Speaker 2 (00:22):
Let's give this.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Greetings, Welcome inside, Happy Monday,

Tirerack dot Com is the way tire buying should be. Well,
Monday Night, we jump right into Monday Night football. If
you have the under you're feeling good. If you're a
Niners fan, boy, you're realizing money was better spent elsewhere.

(01:08):
Uh you think now, harm The Niners fans are realizing, boy,
we really overpaid for brock Purty. We got better, if
not the same production from mac Jones when the weapons
weren't healthy. Then we're getting from Purdy, who has single
handedly kept this game close tonight, and not in that way.
Three picks for party tonight. He has thrown a touchdown,

(01:32):
it's a ten to three lead, but boy, he has
looked awful. His ball looks wobbly, just completely. The pass
the Jawan Jennings that was really just looked like it
was waffling out of his hand. He could have thrown
at least two more. This is not brock Purdy is bad.
It's not brock Purty is terrible. It's just he was.
He jumped in when maybe a lot of guys could

(01:54):
have succeeded in that forty nine ers offense. Right, other
guys just weren't healthy, couldn't keep the gig. You had
all kinds great playmakers out there, and they make the
trade for McCaffrey and suddenly think, well, brock Purdy is
an absolute game breaker. Well, perty was okay when you
have that kind of weapons. I think even Zach Wilson
could have done okay with those weapons. Okay, okay, even

(02:15):
even Mike White could have done well with those weapons.
But now you saw that Purdy not great last year,
got hurt this year. Mac Jones steps in with a
lot of his main weapons injured. Right, Man, there's been
no Brandon Ayuk all year and he's probably not gonna
play for them again. There was no George Kittle most
of the way, all no Ricky Piersoll McCaffrey was healthy. Right,

(02:37):
And of course you're gonna give him the ball a
thousand times a game. But you're getting the same kind
of production, the same kind of stuff from Purdy you're
getting from mac Jones, who, you know, you pay ten
million dollars a year or two, which it kind of
shows you what a great offensive coach Kyle Shanahan is.
But boy, you really mismanage the quarterback position and what

(02:58):
you had to pay a guy. I think the Niners felt,
will we have to pay brock perty We got we
found him. We found him for nothing, right, mister irrelevant.
We found the guy, and oh look what he is.
What a great story he is? Boy? All right? And
then you had your window, you had your window to win,
and you couldn't. And now you have to pay him.
And now you realize that, oh man, brock Party maybe
is a league average quarterback. Maybe he's a league average quarterback. Now,

(03:22):
it's not just tonight, it's basically what you've seen from
Perdy when he's been healthy the last season and now
two thirds of a season, compared to what you got
for mac Jones in a very short amount of time,
short amount of time with the ones in the playbook
this year.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah, I think were you're getting into difficulty with Purdy
is that the strength is supposed to be the ability
to push the ball down the field. The problem is
he's a turnover machine. And for those that love to
raise an eyebrow over the league, what the hell was
that play called by Bryce Young on the one yard
line one and a half and you're throwing the ball
you had all day to run, he had a blocker

(03:55):
out in front of him. What the hell are they doing?
And basically in an opportunity for the Panthers to go
and claim a big piece after Tampa loses. But we'll
get to them in a minute. With the brock Purty
side of things, you're trying to push the ball, but
this is the fourth game he's played. Guess what multiple
interceptions in all of them. Right, So the good and

(04:16):
the bad of it when you're talking about air yards
and trying to stretch the field, give mccraffrey a little
more run, give Kittle a little more space to operate.
It's come with the downside. And in this case, you're
starting to see memes of pictures of party with the
caption I think j C. Horn is opened downfield, Ye
Jase York, but his best receiver tonight. Come on, man,

(04:38):
he's found a guy. I mean he's on the other team,
but he's found a guy finding him in space. There's
no question about it.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
But to your point.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Right, it's the to some degree, it's the loyalty of
a guy that we found and he's our project guy.
And look, he was accomplished in college, had a good
run at Iowa State. We've seen all those receivers go
on to great prominence, drafted by the same team. We
watched him play for the Houston Texans, UH the last
couple of weeks. But when we look at what Purdy is,

(05:09):
you're thinking, all right, with these weapons, with him on
the com, he'll get better, he'll get more efficient, will
maximize this window with these wide receivers. The AUK thing
is a whole other mess that needs like three hours
of dialogue and a bunch of PowerPoint presentations. But when
we look at what Purdy's done to date, Yeah, it's

