the wise guys, I'd say that's worth a first round pick.
And the Jets don't have a top five pick. They
have a middle of the first round pick. So is
Aaron Rodgers, a first ballot Hall of Famer who two
years ago is the MVP. Is Aaron Rodgers worth a
middle of the first round pick? Hell? Yes he is.

Jalen Ramsey got a third, and he's coming off a
bad year and he's a corner. You tell me Aaron's
not worth a first round pick. And if I'm green Bay,

I also believe they deserve a first round pick just

long he's gonna play, I think it's fair for green
Bay to ask for a conditional second pick in the

a second or a third. But if Aaron played for
four years and all I gets a second round pick, hey, right,
that's not fair. And again, Aaron had leverage for years
and used it. Green Bay finally briefly has leverage. They
are gonna use it. I totally support the Packers here

gonna take a retreat. I may retire. If you have
power and use it, people when they get it are
gonna use it. And so I think it's completely fair
to ask for the Jets first round pick this year
with a conditional second pick somewhere next year. Now, whatever

a two, I'd be okay with it. But if the
Jets are like, now, we'll give you a two, it's
Aaron Rodgers. He's literally changing the line. You're also desperate
and the Packers aren't. So there's a reason Cleveland paid
that deal to Deshaun Watson. They were desperate. Albert Breer
earlier on why Aaron really wants to keep playing. If

you come back and acknowledge that controversial opinion was right?

at ESPN, a lot of crap, and I didn't know
if he was right or not, But I didn't criticize
him for it because I figured he had a source
or two or three when he said defensive tackle. Jalen
Carter at Georgia's got some character issues. The media avalanche started,

how dare you he's a young man? Todd was right,
Jalen Carter just came in out of shape to his
pro day. Bro, you had one job being shape, he'd
make millions. Last three weeks, he's been very right. In
three weeks, Jalen Carter got caught in a drag racing

incident that killed two people. He left the scene. Two
people died, he knew. I'd say that's a character red flag.
He also refused to work out at the combine. That's concerning.
He also recently, I just read this morning, got pulled
over and find a thousand dollars for another speeding incident.
Oh and yesterday at pro day he came in noticeably

out of shape and couldn't finish his drills. It's not
the end of the world coming in nine pounds heavy,
but that's not one red flag. That's a multitude four
or five red flags. Character issues. If you get caught
drag racing and two people die, yeah, that's a problem.

And if I said this earlier this week, go look
at the Pro Bowl team in the NFL this year.
Do it right now, Google it. Not a lot of
character issue, guys, Nah, it's not a lot of character issues.
So this should drop Jalen Carter in the draft. I
think he's the best player in college football, but it
now worries me. But we do this all the time

you triggered an idea? So you said that they should

one this year for a Hall of Famer score. Next year,
they should ask for a conditional pick. They're probably asking
for a one that maybe a little much. I think
a two or a three is very fair. You know
what's more fair. We'll give you a two this year
and a conditional one next year. You're desperate, I'm not

mind what's wrong with the conditional one next year and
a two this year for sure, because that two next
year could fall and be a three, four, five if
he doesn't play a lot. If you weren't desperate, I'd listen,
you are. I'm not desperate. We see Lamar Jackson, Matt
Ryan's on the table. You gotta deal with the Rogers
fall out. It's like a nuclear bomb going off in
your town, in your front office. Good luck with that.

You're gonna have to clean house if you got to
pay Rodgers if he retires. I already got my replacement,
and everybody likes him. He's nice. If they like him
and he's nice, why didn't he play last year? Oh,

got a great second round pick and a conditional one,
meaning Rogers has to actually play and say healthy and

really think about what happened to the Bengals in that

loss to the Chiefs, what do you pin that loss on?
I would say the offensive ineptitude. They could not move
the football in Kansas City, They couldn't get it done
in the fourth quarter, right, Chris Jones, good pass rush

because on one of the seminal plays there late in
the game, they moved Chris Jones outside, the Bengals weren't
ready and he bull rushed and got it Burrow. So yeah,

