Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Good morning, Happy Saturday.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
It's five to twenty in one of your favorite sports
show brought to you by Boost Mobile. We are here
to recap game for it. It took place yesterday in the Bridge. Man,
the Thunder got a w yesterday against the Pacers one
eleven's one oh four. It was a hell of a
ball game yesterday. Man, A lot of people thought that
the Pacers are gonna close this game out.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
That is not the case.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Man.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Okay, see got them well yesterday in the Bridge. Man,
good game yesterday. I know y'all was tapped in.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Man. What y'all feelings about out the game so far?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
No, I liked the game. It was a good game. Okay,
the game has really been good games to me. I
just feel like I really thought you was gonna win it.
I ain't gonna lie. Bro just got spook at the end.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Man. We did not close out.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Man.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
How you feeling about the game so far? Man? Before
we get into a deep dive.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
It was a good game.

Speaker 6 (00:49):
I thought the Pacers was gonna take it all. They
was playing well throughout the whole game.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
I don't know. The fourth quarter just kind of got
a little There was a lot of fouls.

Speaker 6 (00:59):
Yeah, him did a lot of fouling Ben Nig Matther
and some filing at the end of the game. But
it was like they clean up them fouls. That should
have been a game they should have won most definitely.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Listen man, as a Patriers fan, I've seen a lot
of complays yesterday about officiating. I think the officiating yesterday
both ways was not the best. When I've seen Scott
Foster was pulling up to the bridge, I see the
player already. Man, they're trying back to his go seven.
I was not a fan of that. But that is
no excuse why the Patriers lost the game yesterday. Like
you said, in the fourth quarter, we did not play
well at all. What's that On the first half of

(01:30):
it was good both both ways. Both teams are going
back and forth. You got good contributions from both benches.
This time we talked about it. Bitch wins the games.
Alex Russo whoped out yesterday, had a smooth twenty piece
over Dyah was baldly.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yesterday for the patios.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
He was really showing up for us yesterday and a
game where especially for the patios, and we did not
get a lot of contributions on the offense yesterday. I
know Miles Turner was battling an illness, but he has
looked like they shelling himself offensively, especially what we saw
in that next series. For sure, you look at aaron
Ne Smith. Not been the best series for him. He
was two for nine yesterday. A lot of people were

(02:04):
calling for Ben Mathering yesterday. It didn't get a lot
of minutes. And we'll talk about his men as he
did play. But uh yeah, I think the rotation yesterday
was definitely a downfall to the Pacers lost yesterday. Tyree's
had a solid game, I would say a great game.
The turnovers from him yesterday was crazy. Usually he is
zero turnovers. He had five yesterday. You're not gonna win

(02:25):
too many games. Your point guard got five turnovers?

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Man, Yeah, you I don't know. I hate that being.
I mean being.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
I hate the males don't have a sub man. He
needed a breathe yesterday. He seemed like he was tired
out there. Yeah, was his illness, but I just like
he just I don't know, he didn't have a chance
to down to catch his breath.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Mmm.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Because I like being, I'm like, damn, he wasn't aggressive,
but I'm like, are they telling me not to shoot? Like,
what is what's going on? Because I needed another scoring option.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yeah, I mean we got that Doublast game because of
benterdig Mathern.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
He played phenomenal last game.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
I only got thirteen minutes, and again the minutes he
did play each.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Day wasn't the best.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
But I feel like early in rotation we definitely could
have got him in the game more.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Again, Aaron E.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Smith plays hard defense hard, got not rebound, so it
definitely was showing his persons on the court. But offensively
he did not give us much and we needed contributions.
Yesterday bad from offensive end.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Yeah, it's like guys like Andrew nilhard guys who have
really good moments. That's what I was saying about the
Pacers that don't have a consistent scorer, you know what
I mean, somebody's gonna always get twenty points like Benedic Mathing.
He had that great game. Well, we don't expect that
from him all the time. For sure, he probably capable
of doing stuff like that, but I don't think he
has the opportunity to do that. And that's the only

