(00:23):
you're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Greetings, Happy Monday, Welcome
inside the return of the Jason Smith Show with my
base s friend Mike Harmon. Well Dreth Cobo. Happy twenty
twenty six, Beny do Yeah, whether it's twenty twenty five

(00:49):
or twenty twenty six. Over forty years, tire racksmen open
customers find the right tires for how, what and where
they drive. Shipped fast and free backed by free Road,
has a protection with convenient installation opts like mobile tire Installation.
Tirerack dot Com is the way tire buying should be. Well,
here we are back after winter break. Right, It's like
it's back in school. What did you do then? I

(01:09):
did this? I did this, I did this, I did
what you do? It's great. Yeah, it's great. Now we're back,
and I'm I'm excited, Like I'm like a kid the
first day going back to school, wearing all the new
clothes that I got of good look at Swatch my dad.
My dad got me a Jets hoodie and I'm like, well,
I'll wear it today and then i'll burn it. Uh,
you know the new pants. I'm like, yeah, I'm wearing
all my new clothes the first day back. It's exciting.

(01:30):
Your hair is longer. You have long hair in the back. Yeah, well,
I mean I usually have a hat on you. Yeah,
but you covered it up. But your hair is longer,
and I'm trying to think. I'm trying to think, what
coach you know? You look like Dama Halgerson. Nice yet
the long Yeah, Unfortunately, it's starting to look mullet like,
so it's gonna have to get chopped here in short order.

(01:50):
I just had a doing the Early Morning Sunday Show.
I love doing it. Greg Cosell was out this week,
so Jared Smith stepped in.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
But then I'm a wreck on Monday, so I have
to take a long nap. So that took up what
should have been a haircut time. Yeah, but it did
not stop my phone going bleep bleep, bleep, bleep bleep
that guy fire? Why is it that guy fire? And
all of those kind of news items over the course
of the day. So beautiful to be back with you guys,
A long long time coming as we get ready for

(02:21):
another big year. And now Frostburg hates the Patriots just
as much as I do. Sure as he is getting
set for the Charger Patriots game this weekend. What are
you talking about? I love the Patriots. How do you
love the Patriots? You'll see Sunday night?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Okay, okay, Well, because they've tormented the Jets low these
many years. Yeah, and after a Charger victory is what
he's saying here, we move on. No road dogs and
a week off for Justin Herbert. We got to see
the Trey Lance experience.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, that was that was somewhat exciting.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
He was one of sixty two this year, one of
sixty two starting quarterbacks.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
You know very well they're frauds. Yeah no, no, hey dude,
I am. I am. I'm looking football like you. No, No,
I am looking for the two games. I'm looking forward
to the most, to seeing teams get exposed this weekend.
I'm looking forward to that game Sunday night, charged with
the Patriots, and I'm really looking forward to Texans Pittsburgh
Steelers on Monday night, looking forward to that.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Those those two one hundred Yeah, see, I think we
might differ on one of those. But it is interesting
that all of a sudden this week something we've been
harping on over the course of the year, and you
could do it with my Bears as well, with some
of their strength of schedule and their victories. I mean
they were only two and four in division and all
of that stuff. Is as the MVP talk really picked

(03:39):
up this week to a fever pitch with Stafford and
having a big game against Arizona and Drake May, suddenly
the Patriots schedule started to really become a big topic
of conversation.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah. Yeah, something we did all year long. Gun. I mean,
you look, you can only beat who's on it.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Right again, if it gets you to a double digit wind,
you take advantage of it because guess what next year
is gonna flip? Oh, sure, Bears at a week schedule
this year, guess what happens. Hardest schedule Yeah, by the books,
of course, then you have to play all two hundred
and seventy two glorious games and we find out what
it looks like a year from now. But but yes,
that is part of the math that is going on,

(04:19):
not only for the MVP race, but as we look
ahead to the wild card weekend and the chaos to come.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Now, before we get started, I want, I want to
say this because I've been waiting to throw this by
you since for about six days. Now six days, okay,
so the over the break and we'll get to the coaches.
We got everything going on tonight. But I really I
had the greatest star sighting on vacation, and I want

(04:44):
to see you guys here. I'll tell I'm gonna tell
you where I was. We went to Yosemite for New
Years and it was awesome, right, great time?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Maybe New Year's Day? No New Year's Eve? New Year's Eve.
We're in the park and we're you know, you're hiking
to all these different locations. You hiking, and we're going, dude,
were you drinking on the bike is like a beer?
And then I'm gonna tell you my new body. We
did a six mile hike on on on on December thirtieth,

(05:18):
and I felt great after I was like, I was
so dreading it the night before going walking. He's gonna
be a six months is gonna be hill in your backyard?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
It's not, dude. We did a six ke bike. Hey,
that's running up the hill. Get it right.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I was like, man, this is awes rinking. I love that.
This is great. I love I love it. I felt great.
So now you're gonna be grizzly Adams. You watch it
at walking stick mister outdoors. Now that's me. Yeah, all
of a sudden, I'm shopping at RII all the time. Yeah. Actually,
gonna grow that beer. So we're going to one of
the waterfalls and were you chasing it? Well? I was chasing.

(05:52):
They said, well, they said don't go chasing it, but
I chased it. And then they said no, stick to
the rivers and the lakes you're used to. And so
we're walking up to the vantage points for the waterfall
and walking by me boom and I go and Pam's
like like, oh, Pam, Pam, And I say that's in.
Pam looks, oh my god. And we're with our cousin
and the movie this person is known for. It's one

(06:15):
of her favorite movies. But she was at a different location.
And I felt so bad because I'm like, oh, Sam,
this is her favorite movie and she would have got
to see this person from this movie. And I was like,
oh man, but she was, you know, twenty minutes away
the place. So we're like, she didn't believe us when
we told her who we saw. She was no, I said,
trust me, trust me, So I'll see you guys. Guess
who it is? From a sports movie? Okay, sports movie,

(06:38):
sports movie, huge sports movie, incredibly popular sports movie ninetieska
but still incredibly popular today. This is really the only
movie this person, this actor is known for. They've done
other things, but this is the but it doesn't matter
because this person was so popular in this movie. The

(07:00):
T shirt you could buy today with this person's picture
on it and the big quote that they have from
the that that it's attributed to this character, with this
character from the movie like that that. Like I'm gonna say,
you're gonna go, oh my god. And luckily I just
I happen to know what this person looked like in
later years because because you know this now it's thirty
years going on, and I'm like, oh my god, that's bad.

