where you guys can be a part of shows and
just have more than just what a normal Discord community is.
And that's why you want to join our Fantasy Pros
Discord community, chat with other fans, get access to exclusive
amas that can wind up on the podcast feeds. And

(00:46):
we've got a schedule. Bogs and Fits five pm Eastern

Worman Fits at five pm Eastern the first Tuesday of
every month, and then Ericson and I are rocking with

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Do it.

Speaker 1 (01:04):

what's up, buddy, mische? I feel like we haven't done
a million shows recently.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Really, I feel like I've done a show with everybody
recently because we just have the Fantasy Fest.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
That's true.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Can we do a segment together? Or maybe were we
not on a segment together?

Speaker 6 (01:28):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
They did.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
They put us away from each other.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Well, they know that we have the extra point going
every single week from here till January February March. Who
knows the extra point is here for everybody in the discord.
So yeah, man, I'm excited. This is one of the
biggest draft weekends coming up. We are updating everything, rankings,
all the promos galore.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
What a time to be alive, What a time to
be alive. We just actually also had the or at
least I did the Fantasy Pros Company Draft, and then
it followed with we're doing like one of the chop leagues,
like a guillotine league, And we did both of those,
and I did those back to back, and those were
crazy experiences because we had a sixteen team company. Did

(02:12):
you already do your Fantasy Pro Company league?

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Nope, mine's not till next week.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
All right, Well, I want you to check out my
bills a little bit later and tell me what you
thought of it. About it and you guys can you
can take advantages of some of the trends, and we're
all about those trends. We'll probably talk about some of
them throughout this. So we've got a great audience here.
I see a bunch of hand raids. This is awesome.
And then I think I see some people loading up
the chat. So let's get to it, Eric, and I

(02:39):
know you're ready for it. Let's have our boy Wyatt
kick off the show for us. Wyatt, come on down.
What do you got for us today?

Speaker 7 (02:46):
Hey, bros, can you hear me?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
We got you?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Brother? Sound good?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
All right?

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Awesome?

Speaker 7 (02:50):
I love the all ringing this back. I got a
little bit of a long winded one. I did what
everyone recommends not doing in a redraft, and I traded
picks from last year for players, so I don't have
a fourth or a fifth round pick this year, and
I have extra six, seventh, and tenth round picks, and

(03:12):
then I picked up a third round pick from someone
else and traded away mine. We're a half PPR one
QB two running back to wide receiver tight end in
a flex league. So my question is draft strategy with
those picks missing, I have possibility of keeping Trade McBride
in the third or Cuba in the ninth, And I'm

(03:35):
wondering with those two keepers, should I go double wide
receiver at the one and two or should I look
at evening it out and doing a running back and
a wide receiver. What strategy you think would be best with?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
So is it only one paper?

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Yeah? One keeper?

Speaker 7 (03:50):
You keep them around earlier than you drafted them last year.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Okay, so then like just the mat do real quick
for me. What did you actually lose because you, like
you said, you traded a third to a third. Did
you use like a four and a five and then
you gained extra sixes and sevens?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Is that right? I lost?

Speaker 7 (04:05):
I lost a four and a five and then technically
an eighth rounder and I gained an extra six, seventh,
and tenth.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Okay, gotcha. And then your question was keep Cuba at
a nine, McBride at a three, and then did you
also want to just know basic strategy or was it
just the keepers? It was keepers?

Speaker 7 (04:24):
And then what like basically I'm thinking like whatever keeper
I keep is going to determine my strategy, like do
I go zero RB? Do I with double running back
or double wide receiver at the first and second round?
If I go early tight end, that obviously basically solidifies
zero RB for my strategy.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Absolutely, Okay, why yeah, there's actually a good one to
start at the top of the show. It is a
little convoluted. There's a lot to it. You threw me
off too when you were like I did what you
shouldn't do in redraft and I was like, ooh, what'd
you do? Like early quarterback? And you're like, I trade
a picks and I was like, wait a minute, that's
not redraft, that's a keeper. So ericson, there's a lot
to that base roster construction. Let's start with third round

(05:03):
McBride or ninth round Shuba, but we do have to
consider that he's missing a couple of picks in there.
If he were to keep that third round, he'd essentially
have a one, a two, and then I guess he
like he'd be out a couple rounds of picks. So
what do you think?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, I think that this team is just begging to
be a zero RB build because it just kind of
makes it easy if you just go with Ray McBride,
you keep him, then you go receivers in the first
two rounds.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
If you're picking up the back end of.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Round one and considering there's keepers, you don't necessarily know
who of the running back and wide receiver pool is
going to be available, But just knowing how the player
depth is at the top, there's probably still going to
be receivers available that are in that top twelve conversation
where probably more the running backs are going to be held.
So although in a vacuum, I think that Hubbard is
clearly the better value proposition. I think that when you

(05:55):
look at longevity, I think McBride can be a game
changer all year long, where it's Hubbard very potential that yeah,
he starts up the year as the guy, but maybe
doubtle again, he's operating on third downs. Trevor Etn I
think is still really underrated as a rookie running back
in this year's class. So those guys just eat into
Hubbard over the season. I think it can be productive

(06:16):
to start the year, but there's a lot of running
backs you can get late that can kind of be
productive to start the year. So I'm going I'm ready
to embrace the ZERRB with this team and just kind
of see how it goes. And you're not going to
be tempted to take any into round running backs because
you want any.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Picks, so you're gonna have to avoid that range anyway.
And yeah, so that's that's what I would do.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah, I think I'm I think that there's a there's
like an understanding of why you could do the Cuba
Hubbard because then you have like the top three picks
and the only one keeper definitely puts the possibility of
like good players are out there. But one of the
things I guess I have is like one keeper is
essentially going to take like a first round of most

(06:56):
likely most of the first round out, So then now
you're like drafting behind in that fourth round can get
a little dead. Sony so all of this to say that,
like with the missing picks, think you got to play
the most upside not try to play it safe here.
And I completely agree with ericson McBride puts you in
elit tight end territory. You got to just kill those
first two picks. You got to go big upside, not

(07:16):
play it safe, and that might lead you into like
a zero ish RB build. You might have to be
the guy that's like, I'm going to try to win
with Austin Eckler and Javonte Williams as my running backs,
and then those higher picks you're taking, like maybe two
wide receivers or I don't know, maybe a quarterback falls
to you. But I think we're generally kind of agreeing

(07:37):
whatever the actual strategy of the players you take is.
I think McBride is the pick. So it's one strategy
build here, all right, the j Town, the Jay Town,
Come on down with the mock drafter Moniker here, join
the stage, ask us questions, and we will all rejoice
your fantasy glory. What's up, dude Blue? Hello? Hello, yop,

(08:00):
oh hey guys, Hey done good man?

