Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, this is the Doug Gottl Show Years in
the Bonus with Doug Gottl.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Godleib Show in the Bonus, Fox Sports Radio, iHeartRadio app
Welcome in. You know, we don't usually talk about baseball
except for Jason Stewart complaining about something having to do
with the Dodgers. Right, that's kind of our mo. And
then we also the only other time we'll talk about

(00:32):
baseball was in Daniel Jeremiah joins us and then he'll
talk about Padres. But again, the only reason that works
is because he likes to tweak or he likes to
you know, kind of poke the bear and Jason Stewart
talking about the Dodgers last night was the perfect example
of what is amazing about postseason baseball. Baltimore Orioles were

(00:53):
once again eliminated, this time in two games, as they
scored one run in two games the Kansas City Royals,
and I was thinking, you know, one of the guys
that works for me, Dennis Harrington, one of my assistant coaches,
is a gigantic Mets fan, so kind of as a
gag and kind of as like, I sort of want
the Brewers to win only for personal gain. Only I

(01:15):
like the Brewers. I like Murph as a skipper, I've
met the front office. All those things are good. But
in all honesty, I know I can get tickets to
a Brewers game, and who wouldn't want to go to
like an l NLCS or a World Series? Whereas it
the Mets, which was my late father's team. Like what
does that do for me? I mean it makes Dennis Harrington,

(01:36):
who works for me, very happy. So I'm watching the game.
It's a it was a three to two game. First,
it was three to one up until the fifth inning
and the Brewers put a run on the board. But
it's a three to two game, and you start to
think the Mets are up one game to none, Mets
are going to eliminate the Brewers. What happened? How do
we look at the Brewers season now? And then you

(01:57):
start to look forward to the possibility the Mets and
the is which actually is a lot of fun because
anybody can root against the Phillies because the Piladelphia and
then Jackson Surro hits a home run and everything changes.
We'll bring in Dennis Harrington, who's our resident Mets fan,
Mets fanatic, uh Jay stew he is to the Mets
as you are to the Dodgers. Like you guys start,

(02:19):
you guys start kind of geeking out and then stressing out. Dennis,
what is your what is your blood pressure today? How?
How is how is your health today?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Not great? Health? Not great? First of all, first time,
long time, been a big fan. I think my pressure
took a long time to come back down today. Just
kind of a classic Mets night last night right where
they're early they're a team of destiny, and then late
they revert back to being the New York Mets of

(02:49):
a long time, which is quite difficult to navigate as
a person.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Why. I mean, here's what I don't understand about Mets fans.
Like the Mets are are Usually they'll have a year
or two here or there where they're terrible, but they've
they've been competitive, been in the playoffs, been the World
Series several times over the last decade. Why do Mets
fans act like what was me? We're always bad?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Because the problem with the Mets is it isn't that
they're bad, It's that when they are bad, it becomes
a mockery. Mostly because you share a town and you
share media space with the Yankees, who even when they're bad,
they never make themselves a joke and it's just always
like so quick to be you know, kind of lol
mess as they say. So that's kind of a you know,

(03:33):
it's quite frankly, it's a little bit of a little
man's complex. Being a little brother in town is not
fun and I hate to admit that, but that's kind
of the fact of the matter. So that's the biggest
thing is it's always just kind of trying to prove
a point, and usually the point actually kind of blows
up in our face, which is really tricky.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
All right, So give me a quick preview of Game three.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Game three is going to be you know, it's at
the start, and quite frankly, if he doesn't look great
from the beginning, he's probably gonna go two or three innings.
David Peterson is available, Bhutto is available, so it's gonna
end up becoming a bullpen game.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Most likely.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Edwin Diaz has to be fresh, you know, Major League
Baseball in the Atlanta Braves did everything they could to
really mess with the Mets last week going into the playoffs,
so Diaz's availability was questioned last night. Don't get me
started on that one, but bullpens should be fresh and
rested for the most part, especially with some starting pitcher's

(04:36):
arms available on the front end. The biggest thing is
the Mets have to keep manufacturing runs. They can't leave
runners and runners on base runners on scoring position really
hurt them last night. They had a chance to put
five or six up and they couldn't squeeze a few
more across, and that really really was their undoing irregardless
of how they used the bullpen.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
If they lose tonight. How did you characterize their season?

