(00:26):
mail Bag at John Middlecoff is the Instagram firing those
dms questions answered here on the show.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Typically we don't do anything on.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
The weekends, or at least on Saturday. But I took
like Tuesday Wednesday off. I took Tuesday, which would have
been Wednesday's podcast. We didn't have one, so I was like,
you know what, let's throw out a couple of mailbag
questions for the weekend. That's what we're doing. Little Weekend
mail Bag at John Middlecoff. You guys know the drill
firing those dms. Make sure you subscribe to the podcast,
make sure you subscribe to YouTube page. Never miss a thing.

(00:58):
Let's just dive right in. Congrats on having a baby.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I just had my son, Kyrie, the first in November,
the first of November.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Congratulations.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
There's gonna be some pressure on your son to be
a Hooper. If Shador Sanders has a good game, great
game Sunday and potentially the rest of the year. If
he starts, can he be the next quarterback that is
traded this offseason? Depending on the quarterback class this upcoming draft, Well,
I think there are a lot of different variables here. First,

(01:31):
is there and we'll find out like after the game
and early next week, is there pressure on him to
play well? So if Dylan Gabriel passes concussion protocol on
Monday or Tuesday, is he just inserted back in the
starting lineup. That's what we don't know yet. If Chador
plays well, regardless of what happens to Gabriel, he will

(01:53):
continue to play. And to me, if he plays, how's
let's say he starts what's record two and eight or something.
Let's say he starts seven eight games, right, and he
plays well in four or five of them. I think
that would bring into play depending on the quarterback class,

(02:15):
especially if there's no one to draft high that he
would be their quarterback next year and they would just
use their draft capital to help build the team and
Shador would get an opportunity to start this offseason. I
think the owner has shown that, you know, he likes
the headlines. He's like a I don't know, Midwest version
of Jerry Jones, who loses a lot more than Jerry.

(02:36):
I mean, Jerry's way better his job than Jimmy Haslam.
But I do think if Shadoor plays well, assuming that
he continues to start, that he would get an opportunity
to be the quarterback next year. Maybe they would sign
some version of Flacco veteran Kenny Pickett type guy. And
obviously they still have Gabriel on the roster. Maybe they

(02:57):
have an offseason competition. I mean, Dylan Gambriel's not very good.
But who we're gonna find out about your door?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
What out middle coff?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
In twenty twenty three, do you think the Bills would
have been better off missing the playoffs instead of winning
five straight to get the number two seed. This would
have meant the McDermott would have gotten fired, and I
believe his replacement would have been Jim Harbaugh. Would the
Bills be in a better position today if they had
got rid of McDermott in twenty three. I like Sean McDermott.

(03:30):
I'm not rooting for him to get fired, but to
be objective, I'd have to admit that Jim Harbaugh.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Is a much better coach.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
If you could choose, who would you want as your
head coach, Jim Harbaugh or Sean McDermott. You would take
Jim Harbaugh. And the one thing, which is kind of
ironic because Sean McDermott is like a defensive tough guy,
like that's the defense is his baby if their defense,
and part of it might be the GM two that
there's a softness to the organization. Now I'm recording this podcast.
I know it's coming out on Saturday before the Thursday

(04:01):
night game. But regardless, like one thing with Jim, obviously
the Chargers have a bunch of injuries. There is a
toughness element to his teams, and I just think you
would add the toughness element with the talented quarterback.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I think the sky would be the limit. Now yeah,
I mean I think.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
That you never want to miss the playoffs, but in
your scenario, I think you could make an argument you
would have been better off. John have a different kind
of question, assuming the Broncos and Eagles both get the
one seed, who would you trust to come out on
top and win in the following wild card matchups? In

(04:40):
addition to covering a hypothetical spread for said matchup, Chiefs
at the Colts, Jags at the Pats, Bills at the
Ravens in the NFC, Niners at the Rams, Seattle at
the Packers, Bears at the Bucks. I think the Niners,

(05:01):
just given that they have played very well against the
Rams defense, that would be a Niner home game. The
defense for the Niners is terrible, but that would be
an unlucky matchup for the Rams. I think the Rams
would do anything to get the Panthers or the Bears
in that spot. I would say the Chiefs of the Colts.

