Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to one of America Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox
Sports Radio. Welcome in hope you're ready for a great,
great sports weekend. Um. Look, we had last night's NBA
Draft coverage, which I thought was outstanding on Fox Sports Trading,
(00:22):
including Chris Bruce sard Uh saying a little something about
the Chris Paul extension that everyone thought was done might
not be done. Plus we got the Jamis Winston being
suspended for what exactly. Um, we'll we'll dig in on
the Denver Nuggets as their Jenner manager. Our tourist Carnisiatists,
(00:44):
of course played at Seton Hall back in the early nineties,
will be our guest. Evan Daniels will join us. We'll
talk about some of the guys, some of the lauded
college basketball players who are not selected, and some of
the surprises of last night. Um, and we'll also talk
about the Calves and Lebron. We got us, we got
We're just jam packed here. Rick Buker is gonna join us,
(01:05):
Nick Bob is gonna join us. Man, we got a
good show for you. Um, it is the summer season.
I hope you're having a great summer. It was the
waning days of spring. Now it's officially summer. I've spent
the past couple of days here in the northeast city
of Boston trying to figure out what's what with Boston Celtics.
Got a chance to be around the organization a little
(01:25):
bit today they got a new practice facility. Was spectacular. Meanwhile,
uh so spring summer has sprung here. If you will,
it is absolutely gorgeous in Boston Commons. Wherever you are,
I hope you're headed out to a lake of beach, mountain, whatever,
get outside. It's if it's great. We're watching the World Cup. Man,
how good was Nigeria today? But um, with summer comes
(01:49):
the concert season. My buddy of mine went to see
uh Darius Rucker last night in Tulsa, and Darius that
tries to face time me at like one of the
more dude them on the East not the West Coast.
I love my boy Darius. I love going to concerts.
There are certain concerts that I try and go to
every year. I'm one of those guys. Now I don't
(02:10):
love um. What I I don't love about some of
my my favorite artists are two things. One I hate UM.
I hate when they're like compilations, when they when like
like mush a bunch of songs together. But the thing
that is the hardest, the absolute hardest to take in
(02:31):
when you're at a concert is this one's from our
new album. Right, I remember this YouTube played in UM
Boston Garden last night. I didn't go. We if you've
ever been to Boston, we went to the North Side,
great Italian food, went to dinner, was amazing, watching the
NBA Draft, eating, drinking some wine, breaking some stories on Twitter.
(02:54):
It was fun. But I went to the YouTube. I
think it was Pop Mart tour. Ramos probably remembers it
because he was around Los Angeles at the time. It
was in the mid nineties. It was one of their
few albums that didn't do well, and I remember that
anything he played streets had no name all the at
the time the lighters came out. Now everybody obviously does
(03:15):
the cell phones. But when they said this is from
the pop Mart album, that's when you went and got
a beer. That's when you went and took a leak.
That's when he sat down and you talked to the
people next to you. Right, I remember, Um, I've I've
heard so many different bands in concert so many um,
(03:38):
but I remember it was the It was the very
first national tour National tour um for the Zach Brown Band,
and I was in Hartford at the time, and I
went to the concert. Now, Zach Brown Band had previously
opened for Dave Matthews Band and ZBB. If you ever
(04:00):
seen them in concert, you know this to be truth.
They got a little they got a little grateful dead
to them, right. They're all super talented musicians. One of
the worst looking groups of men as well. They're like
the country version of boys to men, right, Like if
it wasn't for music, they wouldn't get any ladies. You
put an instrument in somebody's hand, you put them on stage,
(04:21):
and the ladies flock. I can't tell you what it is,
it's just the way it is. But Zach Brown Band
has a little bit of that grateful dead Dave Matthews Band.
Every song becomes ten twelve minutes, every instrument has a solo,
and men are they talented musicians? And man, it's getting late.
It was a Sunday night in Hartford, open air, beautiful
(04:45):
night and uh when they played was a chicken fried.
I was jamming. I was jamming. But when they played
songs from their new album, considering they only had one
album out at the time, I was lost. It wasn't
just It wasn't just that they were playing songs from
(05:08):
an album. I didn't know. It was that they're playing
songs from an album. I didn't know. That took way
too long. All right, you want to play compilation, Play
compilation of the new stuff. Play the one hit that's
on the radio from the new thing. Matter of fact,
if you only had four hits, which they only had
about four at the time, just play those in repeat.
But it got long, he got drawn out. And I'll
(05:29):
be honest with you, I want a good concert. It wasn't.
I've had the opportunity see Zach Brown Band about ten
times over since then, and now they have an incredible
depth of music to deliver on. And I have no
doubt that those of you who go and see ZBB
and concert, like, dude, you're missing out. It's a great show.
(05:49):
They're up there for three hours. First of all, it's like, sorry,
Bruce Springsteen fans, when you tell me that Bruce is
up the boss is up there for three hours. That
doesn't make me want to go see Springsteen doesn't. I'm
not a Springsteen guy, and I'm just not a three
hour concert guy. I'm not a three hour movie guy.
I'm not a three hour anything guy. I get a
d D at the fourteenth hole. Anyway, My point is,
(06:13):
once you start going to this is from our new album,
it's time to get a drink, time to get a coke,
time to get a beer, time to take a leak,
time to talk sweetly to the to the things sitting
next to you. Right, that's what happened last night with
the NBA draft. All of these guys in the new
album thirteen of the first eighteen picks are one and
dunes thirteen of eighteen. It's not that they're not ultimately
(06:38):
going to be good. It's that you're telling us, trust me,
they're gonna be good when we're First, we have numbers
to point out that there's a good percentage of them
that won't be great. Secondly, even if the song is good,
if we just haven't heard it enough, if we haven't
adjusted our ears to it, it takes a while. We
(07:01):
don't know the lyrics, we don't know the melody, we
don't know the beat, we don't know the hook. We
don't know these kids. I do, but that's because that's
what I've done for fifteen years and I love it.
But I'm also reasonable, and I gotta tell you, the
NBA Draft used to be really cool. It used to
(07:21):
be really cool. I don't know when that moment was
that it wasn't that cool. But the perfect example of
how it's trying to be cool again was they did
player introductions last night. That's what they did. They admitted, Man,
we're not cool. Man, we gott alive in this thing up.
(07:42):
Let's do what's the coolest thing about basketball? Well, outside
of slam dunks and three point shots, which will show
on video, it's player intros. All we needed was, guys
was slacks, to have tearaway pants, and you would have
had the whole thing. The problem with the with the
intros is it sounded a lot better in the boardroom
than it played out on TV. I have no doubt
(08:05):
there's gonna be some good players. I have some thoughts
on each team. I'll share them with you throughout the
next three hours. You have any questions eight seven seven
nine nine fox or feel to tweet me. Feel free
to tweet me at Gottlieb Show. We can even talk
about the guys that didn't get drafted last night and
why they didn't get drafted last night. But man, there
used to be network TV used to be cool, pay
(08:30):
phones used to exist, and back when all that happened,
the NBA draft used to be a what's what and
who's who? You had to watch because? And what's the
real reason? You knew him? You knew Patrick Ewing, you
knew Larry Johnson, you knew Christian Lightner and Bobby Hurley,
(08:50):
Hecky even new Grant Hill. You go through guys and
the more you knew them, the more you felt attached
to them. It's the same with music. It's the same
with music. It doesn't matter how good this song is.
You might think that's gonna be a hit, but until
it's a hit, until it hits number one on the charts,
(09:11):
it's really hard for me to start memorizing it and
knowing it. And and you may even think it's what
we play out the top songs on Top four the radio.
They probably do ed Shearon's Perfect has played so many
times over the past year or so that it's a
completely perfectly imperfect song. I want to scream every time
I hear it. But the point is simple, just like
(09:35):
summer music, when you go to hear it and it's
this is from our new album. The NBA draft is
too many new albums, too many new players. Michael Porter Jr.
Who will talk about with our next guest, The general
manager of the Denver Nuggets, who he felt to them
at fourteen, was a top five high school American and
(09:56):
suffered an injury. There's some talk that he might not
play much at all this year, but because you didn't
see him, you have to take everybody's word for it.
Trust me, this is gonna be a hit and after
a couple hours, Like my first Zach Brown been experience,
it's hard to listen to because you don't know it.

tourist Karnish Evists is the Denver Nuggets general manager. I
want to ask him about watching Michael Porter Junior fall
(10:43):
to them and how much background research they could do.
As mp J began to descend right into their laps,
what was that decision? Like, that's upcoming next, But first,
snoring is not sleeping. That's why you need to go
to Zeppa dot com. That's z y p p a

(11:05):

watched this national's news story and they got all these
different like fixture, snoring devices and guests. Which one was
the only one to actually work? You guessed it ZIPA.
So go to Zeppa dot com, z y p p

