Speaker 2 (00:11):

time listening to the ind the Bonus podcast, you'll know
that basically, and as it plays out on the iHeart
podcast network is this becomes what the first hour, even

(00:35):
though we do it the last hour, all right, So
when you download, you hear this first, then you hear
the rest of the radio show. So basically this is
like an our radio show, only we can say and
do whatever we want and we don't have to take
traditional breaks and it's a little bit more free flowing.

(00:55):
We do have something called what the Fox Says, which
is basically, we play for you clips of the day
on either Fox Sports Radio or Fox Sports One, then
I comment on it. We have some other cool stuff
we do, like Your Annoying where Jason Stewart, who is
annoyed by many, finds only a couple to be annoyed
by the On a daily basis, we try and determine

(01:16):
who's the most annoying person in sports on Earth. And
then we have something called because we Can, where we
play for you usually an audio clip of somebody cursing
many times with other innuendo, and we can do it
unedited because it's a podcast, so we call it because
we can. So that's a and we have really good

(01:36):
stuff today.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
All right, let's welcome in our.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Guy, Bernie Fratto, of course, hosts the Bertie Fraddo Show,
which you can hear every Saturday and Sunday right here
on Fox Sports Radio. He's mister Vegas, lived there fifteen
years and he's got some thoughts details on this UNLV
situation where they're off to a three no start now
the quarterback and running back, like we're going a red
shirt and transfer because well, again their side is they
were offered big mind and only got a couple grand

(02:02):
per month. So let's ask Bernie Fraddo. He joined us
now on the Doug out Leab Show. Bernie, what are
you hearing? What's the reality from what you're hearing with Ulva.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
That's on the phone about four hours yesterday, and the
focal point is, of course Matt Sluca, the quarterback. It
all started last January when Sluca's coach at Holy Crossed,
Bob Chesney left for James Madison. He was invited, but
with no guarantees. So he connected with Brennan Marion, un
lvi's offensive coordinator, and was allegedly told that quote, getting

(02:33):
one hundred thousand dollars in NIL money would not be
a problem end quote. Not two things. Yes, I understand
it was a verbal agreement, but if we understand contract law,
i'd met the standards of offer acceptance and consideration, and
verbal contracts they are very enforceable if the elements aligned,
and in retrospect these appear to do just that. Furthermore,

(02:55):
according to Max Luca's agent, Marcus Comarty, they had an
agreement that was made in place in January, and according
to Comarty, you can't even sign an NIL agreement without
the student being enrolled at the school, which wouldn't be
for several more months. So unlv issued a counter statement
Wednesday in response, but it's vague and obtuse, and it

(03:16):
contains no real language specifically denying that match Luca was
offered one hundred thousand dollars. So, Doug, how hard would
it be to simply make that definitive statement in succinct terms.
We never offered him one hundred grand, but they didn't. Additionally,
Brendan Marion Poc couldn't be reached for comminent so for now,
at least for now, even not talking. Let's fast forward

(03:37):
to June. S Luca arrived on campus. He was paid
three thousand dollars and a one time completely separate deal
for a summer agreement, which they categorized as the Child
Cancer Society, which he enrolled in June. Now this point,
Comarty openly explained that money was only designated as a
relocation fee, he insisted. At that point, he continued to

(04:02):
follow up on a payment promise for Sluca. First, the
NIL collective wouldn't talk to him because they said he
wasn't licensed in Nevada. But UNLV's official response was the
offer wasn't legitimate because it didn't come from head coach
Perry Otum. Commarti then said the negotiation ensued where they
went from ten grand a month to five grand a month. Finally,
un of the offered three grand a month, teamed Sluca

(04:23):
and Comarty said, forget it. We've been lied to. We're
out of here. We bolted. Now amateur psychology is suggesting
that UNLV never believed that Sluca would leave. They called
his bluff and he did it. They'd been negotiating for
four weeks or so. Another theory is at the NFL
beck at the NIL Collective here in Vegas simply didn't

(04:46):
have the money. That that's another story. So in summation,
the unlv OC offensively made a verbal commitment he was
not authorized to make. It was then outsourced to a
third party, the NL Collective in this case, they're called
Blueprint Sports and Entertainment, and they did vehemently deny knowing
anything about this agreement. And now Slucas moved on and

(05:08):
I'm told he's drawing interest from a couple of power
for schools and he'll actually get an excess of one
hundred grand next year. So that's hit a nutshell, Doug.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Okay, So when he got paid the three thousand dollars,
it was there was no contract to it.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
No, they were in the midst of a negotiation where
UNOV was trying to say, we're not giving you a
hundred grand, but tell you what, We'll give you three
grand a month for four months and we'll put that
in a contract. He said, no, that's not what I want.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Why did he ever begin playing if he didn't have
an agreed to deal?