(05:25):
That would be a shitty spot for the Colts. Now
we'll see that matchup in Arrowhead. Obviously, it would be
different in Indianapolis, Jags of the Patriots. You know, the
Jacks have a pretty good pass rush. It just come
down to how well Trevor Lawrence played on the road
and the Cole don't love that. Bills at the Ravens.
You know, the Ravens Lamar's been banged up this year.

(05:47):
I think I would like the Bills in that spot,
but Seattle that the Packers would have upset written all
over it. Question yesterday, had Colin had the Broncos going
to the Super Bowl a week and a half ago,
he was saying bon Nicks wasn't any good. Listen, I'm

(06:07):
gonna defend him this way, like that's the biggest game
of Boenix's career. It just was, and he outplayed Patrick Mahomes.
There's not a soul who would have said that over
the course of the last two months he had been
pretty bad. Now he had made some plays down the stretch,
but I do think it was fair to be like
this is we saw him Thursday night. I get it

(06:28):
short week, but at home against the Raiders, that's one
of the worst games I've ever seen for a team
that's like competing to win the Super Bowl. And the
other thing is like, this is not an old player
with a bad game. It's like if Jared Goff has
a bad game, like he's proven he's a pretty good player.
Now you don't want him outside. But I expect Jared
Goff to bounce back this week. Bo Nix, I don't
know what I'm getting weak to week. So basically the

(06:51):
question is curious your take on the notoriety they've been
getting in the reality come playoff time, because the defense awesome.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
And you can put some clamps.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
I think we could see a lopsided game for.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Denver in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
I just think bo Nicks is one of the biggest
wild cards in the league. If he plays well, they
can win the Super Bowl. If you tell me he
plays like he did on last Sunday and they have
home field advantage, they are gonna be a legit Super
Bowl contender. When you have an elite defense. It's why
my take on the Ole miss rebels. It's like, well,

(07:27):
Lane Kiffin could win a championship this year. When's the
last time a team with a terrible defense won a
championship in College of the pros? It does not happen.
So I think a lot of people are like, I
don't know about the Bills. I think it's fair.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
I don't know either.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Right, It's like, well, I can't quit the Packers because
when you have a fantastic defense. That's why the Eagles
are kind of hitting their stride. Yeah, their offense is
kind of shitty.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Who cares.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
If you're allowing ten thirteen points a game, you're gonna
win a lot of games. You just are. So I
think defense really really matters. I have no clue on
a weekly basis, though, what to make a bonex. As
a former scout, can you help me understand the reasoning
behind drafting a guy like Gabriel in the third round.

(08:11):
He's way indersized, mediocre physical traits. When the Browns were evaluating,
did they think he could be an elite quarterback even
if they surround him with weapons and an awesome offensive coach,
his ceiling would be someone like Tua, which you're never
winning big with anyway. I understand taking a flyer on

(08:31):
brock Purty, but he was at the very end of
the draft, not the top of the third round. My
question is do you think the Browns drafted him thinking
he could eventually be a top five quarterback.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
When you draft a guy in the third round.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
You don't think he's gonna be a top five quarterback.
If you think you guys gonna be top five quarterback,
you draft him in the first round. If they thought
he was going to be a superstar, they would have
taken him two or five. So once you get to
the third round, like, you just need a quarterback. So
I I don't know what they personally think of as ceiling.
There's no way they could think of ceiling is that

(09:06):
high now in their offense, if you can distribute the
ball in theory. You have a good running game, you
can make an average quarterback, or an average quarterback can
make your offense go. I'm with you, though, based on
his traits, to me, he would be an end of
the draft flyer at best. I've bet a lot of