Zeppa dot com progressives new home quote Explorer was built
to save you time and money by allowing you to
compare multiple quote options all online. So head to progressive
dot com today and see if you can save classic
story as Robert Williams, who's the first round pick of
(12:05):
the Boston Celtics, overslept the originally scheduled introduct introductionally conference
introductory conference call early this morning. Um he he thought
it was a different time zone. He didn't go to
New York for for the NBA draft. Instead, he watched
it in Louisiana. He watched the draft party. He watched
(12:27):
it from a draft party at Buffalo Wild Wings. Great
as that. So he was supposed to have eleven am
Eastern time call right after the draft, he says, quote,
I actually ran to my aunt's house went to sleep
because I was so tired from everything. When I woke up,
my sister woke me up. You have a conference call.
Williams later noted, a good night's sleep after two busy days.
(12:49):
That's a bad look. I'm not gonna lie to you.
It's a bad look. Like eleven am. When was the
last time? And I guess Barbara, this is I have kids.
When was the last time anybody you knew slept to
eleven am? Just just a question music, When was the
last time he slept to eleven am? You're the youngest children,
(13:09):
you don't you are not married. When was the last
time he slept to eleven am? Man, I'm trying to think.
It's been a few years. I can't even remember. I mean, yeah, man,
I can't. I can't even remember it. Definitely. I think
it would have had to have been when I was
still in college. Maybe. Yeah, that's a. That's a tough one.
That's a that's a I mean, listen, I want to
(13:31):
believe you. I'll tell you this about Robert Williams. It's
like one of those like why did he drop? I
can't believe he dropped. Awesome athlete, but a guy who
needs to play with a great motor and did not
always play with a great motor. They didn't have a
great culture of Texas A M, even though they had
tremendous talent at Texas A and M. But if you
(13:52):
want to know why a guy who was projected to
go mid first round goes at the end of the
first round and then he oversleeps from eleven am conference call.
You're like, okay, got it understood, Like, there's that's the there,
there's a rookie move. But more than anything, there's some
confirmation biased as to why he's on the board so
(14:14):
long by or you're yeah, you're you've been single up
until last I don't know a year and a half
or so, right, So when was the last time? Oh no,
it's uh, who's Isaac blowing crowns here? Isaac? When was
the last time you slept eleven o'clock? Isaac has done
late nights too. I'm sorry, Doug, I'm just jumping in here.
(14:35):
I was monitoring Switzerland and Serby off the World Cup.
Could you repeat that, Yes, last time you slept eleven
am was win. That's my answer before I had kids
and since then you can change that to to six
thirty am at the latest. Yeah. So like again, Robert, like,
(14:57):
I get it, dude. You're tired, you're all over the country,
you're working out, you're emotional, you're waiting, you're waiting your wait,
and you're called into the first round, which is you know,
into the ten close to eleven o'clock hour. You get
all excited your video and you go to your grandma's house,
you celebrate, maybe have a maybe you have a sip
of something or two just to celebrate, and you go
(15:17):
to sleep and you crash. You wake up at eleven o'clock.
Yeah no, yeah, no. I guess the thing there is
not knowing that I mean, I get the time zone
thing is a is an easy fallback, I guess you
(15:38):
could say. But not knowing that you clearly are going
to have some type of obligation the day after you
get drafted is of concern as well. Yeah, by the way,
um uh. Jonathan Givney from ESPN dot com wrote of
the six guys that are gonna make the best picks
(15:58):
in the draft, Robert Williams he's got shop blocking and
and lob catching potential of Clint Capella. He's more suited
for an open NBA game if if he can get
up before eleven am. Right, that that's really what it
comes down to. If he can get up for eleven am.
That's one of those like I just I can't relate
(16:18):
to people. I have no kids. We dropped our kids
at camp. I have no obligations. I was up at
seven in the morning. Uh, anyway. So that's It's just
the whole thing is fascinating to me. Why guys dropped
(16:39):
and then they dropped me, Like, oh, that's why the dropped.
We told you about Michael Porter Jr. Going back to yesterday,
Like there's once you if you missed most of this
year with an injury, and there's red flags because because
of injury, You're like, man, I I know, the kid
is really talented. It's the top five high school American.
Some people thought not all, but there was discussion he
(17:00):
could be a top two, top three guy before the
season began. I started the year under the auspice that
Mike uh that that Bagley would be um the number
one overall pick, and of course DeAndre a and surpassed him,
and I mean really just improved leaps and bounds and
improved his body and played harder. But look, Michael Porter Jr.
(17:22):
Was in that discussion to start the year. He only
played three games, he suffered through an injury, and there
were I think some missteps in terms of some of
the ways in which he handled himself. You want a
kid to be confident, but you don't want a kid
to be arrogant, especially when you're walking into a league
of grown men with his only four players in the
entire world. Whatever it was, it caused a guy who
(17:43):
was again preseason top five even before the draft, a
lot of people had him top ten to to wait
longer than people could could for would ever think he
would would would last. That's what happened. We're gonna get
you to the Denver Nuggets general manager in a in
a moment and figure out exactly how they knew what
(18:08):
they knew and when they knew it, and how much
background digging they had to do before they're like, oh
my gosh, this guy who we didn't think would be available,
would be available. Let's get to him now. Our tourist
cornishapist course, was a great player. Going back to his
day's seton Hall played overseas um and uh and now
is a general manager of the Denver Nuggets. He was
promoted h to assistant general manager and vice president of
(18:30):
basketball operations going back a year ago. And then of
course he's been you know, with the team since I
think two thousand thirteen. And this is a team that
has for my money, the best maybe the best player
that uh Yo Kich that no one in mainstream America.
I'm basketball fans in mainstream America really knows all that
(18:50):
much about our tourist. Cornishap has joined us on the
Doug Gatlup Show on Fox Sports Radio. Take me through
the waiting process in the first round, When did you
think Michael Porter Jr. Might end up volunteer? Well, thanks
for having me um. Well, you know, in the beginning,
we you know, we we we all got physicals from
(19:13):
for Michael, and we had our UM training staff with us,
some doctors, and we had their opinions and and we
were waiting just like every every other team. We had
our board ready in terms of ranking, and we had
Michael you know, going much earlier than fourteen, and we
(19:35):
didn't expect him to be there. So, uh, let's going back.
When did you when you like, when you start elbowing
each other, going, he's gonna fall to us? Whoa around
I don't know, around eight or nine. I think there
was like there was a kind of feel that you know,
he's falling in terms of his value as a player,
(19:56):
you know, so you can see that there's a warrior
there by teams they're trying to pick very high in
the lottery, so once it happened. When once you know,
we got to fourteen, we made you know, collective decision
to uh just select Michael. Did you did you take
a moment and go back through the medicals to like,
(20:17):
is there something we missed here? Like there's gotta be
Was there a moment which like, now come on, now
there's wait, there's something something somebody's not telling us. While
there's you know, the all the information was already you know,
uh done by then, because we we also spoke to him,
and we spoke to the doctors a couple of days
(20:39):
leading uh to the draft and uh and then we
had our doctors there as always actually in a in
a in a draft room and collectively, you know, as
a group, we were ready to pick him. Managing Risks,
our tourist Countish miss joining us. He's the gentleman inger
(21:00):
of the Denver Nuggets. They selected Michael Porter Jr. Number
fourteen in the first round of the NBA Draft. There
was some talk that he's there's already a plan where
he'll miss some time. This from other teams like, well,
if you draft him, he may miss some time. Is
that what you're understanding is that your guys plan with
the Nuggets. Oh absolutely. I mean, we we know how
(21:22):
good of a player he is. We know how talented
he is. We we know that. You know, on the sixteens,
on the under seven team, Sunday eight teams, he was
the best player USA Basketball. He was you know, Mcdonaldsall
American and and so forth and so on. So we
know the talent is there is just now we have
to be patient and they think our roster can sustain that,
(21:43):
and you know, take our time and be very conservative
conservative by the way, side, note, you're from Clipid originally?
Aren't here? Yes? I was one? Okay, you do now,
But did you grow up in Clipido or did you
grew up in you up? No, I grew up in Villainess.
But my my, my family, my mom's families from Claypoland
(22:04):
that's where I was born and that's where I spent
most of my summer. Okay, good enough, because when I
played I played in I played in Russia with a
team called You're All Great and we came in train
there for like a month leading up to the playoffs
and it is one of the prettiest places I've ever been.
Like I had no idea it was such a beautiful
place on earth. Wonderful, wonderful city with lots of dunes
(22:28):
and sand, a lot of beaches. Our tour Startiship is
joining us on the Doug Gottlieb Show. Okay, so let's
fast forward into the start of the season. What what
does this do to your expectations your personal expectations for
the Nuggets will be next season. Oh, the expectations are
the same, you know, the growth and playing in the playoffs.
(22:49):
I mean, that's that's our expectations. Um um, you know, Uh,
selecting fourteen, you know, it doesn't change that doesn't change
that We're gonna have to wait for Michael at some
point and be control that. Yeah. Also, yeah, Justin Jackson,
who's another super talented player who missed most of the
(23:10):
season due to injury. Right, Like the training staff has
got to get up and running really quickly, don't they. Oh? Absolutely,
But we believe in our roster quality and uh, you know,
we have absolutely have to do a lot of work
now in free agency as well, uh, you know, to
resigning players and retaining players. So I think, uh, we're
(23:33):
trying to continue keeping the same players in the same cores,
and we're very excited to where we have and and
you know with the Jamal Gary, Nicole Paul, I mean,
that's an exciting team. How do you make it? How
do you make it a destination player? I mean, can
can you make it a destination place for a free
(23:55):
agent or in Denver? Do you have to simply grow
from within? Well, I think we have to show sustainable
success and once the team is in the playoffs, and
and I think there's there's a lot of excitement following
this season. We've been you know, mine or ten times
on national TV, so so people people see us and
(24:15):
there's a lot of we got a lot of fans,
not only from Denver. So hopefully the winning is going
to get our attention, and that's what we want before
before we we get ahead of ourselves, I think we
need to show results that that's that's absolutely fair and
and honestly, like the best thing about Porter, if he's
(24:37):
healthy and he lives up to the expectations is you know,
you guys were one of the only teams that went
for it and you didn't succeed. Right, there's so many
teams at the bottom like we're not going to make
the playoffs, and they started tanking. You didn't. You tried
to make the playoffs, you come up just so short.
And there's been a lot of criticism of the lottery system,
which penalizes teams that go for it, that try and
win as many games as possible. This kind of goes
(25:00):
counter to it. If you were in charge of tourists,
if you were in charge of the draft system, Okay,
you've been all over the world, you see how this
stuff works. How would you do it? How would you
set up who drafts went well? I probably would prefer
the teams that actually barely miss it to get more
preference in this equation instead of the teams that actually
(25:24):
have only twenty wins. So I think, you know, by selecting,
like we're talking about our fourteen thick this year, is
just that kind of talent is not available unless there's
certain risks. And then this equation was you know, obviously
it's medical, so that that kind of talent doesn't get
to fourteen if that doesn't happen. I know, look, I
(25:47):
know you're Lithuanian and he's Slovenian, but there is still
a certain bond on some level international players trying to
make it here in the States uh, you were previously
even a scout for a long time in this league. Um, Luca,
what what's what? What are reasonable expectations for Luca don't
in this league? Well, he's he's not. I mean he's
(26:11):
he's uh, could be, you know, one of the most
decorated players at that age coming from Europe. I mean
his nineteen years ahold that won the euro Basket, that
won the euro League, was the EuroLeague m v P
was a c B m v P, which is Spanish league. Um,
I mean, he's has to be one of the most
(26:35):
decorated players coming from Europe at the age of nineteen. No.
But but my guess my question is though from your
evaluating process, you mean all star solid player, Like I'm like, look,
you've seen more of these type of players, and you've
seen the evolution of the NBA. What should our reasonable
expectations be here in the States? Well, the expectations when
(26:56):
you pick so high, I think, are you heading for
the for the All Star? Right? So when when teams
are picking this this high, I think the expectations are
I'm I'm selecting a potential All Star. Um and usually
it happens actually top five because the percentage of likelihood
of you landing an All Star after five and you
(27:16):
know uh decreasing worthily. So well, listen, you also drafted
one of the all time great kids, and Thomas Welch.
I love him. My brother recruited him, uh to to
cal when he was there. So you've got three good players,
three interesting stories. And if Michael Porter Jr. Is healthy,
you might have gotten the Gem in the first round.
Thanks so much for joining us on Fox Sports Trade.
(27:38):
Looking forward to seeing what your team does the rest
of the offseason. Thank you, Thanks, thanks for having me
our tourist, Corniationist joining us. The general manager of the
Denver Nuggets. What a fascinating, fascinating team they're going to
be to watch all that young talent. And of course
look Denver Western Conference finals, going back like a decade
ago when they had Carmelo Anthony, they had Alan iverson
(28:00):
a really good Kenyan Martin, really good team under George
Carl they stripped it down, they've rebuilt it. They barely
missed the playoffs this past season. Cars are a lot
like sports. Get out the right tools you want to
go far. Luckily, auto Zone is a free loan tool
program with over a hundred specially tools to get the
job done right. Stopping a day a puzzles required getting
the zone auto zone check back in with Isaac Loewen Krawn.
Isaac what he got for us in the news of
(28:21):
the day, Doug. As we speak at the World Cup,
Serbia and Switzerland are tied one one. In the seventy
seventh minute, Serbia had a one nothing lead, but then
in the fifty second minute the Switzer on the attack.
Here this is a good moment for the parrot. Sho
(28:42):
you got Switzerland, that's tied it off. It's solute blazer
from long range the Coln Fox. So it's Serbia one,
Switzerland one. Now in the seventy eight minute earlier today,
Switzerland is gonna tie you, right, Switzerland is gonna remain news.
That's who they are. They're neutral on everything. I think
(29:03):
it was Vince Scully, the Great Vince Scully, who made
this one remark, and I'll translate it to Switzerland soccer.
If Switzerland was involved in a three game series, they
would find a way to split a three game series
one one. And let's see now, thirteen minutes left to
play in the second half, minus of course, stoppage time.
It could be another inevitable neutral Switzerland result. Earlier today,
(29:28):
Brazil and Costa Rica went into stoppage time, but they
were scoreless until Solo Bronz comes in from our Solo
ntted down in front control say Sales surely winn stoppage time.
The callin FS one. Nay More would score another goal
(29:50):
just six minutes later, still in stoppage time for Brazil
as they went at to nothing. With the lost Costa
Rica was eliminated from contention of the knockout round. And finally,
also today, Nigeria defeated Iceland, also by a two nothing score,
with both goals being scored by Ahmed Musa dud Back
to you, I have a I have a question. Um. Obviously, Isaac,
(30:12):
you've been covering this. You know the story. Um, I'm
trying to figure out why the NFL is suspending Jamis Winston.
It obviously dating back at the time. I remember when
the when the story first broke about two thousand, sixteen,
two years ago, a woman said she gave him a ride,
(30:32):
an Uber Uber ride, and that he reached over and
grabbed her private area. Um, and he said he looked
that there was actually two other people in the car,
One that he named was who was another football player
from Florida State. One that he would not name. Uh,
that was supported and it the thing went away, right.
(30:53):
That was two years ago, So I yeah, it wasn't.
It was pretty much a surprise. It's not as if
this was on our radar the whole time, that hey,
this is coming. But it was most unusual to all
of a sudden hear about that yesterday, Like you said,
two years after this news first broke. You're right, which
which brings me thanks so much, Isaac, which which brings
(31:15):
me to the UM. I just I don't understand. I
don't understand unless there there's something in his text messages
which are which are damning. You remember Winston at the time,
let's go back March of two thousand and sixteen, over
two years ago, he denied the allegation he touched female
(31:37):
Uber driver in the in the crotch during a stop
at a drive through the Mexican Restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Winston said he was not alone in the vehicle alleged
by the as alleged by the driver. Ronald Darby Um
also said he was in the back seat with the
Bucks quarter quarterback during the Uber drive, and nothing inappropriate occurred.
(31:59):
The Uber drive, ever, did reported immediately to Uber, and
the company banned Winston's account, so Uber obviously believed him.
I guess my problem is this. Look, I'm not sitting
here telling you that touching a woman who doesn't want
to be touched is okay. I'm not close and I
understand that. Uh, there is a sense of entitlement that
(32:24):
people believe Jamis Winston carries with him because you think
he might have gotten away with something in college. And
then of course he yelled at something indescribably dumb, considering
um consideringly what he was accused of in college, and
so you know, even if he didn't rob I didn't
rob that bank. You did rob a bank. Every That's
what people think. But you have to look a little
(32:47):
bit deeper into this. You have to look a little
bit deeper in this. The the Uber driver's attorney is
also the attorney and this happened in Scottsdale just so
happens to be the attorney for the woman who accused
him of rape in college. Huh. I don't know if
(33:11):
that attorney has a vendetta that wants to ultimately win.
But that's what the NFL is allowing the uber driver
to do to win. And I again, and yet unless
some sort of proof is offered, and then we're put
in this position. This is similar to the Tom Brady
(33:33):
position to where he's going to have to accept this punishment,
and by accepting the punishment, we're gonna thank that you're guilty.
So look, I'm gonna, I guess, have to suspect if
he accepts the punishment, that he did it. But I
just I don't understand. I don't understand. And and here's
(33:56):
the biggest part about it. Had the incident in college
never occurred, or had it never been brought to light,
would we think that he was guilty. Okay, So I
don't know what happened in college. All I know is
that there were three different investigations, three different investigations, none
(34:18):
of which proved him to be guilty or responsible, even
the Title nine investigation, which usually sides with the accuser.
So look, I'm not sitting here telling you I want
to I want to stand by a guy who can't
keep his hands off women or constantly says the wrong thing. Look,
(34:39):
even to eat the w thing was weird last year,
stealing the crab legs. I can explain, I can explain it,
but again, it sounds feels really dumb considering your Jamis Winston,
and there's a lot of nonsense there. There's a lot
of immaturity there, and there's been uneven play concerned the
reputation and how well ideas and how many passes he's gotten.
(35:03):
But but does that mean that that he did this?
I just we haven't been offered any sort of proof
and if this is what brings down guys, because we
all want to we're like, so we we guess we
want to get the ray rice Is of the world
out of the league or have them learn from whatever
(35:23):
they do have. Men understand you can't lay hand that woman.
But but I just this kind of came out of nowhere.
I do think the NFL has got to provide some
sort of smoking gun, because otherwise it feels like a
lawyer who lost found a way to ultimately convict on
(35:47):
what I think was at best flimsy evidence. Who's gonna
win more games next season? Trey Young and the Hawks
or Luca don Check and the Mavericks. I'll tell you next.

