dominated in every major category.

They had a third and two at the thirty three
yard line or so they call a deep shot incomplete

Lamar Jackson gets his first Wednesday practice in about two months,
comes back from his back injury. We don't know exactly
how much he did. They haven't said that yet. We
do know he's wearing a big flat jacket to prevent

I think for you know, Miami, you know there are
ten seed and there you know, it's an underdog situation.
They beat Ohio State and people look at that number
and say, oh, you know, Miami, Miami beating Ohio State's
bad because Ohio State's the brand and obviously had a
chance to repeat.

But for me, I think it's great.

I mean, you sell to teams that are lower rank
that they can go in and win these things and
beat the top teams, and so I'm okay with it.

I think My problem is the way it's set up
and what are we doing with the regular season. Does
it matter in the old days, if you lost two
football games in college or done, your season was over.

And now we're rewarding them.

By making the playoffs bigger, right and expanding it to
let teams that didn't And I'm two losses, You say,
what's the difference between two and one? But in college
football was big right? Your season was over when you
lost your next game. In college football, that's what you're done. Yeah, yeah,
And now you're being rewarded because you've opened up the
field and you're gonna put in these situations. And the

other part is when you start looking and keep going like, okay,
the teams, the better teams who get the buys.

Since in this new format the last two years are

to five going to be owen six is worrisome.

the first hour, we talked about maybe the issue is

Miami obviously if you look at them, they're not a
ten seed, right, so I think reseeding can be the
biggest issue here.

But if you lose two games though, I mean, like,
like this is because expanding sometimes what.

If you lost two games, what if you lost one
throughout the season, then you lose your conference championship. That's
the game, I know, But that those two games aren't
created equal, like you major your league championship and then

I'm not even kidding you, and people think I'm too
hard on him. But the Mines.

What happened in Minnesota last year the weason, He's not there.
You people could say, oh, well they had JJ McCarthy.
You got a quarterback who did what he did last year? Carrie,
how many times has he changed teams? After you take

carried that guy into the locker room after I can

into the locker room and then they don't sign a
back week sixteen that I think that do you remember

division on the line, right they're in the red zone
four or five times in the first half, I remember, can't.

remember that the whole thing. But anyway, neutral site, he's
terrible in that game against the Rams, and that's where

chance to win the division.

And put your team and I mean and very similar
situations in similar teams as well, Am I right?

I mean the Vikings team last year.

Obviously the Vikings scored a lot of points, but that
defense was one of the top defenses in the in
the in the NFL, and the same could be said
about the Seattle Seahaws next year. I mean, one of
the most feared defenses in the league this year. And
so for Sam donald Man, it's just and it's always
been about him not being not turning the ball over
because he plays well in spots, even in games when
he has turnovers, he plays well, and then all of

a sudden he just snaps back to throwing these weird turnovers.
The interception. So if he can take care of the ball.
I think Seattle has the team to to get it
done and win it and win that division.

But if if, if he doesn't, if he doesn't, if
he if he just say those couple of picks you
saw the first half because because I go back to
the first half of the Rams game, that narrative was
buzzing because they were like, while am I right, Like,
oh my god, here we go again?

Uh Sam Donald. That was a big spot for him,
And that's why I think this is another big spot
for him. They has to respond. And if you're Seattle again,
they didn't give them like some monster contrary.

And I think what you're saying, Rob, with Minnesota, I'm
sure they could have matched that number. And the fact
that they didn't match the number they had got in Seattle,

we're just a one year like coming off for a year.
And his numbers were crazy last year it.

Why those two games that mattered were bad and now

You talked about the Ram game on X it was loud.

guess you could stop that narrative on No, no, we're

has a stinker in this one, that people are going
to be like, well, he won the Rams game, so
he's good. No, no, no, he's he's got that with him.
And I think he needs to win a couple not
I'm not saying he has to win the game super
Bowl for people to start believing or trust.

think he needs for this playoff run in particular?

Or I just think if they if they beat San
Francisco and win a division, win a division, and then
win a couple of games, you know, like like like
get to the NFC Championship game. I think people I
think that we're looking people go Sam Donald, I mean
he turned his career around, was a bus with the Jets. Yeah,
and now he's in the NFC Championship. I think that's real.

No, I think that because there is a progression when
it comes to NFL quarterbacks and actually get into that
big game. I mean we can talk about the forty
nine ers, other team, right, they had a quarterback that

would have playing outs in the playoffs. And you know
what that quarterback is, right, that's Steve Young. But I

mean the question, I mean, the narrative around him early
was he couldn't win the big game and a lot
of people forget about that. It took him years and
especially replacing such a game that point. Come on, Yeah,
and so you have that situation happened, and the progression
of that you have to take some lumps and losses,
and he's already taken his and now it's time for

remember that the whole thing. But anyway, neutral site, he's

about the Seattle Seahaws next year. I mean, one of

so for Sam donald Man, it's just and it's always
been about him not being not turning the ball over
because he plays well in spots, even in games when
he has turnovers, he plays well, and then all of

a sudden he just snaps back to throwing these weird turnovers.
The interception. So if he can take care of the ball.
I think Seattle has the team to to get it
done and win it and win that division.

But if if, if he doesn't, if he doesn't, if
he if he just say those couple of picks you
saw the first half because because I go back to
the first half of the Rams game, that narrative was
buzzing because they were like, while am I right, Like,
oh my god, here we go again?

Uh Sam Donald. That was a big spot for him,
And that's why I think this is another big spot
for him. They has to respond. And if you're Seattle again,
they didn't give them like some monster contrary.

And I think what you're saying, Rob, with Minnesota, I'm
sure they could have matched that number. And the fact
that they didn't match the number they had got in Seattle,

hundred million dollars. We're not doing that. Okay, right, we're
not doing that right. But it was like, Rob, g
was it a one year plus one? It was like

right now. It was marketed as a three years, one
hundred right, but yeah, when you pull the onion back,
you pull it back, you look at it, and it's
one year.

because there's no other like guaranteed salary beyond twenty twenty five,
how about that, Hey, you got to take some cap

And his numbers were crazy last year it.

from but really like the whole idea that if he

has a stinker in this one, that people are going
to be like, well, he won the Rams game, so
he's good. No, no, no, he's he's got that with him.
And I think he needs to win a couple not
I'm not saying he has to win the game super
Bowl for people to start believing or trust.

think he needs for this playoff run in particular?

Or I just think if they if they beat San
Francisco and win a division, win a division, and then
win a couple of games, you know, like like like
get to the NFC Championship game. I think people I
think that we're looking people go Sam Donald, I mean
he turned his career around, was a bus with the Jets. Yeah,
and now he's in the NFC Championship. I think that's real.

No, I think that because there is a progression when
it comes to NFL quarterbacks and actually get into that
big game. I mean we can talk about the forty
nine ers, other team, right, they had a quarterback that

would have playing outs in the playoffs. And you know
what that quarterback is, right, that's Steve Young. But I

mean the question, I mean, the narrative around him early
was he couldn't win the big game and a lot
of people forget about that. It took him years and
especially replacing such a game that point. Come on, Yeah,
and so you have that situation happened, and the progression
of that you have to take some lumps and losses,
and he's already taken his and now it's time for
him to, of.

I mean, it's it's just so hard to beat that

against the arrest of Chauncey Billups, Terry Rogier, the FBI indictments,
like because I feel like once that moment hit our
entire relationship between what we do and what we watch
on TV and sports gambling, which had slowly but surely

been encroaching more and more into the space that that
we had to question everything about that that relationship.