(09:26):
teams Adam as an undrafted free agent, fantastic college player,
good guy. But when you have limited physical traits too,
and you play in a division like the AFC North
in a city like Cleveland, kind of need a big arm,
you know, you kind of it's Deshaun Watson didn't have
a big arm. Now they got the shittiest version of him.
But like, you know what works in the AFC North,

(09:47):
Big Ben, Joe Flacco, Lamar Jackson, you know, Joe Burrow.
Like you kind of got to be able to pierce
the win ideally. You know, none of those guys are Marino.
Flacco's got a huge arm, but you can't have a
peace shooter.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Like Dylan Gabriel.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
And I feel bad because everyone's shitting on him. But
the draft is a marketplace, right so when you draft
him in the third round, you're placing a value on
the guy. And to me, the value you're placing on
that guy. I'd be like, I'm making an offer for
the house, and I offer five hundred thousand dollars and

(10:25):
then the guy that got the house paid a million dollars.
It's like we value that house. We're both in different worlds,
right And to me, when they took him in the
third round, I think a lot of people looked around,
like what is going on. It's why I theorized that
they just drafted them so their owner didn't force sa
Door Sanders, who was plummeting in the draft, which is

(10:47):
ironic because they ended up drafting him a couple rounds later.
So I've been saying over and over that the Rams,
or excuse me, the Browns, it's a clown show. And
I do think they get a pretty big pass.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Now.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Maybe Andrew Barry would tell me my owner is nuts.
He forces me to do all this stuff and there'll
probably be some validity to it, but he always comes
out and says like, that was my choice, that was
my choice. If he does get fired, I hope he
doesn't tell all because I would like to know the
truth if the truth is not what we know. But
right now they're an embarrassment with an all time great

(11:25):
pass rusher and a promising looking running back. My question is,
if you are the GM of the Raiders, what do
you do this offseason? I'd imagine you have to cut Gino,
but that is an eighteen million dead cap hit, and
this quarterback class is not promising. We probably won't even
get a.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Top five pick. Do you keep Pete?

Speaker 1 (11:47):
I would highly think about firing everybody not spy Tech,
like I would keep spy Tech, And I would think
about like getting a young coach, maybe even a college guy,
like could I convince Sark to come to Vegas? Could
I convince Lane to come to Vegas? And we just
tear this thing down in the studs and build it up.
I think I might have said on Monday, like everything
should be on the table.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Brock Bowers included.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Obviously he's only in his second year and next year third,
but you could argue, you know, guys of his caliber
sometimes get paid after their third year. To me, if
you wanted to keep Bowers, I mean, they're gonna keep ours,
but I'm not promoting trading them. If they did, I
wouldn't say it's the craziest thing ever. If they got
two ones for him and two ones for Crosby and
just start it over. Now, what I think they will

(12:31):
do is I do think Max Crosby will be on
the trade block this offseason. And the one thing with
Gino is like he's a good guy, he can get
along with quarterback. You could draft a guy and keep Geno.
I wouldn't get rid of Gino at this point. No
point in eating the money.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
So I to me, it's probably time for Crosby to go.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
And it's like Crosby's on the block, it's pretty clear
who'd be after him, right the Lions, the Eagles. I
would imagine the Cowboys would sniff around be a lot.
His mark would be fantastic, but that would be the
number one thing I think.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Pete Carroll, Chip Kelly, the staff audios.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
You're a finance guy, well kind of trade sucks, Well,
I invest in sucks. I'm not a day trader, so
you understand present value of money. And the trade deadline
had me thinking in a lot of cases, wouldn't you
rather have a proven productive player now than a potentially
productive player if you're lucky in the draft, example, Brescee

(13:30):
Hall for a third round pick. If you're extremely lucky,
you'll get a guy in the third that's as good.
Hall has proven to be good if there is something
to be said about the present value of production versus
the hope of a player you haven't met yet works
out of season from now, here's the problem you're not
factoring into that variable is Breese Hall. Let's say you

(13:53):
don't resign them, so you get them for eight games
and maybe a playoff game.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Let's hear the Chiefs. It's like, why did the Chiefs
give a third round pick?