(07:21):
We're right away. We don't like, oh, we should we
say something, but I'm like, ah, this person probably gets
stuff like that. So active or only I don't know.
I don't know how active they are now, but really
the only like if I said, you're like, oh, yes,
and this is the only movie they're known for. But
they had such a big role in this movie. This movie,
the movie in the nineties, classic, absolute classic movie. You've

(07:44):
probably seen it fifteen twenty times. That's good. It's a
good one, ty shirt and you got a guess or no, Samos,
it's not John, Yes it was. It was. It was
both of the Olsen twins and John Stambley. No, no, no
breaking news. Wait which twin looked better? Uh? In order?

(08:05):
In order? In like top twenty five Mary Kalkay so
nineties movie. Okay, now I'll give you. I'll give you
a hint. Was a kid actor in the movie. So
an adult now And luckily I knew what they love
justin Cooper not just oh every night at midnight when
he walks the claw. I mean that would make it

(08:28):
a sports movie claw, this complete sports movie, baseball movie,
baseball movie. So I can't be about one of the
kids from the Sandlin' good actor Mike Harmon, take a guess. Oh,
I have no idea what any of their names are?
Small small they and I wanted to say, you're killing
me small Yeah, I wouldn't beg Yeah, I would not

(08:49):
have been able to Picniggy small I was. I was
thinking of an actor name. Yes, there go. I was like,
oh my god, it's Smalls. That's Smalls from the Sandlot.
He's hiking and with.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Smalls makes a good six figures a year. Going to
come like, Wow, that's awesome. And my cousin was so
she goes, no, you're lying. You're like, no, I swear
to God. And you could see how excited we were
at the end. She's like, oh, you guys weren't kidding.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
We saw Smalls. He was there, man one of his
head's awesome, but like he's with his family and stuff,
like hevery walk up to him. You're killing me smoke great,
Thanks thanks a lot for that. Yeah, thanks.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Like the hiker went over the edge John New Year's Day,
he would not see twenty twenty six, This what happened?

Speaker 1 (09:31):
This former child star is on trial for murder after
throwing a radio host overhut copy tan In Yosemite and
then he threw the shirt down after him and said,
you're killing me. Here's video of Jason Smith going over
yelling Jets YOUO one final time? No glad. I was

(09:51):
so excited. I'm like, oh my god, I saw small
and I was gonna tweet out that I but I'm like, no,
I gotta save it for the show. Gotta save your
It's pretty impressive. Yeah, yeah, no, it's good. And being
good eye, good eye and being able to tell this
story takes me away from the fact that the Knicks
got absolutely drubbed by the Pistons tonight and have lost
four games in a row. On the Pips side, I mean,
the Pistons were a team you were really excited about

(10:13):
two years ago. And now there's two things. There's two
sides to this, right, No. Number one, I don't know
why we're still playing basketball. The Knicks won the title.
I saw the confetti, I saw everything. I don't know why,
but they already won.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
So what does it matter until there's a parade, But
down the streets of New York City and a banner
is raised.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Hi, I know James Dolan spoke for the first time. Yeah,
for I forgot. I mean, I know his singing voice.
I know you know. He's on the radio in New
York today talking about the Knicks for the first time
in two years, saying, hey, we can win a title
as we're constructed. I'm like, of course we can. Was
we already won the title. I watched the confetti come down,
I watch hats go on and T shirts, and you
already want I don't know why we're still playing the NBA.

(10:52):
I don't know why. So am I really concerned about
the next before? No, I'm not. It's the middle of January,
beginning of January, and again we've already won the title,
but in a new season started on Christmas Days. Anyway,
to focus on the other part of this is who
did I tell you? I mean again, to go back
my two bold prediction picks in the preseason, I said,
you want two NBA finals bold prediction picks, one in

(11:13):
each conference where the odds were ten thousand or more.
And I gave you the Spurs in the West and
the Pistons in the East. And look at the Pistons
right second night of a back to back, they got
you know, Ivy coming off the bench now and he
has a big night, and they're young and they don't
know what they don't know, and if you don't come
ready to play, they are gonna run you out of
the gym. Right. The Pistons are absolutely legit. They should

(11:36):
wind up being the number one seed because they're young,
they're deep, they're everything I thought they would be. Everything
is finally coming together for them, and not only are
they gonna wind up being I mean this was probably
an Eastern Conference Final preview tonight. I mean the end
result will be different when when the game's r that's
gonna say.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
I mean, Jalen Bronson, if that's the look he's got
an Eastern Conference Final preview made I want that as
the next Top's living car. He immortalized like a statue.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
We already won the title. I don't know, I don't
know what. Everybody's so nervous, but the Knicks won the time.
I saw everything. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
I saw a sad face Jalen Brunson earlier. By the way,
forty six and a half was their total before the season,
thirty three.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
To one odds. Yeah, this was a look the two teams.
When you when you look at what's going in the
Eastern Conference this year. You know, it's a year of
flux and a year of change with the Celtics trying
to do it without Jason Tate.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Jalen Brown's doing his best after right. I look, and
the Celtics are staying afloat as much as they can. Clearly,
the trade deadline is going to be there for some
teams to make their teams better. But the Cavaliers are
not what they were the Indiana Pacers. Maybe Halliburton is
the real MVP of the NBA because they're terrible without him.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
So there's nothing that really scares you. And these look,
Orlando is a nice team. The Knicks are the bed.
Knicks have the most talent. But look at this Pistons team.
They're young, they're deep, there everything. This is where teams
come in and seize and seize the moment, and they
are seizing this opportunity. They played harder tonight on the
second night back than the Knicks. They're just like going
through the motions.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Now.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Look for the Knicks. It is Yes, it's the middle
of January. We're pretty good. We're gonna be a top
three team in the East. How big is home court
advent everything goes along. You don't know what's gonna happen
the NBA season regular season. For the veteran teams or
teams that have gone through it means less and less.
For the Pistons, they don't know any better. It's hey,
we want to get out there and get that number
one seit and that's great, but you see that being

