Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. Yo, what up, guys? Hey, NFL Wildcard weekend
is upon us, and our friends at hard Rock Bet
has got you covered with all of the playoff problems
that you need from the wildcard. Hey, you can even
pick who you think will win the super Bowl. It's
easy when the Saints are in the super Bowl because

(00:22):
anytime we're in the or sorry, when we're in the playoffs,
because anytime we're in the playoffs, we are favorite to
win the super Bowl. Unfortunately, this year, Tyler Shuck didn't
start playing early enough for us to make the super Bowl.
But I digress, I digress. Let's talk about the NFL
Wildcard weekend. There are some big games in the Wildcard weekend,
So I'm giving you my picks, so then you can

(00:43):
go and download the hard Rock Bet app to use
my picks as your picks and try to cash in.
I guess, so here we go. We got the Rams
and the Panthers. I'm giving you the Rams because the
Panthers they're terrible, but they just got lucky because they're
in the NFC SOL with the rest of us, and
we're all tar so they're in the playoffs by default.
When a whole bunch of bad teams are playing for

(01:04):
a playoffs spot. Somebody's gotta go. Hopefully it don't look
like James Madison in the college football playoffs this year.
The Packers and the Bears. I mean, the Bears just
beat the Packers, but that can go either way. But
if I'm gonna lean in one direction, I'm gonna lean
with the team that actually won the last game. I'm
taking the Chicago Bears, the Chargers, and the Patriots. The

(01:25):
Patriots have proven to beat the Patriots of old again.
They are fantastic. What a team. I will take the
New England Patriots, the Bills and the Jaguars. Guys, it
is universally thought that this is the best chance for
Josh Allen. So I'm gonna think and say that the
Bills will get the job done behind the arm of
the great Josh Allen and the forty nine ers in

(01:48):
the Eagles, Hey, I hate it. I hate it, but
I live in the Bay and when they got beat
the way they got beat last weekend, I know that
the Niners will have something to prove. So bet how
on the San Francisco forty nine Ers at Wildcard weekend? Hey,
once again, guys, go to hard Rock Bet download that
app at the app store. All the playoff props. I

(02:10):
mean so many different MVP Playoff super Bowl MVP, whoever
wins the Super Bowl. You have so many different options.
So just download that app and say DC cinch payable
and bonus bets is not a cash offer offered by
the Seminal Tribe of Florida and Florida offered by Siminal
hard Rock Digital, LLC. In all other states. You must

(02:32):
be twenty one or older and physically present in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana,
New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, or Virginia to play. Terms and
conditions apply. Concerned about gambling in Florida called one eight
eight eight, ad mit it in Indiana, if you are

(02:52):
someone you know has a gambling problem and wants help,
call one eight hundred and nine with it. And if
you have a gambling problem called one eight hundred gambler. Well,
some guys, Welcome to a brand new episode at DCTV,
and welcome to our brand new year twenty twenty six.

(03:15):
Ben is back. All is good in the world, and
today we have a new episode brought to you by
Total Wireless, the official wireless provider of you have seen
there in your corner when unlimited five G data, that
will not slow you down? All right? So you know,
news broke the other day that John Jones and I
are coaching against each other in our global reality show.

(03:39):
I got some background information for you. So a few
months ago, I received a text message from a number
I did not recognize. When I get the text message,
I see that it's a video. But all the communications
are in What's App, which I don't check very often.
I checked the WhatsApp. I see in WhatsApp a message,

(04:01):
it's a video. I look in the video. The first
thing that pops on my screen is a Russian guy
and then he pans to the right and is John Jones. Look,
you guys know that the one thing that I want
to do always is compete against John Jones anything, right.
I don't love the idea of going around him. But

(04:23):
if John Jones learned anything over the time that him
and I were interacting and fighting, is just challenge me.
If you challenge me, you know that I'm going to respond.
How is that response gonna go? You don't know, but
you do know that if you challenge me. I am
going to respond. John Jones challenges me. It's it's Alfredo

(04:45):
and Jones. Alfredo says, Daniel, I have a message for you,
Jones and says, come over here and coach against me
and alv Global. Maybe you can get one what what hey?
Of course, like I said, I've never ran from the
idea that to do one of the fights. Obviously, there

(05:06):
were a whole bunch of stuff around those fights that
makes for it to be as cloudy as it is.
Uh So, our official record obviously is one and one.
I'm talking one lost by me, one no contest. So
I get to thinking with my team, like, am I
gonna do this? Am I gonna go and be around

(05:26):
this man for you know, a month? What is this
going to entail? What is the process? I, in my
limited understanding of what the show is, envisioned an ultimate fighter.
Who's gonna be the better coach? So I start putting
my staff together. I get my boxing coach, I get
my kickboxing coach, I get my jiu jitsu coach. We're