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Well, financially, I'm not going to play Bareshall twelve thirteen
million dollars a year, right, so I'm renting him for
the rest of the year, which is important. But you'd say, well,
I've made five elastic super Bowls. If that third round
pick just becomes a random starter, not even a good starter,
but just a starter on my team, I pay that
guy a million dollars for the next four years, and

(14:22):
I have a team that is very high priced. This
is the knock on the Lions.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Now.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
If you want to say, hey, why didn't you guys
trade for Jalen Phillips, that's fair, But when you use
the Breess Hall example, it's like he's a rent a player,
and most of the teams that would have been interested,
the cap is pretty important to them. So that third
round pick. You look around the league like a lot
of third round picks start and the other thing. In

(14:48):
your example, I think you should have removed bres Hall
and use Jalen Phillips in that spot because when you
use Breese Hall, look how many running backs are all
over the league who are good that are drafted in
the four or fifth, sixth, seventh round. You know, Sean
Tucker was even drafted on the Buccaneers is an undraft
free agent. Breese Hall was not a top ten pick.

(15:10):
So the guy was drafted in the second round, and
I'm buying him for a third round pick, So I'm
not even getting a discount. Like the Eagles didn't have
to pay anything to acquire Saquon Barkley.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
You can just find running backs.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
I'd argue, like, why don't you find the best running
back on a practice squad and go claim him over
giving a third round pick for bries Hal. But I
hear what you're saying. Today's show is brought to you
by our new presenting sponsor, hard Rock Bet. We talk

(17:21):
Why are the Chargers so inconsistent? They crushed the Steelers
and a week later get crushed by the Jacks.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
I had some.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Jags fans that were like, middle cuff, you haven't mentioned
anything they killed. It's like guys once they were blowing
him out, I saw paying attention like I'm sorry, no, hey.
I really like Liam Cohen. If if the NFL was
college football, the Giants would be all over Liam Cohen.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
He's been impressive. So I'm impressed with Liam Cohen.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
But like the Chargers are gonna have some games with
their Justin Herbert got hit on over half the dropbacks.
Their offensive line sucks. I think the Chargers could lose
anybody any given week. At this point in time with
their offensive line lifelong came a Bucks fan and a
season ticket holder. See, you're a very valuable commodity. The
Glazers like you. I love Baker and hate Todd. You

(18:07):
don't hate Todd personally, He's a good guy.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
But I know what you mean.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
My question is, do you think Baker has what it
takes to win a Super Bowl with Todd as head coach.
Fans blame Todd for most issues, but Baker's turnovers need
to come down. You think Todd? I would be I
would be a little stunned, and I do think depending
on what happens this weekend, there's a lot of pressure
on the Rams.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
It's not Todd's fault.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
They've had a bunch of injuries. I think Todd solid.
I think the hard part is is you know that
Liam connection was pretty special and the power of keeping
an offensive coordinator who's your head coach. There was a
reason they were trying to pay him a lot of money.
That one could be a regret. It's like, God, I
wish we just would have kept Liam Cohen as our

(18:49):
head coach. But I depending on how the season ends,
I can see Todd, But who are your options? The
problem is here's the thing with Todd and this is
a little show I McDermott. Now, Shawn's had much more
success than Todd Bowles, but same type deal. The quarterbacks
can get a little out of control. Obviously, Josh much
better than Baker. Part of Baker turning the ball over

(19:11):
one You kind of depend on him sometimes. I mean,
when you guys get injured, your defense getting shredded, he
feels like he has to make plays.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
So I don't.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
I don't put the turnovers on Todd for Baker, and
neither did you, I guess, But yeah, I don't have
a great solution.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
You guys are kind of in that weird predicament. It's
not like your coach is bad where you're gonna fire him.
You kind of feel stuck with him. You're probably gonna
win ten games. Your GM's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
He likes them.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Kind of a weird spot. I'm twenty five years old.
I was born into being a Jets fan and have
been my whole life. Am I and is the franchise?
At what point can I bail? It's tough, man. It
sucks because it doesn't even look bright on the horizon, like, Okay,
we have a bunch of picks. It's like, guys, this