had an injury right late in the season. I mean,
they're places you do not want to overspend safety, linebacker,

so I think if he has one year, it's okay,

year window next up. Rogers has a better chance to
win the MVP with the Jets than the Packers. Well

signs Trevor Lawrence. So that's that's not it's not a

knock on him. I mean, Russell Wilson with Peyton's going
to have better numbers now justin Herbert has Alan more.
I mean just they're just too many great players. I
think even if he had a really good year, there's
just too many great quarterbacks right the Jet will be
Aaron Rodgers' final team he plays with before retiring. I'm
gonna say bye because he said he was ninety percent
into retiring, and I don't think he's a bounce around guy.

I could see it being a one and done. I'd
probably say greater than fifty percent chance being a one
and done, but I don't see Aaron. Maybe if a
West Coast team handed in like the Rams, a really
good situation, but this feels like Jets and then back
to golfing and hanging out all right. Alan Lazard will
lead the Jets in receiving touchdown six foot five red
zone target. I'm gonna say whole because last year he

had an abnormally good year. He'd never had more than
eight receiving touchdowns in a single season, so Lazard had
his best year because why because the Packers had rookie
wide receivers and Davante Adams left, so they really needed
and targeted him a lot. I don't think he's gonna
get targeted. They got a good tight end and too
good young receivers and they probably draft another receiver, so

I think last year he got a lot of looks
he won't get in New York. Right, take your time
on this one. The Jets will have a better record
than the Packers. Jordan Love at quarterback for the Packers, obviously,
Aaron Rodgers with the Jets. I told Ryan during the break,
I think both are going to end up nine and eight,
So hold their schedules. Tough Jet schedules. Tough. AFC East

is arguably a tougher division. AFC Conference is tougher. So
if you're asking me, will the Jets be better than
the Packers, my answer is yes, But will they have
a better record than the Packers? I would say no.

Jordan's Love will be a top five quarterback in the
NFC in his first year as a starter. Sell So,

I mean, come on, we don't even know he has
one career start, and he, by the way, he struggled
his last year at Utah State. So I think I
think I'm trusting the Packers brain trust. I think he's
gonna be fine. Okay, we know you and I know
he's not Mahomes or Borrow because they wouldn't have signed
Aaron to an extension if they saw that at practice.

We also know He's not Zac Wilson, or they wouldn't
move off him. So he is somewhere between pretty good
okay and not okay enough. I mean he's somewhere in
that mix. Jordan Love and the Packers. When the NFC north,
He's gonna be better next year we would have been,
I'd say hold on that. I think the Lions are
gonna be better. I think the Bears are absolutely gonna

be better. Minnesota's probably gonna be a little worse. Christian Watson,
for the record, should be better. Well, they're gonna be.
They're gonna have more web. Romeo Dobbs is going to
be more productive. Going from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love,
I don't know. I watched I watched Jordan Plaic this

year and that one start Christian wat and then to touchdown,
didn't he I don't I don't remember that. Aaron Rodgers
dropping guying balls in buckets forty yards down the field
for Watson, I don't know Loves doing that. Finally, Jordan's
Love will have a better year than Aaron Rodgers. Celle.
I think Aaron's gonna play with a chip on his shoulder,
be mad, And I think the Jets. Remember, the Jets

O line is not a catastrophe like the Giants. They
had three different players hurt. So the Jets O line
there's some players like Austin Barry Tucker, there's some I
really like him a lot, but they had guys banged up,
So the Jets O line is not in a total rebuild.
I think they should address it again. We just saw
they went after Orlando Brown. But the Jets old line,

if it's healthy, will be a middle of the pack
O line. The Giants old line last year was bottom
of the league. So and then in the Packers. By
the way, Jordan loves gonna have a better ole line
than Aaron Rodgers. But Aaron Rodgers a lot better than Jordan.
We've seen some of these tackles come out of the
draft and instantly have an impact. Rested works very very
good out of the gate. So maybe if the Jets
keep their first round pick, they get alignement Yeah, and