(05:48):
gonna go to Thailand and beat John Jones's team in
a mixed martial arts competition. I don't know. I don't know.
My knowledge of this show was seeing the Diaz get choked,
which gives me an idea it's a martial arts competition,

(06:12):
seeing Al Jamain and him doing it, I go to
do it, and I see Jones. I have said now
that when Jones and I were fighting, we could not
be around each other without rushing at each other to fight.
I am forty five years, forty six years, forty six
years old. I'm forty six years old. I don't even

(06:34):
know old I am anymore. Jones has to be almost
forty thirty eight thirty nine, so that need to rush
and fight at every turn is gone. We were as
cordial as we can be, when in reality there's a
lot of underlying things between us that will never die,

(06:55):
just won't die. So when I see the video the
other day of Jones saying, you know, it would give
us an opportunity to become friends. Him coming out here
would give us both an opportunities and maybe stut of friendship,
I don't know that he believes that, and honestly don't
know that that's what he wants. I don't know that's
what he wants. I have said time and time again

(07:18):
that the authenticity that surrounds John Jones can come into question.
So what we hear may not be necessarily what he means, right,
What we hear may not necessarily be what he truly
means right. It's it's a I feel like it might

(07:39):
be a little bit of a defense mechanism. I'm the
bigger guy. Look at me extending the olive branch. It
was all the way back to the events where like
you know, we're waving at each other. Now, all these
videos are coming up whenever we're like talking on the phone.
It's like so many different uncomfortable situations. But John Jones

(07:59):
the everyweight champion in the world, and I have a
job to do as a broadcaster on that show. We
get there and guys, I will tell you this without
telling you what happens on the show. It is as
wild a show as I have ever been involved with
in my entire life. I've never done or been around

(08:23):
anything like this in my life. It is crazy some
of the things that happen over the course of that show.
It's also crazy to see John and I in the
same situation where at times it's cordial and a lot
of times we're kind of just arguing. The whole time.
We just argue. It's what happens whenever we're around each other.

(08:47):
We're just arguing, you know, outside of doing the show together,
going out to Thailand, figuring out when I got there
that it's not an MMA competition, it's actually boxing with
MMA gloves. So now I got a jiu jitsu coach's
there and he doesn't necessarily have the ability to teach.

(09:13):
It's very different watching my coaching style versus Joneses coaching style.
The amount of time spit with the guys, it's like
so different in those ways. It's also hard not to
continue to challenge each other. There were multiple occasions in
the midst of the time spit together where Jones and

(09:35):
I argued about fighting each other in a boxing match,
to which I agreed to do if it's just boxing.
We also and the one that caught far the most
was the wrestling thing, because I said that I would
wrestle him in real American freestyle wrestling and I would
beat him. That stems from John earlier saying I would

(09:57):
wrestle Daniel in a exhibition or a grappling match for charity.
That was something he said prior. Luis find that clip
that throwing it in the video so that the people
see that I'm not making it up. I'm not making
this up. There's a desire, right regardless of the respect
for the fighting ability, there's a desire to compete against

(10:19):
each other in something. I think that is honestly the
most telling part of the relationship between myself and John Jones,
that no matter what it is in terms of respect
for skill, respect for ability. You guys know, in terms
of a person, him and I will never be or

(10:39):
see eye to eye, But in terms of the fighter,
I feel like between us there's a need to compete,
and truthfully, in the heart of it, in the heart
of the fighting, it was actually a gift to have
someone with that level of skill to want to compete

(11:03):
with that much and have that need for competition, and
that still sits today. It's still in there. So while
maybe we're not fighting each other physically like we did
or throwing stuff at each other, it's still chirp, chirp,
box me, wrestle me, grapple me, do something to make

(11:23):
us be on the opposite side of the line to
where him and I come together and we compete our fight.
Gotta do something now, the idea that John Jones and
I would wrestle a match, like literally get into a
stance and wrestle a match. This is the world champion,
Islama gadja. He knows. I mean, it's really hard to

(11:45):
understand that even at forty six years old, forty six,
I still coach wrestling. I still wrestle three days a
week with the kids. I'm still drilling, I'm still doing moves.
I don't understand how this idea that I could lose

(12:09):
the wrestling matches out there, but I guess we could
find out. And guess what, I'm not the only one
talking about a wrestling match between John Jones and I.
I'm just the only one doing it publicly. Stay tuned
because if he steps on that line, I'm checking this
dude ten zero. Like I said, And watch the reality

(12:31):
watch out Global. It was interesting, it was fun, and
he called me out. He knows, all you gotta do
is challenge DC do to show up. That's exactly what
I did. So watch it and uh but yeah, for
the rest of my life, there's gonna be a desire
to compete with John Jones, and I'm okay with that

(12:51):
until next time. Guys Life, subscribe, tell your friend to
tell their friend that DC's got a YouTube channel. And
in twenty twenty six, we're gonna make it even bigger
than twenty twenty five, which was easily the biggest year
that we've ever had. Until next time, guys, Peace,
