Listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Hello and welcome inside Jason Smith's Show with Mike Harmon.
Monseyblanos in from Mike Harmon tonight, Whew, it is a
no Hobo night again. Noo, just well dreffed Hobo. For
over forty years, tire Rack's been helping customers find the
right tires for how, what and where they drive. Shipped
fast and free, backed by free Road, has a protection

(00:54):
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation. Tirerack dot
Com is the way tire buying should be. Well, I
guess tonight we could say is the official beginning of
NBA Summer League, because we had the Summer League and
all the other cities and that's over now. So if
you wanted to go Summer League and Utah it's over.
You missed it, right, it's all but now Vegas starts tonight.

(01:15):
We got Cooper Flag and Bronnie James. The rivalry we
didn't know we wanted, but we are getting right now in.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Happening everywhere across the world, now across the US. But
people are just fighting each other, creating rivalries.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Just one of them flagging Bronnie right now, right now.
I want a T shirt like the old like the
old time up boxing T shirts have the Matt like Holyfield,
Tyson like yeah, like Brownny and Flag like that's.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
What I profiles. Yeah, looking at each other.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, tailing the tape yeah, six seven
six six it yeah, one hundred percent. Let's do it.
Let's do it. You who are wearing your you You've
been promising this T shirt for a while. Your T
shirt is real. It is spectacular. It is your overrate
that Halliburton should I remember you ordered that. I shouldn't
say this, but well while you were doing the show.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Correct, these are true things.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Right before the finals ended. You ordered that shirt during
the show.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah, I got excited.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
You online shopped in the middle of the show. Is
get that T shirt and it just came in.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah, because I'm a true fan.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
I'm a true fan of the NBA playoffs, and I
got too excited and I ordered it. Yes, while you
were doing the show with mister Hobo himself, mister.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Harmon, And it's finally here.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
I remember you guys are like, you're gonna get a
crappy shirt for forty dollars. It's actually I'm gonna make
you touches. It's so soft. It is so soft. Good
job Puma, Good job, Tyree Salaburn. It is way better
quality of a shirt than I was expecting.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Right now, people are going, wow, and you ordered from Puma. Yeah,
I got and I don't know what to get.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
I'm very very worth it, super worth it.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Usually I order from Puma and I go, oh, that's
the shirt with extra pilling on it. Oh that's great.
I love that shirt. Yeah, Puma, that's great.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Worth the seven ninety one, wonderful for shipping. Because I
didn't reach the fifty bucks. Remember that. I don't want
to buy anything else. I want to get the shirt.
Now you got you're all good, nough, I got it good,
no regrets.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Now you got it letter. Now you got to get
a flag t shirt. That's just a flag with a
picture of Cooper Flag's face on the flag. You gotta
get a flag with two g's.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
A picture of Cooper Flag with the flag in the background.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yeah, that's well, that's the way I mean, that's it.
Yeah right now. Yes, the first of many Brownie Flag
showdowns goes to the Mavericks. Eighty seven eighty five is
the score, and there's an official review going on. In
the final play of the game, Cooper Flag his big

(03:36):
and long anticipated NBA debut. The numbers look okay for
Cooper Flag. The field goal percentage not so much. But
it's not that big a deal because I got a
great hot take on this.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
But I was gonna say, what do you mean that looks.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Not Cooper Flag tonight? Thirty one minutes, ten points, six
rebounds for assists, shot just five for twenty one from
the field, which is not great, Bob, not great. But
he did have some highlights like this and.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Here's Flag on the bretty patching at home. Welcome to
the league, Cooper Flag corn bread. So Flag says, I'm
not gonna walk him down. I'll knock down this smitty uh.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
ESPN on the call that was a big, back, down,
back down, stop, turn around, jumper over Brownie. Okay, now
getting your first look at Cooper Flag tonight. The biggest
question I had about him was he does everything really well, right.
Is he going to be able to is he gonna
be quick enough? Is he going to be fast enough

(04:37):
in the NBA? Is that going to or or what
he does going to be blunted by that? But clearly
tonight he has shown that he almost had that incredible
dunk in the first half that that luckily the Lakers
boding him up. It would have been the first of
many career highlights for Cooper Flag. He has shown that
he is fast enough, He's shown that he is big enough,
he is aggressive enough. I don't mind the twenty one misshots.

(05:00):
I like the fact the guy took twenty one shots.
I'm not gonna try to slide in. I'm not gonna
try to just assimilate myself and there's other guys here
that have been playing and I'm just gonna kind of
do my own thing. No, I'm gonna come in and
I'm gonna try to dominate from the jump. I don't
care that he was five for twenty one. I love
he took those twenty one shots, and while it's only
one game for Cooper Flagg and I thought, look, the

(05:21):
guy's gonna be one of the great players in the NBA.
Clearly seeing the speed, how he was able to anticipate
and get up and down the floor, like, this is
a guy that's gonna get any shot he wants. He's
gonna be able to physically make the passes that he
needs to make because he's got that skill set that
he can play up high with. Like watching him today
was more of a of a verification of oh, yeah,

(05:43):
he's gonna translate in a large way, and even so
much the point where if you thought, Okay, i'll be
a complimentary player, maybe he'll be a great one a player. No,
seeing what he's gonna be able to do getting his
own shot Lebroni's a really good defender. He was able
to back him down and get that shot. So now
you're gonna put something bigger on him. He'll be able
to dribble around. Like what I saw from Cooper flag
tonight that there are no there are no limitations to

(06:06):
what I think he can do in the NBA. Clearly
he's aggressive off the bat, he gets it right away,
like you are feeling awesome. You are a Maverick's fan
right now. You are finally over Luca getting traded, going okay,
well now Cooper's our guy. I'm over that it happened.
This is the new beginning. It's like when you break
up with somebody and you know, I gotta get back
out there, and dad, I gotta get back out No,

(06:26):
I'm not ready. I'm not ready. Then you go back
out on that first date and you realize, oh okay,
kind of like five hundred days of summer, dude, just
ditch Zoey des Chanel. She doesn't love you, man, she
wants the dude who hangs out in the park and
pretends to read the picture of Dorian Gray. I'm just
here to look mysterious and a reverend. Now, Minka Kelly,
she's really hot, she likes you, and her name is Autumn.