plug in play and the average. Yeah. If you look
at where the Jets are drafting, there's several guys. I
think the Georgia tackle I've targeted as an Ohio state
and Georgia have offensive tackles Northwestern does. So the Jets
do not want to give up that number one pick.
So let me ask you. So, they don't want to
give up the number one pick because they want an
offensive lineman. That's their number one thing, that's a pass rusher.
(39:24):
Like now, listen, hold on Jalen Carter. You talked about it.
They don't need a defensive lineman. That's not there is
Robert Sali's DNA. He wants defensive lineman. I wouldn't do it.
But if Jalen Carter falls down, he's not going to
not that far. You just said he's fallen earlier, but
he's not fallen to fifteen. I'm talking falling nine ten.
So my takeaway what the Jets. The reason the Jets
(39:46):
don't want to give up first round pick is they
want to tackle. And that's very reasonable. Uh, you know,
Green Bay would love another first They're going to get
the best tight end or the first or second best
wide receiver. So if I was the Jets and said,
we're not giving you the first round pick, that's off
the table because we need to tackle for Aaron Rodgers,

then let me ask you, is it fair for the
Packers to say I want two seconds guaranteed, and one
of your receivers get out of it, close the door,
hang up the phone, lose my nuse, lose my number,
and lose my number. Two's end a receiver. Okay, so
I get two two's guaranteed. Though, for Aaron Rodgers, I

think any any second pick after the first pick, after
the second pick, second round pick, that next pick has
to be conditional one one second round pick for Aaron
the conditional if Rogers plays all the snaps and uh
he comes back for another year. Yeah, you get it first.
I'll give that up. Okay, so you do a second
this year, in the first next year, a conditional first
next year, because listen, get any players. What's that? How

Give up? No, you're not getting another starter. Seems greedy.

You're gonna have leverage at some time in your life.
Is an individual Generally companies have it, But at some
point you may have leverage. You know what I mean.
Your wife gets a great job or your husband gets
a great job, and you're like, God, I don't have

because they can come back and they won't forget it.

So green Bay has not forgotten all the times that
they've just been sitting waiting for air and to make
a decision. And green Bay has a quarterback and the
Jets don't, so they can be incredibly patient. Mike Florio
printed this today. Packers want a first round pick, and
more so, the packers want a lot for Rogers. According

to Mike Florio, the packers want more than a first
round pick. Okay, now, now I'll tell you this, and
Mike wrote this, it feels personal at this point. Yeah,
of course it does. And stringing them along for years.
When you have power, be careful how you use it.
So now now the question is the question is what

is fair with Aaron Rodgers? So what I think is
fair if let me be the GM of the Green
Bay Packers, I get your first round pick. If you
don't think Aaron Rodgers is worth a first round pick.
According to the odds, the Jets are now over under
his ten. So he's five more wins the minute or
how many wins they get last year, seven, he's three
(04:21):
more wins. He walks in the door minimum. According to
the wise guys, I'd say that's worth a first round pick.
And the Jets don't have a top five pick. They
have a middle of the first round pick. So is
Aaron Rodgers, a first ballot Hall of Famer who two
years ago is the MVP. Is Aaron Rodgers worth a
middle of the first round pick? Hell? Yes he is.
(04:43):
Jalen Ramsey got a third, and he's coming off a
bad year and he's a corner. You tell me Aaron's
not worth a first round pick. And if I'm green Bay,
I absolutely demand that non starter that's what we're getting now.
I also believe they deserve a first round pick just
(05:03):
for this year. And since Green Bay doesn't know how
long he's gonna play, I think it's fair for green
Bay to ask for a conditional second pick in the
following draft. If Aaron comes back for a second year,
then we get another pick. Now, that one I don't think.
I'd say has to be a first round pick, maybe

a second or a third. But if Aaron played for
four years and all I gets a second round pick, hey, right,
that's not fair. And again, Aaron had leverage for years
and used it. Green Bay finally briefly has leverage. They
are gonna use it. I totally support the Packers here