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Well, he was promised a starting job last spring, which
he got the Hodge, Malik Whims and Cameron Friel. They
claimed there was a three way battlet. It never was,
so they kept their promise there. But that's a very
good question. Look, this is a young man. He doesn't
have NFL ability. That is his last hurrah. I truly
believe he trusted UNLV in good faith and that somehow,

(06:03):
some way this would work out. And it marched closer
toward the fourth week when he would lose his final
year of eligibility because he's one of the final COVID babies.
The reality start to the reality started to rear itself.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
No, I get it, okay. Now, was the NIL agent
his agent up until August? When did this guy become
his NIL agent?

Speaker 4 (06:25):
He was already his agent in January. He just wasn't
involved in the January discussions, nor did he need to be, because,
as he said, you can't sign a contract with the
NIL until you're already enrolled in school. He was acting
as an advisor. His name is Marcus Cromarty, And you
got to August, and where the story got sideways yesterday

(06:46):
Doug was that there was this narrative that there was
this three thousand dollars contract he signed when he got here.
That was never the case. UNLV was trying to negotiate
that and lowball him. The other three thousand dollars figure
that was valid is the one time gayment for the
for the for the Cancer the Child Cancer Society, which
they deemed and characterized as a relocation fee. Here's the analogy.

(07:09):
Imagine the ANIL as a highway forget landscape called the highway.
There's no traffic lights, there's no stop signs, there's no lanemarkers,
there's no guardrails, there's no enforcement. That's all we have.
As a result, there's virtually no oversight. There's no accountability
in the Anile states, and all too often is I'm
sure you know, Doug, promises are made to student athletes
that are booked in this pandemic. I think you're going

(07:30):
to start to see more stories like this.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Well, I mean probably helps us, because you know we
we do. We tell them exactly what they're gonna get,
and that's what they get, and they have the opportunity
to earn more. But this is as a fascinating look.
It's a terrible look for n LV and frankly for
Barry otom what's left of their team after getting off
to this hot start.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
YEP, I don't like it. I don't like the mental outlook.
First of all, I saw this kid play up close
and personal in Houston, the game against Houston. He's a
poor man's Brock Party. He doesn't throw like Brockberty. He's
got the same kind of decision making and ability. He's
an excellent runner, and he's a tremendous field general. He
engineered that seventy five yard drive against Kansas with a
minute fifty to beat them on the road. These other

(08:15):
two quarterbacks are going to march out there. Looks like
we're going to start a kid named Hodge malink Williams
who's a transfer from Campbell University and HBCU school. He's
a six year player. He's not as good, and neither
it's Cam Frield, who's been on the roster for three years,
had plenty of chances to assert himself. I don't like
their chances. I think Fresno State beats them Saturday. This
is a crying shame because the kid and his dad

(08:36):
are being vilified. It's a sad situation. I don't think
they wanted to have this happen. I think they wanted
this to work out, and he believed in good faith.
Maybe he was a little naive that when he got here, somehow,
in some way things would fall into place, and it didn't.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Interesting. I do wonder what the UNLB side of it is.
It will be absolutely fascinating. And then of course they're also.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
In the middlet I can't tell you what that is.
By the way, I could say what their narrative that's
not being published. Two narratives. Number one, this could be
a blessing in this guy because with this young man's
focus was that then we weren't going to get to
the playoffs with him anyway, which is kind of BS.
Just that smell funny, right. The other end of it
is is that, look, we never promised him that that's
a dream in his mind. What bothers me, Doug, is

(09:25):
this you try to look for the focal point. What's
the aphex in these arguments? You and l be in
their statement yesterday and I can email you the press
release which I got at eleven am yesterday morning. It's tepid,
it's a twoth, it's vague. At no point does it
say we never offered him one hundred grand. They just
said he made unreasonable demands and we believed it violate
the laws. Bullshit, bullshit all they had to say. How

(09:48):
hard would it be to say we never offered him
one hundred grand? Period? But they didn't do that.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Bernie, you the best man, Bernie Frado Show, every seat
and Sunday right here on Fox Sports Radio, burning you
the best, Appreciate.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
You and us have fun. Doug. Thanks.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Let's welcome Inn. He's Kelly Ford stug Otley Show here
on Fox Sports Radio. Kelly is the proprietor of k
Ford Ratings dot Com. All right, Kelly, now we continue
to creep further and further into the season. You always have,
you know, the predictive analysis, and then of course you
predict what the college football playoff looks like. What's it
look like this week?

