Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, everybody, Welcome into the Fantasy pros Football Podcast. I'm
Brian Warmley, joined as I am every Friday, by Pat
fitz Morris and by Derek Brown Fellas. It is Halloween.
Happy Halloween to you and to everybody listening. Two of
us decided to dress up in some kind of small
costume here. For those watching on YouTube.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
What are you since we're since we're going to dive
into that, huh, I'm Clark.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Clearly Clark Kent changing into Superman. I've got the Superman
uniform under the unbuttoned shirt. I've got the Clark Kent
glasses on. I think everybody could have probably have guessed
that fits. Of course, is Ray Mysterio come against his
favorite favorite wrestler, Debro is coming as.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I couldn't find anything to do, man, Okay, I have
a blow up costume, and I was telling Fitzy before here,
I had a blow up costume, and I can't.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
See to do the show in a blow up costume.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
I thought about it. Bro Debro showed up as as
Lex Luthor because he's bald.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I mean, yeah, it's fine, I'll be the villain here.
I'm happy with it.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
First of all, no no, pat Fitzmorris, this is a
mystery analyst. No, but shout out to our good friend
Mauricio Gutierrez for the mask. A couple of years ago
at the Fantasy Football Expo, Mauricio a great fantasy analyst
from the great nation of Mexico. He brought to the

(01:27):
Fantasy Football expol like two dozen Lucidor masks and had
the idea of handing them out to people.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
And everyone was wearing them as.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
We walked from our hotel to the Friday night party
three blocks away. And it was great because I knew
who was in the group, but I didn't know who
was standing next to me at any particular time anyway.
But yeah, I at the end of the party, I
handed the mask back to Mauricio and he's like, no, Patricia,
this is this is yours, man, this is a gift.

(01:57):
So yeah, Mauricio and his wife Jemma are lazy, two
of my favorite people in the world. I know Debro
loves both of them. I love them just great people. Yeah,
so I hope they're doing well. Thank you for the mask, Mauricio.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Shouts to Mauricio shouts to Devro for making excuses and
not doing a costume. Shouts everybody for enjoying Halloween. Here,
diro Fitz and I were talking a little bit yesterday
on the show. You got to ask every year, what's
your favorite candy?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Oh geez, I'm more of a sour candy connoisseur, So
I'll just go boring. I'll go like sour patch or
something like that over like a trendy answer.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I can't stand sour candy, I chocolate or nothing.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, well you know what you you you go about
texture and stuff like that too, you know what I mean, Like,
that's a that's a big part of what you know.
I could have just put a bag over my head
and cut some eye holes and been a Dolphins fan.
I thought about doing that, but could have done that,
you know, I didn't want Thimmons to be lit about
the fan base.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
No, that's a good transition. Let's talk a little bit
about that Ravens Dolphins game. Obviously, like the only real
compelling storyline here is Lamar coming back. You know, the
Ravens went healthy, are a much better team than the Dolphins,
and this game largely went how you would have expected,
twenty eight to six. You know, we can probably put
a nail in the coffin of the Mike McDaniel tenure

(03:16):
in Miami. Just everything kind of falling apart there. But
Lamar was back. And this was largely if you told
me he was healthy, the Lamar. I would have expected
one that's not running a lot to try and you know,
save some of those legs, and you know, first game back,
getting back in a rhythm, you know, from the hamstring
injury and everything, but just looking like the great passer
that he is. Two hundred and four yards, four touchdowns,

(03:37):
three of which went to tight ends, two of them
to Mark Andrews. Those were his only two catches in
the game. One to Charlie Kohler. Want to shot Bateman, say,
Flowers doing what he usually does, which is leading the
team in targets and yards but not getting in the
end zone. And Derrick Henry, I would say, looking more
like Derrick Henry. It was a bit of a slog.
There was a couple of long runs later to get

(03:59):
him to that one hundred night ten yards total. He
did not get in the end zone early on. I
felt like he was getting bottled up a lot more.
But Deebro, this is the Ravens offense more or less
that we were expecting.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah, I mean I think it's this looks about like
what you were expecting walking into the year. Now, I
will say, if anybody watched that game, Lamar is clearly
not still one hundred percent, Like he's not. He looked
I'm not saying, a tad bit slow but tentative to run.
He didn't look his usual nimbleness in the pocket, and
he was very good as a passer in the four
passing touchdowns. Like if you started him versus other options

(04:31):
on your roster, you're very happy with that. But I
will say Lamar like, he still not one hundred percent,
but it was a good matchup. He played well. My
other takeaways from this game, man like, I think Henry
looked fine. Like if you bought low on him with
Lamar out now, you're very very happy. And I think
better days are ahead for him in the rushing attack.
The one guy I want to talk about here, and

(04:54):
I saw both sides of the coin going into it.
I ended up ranking him as a top twelve tight
end for the week mark And dude, like, if for
everybody out there, if you sat him, it wasn't wrong.
Process outside of Detroit, like he has done nothing this
entire year. I know he got the two touchdowns and
that carried his day, still only twenty two receiving yards.

(05:15):
So you walk aver from this game feeling probably no
better than you did with him on your roster as
you did entering the game.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yeah, Fitz, what do you think about Andrews? Because I mean, again,
it's one of those things where it's like, yes, you
had a good fantasy day if you started him, but
just three targets, two catches. It was a blowout. But
it wasn't a blowout for the whole game. It wasn't
till the second half of the Ravens pulled away. Could
maybe lean on the run a bit more. I would
still I mean, if I had to pick, like a
binary decision, concerned or not concerned, I would still be

(05:46):
concerned to be a Mark Andrews manager.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
Same touchdown or boss kind of the same thing.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
And we saw like I was more excited about the
usage for Isaiah likely than I was for Mark Andrews.
Isaiah likely has better chance of giving you a big play.
And you know the two touchdowns for Andrews, it would
have only been the one touchdown in the one catch,
had Derrick Henry done what Derrek Henry normally does and
get into the end zone on what was it, third

(06:12):
and short at the goal line got stopped, they threw
to Andrews in the next place. So if Henry scores
that touchdown, you know, Andrews is left with the one
catch and you're like, thank goodness, he scored the one
touchdown to save me from disaster. Instead, it ends up
being a pretty good day for Mark Andrews. It's just, yeah, man,
he's still in the streamer category, but I think, like

(06:33):
I'm gonna probably start ranking Isaiah likely like right behind
Mark Andrews like two spots apart.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Most weeks, Jackson only threw twenty three times, so of
course nobody had like a huge target total. It's just
you know, worth worth noting there. Yeah, Honestly, the Ravens
have been so bad on third and fourth and one
this year that like you say, like, oh, what Derek
Henry normally does and he gets in the end zone
a third one. I don't know how much that's gonna

(07:01):
happen this year. Their offensive line gets no push in
those situations. It's it's been Lamar or other quarterbacks of like,
the offense has not looked good in these short yard
situations this year, so we'll see how that goes. Just quickly,
debra anything on the Miami side or I mean, I
mean again, from the overall perspective, this team is obviously
like a kind of at the last legs of this

(07:22):
era of the Dolphins. But for fantasy purposes, Jalen Waddell
continues to be really helpful when with Tyree kill out,
and obviously Divine h Chan is a good fast player.
But besides that, I.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Mean, so, I'm glad we kicked this to the other
side of the ball here because I want to say,
if everybody to watch that game, this game should have
been competitive. It's Miami Dolphins didn't crap the bed every
time they got in the freaking red zone. If that
didn't happen, this game would have been close. And the
box score Tua didn't play amazing, but he played a
lot better than it's been given credit. And the other thing, dude,