Speaker 3 (05:08):
A good question. Surprisingly a bit of a bit of
a surprise. Right early in the year, they're zero to five.
Gary Cohen, who I think is, for my money, the
best announcer in baseball, He's like, basically, the season is
over a weekend. The Mets were really really bad eleven
games under. So I like the fight. The fact that
they gave us something enjoyable to watch.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
This year.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Was kind of remarkable at different points, but ultimately, like
this team they've got, you know, I think the best
all around fielding and hitting player in baseball in Francisco
indoor this year, and you have a guy like that,
and you got to be able to punch through a
serious and win two out of three. They got to
get to play the Phillies. They got to go to
Philadelphia over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Here's here's here's the pledge I will make to you. Okay,
and Jay s dou, I think you can get behind this.
Nobody likes Philadelphia, right right? Does anybody? Jay dude? Do
you like Philadelphia? Sam? Do you like Philadelphia?

Speaker 4 (06:03):
I tell you I am a Phillies fan. Actually you
are a fan? Yeah? Yeah, A story like. The more
the more I experienced Brice Harper, the more I want
him to win a title. So I guess the answer
to that question is I pull for him. I don't
know if I pull for them or their fans, but
that's my answer.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Wow, it's kind of disappointed. Yeah, can I Dennis? Here's
the thing with basketball work, you actually work for me.
I could fire you. I don't think I can fire
those guys, is what I want to Here's the thing.
I don't care about the Philly team. I cannot stand
the Philly fans. They are a thoroughly unlikable group, fairly

(06:46):
unlikable group. Okay, Well, my pledge to you is I
will be all in on the Mets. If they win tonight,
I probably be more Brewers, right but tomorrow, last last thing.
And this is a good question for Jay s dou
if you can relate to this. He was asked and
if if Dennis wanted to we get him tickets for tonight,

(07:07):
really good seats for tonight. You don't want to go? Why?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Because I don't want to be watching the game with
all of the people who want the other results. Like
I want to be sitting on my couch, you know,
with a cold beverage and some popcorn, and I want
to be able to yell at the TV and lose
my temper and you know, just quite frankly be irrational.
And I don't love doing that in public at a
baseball game. So I want to just do it by

(07:35):
my fallow in solitude. Just need myself, my Mets, and
just that's how I want to go through it. I
don't need anybody else's enjoyment. I just want to be
by myself, locked in on the game.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
What do you think of that idea? There? Jay Stu, No,
I'm with them.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
I mean, I've told you this and I've said this
on the podcast The End Game Experience is overrated in
any of the sports.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Baseball especially, but you can't see anything in baseball like
playoff Baseball is so good on TV, so good.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
Right, But if you told me right now, Doug, like
I got, I got tickets to Saturday's game against the
pod Rays, the first thing I would think about is
how much of a pain in the ass. The parking
is going to be, how much of a pain in
the ass, the traffic's going to be. I got to
get out of the stadium. It's going to be as
expensive as hell. Like I go through the ways that
I don't want to go to the game as opposed
to yeah, playoff game, I'm in. You know.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
That part, I understand. He was talking more about the
emotions of why I get team yeah, yeah, yeah, with
a group of people that don't want to see you in.
All right, Dan Bell, listen, we'll have you back on.
We see what happens with the Mets in the meantime,
rack him. I don't know, first time, long time, whatever.
We'll talk to you later.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Let's welcome in kelly Ford. Of course, K Fourratings dot
com is the website you can go to. You gilso
follow in on social media. He joined us every week.
Remember he had the predictive analysis on what the College
Floall playoff would look like. Okay, so here we are
out a week five, week six, week seven, whatever it is.
However you count weeks in college football. What's the top

(09:19):
twelve look like? With Georgia losing Alabama last week?