Fox Sports Radio. These Swiss are no longer neutral. They
just scored a decisive goal, take a T one lead
in the World Cup. Uh in the eighty nine minute.
Of course, then they celebrate for like a minute and
a half, which makes it makes it feel, uh feel
(36:31):
like it's over as they're taking on Serbia. Anyway, Great stuff,
Stug Gotlic Show here on Fox Sports Trader. Let's get

options and more Farmers dot Com. What is the game?
Isaac Crown, Doug, Let's look into the crystal ball for
this one. Psychic. So we'll begin with the NBA with
the draft last night. Now last season, the Atlanta Hawks
(37:15):
and the Dallas Mavericks both won a mere twenty four games,
So psychic who will win more games next season? Luca
done is Dallas Mavericks or Trey Young's Atlanta Hawks? Uh? Oh,
I think Luca don Che says Dallas Mavericks is not
really close. Look, I think don Che is gonna be
(37:37):
really good. More than anything, the Mavericks were better than
their record. They tanked, they shut it down. You go
back and look, they tried to lose. Hell, even even
Mark Cubans said that they were tanking, right and then
he got in trouble for the league to to do so.
So um anyway, um, I would I would say that
the Mavericks it's not really close. I do think Trey
(37:59):
Young could win Rookie of the Year because he's gonna
get the ball in a chance to succeed or fail
over and over and over again. Meanwhile, staying in the
top five, the Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns among the
other teams picking in the top five not just last night,
but also in the twenty seventeen NBA Draft, which teams
(38:19):
in the top five of the last night's draft, do
you expect to be back at the top of the
draft next year again. Those five teams, the Sons, Sacramento, Atlanta, Memphis,
and the Dallas Mavericks. The Atlanta Hawks. Uh, look, the
Atlanta Hawks are gonna go super young, and they're gonna
strip it down and they're gonna try and rebuild it.
(38:39):
The Atlanta Hawks will be back in the draft lottery,
up top that draft lottery again next year. From the
Highlight Factory to the low Light Factory in Atlanta. Lakers
GM Rob Polinka told ESPM the following quote. It's not
like teams are saying, oh, I'm not going to do
a deal with the Lakers, But I do think when
you have sixteen banners, there's going to be a natural
(39:02):
envy from your competitors because you're sitting at the top
of the food chain. But that's just life in general.
So psychic. Will the Lakers end up missing out on
all three? Those three being Kawai Leonard, Paul George and
Lebron James. Could they go over three? Could they? Yeah?
(39:23):
That they could? Will they know they won't. They'll get
they'll get one. But if they don't, and the old idea,
nobody wants nobody wants to trade with us because we're
the Lakers. Like, yeah, no, I don't know. People traded
with the the Yankees, you know, they make a great tripe.
People trade with the Celtics. They have they have, uh,
what's seventeen banners. So you know, last night before the
(39:45):
draft began, Commissioner Adam Silver told NBA TV the following,
you want to align incentives. You want every team to
be in a position to compete, but at the same time,
you want to reward great management. And I think right
now the Warriors should be praised and celebrated. Steph Clay
and Draymond obviously drafted. I said the other day, I
understand how some people are bothered by the fact that
(40:07):
Katie went to a team that was already loaded, and
maybe that is something we can address in the collective
bargaining agreement. Warriors didn't do anything wrong. Katie didn't do
anything wrong. These are people who are driven to compete
and they saw an opportunity with a big cap increase
and they took advantage of it. It can't fallcome for that.
So as we wrap up this edition of the Psychic Will,
(40:27):
the NBA switched to a hard cap league when the
next CBA comes up to prevent and other warriors like
Super Team. No, no, because players players can sit there
and go like, man, I'm really bothered by it, and
then they look in the super Max is like two
nine million dollars. They're not doing a hard cap. There
(40:51):
was a lockout over the hard cap and they got
to be essentially a hard cap. Even a hard cap
wouldn't stop this from happening. No, they won't know. They
will not take the game. This is game time. On
The Duck Gotlieb Show, Doug Gotlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio. Um,
(41:11):
we kind of said this early on. People think it's
a foregun conclusion that it's Paul George and Lebron James.
What if there was another member of the Super Team.
Next in the Doug Otlap Show, What Up? Doug Gottlieb Show,
Fox Sports Radio. The European cheeseheads have prevailed as Switzerland
(41:34):
gets a big win. I just got word Mo Bamba
is gonna join us here in fifteen minutes. That's Orlando
Magic's first round draft pick. Mo Bamba is going to
be our guests, so we'll get his thoughts on. Everybody
thought he was going to Dallas, going to Dallas, going
to Dallas. He's going to Orlando and at his height
(41:56):
was his length and any like? He can go to
Disneyland right the rother Coasters doesn't matter though, like that
guy is. You know, everybody gives j billis the business
for using the word long to describe players. That's what
Mo Bamba is. Anyway, we'll have a great discussion with him.
Really interested, interesting, smart kid who's got a world of potential.
But you know, potential can be a dangerous word. We'll
(42:17):
get to that upcoming eight seven seven ninety nine. Foxes
the phone number. We will react, continue to react to
the news about Jamis Winston. We'll get you ready for
your first official weekend of summer man summers here. It's great.
I heard it's hot there in l A. Is it hot?
Rhyme music in l A like? But when when it's hot,
the valley is steamy, steamy hot. I've been my My
(42:40):
reports are very hot. Yes, it is definitely for l
A standards. It is on the very much warm, too
hot side. So what does that mean? No, I don't
think it's that hot, Romus, what do you think? I'm
thinking it's more like hi eighties. Yes, that's why it's like,
it's not outrageously hot, but it's it's on the hotter side. Okay, okay, beautiful.
(43:04):
I mean I was walking around Boston today and look,
Boston can be a tough It's not like Chicago. Chicago,
I think it's the worst weather city in the in
the country. Super super hot in the summer, cold and
windy in the winter. Boston can be crummy weather. They
get the northeaster's beautiful falls, but the summer man when
it hits, it's not as humid as like New York.
(43:25):
It is a spectacular day. Soever you New England, listen
to us serious x M the first couple of hours,
the I Heart Radio app or any of our terrestrial
radio stations. Um, just enjoy the weather, enjoy the weekend.
We'll get you ready for it. Mobam is gonna join
us in five minutes now, I'm told, alright, good um.
There are some things that are seen as a foregone conclusion,
(43:48):
but it's not really foregone that that's the conclusion should
not be foregone. The perfect example of that is that
Chris Chris Paul is going to resign with the Houston
Rockets now look, I I offered up when Lebron season
was over. Why can't he go to the Lakers? Why
can't he bring Chris Paul with him? I don't think
(44:12):
that's ultimately the home for UH. For I don't think
the Clippers would be an option because I just don't
think Lebron goes to the Clippers, even though, hey, look
it is Jerry West, and Jerry West has shown the
ben Cherry West did a great job at the draft
last night, expect I thought outstanding. I love Jerome Robinson
and I like Shay Guiltis Alexander from Kentucky. Has two
(44:34):
good guards to build the future of your backcourt. But
why can't Chris Paul, who should have been a Laker
if not for the trade being overturned by UH by
David Stern back in the day, should have been a
Laker already. Take a list of what Cris Broussard said
(44:55):
on the Herd earlier today in regards to Chris Paul
in a situation in Houston when I'm here, is that
there's tension now between Houston and Chris Paul. Not irreparable tension,
but there's some tension because there was obviously a handshake,
wink wink. However you want to describe it, deal or
agreement between Chris and Houston when he left four years
(45:17):
a hundred seventy five million dollars on the table with
the Clippers. You don't leave that type of money on
the table unless they're like, look, we're gonna take care
of you, don't worry. Blah blah blah. So what's that mean? Now? Look,
the the out, the clever out for the Houston Rockets
front office is, hey, man, we're under new ownership, right,
(45:41):
we're under new ownership, and I'd love to do it,
but my boss says it's not a smart plan. And remember,
as much as you can say, hey, Chris Paul gave
up all this money, think about all the players that
Houston gave up to get Chris Paul. And in defense
of the Rockets, first, handshake agreements or not agreements, as
(46:02):
we've seen before. Second, wasn't Chris Paul hurt at the
most important the one time of year which he was
brought in for, right the series against the Golden State Wars.
And it doesn't mean that it was his fault that
he was hurt, but he was in fact hurt. He was,
so I understand if Chris Paul is bitter that they
(46:23):
haven't just automatically a we're automatically gonna resign you to
the max contract you can get for as many years
as possible late in your career. But I also understand
what the Rockets are doing. And if you're the Lakers
and you hear this, it's music to your ears. What
do we gotta do to get Chris Paul here? Because
(46:45):
Lebron has always wanted to play with Chris Paul, and
Chris Paul is always won't want to win a title,
and he always wanted to be a Laker even when
he was a Clipper. It doesn't mean it's going to happen.
It just means that any time you think it's a
done deal until the ink is dry, last and final
(47:06):
does not mean last and final. Remember that, guys, when
you're negotiating a deal, last and final. Perfect example, did
you see uh Foxes other you know, all Foxes movie
vault and other stuff was was sold to Do you
know the Disney agreement was reached like four or five
months ago, and then what happened? Comcast came in and said, like, well,
you know what we can make an all cash offer,
(47:27):
make a better offer. So you know what happened. Disney
paid even more money. Do you know why? Because last
and final is not last and final, and a handshake
agreement is not the agreement in agreement is an agreement? Yes, Ryan,
is it? We've seen from a lot of these players,
whether it's and I guess not a lot. I shouldn't
(47:47):
say that. It's really just Kevin Durant and Lebron James
where they're taking these short term deals to order in
order to like maintain control over where they want to go.
In Chris Paul's position, I mean we've seen that. I
guess he's expecting to get a fully max that super
max deal where it's five years, two hundreds something million.
(48:09):
Should he be trying to do more of what Kevin
Durant and Lebron are doing, just take a short term
deal so that that way he has more flexibility to
do what he wants. Or is he just worried about
getting that one last big contract since he is in
his thirties already. Yeah, I think he's operating under the
he he wants that one last big pay day. Plus again,
(48:30):
there's another master that he has to play for. And
that's the NBA p A to which he's the president of.
Right where the NBA like, look, we they we fought
for this Supermax deal. We fought for these crazy deals,
and now here you are at the moment in your
career where you can command it, even if your skill
set is going to diminish, even if it's gonna be
we all know it's gonna be a bad deal for
(48:50):
the team, right, Nobody thinks that's gonna be a good deal.
And yet now you're gonna take a short term deal.
Like it's a really hard one because Chris Ball, he's
got Farmers money, there's some other money he's you know,
he can he can make, but he's not Lebron. He
can't make the hundreds of millions of dollars outside of
uh he is playing contract. On the other hand, what
(49:13):
would it do to his reputation? What would it do
to his legacy? If you want a title? And I
think he weighed that when he went to Houston. Um,
I mean I'd be fascinated by it, fascinated by it.
But yeah, man, could he take a short term deal? Absolutely?
I mean, like, look, these guys could if they wanted
(49:34):
to they could play for nothing. You know, I think
the minimum take the mid level exception, but they won't.
Why because there's two different parts to it. First, because
of pride ego, Second or maybe three second frankly, they've
earned it and third Players Association wouldn't be happy. Players. Um.
(49:57):
Here's one of the most fascinating things about Mobamba. Not
his size, his wingspan, his length, his incredible upside. It's
the fact that he's the highest draft pick out of
New York City in more than two decades. Like when
you think of New York City like mecca of basketball.
And of course he went to prep school and private
school in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania before going to the
(50:20):
University of Texas, so you don't think of him as
a New Yorker. But to grow up in New York,
born in New York, grew up in New York, and
then become a lottery pick in the top five pick
and the highest draft pick in nearly two decades really remarkable.
Mobama joined us in the Doug Gottlum Show on Fox
Sports Radio. Congratulations, what's the last twelve hours been like?
It's been awesome. It's the way to explain field because
(50:45):
life has officially come back in the full circle. And
you grew up in New York, and you know, you
watched the draft and you watch everything, and obviously I
moved around and and did things away from the city,
but in the end Draft night in New York, it's
just can you believe it? Yeah, it's crazy. Okay, So
you woke up yesterday, where did you think? Honestly, where
(51:07):
did you think you were going to go play? I
had no clue because there were so many different speculations
about teams straighten up and you know, teams that, like
I mean with the Knicks last second was a bit
like overwhelming, and you know, but I didn't really have
a good, good, good steel for any anything. Okay, but
(51:28):
you had to think like Nick's or Dallas, right like
that was that was the That was the long held
rumor Nick's or Dallas, wasn't it Nick's. I didn't know
that Nick was a rumor until you know, I actually
met with them. Uh No, I didn't say anything anything.
I didn't really give give too much information. Um, but
(51:48):
I knew Orlando was always crazy about me. So I
obviously looked that hares a pretty spot that I can
very much end up. What what is it actually like
to get that call to know that you're you are? Like,
what what is that moment? Like? Um? You know I
didn't find out till till the Pike to the like
cameras that came over had pretty good idea that they're
(52:10):
maybe gonna take me. Um, but it was you know,
I guess that words can't really explain how its Mobamba
joining us in the Doug Gottlip Show Fox Sports Radio
now a member of the Orlando Magic. Of course, everybody
talks about your length, your upside. Do you ever grow
tired of the hey, dude, stick at your arms, let
(52:31):
me see how big your wingspan is? Nope, Nope, not
at all, because it's a blessing. Honestly, you know, to
be able to have these God given given tools and
he's got given stremp it, I can't really can't really complain.
You know. It's interesting. I've seen some of your workouts
which you've posted with Drew Handlon online, and a lot
(52:51):
of it is perimeter work and there's this kind of
there's there's this discussion with NBA people, do we put
him inside, you know, where he can finish and dunk
on people, or do we let him go outside because
you can shoot and you're continuing to improve as a
perimeter player. What do the Orlando Magic said about how
they want to use you? You know, actually you were
just saying that. I was just thinking why not both? Uh? Um?
(53:16):
They they've gotten guys like, they've gotten guys who can
play inside out and that I feel that I can
be very special there because the blue friend is there.
It's it's fascinating because your first who's the first basketball
coach you can remember growing up in New York? Uh
was actually my first basketball coach? Who love Okay, so
(53:39):
Grier loves your coach. And I will bet I could
be wrong, but I will bet most of your coaches
growing up were like, hey, big guy, get inside, right,
that's get inside and we'll throw you the ball. And
now you're going to the NBA wherever. It's like, dude,
you gotta have to get outside and shoot threes. Well,
it's the direction of the league. The direction of the
league is kind of head and then, and you don't
want to be behind on times. This was something that
(54:01):
was that I always had in my back pocket, but
it was just a matter of reaching back there and
getting it. How um, did you just get the hiccups
on me? Yeah? I did a spicy food drinking soda?
What cause? Or just or you you're just nervous about
coming on the radio. Let's be there is coming in
the radio, fair Enoughbama joining us on the Doug Gotlip Show.
(54:22):
You know there's this other thing about Orlando, right like
it's the place where Hall of Fame big guys get started, Shack,
Dwight Howard, now Bobamba. Have you thought about that connection?
I have not, but it's it's Uh, I'm honestly joking up. Obviously,
you know the history of the organization with you know,
(54:44):
Shack and New White. But what people don't really see
you when you're telling you peel a layer back. You know,
those guys really had had a unique personality and that's
something that I'm I'm hoping to bring to the city. Okay,
so are you gonna be You're gonna play like the
next Shazam? Is that? What is that what you're planning on? Uh?
Not quite. I think I can work on the floor
before start doing all of that. Moham. Obama joining us
(55:05):
in the Doug Gottlieb Show on Fox Sports Radio. Uh,
there's been a ton of discussion about about DeAndre Ayten.
He's gone number one overall, and what I said was like, look,
I think he's great in the low post. He can
shoot outside, but you're actually more fluid outside and some
believe you have a greater ceiling in the NBA. How
competitive are you with Atan specifically and with a couple
(55:29):
of the other big guys as we go forward in
the league. Well, me and DeAndre been planning aainst each
other in high school, and you know, he can even
test for it. Most have been some of the best
games to sort of watch from just like how much
we competed, Like those were those are truly battles. You know,
I'm four and all against you know, but they've they've
been battles, and he really brings out the best of me,
(55:51):
and I believe I really bring out the best of him. Hey,
well listen, congratulations on being drafted. Uh, we'll let you
get going to know, it's a crazy day, lie of interviews,
lots of handshaking, but this is respect that's earned. Best
of lucky in Summer League, and thanks for joining us,
Thank you, thanks for having me. All right, that's Mohammed
Bamba joining us, clearly nervous about being on the show
(56:12):
with us, and that's that's that's, that's my big My
big takeaway was he was nervous about being in the show.
Cars are a lot like sports. You gotta have the
right tools you want to go far. Luckily, Auto Zone
is a free loan and tool program with over a
hundred specially tools to get the job done right. So
stopping today getting the zone auto Zone. You wanna know
something crazy? He was born in n right, Like, yeah,
(56:33):
I really know the history of dud your music. What
we're you gonna say, Well, I was watching the draft
with my girlfriend last night, and you know, as you've
pointed out, it's not even as if I'm old. But
it's crazy to think that next year there could be
a couple of kids drafted who were born in the
year two thousand. Wow. Yeah, I remember when the first
(56:56):
kid that was was drafted that was born in nineteen
and nine, nine and beyond, And I was like, man, Wow,
we're not getting older, They're just getting younger. That's really
what's that's what's that's it's actually taking place, That is
actually taking place. Evan Daniels covers college hoops for FS
one and UH seven Sports get get his thoughts on
(57:17):
a couple of things. How will Trey Young translate to
the NBA. We'll ask him about eight and versus Bomba?
And what about this group of underclassmen who declared for
the draft and didn't get drafted? How does college basketball
work about taking the Should they take these guys back in?
That's upcoming next, But first, sleeping, snoring is not sleeping,
(57:39):
and sleeping is not snoring. You gotta go to Zeppa
dot com. Zeppa is kind of a remarkable device. It's
revolutionary snoring mouthpiece that I think is the game changers.
Guaranteed of work or your money back. A matter of fact,
I was watching a news show the other day and
it was the only snoring solution that was proved to
(57:59):
work above all these others. All the rest are like,
it doesn't really work, this one does. It's it's a mouthpiece,
just like any football mouthpiece or soccer mouth piece. You
you boil it, you put it in, It molds to
your teeth, you walk around with you get used to
it for a couple of days. Then you put it
in and all of a sudden, the snoring goes away.
You'll go from sleep in the couch of sleeping back