Speaker 5 (08:01):
What you got good?

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Good?

Speaker 8 (08:03):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (08:03):
Yeah, so I got a dynasty question. I got Hawkinson
and Ben Sinnett, but I'm looking to upgrade to more
of a longer term tight end and I just offered
a JCM, taking advantage of the hype and the second
rounder for a Tucker Craft.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
So wait, you offered uh Krossky in a second to
get Craft or you were offering Yes, okay.

Speaker 9 (08:27):
I am offering and the deal seems to be almost
a Doune deal. I'm just thinking if that's a good
move or kind of wait on the hype?

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Who is your who is your tight end? Again?

Speaker 9 (08:38):
It's Hawkinson and Senate So it's not necessarily a great
long term ish Well.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
I mean, Hawkinson's only twenty eight years old. True, I don't.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I don't think that he's a terrible and look, Benson,
I got you know, he got the zach Ertz treatment,
you know, the same thing we saw with Training Bride
a couple of years ago where he didn't do much
as a rookie.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
So I don't.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
I don't hate your current tight end room maybe as
much as you necessarily do. But when you throw Tucker
Craft in the conversation, I'm never going to say no,
Like that's the thing. If you're going to get Tucker Craft,
then I think you're going to be a winner.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
No matter what.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
I'm never going to say no to acquiring talented players
whose value is going to rise in Dynasty. Now, you're
obviously taking advantage of Jakoy crossky Merit, which I think
is smart because even though I do think that he
can definitely outproduce, you know what he was valued at,
you know, a couple of months ago, and be a
productive running back for the Commanders this year. He's not

(09:30):
out of the woods like next year. Right, He's still
a seventh thrown draft picks. So what's gonna if he
has a good year, what's the Commanders like, what's going
to stop them from drafting running back next year? And
then you can see his value kind of depreciate. So
I think that you're getting fair return for Jacroid cross Camera.
Even though I don't think that, I still think he's
a worthy asset. This is something I would move him
off to acquire.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
I think you and I are just in a different
spot here. I'm kind of sitting here being like, if
you have Howkinson, why are you trading out? I Mean,
I know Kraft is a little bit younger, but why
are you're trading assets, especially in like the pick department,
to get Craft.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
I think there's definitely an element of like wherever you
sit on the Bill Krofsky train, like things can change,
Like maybe this is one of the most incredible opportunities
to maximize value on a player that's just going to
be I mean, I think they were just talking about
like goal line usage could go to Chris Rodriguez and
you're going to have like a lot of receiving downs
go to obviously Austin Ecklers. So it's like if if

(10:29):
Krasky Merit is stuck with you know, ten twelve carries
a game, it's pretty minimal value. But if we're talking
in it sounds like a dynasty because there's just like
a lot of players that are involved that are lower values.
This is like a dynasty. I'm not sure. I just
want to give them away for nothing while you're again
I'm not saying Craft is nothing, but you're also giving
away a pick when you have Howkinson. I think this

(10:52):
might just be a firm kind of disagree with both
of us. I don't see the value in trading for
a Craft when you have Howkinson and you're giving away
two pieces, you might be able to maximize Merit's value
somewhere else. Or how about this, what about Hockinson and
like a third round pick for Kraft like something like that.
So I don't know, I might be wrong. I might
totally be wrong about this, but I think I'm on

(11:14):
the like complete other side of a disagreement on acquiring
a tight end in dynasty. When you have Hawkinson, like
if he said he's like, oh I got you know,
Jake Ferguson, or I got even further down if he
was like I've got Kyle Pittson, I'm worried. Like, Okay,
that's a little bit of a different thing. But Howkinson's
not I don't know, It's not nothing for the next
couple of years.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Am I wrong? Right? No?

Speaker 3 (11:36):
I mean, like I said, like, I didn't say that
I necessarily hate his tight end room, but he's also
just trying to take advantage of trying to get something
out of JACOI Crosskey Merrit and hey, like what if
Hawkinson gets hurt and then I gotta start Benson on
like you like you might have be able to start
him at all this year. So I think maybe he's
looking at my tighten depth is not great. And Kraft

(11:57):
is a player that when we're talking about him next year,
his value is going to be much higher than it
is right now. So that's why I am supportive of
this idea because Troy Crosskimer to get another player who
we expect his value to increase. We all want to
try to figure out when the perfect time to sell
him is right, because this is we've seen this picture
before Stout with Isaiah Pacheco, Antonio Gibson, James Robinson, Like

(12:20):
the list goes on and on of these guys that
were Day three undrafted running backs that peak in their
rookie years, but then they fizzle off, right, Like, what
what's Pacheco's dnasty value?

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Now? It's not that great.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
So that's why you're never going to sell him at
I think at the perfect time because it's just hard
to project when it's going to be. But you know
that you're going to have to try to sell him
at some point. So is it maybe a little bit
early to do it right now? Maybe, But at the
end of the day, if you're getting Tucker Craft, who
I feel very strongly that he's going to have more
value than his next year, then Cross the American kind

(12:53):
of do whatever, as long as I get Craft in
the end, and I then have a top maybe top
five tight end in Dynasty more talking about it next year,
then it doesn't almost really matter what Crosskey Merrit does,
whether he increases the value substantial or decreases it. So
so I like this dealing, and again I'm also massively
huge on craft, which is why I'm also a sportive
of it.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah, I mean, your logic makes sense, and I don't
think if you wanted to do it it's it's bad.
I guess my argument would just be like that, you know,
optimizing the Bill Grossky train. Maybe there's just another place
to do it, you know, maybe there's another player, maybe
there's someone that's willing to sell differently. But it makes sense,
and maybe you can even push the guy to get
the pick out, you know, or get a lower pick.