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yeah, Doug?

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Right now, if we're looking at what does the playoff
look like as things stand. I would have you know, Georgia,
Illinois BYU Boston College. Those would be your AQ's at
this point in time given what the conference standings look like.
But what's more informative is to project forward, as you said,
and let's look at what it looks going to look
like at the end of the year based online now.

(11:00):
Right now, my four Power Four Conference champions are Texas,
Ohio State, Miami, and Utah. Those are the four teams
that are going to get that buy into the quarterfinal round.
And then if you look at the at largest, it's
all SEC and Big Ten as it has been for
me all year. I've got Alabama, Ole, Miss Tennessee, and Georgia,
all SEC teams hosting first round games. And then Oregon,

(11:24):
Penn State, USC and Boise State is the G five
AQ for me for right now. So those are the
twelve teams I have in the playoffs. If we're using
right now data to project forward and simulate the rest
of the year.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
When you compare your data that predicted finishes to start
the year and your data for now, obviously Florida State
jumps out at you. Who else though, has underachieved again
based upon predictive analysis.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
Yeah, so the underachievers for right now, you're looking at
Florida State certainly as the team that has underachieved the most.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
But if we look at.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Other team in the Power for Kansas in terms of
the win loss record, they are also about two wins
short of where we expected them to be through four
weeks of the season. Keeping it at the Power four level.
In the SEC, Mississippi State and Auburn are off the
slower starts than we expected, and Virginia Tech out of
the ACC also with a win fewer than we projected

(12:21):
through four weeks. On the flip side, the overachievers teams
that have a better win loss record than we projected
by significant margin, BYU out of the Big twelve, Illinois
out of the Big ten, both of those teams at
least one and a half more wins than expected. Also
in the Power four ranks, you have Pitt Boston College,
Arizona State, and Tennessee as teams that are right now

(12:42):
more than one game ahead of where we expected them
to be through four weeks.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Bama Georgia, right, Maama Georgia, what's it look like? What's
the computer, and the numbers think it looks.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
Like So right now, I'm a little curious because the
Vegas line at last time I checked is like Georgia
minus two to two and a half. And if I'm
looking at my predictive numbers, I actually make Alabama the
favorite in this game, and it's really it's by more
than a field goal. I mean, right now, I have
Alabama as a slightly better power rated team than Georgia,
with a power rating of twenty nine point five Georgia's

(13:17):
power rating twenty seven point five, So that's a two
point difference on a neutral field. Of course, this game
is in Bryan Denny in Tuscaloosa at night, so you're
going to flay a home field advantage there. So I
actually like Alabama by more than a field goal. So
either there's I think there's one of two things happening,
or maybe a combination of both. People are holding onto
their preseason priors the notion that Georgia was and it

(13:38):
is the best team in college football. That's what everyone
kind of thought my model included coming into the year,
And or people are discounting Alabama still because it's post
Nick Saban and Kaylen debor is not him, and they're
not convinced that he's going to be able to have
the same level of success on this Saturday against Georgia.
So I think there's two things at play. My model
does like Alabama to win this game outright and there

(13:58):
right now are a Vegas underdog. So I've got a
sixty five percent win expectancy for the Tide. But regardless
of what the models think and everything, this is going
to be a phenomenal college football game. All of these units,
all four offense defense for both teams are in the
top eight nationally. It's just going to be a heavyweight fight,
one that we probably wouldn't have seen without if not

(14:19):
for the twelve team playoff era and the SEC doing
away with their division and having these these heavyweights play
more frequently in the regular season. So unsurprisingly, this game
scores a ten point zero on a ten on a
zero to ten scale for me and watchability. So it's
going to be the best game of the year we've
seen so far, and by the end of the year,
I do expect it to be in kind of the
top five games that we've seen in a regular season.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Oklahoma got smacked by Tennessee. They's changed quarterbacks, right, and
I love that. I may everybody Jackson ARL's the next
right quarterback, don't eat Dylan Gabriel. Three games in los
he loses his job. So how does that change the
predictive analysis when the quarterback changes.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
So we definitely have to evaluate those types of teams
a little bit differently, and you're going to your returning
production numbers for those guys. And again, as a five
star or as an incoming freshman quarterback, you don't have
returning production, so you're leaning on what are the recruiting
ratings for that player. And so again for Oklahoma, it's
not like they're devoid of talent at the quarterback position,
but they have decided to make the change. The offense