(13:23):
the number one seed is not quite what it was
years ago in the NBA. But here's a young team that, hey,
we don't know any better. Not that we're gonna go,
but it's like, hey, okay, yeah, it's great to see this,
but when we get to the playoffs, things are gonna
be a little bit different. But the Pistons are absolutely
If you didn't think they were legit, they are absolutely legit.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Well we'll talk about it as the night goes on,
because certainly a lot of consternation across the NFL cities
for a couple of teams that still had opportunity to
improve their seating and said, to hell with it, we're
sitting our guys down right, and we're gonna sit out
Week eighteen and move on with the NBA.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
You have the same thing. The long arde is eighty
two game season. The only thing that matters is you
enter mid April with as much of your rotation intact
as possible. And for the Knicks, the way it's run
in the past, obviously there's some change, but it's still
not the greatest of depth situations. When we're talking about
running eight nine deep. No, you're still seven guys. So

(14:21):
what do you have to do. You've got to do
whatever you can during the course of these months to
be judicious about what Brunson's doing, certainly what Cat's doing,
so you don't run yourself into a situation whereby come April,
they've got nothing left. Mean that, we've watched teams do
that year after year. So yeah, the eighty two games,
as much as the number one seed ain't getting you

(14:43):
a giant bonus, Suddenly we start playing to that of Hey,
if you earn the number one seed, it's here's another
T shirt and hat ceremony and another million dollars in
your coll for per man Then maybe they buck up
and there's a chase for it. But until that, you're
gonna have a situation tonight it's like, all right, this
game's done. Let guys run out there as the second

(15:04):
team and let's live to Fight another day. Exit up
about a Fresco exit, swalling down The Jason Smith Show
with my best friend Mike Harmon excited to be back.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Fox Sports Radio The Jason Smith Show with my best
friend Mike Harmon. Uh so, quick story, real fast. I
want to tell you. Yeah, so you know that website
you tell me about players trunk dot com right, all
the equipment managers across the country who get together and
all the kid all the kids who transfer you can
buy their team owned gear, right or players trying to

(16:36):
make exactly so. And you know my wife hates you
for introducing that website to me. Yeah, so right now tonight,
Montana State beating Illinois State in the FCS National Championship.
Still about halfway through the fourth quarter, but Montana State
is winning. Montana State's quarterback is Justin Lamson. You remember
his name because he's been around Stanford for a couple

(16:58):
of years, but once upon a time time was Syracuse
University's quarterback and way he's gonna be the next starting quarterback.
Didn't work out and he transferred. For Christmas, I bought
my dad a pair of Justin Lampson's pants, team issued
Syracuse wait bobs, because but Justin lambs Justin Lampson's pants
because it's the same number my dad wore when he

(17:20):
played sports. Qore ten I'm like, oh, I'll get him
because Justin Lampson wore ten. My dad wore ten. So
I called him and I said, hey, those pants I
gave you.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
You know.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
He's like, oh, Justin lamps He goes, yeah, I think
you kind of remember the name of because okay, okay.
So when the game was going on tonight, I'm like, Dad,
turn on ESPN. Justin Lampson, you have his pants. He goes,
I gotta go put him on. So now my dad
is watching the end of this game wearing Justin Lampson's
team issued Syrahcu sweatpants. That is phantasmics happening right now. See.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
I thought you were gonna tell me you bought out
the entire Hunter Dickinson collection that they put up there.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
No, no, no, certain things are tough to get to,
like when they when they have it, when they have
a trunk drop and I was like, oh, I'll go
look at the next day. No, sometimes stuff is just.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Going The Northwestern stuff all sells out almost instantly. I
think Darren Ravel buys it all. So I don't think
I ever have a chance.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Exit out, not at Fresca exit swallowing down my dad,
very proud do you think blue Derek's pants? You think
that diseases? I think I can touch that, huh. Joining
us Now, I'm not online for all the big news
in the NFL. Well, you know him from Odyssey one
of five seven the fan in Baltimore Washington Post. He
is now also the new field goal kicker for the
Baltimore Ravens. It is Jason locking for it. Jay, what's happening? Man?

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Hey? What is that website called? You're talking about again?

Speaker 1 (18:37):
What's happened that website?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
He said something.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Trunk the players, Trunk dot.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Com, lighters, Trunky.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Sweet, all sorts of jerseys and T shirts and shorts,
you name it, practice issued whatever. So yeah, oh you
love it man. My dad, like I said, my dad's
weren't just to live. So first of all, let me ask, well,
how are you today after that loss last night?

Speaker 2 (19:03):
I'm doing better than my kids. I hit pretty much
every better had on that game. So I sat there
and greeving with them, and sat up with the eighth
grader while he cried himself to sleep. But I look,
we talked about it, remember radio. So last week we
do this segment where we make predictions, you know, bold

(19:25):
predictions before the game, and one of my co hosts
was like, you know, uh, big Loopers going to hit
like a forty yard or forty eight yard or fifty
yard field goal to win the game. And I'm like, bro,
you better hope not. And he's like, what do you mean.
I'm like, you better hope Lamar Derek Henry puts this
thing away with a touchdown or a kneel down, because
if it comes out of this kid, Alan, he's making

(19:46):
the kid he's never been tested. I mean they handed
him the job. They brought in no competition. They had
an undrafted kid, the Battle of the Kid, you know,
the kid pick, and they cut the undrafted kid like
a week in the kid and they never brought in
any veteran competition. And the way the season went, he
never got put in any clutch situations, and in the

(20:07):
second half as it got colder, and he was never
really good for more than fifty And again, people are
allowed to have growing pains. And it's not even about
the kid, but it's about the situation. Like we're talking
in like November, and I'm like, would you bring in
an established kicker to compete with him on a Tuesday?
Even though he hasn't lost the job yet. Just to
simulate pressure, you know what I mean, to simulate what

(20:31):
it could mean if his first kick of the year
is with the season on the line, his first real
kick of the year, his first attempted game winning truly
clutch kick happens when it really matters a ton, like
in the playoffs. And that was basically a playoff game,
and they botched. You got your midfield fifty three seconds,
three time outs. Derrick Henry's running pretty much wilder than

(20:52):
Derrick Henry's been taking pitch place to the house in
the fourth quarter of his whole career. And they never
put the ball in his hands, even though it was
on the field two minute trail. And he's never in
the two minute trail, So that was odds. The kneel
down that cost themselves a few yards and more time.
I just they played their whole season with no urgency.
Their final drive of the season didn't have the proper

(21:14):
sense of urgency. Hardballs lost the plot. The GM Eric DeCosta,
I don't know if he's ever had the plot. And
the most overrated front office in the NFL. Every year
the drafts are the most overrated all their buddies in
the media as a pluses, as everybody says how smart
they are in the offseason, even though they don't really
add players who are any good from any other organizations.