(06:50):
Do you see. Oh wait a minute, now I've spent
all this time binding for her. When you realize at
the end, oh okay, hey, whoa wait a minute, maybe
show uh yeah, oh hey, there's there's other fish in
the sea out there. If you are the Mavericks, you
are happy. You are Mika Kelly happy right now.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Oh they're absolutely happy, but they still hate Nico Harrison.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Don't forget that like it.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Just because they're happy with what Cooper Flagg is bringing
to the table, that doesn't mean they've moved on or forgotten.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
People never forget. I will sell.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
They know in four years he's gonna trade Cooper Flag away,
So that's gonna be a tough thing.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Stop stop.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
I mean, I was surprised at how many minutes he played.
He played a lot over thirty minutes. The shooting wasn't great,
but I agree with you that he looked good physically,
he looked good.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
He had a great block.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Also, he was up and down the floor in transition
if you had any questions. Despite the number of shots
he made, he was aggressive and he did look good.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
The maps have to be happy. Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
There's some other performances that I was a little bit like, oh,
look at this guy, like Ryan Emhart I he had
a great game too. He's been in the G League
a two way player. But Cooper Flag I think is
ready for the NBA. Yeah yeah, like after just this
and again bad shooting night, still ready for the NBA.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Like seeing him in watching and again it's summer league, right.
So it did summer league right, and you got Ryan
Nemhart out there, who you know, potentially could be a,
you know, really big player for them for a long time.
But seeing Cooper flag play it also puts to bed
any question of like he's gonna come out there and
be Scotti Pittman. Look at Scottie Pippen catching astray right now, Hey,
how's that bourbon? Scotty. Just keep pushing that bourbon, that's all.

(08:24):
Just keep pushing it. People will buy it. But like
you watch Cooper Flag play, and I said to myself,
there's no way this guy's not the number one option
from day one, especially with Kyrie being out. He's not
gonna play for a long time. Kyrie's gonna be out
till probably the second half of the year. Ad is
in and out of the lineup, and he's a big anyway,
where used to a d playing with Lebron and being
the second option. There's no way he's not the number

(08:47):
one option for the Mavericks from opening night in the NBA.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
It's crazy that he's held nineteen if that because he
doesn't play like he's nineteen.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
His face looks young. Whenever you get a close up
of his face, you're like, oh my gosh, you are
very young. But the way he plays doesn't look like that.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
It does look like he could go out there and
kind of already take over a game. Now it's an
only summer league. Maybe I'm getting too excited, but it
looks like the Maps are going to be in good
hands without Kyrie Irving for probably majority of the season.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Yeah. No, I was high on them coming off the trade,
but then Kyrie got hurt, right, and Ad couldn't stay
in the lineup. Okay, but now you've replaced it with
another ball dominant guy because Cooper Flag needs the ball
in his hands, right, someone that can make again, make
all the plays. Rebounds the fact he's so tall and
such a skilled passer. Yeah, I mean, he's gonna he's

(09:40):
gonna be. Pull's gonna be a problem. You know, he's
gonna be you know, you know that My favorite Shack
play it was never a dunk. It was always that
when he would hold the ball up and then he
would look and he would throw it behind his head
because he was so much tall that he would just go,
okay there and just flip it to somebody like. Those
are kind of passes that Cooper flag can make, you know,
the big baseball pass across the across the key when
he needs to, like he like, his skill set is amazing,

(10:03):
and it was just okay, is he gonna get bodied?
Is he gonna be physical enough? You know, look, Wemby
showed up and as big as Wemby is, Okay, he
can get physical a little bit here, you can physical
him on the outside. But now eventually, you know, Wemby's
gonna say, okay, yeah, now I got it. But like
Cooper Flagg from the beginning, is gonna be that guy
like from like, if you have any questions about any like,
they're all answered, Like you watch him play and you go, yeah,

(10:25):
that's the best guy on the floor. That that's their superstar.
That's the guy he just identifies as that right away,
which is scary.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
That again, Summer League, first real game in the NBA,
and already I saw, like you mentioned Shaq in those passes,
a little bit of Nikola Jokic and even in the
way he kind of positions himself when he's in the post,
a little bit of Nikola Yokic, which wouldn't surprise me
if he's trying to mimic that, but he already looks

(10:52):
like that. It took how long for Niccola Jokic to
look the way he does?

Speaker 3 (10:56):
This is scary, This is this is scary for everybody
in the NBA. And what the Mavericks have.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
I also forget Jason I ke you forgetting that the
Mavericks also have Klay Thompson. Like their wingspan alone, you're
not gonna be able to pass.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
The ball around them?

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah? Did two of them will be able to cover
from one sideline holding hands like Brett Rover?

Speaker 5 (11:16):
Yes, Rover?

Speaker 1 (11:17):
We called Jayalen Brunson over, Okay, Yeah, yeah, that's how
it's gonna work.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Yes, we're gonna be a real problem.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
And nobody is really considering them to be a real problem,
right because we're putting together this image of what they're
gonna look like when we have a much better idea
of what maybe the Rockets are gonna look like with
Kat obviously what Okac has done. But this is this,
He's he's coming, He's coming.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I mean, look aggressive and all the time. I don't
know what else to say, Like I was expecting a
Wemby like debut because when Wenby first came in all
the attempt, that's the last time we talked about someone
that big a deal.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Right he spears in Vegas?

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. My name is Brittany. Why do you
have a British I think this place from me the saw.
You know I'm Brittany. You don't do this to me.
You know this doesn't happen to me. You're a very
tall gentleman. He's about seven foot four. That's big. Are
you British?

Speaker 4 (12:08):
No?

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Not all.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
I'm just doing it. This is called how I do things.
I have a residency here. You know it's right. Yeah,
you know me have toxic talk. Sick of talk? Sic,
you have toxic right, right. Womans a woman, noise a
woman are great dance dance revolution song Oh no not
not Yeah, where the when you do the contest and
you have to you have to mimic all the uh,

(12:30):
all the things. It's Womanizer is great. I still remember
some of the songs woman and womanis.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
If only the listeners can see you making these moves.
I don't know you have these moves.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
In you on YouTube. You can see it moves you.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Yeah, I'm like I'm the Cooper Flag of dancings. I
got move now. I do want to say this as well,
because yes, that's that's Cooper flag right away, number one
option for the Mavericks. He looks like the best guy
on the floor. You see it right away. Not a
bad night for Brownie either, Now Brownie cooks Cooper Flag
on that big jumper. You would think Broni had one
hundred points, but he had eight tonight. Not a great

(13:05):
first game for him the other night. But Bronni to
this point, he's gonna get more minutes. He's going to
get a chance to prove that he can be part
of this Laker rotation. And that's the biggest thing for
him is that to just stack good days together. And
he had a good day today, right. He's never gonna
be someone who scores. He's not gonna score twenty five points,
not gonna dish out fifteen assists, He's not gonna pull

