Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. All right, guys, Hey is the boy DC
your favorite podcaster and also a role partner. And of course, fellas,
when you're in or you're out of the bedroom with
your partner or that significant other, you have gotta satisfy
their needs as you try to satisfy your needs. It's
(00:22):
so important. Hey. The one thing about Row when you're
in the bedroom. Our guys that roll sparks, they got
your back with his long lasting functionality. Rose sparks are
a two and one prescription treatment for guys who are
more controlled erections. And it doesn't take long either because
after they dissolve, they work in about fifteen minutes on average.
(00:42):
Is because the pills dissolve under the tongue and go
directly into the bloodstream. Road connects guys with medical providers
one hundred percent online so you don't have to waste
time in the waiting room and if approved treatmentships directly
to you. For me, honestly, it's a no brainer. Row
(01:03):
is some must have guys, trust me. New sex health
patients get fifteen dollars off of their first order of
roast sparks on the recurrent plan, So connect with a
provider at r O d ot co slash DCTV, row
dot co slash dc TV to find out if prescription
(01:23):
road Sparks is right for you. Guys, that's r O
d ot co O slash DCTV for fifteen dollars off
of your first order. Hey, get them roast Sparks. I'm
telling you they work. What's up guys? This Wednesday, June eleventh,
(01:45):
and the boy is back in. Today's episode is brought
to you by Total Wireless, the official wireless provider of UFC.
They're in your corner with unlimited data that won't slow
you down. Guys. Oh my god, John Jones just won't
eat pressure. Just pressure, guys. He's on the pressure and
(02:06):
I don't even know what I did to him. Look,
we did this a couple of weeks ago, and uh,
I thought we were done with it. But finally it
seems as though it's reached a little bit of a
boiling point. Now there's things from both sides, and we
will get into that as the video goes on. But
(02:28):
first and foremost, a couple of weeks ago, I said
to John Jones, go fight Tom aspinall leave me alone.
I thought it was good chall and I host the
podcast Chall and I on The Ultimate Fight It Together.
Chall and I are tasked with talking about the biggest
news in the sports of mixed martial arts. It seems
(02:49):
as though John Jones does not like being talked about
by two of the biggest voices in this game. Chaill
and I were discussing John Jones last week on our show.
I think it was the ESPN, and it prompted this.
First off, it's very weird, all right, talking about yourself
(03:11):
and the third person. It really is. But John tweeted this.
John Jones whipped both of y'all, But hey, why not
team up on a podcast and gossip about his life?
Meanwhile he's out here making your annual salary in a week.
Stay busy, boys, this is John Jones rope. Come and
(03:36):
pull the curtain back for you guys. I know what
John Jones made in Thailand. I was offered to coach
this show with John Jones in Thailand. John Jones's resume
is impeccable. John Jones's resume matches up, if not exceeds,
(03:57):
everyone in the business. John Jones's star power, his ability
to sell matches up with anybody in the business. John
Jones and his ability to bring eyes matches up with
anybody in the business outside of Connor McGregor. But guess what,
Daniel Cormier's resume matches up with anybody in the business.
(04:21):
Daniel Cormier brings eyes like people in the business. Daniel
Cormier can do and get just about whatever. And I'm
talking like John Jones. Now he's got me talking in
third person. All of that is true. So when they
come to me and say, hey, I would like you
to coach this show opposite John Jones, knowing the history,
(04:42):
they have to come with a nice offer that would
pique my interest. Let's say I turned that down. If
that money was more than I make in a year
in a week with the jobs that I do, wouldn't
I I've jumped at that opportunity. Nothing would have stopped
(05:02):
me from going to get that opportunity. John Jones don't
make more money than me in a week. John Jones
makes more money than me when he fights. That's it.
Outside of that. He ain't geting with me and Chill
getting from ESPN, the volume, DraftKings, Total Wireless, Roast, Sparks,
(05:25):
Monster Energy. I mean we over here eating. So that's
just false. That's false. It's almost like that time the
Young Bucks, this wrestling team said to me, we're selling
out Arenas. I'm like, well, I did too. We're literally
arguing when we all have done the same things. You
can't say I make all this money when in reality,
(05:46):
the biggest paintings you ever had were tied directly to me.
We did it together. We did it together. We ain't
doing it together right now. And I'll be honest with you.
I'm talking about you, and i'm talking about you. I'm
getting paid to talk about you. But I don't fight
(06:06):
no more because all I can really do is talk.