(07:56):
we got to get out of here with like the
refs and the officiating this year, the tripping on all
the Gordon get the hell, dude, I'm sorry, Like, what
are we talking about here the fact that that's not reviewable.
It was a penalty, and you felt the momentum shift
in that game because that wiped off a giant play
like that would have sent you had that play on

(08:17):
top of gen Win Waddle, he had like probably like
one hundred and thirty or one hundred and forty receiving yards.
So for everybody watching that game, this game could have
been much closer than the box score let you believe
based off of if the Dolphins didn't crap the bed
in the red zone. The Ravens are still a defense
that I'm not saying they played bad, but all of

(08:39):
these turnovers and the lack of any kind of continuity
or efficiency or execution in the red zone for the Dolphins,
I think moving forward, the Ravens are still a defense
we can target because the Dolphins could run on them,
they were throwing on them. Jim and Wattle should have
had a much bigger day and this game should have
been much much closer. But yes, like all of the
vibes run the Dolphins are horrible. Every play that went sideways.

(09:03):
Mike McDaniel, his entire vibe on the sideline is terrible.
Like I think the only reason he still has a
job is because it is just a clown show there.
And if you get rid of McDaniel, I think they
just fully go off the rails and everything and like
and it's just a dumpster fire to finish the season.
Although it's not a dumpsterfire, Like it's still a dumpster

(09:25):
fire right now, but it would be a spectacular one
if he is gone. Fits.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
The tripping call was heinous. It was a horrific call.
I would dial back a bit on like that being
the difference in like costing un momentum. It was a
one score game at halftime, and then the Ravens pulled
away in the second half, like well after that play
had already happened, So I don't know how much that
was like the reason for the blood. It was a
horrific call. Of course, the Dolphins messing up continually when

(09:52):
they got inside the thirty yard line, to me, is
more of what made this game not competitive when it
when it could have been if they simply just executed
when they gotten close.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Yeah, they're just they're not a good team. But I
don't think they're quitting on Mike McDaniel. I mean, they
had the blowout lost to the Colts in Week one,
but since then they've only really had their doors blown
off in one game. And I'm not even going to
count that game last night, where yes, it was a
decided loss. The game, the outcome wouldn't have changed had
that tripping penalty not been called, or had they not
strangely overturned that catch by von A Chen that.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Yeah, it's kind of a weird overturn to some.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Pretty poor officiating that went against the Dolphins, but you know,
it would have made it maybe, I don't know, a
ten or thirteen point game at bast rather than the
twenty two point game it was. So but I don't
feel like the team is quitting on Josh or Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
I don't know. I don't think they're throwing in the towel.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
And for fantasy, you just like that they're sort of
a streamlined You're using a chan and waddle and that's it.
But you can use those guys pretty dependably because they're
both really busy.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
These not not that it has a fantasy impact, but
the weak sauce of the running backs coach for the
Dolphins getting in Olie Gordon's ear over the tripping penalty,
like dude, what the hell were you watching?

Speaker 1 (11:14):
I have to assume he didn't see the play and
just then.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Don't comment on it. If you didn't see the play,
then just keep your freaking mouth shut. It's really easy.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
More often than not, though, the player is going to
be like, it wasn't me, I swear, and then you
go back and look and it was him.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
I was right flap back at him. Absolutely, of course.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Was but but more often than not, I can see
why the coach would be mad if he didn't see
the play because, like usually the rest I mean not
that the rest.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
The restaurant rights. It's pretty simple.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
But anyway, quicker binder for everybody that all of our
weekly consensus rankings and tears can be found a fantasypros
dot com slash rankings. There are four teams on by
this week. It's the Browns, the Jets, the Buccaneers, and
the Eagles. Let's get into the Sunday early slate Bears
at Bengals. True or false, Caleb william and the Bears
offense will emphatically bounce back against a terrible Bengals defense.

(12:05):
Fits true.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
I love the setup for Caleb this week. In fact,
I think it's kind of a perfect storm. The Bengals
pass defense is bad. They've allowed the second most passing
touchdowns and third most passing yards. They've given up seven
point eight yards per pass attempt, third highest mark in
the league, and their pass defense ranks thirty first in DVA,
which is actually better than their run defense, which is

(12:27):
thirty second. That has all been with Trey Hendrickson, their
best defensive player by far, one of the better edge
rushers in the league. Hendrickson is a hip injury hasn't
been practicing this week. Even with Trey Hendrickson, the Bengals
pass rush has the third lowest pressure rate in the league.
The Bengals can't generate a pass rush. Caleb could just
pick his teeth with the Cincinnati defense. And here's the

(12:50):
cherry on top orm. The Bears are without their two
best cornerbacks, Jalen Johnson and Kyler Gordon, both on injured reserve.
Having your best cornerbacks when you're going again at Jamar
Chason t Higgins suboptimal. So if Joe Flacco's sprain day
c joint doesn't throw too much of a wrench into
the Bengals passing game, the Bengals should be able to

(13:10):
shred the Bears pass defense and make Caleb Williams have
to stomp the accelerator to try to keep up. So
this could be a really interesting shootout type of game.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Debro, you have been among the more vocal Caleb Williams,
I would say hater, but faders since he came into
the NFL. Do you see this as an opportunity for
him in this offense to bounce back just given for
no other reason than the matchup that they have in
front of them.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
I think the matchup, and I wrote this up in
the primer it can be a one week cologne to
kind of gloss over the play of Caleb Williams. I
don't like and I love how you phrase this worm
will it emphatically bounce back? I don't see emphatically. I
think the Bears offense will be much better because of
just who they're going against. But this also could be

(13:55):
a really good opportunity, like they could just run the
everloving crap out of the ball, Like they have two
guys they can lean on in the ground game. Swift
has been good. We'll see if he plays. I know
he's on the injury report and back to back DMPs.
But I'm still expecting him to suit up. But this
could be a game where, yeah, like the Bears defense
is horrible, like and they're injured, and the Bengals can

(14:16):
put up points if Joe Flacco's shoulder, you know, complies,
or if Jake Browning can throw an accurate ball. I
know that's a lot of ifs, but I think this
game can be a shootout. It can be close if
I'm Ben Johnson, like, yeah, you let Caleb air it
out to an extent, but I'm running the ball. I
want to strangle the clock in this one too, because
the Bengals can put up points and you don't have

(14:37):
the defense consider and stop them from doing that. So
I think this offense is going to look better just
by virtue of who they're playing. But honestly, like, out
of this entire game, like I think that Kyle Manangai,
my biggest takeaway is Kyle Manonguay is absolutely flexworthy. Both
the actual running backs in this game, samajp Around and
Kya Maanongui. Depending on your options, you could run on

(15:00):
both these defenses. You can put them in flex plays,
as flex plays and strong flex plays this week, both
those guys are getting almost equal shares at the backfields.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
I put that word emphatically in there on purpose because
I think everybody would agree, like they're going to bounce back.
But to what degree it happens, let me ask you
on Swift. So like I in a Guillotine league, which
by the way, I asked about my Guillotine League a lot,
not because like you know, I want them to help me,
but although that is nice, but because Gulleteene league, like
you need to get it right that week, and so
it's that added kind of like desperation and emphasis on

(15:31):
getting it right in the moment I think is more
helpful for thinking about these week to week starts decisions,
because like in other leagues, it's like, okay, if you
get it wrong, it's like tends to be not the
end of the world, especially earlier in the season. So
at any rate, in my Guillotine league, Debro, you just said,
you know, talking about DeAndrea Swift, assuming he plays, would
you rather start him or somebody like Nico Collins going
up against Denver but without Pats or Tan Swift.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Swift not even close, like not even close. I don't
want to depend on CJ. Shroud versus the Denver secondary
even without certain.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Okay, yeah, if Sirtam was playing like I wouldn't have
even brought it up, but I wanted to ask with
that with that big piece.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Are are you the same mind? FITZI Swift? Are you
going to Yeah?