(13:27):
down seventeen rebounds. He's going to be someone that, if
he reaches his potential, he will be a glue rotation player.
When the second unit comes in, he's guy number eight.
You know, he's an eighth guy on the teams he
can come in and he can hit a couple of shots,
play some pretty good defense, grab a couple of rebounds,
dish out a couple of assists, and okay, and you
feel confident having him on the floor. And every team

(13:49):
needs guys like that. And I'm glad that he's got
that responsibility now because he really does. And you think
about opportunity, right Cooper Flag's opportunity, Bronni has a chance
to carve out one of those kind of roles because
clearly the Lake, no, we're missing something, and there's opportunities
if Lebron stays on the team, there's opportunities for him
to carve out that kind of role in his second year.
Like there's a lot at stake for Bronnie James right now.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Let's just even say if Lebron doesn't stay with the Lakers,
he still has the opportunity to establish himself as a
role player here with the Lakers, Unlike Cooper Flag, where
it's like you want to see Cooper Flag take those
twenty one shots because you expect him to do that.
When Game one of the regular seasons starts with the Mavericks,
Bronnie James only took eight shots, because.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
That's what he's trying to do. He's trying to prove
that he understands what.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
His role can be in the NBA and that he's
okay with it.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
He had five quick points. He ended with eight.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
I don't think he scored any in the second half.
But that's like you said, he's not out there trying
to say, look what I can do. Let me be
option number one, number two, number three. He's like, look
what I can do. I can be a really good
role player that can help you in depth, depth wise.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
He might help.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Me, help you exactly help. But you're right. He had
a nice start to the game and he was effective.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
He was on Cooper flag, he played, he was switch,
he looked good, and he's trying to prove with or
without daddy.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Yeah yeah, maybe with or without daddy. Yeah. Maybe. He
hits a couple of shots, he goes down and goes
trade my dad, my dad.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Yeah, somebody else.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Trade my dad. He points to Lebron and points from
the leave. You know you out, get out, get out dad.
So a biggest summer league debut again. The Mavericks beat
the Lakers eighty seven eighty five U ten points, six rebounds,
four says from Cooper Flag. Meanwhile, Bronny a nice night
as well, second night in the starting lineup, eight points,

(15:39):
A couple of says, couple of rebounds, hit a big
three to start the game off, hit a big shot
over Cooper Fleag. Yeah, as long as Bronny that as
long as you understand what the ceiling is gonna be
for Bronni and where we're okay, get that. He could
get there, right, he can absolutely get there. Exit out
about a Fresco exit, Monsei Belanios, Jason Smith, Monsey in

to a look a story I've been waiting to talk
about all day, I mean really since I woke up.
This morning, I went, oh, well, at least we get
to do this all night. But a Tom Brady story
that I didn't really think we were gonna get. Okay,
it was just a couple of days ago, Terry Bradshaw
was in the news and hey, you know, hey, Tom
Brady's getting paid thirty seven million dollars a year. If

(17:56):
I go in to ask Fox, they're gonna say they
have no more money. Oh okay, they are right. And
then coming off the Bezos wedding, you know Brady potentially
hanging out a lot with Sidney Sweeney. We had this
conversation last month. Brady doesn't need any game other than saying, Hi, he.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Needs a game.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
How does he need a game?

Speaker 3 (18:11):
He needs all of the people at this wedding are
top notch people.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Yeah, but this is Tom Brady.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
I understand.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
But there's another person probably next to him that is
a Tom Brady of whatever they do.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah, but Tom Brady's in it.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Like Sidney Sweeney.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Okay, okay, Sidney Sweeney is popular. Sidney Sweeney is really
to game. Yeah, okay, to we had we had the
rankings last night and uh and Tom Brady. But Tom
Brady accomplished a lot it is in his career, Like
I mean he's Tom Brady.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
Yeah, and I'm gonna just spit some game off.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
He's worth way more money than Sidney Sweeney.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
It's great game, but that's all his.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Well, she doesn't need any more game other than high
as well, Like that's what this This wedding is kind
of like the hot we need after this news we're
going to tell you about. We need a deep dive,
we need a thirty for thirty on this Bezos Lauren Sanchez, Well,
I would like that this was a Listers and his
all kinds of stories of Okay, so maybe Tom Brady
is dating Sydney Sweeney. Supposedly they dance together, but then
the next day Sidney Sweeney's hanging out with Orlando Bloom.

(19:08):
And now, but wait a minute, but I also read
that Bezos and Lauren Sandraz are playing matchmaker with to
get to get him back together with Katy Perry, who
didn't come to the wedding, maybe because Orlando Bloom was there.
Like I couldn't stand this wedding and now I feel like, no,
I want like a documentary on that because I want
to see all the stuff that happened absolutely. I mean really,
this is where we need. This is you know, this

(19:29):
is this is I think back. I think back to
a couple of parties after at the end of high school. Okay,
not during high school, but the end of high school
when everybody had when everybody had yet wrong wrong music
ty shirt. How about that huh yeah, there you go,
here we go here my Captain, My Captain America song.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
So think about a couple of parties near the end
of the summer, after all of us have graduated high school,
right and everybody was going away for or you know,
to college. It's gonna be the last the last time, right,
we're gonna see each other again. And the hookups and
stuff that we found out at that that that party,
like whoa, this is amazing, Oh my god, like that.

(20:13):
But it took the end of going to high school
and it's like, well, screw it, I'm never gonna see
these people again. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. But specifically there's
you know, the hookup stuff was real. It was a
really big deal. If my daughter Zoe is listening, this
does not happen in high school party. It's just so
you know, this is not watch movies and uh play games, right,
that's that's a high school party. That's who you go to.

(20:34):
High school parties, par cheesy monopoly, that's high school parties.
That's what they all are. This is I'm just making
this up. But the hookups was like, oh my god,
so and so, so and so, Oh I had a
feeling they always liked that person. And then oh, you
don't know they actually told this story and now they're feuding.
They're never gonna talk again, like that happened sophomore year,
and so and so didn't know about it. Like that's
what I that's what this, that's what the Bezos Sanchez

(20:56):
wedding is. And now we get the story that potentially, okay,
like the music's out now, music's out now, present day,
present day music now, present day. Now we get to
that Tom Brady is dating Sophia Vergara, that they are
having a summer fling together and there were four Okay, okay, okay,
it's a fat one. Okay, we we did talk about hookups. No,

(21:19):
you're right. But now supposedly there's this video of them
together on a yacht that or a picture of them
together on a yacht that. Oh, but where are these
pictures like, I think that's probably caught up in some
sort of hey, uh, mister bezos, who's gonna come down
on you with a big team of lawyers if you
put that out there. But all the sudden and it
hasn't been denied. It's been a couple of different sources.
I'm like, wow, Brady's dating Sophia Vergara, Okay. And when

