with the Chargers the Lions, the Texans, and the Chiefs.

Last ones out were the Panthers, who we decided to
leave out in favor of the Falcons, so it wouldn't
have made a difference. The four games we were totally
com to. Ever since Thursday, we're all loose the hers

Yeah, we knew it was the trap week, and we
somehow took four favorites that we loved and got smoked
on all four or one win, like you said, your
dog Atlanta that came through. And it's never a good
week where I think we had. I'm almost positive I
had Pittsburgh in with the hook at three and a half.
We switched them out for Carolina, and that switched out
Carolina for Atlanta.

plus five and a half in New England. It didn't

were down twenty one to seven in the first half
and Drake May kind of looked on third down like
he was becoming the scariest and most automatic play in football.
But like always, a freaky fumble leads to a touchdown.
It's twenty one to fourteen at halftime. I don't know

about you, but I still never felt great about the
Falcons in that game.

No, we got really lucky, but like we always said,
that's why you bet the number and trying not to
rationalize normal thinking Pennix. I mean, he just made so
mistakes in that game. Directly was playing so much better,
and he gave us a gift we needed that desperately needed.
That fumble totally flipped the game and you know, London

having three touchdowns again, I'm all about it, like that's
why you just played the number. I knew were gonna
have to get lucky with this one, but you said it.
You're down, you know, fourteen points need a lot of
luck to go away, and I think it was a
what a fourth and two they get that final touchdown.

Yeah, look they in the second half, they started the
second half of the field goal, they're up twenty four
to fourteen. That's when I started to feel a little
better because the Falcons did get a stand in that
first drive where the Patriots went down the field and
then they did stop them from getting in the end zone,
forced the field goal. The rest of the game, the

Patriots were interception and then I think three or four
punts like they all of a sudden just weren't effective.
And I don't know, you know, if you paid attention
or if you noticed if Drake May definitely wasn't as
effective as he was in the first half. But it
also seemed like they got a lot more conservative. They

were willing to let Atlanta try to get back into
the game, lean on their defense a little bit more.
Christian Gonzalez went out of the game at one point.
But man, the Patriots in the second half started to
look like the team that was regressing too closer to
what we thought they would be. But then they get
away with the win, and again we put the over

under on Vrabel and his coaching wins at like two
and a half. I think he's already at four. Like
the guy is just pulling rabbits out of the hat,
you know what I mean.

Yeah, And there was a game that Drake May as
well as he played, right, I think over two hundred
and fifty yards, two touchdowns.

He had the killer pick.

Yeah, and he had two funnels and only losing one
of them. So, like we said, they a lot of
things they try to give away. Like we talk all
the time, it's just really hard to be consistent in
this league and not mixed tupe of mistakes, and they
still rose above it. It's like you said, Rabel, it's
really impressive what they've done. And like we keep saying,
they have an easy schedule, but it's hard to win

these games and they just keep winning. So yeah, it's
it's pretty wild Patriots being the one seed. It's not
outside this realm. There's a path for them now. And
because again they keep winning these games, trap games they
shouldn't win, they keep winning. That's a really respectful team
right now in this Patriots team. Have you know, none
of us are gonna bet them against Mahomes or josh

anaeler Moore. Still, i'd be really excited if as a
Patriots fan, you're seeing huge, huge dividends right now, like
you said in Vrabel and what he brings to the
table with this team and all the wins he steals
for you.

Los Angeles Chargers at the Tennessee Titans. I think I
said three times this week do you know what I'm
going to say? No, Three times I said this week,
this is the exact spot when we always play the Chargers.
Entity is the exact spot where they always let us down.

year where we are more out of sync with where
we are betting them the week that they don't cover,

On the day we won with the Falcons, we lost
with the Chargers the Lions, the Texans, and the Chiefs.

Last ones out were the Panthers, who we decided to
leave out in favor of the Falcons, so it wouldn't
have made a difference. The four games we were totally
com to. Ever since Thursday, we're all loose the hers

Yeah, we knew it was the trap week, and we
somehow took four favorites that we loved and got smoked

We switched them out for Carolina, and that switched out
Carolina for Atlanta.

just talk about the one that worked, which was Atlanta
plus five and a half in New England. It didn't

look like it was going that well for us. They
were down twenty one to seven in the first half
and Drake May kind of looked on third down like
he was becoming the scariest and most automatic play in football.
But like always, a freaky fumble leads to a touchdown.
It's twenty one to fourteen at halftime. I don't know

about you, but I still never felt great about the
Falcons in that game.