That's that's what I do. You fight, or at least
you're supposed to fight. So the opinions of John Jones
have been all over the place, I believe, and this
is one of the reasons Ariel and I had argued
and stuff. At times. I thought he was such a
(06:28):
staunch supporter of John Jones. I was like, man, you
guys really kind of back him, And I'm like, I
don't know about that, man, But he's a reporter and
he always did his job as down the middle as
he could. Even though him and I have a very
good friendship. But the other day Ariel said about Jones,
(06:48):
he thinks with all of these tweets, he thinks he's
having the greatest run on Twitter. What's really happening is
he's cooking legacy right now. He's making a mockery of
his legacy. Show me a great champion, a great from Jordan,
Brady Lemieux, al Lee Gretzky. Show me someone who acted
(07:14):
like this in their final chapter. Show me someone who
refused to play it forward. In terms of playing forward,
I think he means go and fight the next guy,
and if you get past the next guy, then it's
still your time. But if you don't get past the
next guy, as with every other thing in sports, there's
always a moment where the new breed kind of comes
(07:37):
in and he surpassed the old breed. John Jones knows
that better than anybody. He has surpassed the new breed
and the old breed multiple times over the course of
his career and his runners World Champion. He's one of
the greatest champions of all time. He's beating everybody. He
went through the old guard, meaning he went through Vitour,
(07:58):
he went through Showgun, he went through rampage. He literally
put all those guys in the rearview mirror, and then
he moved on and he hit Rashad and then he
hit Gusterson, who was the new guy. Then he hit me,
who's a new guy. Then he hit Anthony Schmidt, who's
a new guy. In Thiago Santos and Dominic Rez. He
hit him all. He put everybody back. Then he goes
(08:20):
to heavyweight beat Cyril. Then he went put the old
guard back with Stevee. He's beaten all of them. He's
been constantly pushing back that next wave of challenger. But
there's one more wave, because no matter how many times
you've done it before, there's a real possibility that at
some point it catches up to you. Nobody gets out
(08:41):
of this thing clean. Habib did it. George Saint Pierre
had a fairy tale ending, but George Saint Pierre still
had moments where things didn't go great. George s Pierred
lost to Matt Sarah. That sounds crazy, but it's hard
to get through this thing clean. Jones has gotten through
this thing clean longer then most people can ever imagine
(09:01):
getting through this thing clean. But at the end of
the day, there's another young humpet, up and coming guy
that deserves Tom deserves an opportunity to fight the greatest.
If you're the greatest, you go fight him. That's how
it works. And you know what's crazy, Anderson Silver started
(09:22):
to get beat by the young dudes on the way
out right, And maybe he stayed around too long. But
if Anderson Silver would have walked away when Chris Widman
got him, the world or is he got him the
world would have been much more forgiving. Because if you
lose one, they're not gonna judge you by that one.
They're gonna judge you by the fifty title defenses that
(09:43):
you had before. Now, if you go and lose to Tom,
and then you go and lose to another guy, and
you lose to another guy, now it starts to mess
with the legacy. I think this man's legacy is secure.
He just has to go take the fight. It really
is that simple. It's NBA Finals time and the boy
DC is fired up about getting in on the action
(10:03):

Speaker 1 (11:16):
So Dana White lately and been asking my guy, who's
going through a lot right now, and I'm gonna talk
about him at the end of the episode. Always talked
about I don't know why Dana loves John so much.
He's been so positive about him. But when asked about
it last weekend, he said he hadn't really heard what
(11:39):
was going on, and he was told that John said
he'll vacate the title before he gets stripped. And he
was like, wait what, and he said this, He said
he's ready to vacate the title. That's fucking crazy. I've
been busy. I haven't been keeping up with the gossip.
He either comes back today or he's coming back today
(12:01):
from Thailand, and we're going to talk tonight or tuesday.
We'll get this figured out. If a guy wants to
walk away, he can walk away. I didn't want Kabev
to go Da da Da Da da dad. But he
also went on to say that John Jones accepted the fight.
There was a wild number that we heard a while
(12:21):
back thirty million is what John wanted. John said, I'm
not fighting him unless I get thirty million. When Dana
says John accepted the fight, well he must have got
pretty close, if not that number. But if he accepted
the fight and then the fight's not happening, and what
did he pull out of the fight. He did not
(12:43):
do the deal. Those are questions that I have in
all the while tom Asvenau sitting, tom Aspernall sitting and waiting,
even though he's so frustrated that he just wants to
fight anybody at this point, and he said he will
fight anybody at this point. He said he's frustrated. He
was trained with Patty Piblet the other day and he's
(13:05):
almost kind of mocking everything, and he said, everybody's got
a time limit and he's reached it. Now we're moving on.