(21:43):
I said to my wife, he said, okay, you gotta
take it. What do you think about this? I'm curious
what you Then she goes, uh, well, I'm glad they're
the same age, So okay, I like that. Okay that,
but I like that okay, cause I said, I was
waiting for you to say, because I said, you're not
gonna who you think Tom Brady is thea from the
Bezels wedding? And she'd be like, is it Sydney Sweeney
as something? You know, because there twenty year age difference

(22:05):
from all this stuff, right, And then suddenly it's Bill
Belichick and Jordan Hudson. You're like, oh my goodness, And
I said no, it's Sophia of her Guard and she
was like, okay, at least stay at the same edge.
You're like, yeah, she's actually older than him, though, I
think I think she don't think Brady's fifty and I
guess she's in her early fifties, right.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
Yes, she's definitely in her fifties, and that is shocking.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Are you looking it up right now? You're looking it
up right.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
I'm telling you right now, she's fifty three. She is
fifty three. Uh turned fifty three today? Oh weird, Happy birthday, birthday.
Did Tom Brady jump out of the cake for you?

Speaker 3 (22:38):
Maybe?

Speaker 4 (22:39):
Maybe, but there's gonna be no video of that, that's
for sure.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Do you think the cake was deflated and Brady getting
into it and then it was it was sorry we
had it was a smaller cake. I'm sorry about that.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Brady's forty seven, gonna be forty eight in a month, Yeah,
in a month.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
Yeah, So I was I that was I'm just I'm
with your wife. It's a little bit surprised that Brady
and so would be interested in each other. Not that
I think Brady would be dating a younger woman. I
also think Sophia could date a younger man, like they
both could be dating.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Each of them can date anybody they want to exactly.
That's because that's the only game. Each of them needs.
Sophia Card just needs to say hi, ah, Hi. Tom
Brady just needs to say hi. Although I will say
that Tom Brady does look too thin.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
He's a little skidd sick.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
He's a little thin. I got I get the whole. Hey,
after my playing days are over, I want to make
sure I don't gain weight. I want to make sure
I stay healthy. But he looks real. He looks really thin, Like, okay,
you're a little too thin.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
And I also want to nobody looks like in person,
up close and personal, because he has had a little bit.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Of work done, a little bit okay, whether it's maybe.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
It's just bout time to see what it looks like
in person, because I think pictures can be deceiving. But
he obviously, like probably is very handsome. She looks fabulous,
But I do think I want.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
To say he ever looked not fabulous.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
This is a fair question.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
That's never happened.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Never happened.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
I'll go back to soul plane.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
She looked on never I think she came out of
the womb like that. Yeah, came out of them that way.
You know, some people are just very lucky. But I
feel like both of them have to eventually have some game.
If this like after the initial high and we hang
out on a yacht, yeah right, one of you has
to spit game.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
It can't just say it can't just all be.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
High when you say okay, when you say game, like
what like like Brady's got to be able to or
Sophia Vergar have to be able to have conversations on
levels of what you're streaming. You talk about that.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Really, I need I need Brad. What's Brady's thing? Is
he funny? Does is he a little romantic?

Speaker 4 (24:35):
What is his thing? What is he's got to do
something besides just looking good?

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Okay? I would say this if they're thinking about game
for both of them.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Yea.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
So maybe she cooks or something like she's got like
a secret thing that she.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Does for you.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Okay, Brady, I think this. I think Brady probably has
a dry type personality but says a lot of funny things,
just one liners. People, Oh I'm oh that's so funny.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Oh that's so fun girls love funny. I don't know
it's perfect.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
I don't know that he talks a lot, but he
but he definitely has that that that acerbic way, and
that I could give you a fun one liner here.
You know, I could see that as being the inn for.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Brady, and that's being dressed in.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Being dressed in in you know, running pants and and
a jacket that's probably worth you know, fifteen thousand dollars.
I think that would probably help a little bit too.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
She's not looking at that, she's wearing her own fifteen
thousand dollars dress.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
She's wearing it's more than that. Guys will top out
about fig Yeah, I got a feeling it's more competitive.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Well big, she doesn't probably doesn't have a lot of materials,
probably like a little dress, a little skimpy dress.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Okay, you know, Okay, No, And I think and I
think Sophia Vigar is someone that you meet her and
it's her personality that's probably got a big, vibrant, larger
than life personality. People are gonna but the thing is
people are going to meet her and they're going to
expect modern family, right Like that was always a big
line that Rita Hayworth would always say, like one of
the those attractive, biggest movie stars of all time. My goodness,

(25:58):
she would always say, Hey, men would want to meet
Gilda and they would and they would see me and
that was always a tough thing. Like I think that's
the one thing I think for Sophia regard is that
they would have to go into that relationship and people
think I'm expecting Gloria from modern family and and if
it's a little bit different, it's a little bit disconcerting.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
I feel like Sophia Ergata is Gloria, Like I think
they made that role based on her, you get what
I'm I.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Don't think she's much different than that, Okay, And you know, her.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
Accent is there in present. You know she's not losing
that any day soon. She's practicing her accent at this
point to make sure she stays that way.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
But I feel like that role was was very much
Sophia Ergata.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
Okay, I can say Latina, she's I think she can
be a hot headed Latina, as you.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Know portrays that.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
But I think that's a big, a big attraction towards
each other. The kind of opposite like you said, like
Tom Brady is not big and voice stous and all
of that. He's got maybe those little like very save
one and then she's over here like the life of
the party.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
That's perfect opposite a tract.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
He's not going to walk up and go, hey, what
does dad joke? I heard today? This is awesome all right, and.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
It can be part of his game.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Okay, Yes, I could see that. I could see Yeah. No.
Now here's a big question if they do wind up
getting together. Oh my gosh, will we get a TMZ
video of Ed O'Neill fighting Tom Brady? Will we get that?
Because I want to see that, whether it's real or not,
I want to see. I you'll get it, Yeah, I
want I want to see. I want to see it. Hey,
that's my wife, and I want to see Ed O'Neill

(27:33):
and and.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Tom Brady go out and then Ed O'Neill wins.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Oh yeah, Ed O'Neil, what happens to it? Well, because
he's also he's Albundi and he would you know, but
you know what the move that he put on Bubba
Smith and married with children, like he would do something
to knock over Tom Brady and he would win, Yes,
and he would win.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Yeah no, And I would give it to.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Us, Yes, yeah, absolutely. And I'm gonna say I'm gonna
give this bowl prediction before you get to what's trent,
I'll say this now completely off the board with this,
I don't think we are more than a year away,
a year away, a year away from the Modern Family
reboot getting announced. You have said that we are no
more than because it's been a while, it has been
almost a decade. Everybody's had their chance to go out

(28:11):
and do different things, right, and go be movie stars
and do other things, and okay, but now it's like,
but they're never going to just let that show go
away because it's still such a big deal. It's such
a big deal in syndication. Look, we're getting a reboot
from the Office, you know, coming up this fall. It's
going to take place at a newspaper in the Midwest.
But but this is still where everybody's young enough, everybody

(28:32):
can still do it. And so I can't believe we're
any more than a year away from everybody getting together
and saying, yes, we're going to do a Modern Family
and we're going to pick up same characters.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Not like a spin off, same characters.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Ten years late, Modern Family, and everybody will come back.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Ten years later. Where are they now?