Speaker 4 (16:09):
I think he's a little safer. I'm not quite as
emphatic about it as you are, Debro, but I probably
would play Swift.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Swift is a top twelve running back in expert consensus
rankings this week. I mean he's already twelve and a
half point PPR, so the rankers are I mean, obviously
assuming he plays again. It's a bit of a question.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Who do you all think wins this game?

Speaker 1 (16:27):
By the way, Like, I think the Bengals, I think
the I think the Bears win.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
I like the Bengals as home does.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Yeah, I like the Bengals here.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
I think the Bears just had a bad day last week,
and they had been on a four game winning street
before then. The Bengals defense is terrible. Flacco, you know,
had some iffiness this week with the shoulder. Like, I
just think the Bears win this game. I don't know
how much they win by, but I think they win.
Let's go to Vikings at Lions, Debro, Your boy JJ
McCarthy is back. What are your expectations for the Vikings

(16:59):
offense with a quarterback?

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Dude, I'm worried about JJ in this one. And look,
this is not so much I mean it's a JJ
take and what kind of quarterback player are we gonna get? Dude?
He is about to get put through the freaking gauntlet.
Like I'm glad that he's fully healthy. He's gonna need
every bit of his mobility behind what is turned into
just I mean, honestly, you can make a case for

(17:21):
this is a bottom five offensive line like they're playing
bad man like. Minnesota since week four is allowed the
thirteenth highest pressure rate. Good luck against Detroit, who since
week four they have the second best pressure rate. Aid
Hutchinson is going to be standing over JJ for a
decent part of this game. Detroit secondary has been playing well.
I mean, I don't want to play JJ like, I mean,

(17:42):
if you're in superflex, fine depending on your options, but
low end QB two like it's this is definitely going
to be like a really good litmus test for not
a not a good matchup anyway, you freaking slice it,
and Koc is gonna actually have to look like Koc
of yester year, Like he's had some suspect moments this year. Man.

(18:04):
So I'm really worried about JJ.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
No doubt before I toss the fits deebro just JJ
McCarthy's QB twenty two too high, too low, just right
in the rankings.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
It's it's that's about right. I mean, I think like
there's a lot of like low d QB two options
that I'm just not in love with this week with
bad matchups. I got to see where I've got him
in QB twenty two as well, Like I mean, I've
got him ahead of like Michael Pennix. I might move
Geno Smith ahead of him just considering how bad the
Jaguars are. But I mean that's that's about the realm

(18:32):
JJ's living in right now. It's not pretty man, Fits.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
What are your expectations this week?

Speaker 5 (18:38):
Not great?

Speaker 4 (18:39):
I've got met QB twenty four. I think Debro focused
on the right thing the offensive line, so they don't
have center Ryan Kelly, who's still out with a concussion.
I'm not sure if he's eligible to come back this
week or next week. But I haven't seen anything about
the possibility of Kelly playing this week, so I assume
he's out. And then both of the tackles, Christian Darisa

(19:01):
on the left, Brian O'Neal on the right, they're both
dealing with knee injuries.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
Now.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Darrisaw like he's the key guy. He didn't practice or
did practice on Wednesday, didn't practice on Thursday, but Thursday
might have just been a maintenance day for a guy
who's you know, had a torn ACL and mcl and
Brian O'Neil has been getting inlimited practices, so it seems
like they're both gonna play, but we don't know how effectively.

Speaker 5 (19:25):
You know, the Lion's.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Secondary has been injury riddled, but it's getting a little
healthy healthier. I know they get Terry and Arnold back
this week.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
I'd love to tell you that we are going to
see the JJ McCarthy who was running around and ripping
some amazing throws in the second half of that come
from behind win against the Bears in Week one, and
not the JJ McCarthy who threw two interceptions, fumbled three times,
and took six sacks against the Falcons in week two,
but who knows.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
What do you think Jordan Addison fits? What do you
think about him for this week? Because we have never
seen him on the field with JJ McCarthy before.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Right, really good player.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
So like I've got him ranked as I want to say,
a mid range wide receiver three. I think I've got
him maybe around thirty.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
I got him at thirty yeah, yeah, right now.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
I've got him. I've got him at twenty six. Yeah,
because that's too high. I got to move him below
Deebo and Wandell. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
So I mean, like, I think you could play him
just because he's good, just like bad on the good player.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
But I wouldn't feel wildly confident about him.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
By the way, while we were talking, we already talked
about the Dolphins game. Of course, Chris Greer their GM
is out a mutual party according to Ian Rappaport, So
he's been there a very very long time. Wow, they
got some pieces is gone.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
But we don't have any news on McDaniel.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Nothing wow that I see here. Yeah. Yeah, no other
changes to the coaching staff as of now.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Chris cruaid, I'm outy, Chris. Chris greb as gets told
Ross I'm outy after last night.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
He's been there a long time. I wonder what this
means for trading some of those defensive players that might
be of interest to folks. So all right, let's go
to Panthers at Packers. Josh Jacobs did not do much
on the ground against Pittsburgh, though of course he did
have the touchdown to save his fantasy day. Now he
faces a Carolina defense that had been looking improved against
the rush, but was just run all over last week

(21:24):
by James Cook, one of the better running back for
Forbces we've seen this season by any individual player in
that game against the Panthers run defense. So Fitz will
start with you on this one. Will this be more
of a return to Green Bay running the ball or
are we in for another big day from the Packers
passing attack.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
I mean, it's probably going to be balanced early and
then maybe the Packers start to lean on the run
if they start to build a big lead that the
spread suggests they're going to build. But the Packers is
almost a two touchdown favorite.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
So Josh Jacobs is.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Playing through a calf issue and he's only had thirteen
carries in each of the Packers last two games. His
snap shares the last two games fifty five percent and
fifty three percent, and in every other game Josh Jacobs
snapshares have ranged from sixty five percent to eighty eight percent.
So Packers have been giving Emmanuel Wilson a little more
run and he's actually done pretty well. Eleven carries for

(22:15):
sixty one yards against the Steelers last week.

Speaker 5 (22:19):
If the Packers build.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
A big lead, maybe they they let Wilson and Chris
Brooks salt the game away late. So I've I've Jacobs
ranked RB seven, which is right on consensus. He's not
a guy really ever want to fade, considering how Matt
Lafleur just force feeds him at the goal line. He
has nine rushing touchdowns. Jacobs is still one of the
few guys who's in Jonathan Taylor's area code in the

(22:41):
touchdown category. I just think Matt Lafleur always wants to
run the ball. Packers are the fourth run heaviest team
in the league, although they're only eighteenth and pass right
over expected like minus one point one percent, so they're
only throwing slightly less than a normal rate. But yeah,
Josh Jacobs, when will it not be a good environment
for him pretty much always.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
De Bro, you can answer the question, but I want
to frame it a sell a different way. If I
force you to pick one of these two players too
that you have to rank above consensus, would rather be
Josh Jacobs or Jordan Love?