(21:37):
They don't have any pass rush to speak of. I mean, well,
we know these games and these broadcasters and it's hit
in production meetings, and you know, they want to be
buddies with everybody, and they're not really outside the rip people.
The way Chris collins Worth on a national broadcast talked
about their lack of pass rush. You just don't. You
don't see it that often in the industry, especially for

(21:58):
allegedly great front offices, build allegedly great rosters and have
everybody strokes to him all the time. I mean, he
was calling him out left and right because he had
no choice. I mean Aaron Rodgers in two desperation games,
dropped back eighty five times against him. They breathed on
him six times, they sacked him twice. He threw eighty
one passes. They didn't intercept any of them, and everybody

(22:20):
knew where the ball's gone. So in a game roll
it's going to Warrant, it was going to Washington. Well,
he got hurt, so now it's going to fire Booth
and this team that does nothing but load up on
defensive backs. None of them can tackle, and none of
them make players on the ball. And you couple that
with the team that's inherently built not to rush the
quarterback because no one on a team can. They had
one guy who kind of could, oh way, and then

(22:42):
he got to the Chargers and he really could. In
the return, they got a safety who doesn't really tackle
and got beat from more twenty yard players than any
safety in the league. So I don't know, man, Yeah,
it's tough times around here right now. But the kicker,
I mean again, they they could have signed a veteran ticker.
They held on to scummy Justin Tucker till after the draft,

(23:05):
and then at that point in time, most of the
good tickers are off the street, and so they wanted
to go young and cheap and shure how smart they are.
Well guess what, then, I smarter they think they are.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
I'm still holding up a picture with Derrick Henry's face
on it to ask more questions there. But the bigger
question that looms for the year Lamar Jackson being asked
about his future saying, not my focus, not what you
know we're talking about. Now, how does this end?

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Well, it ends with one coordinator, definitely, no defensive coordinators
act or Pop Munton maybe moving on. And look, I
would fight John Hobball and a Tatasta. They've been tied together,
the contracts are tied together. When one gets an extension,
the other one gets an extension. You know they're supposed
to be in this together. I'm not letting the Costa

(23:51):
pick coach. I'm not sending a message that, oh yeah,
personnel isn't really a massive part of this, because personnel
is a massive part of this. Do I think we'll
fire them both? I'm not sure. I Mean my hunch
is probably not. But he might not fire any of them.
He might just throw to Mike brown Route and you know,

(24:12):
keep his money in his pocket and doesn't want to
pay people to leave and doesn't want to deal with
all that. And I'll just keep kicking the can out here,
and we'll just keep wasting the best years of Lamar's career,
and we'll keep building teams that don't get takeaways, that
don't get that don't get any pass rush, and that
blow ten point leads in the fourth quarter, or eight
point leads in the fourth quarter or seven point leads
in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Jason Locking for our guest Jason Smith make harmon live
from the Fox Sports Radio studios. Are you mentioned guys
getting fired? We've had four head coaches let go on
Black Monday, Pete Carroll, let go Kevin Stefanski, Jonathan Gannon,
Raheem Morris. Any of these surprise you at all? Or
these like hey, yupp expected all of these and now
we're moving.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
On stuff I chronicled in my final columns at the
Washington Post, and everything I said was going to happen,
dry I heard was going to happen happened. There were
a lot of people out there saying Gannon was going
to be okay, come on, you know the Dolphins were
going to kick the can with McDaniel. That was pretty
clear about a month ago. I still think there will

(25:15):
be other dominoes that fall. The horrible thing we just
talked about. I you know, I still think there's a
chance that Andy Reid could maybe decide to move on, retire,
quasi retire, something like that. There's always a surprise, something
always sort of comes out of left field. You know,

(25:37):
I don't know, does somebody losing the playoffs and an
owner gets too the singer, I mean, I doubt it, Tampa.
You know, I wonder maybe there's a shooting drop there,
but so far it's been basically, uh, basically you know
what what I expected. So stific who think will floor

(26:01):
is people who think will floor? I don't know if
I buy it. I mean, you talk to some coaching agency,
talk to some executives, like they wonder, you know, Ben
Johnson oviscerates them and I don't think, Sorry, but I
don't think your bears are going to visserrate them. But
there's a little bit of chatter about that. I know
some coaches out there, coaching candidates are kind of wondering, hoping,

(26:25):
thinking that could become open, because obviously that's immediately a
coveted job. But my suspicion is it does not.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Yeah, I would be a curiosity there, certainly, the way
they go down the stretch here and all the injuries.
But we look at Stefanski gets fired, but Barry sticks around,
and even when Haslam's making his speech, Jason, he's talking
about the personnel and all the limitations, yet he gets
to pick the next set of groceries. I'm a little worse.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
That's what people around the league were expecting that it
would go down this way, in large part because this
draft looked pretty good, and because this guy's taken a
lot of heat in the past for tearing the whole
thing down and he likes having you know, sort of
analytically minded die around and that was deep Night. It's

(27:14):
Arry and Deepadesta. But you know, Deepenedesta's gone. I wouldn't
be shocked after the draft they bring in another personal
person and then maybe reshuffle around some titles and you know,
Barry kind of gets kicked upstairs and somebody else maybe
comes in to do some of the GM stuff. That's
a sort of chatter that's been out there in scouting
circle for a while now. But no, I did not