(20:02):
is what you would probably say. We just had a
bunch of picks and we nailed like ninety percent of them.
Do you know those guys we just traded for a bunch.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Of draft capital. Those were players we drafted that were good.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Quinn Williams like twenty seven years old, been in league
for a while now, you know, he's got one or
two more years till his second contract is up, and
we just traded him first, first and a second round pick.
Sauce Gardner we just traded for two ones. Briest Hall
like was valued as like a third or fourth rounder
on the market. That's not even counting Garrett Wilson, that definitely,

(20:35):
if healthy, would have gone for a one and a two.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
So it's like we hit on picks. It doesn't even matter.
It sucks.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
I don't I don't know what to tell you. There
is something special if you ever get out of the mud.
But there does come to a point where it's like this,
this is not fun to watch. It does feel Aaron
Glenn was so likable and then he immediately becomes Jets
coach and.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Starts arguing with everybody it's like.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Bro, this is not and I get it, Like if
you had people asking you questions and you sucked. It's
just it's a miserable way to be as a coach.
But you're not gonna win that. When you're losing in
New York, it's only gonna get uglier. And you know,
you guys pay justin fields, so you can get mad
all you want. Like, that's on you, guys. And Aaron
Glenn early on was like in the off season singing

(21:25):
his praises.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
It's it could get.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Really ugly, it really could. Full disclosure, huge Broncos fan,
I think Nicks is gonna be a poor man's Josh Allen.
You're clearly biased and agree you have to get him
by the move. Wonder if Peyton is saving that and
some design runs.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
For some playoff games.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Keep up the great work, Caress, I'm getting married side out.
What were your favorite golf courses to play when you
work in Philly. He's got a long way to go
to become Josh Allen. Okay, let's put them the.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Brakes on that.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
I do think it's very fair to be really excited
after Sunday he outplayed Patrick Mahomes in the biggest Denver
Bronco game in a decade. That was what a badass environment.
Twenty nine million people watched.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
That's cool.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
That was a cool moment for you as a fan.
Let's just see him play back to back good games.
Golf courses. I played some public courses in Westchester. One
thing about Philly, the outskirts, some beautiful hills, great terrain,
great topography. I would say the best course I went

(22:38):
to was Ironomic. I didn't play it, but Tiger used
to host an event in like ten and eleven. My
brother flew out and we just went. We followed like
justin Leonard nick Watney's from where I live, so it
kind of followed him.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Badass course, which I.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Think is hosting the PGA Championship or they're hosting a
major in the next couple of years. But that was
probably the best course that I was around. We used
to have we used to play golf of this course
in New Jersey that used to let we had some.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Deal with the Eagles.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
I don't even remember the name, but I remember playing
some nice courses in Westchester. Love the Show never missed
an episode. Since you've been watching sports for a few
decades now. I was wondering, what are your top five
or ten sports moments of all time? Okay, we're gonna
end on this. I would say being there live the
best things I've ever seen live. I was at Game

(23:31):
seven of the NBA Finals in twenty sixteen. Shout out
to your dev's son, Kyrie. That was a pretty surreal
moment to watch the block for Lebron had on Andrea Gudala.
I'll just it's a regret of mine. I drank a
little too much, but I do vividly remember the game

(23:54):
ending and just looking at the Cavs sideline and the eruption.
I was like, this is pretty historic moment. Obviously, the
Warriors had won seventy three games, they had just come
back against the Thunder in seven games in the Western
Conference Finals, which obviously that loss led to Kevin Durant,
but you just knew that something was big. I remember
seeing the Dominican Sue at the game, Jared Goff at

(24:16):
the game, a lot of celebrities at the game. The
other live moment I was at Monday Night Football, the
last game at Candlestick. The San Franco forty nine ers
were playing the Atlanta Falcons and Navarro Bowman picked off
a ball I think it was Roddy White, bounced off
Roddy White, Matt Ryan kind of threw it behind him