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Oh? I think Jordan Love only because yeah, the Panthers
past events has relented it since week four. And to
Fitz's point, this all comes down to, and I think
what your thoughts are on Jordan Love is can the
Carolina Panthers push the Packers offense. If they can't, they're
gonna turtle, They're gonna run the ball. It's gonna be gross. Whatever.

(23:37):
You know, you're gonna see a lot of Jacobs, whether
inefficient or not. Probably a good bit of Manuelilson. I
kind of lean that if and this is a giant
giant if if Carolina can keep Bryce on the move
and keep him clean. And again I said, this is
a giant if the Packers have actually been a pretty
decent pass funnel. Now part of this is they get

(23:58):
up on teams and then their throw to come back,
but their pass defense is giving up a decent amount
of production. Like since week four, we're talking about a
pass defense. It's given up the tenth most passing yards
per game, the sixth highest passer rating, and the second
highest CPOE. So if Bryce can take advantage of that
which has been like a pass defenses that has taken

(24:19):
a small step back. Now Micah Parsons is going to
play a huge role in that, then yes, Carolina could
push them and we could see more Jordan love. So
Jacobs is not a guy like Pat talked about, I'm
ever gonna fade. But if you were to tell me,
like he has a good game, but not an amazing game,
And like there's guys that like Kyron has a better game,

(24:40):
James Cook has a better game than him, Kamani Vedell,
like any one of these guys that are a good
matchups or high totals and stuff have a better game
than Josh Jacobs. I won't be necessarily surprised.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Next game here, guys, Bronco's at Texans. Bo Nicks is
the number one quarterback in Fantasy across the past two
weeks by a decent margin. Where are you ranking him
this week against a SUPERB Texans defense? And what about RJ. Harvey?
Harvey who is coming off of a three touchdown game,
but it's one in which he still only got half
the touches. JK. Dobbins did debro starting with.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
You, I've got Bodix at QB eighteen. He has been
so matchup sensitive over the last I mean basically the
entire season. So do I want to rush out there
to play bow Knicks? Despite the hot streak against Houston
since Week four, they're allowing the second febus yards per
attempt and CPO in the lowest passing yards per game
and the lowest success rate per dropback. Heck, no, man,

(26:46):
no way. And do I want to play RJ. Harvey
coming off a three touchdown game which he turned almost
half of his touches because he got eight touches into touchdowns. No,
it's just Sean Payton is still Sean paytoning He played
twenty seven percent of the snaps it like it's awesome,
and I would love to sit here and be dancing,
you know, into perpetuity about RJ. Harvey. But again, he's

(27:06):
just not getting enough volume. It's just a fact. So
I mean, Stebridge, Sorry, I was gonna go ahead, Warm,
I was gonna.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
I was just gonna ask if you like the under
in this game, because you know, yeah, but not when
I do astraight the lines at forty and a half
on hardway, I like the under.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
I really like the under. And I've got RJ. Harvey
because I know this is part of your question too
at RB thirty seven, right now.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Okay, fits, what what do you think Bonix? I believe
is QB eighteen in consensus rankings, which is aligned with
with what Debro said, and Harvey I think is about
RB thirty five. If I remember correctly. Do those number
sound right? Are you? Also? Kind of even though it's
the lowest total of the week, leaning towards the under.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
I'm leaning towards the under. I'm surprised it went from
thirty nine and a half up. I thought it might
go down a little. So yeah, anything under forty I love.
I've nicked ranked QB nineteen and I think I'm also
at thirty seven for Harvey, so a little below census. Look, man,
we know this two week run for Bonicks has been
pretty fluky like. He was playing poorly for most of

(28:06):
that game against the Giants two weeks ago. He stepped
on the gas light because they were trailing big and
had a couple of touchdown runs in that game, and
then last week he got to face the Dallas defense,
which pretty much turns every quarterback into Tom Brady. So
it's not going to be as easy against the Texans.
They're giving up eleven and a half Fantasy points per
game to quarterbacks, fewest in the league. They've got the

(28:28):
lowest opponent passer rating in the league by far. They've
allowed the second lowest completion percentage only fifty eight percent.
They've allowed the third fewest yards per a tempt six
point three. So yeah, not really excited about Nicks. And
as for our J Harvey, I'm just I'm glad the
touchdowns are keeping him on the radar, but you just
can't comfortably start him in fantasy. He's played under thirty

(28:49):
percent of Denver's offensive snaps in four straight games, and
he has somehow scored four touchdowns the last two weeks
on fourteen touches. It's a really nice parlor trick, but
not the sort of product you can count on.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
Fits.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
I want to ask you because I asked Debro about
like DeAndre Swift. First, Nico Collins? Where are you ranking
Nico Collins this week? This wasn't one of the questions
I prepped you for. But he you know again, no
Pats or Tan, but this offense just against that Broncos
pass rush, He's wide receiver seventeen in ECR.

Speaker 5 (29:16):
Wide receiver seventeen is where I have him too.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Okay, wide receiver eighteen for me. Okay, so you guys
are basically right there. Let's let's go to Falcons at Patriots.
We can go kind of quick on this one, just
because it's a player that has burnt a lot of
people this season, but maybe some signs of life from
Trayvon Henderson this last week. Possibly, or if we're being
optimistic here, Ramondre Stevenson missed practice on Wednesday. I forgot
to check again to see.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
When you spid Thursday.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Also, okay, I thought he might have, but I hadn't
written it down. So Stevenson not having practice yet it's
Friday morning. Be sure to check his status later in
the day. But if we think that Ramadre is limited
or maybe even missing this game, Debro, what's your interest
level in Henderson this week?

Speaker 2 (29:55):
I mean a lot. I think I'm probably gonna bump
him up to like an RB two. I will say
to everybody, Look, we can all run away from it.
People gonna hate it. You're still going to see Zerel Jennings.
If Ormandre is out, Terrell Jennings is still going to
get work. And so if you're in deeper leagues, you
need to pick him up. And I'm not saying that
Travon Henderson will not lead the backfield. I'm not saying
that we shouldn't believe in him and stuff. But even

(30:16):
last week's big breakout game, Travion Henderson still continued the
same things that we've been seeing for the entirety of
the season. He had six yards before contact per attempt
last week. He's still only forced one misstackle, so ten
percent mistackle rate and one point five yards of to
contact per attempt. So it was encouraging. But if you

(30:38):
look underneath the surface and you popped the hood for
a second, he's still not breaking tackles, and so I
don't know what's going to change on that. Like I'm
I want to be hopeful about it, but again it's
Mike Rabel, and I think we should still have Well, the.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
Travian fumbled last week, which means he's gonna get twenty
carries this week.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Well, yeah, I've we're following the Rabel alf. You know
that fumble wasn't his faultbody else's fault. You know we
use that for ramondre least.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Let me ask you this, Steve ro because he said
you'd move him up to maybe even like an RB
two range if or Andre's out. If Romandre plays but
has been limited, all weigain by the way the fantasy
pros are they playing tool gives him a twenty two
percent chance to play Romondre Stevenson, so keep an eye
on that. Obviously, more news will come out, maybe even
by the time you're listening to this. But if he
does play but has been limited all week, how high
would you move Henderson? Because Henderson right now is RB

(31:24):
thirty eight, so that's a pretty wide gap from where
he is in ECR to where you would consider ranking him.
If rom Andre's out, I mean I.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Have him somewhere in like the low end, probably like
high end RB three range, just because Vrabel doesn't want
to give him a highest snap count. So if Andre
is healthy enough to play, I think at best you're
probably looking at like a fifty to fifty split, or
maybe we see three backs get into the mix. Maybe
it's Remandre, Turel Jennings, and Treveon Henderson. As much as
people don't want to see that, I think it's a possibility.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Fit's what do you think about Henderson this week?

