Speaker 1 (00:00):
Folks, we are back on the way concept presented by
The Ring magazine for what was probably one of the
more awkward and bizarre press conferences that I have ever
seen in the sport of boxing. I'm, of course, talking
about Jake Paul versus Tank Davis on Netflix, Friday, November fourteen.
This fight has already had some controversy attached to it
before we even got to today's first press conference. For example,

(00:24):
the fight was supposed to take place in Atlanta, Georgia,
at the State Farm Arena that has since changed. It's
now Miami, Florida. And to quote the Georgia State Athletic
Commission head Rick Thompson, he said, and I quote, I
believe it's in the public's interest to know because they've
been promoting something they should not have. This is the
dumbest shit I've ever heard. It's a money grabber and

(00:44):
I'm not okay with that. That is the reason Jake
Paul versus Tank Davis moved from Georgia to Florida. If
that controversy wasn't enough, now we have even more in
the first press conference between the two because not only
in my opinion, did it not deliver this press conference
made you ask why we're even doing this fight? What
do I mean the breakdown? Let's go. But before we

(01:05):
get there, folks, I want to say a big thank
you to the sponsor of today's video, First Form. That

you to First Form for sponsoring this video. And now
let's get back into that breakdown.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
He will step into the ring with a record of
twelve and one. Seven of those wins have come by knockout.
He's known as the problem Child. He is j el
gaya de dorodo Paul Oh.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Okay, we gotta turn that off because we can't get copyright.
Of course, Jake's coming out to the Drake. First, let's
talk about the fit. We gotta do a fit check
because I am the most unfashionable man in all of YouTube.
Take a look. Jake is rocking the Siberian swag today.
He's got a fur coat on. I'm not sure if
that's mink. Wouldn't know if it was. He's also carrying

(03:22):
a merse. That's right, that's a man purse. He rocks
one of those everywhere he goes. Listen. Is there any
point other than to match the outfit? What's inside the
Is there more money? What's he using the money for?
We're at a boxing press conference. What's he trying to
pay for? I have no idea. Is it symbolism for
he's got this in the bag? Who knows?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
He hails from Baltimore, Maryland? He is Gervante Tank Davis?

Speaker 1 (03:44):
There, he is Tank coming out there. He is making
his way to the stage, Thank David. And it's almost
certain that that chair is too tall. His feet will
dangle off of it. I mean right here, you can
see the size different. It's it's easy to see even
when they're sitting. Watch when they do this space off
in a little Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Absolutely, manifestations everything I knew we would be here before
we start more, I wanted to take a moment of
silence for Charlie Kirk and his family, Erica Kirk, real
heroes of America. I want to take a moment of silence. Please,
thank you, Rest in peace, Charlie. He means the world

(04:24):
to the United States and his legacy lives on today.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
But yeah, I know, all.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Right, so I'm just gonna say, listen, I know that
no one is going to agree politically with everyone. I
don't mind Jake taking that moment. I thought that's really respectful. Actually,
whether you are a conservative, liberal, leftist, right wing, whatever,
A horrible thing happened to Charlie Kirk, and I haven't
talked about it on this channel, and I'm not going
to outside of just saying obviously, rest in peace. A

(04:49):
despicable act happened, and he was assassinated, murdered in front
of those group of people, needlessly and in cold blood.
Prayers to his family and his loved ones. And yeah,
life is is very precious. Make sure you tell someone
you love him.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
I've predicted everything in my career and just made it
all come true.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Tank, same question, can you believe this is happening. You're
about to get into the ring with Jake Paul.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
I'm definitely excited. You know, it's I think it's it's
gonna be good. You know, he been in the gym
and he's been boxing for a little minute now, so
he's been taking it serious.

Speaker 6 (05:28):
So we just got to see what well you bring come.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
A man's smile is crazy. I just saw that, dude.
This man is cheesy.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
He's stupid as fuck.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I got a number of questions for both of you.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
All right, man, A couple of things. Number One, Tank
didn't even know the day they were supposed to fight.
It's plastered all over the wall behind him, on the podium,
on Twitter, on social media, It's right here in front
of his face. If he would just look to his left.
How does this man who is one half of the
main event not know when the fuck he's fighting? And

(06:11):
by that same token, how are we the fans expected
to think that Tank is locked into this when he
doesn't even know when the fight date is. Bro Again,
I know it's something very minor and he maybe just forgot,
but it's not the greatest kickoff to this press conference.
It's like a car stuck in neutral as you're slamming
on the gas, you're starting slow and you're not fully

(06:31):
engaged or in gear, and then something interesting happens. Jake
is like already starting to troll or he's trying to
get in the mind of Javonte right away. I mean, like, ahaa, look,
he's dumb as fuck right He's trying to get Javonte
riled up, which I think is the best thing Jake
can do if ja can play the villain throughout this
build up, and I think he desperately needs to to

(06:51):
get Javonte to react and show some emotion and actually
look like he gives a fuck about this. That's the
role Jake needs to play. Honestly, I don't think he
did it in an in this presser, but we'll see.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Let me bring to the stage, into this podium Most
Valuable Promotions co founder. He's also the CEO, Nikisa Baderian.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Nikisa gets walk out music, I'm dead.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
And yes, ladies and gentlemen, there will be a victor.
Because the fighters have agreed and the Commission has approved
a maximum weight of one hundred and ninety five pounds
for this exhibition. The fight will be contested over ten

(07:35):
three minute rounds. The fight is one hundred and ninety
five pounds Tank, as you know.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Okay, so something very interesting there I want you. I
don't know if you guys heard it, but it was
also caught on a separate camera. Nikisa is going through
the rule. He says the fight will be contested at
a maximum weight of one hundred and ninety five pounds.
Tank gets up and says, y'all said it was one
hundred and ninety, isn't it this?

Speaker 7 (08:04):
The fight will be contested over ten three minute rounds.
The fight is one hundred and ninety five poules Tank,
as you know.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
So yeah, I don't know if Tank was trolling there
or not. He probably is because you just gotta sit
down real quick, but I'm yeah, one ninety five is
what they said the first time. It is interesting though,
that Tank immediately got up and said it was one ninety.
Y'all said it was one ninety. I can't tell if
he's trolling or not, but regardless, Jake, I'll start with you.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
You certainly built your career on taking tough challenges.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
That's funny.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Now you're facing Tank, probably one of the most explosive
punchers in the sport of boxing. Ec is your biggest
advantage going into this.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Tru Yeah, I would say a lot of things, but
I think first and foremost is going to just be
my reach, my size, being able to keep him away.
I think there's a lot of holes in his defense
that a lot of people haven't exposed before. And he's
a great fighter, one of the best. I'm excited. He's
elevating me to a new height. He's making me push

(09:10):
myself to my limits. I'm more locked in than ever,
But at the end of the day, I know I'm
gonna be able to come out on top and out box.
I think I's been doing it for seven times as
long as me.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Jake just said that Tank has been boxing for seven
times as long as Jake has been boxing. They started
out this press conference by saying, Jake started boxing five
years ago, so seven times five is thirty five. Tank
is what thirty We always knew that math was not
Jake strong suit. I'm a fellow college dropout, but the
math ain't mathing.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Obviously, toughest test that you face this point, you beat
an undefeated world.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Why are we saying that, though, like skill wise, is
take better than anyone Jake's fought skill wise in boxing. Yes,
but when we're saying toughest test, this is an exhibition fight.
This is not a test of Jake as a professional boxer.
It's not even in his weight class. The toughest test
Jake has had to this day and will remain his
toughest test until either he rematches or fights someone of

(10:11):
a similar level at the way classes. Tommy Fury, I
just don't. You can't say that. You can't say this
is Jake's toughest test. You can't do that.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Is this the fight where folks, especially in the boxing community,
have to say Jake Paul deserves to be at the
elite level.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Now.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
They'll never give me credit until I have the world
championship belt.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
But that's okay, it doesn't matter, you know.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
But belts collect dust, and what I've done in the
sport is unprecedented, never will be replicated, and done it
in such a short amount of time, just getting warmed up.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
They're not gonna give me credit.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
But I don't need the credit from these bozos to
be honest.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
The credits in my bank account.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Oh bart, Well, credit in the bank account you get debited,
the money in your bank account credits when the money
comes out regardless. Here's the thing. That question is a
roney asking Jake if you beat Tank in an exhibition
or you with the elite level in boxing? The answer
is no. Is Jake an elite level name in boxing?

(11:14):
The answer is absoluucking lutely he is. You may not
like that, but he's one of the biggest names, if
not the biggest name in the sport that's currently fighting
and is not Mike Tyger. Let's be honest about it, right,
If they go out and do better numbers, then Terrence
Crawford and can Allow Forez and he's probably the biggest
name in the sport. But that does not make him
an elite fighter even sport. Even if he was to

(11:36):
go out and knock Tank out, it doesn't make him elite.
And I don't mean that to sound harsh. It's just again,
weight classes matter, they do. You just can't put him
in the elite of his weight class for knocking out
the elite of a weight class ten spots down.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
I'll start with you.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I guess at a number of people will say why
Jake Paul as opposed to a rematch with Lamont Roach.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Uh There's only one answer to this question, and it's
probably what is in the man perse that Jervonte also
brought to the stage. It's money. That is the only
reason he would do this fight over Lamont Roach or retire.
He is getting paid a shit ton of money. Let's
see if he answers it. But that is the only reason.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
I don't want to pay a lot out there. But
it's just, you know, doing what's best for me and
what's right for me. And I've been doing this for
a little minute now, you know, I've been doing it
for since I was seven years old, you know. So
this is the first camp I can like, you know,

(12:48):
enjoy myself, be back myself. Like even leading up to,
like the the rematch of the Roach fight, it was
more so like I don't want to get too much
in it. But uh novem fourteenth, you got Jake Paul

(13:12):
and me. I think it's gonna be a great event.
Every time my fight is fireworks. Jake Paul coming in,
you know, he's much bigger, he's much stronger. Boxing wins
come uh Novemina fourteenth. You know it's it's not just me,