Speaker 1 (28:48):
There's nobody who's going to not come back, like everybody
will do it because there's nobody that I could say, hey,
it's now they've moved past the right like because like
look at something like now like The Bear. Okay, because
we talk which is which is watch the first two
seasons and stops he's last. I'm watching this end of
the season because I've just always watched it.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Yeah, you're committed.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
I feel I just want to finish and no, you're
never going to watch it again because I'm done. But
like now, like, okay, it's say they went away from
The Bear for a couple of years, well like okay,
Jeremy Allen White and even Whiles Backrack and Iowa to Berry.
They're all becoming big stars now, so they're not going
to come back to this anytime soon. But Modern Family ended, okay,
if he's had a chance. Ty Burrella is doing commercials,
Julie Bowen is doing commercials, and Ed O'Neill is just

(29:30):
waiting for the phone to ring. And now so Fia
Vergara is staying relevant and staying current, especially dating Tom Brady.
If that happens, one hundred percent, yeah, they'll get everybody back.
Everybody will return. We are no more than a year
away from that.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
Okay, So return of Modern Family the return of.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
Tom Brady and Brady comes back to the NFL Modern
Family will make a cameo.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
It'll be more it would be like he would have
an arc. You think he'd yeah, he would have yeah
yeah yeah yah stop yeah, like maybe there would be
something where is he Okay, there would be something where
maybe Jay and Gloria there's something happens, they get separated,
something like that, and Brady comes in and saves a day. Yeah,
well not saves a day, but maybe they're dating. But
then of course she goes back to Ed O'Neil.

Speaker 4 (30:13):
That's where the fight at her back to oh okay, yeah, okay, yeah,
yeah yeah yeah, and you get like Julie Bowen is
just the entire time is just fawning over him. The
name of the daughter, the oldest daughter, Haley, just all
over him.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Yeah, but she'll still be Dylan though, she'll still be with.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
De It doesn't matter before he could still be there.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
They all are, even Winter.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
To Tom Brady is like, I see what you mean
by that.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
We just figured that out and we really just put
Tom Brady on the Modern Family.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
We literally just wrote their first season.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
But you go there, that's it right there we're no
more than a year away. Tom Brady will be on
as a romantic interest of all the women on the show.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Of all the women, maybe Phil.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
And no one can and Mitch and Kevin Mitchell as well. Everybody.
Everybody has a cry, even Lily, who is now going
to be you know, forty, like even all going to
have a crush.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
It's like when Benjamin Benjamin Benjamin.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Brod she was on and everybody loved him, even the
men and the women.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
They were like, who is this her ex husband? It'll
be like that what do you got tight shirt?

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Question for you? Go ahead?

Speaker 7 (31:20):
Did you watch The White Lotus on HBO? Either of
you a little bit the first season? Okay, so you
remember how they're all rich and have no personality. Yeah, yeah,
so tom Brady probably has no personality.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Wow you think so? Oh for sure?

Speaker 4 (31:32):
I don't know, man, And that can go far, that's
what that won't go far if he has no personality.

Speaker 7 (31:36):
Well, I mean money and stature goes pretty far.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Not when somebody else's money and stature.

Speaker 7 (31:41):
Do you think she really like wants anything else?

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Maybe she's like.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
At that Joe Man Janello seems to have a personality.
Who her ex.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Husband Joe man Janello. Look what happened from True Blood? Yeah,
but they were together for a long time.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
They got like eight years.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Yeah. Monty's like, if if a guy doesn't smile in
the first eight seconds, he done done. You're done. I'm done,
no personality, you You're done done? What else?

Speaker 7 (32:05):
I gotta say it on their.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Okay? Ahead, Why don't we get to what's trending right now?
That sounds like a great way, yes, to pull the
parachute and to find out what's trending.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
All right, Well, start in baseball.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
No, there was no baseball today.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
Yeah, we're gonna There was almost a no hitter, almost
a no hitter by the Mariners. They were playing the
Yankees in the Bronx and Brian wu pitch seven innings
no hits, but in the eighth inning, Gastism Junior broke
up that no hitter for the Yankees. In fact, they
force extra innings and how do they win it?

Speaker 3 (32:37):
And an Aaron.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Judge walk off sackfly in the tenth inning, Yankees come
back down five to zero to defeat the Mariners six'.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
You, now look this story from. TODAY i saw it
and at, first, wow this is, cool AND i, said,
ah this is really. Sad So Michael jordan had this
big mansion In chicago for the longest. Time everybody knows
the big twenty three on the gate gate, Right he
had it forever long and he sold it not too long.
Ago it was on the market for a. While he
finally sold. It, okay, Great now the person who bought

(37:24):
it is now renting it out as An. Airbnb so you,
yes and, yes if you have to stay for at
least a week and not letting you stay. Overnight you
have to say for at least a. WEEK i think
you have to leave some sele like a fish twenty.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Five thousand dollars to.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
Deposit, yeah like just in case you know your dog
goes to the bathroom Where, hey, right you can.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Only have twelve, people but there's seventeen and a half,
bathrooms so why CAN i only have twelve?