(27:36):
think he was going to be let go. I mean, look,
some of these franchises just can't get out of their
own way, and it was time for Stefanski to move on.
But Stefansky obviously had the best fund there that any
coaches had under has them and they might find themselves
hard pressed to replace them and find somebody to do
what Stefansky did, which again he had to go and

(27:59):
I know he didn't want to be anymore. He made
it real clear with the way you ran the team
for a while you want to be there anymore. So
I get all that, but I mean, this division is
just in a weird minutes. You know, if Tomin loses
that game, he's maybe gone. Tomlin, if he gets Black
next week, could still maybe be gone. That Ja was
staying because the owners too, chief and the Browns are

(28:20):
rebooting again. Man, it's something.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
He's on Twitter at Jason Locking for that is at
Jason Lock and fora Jay as always by check out.
Wanna bet as well, Jay, Thanks so much, man, We'll
talk to you next week. Enjoy the games this weekend.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Thank you, guys do the same.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Thanks hey, Jason. Thanks Now that we like to talk
about teams that are train wrecks and entire fires and
outsoud understand. But sometimes when an entire division is a
tire fire, like I mean, you had Mike Tomlin posing
after a gain after a guy missed a forty four
year old rong ain't got Blake, got me hold Denzil

(29:00):
because not that they made it, not that they made
a big player. Rogers threw a touchdown and they got
a big sack on fourth down. No, a guy missed
a field goal, and he's like, because if he makes
that field goal, he probably gets fired for going for
it on fourth and it's in a yard you know,
going fourth and goal and not kicking the field goal
in the first half. Rcton's vision is just but really,

(29:22):
you know, and Jason talked about it really briefly, but
I want to see this is really important. Twelve seconds
left in the game, they have a time out. They
got three time out. It's a forty four yard field goal.
When you settle for a field goal, this is what happens.
This is a forty four yard field goal on a
Sunday night in the mist and the swirling wind in

(29:42):
Pittsburgh where you know the the overall I think the
overall field goal percentage by opponents is in the bottom
third of the league. Yeah, you can't.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
You had a priest walk around with holy water and
bless it. This is the bookie priest Mike North Dan
hit a hit. There you go, that's a classic.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
But you had you.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Settle for a thirty yard field goal. Forty four yard
field goal into with all this going on, is still
a thing as good as kickers are. You're not in
a great kicking situation. You have twelve seconds in a
time out, get further down the field. But when you
settle for a field goal, stuff like this happens. So
I'm settling for a forty four yard fIF Jason talk
first big kick, he had first thing, everything, first everything.

(30:21):
You have time. I trust Lamar Jackson to be able
to not be a quarterback that runs around and takes
twelve seconds off the clock. Right, run a play, try
to get something because you know what, another five yards,
maybe the field goal is good, not another five Maybe
you get another ten yard, maybe the field goal is good.
You have the timeout. What are you doing when you
settle for a field goal from that distance and you biffit?

(30:42):
You deserve to lose. But generally, you and I, watching
as many games as we have together through the years,
what do I complain about in the first quarter? Why
are we settling for field goals? Why are we Yeah?
Three points, that's great. You got a long game ahead
of you. And in this case, Derrick Henry had fifteen
carries one hundred and twelve yards in the first half,
five carries fourteen yards, and the second half I mean,

(31:03):
I get it, he's had some fumbling issues. You're telling
me that road grader, the way he's been running the
last month. You know when you actually used him that
you couldn't have picked up a couple more yards because
you had the time out in your back pocket. We
watched Harball up and down the line telling the official
what he wanted to do, and then you take the
knee exit out about a Fresco exit swollen dome. Jason
Smith Mike Harmon live from the Fox Sports Radio studios.

(31:26):
Time now to find out what's trending in the wide
world of sports. So someone who he thought wasn't gonna
make it through the finale of Stranger Things but survived.
It's premiure.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
I have no idea what to respond to that. I
haven't watched that show in like five years.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
Oh, Darth Vader shows up at the end, Oh really
and fights against.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
What about che Vaka?

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Uh No, Chewbacca's not in the he he actually died
in season three. Whoa spoiler alternate cut man. Don't the
Teddy Bears? That's the best one. Return to the CHEDI
with the Teddy Bears.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
I just like, don't it just took too long in
between seasons for me to like really keep up with it.
So that's why. Anyways, So I'm.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
Sorry, Jason.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
Yeah, so I was talking kind of like I wasn't
talking that bad about Knicks, but yeah, they lost four straight.
After they fall to the Pistons one twenty one to ninety.
Kid Cunningham twenty nine points and thirteen assists in the game.
And I didn't know Detroit was on a back to back.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Who else thought that none of this matters? The Knicks
won the championship already. I don't understand.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
And that's why they're gonna raise the banner. Oh wait,
they said that they weren't that they really wanted to
save that for an actual championship. Right, what's your opinion
on that.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
We already won a championship already, the second one in
no banner.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
Does it count if there's no banner?

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Yes, because I saw it happen.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Okay, that sounds lovely. So, speaking of a back to back,
the Suns were on a back to back. Devin Booker
had hit a last minute shot yesterday they beat the Thunder.
The Suns beats the Thunder today the Rockets. Kevin Durant
hit a last minute three pointer to beat the Suns
one hundred to ninety seven, which is really depressing. The
Celtics beat the Bulls one fifteen to one oh one.

(32:57):
The Raptors outscore the Hawks won eighteen to two one hundred.
Other news out of the NBA, four time All Star
Trey Young and his agent are working together with the
Hawks on a trade. The Washington Wizards look to be
a possible trade destination centered around CJ McCollums expiring contract
in the NFL. Former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is
expected to meet with the Falcons, Giants, and Titans. The

(33:18):
Colts are retaining head coach San Steichen and GM Chris Ballard.
And in the FCS National Championship, it is all tied up.
Twenty eight, twenty eight, fifty seven seconds left to go
back to you guys.

Speaker 1 (33:30):

is Black Monday in the NFL. Four head coaches fired.