Zeppa is a game changing, revolutionary snoring mouthpiece that will
fix your snoring problems. Zepa dot com happy z spelled backwards. Well,
we're gonna do it right here. Let's go back previously
on the Dunk Godly Show Back into town, our tourist
cournaghs joining us. He's the gentle manager of the Denver Nuggets.
(59:02):
They selected Michael Porter Jr. Number four teen in the
first round of the NBA Draft. There's already a plan
where he'll miss some time. This from other teams like, well,
if you draft him, he may miss some time. Is
that what you're understanding is that your guys plan with
the Nuggets? Oh? Absolutely, I mean, we we know how
good of a player he is. We know how talented
(59:23):
he is. We we know that you know, under sixteens,
on the Under seven teams, Sunday eight teams, he was
best player in USA Basketball. He was you know, Mcdonaldsall
American and so forth and so on. So we know
the talent is there is just now we have to
be patient and they think our roster can sustain that,
and you know, take our time and be very conservative.
(59:46):
Doug Olive Show, Fox Sports Radio. Let's give me. It's
just see against One of the reasons I tweeted out
before the draft that expect Michael Porter Jr. To sit
Uh there's some parts about his kind of persona uh
uh that that can rub people the wrong way. And
the medicals. I think we're very bothersome to some like, look,
you're gonna draft a guy and he's already missed a
(01:00:08):
year and he may miss a good portion of this year.
No matter how good he's gonna be, at some point,
you have to produce. So it's gonna be fascinating to
see how he progresses if he's healthy. And I do
think that you get humbled a little bit by missing time,
even if it's your body that lets you down. Obviously,
he's a kid with an immense amount of town. Immense
amount of town. Let's get to Isaac, Low and Kron
find out what else is going on in the world
(01:00:28):
of sports. Du dramatic day at the World Cup, So
let's get right to it. Because in Russia today stoppage
time was scoring time. Switz's story Nicole on Fox of
(01:00:57):
Switzerland wanted over Serbia to walk on. Earlier today, Brazil
and Costa Rica were scoreless in stoppage time. Marcelo Cross
comes in from Marcelo dotted down at Proctors stoppage time
(01:01:18):
to call in FS one. Neymar would score six minutes later,
still in stoppage time as Brazil wanted to nothing. Also
today Nigeria defeated Iceland, also by a to nothing score. Finally,
a pair of NFL notes to close with, we begin
with popular referee Jean Sterrator. Today he announced he's retiring
(01:01:39):
after fifteen seasons as an NFL official. The final game
of his career, talked about going out on top and
wound up being when he was the referee for Super
Bowl fifty two this past February between the Patriots and
the Eagles, and finally, speaking of the Patriots. This is
beginning to trend unfortunately virally as we speak. This is
(01:02:02):
from last night's You Two concert at t D Garden,
and this was video posted by Patriots quarterback Tom Brady
of him attempting to sing along, attempting being the key
word brace yourselves America. Well there you have it, Doug,
(01:02:35):
tom Brady don't quit his day job. Back to you.
It means bad, But it's like, can you sing? Boy?
That's a challenge, all right? You want me to try
it right here? I'm just I'm I'm asking the question.
I'm asking honestly, Like I think my answer is I
(01:02:56):
can't sing, but I can sing better than Tom Brady. Okay, Um,
I romist. I take that as a challenge, don't you.
That's what I was going for. Do we do we
have a Do we have in the name of love?
Do we have that? All right? That's good because I
will only say this, I can't sing. I have no idea.
(01:03:18):
If I sing better than Tom Brady, my guess is
that's exactly how I sing. Um. I have a I
have one daughter that can sing, has performed, and yet
now she's going through her preteen years and she doesn't
want to have another one who's never wanted to perform,
and she she can also they can both really sing.
She's more, she heart Grace more harmonizes Harper's more lead singer.
They mean she can. They can both sing. My son
(01:03:40):
and I cannot carry a tune at all, I mean
at all, and yet um and yet we still like
to do it. So again, like, does it sound terrible?
Of course it sounds terrible. Tom Brady sounded utterly awful.
But I'm not gonna sit here and crush because honestly,
(01:04:01):
I think I would sound equally bad. We're good. This
is actually not a joke. But you know who I'll
bet we'll never know it for sure can sing better
than Brady. Bill Belichick. The story is that he once
commandeered a microphone at like a Patriots event and party
and did what's the song love potion number five or
love Postion number nine? Number nine? Yes, but mambo number
(01:04:23):
mambo number five, love potion number nine? There you yes,
love potion number nine, And he swore the entire audience
he made them like not record on their phones, but
apparently he brought the house down and people were legitimately impressed.
So he could sing better than Brady too, Ramos, we close.
We're good. I just wanted to know it's gonna be
about the same place that Brady sang right now, so
(01:04:44):
that that kind of the chord. Now listen, hold on,
um let's we'll do Isaac first, and then we'll do
Brady next and music. You and Ramos will be the
judge because I'll probably be seen as too harsh alright,
go ahead. This is Isaac lowenkron Over YouTube playing on
the Doug Gottlip Show. Oh, in the name of love.
(01:05:11):
One more in the name of love, in the name
of love, One more in the name of love. Yeah, okay,
let's get let's let's get some Tom Brady. I don't
(01:05:39):
know what I mean. I don't need to hear anymore.
I don't need to hear anymore. I think you're right.
You can't sing. Sorry, Chasel iSIG low and Crown. Everybody
tip your weight staff. He'll be here all week. Car
shopping can be confusing with terms like dealer price, list price,
(01:06:00):
sin voice price. True car shows you what other people
paid for the car that you want, so you can
recognize a good price when you're ready to buy a
new or used car. Visit true car you enjoy more
confident car buying experience. Let's welcome to Evan Daniels from
uh Fox Sports one and seven Sports. He also has
his own podcast. He does a great job covering college
(01:06:20):
hoops and recruiting. Um, and what was the most surprising
thing that happened you happened from your perspective last night
in the draft? Before we get to that, I just
want to make sure you know that I can't sing
a lick, So like you needed to know that. No, no,
I said I can't sing a lick either. It was
more that before you joined us, Isaac was like, I
can't sing a lick, but I can sing better than
(01:06:41):
Tom Brady, And so I said proven awesome, awesome. Yeah.
Last night's draft, UM, I guess the Michael Porter thing
was probably the most interesting thing to me. I mean,
we're talking about a kid that if you probably place
his college season and you don't hear about the issue,
he's probably looking at going top three to five. Obviously,
(01:07:04):
it was pretty stacked draft at the top, so anywhere
in that range him flipping to fourteen. Um, you're looking
at the Nuggets either getting a steel or if the
back issue continues, Um. You know, obviously I don't think
he pan out, but he could very well if if
he gets back to under present and he's fine, he's
(01:07:24):
a okay, you're looking at a massive steel at that pick.
What about some of the personality quirks and and and
issues that I brought up, Jeff Goodman, I know who
we both though, has has brought up that NBA people
have talked about. Um, some of the quotes are a
little bit you know, Look, I know everybody says I'm
the best player in the draft, but you know, liking
(01:07:46):
himself to Hall of famers and the best players in
the game already, Um, there's something of there's some sort
of a disconnect between his personality and how he blends
with others. Well, I think there's definitely some um confidence,
um bleeding into cockiness. I don't necessarily mind that. Um.
(01:08:08):
You know, I think two is is sometimes And he
didn't play. He didn't get to play his freshman year
of college, so I think he's probably still thinking along
as of who he was coming out of high school.
And the truth is, Doug, when he was coming out
of high school, he was really peaking. He was playing
the best basketball he'd ever played. A lot of people
had him number one. I did not. Um, there's certainly
(01:08:28):
some quirkiness there, and he's vegan. Um. He certainly some
of his comments came across pretty arrogant. But at the
same time, like when he was healthy, he had every
right to be arrogant. He was a really good player.
Evan Daniels joining us in the Doug Glip Show on
Fox Sports Radio. Um It, it did feel like there
were a couple of wins for college basketball. I know,
(01:08:50):
thirteen of the top eighteen picks for one and duns,
but Aaron Holiday coming back for another year and going
from a second round pick to a first round pick.
There were Moe Wagner's development becoming a first round pick,
the Villanova guys developing into four first round picks. How
do you take it to, Uh, what do you think
the narrative will be in the college in a U
(01:09:12):
landscape over how long you stay in college based upon
this NBA draft? Well, it's interesting and I certainly think
that from the From that perspective, the narrative is, you know,
obviously Villanova did a great job developing their guys. Mckail Bridges,
Donte DiVincenzo. Both guys go in the top twenty and
they spent three years in college. Bridges really for because
(01:09:34):
he had to rent for a year. Jalen Brunson goes
in the top thirty five. He was a three year guy.
So from that standpoint, I agree with you on holiday Man.
I think he's going to be a very good NBA
player and in the league for a long time. But
the other point to bring up, um, there was also
a lot of of names that a year and a
half two years ago who would have thought was getting
(01:09:55):
drafted in the first or second round, and that didn't happen.
And I'm referring to a guy like Trayvon Duval, and
there's a host of others. You know, Mitchell Robinson didn't
go until late seconds, and obviously he's a different case. Um,
But I thought it was an interesting draft from that standpoint,
I got a lot of phone calls and text last night.
It's like, it's pretty unbelievable that trade on New Goal
(01:10:15):
is the number one player in the country or the
number one point guard in the country two years ago
and now he's not even getting drafted. Obviously, more than
just him, Traymon blew it didn't get drafted. Gary, You know,
Gary Clark one lates like it's just it was an
interesting draft. Why do you think that I'm that guy?
Had my own thoughts on Devol, But why do you
think he didn't eating a drafted. Well, he can't shoot,
(01:10:38):
and that's kind of always been his issue. But at
the same time, like, I don't think he really ever
showed consistency at Duke, and it really took him a
while to to really get that ball rolling there, and
and the shooting is obviously a concern. And also some
really good point guards in this draft. I think Shay
Alexander and Colin Sexton and Trey most of the those
(01:10:58):
those three guys are very a project there on Holiday
is a good prayer um, but Tray Vaughan just he
doesn't shoot the ball well and there's some holes there.
I think there's some issues with this feeling. I Q two,
if you had to bet, who is going to be
the better point guard, Colin Sexton or Trey Young, Colin Sexton,
I actually in my big board I went Colin Sexton,
(01:11:21):
Shay Alexander, Trey Young, and I think shod a Gander
actually has more upside than both of those guys. If
everything hits for him, he would end up being the
best guy of those three in this draft. But I
love Colin Sexton. I love his attitude. I love the
way he approaches the game. He's a relentless driver. Uh.
He competes on both ends of the floor. They actually
went head to head, as you know, during the collegiate season.
(01:11:43):
I thought Colin got the best of them. UM is
Trey is a more dynamic UM player from a UM
from a showy standpoint, Is he a better shooter scorer? Yes,
right now he is. But I just love them like
common sexon to do that, I want on my team,
Like I want to go to war with that guy.
(01:12:04):
I want to go to war with the guy that
is that competitive. He's one of the top three competitors.
I think I've covered UM since I've been around high
school hoops for the last twelve years, and I put
him right up there with Michael Kid, Joe Chris, and
Josh Jackson. From that standpoint, he is an elite competitor.
He's an elite trash talker. I'm just a big fan
(01:12:25):
of that kid. I will point out those other two
have not hit in the NBA mostly because they're shooting
though as well, and that's that is a question. I
also would point out, I agree with you um that,
and I think people that play with him would agree
with you us as opposed to people that play with
Young there's some sort of disconnect where guys don't love
with the exception to my coemporter playing with Young. I
just that that is the one thing that gives me
(01:12:47):
in a in a league to which shooting and shotmaking
is important. That's one of the big parts he needs
to improve in his game, of course. And you know,
here's the thing about Trey, and I do think in
time he's going to be a better shooter than his
numbers show it. If you go back to E Y
b L from two years ago and then you you
track all of his shots at Oklahoma, he was a
(01:13:07):
thirty five and thirty six percent three point shooter in
those two leagues. Now, I think he's gonna have to
improve his shot selection, but there's a lot of potential
as him as a shooter. The concerns from me with
Trey are physical. It's he's not strong enough, which he'll
get stronger, but athletically is he gonna be able to
defend guards in this league. We're talking about um Russell
(01:13:27):
Westbrook and Victor Oladipo, and we're talking about big, strong,
athletic guards. Is he gonna be able to keep those
guys in front? John Wall, Kyrie Irving. That's the question
for me. Now. I think I had a conversation have
and I had a conversation with an NBA head coach
earlier today and he said that he said two things.
He said One he said, there are guys. You know
Ben Simmonson garden in college, he guards in the pros.
(01:13:51):
You know Jason Tatum didn't guard in college. You have
a good reputation of bringing the defense end. He guarded
in the pros. So some of it is you get
around and you don't want to get embarrassed, right, But
you've mentioned the physical limitations that Trey has and I
agree with you, and he's the other party said, he's like,
look at the point guard position. It's every night because
one the point guards are the freakiest to the athletes,
(01:14:11):
and then too a lot of times you get switched
and now you're on a bigger guy who you may
be as athletic has but he's just so much bigger
than you, it doesn't even matter. Um So, I'm with you.
I think, Look, I think Trey is gonna put up
a lot of numbers next year with Atlanta. I just
don't think they win. And I think the question becomes,
can he ever be like Steph Is put up numbers
(01:14:34):
and win games and that to which I don't know
the answer to. And I think the answer is probably
not because of those limitations. And here's the thing. I
actually I was ridiculously impressed with trades development over the
last year and a half or so. He's turned out
way better, better than I was. Like you were telling
me eighteen months ago he was going to be the
(01:14:54):
fifth pick in the NBA draft. I told I was
told your stupid like, I did not see that. Um So,
I I do think that I should note that there's
been notable improvement. But that defensive thing is a concern.
I agree with you. He's gonna put up numbers, he's
gonna make shots, he's gonna have some flair, he's gonna
be crafty and creative. But the defensive thing is a
concern to me. Evan Daniels joining us on the Doug
(01:15:16):
Gotlib show on Fox Sports Radio. What do we do
with this list of of underclassmen who declared UM and
and this growing sense of hey, maybe college basketball I
should take him back. I've pointed out before, like, all right,
so what do you do with the scholarships that have
been handed out? How do you get these guys back
up and running in school? What would you do if
(01:15:37):
you were in charge, Evan, I'd rather him come back
and get guys like u Duval and uh dang Adele
and a couple other guys that have college eligibility, if
you know, if they didn't initially sign with an agent,
I'd rather run back in college. Now. I think that
there's plenty of them that don't don't care to go
back to college. I think that's growing more evident and
(01:15:59):
more clear as the year of us to go by.
I think some of these guys are just ready to
get out of college and start their professional career, even
if that means going overseas or playing in the G League. UM,
but I'm all for more. I'm all for good players
being in college if they want to be there. Now,
I think there's probably some kids waking up today and thinking, man,
did I did I did I make that right decision
(01:16:21):
UM by staying in the draft. I think there's playing
that probably to say they did not Evan Daniels joining us,
having great stuff man Um, enjoy your work, Enjoy your
off season. Actually there is no offseason because July's recruiting period.
Just just around the court. Last thing, there is a
story out that they want to they want to change
the recruiting period instead of having tournaments. Oh sorry we
lost Evan. Did we hang up on him or what
(01:16:42):
do you think I was wrapping it up? I think
I think you thought because we lost him, right if
you heard that kind of pop sound, I was him. Yeah,
that's my bad. I'll share with you that story about
what what they're they're gonna try and propose, but it's
really really hard to implement for the summer recruiting period.