(13:33):
me and Jake on a fight it's a whole card
and we're just given boxing with a knee and that's excitement.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
I'll tell you something. That answer did not excite me. Now, Okay,
number one, Tank is right. There are gonna be a
lot of boxers on the undercard that get a lot
of shine from this, and that is good for the sport.
In fact, just eyes on boxing in general is something
Jake has done very very well for the sport and
you can't take that away from He has brought a
ton of new eyes to this sport. That's something that

(14:01):
I think people should value Jake and Tank more than
what they do. I just wish you would have said,
I did this because it's gonna make me a ton
of money. And that's what I honestly care more about
in this sport, because it's the honest truth is he
doesn't care, which he'll I mean flat out tell you sometimes.
He doesn't care about his championship belt, doesn't even care
about his legacy. He cares about making money for himself

(14:21):
and his family. And again, there's nothing wrong with that.
Just be honest about it, just say what it is,
because that is what this fight is. And we all
know again, as long as you admit that as long
as you go into this fight with that preconceived notion
of what exactly is going on here, I don't have
any problem with an exhibition where two guys are gonna
make a shit ton of money. Doesn't mean anything. No,
doesn't mean anything for Jake's legacy, for tanks legacy, honestly,

(14:45):
unless either of them get knocked out cold. No fact,
it probably hurts tanks legacy more if that were to happen.
But for Jake, No, it doesn't make them better in
their given weight classes. It is a one off entertainment
bout and that's okay. Just say what it is.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
You've talked it too a lot about living a lasting
legacy in the sport of boxing. You beat Tank Davis.
Do you believe you've basically cemented yourself as one of
the best in the sport?

Speaker 8 (15:12):
What?

Speaker 9 (15:14):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (15:15):
No, not not yet.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
I'm just getting warmed up. But this will certainly shut
up a lot more people. Each fight has done that
so far. Only five years as a pro, and it
feels like the last fight I had was the end
of chapter one.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
This is the beginning of chapter two, and I'm only
twenty eight years old. I have a lot more to prove,
and once I beat this guy more people will shut up.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
But at the end of the day, I'm really still
just getting warmed up in the sport and I'm going
to show how good I am. You know, this is
a top ten pound for pound fighter that I'm going
to outbox. And truly, when people run back this press conference,
all the shit talk, all the fun, They're gonna be like, Wow,
this kid really is doing something monumental in the.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Sport and he's actually.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
He's insane boxer, and I'm gonna show that this guy
who's been doing it his whole life, has been doing
it wrong his whole life.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Would you say Tank?

Speaker 6 (16:08):
He said, gonna outbox me? Whoop de Doude.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
First off, at least Jake can acknowledge the fact that
beating Tank does not make him one of the best
in the world. I respect that. But you hear him
throwing around that pound for pound and I heard it
earlier in the press or too, Tank is a top
ten pound for pound guy, Why are we using that qualified?
Explain that to me? For those that are watching at home,

(16:35):
they are calling Tank a top ten pound for pound
because they can't say that Tank is a top ten
at Jake's weight class, because he doesn't fight at that
weight class. The reason we have pound for pound in
general is to fantasize about who would be the best
boxer if they were all the same weight. Reality states
that Terrence Crawford is not going to beat Alexander Usik

(16:56):
because Terrence Crawford is one hundred and sixty eight pounds. Now,
Usik's a heavyweight. So even if the skills are there,
even if he's better skillfully then Usik, the weight determines
Usik is going to hurt him badly. That doesn't tell
us anything. That tells us when two elite guys get together,
the bigger man wins.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
Shout out to Jake, Paul, you know, coming with me
and making this event happen, and his team and what
is MP Promotions Netflix uh Al Hayman.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Everybody turns out he can't read, just like Floyd.

Speaker 6 (17:35):
Oh MVP geez emph.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
Got a.

Speaker 6 (17:40):
I'm not worrying about that. People talk.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
That's what Jake needs to do more go after it.
First Off, again, Tang didn't know the fight date, didn't
know who Nikisa was. That he called Jake's promotion MP
money please promotion. I'm supposed to believe that Tank gives
a shit, Honestly, I'm supposed to believe that after he
just comes up here and has no idea what the
fuck's going on. But I honestly, that's the Jake I
need to see, as disrespectful as it is talking about.

Speaker 6 (18:04):
He can't read.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Fuck it, it's the fight game. Say some things that
are gonna rile Tank up a little bit.

Speaker 6 (18:09):
Jake, how you win this fight.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Just showing up? Honestly? Yeah, just I'm gonna knock him out.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
You know, he has a lot of a lot of
flaws in his defense and I'm gonna expose him. You know,
look what a one thirty five Lamont roach did to him.
And it's just gonna be so much fun for me.
I'm so glad you do it, gave me this moment.
I'm I'm Davonte.

Speaker 6 (18:31):
What this is?

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Karmick retribution.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Carmick retribution, all right, bro. Number one, We know Jake
is not a Rhodes scholar, so he had that one
in the back pocket ready. That was a one liner
he had ready. Either that or my man has been
doing hooked on phonics and that was word of the
day or phrase of the day, because where the hell
does Carmick retribution come from? Number two? This is an
interesting thing that will happen in this fight. Jake has

(18:56):
always said, when speaking about fights with Tank Canelo, the
these smaller guys that look, what so and so who
was your size did to you? This is what I'm
gonna do. But in that same respect, Jake hasn't knocked
anybody out in a while now. The last guy he
knocked out was Mike Perry. Obviously Mike Perry not the
greatest boxer in the world. But if Jake can hit

(19:17):
Tank cleanly, yes, I agree that he can do some
real damage. But I'm just saying it takes a lot
of practice to punch down on someone, especially when you're
not used to being the super tall guy and Jake's
only six to one.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
I'm curious, Tank, when you walk into the ring, how
much you think your.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Way with her without the ankle monitor on.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
That's corny, that's super corny.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
He is so sassy, super corny.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
I probably don't I don't know how much that way.
And the U why he's hucking to mo Man? How
do you win this fight?

Speaker 5 (20:03):
Alpha is trash for real? Alpha is gone.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
See like how easy it was for Jake to get
under his skin. Just rattle him a little bit, that's
all he needs to do, just little stuff. Now again,
he's going after the obvious elephant in the room. And
I'm not talking about the great elephant Jake Paul who
struggles to be knocked down or whatever. I mean the
fact that Gervonte Davis was just recently arrested on a
domestic uh violence charge. I actually don't know if the

(20:29):
charges were dropped or what happened there. But you know,
Tank has had some trouble with the law, especially you know,
throughout his career, but especially recently, and uh, all it
took was Jake to bring it up. Whether you think
that's over the line or not, it's what Jake needs,
maybe not that far, but he needs to be a villain.
He needs to do things that are gonna make Tank
uncomfortable and get him out of his skin.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
Anybody that ever rocked the mohawk is a fucking clown.

Speaker 6 (20:52):
We all know this. Anybody rocked the mohawk name.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
You want to see clowns?

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Oh no, dude, you want.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
To see clowns.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
I mean I asked for entertainment. But I mean we
said it was the circus. We did say it was
a circus fight. And uh, Jake Paul, I guess they
were these two guys that are dressed up like clowns.
I guess they were cue to come on stage. If
Davante ever said the word clown, so here they come.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Ravante, you're the fucking clown, buddy, You're the fucking clown, Davante.
Any man who puts his hands on a woman is
the clown. I got you a poodle.

Speaker 6 (21:31):
Now now now, okay, now, since.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
We on this, if I'm just dropped the fucking balloon
in there out, I'm surprised that guy got that close
to Gervante.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
But yeah, if I put my hands on females or
anything like that, right, if I put my about you
know what I mean, female like, come on, it will
be mad. You say I want when when I don't
even want to bring up nobody think, what's the name
about that?

Speaker 6 (21:58):
But no, thanks, Scott, No.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Nah, Jermonte. You know what we know, you know what
I'm saying, We get it. Right now is not the
time to proclaim innocence, especially when you know, public speaking
maybe not your strong suit and especially not when you
lead off with P Diddy. Maybe we just let this
would go, you know, maybe maybe we just kind of
I didn't do it and we move on type of thing.
If that's true, I don't know a legend, but whatever
you got to say, let's you know, let's wrap it

(22:24):
up because the longer this goes, the worst it's gonna get.

Speaker 6 (22:26):
Like that.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
No, listen when things when when when one female did
a charge, it was mad females coming out?

Speaker 6 (22:34):
Right?

Speaker 5 (22:34):
So if if I hit a female, right, wantn't to
be mad other females like I've been I ain't been
just with one female, like I'm I'm thirty years old.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
He let's be real, I've been with more than one female.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Wouldn't mad females come out and say something about me
hitting them?

Speaker 6 (22:51):
No? No, okay, right.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Talk about making a dad sit you worse?

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (23:02):
First off, I guess, like what he's trying to say
is if I hit one girl, why wouldn't all the
girls I dated say I hit him? Not a great response,
not really a great response to be like, yeah, one
girl said I I committed domestic abuse, Well I fuck bitches?
Like so now what not? Everyone said that? So clearly
I'm innocent and all. I don't know if that's the response.
I'm not laughing at domestic abuse. It's very unfortunate and

(23:26):
a horrible, horrible thing for any uh, you know, anyone
to do, just reprehensible. And as far as Jervonte's situation goes,
I genuinely don't know if the charges were dropped, if
it's still under investigation. I have no idea, but he
should probably stop talking about it because that's not that
was that's awful.

Speaker 10 (23:44):
Oliver Salt for Daily Mault Javonte, A lot of boxing
fans aren't happy with the fact you've taken this fight
rather than the roach rematch fights with the likes of Shakur,
Devin Hainey, Tier Female, et cetera. What'd you make of
that reaction? And can we still?

Speaker 6 (24:00):
Why should I care what they think?

Speaker 5 (24:04):
When y'all switch, y'all switch every somebody can have a
bad day and y'all switching on on who y'all favorite fighter.