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Absolutely, Doug, so the projected top twelve right now? Who
use my Power Ratings results to date and the Power
Ratings right now to simulate the rest of the season.
My top four seeds the four Power four aqs Alabama,
Ohio State, Miami, and Iowa State. Actually, with some of
the carnage in the Big twelve, Iowa State is now
in there at the number four seed. Then I've got
a lot of SEC and Big ten teams after that

(09:46):
Tennessee Georgia despite the loss, still except Georgia in that playoff, Texas, Oregon,
Penn State, USC and for the first time all year, Doug,
I have a team outside of the Big ten or
the SEC in an at large spot I have Louisville
as the number eleven seed, and then Boise State as
they have been for almost every week, representing the G
five and the number twelve spots.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Okay, who's the most interesting riser in the rankings for
college football so far?

Speaker 5 (10:17):
I think right now, just holistically, the team that I'm
most impressed with, you know, in terms of exceeding their
preseed and expectations, if you will, is BYU. BYU is
five and oh. Now they are also two and oh
in one score game, so they're winning some games close,
but they have about two and a half more wins
than we expected. Right now, they're my number two most

(10:38):
deserving teams are right now, if I were to rank
the resumes of every team in college football, Alabama's number one,
of course with that great winn against Georgia, but number
two is BYU. The Cougars out of the Big twelve
are right now. They've moved all the way up in
the projections, and I am projecting them to make it
to Arlington and play Iowa State, who, as I mentioned,
is now my favorite in the Big twelve. So I
think BYU is the team that has surprised me and

(11:00):
many others more than any other team this year. Indiana
out of the Big ten of course, is another one.
They're sitting there at five to zero and are starting
to creep up the predictive metrics and the resume rankings
as well.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Stug got a show here on Fox Sports Trader that's
the voice of Kelly Ford. Kford Rings dot Com is
the site courching fom on social media as well. Who's
the most disappointing?

Speaker 5 (11:22):
There's two teams that stand out. It's probably not going
to be a surprise to anybody. Number one is Florida State.
I mean, this is a team that for many, including myself,
was among the favorites, if not the favorite in the ACC,
had a great year last year, snubbed out of the
playoffs at the end, and they have just completely collapsed
and fallen apart this year. Doug. They went from being
favorite in the conference to now projected to finish number

(11:44):
sixteen out of seventeen in the ACC. Standing that I've
only got a four percent chance that this Florida State
team even goes bowling this year now after many peg
them to potentially be in the CFP. So they're probably
my number one biggest underachiever. And then number two. I'm
going to go back the Big Twelve BYU is the
biggest overachiever. How about Kansas. I mean, this is a
team that many people thought was a dark horse and

(12:07):
maybe make it to Arlington. Certainly have a good chance,
you know, to build on on what lance Lepehold has
done there. They're off to a one in four start,
only a fifteen percent chance now to even go bowling.
I mean, their chances to win the Big Twelve are
completely shot at this point. They're zero and two in
conference play. It's just been a really disappointing year in
Lawrence after what light Bold has done the last few
years and building that program up really from irrelevancy to

(12:29):
a really strong candidate to take over this Texas and
Oklahoma list new Big twelve.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Stuck Gottlib show here on Fox Sports Radio. Who has
fallen early that you think has the best chance to
still make a run and get and get in? Is
it at large?

Speaker 5 (12:49):
So when you say fall in, I'm going to take
that to be you know, teams that have picked up
at least one loss. And so if I go to
my power ratings, which teams are still up there despite
a loss, I'm looking at ole Miss. That's the team
that just this last week lost to Kentucky at home,
a result that very few people saw coming. Notre Dame
has that inexplicable loss to Northern Illinois. They're now starting
to look like, you know, a better team, the team

(13:10):
that beat Texas, the team's coming off a win or
shooting text A and M, a team coming off a
win to Louisville. I'm also looking at Clemson. You know,
they're run off the field in Week one by Georgia.
They are certainly rounding into form. And then I did
mention Louisville just this past week losing a Notre Dame.
My numbers still really like them in their path forward
here moving moving towards the end of the season. So
I would say those are the teams that have picked
up a loss, that are that have struggled so far

(13:31):
but are starting to turn the corner and maybe maybe
have a bright second half of the season in front
of them.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Kelly Ford Kford ratings dot Com is of course the site.
I would encourage you to use it. It's awesome. He
gives us incredible, incredible info. You mentioned the group of five,
What does that look like right, like, boise was everyone's
favorite to get there. They lost by three to Oregon.
You know you have somebody are of that group of five.