(05:31):
it's hand ringing because you are in theory back towards
full strength. Uh, and yet it's looks just so inconsistent
uh and inefficient. And for Kyle Shanahan, he keeps making
the excuses. Hey, he's got to keep winging. It's like
he just missed, Like no, no, no, that's the margin of
error in the National Football League, just missing as an

(05:53):
interception versus a completion.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah, like, oh, he just missed, So what what does
that mean? It means it means you missed. It means
you miss means you didn't get it. Yeah, I mean, oh,
he just missed that game winning shot. Well, you know
lots of game winning shots you just missed.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
It means they missed a situation. In this case, it
found your receiver's hands or it found the defenders. And
guess what, Generally in the defensive backfield, what do we say,
those are the guys that are failed wide receivers. So
when they actually catch it, that means it was a
really good ball that you threw directly to Most of
the time. Now, there's obvious exceptions that you can go through,

(06:29):
and all our Sundays are littered with tip balls that
go as interceptions for the quarterback where they put it
in the guy's chest, on their hands, whatever. None of
those were the case for Brockberty this evening.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
No and the Niners go in for a touchdown. Here
Christian McCaffrey runs it in from twelve yards out, his
first touchdown of the night, to a seventeen to three lead. Look,
the Niners defense playing extremely well tonight. Bryce Young and
the Carolina Panthers can't do anything with the football. It's
one of those nights where the Niners are lucky. This
is who they're playing, right like okay, because it's really

(07:04):
hard to overcome three interceptions like this and still be
up by two scores in a game for all the Hey,
Carolina is no, Carolina is not really good Carolina Once
in a while they're the definition of a five hundred team.
But they're probably not really as good as their record
are now last year.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
But it's the NFL in twenty twenty five, Jason is,
so that is they're great?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah, six and five, we're fat? How bad does that
tell you like teams like the Jets and the Raiders
are Man, Hey we're great at six and five? What
are you at two and nine?

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Man?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
We can't even bring it up to us.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
But after the Tampa lost yesterday, all of a sudden
the door was open. Hey, a big five tonight, you got,
you know, go after your old guy McCaffrey.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Here.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
By the way, he was minus three forty for at
any time touchdown today. I don't think I've ever seen
that no applies. Yeah, well, who I mean, who else?
They get close and they're gonna give it to what
every player?

Speaker 1 (07:56):
You're like, why wouldn't you? Right, he's got he's got
sixteen rushing attempts. He's got seven tonight, Like he's eighty
percent of the offense.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
He touched the first five or six stabs on that
first possession, was like McCaffrey again.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
He's gonna have seventy touches tonight. Now he's got he's
gonna be like Jamior Gibbs yesterday. He's got like twenty
rushes and like fifteen receptions. Like that's the day he's avage.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
But you know what, he's got an ice bath waiting
for him. He'll be just fine.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Look, they're at home against an overmatched opponent tonight, so
he can overcome these interceptions. But you know that that's
the whole thing. It's not that brock Purdy's bad, It's
that you really miscalculated just what his value is as
a quarterback. Because I'm telling you put brock Purty a
bunch of other teams. He's not giving you what some
other quarterbacks are. But lots of guys could do this
on the forty nine ers, as you have seen Mac
Jones walk in after being a failed quarterback going hey,

(08:45):
I'm pretty good, And now the Niners had to go
to brock Purty as quick as possible because the more
mac Jones played and played well, the more you have
a quarterback controversy, and the more you look bad because
you did give brock Purty all that money and he's
sitting on your bench like we gotta put him back
out there. Okay, so you put him back out this
is what you're getting.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Well, maybe mac Jones is the lead. How about that
I turned that coin over, dude.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
I'm telling you Mac Jones twenty twenty six New York
Jets starting quarterback. I guarantee it guarantee it's gonna happen. Well,
I guarantee it, you know.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
In the swirling winds of all the scuttle button around
Bill Belichick and why he wouldn't be hired again, some
of it is personnel stuff and talking about who he
trusted with decision making and bringing players along. There's a
giant picture of Mac Jones in the middle of that
and Matt Patricia with the pencil behind his ear, and.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Belichick pointed out, this is the guy that got me fired.
This guy got me fired. This guy right here, this
guy right here. So we'll have more in this game
throughout again. A Panther's getting the ball back now here,
about four and a half to go in the third quarter.
Niners lead at seventeen to three. Meanwhile, we now know
who the number one quarterback is going to be at
least for another week in Cleveland, as Shador Sanders earlier