(33:52):
We got big stuff going on the next forty five
minutes here, all head coaching stuff. The head coaching firing
today that just made made me sad, made you say
me said, And I'm still sad right now. I can
see it. It's next right here, Jason and Mike. Fox
Sports Radio. Be sure to catch live editions of The

(34:12):
Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern,
seven pm Pacific, Fox Sports Radio. The Jason Smith Show
with my best friend Mike Harmon. We're back Black Monday
in the NFL. Four coaches, well counting Raheem Morris who
was fired last night into NFL Black Monday, and those

(34:34):
other guys that were long and the other guys who
had been already fired. But it's about the day. So
I think if you get fired like within twelve if
you get fired anytime after your final game Sunday, or
maybe even into a little bit of Tuesday where hey,
we just wanted to make sure before we fired you,
like that still becomes a Black Monday thing. Like okay,

(34:55):
you're still You're still NFL Black Monday. Let's so Bryant,
don't call me, Bo Callahan, Brian Dable, don't care me. No, no, no, no, no,
those guys are going now. The one firing. Not that
I disagreed with this, right, the old Seinfeld not that,
not that I disagreed with this, but it just made
me sad. And I didn't realize how sad I was
until I just saw the b Roll video when they

(35:17):
were talking about him getting fired and seeing him on
you know, video of him from the season on the field, excited,
slapping hands with everybody. I just got sad when when
the Raiders fired Pete Carroll because I just knowing just
look at the video. It just hit me with the
emotion of he was so excitable. He's like, you know,
he's like Dick Clark. He's the world's oldest teenager, right,

(35:37):
still actually done, seventy five years old, with more energy
than most people do, still excited to be on a
football field, wanted to get back on after getting fired
from from Seattle. Took the job with the Raiders because
you know, there's only thirty two of them, and just
seeing him, seeing how excited he still was to be
out there and on the field, but just knowing that
this is it because Pete Carroll, that he's walking away

(35:59):
from the NF fell after a failed year with the Raiders,
and it sucks for his legacy, but hey, he wanted
to get back in and coach. I just felt sad
for him because like certain coaches like this who have
been to a couple of Super Bowls and won one,
and there's you know, it's not a big brotherhood of
guys that have won super Bowls, you know, and Andy
Reid is winning every other one. I just felt sad

(36:20):
for him. I just felt sad that this is this
is how it ends for Pete Carroll, who is just
so excitable and so happy to be on a football field.
Not that he didn't make mistakes, not they didn't deserve it.
It's just sad to see that this is the end.
Especially and oh looks at it. He had so much
he had so much life left in it. He was
still wearing those air Monarchs around the field with his
big wide feet like I have, and still excited about.

(36:40):
I just felt sad for the Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
And meanwhile, Seattle rolls on in the post Pete Carroll
era usc still floundering. Can he come and relieve Lincoln
Riley and go back to the glory days of old
before he left like a thief in the night.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
That all that stuff is the is the statute limitations
go on, like if I came back and not gonna
the show. Cost stuff is done with a hardball penalty, right,
Like if I'm coming back to college football too soon, right,
not gonna do that. But all of that to say
this year it's interesting, right because spy Tech and Tom
Brady will be the guys going forward. Well, spy Tech

(37:16):
put this team together, yeah right, I mean Pete stumped
it and got his guy Gino Smith there, and he
could hit the broad side of a barn. It was
a turnover machine behind one of the worst offensive lines
we've seen collectively in a long long time. Miller getting
hurt obviously took the one positive piece out of it.
Genty was good in spots, but not overwhelming. Bowers got

(37:40):
hurt like all that Crosby missed some time, Like all
of these things that, like the few stars that you
had weren't available to you, and the roster was trash
in a division that was pretty good. You even had.
The Chiefs had this giant fallback Mahomes eventually gets hurt,
but they were already sputtering, already staggering back into the
order as if they'd been hit with a couple of

(38:02):
bolo punches. But you couldn't do anything with it. As
you said, all of that with with with Pete Carroll
and the Raiders, the one thing to go back to
is that no matter how bad a season that it was,
matter what it was, if he got the quarterback right,
he would still have a job. It wouldn't be drafting
number one overall taking another quarterback. If he got the

(38:24):
quarterback right, there would be a sense of Okay, Pete
came in, and you needed somebody that you would think
would stop the backsliding, right, and Pete was the right
guy at the right time. Right, He's the right guy
to higher then because you need some sort of stability,
And Pete Carroll stopped the backsliding. Brady comes in. Gino
Smith had been pretty good with with Carol for his
career in Seattle. I liked the high and it was

(38:45):
the right call at the time. Doesn't mean it worked out,
but it was the right call at the time. And
had he gotten the quarterback right or just less wrong,
he would still be the Raiders head coach. But that's
what it boils. It does all this other stuff with
the with the with the with gent and everybody else.
And I get it in Bowers and yeah, all I
get it. But if he got the quarterback just a

(39:06):
little bit more right, he would still be the head coach.
But he didn't, and it's just his time. It's time
for them to move on. It's time for him to
be done coaching in the NFL. And that's why I said,
because this is it from me. It's just his natural
time to say, Okay, it's time for me to go.
Whatever else he wants to do in football, but being
a head coach, it's not gonna happen. Because when we
had seventy four years old, had an opportunity here and

(39:30):
unfortunately biffed it. It's unfortunate that his age has to
become part of the discussion, right in terms of can
you get a out of a shot? It's what we
talked about with Belichick going to North Carolina and everything
else that you wonder if it's that natural cycle. But yeah,
tying yourself to Gino Smith and him being absolutely atrocious,
because I'm just that he kills you. It's not gonna

(39:52):
be a great year, but it will be a settlement
year where we're gonna settle in and we're gonna, you know,
we'll win six or seven games and we'll show you
that were on the way up. Right, It's going to
be a year where, Okay, I know the floor is
going to be high, and it's said the floor is incredible,
but that's just it, right, the floor higher. I saw
some expected values that it said, well, your range could
be as high as nine wins, and there were people

(40:13):
looking at them as a playoff squad right on paper,
with again some of the star power that you had
on both sides of the ball, and Carlson is your kicker. Unfortunately,
it all went to hell with every passing interception, the
one to one touchdown to interception rate. Today's NFL ain't
getting it done. Thank you, Pete Carroll again. You had
a good run. Well, you had a great run. Great run.

