Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Thank you for joining me, morob. I appreciate you, guys.
I'm here with the champ, rob the machine, the walls,
Willy yo, man, this this is god. This is crazy,
like four times in one year, Like, come on, this
has to be crazy at least to you, right, A
little bit crazy?

Speaker 3 (00:27):
No, actually no, this is very normal for me. I
love I love fighting, and this is no problem. I
I would love to fight every every week, you know.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
But you know what, you know what I hate.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I had wit cut, yeah, of course, but then but
then you do the wait cut four times in a year,
and that kind of that kind of sucks.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I cut waits three times last year. I felt harry,
and then three weeks after I was backup fighting and
then I felt tightle you know.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
And the last year, so I cut three times.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Yea, so good. Hey did you really spar five rounds
on the day to fight last night?

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I did, And I tell you why because usually we
all fighters Saturday morning, we all do shakeouts.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Shake out, warm up, warm up.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
But for me, the best training is spanking, real spank,
you know. And then and then fight was here in
Vegas and I trained at Syndica. We have full acting,
and usually we do this in hotel, like you know,
stupid man.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Yeah, it's like not good, not good.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
And then here or like.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Right by a treadmill, one treadmill, you spar maybe hit
the treadmill.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
You got good, cage were never good.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
So here Vegas and I got my gym Syndica and
we have beautiful ACTINGA two good training partners and uh
by beat both of them.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
And if I sparing fire rounds.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
You put her gear. No, John as irresponsible. That's irresponsible
to you, coach, He's.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Never done it, not bro, don't fix it. I can't
make this guy do anything.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
He's if I try to put head gear on him,
Oh my god, you don't wear headgear and spark.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I used to before, like when I used to get
cut and I was wearing and after throw.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Now he likes to get cut. He makes him feel thatad.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Why don't you like to? Why don't you like the
head gear?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
It's not same, it's not same, you know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Why.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I mean, I'm getting older and I'm more smart fight.
I don't damage my SPI partner. I don't get damaged.
You know, it's good. It makes you more shop, you know,
when you have a head there.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Sometimes you get hit when you shouldn't because you have
the head gear and that doesn't hurt as bad.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
You don't see much, you don't, you don't wrestle saying
you know, you don't, you don't, not, you don't. It's
it's it's it's extra something, it's not.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
I was asked a question the other day.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
You've already defended the belt three times this year, right,
you win this weekend, it's it's unquestioned you're the fighter
of the year. But someone made a statement that, regardless
of the outcome on Saturday, Morock should be the fighter
of the year because you've already defended the belt three times.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Do you agree with that?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
That's up to you guys like you.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
You know, you have a great champion as yourself, and
you have a great experience. You guys decide this if
I am or not. Like me, I am just focusing
full fight and my job job is to train hard
and fight hard and do my best, you know, And
it's up to media, up to you guys to decide

(03:39):
if I am or not.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
And I don't have no problem if I will be
or not.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You know, I will just take it when you were
done with a fight, because I famously once went to
your house on the day after I fight. You were running,
I get doing like cardio and strength. How quickly are
you back in the gym sparring and grappling after a fight.
Like how much time are you taking off between these fights?
Because there is something to letting your body reset before

(04:07):
you start getting ready for another fight.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah, I agree, Like after the fight, of course, you
don't have motivation to be jim and drills and technique
and like the jiu jitsu, and you don't have motivate
because you don't have fights. Usually you don't know when
you're gonna fight next. But like what is this is
so me being very disciplined, like the last three months
training for the upcoming fights. It's right, you know, doing

(04:32):
my best, you know, I balance.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I saw you smelling food the other day. Were you
smelling the food? Like what you know?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
And so but like me, usually very strict, you know,
like eating best, training hard every day, a couple couple
of sessions like two times a day, and and then
after the fight.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
You don't have a fight, you.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Sit in a couch, you eat snacking all day, every second,
and you know I.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Need to work out.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
You know I need to.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Because if I was such a good shave, I cannot
be like just sitting and eating at or get lazy,
you know. So I need to even I'm not going
gym and training in like jujus techniques or like striking techniques,
but I need to at least run or lift or
something to active, like to go or swimming or something.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
You know, something, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
One of the things that makes you special and make
people draw to you is that you are a little crazy. Right,
So you're sniffing the food right, Like you said, you
eat the best that you can, but it feels like
if you're eating the best that you can, that cheat meal,
it kind of helps your mind, right, even if it's
not much when you fall off the boat, a little bit,
it helps the mind. Do you find that having that