(15:24):
did look better once they made that change. So I
still think for Oklahoma as we project forward, it didn't
hurt them a ton by changing the quarterback here, and
actually we expect it might improve them long term. That's
why you make the change.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Right.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
So Oklahoma was downgraded about a point because of the
performance that they had against Tennessee a week ago, but
they're still a favorite for me this week going on
the road at Auburn. Then they are off before they have,
of course the Red River Shootout against Texas at the
Texas State Fair there in Dallas, the Cotton Bowl. So
it's going to be tough for Oklahoma. This schedule is
among the top five most difficult in the country. I

(15:56):
still have seven and five now as the most likely
I could for this Oklahoma team with a twenty four
percent chance to reach at least eight wins, which I
think most Oklahoma fans, given the schedule and their first
year in the SEC, would probably be okay with that's
not the long term.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
No actually, no, no, no, Kelly, have you been to
Oklahoma before?

Speaker 5 (16:18):
I have been to Oklahoma. I do not spend a
lot of time around Oklahoma fans. I do Doug, I
gotta say, And maybe this is unrealistic if you're looking
at the schedule this team face. Their first year in
the SEC, they were Delta very tough schedule. Their big
rivals Texas were not delta tough schedule. So I'm hopeful
that the Oklahoma fan base has a little bit of
that context as they're viewing it. I understand that's not

(16:38):
usually how it works in college football, but there's a
six percent chance to reach nine wins. I mean, maybe
that's okay for Oklahoma fans, but certainly that is in
the outlier results now at this point for the Sooners.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Okay, well help me out here, Okay, what why is?

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Why is the.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Oklahoma's schedule seen as so difficult?

Speaker 6 (16:55):
Like?

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Right, they do? I think they're going to lose at
Auburn and it's tough place. But what has Auburn done
to look? You know, Auburn hadn't beaten anybody either, and
Auburn lost Arkansas at home, lost to Cal at home,
beat New Mexico in Alabama, A and M you know. So,
I mean, I guess my question is what about Oklahoma's
schedule is is so much more difficult than for example, Texas's.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
Absolutely, it's a great question. That's something I spent a
lot of time with Doug is trying to talk to
people about how do we determine schedule difficulty Because a
lot of casual college football fans will say, well, we're
playing an undefeated team this week. They must be really
good and we should get a lot of credit for
beating them. What I'm suggesting we do is kind kind
of change how we think about that. It's not so
much what's your opponent's record, what's your opponent's ranking, it's

(17:40):
what's your opponent's power rating, because that's how that's really
in terms of achieving a win. That's the difficulty level
because you can play let's just use an example. You
can play a eleven to zero Liberty team who might
be ranked at the time late in the year, or
you can play a six and five Oklahoma team who
certainly is not going to be ranked. Which one would
you not play at that time? Most people are going

(18:02):
to say, I'd rather play that eleven and zero Liberty
team because they are perceived at least to be not
quite as strong. Their power rating is going to reflect
Oklahoma being the superior team. So if we look at
the schedule of Oklahoma and why is it such a
difficult schedule, If we look at the power ratings of
the teams, Oklahoma has on their schedule number one Texas
at a neutral site, Number two Alabama, number six, Old

(18:24):
Myths on the road, number sixteen Missouri on the road,
number seventeen LSU on the road, twenty five South Carolina
at home, thirty three Auburn on the road. They just
played Tennessee, the number five power rated team. So that's
the SEC slate for Oklahoma. If you look at Texas,
they avoid Alabama, they avoid LSU, they avoid Missouri, they

(18:45):
avoid Old miss they avoid Tennessee.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
So when you look at these.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
Conferences have gotten so large that it's not really your
record is what it says you are even in conference
play because the disparity and scheduled difficulty within these conferences
now is so bad. So Texas gets a great schedule,
Oklahoma gets a tough one. And that's why at the
end of the year it both be seen ended with
the same record. I would say Oklahoma had the better
year because they played, by my numbers, a significantly more