(40:34):
It's just I'm sad, Okay, to be sad at the end.
You can be sad at the end of it. You're
very sad at the end. I'm sad. Forget that. It's
like some of the movies I watched and wasted hours
on unless coach wearing the air Monarchs would size sixty
feet like me. I might have a pair for you
coming up next. What fired head coach today will be
a head coach in the NFL next season. We'll tell
you Fox Fox Sports Radio The Jason Smith Show with

(40:58):
my best friend Mike Harmon, live from the Fox Sports
Radio Studios. Congratulations from Montana State. They are your FCS champions.
They beat Illinois State in overtime. Illinois State scores the
point after is blocked. Justin Lampson, former Syracuse University quarterback

(41:19):
of the future. Seven teams later, he's transferred to well
you know, throws a touchdown pass and overtime, Montana State
kicks the extra point and Montana State are your FCS champs.
Run with it as long as you can. Right, you're
gonna give you a seventh year senior get after? Why not?
I'm telling you, And my dad is wearing Justin Lampson's

the reasons. So this this website that you introduced me

(42:05):
to a few months ago called Player's Trunk, Yeah, which
was on shark Tank. Right, it was on shark Tank.
I believe a bunch of equipment managers and players throughout
the country in all different sports. In college when players transfer,
they either leave gear behind or they go into an
agreement with the equipment managers where they sell their team
issued gear and people can buy them. You can buy

(42:27):
them online. It's a great site. You can buy team
issued gear for every college football basketball twos shirts, Hey,
orange Balls, Hey, I got shirts and pants, Holy shirts
and pants. So I said, this is something cool for
my dad. So I looked and I looked for something
someone that was about his size, and Justin Lambson, who

(42:48):
was Syracuse backup quarterback a couple of years ago, they
had some of his stuff and like, okay, he's six two.
My dad is six two, six'. Three i'm, like all,

the fly? Ball, like don't? THEY i don't think they
made the top that tops now for that he's got
a big deal with. Them that signs for. THEM i

fired by The browns. Today not only will his unemployment

(46:45):
not last very, long he'll probably have a job sometime
in the next ten. Days he will be a head
coach somewhere else in THE. Nfl you still have another
day for teams who didn't fire a coach today to, Think, okay,
hey there may be a couple of guys out there
THAT i, like because that's the whole thing is, Like,
okay like we talked About Aaron glenn having a. Job,
well if you're gonna Fire Aaron, glenn who's your guy coming?

Speaker 4 (47:08):
In?

Speaker 1 (47:08):
Right are there those people coming in you want to
replace your head coach? With And Kevin, stefanski the guy's
a two Time coach of The year and he's someone that, clearly,
look The browns are an absolute train. Wreck and you
see the way when when you have non football people
Like Jimmy haslm making big football decisions like, hey here's
two hundred thirty million Dollars Deshaun, watson and we're still

(47:29):
gonna keep you around like you know, That, OKAY i
can only live here for so long BEFORE i have

There?

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Yeah, Absolutely Deshaun watson head out of me Something? Shador,
hey coach got? Fired what do you? Think but, Look
i'm just finding out about. It stefanski's got to own
some of the, blame but he will escape a lot
of it just because of the level of dysfunction that
we all know The browns have. Had like you see
that obviously the front office and the ownership and the
coach runt are on different pages drafting the quarterbacks the

(48:25):
way they, Did right you Think Kevin stefanski was on? Board,
yeah let's Get Dylan. Gabriel, oh and then let's go
Get Shador. Sanders, no of course. Not so when there's
that level of, disconnect it doesn't matter what kind of
coach you. Are you can tell the whole. Season stefanski's, like,
Guys i'm just putting in my, time Right he's he's
art how In moneyball when when he says To, Billy
i'm putting my lineup out there SO i can justify

(48:46):
myself When i'm looking for a new. Job this winner, Right,
Like i'm playing the line that's gonna get me hired next,
Year Like, Stefancy, Look i'm playing my guys right. Now
BUT i WANT i Know i'm going to be a
coach somewhere else because, look the guy is a really
good head. Coach you're not always going to. Win but
when you were a two time head coach of The
year in the last five years and you made to
the playoffs one year with starting seven different quarterbacks Including Brian, sipe,

(49:07):
YEAH i have a pretty good idea Of stefanski's. Pedigree,
now is he the perfect head? Coach, no but he
immediately becomes the number one sought after guy like there's been.
NOBODY i mean just think About usually at this time
of the, year we hear About Ben, Johnson Aaron. Glenn,
right these are two of the big, Names Ben, Johnson Aaron,
Glenn Mike. Rabel at this time last, year these were the, guys,

(49:28):
right these are the. Guys they're gonna be big. Interviews
we're gonna hear their, Names they're gonna get. Jobs there's
nobody we're hearing. Now we're kind of trying to pick out. Names,
well maybe maybe the chiefs coordinators will get, jobs maybe they.
Won't there's no names out. There stefanski jumps to the
top of that list because he's got the. Pedigree and
again he will escape the blame because you can easily
say he could walk into his interview and just, say,

(49:50):
Well browns got, it got, It you're, Right, Kevin you're, Right.
Kevin he will get a gig someplace, else very very.
Quickly maybe it's The, raiders, right maybe it's. Not maybe
another team, decides, Hey stefanski's, THERE i like. Him, Sorry Aaron,
glenn we're going with. Him or maybe it's a different,
teas but he will get a. Job he will be
a head coach in THE. Nfl maybe it's The falcons,

(50:10):
right being able to do what he can do at.
Quarterbacks you, know The falcons have a big quarterback mess
on their hands With pennix And. Cousins maybe it's The.
Falcons but he will have a gig sometime the next
ten days to two. Weeks he will be a head
coach in THE nfl. Again he will jump From i'm
fired with The, browns but people understand my value and
they'll have a new gig sometime the next two. Weeks.