(05:55):
little bit of uh, not a straight line right, you
go left and right? You think that that helps you,
especially not only in life but in your fighter style?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Des Yes, that helps because that's why I'm a happy fighter.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
You know.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
This way, I'm not like you, I'm not too much streak.
This way, I'm more happy, and that's why I'm willing
to fight many more years. Because if I'm like streak
every day, like each streak or training streak, or like
go straight, I will be tired too.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
I'm a person.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
But because of my balance in life or in training
and everything, that's why I'm more happy. And that's why
i wanted to long term, not like a creek. I'm
not like, oh, I'm not like oh, like next fight
and I'm done. I'm like, I want a long term.
But this this way I balance.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
You know, you.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
The balance is important, but you also said that. You
also said that when you're training, you are as focused
as anyone. Right, you balance with the other things. But
inside the gym there's no one like Morob. Right, you're
working harder than anybody. How much confidence does that give
you going into the octagon because people go, well, Morob's

(07:08):
not tired. I'm like, Morob's probably tired a little bit.
But Morob also knows that he works harder than you.
And if he's tired, he knows that you're tired. How
much confidence does that give you, knowing that you're out working.
I mean, I'm hearing this from everybody from John Wood,
al Jamaine, who's a piecet. They're telling me nobody works
like him. Guys that I respect, tell me that there's

(07:29):
not a person in the world that can outwork you
in the gym.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
No, there is guys that can beat me some technical,
some positions, especially when we go in positions works. Then
of course guys spit me not eve an al job.
But but yes, you're right, but exactly because if I
work hard in the gym, I know I put work.
I was not lazy. I don't skip the training, and

(07:55):
I was doing my best. That's why I'm so comfortable
in the fight because sometimes, like a Griefore fight, I
don't feel best. I'm I don'm doing like a very
good like some smarting sessions, but I know the fight
there I will show up and I will do because
I was training hard, and.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Yeah I was not you know, I was doing best
in training.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
But now you're finishing guys. Now you're finished.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
You're not only winning fights, you're finishing guys and you're
dominating them. That brings us back to Peorian, right, You've
now gotten yourself back to a point where you're fighting
a guy that you fought before. Virgin Hotel I called
the fight you took fifty shots. Fifty times you shot
on Peorian over twenty five minutes. What can you take

(08:44):
from that fight and apply it to this one? Now,
let me play Devil's advocate here. You got eleven of
those fifty. So technically he was very successful with his
takedown defense. And when you got him down, you weren't
able to keep him down. He was able to get
back to his feet. How do you change that as
you approach this fight?

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yeah, you're right, Uh yeah, So I think this time
I am much better to control. I will control guys down.
And also I think I'm much better fighter. I'm sure
he's much much better prepared for and uh yeah, my

(09:24):
goal is to you know, stop him and finish him,
either it's shriking or if you know, if you're underground, maybe.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
TK or him. That's my goal, you know.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
So I believe I'm much better now, and uh that
will be my goal. But we'll say it's a fight.
I respect Puterian as a fighter. You know, he's killer,
and you know a fight can go. You know who knows,
you know who knows he can knock me out to.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
But is that the only way to win? Does he
have to knock you out to win.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
I believe, so he has to like yeah, otherwise, no,
I'm coming, I'm gonna attack his head or his legs
or you know, I'm gonna I'm gonna bite him.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Isn't it.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
You just started liking Puriande, Remember you told me the
other day. You just started like, Okay, now I don't
dislike Peurian And now you guys have to fight.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
I know it's hard.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
You know it's hard because yeah, he's been like I
don't know, he beat Theavis some Figeredo and he did
speech you said, there is theres some Pigeroo wins this fight.
He was supposed to be in number. Now I beat
Davison Pigeredo what he's saying now and like, and he
was respectful, you know, like, and I'm like, okay, Peter, no.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
I was.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
And then every fight he was fighting, I was chatting
for him. You know, let's go Peter win. You know,
you know when you fight somebody and uh, either he
loss against him or win, then he wins, that makes you.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
Look yeah, yeah, let's go win. The only guy I
don't share for it. When he was fighting bouth this,
I was chairing for both.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
This day you still you still like now you still
don't your.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Little spoiled he says.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
They tell me, would you let your friend or anybody
tweet for you, like say, from your Twitter, you know,
or threats make somebody. Let's say if I say, if
if somebody disrespects somebody from your.

Speaker 7 (11:34):
Tweter like talks like you have to say something, would
you let somebody from your or social media nobody?

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Yeah? He did, he did, He did.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
He let somebody use his Twitter and.

Speaker 7 (11:49):
To send you message, Yeah, to disrespect me. You called
me fake champion. He said, Well, I don't think. I
don't think you're a fake champion. This is like, you're
not a fake champion. I mean you beating everybody. You
won what thirteen in a row? Fourteen in a row.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, it's like Islam, right, Islam just a tile record.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
And now you're like right behind him.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah, yeah, he's sixteen and fourteen and yeah, I have
a one short notes fight and it was one catchwait,
so one we have a catchwight fight about thirteen rings
in Pantomid but one catchwait?