(14:00):
What does it look like in terms of the climb
for that one spot.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Yeah, so I'll take a conference by conference. Boise State
is the favorite, but the biggest challenger to Boise State
out of the group of five actually resides in their
own conference and that's UNLV. This UNLV team is off
to a very hot start. I've been very impressed with them,
climbing up into the top thirty of my power ratings.
They're also in the top fifteen of my resume ranking.
So these two teams are going to play each other.

(14:24):
As I look it up, it's a week nine game
and it's going to be at UNLV. Boise State is
off the week before. That's important to know. UNLV has
to take a trip to Corvallis and play Oregon State
the week before, So that week nine matchup is going
to be huge in that G five rate for the playoff.
I'm also taking a look at the American Tulane is
looking like a good team out of that conference, and

(14:46):
right now Army is actually the projected foe in the
AAC Championship game. So really surprised by Army and Navy's
great starts. If you look at Conference USA, it's liver
to your bus. But that schedule is so weak for
the Flames that I would be pretty supper do they
end up actually making a splash? And in the Sun Belt,
James Madison the team I was high on in the preseason,
not many people were talking about because they lost Courts

(15:07):
Signetti to IU, they lost a ton of players that
followed him and became Hoosiers this year. But James Madison
is putting together a pretty sneaky good year and right now,
based on my season simulations, this could be a top
twenty five ranked a team by the end of the
season given what they have in front of them and
what they've accomplished. So they're the team to watch out
of the Sunbelt and for the MAC, I'm probably leaning
towards Toledo, but unlikely that any team from that conference

(15:31):
is going to get that G five spot, So I
would say Boise State, UNLV, Tulane, James Madison, those are
your primary contenders for that G five spot. And what's
likely going to be the number twelve Steed in the playoff.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Doug Gotle, I've show here on Fox Sports Radio. Last thing, Kelly,
Let's look forward to this weekend where we do have
even starting tonight, we got we have some games that
and this weekend not nine games that matter, but once
we get to Friday night, you know we have We
do have Oregon at home against Michigan State, the Big
twelve game doesn't matter, Syracuse at UNLV. We you mentioned UNLV,

(16:06):
and then Saturday, Okay, Missouri, Texas A and M. What
is the predictive analysis say for that matchup?

Speaker 5 (16:13):
Yeah, so if I go to that one, that's certainly
going to be, right now, by my watchability ratings, the
most high impact game of the weekend, most watchable game
of the weekend. So if I go to those team
pages really quickly, here, I have got Texas A and M.
So Missouri is the undefeated team here, right, But I've
got Texas A and M as the favorite to win
this game a sixty two percent win expectancy. So it's

(16:34):
not just the home field. I mean, it's it's very
close that Missouri number nineteen in the power rating, TEXAMM
number twenty. But if you look at the unit breakdowns
as well. It's pretty even across the board. The worst
unit in this game is probably the Missouri or excuse me,
the Texam offense, which is number thirty eight power rated.
The best unit in this game might be the Missouri

(16:54):
offense that I have number sixteen, but the home field advantage,
the fact of the Dack Fyle field, that's likely to
be the but I think it might go beyond that.
I think Missouri might be a little bit of paper
tigers this year. This is their first big tests. We're
gonna find out. They have two one score wins already
against subpar competition. So I think this is the week
that Missouri probably gets exposed and then people realize they

(17:15):
may not be as strong as a team at some
thought coming into the year. But it's gonna be a
great game. Really looking forward to that one.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Old miss They lose last week and they lost to
Kentucky at home. They go to South Carolina this week,
LSU next week, Oklahoma at Arkersa, Georgia at Florida Mississippi State.
Can they drop another one and still get into that
top twelve.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
I think they can drop one more dog. I think
ten and two that's the floor for Old Miss to
be in consideration for one of those at large spots.
And if you look at the schedule you just outlined it,
there's only one game remaining that my numbers make Ole
Miss an underdog, and that is at home in week
eleven against Georgia. It's really close to a toss of
forty seven percent winnings that can see for Old Miss.
But you touched on it. The highlight here is how

