision making is even more vital come playoff time.
I just trust Joe Burrow more right now than I
do Josh Allen. So I'm interested to see those two

(34:54):
guys lock horns toward the end of the regular season.
That should be a great one. All right. With that,
let me get out to the phone's cowboy is with us? Here, cowboy,
what's going on? Manual on Fox Sports Radio. Okay, Hi Brian,
sorry about the boys, but anyway, Happy New Year to