(03:40):
thing that scared me about this Facer team, even though
they're a really good team. You can't depend on somebody
to get twenty points here or nothing.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, because even the person we got twenty from yesterday,
Pascal mister twenty to night, he did not have a
great shoting game yesterday. He started off hottest in the
first quarter, but he filled off man. He was six
or fifteen yesterday and majority of that six of Mayfield
goals came in the first quarter. Todd Reese was aggressive
late in the game, which was cool. One thing I
had a real problem with ty Reese was out too
long in the second half.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
I know.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
We stick to our rotations. Cool.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
TJ McConnell did decent yesterday, but we needed ty recent
the game. There was like a six to seven point
minute swing where he wasn't in the game and that
seven point lead we had going to the fourth was
gone like that, And okay see turned up in that situation.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Man.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Our rotations weren't the best last night. But Chris, okay see,
they played good basketball yesterday. In the second half. They
were really pressuring the ball. Say what you want to
a boy. Fouls that's a scapegoat. Everybody got to play
with officials both ways. I don't think we lacked too
many foul calls yesterday, even though it was Scott Foster.
I think the SGA pushed off on Nee Smith could
have been offensive foul. Cool, but you still got to
win a basketball game. You had a league, you had

(04:43):
everything you needed to win this game, and.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Y'all was letting Jaylen Williams good off yesterday.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
Yeah, his game travel, he played well both these games
on the road.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, he's real comfortable in the Bridge bro twenty six,
last game twenty seven. Last night, eight for eighteen, and
again he didn't miss up the free throw line with
neither did SGA. I think half he had two free throws.
He ended the game with ten sous. He got eight
free throws in the second half. And if you look
at the Patriers yesterday, miss free throws unforgivable. You are
in the NBA Finals, regardless of what's happening, how you

(05:11):
feel about the physicality. You have got to hit at
the charity stripe, and there's a possession man that we
just legitimately missed three or four free throws. It was
just like Pascal smoked some then O we missed two
when we got the flagrant. It's like you have to
capitalize on those moments. Okay, only hit three threes yesterday.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
Yeah, they played.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
They shot terrible from the three point line, horrible, But
Bennetett came in and.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
Missed some some tough free throws.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Oh man, when ben came in the game, man, that
that's why I said it sucks and had that representation
for him.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
He came in and missed the free throws that we needed.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
On top of that, those two dead ball files got
them extra possessions because they gave.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Us a turnover.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Do we have a chance to capitalize and we just
didn't do it. Yesterday the game was within reach and
we did not execute.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Me and Mike was sitting here and I'm like, the
Patoon's gonna win. It's too close. These are kind of
games they win. And when they out that foul when
he was out of bounds and they get the ball
free throwing the ball back, I was like, shit over Now.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
I just don't like that y'all play with his minutes
like that.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
He can't to me, And I don't know, but I
feel like you can't get in the groove, like if
you just really don't know, like your role on the
sea what any given night, because even when he killed.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
He only played twenty minutes, play a.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Couple of minutes. So, like Bro said, you can't really
depend on him to go crazy. He ain't been able
to go crazy here because it ain't it ain't been
comfortable for him.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Moselfa and out to know, mexask is their professional sis,
is what they're called to do. But if you don't
play a whole half and you got to come in
hear free throws in the clutch moment, it's a lot
to ask.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Nah, that's very much, so allot to ask.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
I'm just surprised because he's the third leading score on
their team and it's like why he don't play.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Nobody ever has an answer for that, Like that is
insane to me. Bro, and I feel like it ain't
like he coming in there like destroying in the game,
Like y'all need his offensive, you know what I mean?
In Pascal and h Ty ain't giving it to you
that shit. Put your guy in man.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Let him rode.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Outside of Pascal, he is the only pacer who can
conftantly get his own bucket ISO.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Really outside of him, nobody else can get an ice
OO bucket. Even with ty Ree last Like, no, that's
what I'm saying. He is outside the pass. He's the
only other person who can get a ball to and
get a bucket byself. Everybody else you have got to create, create, create,
And I think that second half, like you said, a
lot of people aren't making shots.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
A lot of people want aggressive. So when ty Ree is.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Coming off that corner, yeah he got a couple of
nice layers, but it wasn't no space to get no
passes off, and we know he is a pass first player.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
It got wicked yesterday.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
Did a good job when he switched on Tyres at
the end, making him go left, and Tyres is trying
to get back to that right to the point he
cutting and he had to shoot a air boss step
back three.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
I'm like, that's good defense by chick.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
And like I played before, Shae was Guardney and he
hit shave with the right hand, got right to the basket,
laid it in and I'm like, many, I gotta make
that adjustment on time.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
You're getting the isolation situation on him.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
You gotta see him left, even though he capable of
doing his step back through or whatever.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
It is. But if you let him get to that
right hand man, you know the obs.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
Yeah, and Checked did a good job down the stretch
when they switched on them, not letting them get right.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Boy Chi was crashing that last two last night.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Most defitely very aggressive second chance points, especially in the
first half, and we seem to be playing very well.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
They stayed in the game because the second chance points.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Also, I got to show some love to SGA thirty
five yesterday he pretty much outscored Pascal and Tyres. So
when one superstars I was scoring yo, two people you
need to win. It's a recipe for disaster as.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Well for him, man, because they didn't getting nothing from
Hartenstein last night. Nah, them just in the way a
lot of the time. Yeah, but you look at the
me I mean you look at the stats yesterday for Check.
I mean you're getting fourteen to fifteen the finals game.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
You playing ball, You're playing ball, and we're not a
good rebounding team at all. So definitely imposed as will yesterday,
like we asked for Miles yesterday. Offensively, he's been struggling,
but you know that defensive energy it wasn't here yesterday
that put.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Back dunk that Check guy was a big play.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
Yeah, big play because I was like, if he they
would have missed it. I mean, obviously they missed that shot,
but if he didn't get that put back dunk, that
game was over.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
I'm rolling with that. Yeah. I felt like he was sure.