Speaker 6 (24:12):
Is or who who this person is supposed to fight.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
Y'all need to y'all need to sit back and be
fans and just enjoy the sport y'all do. Y'all y'all
even talk about people personal lives, like why when they
come to that.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
I'm not sure what that response meant from thank there,
The guy asked, I mean, listen, valid question, like what
do you say to people that would rather see And
he's talking about Davonte's own fans, To be fair, what
would you say to those people that they want to
see you fight legitimate world championship fights? And Javonte's like,
shut up and be a fan. No, but he's like,
you know, you guys ship on fighters, and he's saying,

(24:46):
you guys, I don't think he means this guy. I
think he means the fans. You guys shoot on fighters
after bad performances, So why would I care what you think? Well,
I mean there's something to be said for like fans
being very thickle in sports. That's true, that's a real thing,
but that's just the nature of every Sunday. A quarterback
goes out. They could have ten straight great games, but
if they throw four picks all of a sudden, they

(25:07):
are trash.

Speaker 10 (25:08):
Can we still expect to see any of those fights
in the future?

Speaker 5 (25:10):
And y'all keep talking about fighting somebody, then he just
have a fight. Then he just had a fight and
what happened, What happened, what happened? He won, right, but
how you look in it exactly? But but y'all say
some some different ship when it's me right, because y'all
want me to lose. When it is when y'all see

(25:31):
people and that's that limelight too long, they want to
take that that they want somebody else to, you know,
come take that spot. That's why it's always like, come on, bro,
that's what happened with Floyd, that y'all seeing him too much.
And once you once y'all see him so much, y'all
start hating on like it turned from love to hate,

(25:51):
you know.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
Even again for a guy in Tank Davis who says
he doesn't care what fans think, he sure does care
a lot about what fans think, which is obvious. That's
most fighters, that's most athletes. They'll say, ah, you know,
it don't matter to me. Who cares what they think?
Deep down inside? Yet Tank clearly, which is again why
I don't understand why he won't just say what it is.
If he didn't care, he would just say I'm taking

(26:13):
his fight for money. If he cares, then go fight
the guy improve it.

Speaker 11 (26:17):
Tank, So obviously you know you're fighting Jake, and this
is the fight that's in front of you. That's what
you're focused on now. But I gotta ask you, he's
a bigger dude. You acknowledge that he's stronger, he's got
the size advantage. Let's say he would have knocked you out.
Do you think that impacts your legacy or even lose,
just a loss to Jake Paul. What kind of impact
do you think that that has on your legacy?

Speaker 6 (26:38):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (26:41):
I'm not really Uh, I'm not sure. I'm not really
big on it.

Speaker 6 (26:48):
On it. I don't ready like care at this moment.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Bro. This is what I'm talking about when I said
this press conference got weird. Heyg asked a great question,
how would this affect your legacy? Tank doesn't want to
He doesn't even care, but he kind of says it.
He's like, I don't I don't know. Uh, I don't
care at this moment. While he's playing with the fucking
balloon animal. It shows you why he's doing this fight,
but it also doesn't give you confidence that he even

(27:13):
cares about doing this fight.

Speaker 11 (27:14):
So you're not concerned that a loss to Jake Paul
would mean anything to you at all.

Speaker 6 (27:18):
It doesn't stuff anything. Why should I.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
Got you gonna still have his poodle after the loss?

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Why should I? He says, Why should I care? That's
not for us to tell Tank you know this is
I mean, I kind of thought this is how this
is gonna go, that Tank would just show up super nonchalant.
But like, this is even worse to me than I thought.
When Tank is up there going, why should I care
if I get beat?

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
I don't know, because you're supposed to convince us this
is competition, and in competition you want to win. Therefore
care if you win or lose, even if it's an exhibition.
What are you supposed to be selling us on if
you don't even care if you win or lose the thing,
We're all just supposed to go, hell, yeah, I'm watched,
and that so Tank can get paid and maybe try.
I'm not saying that's what's gonna happen on fight night.

(28:04):
I'm just saying, what kind of response is that?

Speaker 12 (28:07):
Dr Abby with World Liberty TV Boxing Channel, Big Big
fun of yours. I just want to say, what you're
doing for boxing, it's phenomenal. You're putting it on the map,
what you're doing with the ladies with the Mike Tyson
and UFC test nobody and I love.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
You too, yo. My man came up to the mic.
Just glaze buddy, Hey yo, Now again, I'm used to this.
This happens a lot in like UFC press conferences. But
this man, Okay, you're a fan of Jakes, that's fine,
but you got to get to the question at some point.
Thanks that. I'll swing on.

Speaker 6 (28:40):
You, Givonte.

Speaker 12 (28:42):
I'm a big fan of yours. But I just wanted
to tell this man what he is doing for boxing
and putting it on the map, and I just want
to take my hat off ta. So what I want
to say is if you beat Tank, you know, and
the people are gonna say you beat small amount, So
what what's the victory here?

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Man?

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Honestly, people always have something to say. It's old news.
Keep talking. At the end of the day, you're here,
so whatever anyone has to say, just keep on saying it. Please,
It doesn't matter, doesn't matter at all.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Here's the thing. It's kind of genius what Jake does
in a very like under the radar way. No one
asked Jake to fight Jervonte d he of his own
free will and tanks went out and made this fight
on Netflix, massive fight on a numbers. But by doing so,
and with the Mike Tyson fight, you give people an
avenue to criticize it or doing these fights for the

(29:45):
various different reasons. Mike with his age and activity, you know,
all of that Tank, with his size, with your size.
These are things that Jake is offering to the public
as to go here is why you can criticize me.
And I think he does it on purpose, right, I
don't even think I know, because it gets people talk,
and the more they talk, whether it's positive or negative,

(30:07):
the more they are likely to return. The more his
name stays relevant, the more these type of events continue
to get bigger. So while Jay can act like he's
tired of it, he continues to do these events so
that he will get these kind of questions and have
to go in and create or have a narrative to
work and frame off of it. I think it's genius

(30:28):
for each of y'all state your case for being the
face of boxing. Nobody answer what a cherry on top

(30:51):
of this press conference is the last question that's asked
is YO for both of y'all state your case as
to why you're the face of boxing, which is essentially
the whole calling card behind in this fight, right, two
big faces of American boxing squaring off in an exhibent,
someone asked the question, tell us why you're the face?
In silence for both guys. Wow, what he wants you?

Speaker 2 (31:12):
He wants you to stay your's your case for boxing and.

Speaker 6 (31:17):
The face about some time. I'm just somebody at box.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
If that doesn't tell you, in as little words as possible,
the entirety of the story of Tank Davis's career, I
don't know what will a guy that has all the talent,
has all the skills at every possible potential to become
the face of boxing, to be a world level talent.

(31:43):
He already is a multiple division world champion, but to
fight the best of the best and become the face
of American boxing. That just went, I don't want it.
That's not who I am. That is Tank David, Jake.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
Numbers.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
There you have it, dude, this is why I said this.
This presser got a little awkward. Is like they it
feels like they are being forced at gunpoint to be there.
Like even Jake, the energy that Tank brought in has
zapped the energy out of Jake. We better see Jake
on a different level at this Miami presser. As you
guys are seeing this video today, we better see him
turn it up because this is this is not good man.

(32:21):
This looks like they're both just like they're there just
because they have to be. All right, let's get to
this face off, the first official face off. Jake lost
the sweater. What's the physique looking like for Jake? That's
what I want to see. Okay, he gets down, he
gets down to Tank's level real quick. All right, we
got a little swing into that lead arm Diick trying

(32:43):
to get down to his level. Ah see Tank, See
Tank trying to get to him. Can't touch him. He's
tapping him on the arms. Say wear that fat? Got
a little arm fat? Why does Tank look like like

(33:05):
a lost puppy almost just standing there? Like, Okay, Jake's
not the tallest guy in the world, but just the mass,
the sheer difference in mass alone is insane. Why are
Jake's paants so high? There? It is, folks, your first
official face off and press conference for Jake versus Tank
on Netflix. I'm gonna be honest, I need more. That

(33:26):
just wasn't enough. That's not enough to sell the public
on why this thing's supposed to matter. I don't think
either guy brought their a game. I thought both of
them were way too I don't know if it was
relaxed or nonchalant, or just it came off as not caring.
And that's the last thing you want. You don't want
to look uninterested in your own fight, regardless of the
surrounding parameters of it. You want to have some fire.

(33:48):
You want to have people see why we should care
about this thing. And that press conference, to me, it
didn't feel like either guy really cared too much. It
didn't feel like either guy really was jazzed up and
energized about this being you know, once in a lifetime whatever.
Right when we had the Jake and Mike press conferences,
those things felt like a massive deal. Even when Mike
was grabbing on his crotch and fucking slapping Jake in

(34:09):
the face like that felt like something. There was some
energy there, you know. So I need to see more
from both guys. I mean, Tank clearly is there to
get paid. Jake it seems like actually is gonna take
this seriously and try his best, but I need to
see more. These are supposed to be the two faces
of boxing. I don't care what Tank thinks about whether
he is or not promote this thing. Give us something.
This is the entertainment bout. This is supposed to be

(34:30):
for our entertainment. It's not about competition, as much as
they want to say it is. It really is about
an entertainment exhibition. So entertainment, that's what I think. You guys.
Let me know in the comments below what happens in
today's press conference, because we'll be back tomorrow with a
breakdown of that one. I don't have those answers, but
I guess we'll find out. All right, So we are
back on the way concept presented it by The Ring

(34:52):
magazine for day two of the Jake Paul Jervonte Tank
Davis press conference extravaganza. Yes, they were in New York
and somehow those two put the City that Never sleeps
straight to bed. I mean, it might as well have
been crickets in the Palladium Theater. But today I'm looking
for some more hype. Today, I am looking for some
energy between both Jake Paul and Dravonte Davis because again,

(35:15):
they need to get us invested. This is the entertainment
business for these type of fights. We're not watching for competition.
We're watching for the circus aspect. We're watching. Can the
little man beat the big man? Can the big man
destroy the little guy? Can Jake talk his shit? Can
he get more than just the boxing fandom involved today?
I want to know if we got that. Did Tank
show up like he actually wanted to be there and

(35:36):
not like he was being forced at gunpoint? Is Jake
gonna be the villain which he needs to be in
this thing? Are we gonna get any reason remotely to
watch this any bad blood, anything personal outside of the
fact that both guys are making a ton of money
and we should sit back and clap form. I'm gonna
watch regardless, but why should everyone else? That's the question?
Can they answer it? Press Conference Day two from Miami, Miami,

(36:00):
The Breakdown. Let's go.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
He is the star of Wade concept to the stage.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
The problem child ja El guy on Dondo.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Can't have the music all right? Jake came in. We
gotta do a fit check. We always do, as you
guys know. I am fashion easta Wade, Jake moonwalking because
I put it in reverse. Has Ryan Stones on the
pants with some sort of I don't that's not Paisley.
But he's got like a nice flower design shirt. Is
this the definition of a Ryanstone cowboy? Probably? Little bit,

(36:37):
not really sure what to make of It does look
like a bit of a with yourself Sisterhood of the
Traveling Pants fit. But there's probably more money on that
outfit than the entire state of Mississippi. I'll be honest.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
The hail from Baltimore, Maryland. He is Gervante tant Davin's.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Okay, it's not a purse. Today he rocked the backpack
at the one wired Apple headphones in. But he does
look like he just got out of school. I said
this yesterday. Tank looks acts and dresses like a third
grader with a beard. I mean, what did you do
at school today? Son? Arts and crafts? Let me see
what you drew paper mache Let me see what you made.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
What would silencing the haters and beating one of the
sports pound for pound best mean to you?