is not anti Aaron, but he strung him along. I'm
gonna take a retreat. I may retire. If you have
power and use it, people when they get it are
gonna use it. And so I think it's completely fair
to ask for the Jets first round pick this year
with a conditional second pick somewhere next year. Now, whatever

that is, I'd want a one, but if I got
a two, I'd be okay with it. But if the
Jets are like, now, we'll give you a two, it's
Aaron Rodgers. He's literally changing the line. You're also desperate
and the Packers aren't. So there's a reason Cleveland paid
that deal to Deshaun Watson. They were desperate. Albert Breer
earlier on why Aaron really wants to keep playing. If

you were ninety percent out and then all of a
sudden you're back all in, well, it's the only reason
you're coming back now for revenge And like, look like
some of the questions with great with the Packers over
the last year, questions of how engaged Aaron Rodgers was right,
Like they really would have liked to have had him
there in April and May and June last year, and

they felt like part of the reason why Christian Watson
and Romeo Dobbs came along later in the year rather
than earlier in the year was because they hadn't had
those reps with Aaron Rodgers during OTA's and mini camps
and all that other stuff. So, like, my question is
going to be going forward, what level of engagement or
the Jets getting from Aaron Rodgers And if revenge is

a motivator, does that level of engagement maintain over time?
I want to talk about a college football player, Jalen Carter. Now,
one of the things the media does and I don't
like it, is the media is great at taking a
comment and criticizing a politician, a CEO, a media person.
(07:40):
They're great at that. That's easy. But what happens if
that person is right? Do you retract the opinion? Do
you come back and acknowledge that controversial opinion was right?
Now the media doesn't. The media does a lousy job
at that. All of us are great at ripping people,
but when they're right and we're wrong, we should address that.

That's fair. So Todd mcshaye got a lot of crap
at ESPN, a lot of crap, and I didn't know
if he was right or not, But I didn't criticize
him for it because I figured he had a source
or two or three when he said defensive tackle. Jalen
Carter at Georgia's got some character issues. The media avalanche started,
(08:24):
how dare you he's a young man? Todd was right,
Jalen Carter just came in out of shape to his
pro day. Bro, you had one job being shape, he'd
make millions. Last three weeks, he's been very right. In
three weeks, Jalen Carter got caught in a drag racing
(08:45):
incident that killed two people. He left the scene. Two
people died, he knew. I'd say that's a character red flag.
He also refused to work out at the combine. That's concerning.
He also recently, I just read this morning, got pulled
over and find a thousand dollars for another speeding incident.
Oh and yesterday at pro day he came in noticeably
(09:08):
out of shape and couldn't finish his drills. It's not
the end of the world coming in nine pounds heavy,
but that's not one red flag. That's a multitude four
or five red flags. Character issues. If you get caught
drag racing and two people die, yeah, that's a problem.

And if I said this earlier this week, go look
at the Pro Bowl team in the NFL this year.
Do it right now, Google it. Not a lot of
character issue, guys, Nah, it's not a lot of character issues.
So this should drop Jalen Carter in the draft. I
think he's the best player in college football, but it
now worries me. But we do this all the time
(09:50):
and I try not to do it. But I've done
it before too, so I'm to blame. We are great
at criticizing, but when we are wrong on this. I
created a segment calling right Collin wrong every Monday. Takes
about seven eight minutes. It's the most popular segment I
do every week. We got to be able to say, hey,
I whipped on this, I made a mistake. I'm wrong,

We're all wrong, you're wrong, I'm wrong, but we have
to admit it. We don't do that a lot. We
are great at levying criticism, are we great at looking
ourselves in the mirror? Todd McShay took a lot of
heat Todd mcshaye was right. There's been a lot of
stuff going on last three weeks. When I'm talking to
people in the NFL, which I do every night now
until the draft, this comes up. It's like, yeah, that's

that's probably that's probably somebody I'm not going to draft.
There you go, and he's a great player. He's a great,
great college football player. Yeah, sad story with Carter. Can
I go back to your Packers Jets theory because something
you triggered an idea? So you said that they should
ask for a conditional one next year. No, I don't know.