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Right now, I've got him at a wide receiver thirty five.
If we're recording this on Friday morning. If Ramandra Stevenson
doesn't practice today, he's not gonna play, and I would
propel Traveon Henderson up to seventeenth. I would have him
right behind Jalen Warren, right ahead of the slumping Travis
Etn and ahead of JK. Dobbins and deebro like ten

(32:19):
carries last week for Traveon Henderson, Like, I don't really
care what the missed tackles forced in yards after contact
per carrys and a small sample.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Size like that.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
What had me excited last week was that Josh McDaniels
finally gave Henderson some outside runs rather than just slamming
him in between the tackles and the outside stuff. That
is Traveon's bread and butter. So more of that, please,
That's what had me excited. I don't really care about
how many missed tackles.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
He for, well, I mean that's fine, but over fifty three,
over fifty three carries, his numbers are still terrible over
the whole season.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
Fits he Yeah, it's still fifty three is a pretty
small sample size, dude, And we get.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Is it still bad or are we gonna like I
believe it?

Speaker 4 (33:01):
But again again, we're just we've been seeing a lot
of inside runs with Henderson and that, like, cranking tackles
on inside runs is not really his thing, man, Like
hopefully they'll tailor the game plan if they know Remandre
is gonna be out.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
I mean, I hope. So I'm just saying I don't
have a lot of faith, and I'm saying that Traveon
hasn't played good this year. That's all.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
Let me ask you this fits in transition to our
next game here forty nine Ers at Giants, because I
want to ask about Tyro and Tracy. He's RB sixteen
in consensus rankings in his first game since Camp Scataboo's
season ending injury. So based on how high you would
move Trayvon Henderson, would you would he move him ahead
of Tracy or are they is Tracy somebody that still
would be ahead of Henderson for you?

Speaker 4 (33:41):
No, I've got Tracy at fifteen, so I've got it
would be if remondres out, it would be Tracy at fifteen,
Warren Jalen Warren at sixteen, and Traveon Henderson seventeen. So yeah,
I mean like Tracy was the Giants leadback in twenty
twenty four from Week five on, and he ever which
thirteen point two PPR points per game, which was something

(34:02):
like RB twenty one in Fantasy points per game. I
think we see something like that again, but maybe with
slightly heavier usage, since the Giants don't have Molik neighbors
anymore like they did last year. In the four games
before Cam Skadubu got hurt, he was averaging twenty two
touches a game. So I think Tracy is probably gonna
land somewhere in RB two territory the rest of the way,

(34:24):
but maybe with a little more ceiling than he had
last year, because I think they need him a little
more deeper.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
What do you think is Tyrone Tracy at RB sixteen
too high, too low, or just right?

Speaker 2 (34:34):
It's about just right. I've got him a shade above that.
I've got him at RB fourteen. And this comes down to,
like I pat's right, Like I think he's gonna probably
flirt with twenty opportunities between targets and carries and everything,
and the same. I still think this is a good
matchup for the Giants offense just in general, like the
forty nine ers have not been a fantastic defense. They're

(34:56):
not pressure in the quarterback, they're vulnerable versus slot wide receivers.
Their run defense is pretty pedestrian, man like. Since Week four,
we're discussing a run defense, It's given up the ninth
highest yards of the contact per attempt and the thirteenth
highest yards per carry two zone runs, which is comprised
sixty two percent of Tracy's rushing volume to this point.

(35:16):
So Tracy is gonna have twenty opportunities. He's a mid
range RB two, and honestly, I won't be surprised if
be inured he finishes this week as a low end
RB one. If he gets twenty opportunities, it's an average
run defense and he scores once. That's possible this week.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
What about rest of the season, because Fitz said something
like an RB two would be kind of his expectation
going forward. Is that about what you expect Debro rest
of season with Scataboo out, Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Mean rest of the season. I've got Tracy at RB
twenty like I think him him Ricodoudle, Chase Brown. It's
kind of an interesting conversation. That's about the area code
I think he lives in.

Next game here, guys, Colts at Steelers fits will start
with you here? Would you rather start DK Metcalf or
Michael Pittman Junior? In this game? They are ranked close
together in ECR at least they were when I put

(36:39):
this question together. Let me check to se where they
are now. Yep, they're back to back Wide receiver fifteen
and wide receiver sixteen in half point Expert Consensus Rankings scoring.
DK Metcalf or Michael Pittman Jr.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
I have Pittman Wide receiver twelve and Metcalf Wide receiver thirteen.
So both both defenses stink against perimeter receivers. Slight edge
to the guy in the better offense Pittman, Debro, I've.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Got I've got a wider gap, I've got white, Michael
Pittman a wide receiver ten, and I've got DK at
wide receiver seventeen. I just think the Colts role in
this game, I don't I don't understand why they're only
favored by three points Michael Pittman.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
The other thing is somebody's looking ahead to my second question.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Oh dude, I was trying to set you up here,
but the big point for me is I think we're
not giving enough respect for Michael Pittman too. I pose
this question out on Twitch in our streams earlier this
week and on YouTube live streams, and I kept asking people,
where do you think Michael Pittman Junior is ranked this
year in Fantasy points per game? Dude? He's wide receiver ten.

(37:44):
Like Daniel Jones is playing good. The Steelers secondary is
dog water since Week four. They're giving up the second
most receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers. Pittman's
gonna eat in this game, dude. So Like it's not
that I hate DK, but like Aaron Rodgers is Aaron
Rodgers right now? Like he's very limited as a quarterback.

(38:04):
It's all short area opportunities for DK. Colt secondary is
not good. I'm not saying that they are, but if
you were to tell me, like which guy I want
to start, it's symphatically Pittman over DK for me.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
So the second question I had in this game is explained,
like I'm five, why the Colts aren't a bet of
the year level smash at minus three against Pittsburgh, Like
it is hollowekends. So maybe Daniel Jones turns back into
a pumpkin. I don't know. I just don't see any
other way where the Steelers are going to stop this offense.
Their defense has been horrible all year, and this has
been a historically great offense. So we're halfway through the season,

(38:40):
like again a barring Daniel Jones taking a huge step
back there, you have to give some legitimately legitimacy to
this offense at this point. Also, at the time I
put together this question, this is one of five games
with a total over fifty this week, which is a lot.
I think that might have dropped to now it's only
four games, but still that's a lot, you know, to
be at that at that level for this So they're

(39:00):
expecting high scoring. I just I don't get how the
Colts are gonna not win this game by a touchdown plus,
let alone just a field goal fits.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
Yeah, Worm, you are an AFC North fan, You of
all people should know what it's been like with the
Pittsburgh Steelers in the post Ben Roethlisberger era. They routinely
play up or play down to the level of their competition.
They win games they aren't supposed to win, and they
lose games they aren't supposed to lose. And that has
been the Mike Tomlin Steelers for the last what seven

(39:30):
eight years. Like, I agree that it seems like the
coult should roll in this game, but I have a
personal betting policy when a team that's somewhere between decent
to good, which like I still consider the Steelers decent,
if they lose a home game and then have another
home game the following week, I'm not betting against that team.
Like it seems like when a team lays an egg