Speaker 1 (37:24):
Man?

Speaker 3 (37:24):
You know I love this stuff. You know I love
a good challenge. This is for me and my team.
I'm not proving everyone else wrong. I'm proving myself right
at the end of the day, and so this is
a great test.

Speaker 4 (37:33):
I know what I'm capable of.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
And once I beat this guy, it's just another check
of a box and people will have less things.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I'm not gonna lie, man. Jake's hair is getting out
of hand.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
I know.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Tank called it a mohawk yesterday. It looks like half
boiled ramen noodles, got like wrapped it down on the
top of his head, almost like you know when you
would go to the barber shop and scoop up all
the hair and they just dropped it it.

Speaker 6 (37:55):
Tank.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
You heard him say, this is another check of the box.
But you know what, this sport we always say there.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Are levels to this thing.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
Is this fight another one of those examples where you say,
my man, now you're fighting one of the sports poundful
pound best and one of the best to ever do it,
and their levels to this sport.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
I mean you say Tank was one of the best
to ever do it. All Right, here we go again
with this. We can't be calling Tank the goat. We
can't do that, all right. He is, in my opinion,
one of the more talented boxers and has the ability
of someone that could have been an all time great
had he taken a different route, but we can't do that.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
Yeah, this is the toughest fight for me from an
experienced standpoint. I know he's in his prime, you know,
thirty and oher or whatever it is, undefeated, top ten
pound for pound fighter. I respect Tank a lot, and
that's why I'm excited. He's going to bring the best
out of me, and I have to be prepared. I
have to be the most locked in I've ever been.
And that's what makes this a massive fight. So much
is at stake because we're young and there were just

(39:00):
you know, on the tip and the brink of our
careers and coming into greatness and our primes, like you said,
And so the loser of this fight is going to
be the embarrassment of the world. You know, their fan
base is going to be let down and everyone's going
to see that, and it could be a career ending loss.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
And that's what makes this exciting.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
Well, it's not considered a loss to anyone because this
is an exhibition. Let's not forget this is an exhibition.
But yeah, I mean I kind of agree if Jake
and I would only say by knockout. If Jake gets
knocked out by Tank Davis, this would be a devastating
mark on his career, no doubt about it. If Tang
were to get knocked out by Jake, it would be

(39:39):
a devastating mark on his career. But if we have
like a judge's decision in exhibition, which I didn't even
know was possible until yesterday, the KISA said there's going
to be a judge's decision, all right, that's probably what's
going to happen. They could get judges to actually judge
this thing, end up in some sort of a draw,
and both guys get their hand raised in an exhibition
like they would have without. I don't know, but if

(40:01):
this is like a judge decision thing, I don't think
anyone stock necessarily goes up or goes down again. I
have said what I think this fight's gonna look like.
I think it's gonna be very difficult for Jake to
hit Tank clean. If he does fight changes, I think
it's gonna be very difficult for Tank. I think they're
saying twelve bounce clubs for Tank to to hurt you,
especially early on. Maybe he can accumulate damage and Jake

(40:22):
gets a little tired, and then later in the fight
something happens. But I just don't know. I think we're
probably gonna get one of those stalemate Floyd Logan esque fights.
We're early on. These guys are a lot more sharp,
a lot more quick, a lot more technique from Jake
than Logan had, and a lot more spikee from Tank
than Floyd had. But after a bit, I think it's
gonna be a bit of a stalemate clinching a lot

(40:43):
and uh not a ton of.

Speaker 6 (40:45):
Acts Tank along those lines.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Listen to what he just said.

Speaker 6 (40:48):
Do you feel any pressure at all?

Speaker 8 (40:50):
Only because you're so good and yet you're fighting this
guy who's relatively new to the sport, and I'm sure
there are a number of people millions are gonna be
watching n be expected the knockout.

Speaker 6 (41:01):
Yeah, I feel like there's no pressure on me. You know.
The only pressure on me is when I put pressure
on myself. You know.

Speaker 5 (41:10):
That's why I'm not going out here and saying I'm
gonna knock him out or anything like that.

Speaker 7 (41:15):
You know.

Speaker 5 (41:15):
So we're just gonna put on a great show. Come
no Vim in the fourteenth and the fans one that
night you know, I just want to put on a
great show and so everybody can, you know, be happy.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
I don't hate the answer from Tank because it sounds
like it's honest, but again, I just don't know. It
doesn't make me feel like these two are fighting, you know.
It just makes me feel like they're gonna go out
there to put on a show, and I want to
see them fight. I want to see some aggression Tank
would have that if it was anyone he actually felt
was worth it. I just don't know if he thinks
Jake's worth it. Again, I just I get that feeling

(41:48):
that he just is there to be there.

Speaker 5 (41:51):
I definitely want to, you know, put on a great show.
Come no Vim in the fourteen and make sure that
you know, show him what I'm about, you know, genuinely.

Speaker 6 (42:05):
What I think. Yeah, got wait and see.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
Yeah, you're boring as fuck. Man. My whole family was
texting me.

Speaker 3 (42:19):
I's my whole family for real.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
What Jake's right? I'm sorry Tank is boring as fun.
But again, Jake and Nikisa knew that when they signed
Tank to be his next opponent. So it's at the
same time as I gotta give Jake credit for saying
that you kind of gotta have to understand. You're the
one that picked him, You're the one that wanted him
to come and do this fight. Put him in this

(42:46):
position thinking and hoping that he's gonna sell tickets and
create some buzz on Netflix, which I think this fight
will I do. I just think that they underestimated how
socially introverted Tank is until it's like a confrontational situation.
Tank doesn't do well with these formal q and a's
that's not what he does. You got to rile him up.
You have to rile him up. So Jake needs to

(43:06):
rile him up. Thank will be boring unless you bring
him out of his shell. That's Tank CMO and that's
Jake Simo. Bring him out of his shell. And that's
kind of what he's doing now. But he's like, yeah,
what are you gonna do? You know, like tell the people,
like what do you think is gonna happen? But he's
getting frustrated because Tank is not like a big talker
like that until you confront him directly. Jake has to
go after him again. This is all being sold on

(43:26):
the idea of Jake being the bigger man power and
the stature and the frame, and Tank being the smaller
man with more experience, be the bigger man. And I
don't mean like in a metaphorical sense, I mean big bron.

Speaker 6 (43:36):
You just play around like you know this regular.

Speaker 4 (43:40):
That's what people want, brother, it's entertainment.

Speaker 6 (43:42):
I can't hear.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Yeah, we can't actually the audio up here, we can't
hear shit, to be honest, I don't know if that
could change, but I can't hear what he's saying, Jake.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
I was reading this is the official press conference, and
we got him complained about the audio. Fuck, this is
something you know. I'm not even trying to be a hater.
But why did they do him in back to back
different cities if they hadn't play. I know it was
a little late because they had to switch the venue
and they had to go to Miami and not Georgia
and Atlanta, but they could have based him out. No,
I don't know. It just seems like it was very

(44:15):
rushed together. The Miami one the New York one was
going to be the same, but because they had to
switch the venue from Atlanta to Miami, I guess some
leeway there, but you got to have these things locked
in this is Netflix we're talking about. This isn't YouTube,
this is not this is big time shit.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
An article and it said, maybe Jake Paul this time
around has bitten off more than he can chew in
this fight.

Speaker 6 (44:37):
What's your response to that? Man?

Speaker 4 (44:39):
People are always gonna say this shit like, I'm just
sick of it. Man, What what do people have to say?
Come on, keep on it, keep on saying it. Whatever
you got.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
This is what I do, bro. This is why I'm
the biggest in the sport. This is why everyone's here today.
This is why I've had the most viewed fight in
boxing history. So at the end of the day, I
gave this little guy opportunity. He should be thanking me.
I'm paying and him. I'm his boss. He reports to me,
and I'm gonna help you.

Speaker 5 (45:07):
Yeah, one hundred, one hundred facts correct, correct, correct, I'm
your daddy fuddy.

Speaker 6 (45:18):
Yet Yeah, he said he paid me, So we ask
your question.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
I need that extra I love again when Jake is saying,
I don't know who is saying Jake is bit off
more than he can chew fighting Tank. Even though Tank
is a very skilled boxer, Jake is seventy pounds bigger
than him, and I think that, yes, Tank has an
opportunity to shock people with his power if he's able
to put Jake away. But when we say Jake is
bitten off more than he can chew, I would say

(45:45):
that'd be the Anthony Joshua fight that they want next year.
If he actually does that, I'd be like, bro, respect,
You're an absolute psycho. Yeah, I think a j would
probably hurt him really bad. But again, I just go
back to this. You see what happens when there's just
a little bit of confrontation and the fans or whoever's
there in Miami, they actually get a little riled up
and get a little bit more into the press conference

(46:06):
and into the fight, versus them sitting there talking like
robots like, yes, I appreciate the opportunity to fight. Thank
you your confidence. I love it.