(24:37):
and navaral Bowman took it to the house and leaped
into the end zone and it's it like clinched a
playoff berth for the forty nine ers. I remember looking up.
It's the loudest stadium I've ever seen the place. It
was like an earthquake. Place was shaking. And then they
had like an after party. All the famous forty nine
ers were there, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Jerry Rice, Eddie Bartelow,

(25:00):
Boys the Man. It was like a football celebration. But
that moment navaral Bowman pick it off. I remember watching
Jim Harbaugh because I was on the field, because you
used to be able to go on the field with
five minutes left in the game, standing next to Chris Berman.
Just a moment I'll never forget. And then I did
like local TV after.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
It was just really cool.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
I do remember I used to host a college radio
show when I first got into radio on Saturdays, so
I would be in the office on Saturdays in downtown
San Francisco and I remember watching the kick six Alabama Auburn.
I do think that's one of the crazier moments in

(25:43):
my life. Obviously it's Saban Dynasty, but just watching I
think Chris Davis, who ended up being an undrafted free
agent for the forty nine ers, I just.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Remember my jaw hitting the floor. I couldn't even believe
it was happening.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
And clearly, looking back, anytime you tried something like that,
you're such a disadvantage if you know, the dB returns
it because how many guys on your unit one it's
long snapper, holder, kicker, maybe a couple tight ends, but
it's just offensive tackles, guards and centers, so you don't

(26:17):
have the ability to make an open field tackle. It's
not like there are linebackers and safeties on the field
for you. I just that was That's one moment that's
just like entrenched into my brain. Yeah, I mean there's been.
I mean I've been lucky. I've lived through a lot.
I've I've watched every major sporting event the last I

(26:39):
don't know thirty years. I mean Tiger Woods is you know,
I'd say Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan are my favorite athletes.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
I was so young.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
You know, you're early nineties, I'm eight nine, ten years old,
and then Michael ninety six through ninety eight. I'm twelve, thirteen, fourteen. See,
you know, it's really cool, but you don't quite have
the sports expertise. I do think watching Tiger I remember
in college in two thousand and eight when he won

(27:13):
the US Open against Rocko on a torn acl and
broken leg. It's and they used to play eighteen holes
on Monday.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
I don't even think they'd do that anymore.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
But it was just him hitting that putt in San
Diego at Tory Pines. And then twenty nineteen when he
won the Masters, I had so much more like perspective
as a sports fan, understanding of like sports history, you know,
like when Tom Brady, as his career went, you could
really you kind of understood like every the legacy and

(27:46):
what was on the line. In twenty nineteen, Tiger's he
gonna win the Masters, Like everyone who had been watching
this guy since the nineties just knew, like this is
pretty crazy. And then when he wins it, that walk
up the Hill with Charlie. That's probably my personal favorite
of my adult life. Is Tiger twenty nineteen winning the Masters,

(28:10):
and I do think we were robbed a little bit
his car accident in twenty twenty when he flips the
Genesis and fucks up his leg and kind of ends
his career. He was playing really good in eighteen and nineteen.
Now was he going to go on the same level
of run And he didn't know, But I do think

(28:30):
he would have had a couple more majors and he
definitely would have won a lot of tournaments. He would
have been one of the better American players because technology,
he could hit fairways. Mentally he was so much more superior.
Every game was a home game for him. I am
glad we got eighteen and nineteen. He won the Tour
Championship in eighteen, he almost won the British Open in eighteen.

(28:50):
He almost won the PGA Championship against Koepka in eighteen.
But winning that Masters against just a crew of like
DJ Kopka, Tony Fenow, Maula NOWERI hits in the water
on fifteen, that was just badass that that was And
just as a huge fan, it was cool, like his
Charlie kind of got to take it in. But then

(29:12):
we were just kind of robbed, like his career basically
ends whatever eight months later in the ditch in Los Angeles, So.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
What are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (29:22):
But yeah, that that would probably be my personal favorite.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Tiger Woods twenty nineteen, The volume