(18:00):
the heck did we lose to Kentucky last week at home?
Now Kentucky's a good team. I have them power rated
in the top twenty five, but Old misses at home.
They had been absolutely rolling this year. That loss was
just so unexpected. This offense was the number one offense
in the country for me just a couple of weeks ago,
and they only put up seventeen points against the Kentucky defense.
That's really really good, it should be noted, but that
was surprising. I do expect Blane Kiffin to get that

(18:21):
team back on track, and I do have a forty
two percent chance that Old Miss reaches that ten wins
threshold that I think they need to be in that
CFP conversation. So all is not lost for Old Miss,
but they certainly need to avoid stubbing their toe before
they played Georgia at least in week eleven.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Kelly, you're the best man. I really appreciate you joining us.
Excellent work. Look forward to talking with you next week.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Thanks, Doug, I appreciate it. Have a good one.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb
Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Let's find out Who What's annoying? Jason Stewart.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
And now it's your Hey, Doug.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
I want to say I was early on this and
I'm going to continue to beat this drump. We have
three examples I'm gonna lay out for you. Lamar Jackson
after the game on Sunday talked about some exchange he
had with people on social media about them complaining that
he didn't get the over in his game or something,

(19:27):
so he had he wanted to clarify those comments, so
he said this, gotta.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
Understand we're human too, and you know we're seeing that.
Like you know, all our life we played football. We
got to this the highest level of the professional level
to win games and not to help people with parlay.
You know, we're not betting on the games. You know,
we can't even bet on games and stuff like that,
so we're not rid about that. And I don't believe
were going into games read about stats either. You know,
we read about the w column.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
We don't care about stats or covering your bet. Here's
Raheem Morris, who was a little bit more blatant after
his game.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
But you know, really, for me, man, stats for losers.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Man.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
I don't get involved in that stuff.

Speaker 6 (20:03):
But you go out there, you try to win each game,
and we have been winning today and that's what we did.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
And then Jason Kelce on the podcast with his brother
had this to say, Stats are numbers.

Speaker 7 (20:14):
What I care about is the football. Where does it go?
Does it go in the end zone? Do we get points?
Points are also numbers, but points determine games and wins
and losses. Stats are numbers. Numbers are nerds, nerds or losers?
Therefore stats are losers.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
Okay, so just let me point this out for a second.
You're calling your fan base losers. The NFL should have
seminars where they send a person into each locker room
and maybe remind the coaches and the players of this
that the people paying their paychecks, the people breaking their
ratings records are gamblers and fantasy owners. Correct when Jason

(20:57):
Kelsey says I care about the football, you better hope
people don't care about the football and the quality of football,
because they'll stop watching. They're watching for one of two reasons.
Is my uh is my bet going to cover? And
are my players going to play and win me in
my fantasy league? So calling people losers who pay your

(21:19):
paychecks is bad business. At some point, the NFL needs
to realize this and force these people to change the messaging.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
I agree. I mean, it's it's one of those things
to where McAfee. You know, he's got his little he's
got his cronies, his sick of fans, and what he
says sounds funny and sounds cool, but it's the direct ops.
You know what's crazy about it is players will sit
there and go like, yeah, I don't care about stats,

(21:49):
and then when they want to get make more money,
they always pointed their stats.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Oh man, Donald Trump is on my list today. He's
running for president right now, there's what four weeks until
election day. He's had a rough week there was this
thing that came out yesterday where there's like new details
of what he did wrong in twenty twenty and trying
to reverse their election, and that wasn't great publicity. His

(22:17):
choice for vice president showed that he's a much better
candidate than Donald Trump for president. And then Pete Rose
died and Donald Trump tweeted this, The great Pete Rose
just died. He was one of the best, most magnificent
players to ever played the game. He paid the price.
Major League Baseball should allowed him into the Hall of

(22:38):
Fame many years ago. Do it now before his funeral. No,
that's not going to happen. Pete Roe shouldn't be let in,
And if Baseball lets him in before the funeral, it's
going to be more of the slap to the face
to the family than anything else. Donald Trump is very
much playing to his base here. Yeah, I would say