Speaker 2 (46:15):
Tell me and tell the people why are you so
confident in this fight.

Speaker 4 (46:19):
It's preparation, it's knowing what I'm capable of.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
It's my team, you know, third Jay Leon, Larry Wade,
you know my training partner's Deca, everybody, Carl, everyone who
puts in the word ocean. The whole team is you know,
number one and everyone goes so hard, and we know
they got.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
A man named Ocean on his team. I feel like
I might have met the guy too. That's gotta be
the yoga guy. I didn't know his name was Ocean,
but the way him and Jake be flowing, you know
what I'm saying in that yoga stretching acro yoga stuff
where it looks like one of them is doing the
airplane game from when they were kids and the other
guy is like, damn near sniffing his crotch. It's that's
the guy has to be talking about.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
Tang.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
He has got a lot of confident young man. Has
any of that concern you in this fight? That he
is so confident that not only he will win, but
win by stoppage?

Speaker 1 (47:07):
Tank, You're confident, But the question is does his confidence
make you less confident in your confidence? Because he sounds confident.
That's a confident, young man. But I know you're confident,
But whose confidence is more confidentially confident? What?

Speaker 6 (47:21):
Uh fuck? Though?

Speaker 5 (47:23):
Not really, not really. I mean he supposed to feel
like that he's the bigger guy. He say he's paying
me and stuff like that. So I let him take
the higher out I take the lower oute. I see
h Nove fourteenth.

Speaker 4 (47:41):
One thing I think he meant the opposite.

Speaker 1 (47:42):
Yeah, I was gonna say, Tank said, I'll let him
take the higher out because he's talking stuff and saying
he's paying me, I'll take the lower route. Usually, if
you take the high road, you're the one that's above
all the shit talk and not saying anything personal. And
if you go and get in the dirt or take
the lower route, you're talking that shit. Thank Adam. Yet
them backwards, Jake, give.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
The people one thing that you can guarantee that they're
going to get on November fourteenth when they tune in
the Netflix.

Speaker 3 (48:10):
Yeah, you're gonna see the two biggest fighters in America
go head to head with an amazing card World Championship
fights back to back to back. And that's just how
the MVP way we do it. And I'm gonna come
for a knockout of the year again. I've seen it
in my visions, I've seen it in my manifestation. I'm
sleeping this guy and going to create the most viral
knockout ever.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
I said this yesterday, but the best case scenario of
this entire thing for Jake is exactly that sleeping tank,
because you know what it does. Just like if he
would have slept Mike Tyson, which I did not want.
I'm just saying, if he would have done it, he
would have become the biggest villain in box, right. Imagine
he like sleeps fifty eight year old Mike. Everyone would
hate Jake Paul. Now, contrary to what other people think,

(48:49):
I think that would have turned into more numbers because
people hate him so much they want to see him
get knocked out. You'd have to pick his opponent wisely
in the next one. But same principle applies here. If
he knocks out Javonte Davis, he gets on that microphone
and says, I'm not only the biggest face in boxing,
I'm the best knockout artist in boxing. And everyone knows.
It's like cotten a bullshit because Gervonte's the one hundred
and thirty five bounds. But now the boxing fandom is

(49:09):
riled up. Now they're intrigued. Now they want to go
and get their savior, whoever it's gonna be, Anthony Joshua Canelo,
whoever to go and stop this man and knock him
out in this show permanently and that is what drives viewership.
Even the casual fans would do that. So yeah, if
he actually did have some viral knockout, that would be insane.

Speaker 6 (49:28):
Uh. You know that.

Speaker 5 (49:32):
A sitement, you know, that's why I bring to the
sport assitement. That's why I'm the one that doing the
most at the gate, and.

Speaker 4 (49:40):
That's why I respect Tank. That's why this is amazing.

Speaker 3 (49:42):
He's a showman, he's a g He's got his oar,
his swag, his you know, his fans. I really respect
him for taking this fight. Look at what you know
Floyd Mayweather did. He fought Connor McGregor, who was like
the same way. This is the most risky fight that
Jervonte could take in boxing.

Speaker 4 (49:58):
He actually has the balls.

Speaker 3 (49:59):
In he's putting it on the line and it's a
much tougher fight than Floyd had against Connor in a
crossover fight like that.

Speaker 4 (50:05):
So respect to him.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
It's going to be a show and we can talk
our shit at the end of the day, but people
are gonna tune in and we're both gonna show out
and someone's getting put to sleep.

Speaker 6 (50:14):
This is really scripted, like you really going off going
off of something. Huh, Tank.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
All right, bro, Yeah, that's about to get clipped up
and sit everywhere. Jake is like giving Tank props after
he called him boring as fuck. First off, he's given
Tank props. He's like, listen, you said it would be
Tank's biggest test. I think Tank's biggest test right now
would be a U Shoukhar Stephenson fight. Just saying but
he's like, giving tank is prompts. Then at the end
of it, Tank goes, this ship's really scripted. Huh, this

(50:46):
is scripted, allegedly, act I'm planned. I the way Concept
did not say that. That was Tank that said it.
I do not believe that Jake's fights are in any
way scripted. And Tank was saying that what Jake was
saying about sounded like a script, sounded like he had
memorized it and wrote it down. But it's just funny
the way he just said that. Damn, this really is scripted.

Speaker 5 (51:08):
Like you really going off going off of something. Huh
you said, how you just threw that out there, Floyd,
So I get this. Y'all might not catch it, but
let write.

Speaker 4 (51:18):
Okay, what'd you say?

Speaker 6 (51:21):
She said? We caught it, so were on the same page.

Speaker 1 (51:24):
So Tank is this is interesting. Tank is like, oh
he had that ready. You see how he brought up
Floyd and you know, talked about me and Floyd and
how I'm doing better than whatever. Tank is looking at
it like Jake bringing Floyd into the conversation to talk
about it in some way was like scripted because of
Floyd and Tank's relationship, or like to drive a wedge there.

(51:46):
I don't know. I don't think that was the case. Like, yeah,
Jake definitely had prepared the comparison to what Floyd was
doing with Connor, because Jake is a master of narrative,
and to be fair, this is somewhat of a similar situation,
even though Lloyd was a bit older at that point
and Jake is a lot more were experienced than Connor was.
This is a bit of a you know, circus fight,
whatever you want to call it, but there's was a
pro match. This is an exhibition, different sized gloves, different

(52:09):
sized humans, YadA YadA. But yeah, Tank in some way
is like, oh, you had to bring up Floyd to
compare to me. You had to drive away Davante.

Speaker 6 (52:18):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (52:21):
You know what? Okay, they are they're in Miami. I
was gonna say what the fuck is Aiden Ross doing there?
Look we got Rollie in the crowd too, Oh my god.
And of course Aiden sasy ass got up there. Jervonte,
how you doing?

Speaker 6 (52:32):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (52:33):
Oh good, Gervonte? You do I fuck with you? I
fuck with you heavy Javonte. But I want to side
bet you.

Speaker 6 (52:40):
I got Jake Wooding. We already did. What was the bet?
Two hundred? Let's go two fifty, that's go five hundred. No, no,
how not?

Speaker 1 (52:52):
Come on Jake for the for the first time, Jake
not doing the bet. Okay, Aiden, mister big money just
got the hundred mill from rain Bet from what I heard,
allegedly says he wants to go to fifty. Dramonte says,
put five hundred thousand. They're talking about, not five hundred dollars,
which would be way too much for me. Chim Jack,
y'all are making fifty million dollars for this on Netflix.

Speaker 2 (53:15):
I can't do it.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
You split the battle me too. By the way, what
Aiden said right there about fifty million dollars, that's not
a random number that he just threw out. Apparently Jake
leaked it on a live stream, with Aiden saying that
him and Dramonte were making around fifty million dollars for
this fight. Oh my god, that's a lot of money.

Speaker 6 (53:30):
Fifty two easy.

Speaker 4 (53:31):
Easy, Let's make it a million.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
Who Let's make it too, Jay, Let's.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
Make it too Yeah, shank.

Speaker 6 (53:43):
Mil two mill, two mill.

Speaker 1 (53:45):
That's two mil, right here too, two mil? Easy, Bryan
to mail, get a auctioneer.

Speaker 6 (53:51):
All the shaking shaky left here?

Speaker 1 (53:54):
Size check hold on size check size check. It looks
like Jake is about to take Tank to the principal's office. Okay,
number one. I entertained this because Aiden got involved and
it's a fun thing. I can almost guarantee that no
one pays up on this bet. It has never happened.
We've seen bets time and time again with Jake Paul

(54:16):
fights and other fights. The only time we ever saw
someone actually quote unquote pay up their side of the
bet was when Tyram Woodley actually went and got a
tattoo of Jake's name on his hand after Jake knocked
him out. That's the only time I've ever seen anyone
pay up in these bets, So I highly doubt anything
comes to this. And also, Gervonte tweeted out right after
the press conference he was never getting that two mill.

(54:37):
I don't give a fuck what happens. Just as quickly
as the bet was made, it's kai bosh. In other words,
this is all bullshit. These bets never actually go through.

Speaker 6 (54:47):
Appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
Where's Tank? Sashang off to.

Speaker 5 (55:00):
You, how much you want to bet?

Speaker 1 (55:10):
I was waiting. I was waiting for that Nakisa appearance.
I need it more than I need air. He walks
right up to Nakisa squat over.

Speaker 6 (55:20):
He said, how.

Speaker 1 (55:21):
Much you want to bet? You bet? Motherfucker. Oh my god,
this is awesome. Oh my god, Nikisa, He said, how
much you want to bet? Nikisa said, I'm betting you
guys put on the biggest event of the year. Come on, dude,
come on, I'm not betting.