(01:18:13):
Here was Skip bayliss on the steel of the draft.
Dante d Vincenzo will be the steel of the draft,
and a lot of people are saying he'll be a
second round pick. And the Bucks had the guts in
the vision to say at seventeen, we are taking him.
And now they have two freakish athletes. They obviously have
the Greek free and they got a freakish leaper in Dante.
(01:18:36):
They got a big game, clutch shooter and clutch defender
who will make plays defensively as well as offensively. He's
got an NBA body at six five. He can shoot
threes at clip. And that's that's a steel. That was
the steel of the first round. Um, okay there, look,
there's a lot to take there. I like Dante de
Vincenzo a lot. I mean a lot, a lot um
(01:18:59):
and I do think that he is a He's a
freak athletically in terms of his jumping. He's got overall
good speed and quickness. Um yeah, I guess he's six five.
He's six three and six three or so sixth three
and a half without shoes. He's not a ball handler,
and the great thing is in that system with Janison
to the Kompo, he won't have to be a ball handler.
(01:19:22):
He is a good defender. He is a tough kid,
but like AND's not like he's gonna be an all star.
So as long as you use him correctly, he's good. Um.
I like Grace Allen a little bit better. He's a
better all around player. He's also an explosive leaper, but
he can actually pass drubble Um. Maybe not as tough
a defender as good a rebounder as DiVincenzo is, but
(01:19:44):
you also don't rebound all that much when you're a
small guard in the NBA. I like Dante de Vincenzo.
Do I think he's the steal of the draft? I don't,
so oftentimes we look for steals of the draft. Who
is this year's you know, pick pick us stud from
in the middle of the draft, and they could be
hard to find. I like guys who fit. I do
think that Porter Jr. At fourteen has a chance to
(01:20:07):
exceed any normal expectations for fourteen. I like Collin Sexton
at eight. I think Trey Young does well. I like
Kevin Horder, who also went to Atlanta. I don't know
if you guys saw this story, but Atlanta was gonna
trade up two spots to get a hoarder. But then
they saw uh Adrian Woznowski tipping picks and they realized
that nobody was gonna take Horder, so they stuck at
(01:20:28):
nineteen anyway, fascinating fastening stuff. Anyways, insummation information. I don't
agree that he's some game changing player. I do think
he'll have a good NBA career, and he he was
drafted a little bit over where he should have been
drafted because he's a Nova guy and people love that
Villanova culture. Say uh who, boy, it was a great
(01:20:55):
night last night watched that NBA draft. I still enjoy it.
I understand so many of you weren't into it. Cars
a lot like sports, you gotta have the right tools
you want to go far. Luckily, Auto Zone is a
free loaned tool program with over a hundred specialty tools
to get the job done right. So stop in today,
deposits acquired, get in the zone. Auto Zone. Well, there's
(01:21:16):
a story about the potential for that. There's been a
recommendation from the Committee on College Basketball that um they
change the summer recruiting window, so instead of these tournaments
which are sponsored by shoe companies, the n c A
and the NBA band together and have regional camps coached
(01:21:39):
by NBA coaches and G League coaches and allow coaches
of college coaches to come in and evalue evaluate players. Look,
I think it's a it's a clever idea. It's interesting,
Like if there were a way to go back and
have real camps and not camps and where they just
play the old five star model, then sure. I don't
like the idea of regional camps because I like kids
(01:22:02):
get a chance to play against other kids nationally. And
as much as the system does have flaws, I don't
think it is completely broken. I don't. Um. Could there
be a nationally national unifying tournament at the end of
the summer where we have a better evaluation process. Maybe,
(01:22:23):
but the idea that you're gonna strip it down. NBA
coaches don't want to coach high school kids and be assistants. Don't.
G League coaches don't. They have summer league and then
they have time off. That's one of the reasons they
like coaching in the NBA. So if it's a college
in high school program, then guess what problem in colleges
and high schools have to fix it? Have to fix it.
(01:22:46):
That's it. That's really good. Um. Nick Bob joins the
show up coming next does he think DeAndre Aton will
be a star in the NBA? He's a center who
can shoot. It's still a center. What does he think
has the best step side? What was the most stunning
thing in the NBA draft? Find out next in the
dug out the show Fox Sports Radio, What Up? But