Speaker 6 (09:15):
Because some of the shots even Sga the shot he
hit down the stretch. That three was like a last
second he capable of making that shot. But they had
a good defense possession definitely, and he had a tough
three and then that that shot he hit over in
them or the step back where you're almost falling, tripping
or whatever.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Him just tough makes right there. That's a tough mate.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Another possession too, even though fans was upset about it
may be a little pusher that drip a hand off
of Miles is how recent lou door blitz and got that. Yeah, man,
that that sparked. That sparked the energy in that team.
All they need is wont to play. They strucks in
the water of blood, man, they are definitely gonna get
to that basketball on defensive end, man, Man, shout to
the thunder.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
They endure. They did what they're supposed to do, and
they got to win on the roll.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Man thatll of a game or will Hop in the
super chat for a second before we talking anymore.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Humble Web said Miles Hunter is selling? What's going on?
He nervous?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
They said, my boy has been sick. It's been evident
he hasn't been playing like the Miles were used to sing.
But it is NBA Finals. It don't matter. He got
to catch it up for show? Are young Duchi in
the super chest says Jeff would rather have a guy
your team Caruso or TJ Nash.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Shoutut to l D. Williams. Caruso, Yeah, Crusoe, shout to
TJ Nash.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
But crazy, come on.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Man, We talked about the bench not showing up.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
He showed up.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yes, twenty piece.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
No, you can't even pass the bass to the opposite
side of corporate him. Bro, that's a couple of times
turn like, why y'all keep playing with him?

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Bro?

Speaker 6 (10:36):
He had a huge still on Pascal. Pascal drove it
and he's funny. He came and jumped up and knocked
the past. Now he makes some unbelievable plays and then
when he's scoring, that's a bonus, man, What is a crazy.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
Bonus to get a dub?

Speaker 5 (10:50):
Too. Yeah, he earned his money for sure, most definitely.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Man like you said, he's outscoring stars on the other
side that he ain't supposed to accounted for it and
he blitzed shout took Groupso man playing good basketball for show.