Speaker 6 (55:39):
I'm not betting on the fight. Your g I'm not
betting on the fights.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
Yo, Tank, low keepl the Jake fall on the Kisa.
I like that. There you go, Tank, Because listen, Jake
is always asking his opponents how much you wanna bet.
I'm gonna bet your purse. We'll double your purse, all this,
and then they say no. He goes, oh, you ain't
confident now again. Nikisa is the main promoter, so it
would be kind of weird to bet on Jake, but
we all know, like it's Jake's manager and Tank has

(56:07):
his own promotional company behind him, Like that's the same
thing Jake used to do. Oh that's your guy. Yeah,
go ahead. What you're not confident? You're not confident in
your boy? I like that from Tank, A little bit
of mind games. Maybe not with Jake himself, but with
the promoter port.

Speaker 6 (56:20):
He Alonso brobike dot com. This is for Tank.

Speaker 13 (56:23):
Tank, You've talked about his inexperience and you've called them
a clown.

Speaker 6 (56:27):
Are you taking him seriously in this fight?

Speaker 5 (56:29):
For sure? You're a bigger guy. Look at him. I
gotta take him serious, won't you?

Speaker 6 (56:35):
Facts?

Speaker 1 (56:37):
So you do? Have you? So when you get Tank
a little energy, he's the funniest shit. You gotta get him.
You gotta wake him up a little bit.

Speaker 6 (56:44):
Could win two million dollars in this bet. What are
you buying with those two million? Two million? I don't know.
I can't even say it because motherfucker's gonna hate me
for it. So I'm a chill. I might donate it.
Are you more excited now to chieve that back?

Speaker 1 (57:00):
When you're two million dollars.

Speaker 5 (57:01):
Five two million. I'm not donating two millions. I come
from the hood, not doing that. I give something something.
I ain't doing two million. I ain't that damn rich this.

Speaker 1 (57:13):
Man thanking something else. I ain't about to say what
I'm doing. I'm just donated. Matter of fact, No, I'm
not donating that. I'm not donating tool he said, I'm
from the hood. Oh he's taking something else. Bro just
immediately contradicts himself. Thought about it for a second, was like, actually, nah's.

Speaker 9 (57:31):
Going on y'all. My name is Sean West with Remixed
Sports Media. My question is for both Jake and team
all right.

Speaker 1 (57:38):
So.

Speaker 9 (57:40):
Drake is known for dropping million dollar bets on fights
like this. If he decides to place another bet on
this Netflix matchup when I'm at fourteenth, why should he
put it on you? And what do you say to
the fans who follow those bets and might wager on
his fight themselves.

Speaker 6 (57:55):
Who are you talking to? What you say? Again?

Speaker 4 (58:00):
I'm saying, if Drake, what's the bet on this fight?

Speaker 6 (58:03):
Why should he bet on you?

Speaker 1 (58:06):
And I'm sorry that might be one of the worst
questions I've ever heard at a press conference. And I'm
not even exaggerating. What does that Even if Drake is
gonna put a million dollars down, why would he put
a million on you? Who gives a fuck where Drake
puts his money? I love Drake, Drizzy Drake all the way.
Oh vo sound October's very own right here? But who
gives the ship? Drake?

Speaker 6 (58:26):
Oh Drake Drake? What you mean? Why? What do you
bet on me?

Speaker 4 (58:34):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (58:34):
Let me know, come on, man, you from Miami?

Speaker 4 (58:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (58:38):
Yeah, to raise I know.

Speaker 4 (58:41):
Yeah, he said came in.

Speaker 6 (58:44):
He said, came in right? What you mean? You just
walked in? Him?

Speaker 1 (58:49):
Him, The dude announced he has his own some sports
or remixed media and tanks like, oh you're from Miami. Yeah,
you just walked in here, didn't you. Essentially take is like,
oh you're not media. I can tell oh you're not
media by that fucking question? What was that?

Speaker 2 (59:03):
All right?

Speaker 6 (59:04):
This question is for Jake?

Speaker 3 (59:06):
What up?

Speaker 4 (59:06):
Bro?

Speaker 6 (59:06):
What man? Big fan?

Speaker 13 (59:09):
Uh Awsome, your training uh me and the guys you know,
Larry Wade and Theo Chambers. We see you making these
big bets and ship. So when you win this bonus,
how much motherfucking money?

Speaker 4 (59:20):
We get it I'll give you half.

Speaker 6 (59:24):
You need it for a new set of eyes my team.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
Nahan, you ain't about to say that about my guy
ja Yon. Dude, you ain't about to say that. I
thought him and Jay Leon were like homies. Maybe he's trolling,
but damn he said let me get half, and thank said,
you need that for some new set of eyes.

Speaker 6 (59:42):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
That's crazy, coach, Calvin fod.

Speaker 4 (59:47):
Oh, Calvin Ford, Jake Nigga went.

Speaker 5 (59:52):
From a real fighter to our uh YouTuber. That's how
shit go, right, that's how.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
Oh see, here we go. I knew I didn't know
that there was beef, but now I'm starting to understand
they may not be as close as they used to.
Jay Lean and Tank going back and forth now again,
I told you guys, this is the last video connection
from the Mayweather Gym and also just Mayweather promotions. They
both fought each other, they both fought under that promotion,
they both trained, I'm pretty sure together in that gym
for a long time. I think jay Leon watched Tank

(01:00:22):
come all the way up through the ranks. Here we go,
and by the way, shout out calvinfore, this is a
Tank's coach. He's getting the question off I like it.

Speaker 6 (01:00:27):
But here we go, go right, Yeah, I'm talking to you.
Yeah yeah, we went from a fight to know it's crazy,
jim me. You ain't never had a bad day up
under this. Yeah yeah, I don't know what it is. Yeah,
somebody buss is ass I'm gonnatch one. Sure, yeah right, I.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
Know, Calvium.

Speaker 6 (01:00:51):
I got nothing but love for everybody over there, nothing
but love. I got nothing but stay inside for whatever
it is. You stay on your side.

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
I'm on the guide.

Speaker 6 (01:01:03):
I'm a black man, another black man making millions of million.
I'm not trying. And we over here doing dumb ship too,
so it's cool to see it.

Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
So you went from a hall of fame on to
a to a YouTuber. That's what you You went to
a working with a hall of fame. So now you're
working with a YouTuber, right.

Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Ship, I mean you're you're forget see I mean here
And by the way, the way j Leon handled that
was pretty freaking mature man. I gotta admit this is
why Ja Leon is the homie. I I know Jay
Leon fairly well. Always been nice to me, always been
great to me.

Speaker 11 (01:01:39):
I am.

Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
I am proud of the way he handled that back
and forth. I don't know what's going on between those two,
but I I like the Tank is like, listen, it's wartime.
We're on different sides. But I also understand that this
is it's a little more complicated than that.

Speaker 14 (01:01:52):
But yay, I see y'all doing all this betting and stuff, right,
And I'm looking at the fight because I'm his coach.
This is a vice or his fight, and I'm a
very serious person.

Speaker 6 (01:02:02):
Facts.

Speaker 14 (01:02:02):
My question to you is where did twelve ounce gloves
come from? Why y'all couldn't take ten?

Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
He had eight?

Speaker 14 (01:02:10):
Har many giving him four ounces of the gloves. I
know I've got to say this because y'all betting all
this money. You understand them saying yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:02:18):
Wait, wait, you guys were the ones that wanted twelve
on gloves, not me. I'll do eight. The fuck I'll
do four. I'll do so.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
I said this when I did my first video. I
thought it would make more sense if Tank had smaller
gloves and Jake had bigger gloves since this is an exhibition.
But no commission would probably do that. It doesn't make
a lot of sense. And Calvin says the same thing there.
But here's the problem. When you introduce smaller and smaller gloves,
which Jake says he'll do eight, which is you can't
have at all. But if you let Jake get in

(01:02:45):
ten ounce gloves to hit tank, that's a fucking problem.
I know it just sounds okay, two ounces whatever, But
the hit diameter of those gloves, it shrinks to where
that pressure point if you land flush and a ten
ounce glove versus a twelve or a fourteen, that pressure
point that free can hit diameter radius is right there
in the middle of the glove and all the impact
is right there in the middle of the glove. That's

(01:03:06):
a two hundred and ten pound dude. I'm just saying,
if Jake hits him clean, I'm just saying, so.

Speaker 6 (01:03:10):
What do you want?

Speaker 4 (01:03:11):
Ten ounce? Eight ounce?

Speaker 14 (01:03:13):
If he once said that, I'm gonna go with that,
I wouldn't have web.

Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
No, you the twelve ounce came from your guys' side. No,
and I on on God, perfect, Then what do you want.

Speaker 6 (01:03:23):
Ten I didn't say that, so tenuts don't.

Speaker 4 (01:03:27):
Matter to me, and perfect it doesn't matter to him.
So man, well I always wanted, which was ten ounces?

Speaker 6 (01:03:32):
Great, you just based you just based up clean because
I was. I didn't know because you fight at tens.

Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
He fighting eight Yeah, your guys side, So I'm like,
show the emails and the screenshots.

Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
You guys asked for twelve hours part negotiation.

Speaker 6 (01:03:46):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:47):
No, let's do it. Ten ounces, let's do it. That's great.

Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
That's gonna make it more exciting for the fans. Thank god,
I wanted tens really badly.

Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Let's do it.

Speaker 6 (01:03:56):
Turn out cool? All right, bro?

Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
No, okay, Now again, the initial reaction is gonna be like,
oh yeah, Tank got tens. Jake's in trouble. I disagree.
I disagree that this works out better for Tank and
and it'll help Tank's power, right, it'll help with that.
But Tank is used to fighting in eights anyway, so
it's a heavier glove regardless. But Jake fights intens and
he hits harder. Again, I think it's gonna be very

(01:04:19):
difficult for Jake to landfley. But if he does, and
he lands directly on the freaking front knuckle of that glove,
he announces is not a lot. All right, here we go.
Apparently the audio went out here, Yo. This is one
of the craziest shots. Again, just the size difference. Man,
like this middle schooler wants to stand up to the
high school bully that took his kickball away. Man, this

(01:04:42):
is what it looks like. Oh little shove, Okay, okay, Tank,
there we go. Get it started. Then a little shove.
He kind of went back a little bit, wasn't expecting it.
And then look at Tank's reactions. He's quick with these reactions, man,
very interesting part. The only like breakdown worthy interaction that
they've had, honestly, even the verbal stuff, is this right here.