(13:35):
A fourth. Yeah, it's like a third or fourth or so. Yeah,
you say, hey, let's do a four, and you guys
meet in the middle of the third and it's like, Okay,
it feels like a tiny bit better because the second
round picks definitely can hold a lot of value, assuming
that that's like a second round pick in the rookie
drafts for next year. There's still a lot of second
round value in there that I'm just not sure I
want to quite give up there. But if you want
to get out from Bill Krossky, then you know, maybe

(13:58):
those are the type of things I would just maybe
poke around the league and see if there's someone else
that's like RB desperate or something like that. So a
good conversation, very good conversation. The father man, Father man's
in the house. What you got man?

Speaker 10 (14:10):
What was going on?

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Guys doing today?

Speaker 1 (14:12):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (14:12):
Brother?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
We're doing good?

Speaker 10 (14:14):
Hey, Yeah, I got a disk question for you'all as well.

Speaker 8 (14:16):
Dude.

Speaker 10 (14:17):
I've got a pretty good team as far as running
backs and wide receivers go. But at the end of
last year, I ended up with Davontae Smith and AJ
Brown and probably gonna go ahead and get rid of
one of them. Should I get rid of one of them?
And what do y'all think I should ask for? Or
should I just hang on to both of them and
ride ride it out to like mid season, then get
rid of one later?

Speaker 1 (14:37):
What are y'all thinking I'm down to get rid of one?
I don't think that. I think this is kind of
a nuanced thing because I think the maybe the easy
answer or the first part of the answer is like
what gets you more, which should be aj Brown. But
it's a dynasty and age and if it's not something
that looks if people are trying to buy low, I

(14:59):
would have absolutely no issue going into the season. Like
I don't know if I would actively be like, all right,
got to get out from under. Sometimes I feel like
people get in their heads where it's like, all right,
got to get this, gotta get this guy out. I
got two teams, you know, over the age whatever it
is like I gotta trade him, and then you start
to look at trades in a different lens, and I
don't like doing that. I don't like desperation being the
lens that makes me make a move. So if someone's

(15:21):
not willing to like really push into a trade, I'd
probably move away. I'm open to doing both of them,
but like, clearly DeVante Smith is the one I'm probably
looking to get out from.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
What say you, Erickson, Yeah, it's tricky because you have
the age element at play. You look at both wide
receivers and you could argue that last year was kind
of one of the worst worst is probably not right
way to describe it, but less than ideal situations for
them to thrive as fantasy assets, just given how run
heavy the Eagles were last year, and that's just not

(15:53):
going to happen tiers in a row.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
The Eagles are going to throw more.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
So I still kind of feel like you're selling low
on the two players because this stigma around the Eagles
offense is they just runs the ball so much. But
I mean, if sebon and Markley does end up missing
any games and he goes have to throw the ball more,
that's where you're gonna want to sell after that. After
you see a oh aj Brown got fifteen targets in
a game, or DeVante Smith. DeVante Smith, when you see

(16:18):
his numbers that he posts when guys miss time, whether
it's a J Brown or Dallas Goddard, he.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
Turns into a wide receiver one.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
It's why he's such a hard player for me to
rank in draft because his splits are so eye popping
when guys miss time. When all those other guys are
healthy in the lineup, he doesn't do that much, but
when one guy misses, he immediately steps in as an
alpha wide receiver. So I guess for me, if I'm
really playing the long term game, eventually there's probably gonna

(16:46):
be a time when DeVante Smith maybe steps up into
a true wide receiver one role if he goes move
on from AJ Brown at some point. You know, I'm
not exactly sure how that will necessarily play out, but
I think that, Yeah, like to your point, you can
probably get more for a J. Brown, and I think
I'd rather hold on to Devonte Smith just in the
long term, based on the age and his body of work.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
So kind of a.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Loaded answer, I guess to that particular question. But I
don't think right now is really the best time to
sell them. I mean, they're both really good players that
you can start every single week, and if one of
them disappoints, it's usually because the other one is the
one that's performing. So when you combine the guy's two scores,
you're usually pretty happy with each player or that total
combined output basically every week.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Yeah, And like you also asked what would be what
we would target, that's really tough to say because I
think anyone that's buying AJ Brown is in a win
now mode. And then I'm going to give you why
if they were to give you wide receivers, it's going
to be you buying on a lower name, like you'd
have like a younger lower name, like you'd have to
go and get Roma Dunez and something like would you trade?

(17:55):
Would you trade away AJ Brown for Roma duneesay in
a second round pick.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
And a second round pick and you.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Get a second and a June's ay and while you
move away AJ Brown off of your team? You want
to do that?

Speaker 5 (18:10):
Not if I'm a contender now, So that's my point.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Yeah, the only other way you could do it is
if you're trading, Like, Okay, I'm getting rid of AJ
Brown because I have a deficit at running back. This
other team has a high end running back. But like
they'd have to trade you like a Josh Jacobs to
be equivalent or something like that. So I just like,
I think if you're a contender, you're in a position
where I don't think this is going to make a

(18:33):
ton of sense. If you are rebuilding a little bit,
then I think you can really get creative.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Conversely, let's because we like talking about this particular player
because he's fun to talk about. Would you trade AJ
Brown Jacorey Krossky merit for Nico Collins, So.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
I trade away Brown and Crosskey to get Nico.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Yes, okay, so maybe that cause again, like we always
try to think about kind of this is not necessarily
moving down, but using these players to move up, like
move up a tier. And I think that again, Nico's
not also like the youngest player. I think that he's
twenty six, So I mean not an old receiver by
any means, but I mean I was shocked. Well, when

(19:13):
you look at the odds to lead the NFL receiving arts,
you know who's number one.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
It's not Chase, it's Chase yep. You know who's number two?