No, we got really lucky, but like we always said,
that's why you bet the number and trying not to
rationalize normal thinking Pennix. I mean, he just made so
mistakes in that game. Directly was playing so much better,
and he gave us a gift we needed that desperately needed.
That fumble totally flipped the game and you know, London

having three touchdowns again, I'm all about it, like that's
why you just played the number. I knew were gonna
have to get lucky with this one, but you said it.
You're down, you know, fourteen points need a lot of
luck to go away, and I think it was a
what a fourth and two they get that final touchdown.

And yeah, like I always say, I try not to
be stubborn when smart people are telling me I'm making
a mistake and I listen, like I I just that

was so scared of, Right that Pannix came out just
to not look and Synk looked a little rusty, but yeah,
big Big drives by him at the end of the game.
It's he needed the turnovers, right, but you know we didn't.

He didn't make the mistakes. Drake May did. Kept in
that game. But once again, this Patriots team, it's it's crazy.

Like another game they won probably shouldn't have won either,

Keep winning these games they probably shouldn't be winning.

Yeah, look they in the second half, they started the
second half of the field goal, they're up twenty four
to fourteen. That's when I started to feel a little
better because the Falcons did get a stand in that
first drive where the Patriots went down the field and
then they did stop them from getting in the end zone,
forced the field goal. The rest of the game, the

Patriots were interception and then I think three or four
punts like they all of a sudden just weren't effective.
And I don't know, you know, if you paid attention
or if you noticed if Drake May definitely wasn't as
effective as he was in the first half. But it
also seemed like they got a lot more conservative. They

were willing to let Atlanta try to get back into
the game, lean on their defense a little bit more.
Christian Gonzalez went out of the game at one point.
But man, the Patriots in the second half started to
look like the team that was regressing too closer to
what we thought they would be. But then they get
away with the win, and again we put the over

under on Vrabel and his coaching wins at like two
and a half. I think he's already at four. Like
the guy is just pulling rabbits out of the hat,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Yeah, And there was a game that Drake May as
well as he played, right, I think over two hundred
and fifty yards, two touchdowns.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
He had the killer pick.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Yeah, and he had two funnels and only losing one
of them. So, like we said, they a lot of
things they try to give away. Like we talk all
the time, it's just really hard to be consistent in
this league and not mixed tupe of mistakes, and they
still rose above it. It's like you said, Rabel, it's
really impressive what they've done. And like we keep saying,
they have an easy schedule, but it's hard to win

these games and they just keep winning. So yeah, it's
it's pretty wild Patriots being the one seed. It's not
outside this realm. There's a path for them now. And
because again they keep winning these games, trap games they
shouldn't win, they keep winning. That's a really respectful team
right now in this Patriots team. Have you know, none
of us are gonna bet them against Mahomes or josh

anaeler Moore. Still, i'd be really excited if as a
Patriots fan, you're seeing huge, huge dividends right now, like
you said in Vrabel and what he brings to the
table with this team and all the wins he steals
for you.

Los Angeles Chargers at the Tennessee Titans. I think I
said three times this week do you know what I'm
going to say? No, Three times I said this week,
this is the exact spot when we always play the Chargers.
Entity is the exact spot where they always let us down.

I don't think there's a team in the league this
year where we are more out of sync with where
we are betting them the week that they don't cover,
and we are afraid to bet them the weeks that
they do cover. This game, their offense, their defense, and
I think gave up ten points. Yeah, but they gave

first drive, and then they gave up a punt return,
so all of a sudden they're down fourteen to seven.
They should have killed this team. It shouldn't have even
been a sweat, and they still had a chance to
cover at the end of the game and let the

the first time the cover. The Titans have learned how
to sneak through the back door in about two years.

of it and sell find our way.

the Chargers went up by ten on a fifteen play,
ninety nine yard drive in which Justin Herbert realized, dude,
I'm fucking sick of this. And he had multiple plays
where he just took the ball and ran and didn't

even pretend to say it to slide. He's like, I'm six'
five to forty And i'm going to run people. Over
and he, leveled just totally trucked a defensive lineman to
get what was, it like a second and nine or
something like. That and then later in that drive had
another drive to convert the first down and scored a rushing.
Touchdown like he's just he just had. It SO i

totally believed. It they just needed to make one, stop one, STOP.