(39:52):
at home then stays at home for their next game,
they come out ticked off and play a good game.
And I will sometimes try to target spots like that
case in point the Vikings earlier this year, they got
humiliated by the Falcons at home in Week two on
Sunday Night Football. The next week they hosted the Jake
Browning led Bengals, and I smashed the Vikings in that game,
and they just completely smoked the Bengals. So I'm not

(40:14):
gonna bet the Steelers this week because I do think
the Colts are the far better team. But I'm not
betting against the Steelers in the spot either. I'm in
a couple of pools where I have to pick every
game against the spread, and I have split my two
bets on this game in those two polls.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
That's that's all fair. I don't have a lot to
push back on you against it, except to say that
I think the difference between the Steelers game and the
Steelers that have we've typically seen a under Tomlin is
that this defense is terrible, and like that defense has
kind of led them to some of these sloppy, like
surprising closer games and you would support you expect in
the past. I just this Colts offense and this Colt

(40:52):
Steelers defense in particular, going head to head, I do
not see how this comes out, Like I don't see
how the Colts aren't scoring thirty five points in this game.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
Bro, I don't see how you're stopping the Colts. Whether
it's JT run on the ball, whether it's Pittman, whether
it's Dude, we've been waiting, all right. I don't want
to forecast, but I'm just gonna say we have been
waiting for it to percol laid up to the surface.
We have not gotten a Tyler Warren explosion game. Dude.
This is it, Like, this is the matchup versus the Steelers.

(41:21):
We just saw what Tucker Craft did and they've been
terrible versus tight ends the entire freaking season. This could
be the blow up game for Taal the warn.

Speaker 4 (41:28):
Can I just add one last thing? So I'm looking
at the Massy Peabody Power ratings, which their ratings are
a pretty good way to like indicate what the point
spread should be. They have the Colts basically three points
better than the Steelers on a neutral field.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
And that's really surprising.

Speaker 4 (41:46):
If home field is worth two points, that's saying the
cult should maybe be favored by one and you're actually
getting betting value with the Steelers.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
I'll surprise that. Maybe I'm just a square, but I'll
be betting on the Colts.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
I'll be betting on the Colts to cover. Maybe I'm wrong,
and I'm probably.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
I'm also hopeful that the Colts went for selfish reasons.
So let's go to the last game in the early
slate here, Chargers at Titans. Fits who is the toughest
player to rank in this matchup?

Speaker 4 (42:12):
I actually thought the Chargers were pretty easy to rank,
and then as far as the Titans, like cam Ward
is always slotting in add or near the bottom of
the quarterback rankings, Tony Tollard and TYJ. Spears are pretty
close to each other in running back three range for me,
the toughest player to rank in this range with Schamer Dka.

Speaker 5 (42:30):
Over the last two weeks.

Speaker 4 (42:31):
DK he had four catches seventy yards and a touchdown
against the Patriots, then seven catches for ninety three yards
against the Colts last week. Wide receiver eleven in PPR
scoring over the last two weeks, and he might be
becoming a thing like I don't want to be slow
on the draw like I was with Aronde gadst in
the second and Calvin Ridley is probably going to miss

(42:51):
a third straight game with a hamstring injury, So there
is opportunity for DK.

Speaker 5 (42:56):
On the other hand, he's in a pretty bad offense.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
So right now I've got him at wide receiver forty five,
but I'm thinking of maybe like sliding them up all
the way in too the top forty Like I actually
saw DK play. He was at Wisconsin for most of
his college career before he transferred to Florida for the end.
He was a really exceptional kick returner, and I thought
they were maybe that was sort of going to be

(43:19):
his primary NFL role, Like he was good as a receiver,
but just good, not exceptional. I thought maybe fourth or
fifth receiver kick return specialist. But I think I was
wrong about that, and I totally missed the boat on
him in Dynasty. Didn't get him in any rookie drafts,
even though he was routinely available, like in the fourth
or fifth round. So yeah, maybe smir DK is becoming

(43:44):
a thing.

Speaker 1 (43:46):
Debra, Who was tough for you to rank in this matchup?
And I feel somewhat validated by this question because I
stared at this matchup for a while and I couldn't
think of a good angle to ask about, So I
was like, well, let me just ask who was tough
for these guys to rank, and then fitz starts off with, well,
it's pretty easy to rank all these guys and these
so I've got we were kind of on a similar
page here for you, Debro. Is there anybody that was
your questioning or you know, kind of having a little

(44:06):
bit of difficulty in trying to rank.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
I love I love Fitzy's call out a DK like.
I was kind of back and forth on where I was.
Now I came in higher than FITZI I bumped him
up to the wide receiver thirty seven. I like the
matchup a ton. I like what he's done over the
last two weeks. The guy for me was Quentin Johnston,
and that's just it's I give the there's a possibility
where he burns me, and that's where I don't know

(44:28):
where to rank him at. Like, but if you look
at his usage over the last few weeks and you
look at the coverage matchup, I mean, I don't think
he's fully healthy. And I don't want to be very
clear about that. I've said that I take chargers injury
reports with an absolute grain assault. I don't believe half
of what they list there. Quintin Johnston since the hamstring injuries.

(44:49):
Since return of the lineup in Week seven, he has
only a six point three percent target Chare you look
at the chasm between that and his early season usage,
it's monsters, So like, I don't think he's really healthy.
The other part about this is the coverage matchup is
terrible for him, Like, even when he has been healthy,
he's not who they go to versus two high coverage

(45:10):
in Tennessee as bad of a secondary as they are
their third highest and too high rate. But the thing
that leaves the light on for me, like Quentin Johnston,
if I rank him low and I kind of bury
him because I don't think he's healthy, coverage matchup doesn't
go his way. The other part is Tennessee Titans, their
secondary is god awful and they're bad versus deep passing.
So it's like QJ can get there on two targets

(45:32):
down the field this week, But right now I've got
him at I've got him at wide receiver thirty eight,
and I'm like, is it too low? Am I crazy?
I feel like I put him at this spot in
the rankings, then he's gonna go off for two long
touchdowns and I'm gonna look like a fool. So I
don't know what to do with QJ. But in a
lot of leagues, if I had him, I would be
sitting him.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
Well, let me just ask you this, Steve bro on
Quentin Johnston, like, do you think it's health or do
you think like that first month is now looking like
a real outlier compared to the rest of his career
And maybe we were saying, oh, this is the breakout
and he's figured it out a little too quickly. I'm
not saying that. That's the opinion I have, and I'm
curious if you're worried about that or I'm not.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
Worried about that, because I think what we saw at
the beginning of the season was real. And the other
thing about it is you look at the coverage matchups
and stuff like, I think the lad was pressing and
wasn't playing amazing. I think that Lad, like his reascension
and re establishment in this offense is real as well.
But I think we're seeing QJ fall to the wayside.
I think a lot of it is coverage. Matchups have

(46:33):
been a lot of too high over the last few games,
and he's not healthy, so I think that's a lot
of it. So people want to buy low on QJ.
That's fine. You know it's still going to be a
mess moving forward.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
So let's go to the late afternoon slate here, Saints
at Rams. I think we can spend very little time
on this one. This one hasn't even bigger spread than
Packers Panthers does. Really, the main question, the only interesting
angle here to me is how are you ranking Saints
players in Tyler Schuck's first career start.