she duck Got leave Show? Fox Sports Radio? Do Do

So we got a weekend here where, um, I don't know.
We just wait, right, it's waiting weekend. And now what
(01:23:29):
we're doing, We're just gonna We're gonna wait on Lebron
to make up his mind. Weight on the Spurs to
see if they can resign Kawhi Leonard to an extension
or they trade him away, wait to see what happens
with Chris Paul Nick Bob is gonna join me in
a second. Of course, he has his own radio show
in Omaha. He's a Fox Sports college basketball analyst as well. But, um,
(01:23:52):
look at the the four worst words you can hear
at a concert is from our new album, right, we
want to play a couple of songs from our new album. Honey,
I'm gonna run to the restroom real quick. You wanna
be anybody wanna be here? Anybody wanna beer? That's what
(01:24:13):
the NBA Draft has become because most of America doesn't
know these players. You know, Michael Porter played three games
Mo Bamba, they played in Texas. One n c A
tournament game, Try Young, one n c A tournament game.
And he's the one we probably knew the most because
so many TV cameras were. We're focused on him because
(01:24:35):
we don't know these guys, even if they're going to
be good. It's like a song, you know, it's a
new Southern's from our new album. I'm sure it's going
to be a hit. It's not a hit yet. It's
not a hit yet. And then you add in there
were no trades last night, and it's a lot like
if you didn't bring somebody up on stage, right, you
(01:25:00):
bring something Grace and Allen is like one of the other, like, oh,
Grace down, I know him. He did the Tripper Kid.
I remember this song. I remember this song, Honey, I
know this song. Come on sing along with me. We
basically have two or three guys we can sing along with.
The rest are so new, nobody knows them, and it's
killed the NBA draft. Where is the NFL draft? You
(01:25:22):
know who these guys are because they've been around for
several years. I think Baker Mayfield five years in college,
you know he is you at least enough to draw
an opinion on him. All right, let's welcome to Nick
Bob from Fox Sports one a college basketball analysts like myself,
and uh, Nick, you you don't like it when summer
(01:25:46):
concerts somebody comes to Omaha and they start playing songs
on a new album? Do you no hits? I mean, no, no,
Stanie Lane play the hits. I'm totally with you. I
like that analogy. I might steal that one. I like
that a lot. What was the biggest surprise last night
for you? I mean I think you have to probably
say I'm gonna talk out of both sides run up,
(01:26:07):
but I think you're probably gonna have to say Michael
Porter Jr. Just because of, Like, on one hand, the
talent that you know is there. I mean, this is
a dude that is a you know, top five at
worst top ten talent. For him to fall the way
he did that kind of felt like that was the
defining story of the of the first round. But you
also get it. I mean, bad backs and big, big
guys are a concerning combination, so you can understand why
(01:26:30):
there was some some concern and why he fell. But
I mean, let's be honest, Doug, You've seen this guy
play like if he if he stays healthy, this guy
is really really good. I mean he could be. He's
an all star level type of player with his size
and skill and ability to shoot. And I think it
just got to the point where Denver Price thought, you know,
there's that whole best available versus you know, fit and
(01:26:52):
all those things. It's like, you're sitting there at fourteen.
You got a guy in Michael Porter Jr. Sitting there.
You're like, we gotta do this, we gotta make this
half been so to me just because you're talking about
a guy. I mean, if if he were eligible last year,
he might have been selected in the top ten last
year and he falls to fourteen to to Denver. To me,
(01:27:12):
that was kind of the defining, stunning story of the
first round. Who's gonna be the best player this year
this year in the NBA? Oh, Marvin Bagley, Right, I mean,
Marvin Bagley is the guy if if you if you're
looking for the most ready may dude to step in
the league and get buckets and and be able to
rebound and and bring at night in and night out.
(01:27:32):
It's Marvin Bagley. I mean, I do have my concerns.
I think you can develop bad habits. You know this
Doug when you're just sitting in his zone all year.
You know that's sometimes that's just the lazy way out
of of of defending. But ultimately you have Wendell Carter
and Marvin Bagley, Like, we gotta play these guys at
the same time. We'll send a two three zone whatever. Uh.
But he's the guy that I think he'll have to
(01:27:54):
catch up on some things with rotations defensively and been
able to slide his feet and all those sorts of
things because he's just guarden an area, uh in that zone.
But he's awesome. I mean he he is. He's a
really good player. I think he's gonna be able to
step in and and score and be productive right away.
He'd be my first right now gun in my hand.
If I'm picking a rookie of the year, that's what
I'm over. Yeah, I would say it's him or Trey
(01:28:15):
Young's two things that the one thing in Trey has
going for him back there has a little bit is
you're playing a bad team, You're gonna play more, and
you're gonna get the ball. More you gotta get in
order to score, you gotta get the ball. You gotta
get minutes. And I think that Atlanta they're gonna turn
the ball over to Trey Young. I don't think Trey
Young is gonna be the best player, but I do
think he could be Rookie of the Year because he
he'll have some nights where he puts up crazy numbers
(01:28:36):
hitting all those shots. Yeah, I mean anymore. Oftentimes basketball
is kind of predator predicated on you know, high on
ball screen. What are you doing with it? Right? And
how messy is the defense gonna get when we set
that high on ball screen or random drag ball screens
in transition, that's what Step is so good at. I
mean you his point of pickups got to be at
(01:28:57):
about you know, thirty feet. That's a long ways extended
from the basket. You set a ball screen, you might
force a switch, you might create a hedge and a double.
Now you're playing four on three if he can throw
out of it. So he's gonna be a guy that's
gonna be able to make things happen just because of
the predicament he puts you in in those high on
ball screens, and I'm totally with you. I mean, he
might put up a lot of empty stats this year.
(01:29:19):
I mean, he might have some games or he goes
for for for forty just because he's that kind of
a shooter. But but time will tell on how much
he can kind of develop his body, how he can
learn to uh to hang in there defensively for lack
of a better term. But listen, Trey Young, It's it's
one of those things that we we kind of like
to slide a guy into a microscope and kill him
(01:29:39):
a little bit. Uh. You know, he was a guy
that was the most electric guy in college basketball this year,
and he can score, so it'll be it'll be fun
to watch him put up some big nights, but ultimately,
you know, how can he hang in there on defense?
Going to kind of define his career? I tend to
agree with you. Stug got the show Fox Sports Trader,
that's voice of Nick Bob. Of course he has his
own radio show and Omaha, many of you know that
(01:30:00):
he Yels was on Fox Sports one um and you
can follow him on Twitter part of the Twitter Fox
Sports college Basketball Twitter feed. Okay, so you mentioned then
Marvin Bagley will be the best player right away, DeAndre
went number one overall. I said, look, I know that
Phoenix needs a center. I guess you know Jonathan Bender
was I mean, what say, Dragon Bender was actually pretty
(01:30:24):
good this year. I just thought Bagley was the best prospect.
I would have taken him number one overall, especially and
this there's a little bit positional bias to which centers
don't play big portions of the of of NBA games.
What's your take on who the best actual prospect would
have been if you were selecting for the Phoenix Suns. Yeah,
you know, and I'm sure you do this sometimes. So
(01:30:46):
I had to do a top five big man in
the draft, kind of little digital piece, and I put
eight in number one. And if I could have it back,
I probably would have put Bagley number one. But it's
easy to get excited about the measurables and see what
Aton looks like. I think guy's a freak. I mean,
I'm sure you saw him a bunch of doing some
different things in the fact tral and being in that
part of the country, the guy is freaky. But ultimately,
(01:31:09):
and to me, it was one of the more interesting
things about the draft was, first of all, I didn't
think it was a great draft. I don't think there
are any just for sure superstars. I think there's a
bunch of good players, not great players. But it was
loaded at the top with big guys, and that just
kind of flies in the face of where basketball is headed.
I mean, you watch the playoffs, you know when when
it got to be you know, crunch time and in
(01:31:29):
big moments in big games outside of Horford a little
bit capella a little bit. I mean, it was just
a lot of guards are glorified guards on the floor.
So it's it's one of the kind of sixty four
thousand dollar questions. And how you're assessing eighton Is he
a guy that just is coming around fifteen years twenty
years too late where he does at least at this
(01:31:51):
point he is your traditional five man, back to the
basket kind of guy. Now he has shown I think
he shoots like mid seventies from the free throw line,
and he can face up and shoot a little bit.
But man, until he can prove that that he can
step out and stretch the defense a little bit at
least make you think about having to run him off
the three point line. Ever, so you know a little bit.
(01:32:12):
I think ultimately Badley was probably the safest and and
and the choice that makes the most sense at the
number one spot. Who knows how much you know, there's
a magnetic poll with him being just down the road
in Tucson, your Phoenix, it makes sense. But I think
I think it was fascinating to see how these teams
are going to assess some of those big guys at
(01:32:32):
the top of the draft. Nick Bob joining us Fox
Sports college basketball analyst. Um, Uh, you know, there's there's
a group of guys that didn't get drafted, the Trayvon
Treyvon du Vals of the world, the Trayvon Blewetts of
the world. A senior puts up huge numbers. Um, as
far as the underclassman is concerned, they were warned by
(01:32:53):
a lot of people about where they may slide in
the draft. Is there a way to get them back
into college bas well? Like, you know, a lot of
these guys take money from an agent, they go work out,
they they they take time away from school. Like how
do you do it? Um for a kid who's not
draft in terms of trying to welcome him back, it's
really complicated. I mean, it's it's one of those things
(01:33:15):
that if you're trying to do right by the kid,
it makes sense that you should be able to do
something like how major League Baseball does it, where you
kind of have a choice and whatever the case may be.
But it's hard. I mean, it's the the these these
guys get bad information or sometimes the easiest thing to
do is to tell people what they want to hear.
They all want to hear that they're gonna get drafted,
(01:33:36):
So it's it's you're you're gonna be a little bit
more eager to hear those kinds of things. But it's hard.
I think. I think it's just challenging right now. I
like the rule of that these guys can enter their
name into the draft Advisory Committee and come back. But
I can tell you, at least from being around Creighton's program,
I think it was challenging throughout the spring. For what
Greg Permot was trying to do with the whole Kyrie
(01:33:56):
term is situation where there's a lot of these grand
transfers that are price and themselves. Okay, well, what's is
Kyrie Thomas coming back? Is he's gonna stay because you know,
if I'm a grad transfer. I'm trying to I'm trying
to go into a place where I'm gonna get a
ton of minutes, I'm gonna get a ton of shots,
and if Kyrie is there, I don't know if that's
exactly what I'm trying to do. And so I just
(01:34:16):
think even those sorts of things get challenging for the
college aspect of things. But ultimately, I do feel like
we can all come together, sit down, figure out something
that satisfies all parties that you feel like there's a
handful of people that you either got drafted late second
round or didn't get drafted at all, it feels like
they should be able to have the option to return
(01:34:38):
to college if we're ultimately trying to do what's best
for these for these kids. Villanova had four players drafted
in the in the first round. UM Miles Bridges I like,
but I do think he's a three in d rotation guy,
maybe a fifth starter at best. Jalen Brunson I love
in college. I don't think he's a great NBA point
(01:34:59):
guard because as he's more of a mid range and
a post up guy and black street athleticism. Um I
like Dante de Vincenzo. But seven teams seems a bit
high for a kid who came out the bench. He's
a great athlete, great athlete, but probably an off the
bench guy most of his career. Is not a great
ball handler. Uh. He made some a ton of big
shots this year, especially in the final four and Amari Spellman,
(01:35:19):
who he got some knee issues. He lost a lot
of weight. He still gotta change his body, but a
stretch five he went in the first round. I guess
the question is like, look, I know you and I've
been around Villanova enough to know they have great culture. Uh,
the kids buy in in terms of what they eat,
how they play like it's all great. But like the NBA,
some of it's about intangibles. A lot of it's about tangibles.
(01:35:41):
Do you think ultimately they were overdrafted and and that
will that will come back to bite teams that drafted
them as high as they did. This is gonna sound
like I'm kissing you're You're behind here, Doug, But I
totally agree with you. I mean totally agree with you.
And it's hard because I absolutely love what Jay Wright does.
I love that they were my favorite to watch all year.
(01:36:01):
I mean, they were fantastic, but they are They've been
inflated by by what they've done collectively, and they're they're
really a poster child for uh, you know, every every
individual out there of hey, you want to get drafted,
go win. You know, it's the rising tide lifts all
ships kind of a thing. Team success breeds individual success.
(01:36:22):
I've watched Bridges and Devincenzo a ton good players, very
very good players. So I think they're the you know,
the tenth pick in the seven team pick. No way.
I mean, I think Devincenzo found a way to kind
of ride the wave of the thirty one point performance
in the National title game. I think there's a big
difference between being a team's focal point of a defensive
(01:36:45):
scantner report and being just a guy that comes off
the bench as a rotational player even in college. Uh.
But don't get me wrong, I feel like I'm they're
they're good players. Uh, They're they're overvalued. I'm not so
sure that Spellman wasn't the long term prospect just because
he's still young, he's developing. Uh, he does have the
knee issues, but I just think he fits in what
(01:37:06):
you want in a big day um and and then
Brunson is what he is. You know, he's a you know,
Fred van Fleet kind of a guy off the guard,
be solid for you. He's not ever going to really
be a totally difference maker guy for your franchise. But
totally agree with you. Totally agree with you. I think
some of those Nova guys got inflated just because they
(01:37:28):
were a part of such a great culture and they
won so many games that ultimately you win enough, you
play enough games, you get hot in the right moment,
and you're the next Donte DiVincenzo, who people kind of
get way too excited about about being a guy that
goes in the top twenty. He's Nick bab He's the