Speaker 3 (50:29):
YEAH i mean we talk about it all the, time
and we did With Aaron. Glenn, right you choose the
wrong Quarterback Pete carroll In Las. Vegas bad things. Happen
in this, case he got saddled with a mess from day.
One you still have two playoff, appearances you still have
the Two coach of The year awards you Had Joe
flacko was the most competent guy you've had in this, process,

(50:50):
Right Shdor, SANDERS i saw this. Stat gotta go back
and verify all the particulars of how they're measuring it
year to, year and you know when these stats originated
in all but they're saying HIS qbr is only the
only guy worse Was Jimmy clawson in the last fifteen
to twenty, years which is saying, something, Right, so.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
If you don't have a, quarterback you've got.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
Nothing you go To, atlanta you don't have a first round,
pick but you do Have Kirk, cousins who we argued
about it a long time, ago Right he and the
agelest wonder up there In, Pittsburgh Aaron. Rodgers they're gonna
be starting quarterbacks based on the way the league is
set up right. Now, hell bring Old Philip rivers back
with a little bit of juice in his. Arm but
all of that to, say For Kevin, stefanski it just

(51:33):
becomes a where do you want to go and what
team is smart enough to just, say we're not going
to go through the cavalcade of guys out Here naggi
and these other fifteen right the laundry list of, candidates
because there's no obvious guy coming up from the college.
Ranks Brian flores would get another job if it wasn't
for that pesky. Lawsuit and there's a lot of rumors
about what may happen if he goes To Las vegas

(51:56):
as part of some package him And dable and then
discussed a bit that THAT roomo was out. There mike
McCarthy's a wild card in all of, this, right like
he's he's probably your biggest name other Than.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
Stefanski, yeah. Right the rest of them are all coordinators
with giant question marks of whether it. Transcends, Here you've
got two guys with, true proven track, Records so it
becomes a do you want to go work with Cam?
Ward do you want to go work With Jackson? Dart
Jackson dart doing everything he? Can, oh that guy's. GOOD
i like that, guy, right that he, could he, could
he could be a, giant, right you know WHAT i?

(52:29):
Mean he should have his pick of wherever he wants to.
Go he should have because there's nobody else out there
THAT i could say, no, no, no this guy Over,
stefanski this, guy because maybe it. Works but maybe you
get the Next mike, McDonald, right maybe you. Do maybe
you get the Next Liam, Cohen maybe you get the
Next Aaron, glenn, right maybe maybe you get the Next Mike.

(52:50):
Tomlin maybe maybe instead you get the next At Adam.

Speaker 2 (52:53):
Gase.

Speaker 1 (52:53):
Right so if there were if there were those sure
fire guys out there that, hey this is you, see
this is you see what they're. Doing they deserve a. Chance, okay,
right go get but there isn't there's. Nobody and, look
every year is. Different sometimes they are the great coordinators
that are. Going some years there's, not and you get
A ceo type head coach to come in and do different.

(53:13):
Things But, STEFANSK i guarantee you right, now he's, like all,
RIGHT i got out of there AND i GOT i
timed it, right AND i got out with my reputation,
intact and good luck whoever follows me In cleveland with
that level of. DYSFUNCTION i, mean who the hell Is.
Cleveland cleveland's gonna get a last chance, guy He's cleveland's
gonna Get, hey there's thirty two. JOBS i just happened
to want one of. Them that's who's gonna get that

(53:34):
job In. Cleveland. Right but the, whole the whole thing
is now he's he played the game right and he
got out at the right and getting. Fired, okay, Great
i'm sure this meeting was all of, two SAIDs, Kevin
we're not bringing.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
You i'm.

Speaker 1 (53:44):
LEAVING doddi dom. Good i'm, GOD i already said. THAT
i packed up my. Stuff i'm, Good I'm i'll SEE
i got my cars, running it's all warmed. Up i'll
see you all, good don't worry about. It just, yeah
let me know if and my benefits are good till
the end of the. Month all, right, right all, good all,
good all, Good like he played it, right and and
having this year not full of, controversy not showing other teams, that,

(54:05):
Hey Kevin, stefanski if he disagrees with the front, office
he's gonna be a. Problem Was Kevin stefanski a? Problem
and all this? Year no you all play shot or
say well play shod Or sanders will Play Dylan gabriel
Played Dylan. Gabriel he knew this was. It he knew
this was gonna be. It either he walks away five
at the end of the. Year and so now all
these other, teams there's no red, flags there's no boy
IF i brings to fan skin he disagrees with WHAT

(54:26):
i have to, say look at what he's gonna. Do.
Right that's a really smart thing where he was able to,
Say i'm keeping my mouth shut this entire year BECAUSE
i want to coach someplace else next year AND i
can be that number one guy and have my. PICK
i just he's crossing off the days on the. Calendar
just another few days till the end of the. Year
just don't say. Anything just don't say. ANYTHING i, mean
he's gonna he's the number one. Guy he'll have a

(54:46):
job within ten. DAYS i, mean you had a bunch
of little blips that folks tried to create with the
Whole Shador sanders. Thing when the guy's your second or
third string quarterback of all the reps he didn't get
and you had every backup that's ever taken us in
THE nfl, going welcome to our. Job this is the
way this, Works Kevin. Sevanski the one THING i haven't seen, yet,

(55:07):
though is we got the video of him leaving the
complex and going to his. Car i'm waiting for someone
to superimpose him clicking his. Heels no getting skip out
to a nightclub or some Crad there's no place like,
Home yeah like, Homes no place like. Home. Tom now
to find out what's trending in the wide world of
sports From. Premuro she's got everything we don't need to
know about The pistons and The. Knicks because the game

(55:30):
was On, peacock nobody saw, It so you just just
skipped to the other.

Speaker 4 (55:32):
Games, Okay so don't even talk about The warriors And
clippers game because that's On peacock.

Speaker 1 (55:36):

Kawhi leonards sixteen, points eight boards so far As Steph
curry sixteen. Points The, nuggets without a single, starter defeated

lost four straight after they followed The pistons a one

(56:21):
twenty one to Ninety Kid cunningham twenty nine points and thirteen,
assists in the. Game in THE, nfl The bengals are
retaining head Coach Zach taylor AND Gm Duke. Tobin Zach
taylor did confirm that he was going to bring back
his entire coaching, staff which is a little bit questionable
just judging by That bengals. Defense dolphins head Coach mike
McDaniel stated he was operating as if he was going

(56:43):
to remain the head coach next season and even said
that he was assisting in the search for a NEW.
Gm in THE Fcs championship, game The Montana, State oh my,