Speaker 4 (12:26):
That's crazy? All right, guys.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Rob.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
What a Saturday night looked like between you and pore Lean?
How I mean?

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Because honestly, the last time he just was constantly under
attack where he never could get his offense going. Do
you do you feel watching him that he's made the
type of adjustments that he needs to stop you from
attacking him in the way that you do. Henry Shuro
just told me the way to fight you is to
fight in the center of the octagon. He said he

(14:27):
felt like the first round he did okay because he
was able to go side to side, but stay in
the middle and not go backwards.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Do you I mean, do you agree with that?

Speaker 1 (14:36):
I agree?

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Actually after the first round, I know how I was
supposed to fight against Henrison hudo and then pressure like
he was using my front caick to pro push him
back backwards. Yeah, and then just don't crazy.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
The punches and shoot him.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
So I make the adjustments in the in the fight,
because I remember we were preparing like like we to
coach would this fight and was in some other techniques,
but these other techniques I wasn't working. And then and
then we just make adjustments after the first.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Round to how to fight him, and it was working,
and yeah, so Henry soon, Hey, so now let's go
back to Peter Yan.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Who knows it's the same opponent, but the fight could
be totally different.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Does he look different?

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Does he look better than he did before you fought
him the first time? Or does he look like the
same guy.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
He looks the same guy, But.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
I also remember myself I was like different guy too,
and different my set. And and also who knows he
may be prepare.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
For me different?

Speaker 3 (15:41):
You know, who knows he may be like I don't know,
he maybe do something else, like maybe he would move
too much, something else.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Your last rematch was against Sean O'Malley.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
He went from fighting him in a fight that was
not competitive, but it was a decision to finish in him.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
Do you think that just.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
A second time in the octagon with you will lead
to worse results for the guy because you know what
they feel like now, like when you think about Pyodian
and knowing that you spent twenty five I remember that fight.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
You were smiling so much going to the octagon.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
I couldn't believe how happy you were when it was
like the hardest fight of your life at the time.
You seem so confident going into that. Do you feel
like you can finish Peody on this Saturday?

Speaker 1 (16:28):
That's the goal? Yeah, I want to finish you. But
who knows? You know, who knows I want to finish?

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Yeah? Four times?

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Hjl Son said right that four title fights in the
year is almost disrespectful to the sport because now people
aren't supposed to do that. People aren't supposed to fight
that frequently, people aren't supposed to cut the weight that
many times, not supposed to step on the line that
many times in one year. And there is a segment
of fans or people around the world that go, what

(16:56):
is kind of crazy because it's something we've never seen before.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Like what do you say to that?

Speaker 2 (17:01):
To people that go, well, he's fighting too much, which
doesn't make sense.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Hey, but like I said, I love fighting. If there's
no way it gets I would like to fight more often.
So yeah, I guess it's possible. Depends how you want to,
depends how you love it, and uh, and.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
I love, I really love.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
I really enjoy, Like I tell you, I balance, you know,
I don't. I don't live like a strict lifestyle, you know.
And I enjoy. I still enjoy with my friends. I
enjoy food, and I enjoy life. You know, I'm not Yeah,
I you know, I you know, other than other than
looking for a wife, I don't have any serious I.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Was gonna ask you that, like any luck with that
because the last time we talked, he said that you
were done with the apps and you're gonna find a
good wife.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Any luck.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
There's so many great women. But no, that is uh,
that is not only one my wife yet.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
So here's the problem.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
If you're looking for a wife, you can't have so many.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
That's where you get to have so many women.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
But I haven't identified which one is gonna be my
wife yet.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
No, robe.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
I said, there is, there is, of course, there is
so many women's beautiful.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
You want a beautiful woman? Do you want a beautiful woman?
You want a beautiful Does she have to be beautiful?

Speaker 3 (18:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (18:34):
My wife has to.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
No, I know, just you know, wife no, no, I
don't want to go that way, you know, like, uh,
just has to be wife material and yeah it's a priority.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Is just just wipe material.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
You haven't found one yet though, not yet, but come on, ladies,
money Georgian woman. We need a good Georgian woman for
my friend Mirab like, come on.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Look at him.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Bash the number one the UFC bannamweight champion Morob Duallace
Willy is looking for a great Georgian woman and you can.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Also watch him.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Hey, all you beautiful women watch them Saturday a UFC
three twenty three as he defendes bandaweight championship for the
fourth time of the year. Guys, this is crazy. Nobody
does that champions fight twice. Morob is doing it for
the fourth time right now. One of the best champions
the UFC has ever seen, one of the most active
champions and all around great guys. So Morob, thank you

(19:27):

weight off. Until next time, guys, Peace,