(23:00):
Pete Rose fans and Donald Trump Trump fans are the
exact same. Yes, And I'm just saying Donald Trump's annoying
for making a claim that they should do before the funeral.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Say, what, how does that make any sense at all?
It doesn't.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
They're eating the dogs.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
They're eating the dogs. They're eating the cats.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
They eating the pets of the people who live there.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Too fast, too furious.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Okay, So the third thing tonight is or today, is
this notion that the organizations are failing quarterbacks. So you know,
I I consume a ton of content, and I watched
I watched the debate shows, I I you know, I
read columns, I watch podcasts and everything else, and a

(23:57):
like a common cool thing to say is that organizations
let these young quarterbacks down. That's that's a common thing
to say. Now, I guess to sound cool, how about this.
I know gen Z is very protected. I know they
came up very protected. Everyone got a trophy, especially if
you're an athlete, you were very You were given everything

(24:18):
you ever needed in life. So I guess we feel
the need to blame something other than them for being bad. Well.
Sam Darnold was goaded into a question like that just yesterday,
and this was his answer.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Connaci.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
I've said several times here, I think this year is
and when they were looking at every deep quarterbacks and
so forth, that more often than that, organizations.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Failed young quarterbacks more than quarterbacks fail in the organizations.
Do you feel Jets failed you in any way?

Speaker 3 (24:47):
No, I think you know, I had a lot of
opportunities in New York and I always felt like I
could have played better there.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
How about that answer. So as you look at Bryce
Young right now and everybody in the medi you trying
to protect him and say that the Panthers were the
reason he sucks, how about look at the stats the
last two weeks of their current quarterback and then tell
me if Bryce Young is the problem or if the
Panthers were the problem. I think this is such a

(25:16):
gen Z thing. Let's you were a coach. You coach
young people in basketball, Doug. I'm guessing you ran into
a few parents that blamed everything other than the actual
kid for being bad at basketball or being bad at
something you were probably the target of, Like I think
God leaves the problem because it can't be my kids.

(25:39):
This is an epidemic. We need to cover for these kids.
You think of everything that could could go wrong in
his life, as opposed to being like, yeah, maybe he's
just not that good.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Welcome to my world, dude. Back in my world, it's
always you know, the coach screwed me, the school district,
my shoes, my head, whatever. At some point, and look,
I do think that organizations can screw you up, coaches
can screw you up. I do think so. Okay, but
you know I've heard that about Kayleb Williams, Like this
is a different general manager than they've had with all

(26:13):
the previous quarterbacks. They hired a whole new offensive staff.
So why are we blaming when when an organization clearly
try and do the right thing by him? Do I
think the Panthers screw screwed up by Bryce Young? Maybe
did playing him too early, maybe he did lose his
confidence and I but at some point you're just not

(26:36):
any good, Sam Donold. I have no doubt the Jets
failed him, didn't put a good enough team around him.
But I would also say, if you asked Sam, he'd
probably go like, probably should have stayed in school year
earlier year, longer, Probably should have made some demands of
the type of supports staff that I could have that
they would have. I mean, look, there is a there's

(26:58):
a level of person accountable needed, So I get that anymore.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
No, so organizations failed quarterbacks, insulting your fan base and
Donald Trump for his Pete Rose tak.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Oh Man Uh, I think insulting your fan insulting for
that's what McAfee and who is the other one? It
was it Tyreek Hill knows.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Jason Kelse, Raheem Morris, Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yeah, you guys are you're.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Why are we doing this.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Because we can.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
I don't know if you caught this over the weekend, Doug,
but this was kind of strange. So Cam Newton went
to the Colorado game and Shader Sanders and Travis Hunter
both separately blew him off. I don't know if this
was kind of like a bit then and we're all
in on the joke or something, but this was shaduor
Sanders blow wing him off and saying, I think that

(28:03):
that Cam is on that weird shit. What's going on
with Cam Newton in these Colorado players? So we know.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
I think I actually think Cam Newton has a lot
of wisdom to him, but he's definitely weird. I don't
think there's anybody who's like, oh no, that's not weird
at all. Now, the hat, the hair, the I want
to get married, Yeah, you have like eight kids, three women.
Like he's he's on one again. I'm not saying I
don't like him. I like Cam, It just he just
his approach to this whole thing is bizarre. So I

(28:41):
do get that. Why can I play for you? Because
we can? All Right, that's it for the end of

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