Speaker 5 (46:59):
Fits really no differently.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
I've got a Lave wide receiver twenty Shaheed wide receiver
thirty seven, Jwan Johnson tight end twenty eight, and I
don't want to play Alvin Kamara anymore RB twenty six.
Like he has thirty one or fewer rushing yards in
four straight games, one touchdown, he hasn't scored a touchdown
since Week one, and he's had one game with more
than thirty or more receiving yards. So I think Shuck

(47:24):
is a more aggressive downfield thrower than Rattler was. And
it seemed like Spencer Ratler was a little more conscientious
about avoiding negative plays than Chuck is, like Saxon interception,
and Rattler did do a good job of like mistake avoidance.
Shuck seems like a little more of a swashbuckler, which
could be good or bad. Like I think it nets
out close to even quarterbacks who throw aggressively downfield. Generally

(47:47):
that's good for the pass catchers. But then again, Saxon
interceptions are drive killers and take snaps and targets away
from our pass catchers. So I'm seeing this as kind
of a push.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
De Bro, You're the biggest Tyler Schuck fan.

Speaker 5 (48:00):
I know.

Speaker 2 (48:06):
I love that you set that up that way. Oh
my gosh, I mean I'm dropping the guys. You guys, dude.

Speaker 1 (48:13):
Saints all last year you were like, suck for Shuck.
This is should be the first pick in the draft.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Gosh, man, what in the shuck are we doing here?
I just I don't understand what Rattler did to lose
the job. Like, I'm not saying he's played well or amazing,
but he hasn't played.

Speaker 1 (48:27):
I can tell you what he did. He got drafted
in the fifth round. That's it. If they were drafted.
Have you seen draft capital, Like, I don't think Ratler
did anything.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Believe I just, dude, Tyler shuck. No, I just did
to Fitzy's point. Yeah, he's he's a gun slinger, but
he's got a pop gun he's got he's shooting blanks, dude. Like,
I know, I think he's gonna sit here and try
to pull some crazy moves out of his bag. But
I'm I'm lower on the guys. One, it's the matchup,
but two, Yeah, like, I just don't know. I mean
last week, and I know it's a small sample. I

(48:56):
know it's his first game. I know all this stuff.
This guy had an accurate thrower rate of forty three percent.
He had a catchable target rate of sixty five percent. Like,
those things are incredibly concerning because if you can't even
deliver catchable targets with the guys, they can't catch the ball,
they can't score Fantasy points. So, you know, versus consensus,

(49:17):
I don't know where I'm falling on these guys because
I haven't looked at ECR yet. But Chris Olive, I've
got at wide receiver twenty eight. I've got rashieti heat
a wide receiver forty two.

Speaker 1 (49:27):
I'll plull up the consensus here quickly. Yeah, Alave is okay, Yeah,
Alave's wide receiver twenty in ECRT twenty. It's wide receiver
twenty and ECR heat is thirty seven twenty.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
That's crazy because that's a wide receiver two. I no,
I can't do that. I can't do that.

Try it free for one month. Now available on iOS

(50:07):
was about rookie receivers getting the post by bump. Expectations
for Travis Hunter. He's coming off the best game of
his career right before the bye week fourteen targets, eight catches,
one hundred one yards and a touchdown. We are expectations
for this week and the rest of the season. And
then ten minutes before we started recording, he was placed
on ir so he will miss at least four games.
He had a knee injury suffered at practice. I believe
it was on Thursday. He suffered that knee injury, so

(50:29):
this is a huge bummer. Having said that, we have
to obviously pivot the conversation here because it's not even
like we can't just ask about this week. This is
four games, is week nine, ten, eleven, twelve, Week thirteen
is the earliest he can be back, So and maybe
by the time you're listening to this, it'll be more
information about the length of this recovery and what they
expect there. But with Travis Hunter not there deeper, I'll

(50:50):
start with you, any interest in bumping up Brian Thomas
Junior despite his struggles this year? Yep, is Parker Washington
the guy, like, what are you doing with this offense
without Travis Hunter?

Speaker 2 (50:59):
I'm bumping up BTCH, and I think this is a
good spot for him to get right. Like since Week four,
the Raiders secondary has given up the eighth most PPR
points per target to promoter wide receivers in the ninth
most receiving yards per game. I'm not scared about any
of their corners. That run defense has actually been much
improved of the last few games, so I don't think
Travis et is gonna have a lot of room to
rumble in this, so BTJ, I do think we're gonna

(51:21):
get a bounce back game with Hunter now hitting the ir.

Speaker 1 (51:25):
Fits.

Speaker 5 (51:26):
Yeah, where are you going to put him? Debra O?
Good question, Like I could see high end wide receiver two.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
He's wide receiver nineteen right now. But of course this
hasn't you know, started to fully update from wide receiver.

Speaker 2 (51:39):
I'm fitsy live right now. I'm bumping him from wide
receiver twenty to wide receiver fifteen.

Speaker 5 (51:45):
Yeah, I'm gonna put him at thirteen.

Speaker 4 (51:46):
Yeah, I think it's about right in between Pittman and Metcalf.

Speaker 5 (51:52):
I don't know, do we.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
Is Parker Washington a thing or is it like Dmy
Brown who's gonna like benefit too.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
I think probably Parker just because he's been targeted more.
But I'm gonna have to dive back into it for
the primer. So my first initially would be Parker Washington
because the Army's kind of been a ghost over the
last few weeks. But I could be wrong after go
back to look it up.

Speaker 4 (52:16):
Yeah, that's just a bummer about Travis Hunter. But the
usage bump that we saw for him in the rams,
and I was anxious to see whether that was just
because the Rams were winning big and the Jaguars were
in chase mode in that London game, you know, thirty
five to seven blot and Travis Hunter gets fourteen targets.
I thought he might be able to make a serious
push though, and unfortunately we're gonna have to wait to

(52:38):
find out.

Speaker 2 (52:39):
Side note on this, all those btj's trade rumors that
that ain't happening now now would Hunter out?

Speaker 1 (52:45):
Nope, Let's go to Chiefs at Bills obviously one of
the games of the year. This is one that everybody
circles when it. You know, the schedule drops in May
every year really never disappoints, whether it's regular season or postseason,
these games are always so I'll just keep this one simple.
Fits pick one player who's ranked too high in this
matchup in consensus rankings, and one player who is ranked

(53:07):
too low.

Speaker 4 (53:08):
All right, I'll start with the too low Rashi Rice
ECR wide verse six, Wide receiver six. I haven't met
wide receiver four. It's already been pretty heavily involved in
his first two games back sixteen catches on nineteen targets
plus two rushing attempts, heavy red zone usage. So yeah,
wide receiver four too high. I'm a little below consensus

(53:28):
on Bershard Smith, and I am starting to think that
maybe the opportunity we think Burshard has as the Chiefs
primary pass catching back.

Speaker 5 (53:37):
Might be a mirage.

Speaker 4 (53:39):
And why do I think that it's It's because of
Rashi Rice. Like Rice is a short area receiver. His
averaged up the target for his career it's four point
six yards this year, two point four yards in two games.
And with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid using Rice on
all the short stuff, there's just not much need for

(54:01):
a running back to catch a lot of passes out
of the backfield for this team. So like in Rice's
first game back, Smith did have a season I five
catches for forty two yards, but Rice only played forty
one percent of the snaps. Smith played the highest snap
count of the season twenty eight because the Chiefs were
winning in a blot over the Raiders, and I think
the blowout was kind of why he got snaps and targets.