(01:05:05):
Jake goes to try to give Tank a little shove back,
a little jab kind of shove. But Tank, yeah, he
gets touched with it. But he's quick pull that shoulder back.
You know what I'm saying. He's quick to pull that
shoulder back. I just don't know if he could get
to that reach. Man, that's the biggest question from that
spot right there, could a left hand rein through on

(01:05:26):
the back side, because Tank is absolutely gonna look to
throw that left hand if Jake over extends on his
jast south pot orthodox matchup left hand down the pipe.
You can even see here. I'm not even trying to
do the whole body language breakdown, but you could even
see Tank could get under that left hand because he's
five nothing. He could roll under that left hand and

(01:05:46):
here comes the brickhand over the top. If he ask
something like that in ten ounces, I'm gonna tell you this,
Jake's two hundred and something pounds. That's still gonna hurt
at the very least, and who knows what, because Tank's
got ridiculous power. So Jake a little sloppy on the push.
He got a little he got pushed. He wanted to
get it back something. There's something to be taken away
from that. But lines up perfectly for a counter left hand.

(01:06:08):
And you even see his promoter here is kind of
grabbing his left hand because Tank wanted to let it
let it fly. And Jake backed up a little bit.
He said, oh, and Tank comes to that tank Man.
Tank said, where I'm from, the bullies get bullies, all right, dude,
there you go. Listen. Takeaways from this thing. I don't know.
Tank seemed to have a little bit more energy today.

(01:06:30):
He seemed to be more lively him going back and
forth with the media with Jay Leon, with Jake, with
Aiden Ross. There seemed to be a bit more energy today.
That's that's all I really asked for so in terms of,
you know, selling us on something. Sure, better job today
from both guys. Jake, you know, seemed a bit more
locked in here with Tank as well. They had a
little bit more fun, uh, Tank going after the Kiso

(01:06:52):
was pretty funny. But listen, this doesn't change anything in
my mind. The ten ounce gloves doesn't really change anything
to me. I mean again, I think that's a bad
idea for Tank. More so because even if Jake doesn't
land clean, those are ten ounce gloves still gonna hurt.
Tank is still punching in gloves that are two ounces
heavier than he normally uses, So I don't know how
that to win for him. The two million dollar bet
almost certainly won't happen, which I didn't think would in

(01:07:14):
the first place, but Tank pretty much confirmed it, and
we're all left with the same kind of idea that
we thought about this to begin with. This is an
entertainment exhibition circus style fight that we know is gonna
draw a ton of eyeballs. I'm gonna watch, and there's
gonna be great high level competition boxing on the underneath
card and even in the main event. If something is

(01:07:36):
to happen, if someone is to get knocked out, it
will go mega viral, and both these guys are gonna
make a shit ton of money. But the one takeaway
I would have, if anything at all, was watching that
little push back and forth with Tank and Jake. How
Tank was able to keep his ground when Jake came
to push him back and came to touch him with
that jab and over extended just a little bit on
that jab, and while Tank's arm was being held, he
was still right in line with that counter left hand

(01:07:57):
to snap that I think was within range to do it.
One of the questions that you will have as we
get closer to this fighter and Tank find ways to
close the gap, and I mean in distance to cast
shake with the brickhand, the backhand that left freaking grenade
he puts on everyone watching that little interaction and knowing
the skill level of Tank and knowing his timing and
knowing his feed and knowing his accuracy. For a guy

(01:08:19):
that doesn't throw a lot of punches, I think he
just might be able to And if he's able to
knock Jake Paul out, that would also be absolutely fucking crazy.
I'm ready to watch the show. November fourteenth, one day
before Chris you Bank Junior takes on Connor Benn. That's
gonna be a banger, and UFC three twenty two is
the same day Jack Della, Maddelena and Islam Makachev. You
can watch them all here with me. We will be

(01:08:40):
live until then. The question is who wins his exhibition
that apparently has judges, tenounce clubs. Jake Paul, Tank Davis, Netflix,
November fourteenth. Don't have those answers, but I guess we'll
find it. The Tank deactivate his account?

Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
What is going on?

Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
Bro?

Speaker 1 (01:08:55):
Okay, let's let's get into this one for the history
books in the sport of boxing pertaining to your fonte,
Tank Davis and Schaquor Stevenson. I have been watching this
somewhat casually, but it's been a back and forth based
on the fight with Jake Paul Tank potentially wanting to
retire and Chaquar Stevenson essentially saying, yeah, bro, you don't

(01:09:15):
want to fight me. It's been heated, and Tank apparently
has deleted his Twitter account and then remade it public,
then deleted all his replies. So we have to talk
about this whole thing. What is going on between Tank
Davis and Schaquor Stevenson. Is this a build up to
a fight that we're not seeing behind the scenes, or
is this just truly Tank going out sad to break down.

(01:09:37):
Let's go. There's the first tweet and I can't we
can't even click on it to zoom in on it
because of like Tank deleting his shit. Watch gone. That's insane. Anyway,
it started out this morning, he said, boxing definitely did
a turn and went from this side to that side
with the sunglasses and movie and this shit has no loyalty,
So why would I care? I move accordingly, Oh, that's

(01:09:59):
kind of a bar. Boxing is dead. This is Gervonte Davis,
who's about to fight in less than a month, declaring
boxing the sport of boxing dead. I don't know what
the innuendo is there. It went from this side to
that side. Shit has no loyalty, so why would I care?
There could be a couple of things that he's referring.
Could he be referring to I don't know, people switching sides.
Could he be referring to formerly being with Floyd Mayweather

(01:10:22):
and Mayweather Promotions to then being specifically with Al Hayman
PBC and Leonard Ellerby. Could he be referring to the
rise of Turkey Alla shake in boxing? We know that
Tank and Turkey have not had a great relationship. I
remember all the way back Tank was saying, you get
me too, Ferraris, I'll come fight over there. But if
Tank is talking about boxing being dead, look no further
to who potentially is contributing to that in the sense

(01:10:45):
that he's talking about then him And again I don't
mind Tank fighting Jake as just as long as he
retires after this is done, which he might actually do.
But he's a sitting world champion talking about boxing's dead.
Boxing's dead when a sitting world champion is doing an
exhibition whilst being a world champion, not giving his belt back,
not saying essentially I'm done at the highest level, but

(01:11:05):
just holding on to his belt, which again that's also
on the sanctioning body, the WBA, just being like, yeah,
go do whatever. But fore going matchups with Lamont Roach
in the rematch, which should have happened, that should have
been the number one fight. We're going a match up
with Shaquarie Stevenson even after the Jake fight. Now we're
learning that's probably not gonna happen. If boxing is dying
or boxing is dead, it is because you, as a
sitting world champion, took a fight with Jake Paul in

(01:11:27):
an exhibition. Stuff like that is what kills boxing. That's
what that's what does. And again I'm not sitting here
blaming anybody, but world champions are meant to fight world
championship level fight, not forego their world championship hold onto
the belt and go fight in an exhibition and then retire.
I just don't know what these things are responding to now.
Davante responded to a tweet of Chaquarure Stevenson's I don't

(01:11:48):
know what the tweet was, but he said, how much
you making a fight t o Like I said, you
was hurt, and you know I know that's why you
and my mentions right now. I know what I did
to you when we sparred, and you know how good
excuse me, and you know how you will feel if
I said I would give you a pay day, but
I'm turning my back. Get it out the mud. I
assume that says pussy so Jervonte, I assume is referring

(01:12:10):
to the williams Zapeta fight where Shakor was quote unquot
hurt hurt Number one, cor was not hurt in the
Williams of Peyta fight. Shakor got hit with a shot
from Williams Ofpaeda and is I think he got either
stepped on or his foot slipped and he kind of
fell backward a little bit. But he was not hurt
in that fight. He got hit with a punch, for sure.
It's boxing. If you swim, you're gonna get wet. And

(01:12:30):
he did have a different fight with Zapeta than a
lot of people expected. He kind of took it to
Zapeta or at least stood in the pocket with him
a lot more than people expected. But Davante is like, oh,
you know what happened to you in sparring and you
did get hurt. Okay, that's why he doesn't want to
fight Gervante. Then he says how much you make in
to fight t O? And then this is again, this
is how you know that Tank doesn't give a fuck
about the sport of boxing or anything to do with it,

(01:12:52):
you know, boxing, being alive or dead. The first thing
he mentions is how much you make, Like, let's go
ban for band on. What you're making again. There's nothing
wrong with Tank going to get his money, but let's
all be clear that that's all the fight is for Tank.
He's telling you without telling you, that he's fighting Jake
just because he's getting forty millions. When we talk about
boxing being dead, Tank has to line up at the
front of the line. I can't blame him, but don't

(01:13:14):
don't throw around all boxing's dead and people switch sides
and all of that. You chose not to be great.

Speaker 6 (01:13:18):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
You chose not to be great. Stuff like that. Choices
like that will kill boxing for sure. On a competitive level.
It won't kill it on a business level. On a
business level, until people run out of interest in these
kind of matchups, it'll do well on a competitive level.
Choosing not to fight the best will kill the sports.
So maybe it's better if people like Tank aren't in
the sport. And I don't even say that because I
want that to be the case. I think Tank is
ridiculously talented. But you can't want a fighter to fight

(01:13:41):
more than what they want to. You can't Tank fans
or Tank people that like Tank and think he's one
of the best. You can't want it for and then
Shakur came back with that's how I know you soft.
I can't even go back and forth with your soft ass.
You rather popping me on social media than get in
that fire and get embarrassed. I get it. Peace and
blessings upon you cuz he said the people got your
chest out so bad. You talking like you a killer

(01:14:04):
forgetting that you're the one that runs, bitch, I'll be
bringing the fight to you. This dude, a made up
character quote. Blessings upon you, clown ass dude want to
be Cadates. Oh oh my goodness. I mean, here's the thing, though,
you can't say that stuff about Shakur if you're not
willing to fight him. This is the point I think
that we're gonna come to today, is that Tank can
say all this stuff he wants, but if you're not

(01:14:26):
willing to fight Schakor, then none of it means anything anymore.
Even if you believe that Tank is gonna knock him out,
Even if you believe that Shakur is a runner, or
that he's not in the trenches, or he's not a boxer,
that that's willing to bring the fight or whatever, none
of it matters. You're talking from the sideline because you
won't fight him. What does that say about Tang? If
you talk all that stuff, you better want to fight otherwise?

Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
No one?

Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
Why what does it matter his opinion calling him a runner?
This and that, you have an opportunity to show the
world what he is. You have an opportunity to show
the world Chakur is not on your level. Chakor would
run from you, Chakur would lose. You'd beat him up
like you did in sparring. But you're not taking that
fight unless this is some big work and I'm getting
caught in it. This is Tank bowing out of the
fight in real time. Does anybody else not see this?
This is him bowing out? She of course says, you

(01:15:05):
took a knee in the middle of your last fight
like a fucking amateur, talking about you got grease in
your eyes because the fight was getting tough. Then you
got on here crying about people being fake, but you
the fakes dude in boxing? What happened to us six?
What happened to your six seven fight deal?

Speaker 10 (01:15:18):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (01:15:18):
Is that some kind of some kind of gen Z
six to seventh thing? What happened to the six seven
fight deal? I don't know if that's a that's a
reference point there that I'm missing, but I assume that
is in response to Tank's deal with the PBC. But yeah,
now we're talking about Tank. If you want to talk
about someone getting dropped or got hurt, he's talking about
Shakor getting hurt versus Williams of Beta, which he did it.
Tank is the one that took a knee in this

(01:15:39):
fight versus Lamar Roach hurt or not. He's the one
that had to take a break. He's the one that
took the knee and ran to the corner talking about
I got grease in my eye again that you could
say what you want about Chakor, but schr course shows up.
She course taken tough fights. Of course, says I want
toa Fimo Lopez. Tank said he wanted to have Femo,
but we never got that fight. Tank said he smoked Shakor,
but we never got that fight. And it's starting to
become clear as to why we're not getting those fights

(01:16:01):
because Tank didn't really want it. Again, I think Tank
is one of the most talented boxers in the sport.
I think he's got underrated defense. I think his feet
are fantastic. His handspeed is great, he has got an
insane catch counter, his reactability, his power. Obviously, he's got
a lot of tools that people don't even give him
credit for. He is one of the most accurate boxers
while not throwing punches like other guys. Will you could, Yeah,

(01:16:23):
fifty mil I get it. It's all great. I can't.
I can't. Like I said, I'm not mad at Tank
for taking money, But you then have to reserve yourself
to going okay, especially if you're not gonna fight other guys,
if you're gonna walk off into the sunset, you gotta go. Yeah,
you know what, I didn't want it with sh your corps.
I didn't want it with to you. That's what you
have to say, because all this talking about it after
the fact, that doesn't mean anything anymore. So whether you
whether you agree that Tank should have taken the money

(01:16:45):
or not, whether you agree he should have fought tough
level competition or exhibition with Jake Paul, what you can't
do is sit online talking like you're gonna beat these
guys when you never you never got in the ring
with them, you never wanted to. That's the thing I'm
sitting here like, you can't do this if you weren't
willing to it to the test. And after the Jake fight,
which will pull up the tweet in a second, it
looks like Tank's gonna retire. You can't act like you

(01:17:06):
were the boogeyman that no one wanted to fight when
it was actually you they didn't want to fight.

Speaker 4 (01:17:10):
Then.

Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
Anyway, we continue Tank quote tweets. They trying to cast
you out fam What you're not realizing nobody wants to
see you fight. You boring in the ring and you
boring outside the ring. W a big ass gap, the
pushing the narrative that I'm scared of you, when you
and me know this is not true. It's no one
wants to see you fight. They loses money. Jesus Christ.

(01:17:31):
They loses money when you fight. Your own daughter said
you almost got knocked down. Yeah, okay, again the daughter line.
It's a funny line because yeah, what his daughter said
was really funny, But it doesn't mean anything. Shaquor was
not in the least bit hurt. And Tank is saying,
I don't want to fight you because no one wants
to see you fight again. I get it. You want
to make your fifty million. You want to be in
big fights, But to me, that just shows that Tank

(01:17:52):
had no interest in being the best in this because
Tank fought guys that had no clout, had no drawability
before that mott Roach, well, mott Roach was drawing. Fuck,
no Tank beats Jake Turkey, gonna make the Tank Shakort fight.
This is what I hope that, in some way, shape
or form, we still get the fight, because all this
back and forth, it's making it more interesting.

Speaker 7 (01:18:11):
To me.

Speaker 1 (01:18:11):
The build is happening, whether they're trying to or not,
and I'm hoping that both guys see this. Maybe I'm
getting worked a little bit and I'm hoping this is
what is happening, is that we're getting a bit of
them throwing it out there and then the fight happened.
But if he goes, if he up and retires in
the middle of it, then it's like what the fuck,
which is probably what's gonna happen. Knowing Tank, that's what's
gonna happen. Well, this was when someone responded to him

(01:18:31):
when he said boxing did a turn all that. Someone
said please retire. Then he said I am in eight weeks.
I tend to believe him Shakur came back. Yeah, I'm
done with you. Gang. You got it. Man's bragging about
my daughter saying what she said, Tank, I wish you
nothing but the best for your career and your family.
Never had no hatred for you. It was business. But
I'm better than you at boxing and you know it,
and I'm satisfied with that. Tank can't come back and

(01:18:53):
be like, you're not better if he's not willing to fight.
And Chaquur is very smart for putting it that way.
That's a great sponsor from Chakor because all he's telling
Tank is I'm better than you, and if you think differently,
come improve it, which is the entirety of the sport
of boxing, the predication of the sport the best in
the world. I think I'm the best and I'll beat you.

(01:19:13):
Come and prove it. If you think it's different, come
improve it. If you think I'm wrong, Every sport ever
is predicated on that you're not. And just how you
say all that buddy buddy stuff, I know that's what
you want. Shake up right after the fight and shit, right,
fam fuck you that right there is a dunk and
he said, state blessed little He's trying to go Tank
into a fight, and I respect it because why not

(01:19:35):
these are the names you need to beat to become
a superstar. Tank is like clowning him like you're not
a superstar haha, not realizing that him and Chakur is
probably the biggest fight outside of Jake Paul he could do.
Why not keep your options open after the Jake Paul fight?
Why not try to keep your options open for potentially
Turkey Illa Shake to come through and say, hey, I
got one more massive fight for it. But this last
interaction is the is the checkmate for me? What Chakor says,

(01:20:00):
I'm better than you at boxing, and you know it,
I'm satisfied with that, Like He's like, listen, by you
not fighting me, I won, by you not wanting to
prove you were better.

Speaker 4 (01:20:07):
I won.

Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
I'm better than you and your responses and you continually
not taking the fight and finding reasons not to tells
me that I'm better and that you didn't want it,
and Tanks like, no you're not, but you're all saying
that buddy, buddy, shit fuck you. Tank once again emotional
and Shaquor trying to stick it on it, and then
the freaking Cherry on times that Javonte just deleted Twitter
after he deactivated after the entire exchange. If that's not

(01:20:31):
a ten eight, I don't know what is back and
forth with Shakor Stevenson made him delete his Twitter complete deactivation.
How does that not tell you who got more emotionally involved?
How does that not tell you who can't stand this
idea that someone's better that people are calling him a dult?
You know what you do about that Tank? You fight him?
H e Turkey Ella. Shaike has got to get involved here.
I'm just saying it. That's the only way this fight happened.

(01:20:52):
Big Chi needs to get these two in a room
and make a fight happen after this Jake Paul fight.
It has to again intentionally, You're not. They are building
more and more interest in this thing as the days
go by. I'm starting to want more and more for
Tank and Chaquor. If I didn't want it already, I
want it more now. Maybe it's the principle of wanting
the thing I can't have. But there's more than that

(01:21:12):
to this fight. There is this back and forth. It
is personal. They are two of the best in the world.
They do have conflicting style, their approaches to the fight
are different. All of that makes for an insane matchup
that we just need the high level technician and Chaquor Stevenson. Again, Tank,
I think underrated technician. But the power, the demolition, the devastation.

(01:21:33):
You want to talk about boxing is dead. It's because
we don't have fights like this. And again cha Quarantina
Femo Lopez, fantastic fight. That's another one that I think
is a fantastic, world class fight, top of the bill,
best in the world fight to make. But even that one,
it doesn't measure up the way Shakur and Tank. That
fight is one that I think just has to have.
And sadly, the way Tank is is moving it maybe

(01:21:56):
never will. That is the only reason to me you
take a Jake Paul fight to have one more right
off into the sunset. And again, it's not like Tank
is lied about what he wants out of the sport.
He wants to make a ton of money and bounce.
That seems like what he's gonna do. But I will
say this, back and forth with Shaquor getting interesting, and
I'm a pro wrestling mindset, so I'm always wondering if
I'm getting worked? Am I getting worked?

Speaker 7 (01:22:15):
Here?

Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
Is this back and forth more than just two guys
talking shit? Is this potentially a bild? Is this potentially
the start of a build between Shakur and Tank, Tank
deleting the Twitter, getting more people to be involved, more
people taking a look, more people discussing. The hype is building.
Like I said, Turkey Ala Shay, if you can get
him in a room and make this fight, this would
make boxing grady. I know, I know Chakor's got a

(01:22:37):
fight lined up with Tiafimo Lopez. I know that's probably
gonna be in the early part of twenty twenty six,
but mid twenty twenty six, right there in the middle
where Tank has a couple of months after this, Jake
Paul Exhibition to sit back at home and be like,
you know what, I still got one more. I got
one more in me. It could happen. But the reality
of the situation, when I look at it on Twitter,
when I see the way Tank responds, when I see

(01:22:57):
how emotional he gets, the reality is it probably won't.
That's unfortunate. But you guys tell me what you think
in the comments below. Will Shakur in Tank fight? Can
h E put it together. I don't have those answers,
but I guess we'll find out

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