Report's gonna join us up coming next? Does anything from
last night's draft have any impact on free agency? And
speaking your free agency? All? Right, where's he going? And
what about this Chris Paul thing? Is that a done
deal in Houston? Or is it kind of a done
deal in Houston that I'm coming next? But first, you know,
if you're snoring, you're not really sleeping. And as I
(01:38:37):
think anyone who knows somebody in their world who snores,
no one sleeps around you. I'm that guy. I'm snoring guy.
And we had this experience here on the road. My
kids are going to summer camp. We went and all
spent the night one room when these big, gigantic rooms
with like four beds in it, and uh, you know
(01:38:58):
the we basically did the test first night, no zeppa.
Second night. There was a Zeppa second night. Everybody slept perfectly.
That's it, um And it's a revolutionary story mouthpiece. That's
an absolute game changer. If you sleeping in side for bedrooms,
you need to get a Zeppa. Get a zeppa. Z

do it right here. Let's go back previously on the

your upside. Do you ever grow tired of the hey, dude,
stick at your arms, let me see how big your
wingspan is? No, not at all, because it's a blessing. Honestly,
you know how to be able to just have these

God given given tools and you gotta give it a

we will tweet it out, we will facebook it out,
we will everything it out. At the end of the show,
let's get to Rick Buker Bleacher Report, who does an
(01:40:48):
outstanding job covering the ins and the outs of the league. Um,
what were your thoughts about Porter dropping to Denver where
it kind of fell in Denver's lap and look, you know,
it's kind of like found money, Like oh, I got
a twenty dollars in these pockets, in his pockets even
if his back ends up being bad or his attitude
or toughness doesn't improve it, Like, look, you had to
(01:41:09):
take that shot. What's your thoughts on Denver getting Michael
Porter Jr. Yeah, Look, I think it's a perfect spot
for him because of all the criticisms and you heard them.
It wasn't just the back, it was you know, the
here's here's the reality he was projected. Because everybody keeps
referencing this, you know, it was projected his potential number
one pick of the two thousand and eighteen draft. Well, yeah,
(01:41:33):
it was with the anticipation that you were going to
get a year of seeing him at Missouri and seeing
how he played for someone other than his dad in
a a and whether he was going to pass the
ball and defend and do all the other things other
than score. Didn't just score playing for someone other than
his dad. We didn't get an opportunity to see that,
(01:41:55):
And so all you had to reference was that, yeah, man,
he can score in a variety of ways. Uh, the
size and length, et cetera are all there, But does
you know is he a good teammate? Does he defend?
And I just I talked about this on my NBA show,
my NBA show this afternoon, and he had a nef Uh.
(01:42:16):
He had an uncle who called in the show and said,
that's my nephew, and I think he's gonna be great.
And I said, well, what do you think of the
criticism you know that he doesn't defend, he doesn't pass
the ball. He's like, oh, yeah, that's true. Uh, you know,
he's a great score, but he doesn't do those things.
But he's going to. You know, the anticipation is he
will do those things in Denver because he's gonna have
(01:42:37):
to to get minutes played. And that, to me is
why it's a great situation not only for Denver, but
it is for Michael Porter Jr. Because he goes to
the Knicks, he goes to the Bulls, he goes to Orlando,
he goes to a place that where he's instantly he's
gonna be allowed to take a lot of shots and
he's there's not gonna be bad shots and doesn't have
(01:42:59):
a next fairly defend to get on the floor. Uh.
Then I don't know that you would see the best
of Michael Porter Jr. So I like it in both directions.
All right, Um, did anything that happened last night effect
free agency? Uh? No? I mean, if I guess, the
first thing would be, you know, Colin Sexton being drafted
(01:43:21):
by Cleveland. To me, that's a curious pick. It's it's
uh not a great shooter from what I know, Uh,
defender doesn't make a lot of mistakes. That sounds kind
of like George Hill in any in a slightly younger body.
So I that's not going to be enough for Lebron
James to say, oh wait a minute, we got Colin Sexton,
(01:43:44):
hold on, I'm not going anywhere. I don't Honestly, I
don't know that anything transpired last night that that changes,
whether it's Lebron James or Kauai Leonard or any other
decision that the teams are making. Yeah, I look, I
I tend to agree with you. I actually like Collin sext.
(01:44:06):
I think not George Hiller's Chris paul Ish. Chris paul
is a better pure point guard as a passer, probably
a better shooter at this point in time. But in
terms of leadership, toughness, ability to get to the rim,
I think that's who I could kind of close my eventually,
maybe he could become that said, it is like a
Porter Jr. Would be somebody who I would have maybe
(01:44:27):
if if there was some desperation to try and keep Lebron,
I thought, maybe that's what they would have done. Um
with that in mind, what are you hearing with Lebron? Well,
but here, I mean, look, keep in mind Lebron teams,
where where did they go when it really matter? He
doesn't want to play with young guys, so it doesn't
(01:44:48):
even matter how good they are coming out of coming
out of college or what they might be Um, he
had Andrew Wiggins traded for Kevin Low's that he wants
to play as guys who are capable of reading his
game and being in the right place at the right time,
young guys in general. Um, it's it's hard enough to
(01:45:09):
do that at the NBA level when you're doing it
to the Lebron According to the Lebron system, you have
to be even more adept at understanding the game. So
the UM, what what's what's your question beyond that? Um? So, okay,
what is it with? What have you heard as far
as Lebron? I mean, it's it's it's kind of the
(01:45:31):
same thing. All indications are that it's a matter of,
you know, what is l A gonna look like? Who
is going to be headed there with him? What's that?
What's that going to lewis the dynamic is going to
look like? Um? I really think that that's where the
from everything that I'm hearing, that's where the conversation is
(01:45:51):
is like what are they putting together? That is I
don't want to overstate it, but what kind of team
is Lebron James gonna be playing with? Uh? Should he
decide that he goes to the Lakers, what what's the plan?
What are the options? Um they obviously they reached out
to san Antonio when it came to Kauai Leonard, and
(01:46:14):
the question there is I think a lot of people
took reported off of that that the the Lakers were rebuffed. Um. No,
they had a conversation and the Spurs let them know,
this is what it would take for it to happen,
and you don't have it. So I would expect that
if something is going to happen, happen the Lakers have
(01:46:36):
to figure out how to how to create a three
way scenario because I don't the pieces, the pieces that
san Antonio would would want to get back are not
on that Lakers roster. Now, how the like that's going
to be? What are they what do they look at?
What is it looking for? Rick? Essentially, they're looking for
a top twenty player, like get us a player, get
(01:46:56):
us a player. The contributions we're not that. This is
a lot of times in these situations we hear young
pickh we hear we here draft picks, and we hear
young potential players. San Antonio is not looking for that.
They take a cue from what the Cavs did when
they moved Kyrie Irving. They take two things from that.
Number One, We're not going to rush into a deal
(01:47:18):
just because the guy, the side of the guy says
he wants out. We're we're we're going to make sure
that we get the best possible deal that we can
and we're not going to take players that we think
have potential or could are just a fit. No, we
know what Kawhi Leonard is. If we're going to give
(01:47:40):
him up, then we want a something player that we
could envision being a cornerstone player going forward. You don't
have that on your roster. If you can find one
and and parlay that into a deal, then we can
continue our conversation. Doesn't this become kind of a game
of Chicken a little bit? Right? Like, I know, I
(01:48:01):
understand what san Antonio wants, I understand what the Lakers
are willing to give up. But the Lakers, still in
their back pocket, have like, hey, look, he ain't gonna
resign with you, and it's hard for you to trade
him anywhere else because they ain't gonna resign with anybody else.
And whether or not any of this is real or
you know, if you offer him the Supermax, he doesn't
resign anyway. Nobody really knows, right, everybody says I'm not
(01:48:21):
coming back, like, okay, two fifty million dollars. Wait a second,
and you think this thing so, but but doesn't. Doesn't
It become a little bit of a game of chicken
in that the Lakers do have the leverage of Kauai
stating at least to somebody, I want to be a Laker,
and that limits who they can trade him to. Yeah.
I think the X factor here is what kind of
(01:48:44):
timeline of the Lakers working on do they need, like,
do they need to have Kauai Leonard in order to
make it, you know, to to seal the deal for
Lebron James. Is that the guy that Lebron James wants
to play with or is there another guy that would
be uh they could fill that bill. I don't have
(01:49:06):
the answer. It's it's really a question, but it's hard
to be imagine. It's hard for me to imagine the
Lakers saying to Lebron in their conversations, Yeah, you know,
and by the way, we're gonna get Kauai a year
from now. Lebron's gonna be okay, So, but who am
I playing with now and if you're going to get
somebody now then and your back burnering, Uh, Kauai, that
(01:49:29):
puts you in a different, an entirely different situation. And
I don't have the answer to that in terms of
what the timeline is or what the insistence is from
Lebron that yeah, you know what I want to come.
I want to play for you, I want to play
with I want to I want to play for Kawhi Leonard,
with Kawhi Leonard. How do you make that happen? Rick
Vieuker Bleach Report joining us Doug Gallant Show, Fox Sports Radio,
(01:49:51):
Crispers are guys, if we have at Christoper Sar was
on the heard earlier today and he said this last night.
We had an NBA draft show. He said last night
as well, Uh take a listen to what he said
about Houston and Chris Paul and uh the reup of
his contract that everyone thought was a done deal. What
I'm hearing is that there's tension now between Houston and
(01:50:13):
Chris Paul. Not irreparable tension, but there's some tension because
there was obviously a handshake wink wink. However you want
to describe it, deal or agreement between Chris and Houston
when he left four years a hundred seventy five million
dollars on the table with the Clippers. You don't leave
that type of money on the table unless they're like, look,
(01:50:35):
we're gonna take care of you. Don't worry, blah blah blah.
To to to finish the story, Buke, what he said was, hey, look,
Darryl Morey's out is we got new ownership. Right. We
don't want to say we we'd love to selling too long.
We got new ownership and they don't want to do
the long term deal, even though that was our previous agreement, which,
of course Chris Paul is like, yo, look I want
that that huge money deal. What have you heard. I've
(01:50:58):
certainly heard that they already had something in place, and
I have not heard that Darryl Moorey is going back
on that, although I would not be surprised with this
new ownership and where they ended up that they I mean,
they've they've got some big bills here. They gotta they
they're gonna sign Clint Capella back and that's probably gonna
(01:51:20):