(54:24):
Then last week Rice was back to eighty six percent
of the snaps. Rashard Smith played nine offensive snaps and
saw zero targets. I just I think the presence of
Rashie Rice might keep Richard Smith from becoming a thing.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Debra, same question. One player too high, one player too low.

Speaker 2 (54:40):
Fitzia, I love you so fricking much. I toyed with
the idea of bringing up Rashi Rice so much. I
love that you let off with that. And just for
everybody out there, in the two games that Rashie Rice
has been back, he is the wide receiver one in
Fantasy points per game. He has averaged twenty four point

(55:00):
four PPR points per game. So if he keeps that, like, yes,
we are ranking him too low. But the other guy
I'll mention here is I think we're too high on
Keon Coleman, and I know he's at wide receiver forty
five after week two. Here's his weekly finishes wide receiver
seventy six, sixty nine, fifty.

Speaker 5 (55:19):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Look there's forty three, seventy six, and fifty seven and
the coverage matchup is horrible for him. The Chiefs had
the six highest too high rate against too high if
you take out the first week, which is a massive outlier.
For the rest of the season for Keon Coleman, he
has the sixteen percent target per route run rate and
zero point nine to five yards per route run against
too high Keon Coleman, he's out. He's gonna be outside

(55:42):
my top fifty.

Speaker 1 (55:44):
I want to ask a second question in this game,
just because it's such a fun game just betting it.
Kansas City is laying two points in Buffalo. The total
it was fifty two. It's actually up to fifty two
and a half on hard Rock bet. How are you
betting those numbers? De Bro?

Speaker 2 (55:56):
I'm staying away from the freaking spread, and I'm actually
I don't want to take the under on this man,
Like I think, like I just get a feel in
this game, like when this is also again fifty talks
about betting rules, like when we get these totals up
in the fifties, there's so much that can go wrong
on these things, and so I actually, if I if
I'm staying away from both of them, but if I
had to bet one of these as an official bet,

(56:19):
I'd take the under on the total.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
Fits.

Speaker 5 (56:24):
Yeah, I agree with Debro.

Speaker 4 (56:26):
I'm staying away from the total though I don't think
it's going to disappoint with regard to scoring. But if
you want to give me the Buffalo Bills as a
home underdog, that is an auto bet for me, I
am betting the Bills.

Speaker 5 (56:39):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
Let's go to Sunday night football here, Seahawks at Commanders.
How are you guys approaching the Seattle backfield coming out
of the by? Where are Kenneth Walker and Zach Sharbonay ranked?
For you guys, respectively? Fits starting with you.

Speaker 4 (56:51):
I have Walker running back twenty three, Charbonay running back
twenty eight. It's just a messy split, and I should
probably have them right next to each other, but I
just think Walker is the better player.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
Debra, I legit have them back to back at twenty
three and twenty four. It's dude, Ken Walker's season has
been just capsized, but by the fact that he's not
getting any red zone usage. It's all the touchdowns that
is propping up Zach Charbonay, and it's all not scoring
any touchdowns for Kenneth Walker. That's crushing him. Man Like

(57:23):
he's RB forty two since Week four, He's RB forty
two and Fantasy points per game because he's not scoring
any touchdowns. He's not getting any Dude. He has only
eight of twenty three possible red zone carries right now.
It's it's horrible and he is clearly the more efficient player.
I wish somebody in the media for Seattle would ask

(57:45):
the coaching staff why are you deploying the backfield the
way that you are and in the manner that you are,
because I would be fascinated to hear the answer, Like,
I don't understand it when you look at both of
these guys and you clearly can turn on the film
and one of them is clearly out playing in the other.
But we get in the red zone and it's like, nah,
we're gonna get the ball to Sharps.

Speaker 1 (58:07):
KENNETHA. Walker is RB twenty three and Zach Sharvinae is
RB twenty eight in the consensus ranking, So they're both
in that annoying range of difficult decision to make here.
I think Seattle wins this game prehandedly, so I'm hoping
that they both get a lot of opportunities with the
Seahawks having a lead. We'll see if that actually ends
up panning out that way, but I think Seattle's going

(58:30):
to win this game kind of running away, so hopefully
that means good points for both of them. I think
we can move on to Monday Night Football here. Last
game on the Slate, Cardinals at Cowboys. This is the
highest total of the week. It is at fifty four
on hard Rock bet is the total, which is enormous,
and I was surprised that it was higher than Chiefs Bills. Honestly,

(58:51):
if I forced you guys to pick one Arizona Cardinal
to rank extra aggressively this week, who would you pick?
And we'll start with you, Debro.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
I'm gonna go Bam Night man. And this is not
because I love Bam Knight. This is because the Cowboys cannot.

Speaker 3 (59:06):
One of the greatest tricks the Green Bay Packers have
ever pulled on anybody, and the history of mankind was
convincing Jerry Jones that Kenny Clark could be the reason
that their run defense could be better, because it's been
wondrous to see.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
Because they're still terrible. The Cowboys run defense is still
got awful. Like they're giving up the fourth most rushing
arts per game, the second highest explosive run rate. I
could rattle off every single statistic that freaking matters for
run defenses, and the Cowboys are bottom twelve and all
of them. So, if you're telling me we're living in
a world where Bam Knight goes for one hundred yards
and he gets two touchdowns. I will not be surprised.

(59:42):
I think the touchdown equity is more of what I'd
lean on here and right now, I've got him at
RB nineteen. If you tell me he finishes the week
as a top fifteen running back, I would.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
Not be shocked, Fitz. I know we discussed night a
little bit yesterday on the Thursday Show with you, me
and Jake Seely already. Would he have been your pick
year as well?

Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
He would have been my pick to well, I suppose
you probably would not let me take Trey McBride. As
far as ranking extra aggressively, I was.

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
Gonna ask, how aggressively can you the number one tight Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
Exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:00:15):
No more aggressively than number one, So I guess that's impossible.

Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
I guess you could rank him aggressively in flex rankings,
not that you would be starting him at tight end regardless,
but you could make the case like, oh, I have
him ranked, you know, top twenty in flex or something
like that. If you wanted to make the case, I'll
allow it.

Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
Yeah. No, it's Bam knight.

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
And maybe he's more of a lead back this week
than a timeshare guy and if he's the lead back
in this matchup against a Dallas defense that's given up
the fifth most rushing yards and fourth most Fantasy points
to running backs, then yeah, he might have a chance
at an RB one finish.

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Where did you say you ranking him fits?

Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
So right now I've got him at RB nineteen, But
I have been thinking about moving him ahead of JK.
Dobbins and Travis Etn.

Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
Yeah, I think it's right call moving them up right now. Actually,
Bam Knight versus jam and Warren FITZI.

Speaker 5 (01:01:10):
I'm still gonna warn ahead, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
I think it's an interesting conversation him and Jamen Warren
and Kareem Hunt That that sentence made me feel like
I wanted to throw up.

Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
I was gonna say, what would be interesting fits to
circle back to an earlier conversation, Bam Night or Travon
Henderson if rom andres.

Speaker 4 (01:01:26):
Out, Yeah, probably Bam, just because I don't know what
the Jennings just kind of a wild card there.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
Yeah, for the Patriots, Mike Rabel says, Hi, Yeah, we'll
go ahead and wrap things up there.

Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Bestive luck to everybody here in week nine. And if
you're listening to this and it's still Friday. Definitely enjoy Halloween.