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Nico Collins really with Lamb and and.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
I think it has to go down to the target
competition in the quarterback like who is Nico Kollins could
be with it's Christian Kirk like that's the starter in
the offense, and then rookies like so the path for
Nico to just go absolutely bonkers is totally in play
this year. And you just look at his body work
in terms of receiving arts per game. He's top five
last two seasons since CJ. Stroud became the Texans quarterback

(19:50):
Nico Collins has basically been a top five wide receiver
in the NFL, Like that's the case here, and because
it took him a couple of years to break out
because the Texas quarterbacks so bad for so long and
then they got Stroud and then he immediately just like melted faces.
I think he's still kind of like undervalued a little
bit in Dynasty. So maybe even AJ Brown straight up

(20:11):
for Nego Collins would work, But I guess that's kind
of how my mind is kind of working with think
about you know, the AJ Brown and also too, like
if you want trade recommendations, use the Trade Analyzer part
of the Fantas Pools Toolkit toolkit. And also we have
the Dynasty Trade Value chart that updates every single month.
We're doing another update after roster cutdowns next week, so

(20:32):
that'll be updated and ready to go. So those have
value number and inputs for each of the players along
with picks, so that can give you another idea of
where those players are value valued.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
By the way, what's cdee Lamb on that number for
receiving lead in the league and receiving yards.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
I think that he's next.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
I think that he's he's I mean, it's like the
typical guys in the top five, it's Jefferson.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
It's like, what are the numbers like? Are they like
two to one, three to one?

Speaker 8 (20:57):
Like?

Speaker 1 (20:57):
What are they bigger? Better?

Speaker 3 (20:58):
I leave the NFL and received it's not that short
of I think it's there all longer than that. I'm
pretty sure I can pull it up right now.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
I'm just curious.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
I'll do a little read while you look that up,
because if I'm getting ten to one, I might jump
on there. So while you're looking that up, you were
talking about some of the great things we have. We
got the analyzers. We've also got the draft assistant. Biggest
draft weekend is coming up another I mean, really, the
next two weeks are just going to be absolutely crazy.
If you want to make sure you're the sharpest and

(21:26):
set the best, check out Draft Assistant. It connects directly
to your draft and provides both real time pick suggestions
and estimations on which players might get taken before your
next pick. Actually just use this on one of our drafts,
our company draft that we did over on what we did,
one on Yahoo and one on Sleeper And I even
like the little pick suggestion on the right hand side,

(21:47):
where you can pick from the suggestion you can you
can select it to make the pick. Instead of being
on the site. Draft Assistant fully integrates your customized cheat
sheets and suggests based picks based on your rankings, team build,
adp and other fact dominate your draft in real time
without the guest. Work with Draft Assistant fantasypros dot com,
slash Assistant or on the Fantasy Pros app. Try for

(22:08):
free during your draft by claiming your three day trial
of Fantasy Pros Premium at fantasypros dot Com slash Premium.
A friend of mine is actually one of the in
game hosts for the Diamondbacks, and he was texting me.
We used to work in radio together and we don't
like talk a ton, but because his fantasy draft is
coming up and he knows I work at Fantasy Pros,
we were chatting and you know, he's out there. He's

(22:30):
like literally the guy that's on screen in the middle
of innings and stuff at the Diamondbacks. And we were
going through some different formats and I was like, dude,
I'm like, do this for me. Here's a link. Sink
your league and start going on the draft wizard and
practicing against your league because he's trying to figure out
He was like, what are the trends and stuff like that,
and I'm like, because they just added a double flex

(22:51):
into their league this year, and I said, go into
the mock draft. And I'm like, go do some mocks
and then use the premium link and then that bad
boy can get you set up for your league where
you can get the draft assistant to help you do
all this stuff. And he was like okay, and then
he texted me later He's like, I've done ten mock
drafts and I said, you're doing it right. You're doing
it right, my friend. All right, what are what are

(23:11):
those odds looking like ericson?

Speaker 3 (23:13):
So yeah, I just pulled them up the So Chase
is the favorite six to one, Nico's ten to one,
Jefferson's ten to one, Lamb is ten to one, Pooka
Malik Thomas kind of like ten to fifteen to one.
So those are the top ones. So yeah, Nico is
number two there.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
I don't mind the Nico, but I'm hearing Neighbors and
I'm hearing Lamb and I'm hearing odds, and I kind
of want to maybe place a little feature on both
and you could do with.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
The bet think that it's you think it's I mean
I thought it was not like surprising, but I mean
for Tanico, for him to be up there, right, No.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
I think it is surprised.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
I know what you said is like I like, if
you would have asked me without any like setup, who
are the guys I would have said Chase, I would
have said Lamb, I would have said Jefferson. Nico would
have not been in the top three in Franklin. I
would have said Neighbors at four. So for Nico to
be two, it is very telling to where the books
are at.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Yeah, and I think that it just goes to show
what his ceiling is in the Texans offense. Right if
he can hit his ninety nine percent of outcome, you're
looking at a player that, I mean, can Nico Collins
win the Chuble Crown, like we know he can. You know,
his yard is just going to be there. Maybe the
receptions is probably the thing that's would hold him back,

(24:29):
and then anyone again, you're going over fourteen hundred receiving yards.
He has the ability to score anywhere on the field.
So the touchdown that they could also come. It would
probably just be the reception. It's probably the only thing
that would hold him back, just because he's more of
been a yards per route run kind of savant, not
necessarily like a target hog because he's been really super efficient.
But is this the year where I mean last year,

(24:49):
remember we were concerned about well tag Dell is there
and Diggs is there, and he ran circles around those guys.

Speaker 5 (24:55):
It wasn't even close.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Like we watched week one for Nico Collins and immediately
know is like I was, like, I was so wrong
about Nico.

Speaker 5 (25:02):
This guy is alpha and you got a fade Alpha's
at your own risk.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Well, fade, I put that on a shirt. Fade Alpha's
at your own risk. Collins, just put Nico on there.
Put you guys, put that on a Fantasy Pro shirt.
Immediately ericson dropping heat here. I love that. All right,
let's get back to the listeners here. Thirty three, thirty six, Hochy,
what's up?

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Yeah, going dream baby, let's go.

Speaker 8 (25:30):
So I've dropped my team in the chat Rick and
you've already actually had to look at it and give
me some feedbacks. I've got three points I want to
hit and I'll try to hit him quick out of
respect for everybody else. So first off, you have a
twelve team dynasty, one QB half PPR.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
I've got four.