(19:11):
difficult schedule.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Correct, they won't end up with the same record. I'm
barring a clash from debt. But but but it will,
it will be interesting. But and and again, remember it's
Kelly Ford cave Forday is the ratings. He's the one
who said people in Oklahoma like that taken be eyed.
If you just win seven games this year, there's.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
I said, hey, hey, I think you said.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Okay, I'm not gonna argue one more on on this weekend.
That does have major potential playoff implications. Can't lose to
to and Row. You got k State and Oklahoma State
in in the little Apple.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Yeah, this game is huge.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
I've got it DOUG as an elimination game with regard
to at large status. So a lot of work you
in the CFP space is how many regular season wins
does your team need to get to be in that
conversation to be in that discussion for an at large
bid at the end of the year. Both of these teams,
now if they pick up one more loss, cannot achieve

(20:14):
that regular season wins threshold. So this is by no
means an elimination game technically in the Big twelve conference race,
for all intents and purposes, it might be, and along
with that comes the CFP at Large consideration too, So
this is an absolutely massive game. If we look at
you know who my numbers like, because I pull up
my Big Twelve page here really quickly. Both these teams

(20:35):
coming off of disappointing performance this year. I've got Kansas
State because they are at home in this one with
a fifty four percent win expectancy over Oklahoma State, even
though I have Oklahoma State as a better Power rated
team I think the fact that it's in Manhattan, it's
going to give Kansas State that advantage. If you look
at the matchups, you know, the Case State offense against
the Oklahoma State defense and vice versa, it's very very similar.

(20:59):
I mean, the first unit in this game for me
is probably the Oklahoma State defense. I have the number
forty three in the country, but the best unit in
this game is probably the Oklahoma State offense, who I
have number twenty six in the country. So I think
it's going to be really close. It's got a watchability
score of nine point one out of ten, so certainly
one of the best games of the weekend, and the
stakes are very high, both with in conference play and

(21:20):
for what it means at the end of the year.
Come CFP at large consideration time.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Awesome stuff as always, Kelly Ford. Check out kfod ratings
dot com. Check about on social media as well. Kelly,
you are the best. Really appreciate you.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Thanks, Douger, appreciate you as well.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Let's find Out who or what is annoying Jason Stewart,
And now it's.

Speaker 7 (21:51):
Your annoying, Hey, Doug. It's an election season. We're six
weeks out, maybe five weeks out from the election day,
and we get lied to every day by politicians and
advocates and everything, and then the Lakers lie to us.

(22:12):
Remember they've been lying to us the entire time about
this Brawny thing and about the jj Reddick hiring, and
the lies continued yesterday as jj Reddick, I think was
the Lakers opening press conference for the season, was asked
if it's tricky navigating Brownie's playing time this upcoming season.

Speaker 8 (22:32):
I don't look at it as a challenge that's unique
from any other challenge of coaching a player or coaching
a relationship. You know, Bronnie. I feel very fortunate that
I get to coach him because he's young, and he's hungry,
and he's got a lot of inherent skill sets that
we can really mold into a really good NBA player.

(22:53):
On top of that, he's a fantastic kid. He's extremely coachable,
he's got the right spirit and energy every single day.
So I it's not something I've really thought of as
a challenge, if that makes sense.

Speaker 7 (23:07):
So the annoying part about this is that the Lakers
are treating this like it's something other than a side show.
All of this was done to suit Lebron's ego so
that he could play with his son, and it's actually
a really neat story. I just don't want to be
lied to. Don't bsmate, just say, hey, this is a
cool opportunity to do something for that one of the

(23:28):
best players to ever play the game, and it's not
going to hurt anybody, and maybe it'll put some butts
in the seats, but this is a side show. And
then he'll go down to the jewegue.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
I mean, like, look, I agree with you.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
I completely you, and I know you and I know
the reality to it. But I don't think you can
say that, right. I don't think you. I mean, do
what anybody say that? You're just mad because you know
you're right. But I gotta yeah, like, are you really
going to say that at a press conference at media day?

(24:05):
You wouldn't say that about anybody, let alone, I mean,
do they say that about Giannis's brothers when they're on
the on the now?

Speaker 7 (24:13):
I mean, I would you agree though that something short
of he's gonna be a good NBA player and he's
got great skills. I mean, I think all that stuff
is just exaggerating and I don't believe it. This has
been done for one reason.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
So he's not gonna be a great player. Yes, I agree,
I mean, like, look and then he's a great kid.
Like I don't think anybody cares at that point.