He's one of the best in the league, all the counters.

He's just strong.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Bro, that's true.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Yeah, I can't be mad they pushing off these girl
men playing physical basketball.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
You can only do what you can do. And they
play good defense for the most part.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
I mean, yeah, he had thirty five, but and jo
nip Park played good defenses.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Somebody like that. You're not gonna stop for sure.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Eighteen and seven is not gonna cut it for Tyres
in this series. Bro, that's a cool game for somebody else,
but for him.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
But that's his need. Twenty five, that's his norm though.
That's what he averaged eighteen and eleven.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
What what they need him to them to be? Twenty five? Bro?

Speaker 3 (13:32):
You know what, in this game, I'm not gonna put
too much on him because in the fourth quarter he
did show up like he's supposed to hit, did hit
Tommy Buckets, got the energy going to get The five
turnovers is what I have the problem with because a
couple of those should be assist. But those turnovers were
definitely terrible players for sure, But nobody else in the
offensive man showed up yesterday for our team, and that's
really what my problem is. At least hit a couple
of shots to keep going. Everybody can't have a bad game.

(13:53):
Like you said, we are a team, team, team, so
that means everybody has to be solid. If you haven't
that many people slack off, you are definitely going to
lose against a team like Okay, see, yeah, most definitely.
But before we get more to the breakdown, man, listen, man,
we know File's day is tomorrow.

more ammunition for Rick not to play him. But we
need him to win this series, man. His ophysical contributions
is the reason why we even got to the final
versus Nicks.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
You gotta let my boy cook.

Speaker 4 (15:51):

The super chat. Y'all think it's crazy to say that
Sean Levis is one of the greatest mill rain shoot
of all time.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Jeff and Molok, how was it to guard Hill? It
was like guarding a post player.

Speaker 6 (16:25):
He played and after his injury, you know, he couldn't
move like he once did.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
He became a post player shoot mill range shots.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
I mean he's like six to seven, so that ain't
really foreign like for him the post up. But yeah,
he had an unbelievable turnaround jumper though.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Big reason why they won the championship.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Also, yeah, god say most definitely especially that first one.
Both yeah mill range' the lead shout to sn Levison man,
one of the best one the Midwest for sure. All right, man,
Game four, it's sober with Game five going back to
ok see Todd series.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
We got the momentum.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
So okay, you feel you feel a hot We're just
thunder right now.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Oh yeah, okay, see about wanting for this.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
This game five built to ask yeah, I've always expected
that we were probably lose Game five. I think the
biggest problem that I have is that, you know what
I'm saying, you had to win yesterday. You had to
win yesterday. That's a win you gotta have cause.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
I gave him too much cushion. But I do think
it'll go seven. I wanted to go seven, man.

Speaker 6 (17:21):
I thought it was a must win for Indiana last night.
I'm a little nervous. I want the Pacers to win.
I mean for the city. I don't care who win, honestly,
but the city has been cool. Last night was a
cool vibe downtown. Yeah, that was a must win for
the player. It's gonna be tough to be okay, see
support game to y'all.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Yeah to me, yes, because now you have to go
win another game. Okay, see it no matter, Yeah, you
gotta win.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Have to go win another game. Okay, Yeah, I don't
that's tough.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Like I ain't count us South, but to go win
game five, that's going to be a tough now, Scott Foster,
But I'll be there. I know that damn much. You
can't do back to back or Zach Zarba, no, say
Zach either side of my dog. But sit this out.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
We don't need no the energy man. Give us a
better officiation.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
I'm scared of the tyres. Bro the game seven in there. Yeah,
and they got the wings, Bro. The wings is my
boy is Angels was flying high. Bro.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
I would in game seven, you know what happened. You
know what I'm saying, walk them down.