Speaker 8 (25:45):
Qbs right now, which I know is at least one
too many, and give them the bird.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
On Anthony Richardson, is it time for me to just
drop him and move on?

Speaker 1 (25:56):
But why what would you drop? By the way, he's
got bo Nicks, cam wardak Prescott, and Anthony Richardson. My
question would be why and for what? Like, what would
be the point to dropping him? To pick up what
off the wire?

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Yeah, there's nothing much I can pick up?

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Then absolutely we just yeah, yeah, because like Richardson, So
people put out here interesting points of like, hey, listen,
if Richardson were to have started the season and be
a little bit of a failure and they make the
move because he'd be like, oh, Daniel Jones could be
the savior. I think you're in for some real big messiness.
There's a scenario where Daniel Jones stinks up the place

(26:33):
for three weeks. All that psyching was talking about is
they need consistency out of Richardson. He's the future second
half of the year, he's the starter, he's incredible trade
bait for you, So unless you're like, oh, Crosskey's sitting
out there, like I would not make the cut of Richardson.
That is a lot of quarterbacks though, but I wouldn't.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Do it well. That brings me to my next question,
So I'm good with that.

Speaker 8 (26:54):
That's kind of how I was feeling, but I didn't
want to be suvering sentimental about it.

Speaker 4 (26:59):
You haven the qbs he have.

Speaker 8 (27:00):
I sort of see Nicks as possibly now and possibly
in the future. Prescott's definitely now. I think he could
have a big season, or too early to say he should.
I be looking at moving to Ward Prescott.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
In your business?

Speaker 1 (27:11):
What do you think Ericson? I would be comfortable literally
taking all these quarterbacks and being like, who's given me
the best value? And if someone's given me a nice value,
I don't care really who it is, knowing you have
Dak in the future for Ward if someone wanted Nick
or vice versa. But what do you think Rickson?

Speaker 5 (27:27):
I would trade Dak.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
I think that he's an easy so high since it's
kind of weird, but I feel like that he's viewed
pretty positively, even though he's coming off a terrible season
where he got injured.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
I get that things should be better. They're added pickens,
but we're.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Also playing the Eagles in Week one on the road,
and Tyler Goetan, who's the starting tackle, has missed all
of the off seat for Dallas. Like, it just doesn't
set up well for Dallas. I think to start out
of the gates red hot. They have this Michael Parsons saying,
I know who plays defense, but just like it's just
more drama with the Dallas Cowboys every single year.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
So for me was fant too, which makes it even worse.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Right, So so you know exactly what I'm talking about here.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
So I mean, I think you have enough, you know,
horses into the quarterback stable like you said you got
bo Nicks. I mean I think that he's Look, he
has everything that you need from a fantasy perspective. He's mobile,
he's in a great system, great offensive line.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Horses in the stable. Ericson, damn you.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
And cam Wore I think has another T shirt another
T shirt, and cam Wore obviously I think has room
to grow. But I would agree with Welsh about you
can't just cut Richardson is younger than cam Ward, Like
we got to keep that in mind.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
Guys like this guy.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
I know that right now he's on he's on the
Trey Lance trajectory, which is not great because he just
needs to play more, but he can't because he keeps
getting injured. But the minute that he gets a start,
he could start one game, you could see his fantasy
value double after one good game.

Speaker 8 (28:48):
So like right now, hold hold Richardson and the Prescott
blows up a game, stop him around a little bit.

Speaker 11 (28:54):
Yep.

Speaker 8 (28:56):
So next topic, running back, going into the going, going
into a rookie pre agent draft, I had Jonathan Taylor
and Brown Robinson Jr.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
So I knew I needed to improve on that, and
I started.

Speaker 8 (29:08):
I was sitting at the one oh five, basically decided
I really wanted to get Henderson, so I traded first
and second in twenty sixth to grab the one o
three as well and got Henderson, hoping to get Tent
at five. He been at four, so I got Travis Hunter,
which leaves me with Hunter and Ron Thomlinson.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
I know Ericson, you told me the other day you
were good keeping them both. Oh you agree, agreed?

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Oh absolutely, You've got great depth Thomas and Wilson and
your top receivers on the bench right now are Pearsoul
and Hunter, Like those are great dynasty keeps. I have
no issue with Hunter, and I think he's gonna eat
so he's a fourth wide receiver and you only technically
start too. I think you're in a great spot.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
You would have looked a movie the one with any
of those guys at this point.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
If someone's paying a super high price, I'd listen. But yeah,
I think you paid a high price in those picks.
If I'm not interested in trying to get like trading
Travis Hunter for a first round pick next year, I
think you're trying to compete. You have a team that
I think you've got a few holes like King Caiges
are starting tight end. I'm not the biggest bo Nix
guy on the planet. Like so if someone you know,

(30:13):
if I could upgrade, great, But otherwise, like he has
Jonathan Taylor, Chase Brown, Brian Thomas, Garrett Wilson, Traveon Henderson,
that's a big core. I don't look to trade just
to trade. If somebody wants to pay up, and here's
the place, though it's not the time to do it.
We just talked about this on a mock draft show
with Sealy. It has an air yet we're me Seely
Boggs and and Cely and I also did this other

(30:34):
show where it was talking about upside picks. We were
talking about Godwin and Travis Hunter, and like about a
month ago, those two dudes were like super popular picks.
Everyone's like, oh god, it'll be okay. And he's such
a value and Travis Hunter, he's going to have it all.
As the drafts have started, those guys are falling. They're
now being pushed back more. Travis Hunter used to be

(30:56):
a guy that was going into the mid twenties and
sometimes he's fallen into the thirties. Now people are scared
and worried about usage, and they're just being a little
bit more risk averse. This is not that My point is,
this is not the time to trade him. This would
not be the time I would be looking to trade
Travis Hunter. Let him go out and have an explosive game.
Let him have a game where he catches four balls
for ninety five yards and a touchdown and then has

(31:17):
a pick, and people are losing their mind even though
the interception doesn't mean anything. People, oh my god, Dravis
Hunter then you look and see if someone out there
wants to do something stupid. So that's what I would
look at doing that. Did that answer all your questions? OKI?