I said additional two next year, right. I said a
one this year for a Hall of Famer score. Next year,
they should ask for a conditional pick. They're probably asking
for a one that maybe a little much. I think
a two or a three is very fair. You know
what's more fair. We'll give you a two this year
and a conditional one next year. You're desperate, I'm not

mind what's wrong with the conditional one next year and
a two this year for sure, because that two next
year could fall and be a three, four, five if
he doesn't play a lot. If you weren't desperate, I'd listen,
you are. I'm not desperate. We see Lamar Jackson, Matt
Ryan's on the table. You gotta deal with the Rogers
fall out. It's like a nuclear bomb going off in
your town, in your front office. Good luck with that.

You're gonna have to clean house if you got to
pay Rodgers if he retires. I already got my replacement,
and everybody likes him. He's nice. If they like him
and he's nice, why didn't he play last year? Oh,
that's right, because Rogers was really good. Oh okay, listen,
the second round pick this year is very good. You
got a great second round pick and a conditional one,
meaning Rogers has to actually play and say healthy and
Rogers has to actually, you know, come back for year two.

That's not too much to ask. It's not too much
to ask, And if you had power and leverage, I
would be forced to take it. I ask for things
all the time from my bosses. Yeah, it wouldn't be
outrageous for me to ask certain things. So I agree
with you a two an app but I'm not gonna
do it. That's why it's being held up because I

got my guy in the building, and you got Zach Wilson.
We don't have Zach Wilson. He's not in a discussion.
There's plenty of you, by the way, marginal quarterbacks on
the market, and you got star players. Well listen can
painting for Aaron publicly and hate Zach Wilson publicly. So
I am an ownership group of a soccer teava in Mexico, Okay,
And this happens in the offseason. We've got to have

discussions over players. And obviously you know certain guys want
certain players and the coach's philosophy, and it is a
difficult decision. But if I am Woody Johnson and I
give up two number ones, just just forget about the franchise,
it's gonna be over. You're not two number ones for
a guy who maybe commits for a year. Colin, come on, well,
thirty nine, by the way, what was his injury last

year that caused him to not play so great? Didn't
you have it some thumb? Or was that last year?
Oh right, thirty nine getting up there in age. Jets
don't have a great offensive line, and then you if
you imagine worst case scenario, Rogers gets hurt. Isn't good

six win team. So now your next year's pick top
ten going to the Packers. Hell out of you're not

giving up for Aaron Rodgers is a first round pick.

year window next up. Rogers has a better chance to

signs Trevor Lawrence. So that's that's not it's not a

knock on him. I mean, Russell Wilson with Peyton's going
to have better numbers now justin Herbert has Alan more.
I mean just they're just too many great players. I
think even if he had a really good year, there's
just too many great quarterbacks right the Jet will be
Aaron Rodgers' final team he plays with before retiring. I'm
gonna say bye because he said he was ninety percent
into retiring, and I don't think he's a bounce around guy.

I could see it being a one and done. I'd
probably say greater than fifty percent chance being a one
and done, but I don't see Aaron. Maybe if a
West Coast team handed in like the Rams, a really
good situation, but this feels like Jets and then back
to golfing and hanging out all right. Alan Lazard will
lead the Jets in receiving touchdown six foot five red
zone target. I'm gonna say whole because last year he

had an abnormally good year. He'd never had more than
eight receiving touchdowns in a single season, so Lazard had
his best year because why because the Packers had rookie
wide receivers and Davante Adams left, so they really needed
and targeted him a lot. I don't think he's gonna
get targeted. They got a good tight end and too
good young receivers and they probably draft another receiver, so

I think last year he got a lot of looks
he won't get in New York. Right, take your time
on this one. The Jets will have a better record
than the Packers. Jordan Love at quarterback for the Packers, obviously,
Aaron Rodgers with the Jets. I told Ryan during the break,
I think both are going to end up nine and eight,
So hold their schedules. Tough Jet schedules. Tough. AFC East

is arguably a tougher division. AFC Conference is tougher. So
if you're asking me, will the Jets be better than
the Packers, my answer is yes, But will they have
a better record than the Packers? I would say no.