It's all in the past. We're moving forward. Everything's good
and we can be fighting again. It's better now because
I do know what's going on in a bit and
I'm gonna fight soon, so that's nice. But for the
last six months, I've kind of not known what's going on. Money, fame, titles, rankings,
(13:29):
all that aside. I just love fighting, is what Tom
Aspinall said. I like fighting people, and that's what I
got into it for. I didn't get into it to
fight and do anything else. All of the other stuff
is just nice to have on top. I just want
to fight, and that's been taking away from me for
over a year. But we're nearly over it now, which
(13:52):
is good. Tom Aspinall seems just content with whatever happens,
even if it's not a fight that he's been waiting
a long time for. I don't know why they didn't
fight before. John Jones looked like a world beating that
fight against Steve A. Steve A didn't look like himself.
He looked like a guy that hadn't fought in a
(14:12):
long time, and he was forty two years old, but
he looked like a world beating. And if that guy
shows up the fight, tom masno, he can beat anybody.
When John Jones beat me that second time, I was
really good. I was good. I don't know if I've
ever been better than when I went into that fight
in Anaheim and he finished me. So I know how
(14:33):
good this dude is. But all this other stuff that's
going on around the fight, I mean, you're talking about me.
You're talking about Francis, you're talking about jail, You're talking
about all these things and almost ignoring the right thing.
The right thing is to go fight this kid, and
if you beat him, which is a real thing in
(14:54):
a real likely scenario, you can then stick it to
everybody like you've done on so many different occasions, and
tell him about it. Nothing feels better to a guy
like John Jones to be able to beat the guy
that you thought was going to get him in him
going what did I say to you? It's sweeter than
any tide or anything else you can give this man.
(15:18):
But he's got to be willing to take that chance
to go and fight this dude. Hey, could Tom Asbnall
put him out? Absolutely, Tom Athvenall could put him out.
He could shut his lights out, because guess what, you
can hit John Jones. He can be hit, but he's
tough and he has a great chin. He can be
(15:39):
hit though, and if he gets hit by that dude,
a big guy like that who's fast, Tom could put
him out right away. That's a real possibility. But there's
also a possibility that Jones takes him deep into a
fight that he's never in a place where he's never
been before, where Jones has lived. Joneses lived in those places,
(15:59):
and he could drawn Tom Aspinall. But we'll never know
if this dude don't just fight or quit or quit.
That's the truth. Not everybody gets to retire. John Jones
will get to retire from fighting, But if he doesn't
(16:20):
fight this guy, then that's just him quitting. There's one
real fight for him, and he's not so old and
washed up that he can't take it. So that's that's
how I feel about that we fought them all. I
can tell you guys on good authority, if I was
still fighting today and I was still the heavyweight champion
(16:42):
and Tom Aspinall was the number one contender, I would
have already fought him one thousand percent. The mindset that
I carried through my fight career, knowing how dangerous it
would have done nothing but excite me to see someone
standing across the octagon to that potentially beat me or
knocked my ass out. That would have made me train harder, smarter,
(17:05):
and be more prepared than I ever could have been.
That's what that would have done to me. What it's
doing to John Jones is very disturbing. And it's very
hard for me to understand because in my mind, this
guy's a fighter because I've seen him do it time
and time again. I don't know, it's very very uh,
(17:25):
it's a very weird situation going on this Jones Day.
But I just wish that he would understand that we
are doing a job and it's a very very lucrative job. Hey, Hey, John,
I'm in demand and it feels good right now. You
got a whole bunch of people turning on you, and
you are not making it any better with your actions. Guys,
(17:51):
been asking our good friend from Funking the Champ is
having a hard time. So that that night that we
did the episode of Funking and Chant the Last and
Ben was complaining about some issues. He had some infections.
He had a really tough time when he went to
that convention in Vegas. He was stuck there for a while.
(18:13):
I want to report to you guys that he is
now back home in Wisconsin. He's with his family, his
beautiful wife Amy, and everybody's just kind of praying that
Ben gets better and we can start moving forward with life.
For Ben. It's so sad and I don't know how
(18:38):
at times and life. Things like this happened to someone
that's so good because Ben Ashrican's a good guy. So
pray for Amy, guys, pray for the kids. Ben. We
love you, buddy, and we're constantly thinking about him every
single day. And I cannot wait for the next Funking
the Champ because we're gonna talk about that and so
much more. And we get so much of Ben in
(19:00):
the way that we all love Ben. And you guys
know how much we love Ben. So pray for Ben.
Shoot his wife Amy, askern one a heart, maybe some
prayer and hands on socials and let her know that
Ben has a community of people that love him and
care about him, and that we're all thinking about him
(19:21):
in this tough time. All Right, Hey, guys, thank you
so much for tuning in. I appreciate your support and
your viewership. I'll never take it for granted until next time.