be a big ticket number. Do you want to look
down the line, Uh? If I mean the new ownership
has the money that it has for a reason, and
so I it makes sense. I haven't heard that directly,
but when I just look at their circumstances, I can
completely understand why they're trying to hedge their bet with UH.
(01:51:45):
With Chris Paul particularly, you know, once again he gets
hurt and his ability to finish the season. What they're
gonna spend on Quint, the Clint Cappella, what they've already invested, UH,
it suddenly becomes a very hefty price tag. So I
understand why Houston would be hesitating now to do what
(01:52:09):
I heard. Yeah, I mean, I don't know what the
numbers were, but I know that, yes, they had the
belief was that they already had a deal in place,
and I can understand why that would bother Chris Paul.
The difficulty, and this is what this is the real difficulty.
You look around and everybody spent their money. There aren't
(01:52:30):
a lot of places to go where you're going to
get paid and you're going to be in the same
situation with the same kind of team that can compete
like Houston. Camp. Last thing, and this is the utmost importance,
Rick Duker, you think of him as basketball savant, knowing
all things inside the NBA, covering for years now with
(01:52:50):
with Bleacher Report. Um okay, so, no I would not
wear a suit that had shorts uh as part of it.
No I would not. No, no, no, I was. I
was going to ask you about about um Croatia when
in Crazia gets so good at soccer. Uh, God dude,
good question. Um. I don't think that they've ever necessarily
(01:53:14):
been all that bad. But I I will be perfectly honest.
I love the game and I've been watching, but I
haven't watched. Um, I haven't looked at the at the
tables and exactly what I'm just I was. I just know,
like for people don't know, you played soccer Dartmouth in
(01:53:35):
you yeah, yes, yeah, you look the Eastern European teams
and um, I keep in mind it's a location, location, location.
Playing in Russia as a plus for them, it's uh,
it's not a home it's not it's not home field advantage,
but the temperature of the time zone, all of that
(01:53:55):
is uh, it gives them a little bit of an edge.
I thought there was that Nigerian goal at first Nigerian
goal today with spectacular be interesting to see if Messy
advances they can take down um. All right. Also, Buke
has a really good podcast. It's called The Swirl um
and I like it. I downloaded um uh rich with
Ryan Hollins. That's why you know Ryan is Bryan's black,
(01:54:18):
He's white. Swirl is very funny. Anyway, you're down in
town next week, right, I am, I'm gonna be doing
I understand, I'm gonna be doing a show with you
on Monday. Yeah, we'll be doing some first things first
next week. All right, dude, enjoy the weekend, enjoy the soccer,
and keep us update. If you hear anything on Lebron
to l A or Lebron staying home or Lebron to wherever,
we appreciate you joining us. All right. That's Rick Buker
(01:54:43):
from Bleacher Report. Car shopping can be confusing with terms
like dealer price, list, price, invoice price. True Car shows
you what other people paid for the car that you want,
so you can recognize a good price when you're ready
by a newer used car. Visit True Car. You'll enjoy
more confident car buying experience. Let's let's get to Isaac
lowan Craft. Who's got who was manning the desk fromind
out what else is going on? I mentioned that what
(01:55:04):
was the final score that Nigerian match? It was too nil.
You don't go to nothing like in this show we
go to nothing. Let's do nothing. Nigeria to nil over Iceland. Okay,
So Croatia is is? What is? What is Croatian? Now?
Croatia's in first place right in the Cogerias in second
in the group, Nigeria's in second UH, and Argentina and
(01:55:28):
Iceland are tied in third. Yes, so they are they
are still alive. Yes. The only team that had their
chances of reaching the knockout stage today UH snuffed out
was Costa Rica. They and Brazil were scoreless after ninety minutes,
but then Brazil got two stoppage time goals in the
ninety one and ninety seven minutes, so they also win
(01:55:50):
their match to nothing. It's like Nigeria's win over Iceland.
And other dramatic finish came with Serbia and Switzerland tied
at one. Late this story, the coln Fox of Switzerland
(01:56:17):
wanted over Serbia to one NBA. Mark Stein of the
New York Times reports at Oklahoma City forward Carmelo Anthony
will not opt out of his current contract with Thunder
and let this Saturday's deadline pass and keep his current deal,
which is on the books for a healthy twenty seven
point nine million dollars next season. NFL popular referee Gene
(01:56:38):
Sterator is retiring after fifteen seasons as an official. The
final game of his career winds up being when he
was the referee for Super Bowl fifty two this past February. Yeah,
what a way to go out Patriots and Eagles in
the Super Bowl, the first and only Super Bowl assignment
of his career. He's reportedly headed to become a broadcast
(01:56:58):
refereeing and list and finally in Major League Baseball. This
news just coming down a short time ago. Dodgers picture
Clayton Kershaw has missed the last three weeks with a
strain back. Will return to action tomorrow against the Mets.
Originally slated to make a rehab start tomorrow, but because
of bad weather, they decided not to go ahead with
the rehab start and just have them start in the
(01:57:20):
big leagues against the Mets tomorrow. Doug back team, he's
not going to Oklahoma, says a bummer. If you're in Oklahoma, city, right,
and he's like, oh, I get to see Clayton Kershaw. No,
you do not, oops, Clayton Kershaw. I was looking at
the tables is what they call the standings, right, that's
what they call it in soccer, the tables. And the
only thing that was interested in was was there a
(01:57:41):
chance that we would get um Serbia versus Croatia, right,
that's that used to be the same country. They do
not particularly enjoy each other's company historically, Serbia versus Croatia,
that's groups D and E. Of course, Switzerland winning today
hurts so or be a. Croatia has five points and
(01:58:03):
they're a plus five and gold differential. Almost assured of
moving on. I believe they actually na Yeah, I think
they're there virtually are assured of moving on because they
have two wins. Nobody will pass that. But but they
will not match up with with Serbia, So that's kind
of a bummer. I like the I like the ultimate rivalries.

(01:59:14):
the weekend Lake Beach Mountains. Uh. Sunday, my dad gets
inducted to the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
It's posthumously, but still cool. Honor. Get a chance to
hang out my brother and my mom and UH and
some friends. If you're in l A you can uh,
you can pop in if you will. I know, I
know music that dedicating his entire weekend to the event,
(01:59:36):
Ramos is actually tailgating out in front. I appreciate that. Guys.
It's a ton of support coming from the good folks
here at Fox Sports Radio. All seriousness. Have a great weekend. Uh,
and and look, Ramo said, I disagree. I think Incredibles
two is better than Incredible is one. Um Ramos is
our movie expert. He greatly disagrees. I believe this weekend
Jurassic the New Jurassic World, or whatever it is comes
(01:59:59):
out at that should be exciting or make you crap
your pants. One of the two or a little bit
of both, a little bit of both. Let's get to
the press, the press. Protecting your home Team Farmers customizable

over to Isaac Lowan Crown, Isaac, what's in the press?
Still trying to make heads or tails of this first item, Doug.
On Thursday, the jersey worned by the infamous J R.
(02:00:43):
Smith during his Game one NBA Finals meltdown was auctioned off.
The bidding began at six twenty dollars, increased to eleven
thousand dollars, and finally wound up being sold. Forget this
twenty thousand, five hundred forty eight dollars for his game
(02:01:05):
one jersey. Who's jersey? J R. Smith, the jersey wore
when he thought that the Calves were leading when they
were really tight. Um, I owned some memorabilia from people.
I don't know. I just I don't feel good about it, right,
Like if somebody gives you a jersey, or if it's
your jersey, especially your jersey. I just I don't understand
(02:01:27):
the buying other people's glory or buying other people's sadness.
But whatever is he donate the money charity? Or is
the charity Jr. Smith? That's what I wonder. I wonder
exactly who has the disposable income or the interest to
buy that. But it just opens it up that there's
gotta be a joke in there somewhere. I could just
see the bidding like this last confirmed bid at eleven
(02:01:47):
thousand dollars, like that being the high bid, and whoever
bought it like more than doubled what the previous bid was.
That would be appropriate for H. J R. Smith jersey
from that blunder Game one staying in the NBA. This
reported it just a short time ago by the New
York Times. Carmelo Anthony will not opt out of his
(02:02:08):
contract before Saturday's deadline. So the poor guy, he's gonna
have to settle for only twenty seven point nine million
dollars next season. Almost never happens. The reason is most
guys can get another, longer, better contract that shows you
where you are with Carmelo. So, Oklama City, you're stuck
with him. You gotta figure it out. One wonder is
what the top bid would have been had he opted out,
(02:02:30):
but of course that was never going to happen. The
latest odds on where Lebron James plays next season, the
Lakers have the best odds currently at four to thirteen.
You don't hear those odds very often under any circumstances.
The Cavaliers have the next best odds at thirteen to four,
(02:02:50):
then come to Bockets at fifteen to two, followed by
the Sixers at ten to one, the Celtics at eighteen
to one, and rounding it out the spur Is at
twenty two one. Yeah, I think he's gonna be a Laker,
but we'll find out in about a week and a half.
Speaking of the Lakers, what a shock they are not
(02:03:12):
inviting lo Angelo Ball to join their summer league team. Obviously,
it was thought especially by one LaVar Ball that he
was destined to play on the Lakers. I guess that
Lithuania experience not panning out the way they were hoping
it would. Well. Look, I think when you get down
to it, they got a couple of G League players.
(02:03:33):
They've got a couple of guys that they have placed
in Europe and their draft picks that they want to
get in. And you could have lie Angelo Ball in
your summer league team. But can you have them on
your team and not play him? And the answers no,
you know, so you're better off if you make somebody
else's team play with somebody else's team. I don't think
you will. But I actually think this is a really
really smart move by the Lakers. And finally, I want
(02:03:53):
to hurlationship. We don't want hurt relationship, Alonzo. Just cut
it right now and go, hey, lo Angelo is not
good enough exactly. And finally, in Major League Baseball, Bryce Harper,
denying that the cause of his current prolonged slump is
his impending free agency, tells the Washington Post quote, I'm like,
I don't think about it. I really don't. Me personally,
it really doesn't bother me. Unquote, he says, the past
(02:04:17):
couple of weeks, I've just chased out of the zone
a little too much. Could it be the shaving of
his beard? I don't know. A little Sampson to him,
and that's the press. Cars are a lot like sports.
You gotta have the right tools you want to go far. Luckily,
Auto Zone is a free loan a tool program with
over a hundred specially tools to get the job done right.
Stopping a day deposits required get in the zone. Auto Zone. Um,
(02:04:40):
I think I think the draft was kind of boring,
but that's what happens when somebody plays stuff from their
new album. Have a great weekend. Back Monday in the
Doug Outlip Show