Speaker 5 (31:31):
One more?

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Well, not really much a question, but just to comment.
So after after our draft then I.

Speaker 8 (31:36):
Had said I had b Rob before and I also
had Heck gaff lose the two of them together to
get Brown on a twenty six.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Second round pick.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
To get what done I got?

Speaker 4 (31:48):
I traded?

Speaker 1 (31:49):
No, I know who you traded?

Speaker 5 (31:50):
What did you get?

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Chase Brown? And a twenty six second probably a mid
second he did great.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
You're bragging now you're just hearing a bragging about all
your amazing No, no, I'm olt.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
I felt like it was a good deal.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
But uh, I feel like my running my running backs
have actually turned into a strength now where he was
a weakness going into the draft.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
But I've thinned my wide receiver depth a little.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
So it's a dynasty man, good stuff, hokey. That's the
that's the world of dynasty ericson where you're wheeling and
dealing and you're trading and you're trying to have bench
versus like you know, the strong starters win now versus
playing for the future or trying to be in and
out like there's a fine line and a dance with
all of that, and hook, he's done a good job.
He's got a great, great roster out there.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Yeah, it's got a ton of upside, good young players
on it. And I personally, but again, I know I
talked about the Brian Thomas Travis Hunter combination. I think
that just in Dynasty, it's under I've talked about under
valued strategy is just like stacking teams, right, because if
Brian Thomas misses time, like who's the number one benefactor

(32:57):
of that? Probably Travis Heaven And then that way, it's
like you're maybe not playing Travis Hunter as much if
Brian Thomas is healthy. But it just gives you an opportunity,
especially because injuries are gonna happen to every single team.
Every single fantasy team is gonna have to deal with injuries,
and because dynasty rosters are so deep versus redraft, you
can have these backup players, these handcuffed players that are

(33:18):
ready to go, and they provide you more value to
your roster than someone else's value. You know, again, for
an example, like this team doesn't have Talas Brooks on it,
but like if you can get Todage Brooks for like
nothing Adam on there, you've got Chase Brown just in
case Chase Brown gets banged up, boom, you throw in
Toage Brooks and you have an RB two or something
along those lines. So that's how I kind of think.

(33:38):
I think that's a good strategy in Dynasty.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
The same thing with like DJ Giddens, like Gogat Giddins
in there. Yeah, get the backup. So that's the same
idea I like it. The team here in Fantasy Pros
are taking your questions all week every week on our
twitch Ericson and Tom Strackton are talking best ball on
Mondays at four pm Eastern. Tuesdays at two pm Eastern,
Bogman and myself doing our light speed round mock drafts.

(34:23):

Get your questions answered because we know you guys got them.
Doz up doza on the line for our final stretch here,
which you got man?

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Hey, Andrew Wells, can you guys hear me?

Speaker 1 (34:39):
What's up there?

Speaker 11 (34:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Great, we got a great mic. Dude, what's up?

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Those are just AirPods? Man? But anyways, just let me
set some foundation. I love my team currently, it's a
Redraft ten team full PPR to RB to our receiver
one flex. I have Chase Brown, Karen Williams, Justin Jefferson,
Cortland Sutton, then Ted McMillan.

Speaker 9 (35:01):
So happy with it.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
But man, I'm a Chargers fan. I really wanted Aconakie
and I really want to trade for him, so I
set this up and it's like a three team trade,
so it's all complicated. So in short, to you guys,
is this a reach? Karen Williams, Cortland, Sutton, and Calvin Ridley,
who I also have for James Connor, Lad McConkie and

(35:26):
Tony Poller.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Uh, say it one more time, just say the combo again.
It was it was Hyen Sutton.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Three for three, Karen Sutton and Calvin Ridley, okay, for
James Connor, Lad McConkie and Tony Pollard.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Okay, this is a big one. Those are Those are
a wide receiver two and a three with an RB
one essentially for it was like two RB two types
and a wide receiver one. What do you think about that, Ericson?
I would give him Jefferson Chase in Ladd.

Speaker 5 (36:03):
So basically, so it's basically the way I see it.
So I would say that Ridley.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
I mean, I'm pretty high on Ridley. So like maybe
saying Ridley and Sutton is a wash, but I think
it's pretty close. Just like what they're going to do
this specific gear, I think they're both like strong one.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
But he's trading them both. He's not getting one of them.
He's trading away Suddon and rather to.

Speaker 5 (36:27):
Connor and Kiren, Sutton and Lad.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
So what you have to do is you got to
cross cancel like Connor and Sutton, Are you okay? Cross
canceling those guys's value?

Speaker 3 (36:36):
I mean, I think when Connor's healthy, he can be
just as good as Kiren. It's just a matter of
like when he gets hurt like that, that's like the
only thing that with James Connor.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I guess the math I'm doing is like you got
to like be like, all right, Lad for Kyen, Connor
for Sutton, and then Pollard and Ridley. And if there's
a little bit of a plus value on the Connor
side over Sutton could does that make up for the
plus value you're giving a way for Ridley to get Pollard.
Hopefully I made that make sense.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
I think that if his goal was to get lad
I think that this is a fair deal to do that.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
I think it's a fair deal on both sides.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
I don't think that there's like a clear cut, Oh,
this team is totally winning this deal.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
You're winning this deal because you're getting the player you.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
Wanted, and you're paying a adequate price to get said players,
So I think that you're not overpaying. I don't think
this is like a steal by any means. I think
it's fair. I think both sides are getting a fair
deal based on the market prices where they were probably
drafted in ADP. Pollard's gotten a bump the last couple
of weeks because of the Spears injury, but there's Spears

(37:41):
is probably going to come back at some point, So
how does that change the things? I guess, Like the
only thing I would look at this trade is it
definitely just waited a little bit more towards the early
season because you're getting two running backs versus having two receivers,
which I think will help you to begin the year,
which I think helps counteract losing Kyron, who is your
best running back.