Speaker 6 (18:23):
That'll be fire if we go seven and the Pacers win.
But you know what I'm saying, I ain't gonna lie.
It's gonna be tough to beat them twice.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Yeah, yesterday was a game.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Like you said, how game one felt for them, that's
our game four f for us, Like, oh we should
have had that, We should have closed that game out,
and we didn't play the best and the other day.
But you gotta go get a win like that. Okay,
See it's not finna hit three threes. Game five, the
game Sliders about to be up, Bro, you're about to
get Isaiah Joe with three threes, about to get crews
Old with three threes. Come on, wegs about to go

(18:55):
in and get eighteen again.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Oh yeah, I mean if it goes seven, I'm scared
of that thing right there.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
I think I think it's gonna go seven. I think, okay,
see win this game. I think Pacers come home and win.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (19:07):
And in the game seven, you never know what can happen, right,
I think they got a closer in Tyres, but they
got a closer s g A.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
Yeah, but it's just tough to win on the benches.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Game seven man.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
Tough to win on the road. I would imagine it
wouldn't be that much bench play in games. You gotta
you gotta ride with your horses. This is a legacy game.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Now putting my hands, so no, bro, we're gonna get
a little bit of a breathe.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
It's for all the marbles, bro, this is a legacy.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
I can't see Tyree sitting out like he did game
four that long.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
I was even surprised.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Okay, see coach when they took SG out in the fourth,
you know, saying he got that four fould just like
he took him out for like thirty eight seconds. I
seen you walk up and go back to he went
sat back down. He's like, now I'm going back in
this game. I was like, oh, yeah, about to give
us this game. You're gonna give us two minutes, let's
sga Nah. He did the right car, Yeah, and ain't
none of that.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
We get to a game, subs gonna be hard shot
ahead him out to sweating to breathe.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Hard out of It's one game. It's the last game
of the seasons for all the fucking marbles. Bro, you
cannot get your little at the rate break. Bro, you
gotta halftime for a reason, lockey in bro.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
All right, So who is y'all starting five for both
teams at the end of the game, the last three
minutes of the game.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
Who is your five?

Speaker 1 (20:29):
The game is close, The game is close at one point,
it could be either team up.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Well right now for the Pacers, depend upon how Miles
Turners playing.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Obviously he deserves to be in that moment.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
If he's having a struggling offensive game, damn kind of
go Obie, because Obie's been rebounding just as well as
typically Miles does in that situation, and he's giving us
a little bit more of a spark as far as
put backs and rolls and stuff like that. But I'm
gonna trust my starters brow at that moment. They've got
you here this far, They've proven they can play in
the moment, I'm gonna give him a chance to win it.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Ben is having a great offensive game, we sit him
with you know, at the end of the game.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
If Ben is cooking like he did last game before,
he has to be on the court.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
It has to be on the court.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
If he's having a regular game and you want to
go to your starters, I ain't.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Mad at it, but if he's killing you gotta watch
your high end.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
We've seen some unsung heroes, you know what I'm saying,
show up in games we didn't expect him to. But
I think the starts on that, right if I'm okay,
see I'm rocking with my.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
Fopso played my starters.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Yeah maybe car So I would sit hard and stunned down.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Yeah I probably played Caruso down stretch.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
Okay, I just want to ask you that. And he's
got the experience of been in the moment. Obviously he
gonna contribute. Come on, man, seven for nine, he was
hoopy twenty piece.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Yeah that hurts, y'all. Yeah, I mean everything you had
to turn heard, y'all.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
The game was even sloppy in the beginning of the game,
but him having that dub and playing defense like he do, Bro,
that that was a that was nailing the cof to.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Me, man, he helped forced a lot them turnovers. Man,
him a little dork.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
No matter what they got scoring, they gonna cause have
it for sure. But a good man, good game. Excuse me,
Todd series going back to Oka, See it will be
a tough one on a roll.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Okay, See is.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Gonna definitely play very, very hard. I expect the pace
to show up. But this has been a good series
so far, man, so we are excited. Hopefully go seven.
I would love for it to go six for pacers,
but you know game seven. Ain't nobody mad at that
at all. One more time for Boostmobile, Man, you know
the vibs ninety nine to ninety nine. Tap in, get