Speaker 1 (37:48):
People, well there was. Plenty i'm gonna use. Two i'll
get too. Bad i'm gonna use this one and then
the Next i'm gonna use the other. One i'm gonna
see itch. ONE i like. Better this is a better. Bathroom,
NO i like that. BATHROOM i got THAT. Jap BUT
i see this and the guy, goes, YEAH i don't
know What i'm gonna do with. It the, OWNER i
don't know What i'm gonna do with. It So i'm
gonna have this. Now AND i feel, like, oh that's pretty,
cool you, know An. Airbnb but THEN i, go this

(38:10):
Is Michael Jordan's chicago, Home like this stands for the
entire nineties and the run of The, bulls and it
was so, sacred, like, look everybody knew where he, lived
and he didn't really have any problems, there and you
know the big twenty three on the hard to not
think that's where he, lives and, yeah here we are
in twenty twenty. Five it's an. Airbnb like that just

(38:31):
makes me.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
SAD airbb because it's kind of, like, well it's. Over
you can only assume that it's not gonna remain as
the home of Mj.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Yeah but the person, Buying HEY i Bought Michael JORDAN'S
i live In Michael jordan's. House.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
Yeah but if it's like then make it a. Museum
this airbeon happy.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
Dude this wears A pippin jersey all over the. Place,
yeah BUT i DON'T i.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
Don't see how you're gonna have success with An airbnb
At Michael jordan's home like. That it's almost like making
a museum and to charge people to come see what
it looked like at one, POINT i.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
Think see the thing IS i think people will come.
There BUT i, mean you spent a lot of. Money
how long until you recoup your investment and forget? It
you're not going to he's, yeah, no he's.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
Not he paid nine point five million for, it but
at one point it was listed over a decade ago
for twenty nine.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Million, Yeah like he sold that like he needed a
lot of money, lost so a lot of he waited
to try and get someone and the fact they got
the owner still is. That, Yeah i'm gonna rent it
as An, Airbnb, LIKE i don't, know is it.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
In the face be An. Airbnb, yeah, LIKE i don't,
know maybe just shouldn't have sold. It he shouldn't have sold.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
It, WELL i, mean buy it for twenty nine and
you're gonna wait for the market to come back twenty nine.
Million you sold it for nine, million and, yeah really
you had a bad, realtor you had a bad bad.
RelA put it on there your, House. Michael we're gonna
put it out there for thirty. Million it's been on
the market for three and a half. Years, now went
after like sixteen days is when everybody get starts getting

(39:56):
nervous and they have to pull this listing off and
go back on. There it's been. On it's been two
weeks and we haven't sold the house. YET i don't
know what to. Do this was on the market for
a long ast five years and took twenty million dollars
off of the price off of.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
IT i, mean how desperate does?

Speaker 1 (40:11):
It? Now it's an airb OH i bought a money for,
MONEY i bought a money. Pit it's An airbnb.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
NOW i just don't get twelve guests twenty five thousand.
Dollars it's, like who's going to stay? There so if
you haven't got, On Tom.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Brady, well if if you're saying, that it's, like, well
well yeah they would just, YEAH i can't believe they
wouldn't buy. It BUT i mean, THAT i mean you could, say,
okay so if that many people, come it's two thousand
dollars for a, week then it's not it's not so.
Bad that's the.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
Deposit yeah, bye two thousand dollars for a week per. Person,
okay now you're. Talking it's it's just.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
Sad it is.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Sad now it's an, airba the end of an.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
Era it's like seeing the mall used to go to
all the, time seeing a clothes the mall. Clothed i'm so,
sad so. Sad coming up, next we celebrate an absolute
legend and the greatest rant in sports of all. Time that's.
Neck we lost an absolute legend in the world Of

(41:07):
Major League. Baseball FORMER mlb Manager Lee elia died at
the age of eighty. Seven and you're, thinking oh my, god,
yes don't, worry we're going to play. It Lee ilia
fifty years In Major League baseball and won The World
series with The phillies in nineteen. Eighty The phillies hadn't
won in ninety. YEARS i think before they won in nineteen,

(41:27):
eighty so Lee ilia was you, know becomes a. Legend
but then three years later he becomes even more of a. Legend,
NOW i, Know manci working for The dodgers as you.
DO i am sure that people talk about The tommy
La Sorda ranta oh.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Fair oh so many. Times, YEAH i, know just his character.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
Overall you, Know tommylsorta was the man and definitely was
the character on the field and off the field until
honestly till his last. Day, YEAH i was giving a
tour one time and he pulled my hair AND i turned.
AROUND i was going to swing out, somebody AND i
realized it was.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
Him.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
WOW i pulled my pony no, hard but he pulled my. Ponytail.
Wow AND i was gonna swing BECAUSE i was.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
Like who Is? Wow?

Speaker 3 (42:02):
Hi Hi TOMMY.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
Cmz dodger employee knocks Down Tommy. Lasorda Hi.

Speaker 5 (42:09):
Tommy.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
Yeah it was in the press box many many.

Speaker 4 (42:13):
Years, ago and so he was always still till his last,
day he was a.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
Character.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
Now, now did you ever ask him his opinion Of kingman's?
PERFORMANCE i did not do. That so look that is very, famous,
right The tommy La Sorda kingman's performance. Rant we're gonna
play it for you Because i'm gonna tell. You i'll
give you this hot. Take the Lee ilia rant is.
Better the Lee ilia rant is the greatest rant in
the history of. Sports but let's give you a time

(42:40):
frame of reference, here because here's A Tommy La sorda
rant made famous after a day where The dodgers lost
to The cubs And Dave kingman of The, cubs one
of the best sluggers of the seventies and, eighties former
Met Dave kingdom had a big day with three home,
runs had a big day for the for the for The.
Cubs tommy didn't like the question that was asked after the,
game in which he was simply asked to, hell your
opinion of King men's. Performance so let's Hear Timulus order's

(43:02):
opinion Of kingman's. Performance it's your.

Speaker 6 (43:04):
Opinion otain of what it's my opinion Of PA's. Performance
what do you think is my opinion of? IT i
think it was put that. IN i don't know opinion
of this. Performance he beat us with three home. Runs
what can you? Mean what is my opinion of this?
Performance why can you ask me that question like, that

(43:24):
what is my opinion of? His problem of this? Performance
you get three home, Runs i'm doctor to lose this.
Game and you asked me my opinion of this. PERFORMANCE
i mean that's a tough, question asked, me isn't? It
what is my opinion of his? Performance? Yes it? IS

(43:48):
i ask you gave me an. Answer, WELL i didn't
give you a good answer Because i'm, Mad BUT i
Mean i'm in a good QUESTIONS a tough question to ask?
Me right? Now what is my opinion of this? PERFORMANCE
i mean you to tell you what my opinion of
his performance? Is just that's, right. Guy it's a great
whole runs against.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
This here's my favorite. Part oh he? Goes they, said
what do you?

Speaker 4 (44:13):
Have?

Speaker 6 (44:13):
What?

Speaker 1 (44:13):
Knocking?

Speaker 4 (44:14):
Eight?

Speaker 1 (44:14):
Runs? Nine? Like why would you even Correct tommy on? That? Nine?
Nine are? Bones like?

Speaker 6 (44:19):
It?