Speaker 5 (37:59):
But you're moving away.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
You're getting to running backs that should start the season
high on a high note.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
And then and then, like I said, like you're getting.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
A Lad mcconkeee, who is the guy you were going
after anyway, So yeah, I will co sign that this
is a good deal.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Yeah, I mean I'm down. I love getting Lad. I
mean having Lad Chase and Jefferson. That's so stupid and
dynasty like the valuation or are I don't think he
said dynasty well or a higher keeper. I'm assuming this
was because he had those guys. I don't know how
you would have Chase and Jefferson without it being a keeper.
So dynasty or keeper whatever to have those three. The

(38:33):
valuation of wide receivers is usually above running backs. I
will say that, like, you're trading away three assets that
have I think you could roughly say four plus years
of easy production to get only one guy that really
does I mean conn we're about done with Connor and
we're about done ish with Pollard. You know, we're getting

(38:55):
close to there. So like, really, his best season might
be right in front of him.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Isn't he going to be keeping all those receivers any
in the next five six years with Chase, Jefferson and lad.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Yeah, one hundred percent. So like that's why I'm kind
of building this out to just say, like there's higher value.
But like I don't think he said the amount of
keepers or I didn't hear it. So if you were
to say, like, oh, this is only five keepers, then
it's like, okay, well you know you're getting those three
wide receivers as your keepers. It's a no brainer. I
just think you said it best, like this is fine,
This is a fine trade. You are not like having

(39:27):
a smoking deal. You're not going to run away with
this like haha, gotcha at all? I think you're paying up.
You're paying up a lot of depth. But you also
are going to have the sickest wide receiver corps with
two running backs that are going to probably help you
carry this year. You just have to do some work later.
But it should cost lads should cost up in any
type of keepersh format. So yeah, I think it's it's
a it's a fine trade. I'm down with it.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
It's just I think when push comes to shove, you're
getting the best player in the deal.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Yes, that is something I always look at. It's like
the first thing you look at it. Yeah yeah, uh
oh wait he said Chase Brown, not Jamar Chase. Oh wait,
so he doesn't have Jamar Chase. You got you gotta
give his full names. People do that all the time,
and we're if you say Chase, I think.

Speaker 5 (40:12):
He said Chase Brown, No, I think about it.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Oh then I'm an idiot.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
I heard there's a lot of Chases. They both play for.
The Bank was like, it's it's a I think you're okay.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
So then just real quick, that changed it fro from
he would have had Jefferson, Sutton and Ridley with Kiren
and Chase to now having Jefferson, Lad somebody.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
And then I mean it doesn't really change it for me, honestly, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
I guess it doesn't really change it either. It's fine. Yeah,
and we could probably run circle. That's all dynasty is.
We could run circles around these streets like a million
times over perception.

Speaker 12 (40:47):
Sup, Hey, what's going on? Guys?

Speaker 4 (40:50):
Can you hear what?

Speaker 5 (40:51):
Yeah? We got your good dude, Sweet, I've.

Speaker 12 (40:53):
Got to I guess it's a running backs question. Just
for some context in the league. It's a redraft league
ten man ppr uh. You start two running backs, two receivers,
and two flecks. Having the draft tomorrow, so getting my
last notes together. My problem is, I love the wide
receiver value like everywhere. I'm picking at eight in the
ten man, so I'm at the turn, and I love

(41:13):
the receivers at rounds one and two, and I love
the receivers in rounds like five through eight, and so
I'm really struggling to find where at on the board
I want to invest fixing running back. So I guess
I guess I'm just asking where are you guys liking
the target running backs this year? Do you like going
gent at the one, two, eight and doing a hero
running back or do you tend to kick it down
the board a little more.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
We'll probably differ a little bit on this. You say,
gent I see McCaffrey. I love McCaffrey. I probably be
fine with gent. I gotta be honest, though, like at eight,
I'm probably like, you gotta give me. It's got to
be like a McCaffrey, or like of a Saquon fell.
Saquon fell to nine in the draft we just did.
That's where I would jump on it. Then, comparative to

(41:55):
the wide receivers, it'd be hard for me to pass
on Pook or Neighbors. So then I would probably turn
my phone to the second round. If maybe gent feil,
I'd even be comfortable with a Henry. So here's the answer.
I am probably more likely to invest in at minimum
one high running back. My hero is running back. And then,

(42:16):
like you said, I agree with you tap those wide receivers.
So if I have the eighth pick, and I don't
remember if you said it was a ten man, like,
give me one of those running backs at the first
or second round with a wide receiver. Third round, we're
probably going back to wide receiver. And then fourth and
fifth I'm open to still tapping wide receivers, but I'm
looking for a couple of those shots at running backs.
I want so like in theory here to start this out, here,

(42:39):
you go, let's say McCaffrey's at eight, and then you
come back around in the second and you get you know,
London or aj Brown, and then you you know, in
the third round, you're going to take another wide receiver.
Let's just call it like Dj Moore. I might look
at Traveon Henderson and the fourth to get that second
running back, and then I'm just tapping those wide receivers.
I'm like, please fall to me, Calvin Ridley, give me

(43:01):
Ricky Piersol. That's kind of a structure of how I
would approach it. Ericson where does it differ?

Speaker 5 (43:08):
I mean, I kind of agree with you for the
most part.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
I know, I just like the perception was talking about
how the receivers at the top of the board are
so so good, so good. I just I feel I
feel so I like want them so badly on my team,
And I understand that there's obviously a drop off at
running back, but I'm also I also understand that this
year's crop of running backs, with all the rookies, like

(43:32):
a lot of after week one, these rookies.

Speaker 5 (43:35):
Are going to be viewed very differently.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
I think like Gent is a round one pick, Hampton
is a round three pick, Henderson round four, r J.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
Harvey round five. These I feel like they're going to.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Move like all over the place, like either up or
down just base and they could all move up if
they all just smashing week one, and we're going to
be convinced like they all should have been like you know,
top two round running back picks or something along those lines.