Speaker 7 (24:38):
There's a lot of great kids with a lot of
energy that are coachable that aren't very good NBA players.
Alissa Thomas is one of the best players in the WNBA.
She plays for the Connecticut Son Uh. They just got
done sweeping Caitlin Clark's fever yesterday and then it just
became about toxicity and racism at the press.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
Honestly, it's it's been a lot of nonsense. I think
in my eleven year career, I've never experienced the racial
comments from the Indiana Fever fan base. We had her
face on a serious matter that happened in this world,
and it's unacceptable, honestly, and yeah, there there's no place

(25:21):
for it. And we've been professional throughout the whole entire thing.
But I've never been called the things that I've been
called on social media and and and there's no place
for it. Basketball is headed in a great direction, but
we we don't we don't want fans that are going
to degrade us and call us racial names. I mean,
we already see what's happening in the world and and

(25:42):
what we have to deal with.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
In that aspect.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
And you know, we come to play basketball for our
job and it's fun, but we don't want to go
to work every day and and and have social media
blown up over over things like that. It's it's it's
uncalled for, and something needs to be done, whether it's
you know, them checking their fans or this lead checking.
There's there's no time for it anymore.

Speaker 7 (26:04):
Yeah. I like how she struggled with the solution there
at the end, because there is no solution. Uh, social
media is toxic. You have assholes that say stupid things
all the time on social media. There's no way to
do anything about it to prevent it. After the fact,
maybe you can enforce it, but that sounds ridiculous, like

(26:24):
a ridiculous waste of resources. The w n b A
came out with a statement denouncing racism and people who
are racist. Who doesn't agree with that it's I just
don't understand what the solution is here. It sounds like
a bunch of people saying that's wrong.

Speaker 8 (26:38):
To me.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
It seems like the cost of fame. You know. It's
like it's like when when some when a famous person says,
I don't want to be stalked. You know, stalking is bad.
I denounce stalking. Yeah, it's also the cost of fame.
You can't account for every fucking crazy loser out there.
What what? What's what exactly what we're supposed to do
about this?

Speaker 2 (26:59):
It's a great question. I have a lot of questions here.
What was yelled from the stands? And why are Indiana
fans racist when only two of their players are white?
That one I'm struggling with a little bit.

Speaker 7 (27:11):
She said a couple of specific things. She said she's
never received racist comments from Fever fans, and.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Then until this year.

Speaker 7 (27:19):
Then she says her face is on a serious issue.
What do you mean her face? What does that mean?

Speaker 2 (27:26):
It must be somebody user on the meme or something.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
It's that right, Yeah, I don't know, hmm.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Yeah, I mean just again like this is we said this.
I think in yesterday's pod, we talked about Hey, you
can't take seriously what every idiot tweets or whatever like,
and I hold it against true, we hold it against

(28:02):
and these e Hollywood shows or whatever where you promote
Rando's narps would be my my daughter would say, like
you promote all their doing, all they're saying by you know,
giving their tweet a voice if you will, amplifying their tweet.
I think that's wrong. I think that's what she's doing.

(28:25):
I do think it's pretty easy to if you find
a racist tweet, send it to somebody and whatever, and
people can I mean, but otherwise, yeah, like what are
we doing here? Like just talk about the game. That's
the choices.

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Yeah, So Alyssa Thomas her comments and the Lakers for
a lying to me.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
I'm gonna say the Lakers for lying to you because that's.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Oh why are we doing this?

Speaker 1 (29:05):
I do.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Because we can.

Speaker 7 (29:11):
Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce, they have a podcast. It's very popular.
They're gonna get paid a lot of money to do it.
And they had this exchange about Travis Kelce just not
getting a whole out of love this year, numbers being down, It's.

Speaker 9 (29:24):
Gonna go your way, especially if you freaking keeping the
guy you've always been, you know what I mean. There
ain't nobody that I've ever played sports with, and nobody
that anybody's ever been on a team with that has
loved being out there with travmore And I know it's
it's frustrating for me to watch and have to listen to,
but I can't wait. And we don't got to put

(29:46):
that in there, but I just can't wait. I fucking
can't wait for it to turn.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
And if it doesn't, as long as we're winning football games,
were good to go.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Baby, I can't get an emotional It's like it's your brother.
You are your brother's keeper, right, And he said, if
it doesn't, well it doesn't.

Speaker 6 (30:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
I mean it's a good thing they're winning football games,
but man, it makes a lot of money. Gotta get
some more balls. Why can we play for you? Because
we can. That's it for the in the Bonus Podcast.