Speaker 1 (44:20):
Really you hear it and it very much has a
lot OF i wonder, if like if you Asked Joe, peshi,
hey did you base that scene From goodfellows where he
kept saying why the? Blanke AM i so? Funny what
makes me so? Funny because he keeps saying why AM
i so? Funny why AM i so? Funny Because tommy
keeps saying my, opinion his, performance his, performance keeps saying
his performance over and over. Again now that is absolute, gold,

(44:40):
right your opinion has. Performance so that's. Great BUT i mean,
this this is honestly it's better because we'll just play.
It but let me give you the recap. Here So
lee early and managing The cubs in nineteen eighty, three
and The cubs had just been sold at the, time
like The wrigley sale had just gone. Through The cubs
had a lot of. Expectations now they woud up having

(45:02):
a really good year in nineteen eighty four and they
went to the. Playoffs you, know The cubs were you,
know their cubs the. Drought So ilia gets hired and they,
want they expect and they have. Expectations he won The
World series with The phillies a couple of. Years, hey
you stopped the ninety year drought. There come here and
do the same. Thing so The philly The cubs start
out poorly and they lose a game to The. Dodgers

(45:23):
uh four to THREE i think was the. Score and
they lost a really bad. Way like their, Closer Lee
smith like like walked like walk the lead off batter
and then hit a guy and then a wild pitch and.
Something they lost for. Three so The cubs now early
season record is. Bad it's like five and, thirteen so
so The cubs Are so it's a home game In.
Chicago The cubs. Lose it's a day, game of, course

(45:44):
so you, know it's like a thousand, degrees although it Was,
april so it was probably not too bad and so
after but after the game was, over apparently there was
a bit of a back and forth with a couple
Of cubs players and some fans who like threw a
couple of things that out of. PLAYER i Think Keith
moorland was one of the, outfielders, Right so this is
the backdrop to get. Here it's not JUST i gotta get.
Here so The cubs. Expectations they lose a. Game they

(46:05):
lose in a heartbreaking, manner and stuff happens with fans
and the, players And Lee, eliam manager of The, cubs
decides to really let everybody know what he thinks of
The cubs fans who came out to the. Game, Now, ALEX.

Speaker 8 (46:25):
I hope we get to stump it up. Them three
thousand show up every because if they're the Real chicago
and right downtown And.

Speaker 6 (46:40):
Twitter they're really really behind you around.

Speaker 8 (46:44):
Here to go out there and let them destroyed every
day and be quiet about. It for the people to
show up even, work that's quite. Right it's.

Speaker 6 (47:09):
The other come out.

Speaker 9 (47:10):
Here eighty five percent of the people, work the other
fifteen percent come out here in the.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
Cave why don't you get? Jobs like obviously it was
even more profanity filled Than Tommy. Lissorda so it.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
Was, longer right like the.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
One well, yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
This one's it was like three, minutes, right, yeah it's
like three. Minutes we just played the first minute of.
IT i, mean you can find it unedited many. Places
BUT i like my job AND i want to keep.
It so there's. That but that JUST i mean going
after the, fans how they, DID i, mean let that,
lead you, KNOW i mean just that line of eighty
five percent of the people have, jobs the other fifteen

(47:50):
percent come out here the.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
Game that was a good. Line that was a good.
LINE i, mean you.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Know, WHAT i.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
DON'T i don't blame. Him good for.

Speaker 4 (47:58):
Him that's defending your, team defending your players and putting
those fans on on. Trick come, on, MAN I i loved,
it AND i have heard it before.

Speaker 3 (48:08):
Unedited oh, yeah it's so. Long he won't, stop you won't.

Speaker 4 (48:12):
Stop but it's always great when you play a piece
of it and you only get like seven words out
of it because he's cursing so, much right, right, right
that's the best part of.

Speaker 3 (48:20):
It it really puts into perspective how mad he.

Speaker 1 (48:23):
Was AND i know AND i Know brandon who put
it together for. US i, said, HEY i, said, hey
WE i just heard. It you missed one WHAT i.
Know i'm just. Kidding i'm. Kidding i'm. Kidding i'm. Kidding
do what you got? It, yeah yet Got it's. All
it's all, good it's all. Good it's. All it. Happened
it happened Because i'm sitting here going when he, died tests,
like oh my, Goodness lee iliad Like and this is
a guy that had a great baseball. Career one of

(48:45):
the he was he had the career of he was
an okay, player he played in the middle was about
to a short amount of. Time and THEN i had
a big life in baseball as a coach and a
manager and again winning The World. Series that was a huge.
Deal that's just think about winning The world, series Like
Joe madden winning is The cubs manager in twenty. Sixteen
that's what it was like For Lee ely and The
phillies to win The world say they'd never done, it,

(49:06):
Right so all of, That but this is what he's.
Known this is what he's known, for this rant against
The Chicago cubs fans because stuff happened after a, game
AND i get, it you. Know and and the thing
is THAT i always had this take about The cubs
and why The cubs didn't win for a long. Time
and sometime SOMETIMES i think it's maybe too, simple BUT
i really think so because you think about this is,

(49:29):
again it was a game In, april so it was probably. Million,
yeah it was probably still you, know it's probably probably
windy and a little bit. Cold but just think for
all the years The cubs didn't have lights, forever, right
so every game was a day. Game now they play night,
games but every day is a day. Game and you
get Into may And june And july And, august and

(49:50):
it is, hot, man Especially. Chicago it's like the oddest
place in the. World, Right LIKE I rememdery being a
kid hearing stories about chicag and the temperatures In chicago
today are hundred and seventy five. Degrees everything is melting
and it's just going right into the. River so luckily
it's a good so and and but you're playing every single.
Day AND i always would, think you, know maybe if

(50:12):
they played night, games things would go, differently because you
get all your energy is sapped during every day in
the middle of that. Heat you're really pissed off at
the end of games when you lose because you're incredibly,
hot and it gets to you, Right, like just think
about the average, person you, know when you're in the
middle Of we're in the summer right. Now we're just
starting on so the middle Of, july but we get

(50:34):
into Late july And august when the temperatures really get
hot and it's all my Good and think about how
upset you. ARE i don't want to go out in
the heat, here and these guys have to go play
whether they want to or, not every day at two, o'clock,
man every, day and you're out in the hottest part of.
That AND i really think that there's something to the
fact that it's just so it was just so. Hot of,
course by the time you get To, august they're. Done

(50:57):
their bodies are are not operating at the same level
as every other player because all the other teams are
playing at, night they're playing. Indoors not that they don't
play at night and, indoors but half your season is
at home during the. Day every game is a day.
Game every game was a day. Game and and SO
i always thought for a long, time had they had lights,
earlier maybe things would have been differently because of your energy,

(51:18):
level your overall, attitude your, happiness happy player is a good.
Player all these things are affected when you got to
go out every single. Day you, know oh we got
seven seven game homestand, great what's the temperature ninety, seven ninety,
eight ninety, six one oh, one one hundred ninety, Eight
and there wasn't Ever, hey we're gonna not play the
game because the heat index was too. High now we're

(51:38):
not gonna know. It can't do.