Speaker 5 (43:56):
So look, I'm willing.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
To risk it a little bit and push running back
down the board. I also love Genty. I also, I mean,
I'm not anti Christian McCaffrey. I want to be transparent
with that. I'm definitely more anti Sequon Barkley this season,
But I also understand like when the fantasy playoffs come around,
like I'm very skeptical that McCaffrey's going to be part
of your team at that point, right, I think that
he can come out of the gates gun blazing, like

(44:19):
on fire. And something I've actually I watched my interest
in your thoughts. Something I've been toying with when it
comes to McCaffrey is like, yeah, you're drafting him, you
one of six, one, oost seven, et cetera. Week one comes,
you know he stays healthy. Just it's just one week.
If you only has to stay healthy for one week,
everyone gets convinced that he's back all the way wheels up,
and then you can trade him for anybody.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Yeah, if you can, I'm open to it. Sure, I'm hoping.

Speaker 5 (44:42):
I just thought it was something I was thinking about. Now.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
If I was only playing in one league, like, I
would still go with genty because again, I'm I want
to play the long term game. I think that gent
is the better long term bet for this year to
be there for you all seventeen weeks versus McCaffrey, who, yes,
could be better points per game.

Speaker 5 (45:00):
I'm fully admitted to that.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
But if he's out there during Fantasy playoffs like that
can only get you so far. I mean, I don't
think there is half the battle. But that's nothing else
I was thinking about.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
Yeah, I'll just be real quick because I want to
get one more questioning because we got to get at
the top of the hour. But I would say I
don't think I would take McCaffrey one to eight in
the idea that I'm going to immediately flip him. I
don't think that's a good idea, but I'm open if
you got him fell to the second round and you
want to do that.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
Another thing that is happening is eight Chan has fallen
like crazy. So maybe what you do is if like
a Neighbor's falls to eight, you take neighbors at eight.
You see if one of the other really awesome wide
receivers falls to you or a gent and if they don't,
you can pivot, take a little bit of a risk
on a hero running back like a Chan, especially in PPR,
and then you just jump back onto those wide receivers.
That's something you can do. Scooby. You've had your hand

(45:45):
for a while. We've only got like a minute or two,
so I want to make sure to get yours. So
what you got, Scooby?

Speaker 11 (45:50):
Hey, how's it going guys? Good dude, So just real
quick for context. I'm going a twelve man PPR ESPN format.
I have the third overall pick, and I was very
comfortable until I just brought this up up to the
Bock draft people. But is it too early to reach
for a Mario and Hampton that early third round pick?
I know my league, Well, and he will not come
back to that fourth or.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
You're saying in the you're saying in the high third
round pick, yeah, yeah, and this is twelfth team.

Speaker 11 (46:17):
He said, yeah, twelve team PPR ESPN format.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
Okay, Now, I don't think so it's gonna It's always
It's always based around like what's out there. Like if
you were like, well, I'm passing, I'm taking Hampton and
this is a horrible example, but like Brece Hall, but
like you know, maybe a Kien Williams or something is
out there. Maybe that's a little pushing it, but there
is a weird territory of running backs where like ken
Walker in the issues and Brace Hall and losing time,

(46:42):
and it's like those are common, like third round picks.
I don't think it's the worse thing. I would just
argue that I'll bet you a high third round pick.
There's like just better value sitting out there. But what
do you think, Erickson?

Speaker 3 (46:51):
I think round three is really polarizing this year. I
think there's a lot of ways that you can go
because that's also where you start to see elite quarterback.
I mean, if you want to take the safest player
on the board in round three, it's like Lamar Jackson
or Josh Allen exactly, like.

Speaker 5 (47:02):
Like that, like that's like the safest pick.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
I mean when again, like when you're looking at the
more like those running backs you just mentioned, like they
have some qualms about them. You know, Tray bick Bride's
another option there where you feel like pretty good about him,
but like like it's Garrett Wilson, it's JSN, it's T Higgins,
who I do. I feel better about T Higgins, but
like Garrett Wilson, I have definitely cooled on. Like I
don't know how you can feel like significantly better about

(47:27):
Garrett Wilson after the last month of Jets training camp
reports with the passing game just being like very very
luke warm at best. I would say about, you know,
what's Garrett Wilson's upside and really think about round three.
You know, is Garrett Wilson in a position where I
mean I still think that he can be you know,
around his ADP wide receiver fifteen area, but in Garrett
a position where if you reflect on your draft and

(47:49):
you're like, man, I lost my fantasy because I didn't
draft Garrett Wilson, Like.

Speaker 5 (47:54):
I just I don't think that's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (47:56):
So that doesn't necessarily mean that he's going to not
return his value, But for him to sed and bury you,
I don't think is necessarily in his range of outcomes
unless he really does take that DJ more level leap,
Like we saw a couple of years ago with Justin
Field and even that point that he was wide receiver six,
so he wasn't even a top five wide receiver with
Justin Fields. So I think that you could pass on Wilson.

(48:17):
Where's with Ole Marion Hampton? You're taking your shot, Like
there's a story to be told this year where Marrion
Hampton was the guy you need, you know, as a
first round rookie running back in a super talented class.
So I mean, if you would have taken him at
the end of round three, I would say a big
difference between taking them at the beginning of round three necessarily,
but just no, like if you want the safest route,
you should just take a quarterback.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
I think I think there's a there's a tier of
players like if a JSN or a AJ Brown, or
there's a couple of players like if they were to fall,
I do think that's something you would regret. But there
are so many players that have these little catiats where
if it's like I'm staring at like Tyreek Hill and
Garrett Wilson and Brice Hall, it's like, hey, you could
take your shot, but I also do and I do
think that you probably already planned this that you need

(48:59):
to be taken wide receivers beforehand.

Speaker 3 (49:01):
So yeah, someone that has also fallen a lot to
me I've noticed in round three, and it's because of
kind of like it's kind of coincided with like the
Chase Brown Rice who used to be like an auto
pick in round three for me and now he's going
in around two. Jonathan Taylor sometimes falls in a round
three and I get I kind of get why he's falling,
but I think that he's going to see enough volume

(49:22):
where he'll probably pay off a round three ADP where
I'm definitely more open to taking him because he's usually
been a round two guy, but he's fallen to me
in a couple spots where I'm like, well.

Speaker 5 (49:30):
I don't feel gret about it. I any of the
other guys.

Speaker 3 (49:31):
I'll just pick Jonathan Taylor bank three hundred carries and
take it home.

Speaker 5 (49:36):
And take my ball home with me.