Jordan's Love will be a top five quarterback in the
NFC in his first year as a starter. Sell So,

I mean, come on, we don't even know he has
one career start, and he, by the way, he struggled
his last year at Utah State. So I think I
think I'm trusting the Packers brain trust. I think he's
gonna be fine. Okay, we know you and I know
he's not Mahomes or Borrow because they wouldn't have signed
Aaron to an extension if they saw that at practice.

We also know He's not Zac Wilson, or they wouldn't
move off him. So he is somewhere between pretty good
okay and not okay enough. I mean he's somewhere in
that mix. Jordan Love and the Packers. When the NFC north,
He's gonna be better next year we would have been,
I'd say hold on that. I think the Lions are
gonna be better. I think the Bears are absolutely gonna

be better. Minnesota's probably gonna be a little worse. Christian Watson,
for the record, should be better. Well, they're gonna be.
They're gonna have more web. Romeo Dobbs is going to
be more productive. Going from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love,
I don't know. I watched I watched Jordan Plaic this

year and that one start Christian wat and then to touchdown,
didn't he I don't I don't remember that. Aaron Rodgers
dropping guying balls in buckets forty yards down the field
for Watson, I don't know Loves doing that. Finally, Jordan's
Love will have a better year than Aaron Rodgers. Celle.
I think Aaron's gonna play with a chip on his shoulder,
be mad, And I think the Jets. Remember, the Jets

O line is not a catastrophe like the Giants. They
had three different players hurt. So the Jets O line
there's some players like Austin Barry Tucker, there's some I
really like him a lot, but they had guys banged up,
So the Jets O line is not in a total rebuild.
I think they should address it again. We just saw
they went after Orlando Brown. But the Jets old line,

if it's healthy, will be a middle of the pack
O line. The Giants old line last year was bottom
of the league. So and then in the Packers. By
the way, Jordan loves gonna have a better ole line
than Aaron Rodgers. But Aaron Rodgers a lot better than Jordan.
We've seen some of these tackles come out of the
draft and instantly have an impact. Rested works very very
good out of the gate. So maybe if the Jets
keep their first round pick, they get alignement Yeah, and

plug in play and the average. Yeah. If you look
at where the Jets are drafting, there's several guys. I
think the Georgia tackle I've targeted as an Ohio state
and Georgia have offensive tackles Northwestern does. So the Jets
do not want to give up that number one pick.
So let me ask you. So, they don't want to
give up the number one pick because they want an
offensive lineman. That's their number one thing, that's a pass rusher.
(39:24):
Like now, listen, hold on Jalen Carter. You talked about it.
They don't need a defensive lineman. That's not there is
Robert Sali's DNA. He wants defensive lineman. I wouldn't do it.
But if Jalen Carter falls down, he's not going to
not that far. You just said he's fallen earlier, but
he's not fallen to fifteen. I'm talking falling nine ten.
So my takeaway what the Jets. The reason the Jets

don't want to give up first round pick is they
want to tackle. And that's very reasonable. Uh, you know,
Green Bay would love another first They're going to get
the best tight end or the first or second best
wide receiver. So if I was the Jets and said,
we're not giving you the first round pick, that's off
the table because we need to tackle for Aaron Rodgers,

then let me ask you, is it fair for the
Packers to say I want two seconds guaranteed, and one
of your receivers get out of it, close the door,
hang up the phone, lose my nuse, lose my number,
and lose my number. Two's end a receiver. Okay, so
I get two two's guaranteed. Though, for Aaron Rodgers, I
(40:28):
think any any second pick after the first pick, after
the second pick, second round pick, that next pick has
to be conditional one one second round pick for Aaron
the conditional if Rogers plays all the snaps and uh
he comes back for another year. Yeah, you get it first.
I'll give that up. Okay, so you do a second
this year, in the first next year, a conditional first
next year, because listen, get any players. What's that? How