Speaker 3 (51:39):
It what can you?

Speaker 1 (51:40):
Do you're outside like the misery because you have to
play outdoors all the. Time that's what makes this so
special is that they adn't even got to that part
of the season, Yet like it's Still, Hey i'm still
wearing a you, know a jacket because it's windy and it's.
Cold it's probably about fifty degrees at the end of
the game when it gets, me like six o'clock with
all the with all the wind coming off the. River,

(52:00):
okay that's what makes us that that he got this
upset this early in the.

Speaker 4 (52:04):
Season you're blowing my mind thinking about, that, right you're
blowing my mind BECAUSE i had no. Idea you know
that they didn't have the, lights and that they were
playing majority of their day.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
Games it makes. SENSE i just didn't.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
Know.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
Absolutely the heat is.

Speaker 4 (52:17):
Draining it is annoying when my friends are, like you
want to go, drink And i'm, like, yeah at, NIGHT
i don't want to go day.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Drink i'm exhausted by. One i'm exhausted by, one AND
i don't want to talk to anybody else the rest of.

Speaker 1 (52:28):
It, no, wait day. Drink that's morning. Drinking is, wait,
wait that's morning, drinking is what you're. Describing jay drinking
is day. Drinking As i'm going out on the right
side of, noon you're a morning DRINKING i. Know if
you're done by one now at eight, o'clock.

Speaker 3 (52:41):
Nine, o'clock like like before ten.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
Brunch, okay SO i, SAID i said nine. O'clock, no, no, no,
no like before, ten that's the hour before.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
Ten that's the hour before. Ten, YEAH i don't, know but, okay,
fine two. O'clock but it's.

Speaker 10 (52:53):
True the sun is so draining that you absolutely you
are right that by the end of the season you're
exhausted and you're more cranky compared to other.

Speaker 3 (53:04):
Teams so you're. Right the fact that it was Only
april and he was already this was his first.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Season, uh second, season so early ON i don't, know
this time fired later on in the, SEASON i believe
because he cursed out, WELL i don't know how much more. Fans,
yeah that's the, thing is that what once you take
on a fan, base your own fan, base you're you're
on mark. Time you're not you're.

Speaker 4 (53:25):
Not suddenly going to come out and if you're not,
winning unless you're, winning because winning makes, everything, okay, yeah
but then you're.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
Not also not insulting the fan. Base if you're, winning
you're as it's.

Speaker 4 (53:32):
Not but if your, fans if your fans suck and
they're throwing stuff on the. Field, yeah, yeah you, know
like Sometime i'm not saying that that that's how you
should handle certain fan. Bases BUT i do think certain
fan bases when they start throwing things.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Up the players need to be called. Out yeah you
know What i'm.

Speaker 1 (53:45):
Saying, yeah the ones that don't have the, job the
ones that don't have.

Speaker 3 (53:49):
Jobs that was a great. Line that is a great.

Speaker 1 (53:51):
LINE i, mean just the profanity. ALONE i feel like
if if I'M i, Know i'm splitting. Hairs BUT i feel,
like you, know The Lee ely as great as the list,
is The Lee ely is just it's just so. Legendary
it's so off the, bat and there's so many different
things that he, Says Like tom of The sorda just
keeps going back to his. Performance you're, right his performance
ALL i, mean any, manager it's gonna get asked like

(54:13):
if you lose a, game, hey what'd you think of
the guy that had a big night against? You like
that's a that's a. Storyline and all he kept saying
is his, performance his. Performance Lee ily is going on
talking about, hey the fans and what's going on during the,
day and now nobody has, jobs and then it still
goes on for two minutes after.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
That, no, wait way more for us is because When i'm,
mad AND i start yelling and. CURSING i lose my
train of, thought and THEN i don't know What i'm yelling.

Speaker 1 (54:35):
At you don't say the same thing over and.

Speaker 3 (54:37):
Over it might IF i lose my train of thought
Because i'm so. MAD i feel like that's, natural, right
where you just keep going back to. It that is.

Speaker 4 (54:43):
IMPRESSIVE i picture like the whole monologue, READY i picture.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
You as someone that when you get, Mad, yeah, okay
you get, mad and after it's, over like something, happens
whatever happens after it's, over you sit back and, go.
Hmm some of the STUFF i SAID i don't. REMEMBER
i don't remember some of that kind of blacked out
in the in the. Middle maybe a little bit of,
that like some of, it a little. Bit and then
something you started saying some stuff THAT i didn't even
know what language you were.

Speaker 3 (55:07):
SPEAKING i didn't EVEN i didn't even know WHAT i was. Saying, yes,
yeah oh absolutely WHAT i.

Speaker 1 (55:12):
SAID i didn't say. That yeah he? Did he?

Speaker 4 (55:14):
Did?

Speaker 1 (55:14):
Really is?

Speaker 6 (55:14):
It?

Speaker 3 (55:14):
OKAY i MUST i must meant.

Speaker 4 (55:19):
EVERY i don't remember, it BUT i meant it WHEN
i said.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
It did you mean? IT i must?

Speaker 3 (55:25):
Have must? Have it came from Somewhere you sure about?

Speaker 1 (55:27):
That, no BUT i must have meant.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
It buy me WHAT i said, again.

Speaker 1 (55:33):
Of my friends go to, work you, know fifteen percent
come here and give me a hard. Time that's what. Happened,
oh rest in peace. Leave, yeah what a. LEGEND i,
know what a.

Speaker 4 (55:43):
Legend and especially because NOW i don't know if we
have anybody like.

Speaker 1 (55:47):
That nobody.

Speaker 3 (55:48):
Does nobody doesn't really really.

Speaker 1 (55:50):
Don't We we kind of peaked with tirades by coaches
and managers in the, aughts like we didn't. REALIZE i
don't know that we have great, ones many great ones after, that.

Speaker 4 (56:01):
We really don't like when J. J reddick dropped THE
f bomb and his introductory press. Conference he's a THE f.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
Bomb oh, yeah, yeah he didn't even say.

Speaker 3 (56:10):
One, now no use.

Speaker 1 (56:11):
It he saved the whole thing for hating me for you,
know for that one press conference at the. END i
don't care What Jason smith has to. SAY i appreciate.
It he didn't curse in, it, though SO i mean it's. Okay,