(09:56):
today was named the starter for the Browns next week,
even though Dylan Gabriel has cleared concussion protocol. Right now,
two big things on this because we talked about this
on Friday, and boy did we get this right. We
told you, look what Shador Sanders is going to do
against the Raiders number one. It's the Raiders number two.
He will have a handful of plays where he will

(10:17):
play really where he will make really good decisions and
make really good throws. Right, the fifty nine yard throw
was a big one he had. That's the kind of
game he had. It's hard for me to watch all
the coverage day because, oh, Chador standers like the guy
didn't show up and go for three seventy and four touchdowns. Okay,
he was. He was good in spots and it was
the Raiders all right.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
As that pass he hit Dylan Samson with where Samson
then ran seventy four yards. Got YEA was drinking wine.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
He saw, he saw the act.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
He's drinking wine the whole way, all the way down
the field.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
He saw the yact. Right, it's all good, It's all yeah.
I saw. I saw that play.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Was all count just the same look.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
We told you that was going to be the day
for Shador Sanders, and that's what it was. He was unbelievably.
It was a great story. Dion there hugging him and
being excited. It really was. It was good. It was
good to see the Browns have hope because you needed
to see him play at some point, and now you have.
And the correct decision was made to give him another start.

(11:15):
This was not a decision you had to say, we're
giving them the ball the rest of the season. But
he did enough to warrant another start. Now, does this
mean with a bad start, he's out.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
No.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
I think what you've done here is okay, you've had
one good start. Now you see how next week goes.
And you do this on a weekly basis, not just
to make my Browns five quarterbacks prediction come true, which
is absolutely happening, but you know, but for the next week,
this was the right call that was made. He's the
starter for this week's tap the brakes. What Shador Sanders
earned was a chance to start again this Sunday. That's

(11:45):
what fifth round picks do. They're not given they're not
given anything. And this was the right decision. The Browns,
who have completely slow played this and played this ridiculously
all year long, this has been the right call. He's
starting next week. You see how it goes, and you
go week by week after that. That's what Shador Sanders did.
That's what Shador Sanders earned.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
A great reminder that with a mediocre offense. They could
win some games when Miles Garrett is absolutely terrorizing quarterback
to quarterback to quarterback. But eight point four yards per
intended air yards per attempt right now, that's what we
one of the big different and that's even with the
little swing passes. You know that big play down field
that you mentioned, the fifty nine yarder. Man, that's a

(12:25):
great throw right there. You take nothing away from that.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
He missed a bunch of not making that. No, but
that's the thing, right Dylon Gabriel came out.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
I think he was at like five point five point
nine yard and intended air yards attempt. That ties in
with Aaron Rodgers and Kyler Murray. Let's have that conversation.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Great.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
No, no, not great, not great, which means a lot
of extra work or you really have to scheme the
hell out of it to get your receivers in running
backs some clearance to make hay. But when we look
at what Schador did, he left a lot of plays
on the field. Do I love the cut of his jip?
Some of the post game stuff rub people.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
The wrong way.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
It's like, man, you just won your first start. You've
been waiting for the opportunity. You're gonna be peacocky. Now
you gotta go back it up this week because you
gotta go do it again. But you know, he made
a couple of big throws, goes over two hundred and
nine yards, well past the over hundred that we established
and talked about on Friday, and it played out exactly
as we thought. Some great plays, some terrible plays, and

(13:22):
the fact that the Raiders are really bad on both
sides of the ball really helps you in a big way,
and it takes nothing away from the performance. It's a
nice data point. Deshaun Watson being there as a mentor
was an odd look and something I don't think we
anybody anticipated seeing on the sidelines and all but curious
to see how that all flows. He might end up

(13:43):
being your fifth man. He might end up being that
fifth man you've been waiting for at the back end
of this conga line of quarterbacks. But for the interim,
there's no reason to go back to Dylan Gabriel. You
have proof of concept. Go see what Shadour can do
in an encore.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
And now he's gonna get this San Francisco forty nine
defense next week at home. So hey, prove it there.
Maybe then you keep the job for another three weeks
or so through Tennessee, Chicago, Buffalo, bit but it's this
was the right thing was done. Nobody panicked, nobody went
too crazy, nobody went too low, nobody decided no, Dylan
Gabriel's getting the job back. This is how it should go,

(14:18):
and it's going well. Sometimes you just tip your cap
and say, hey, the right decision was made. Now we
go forward, We go forward from here. Yeah, I love
a big hot take, but this is this is really
what it is.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Yeah, I mean, unfortunately, and you know, there's only one
game on the schedule less left of their home games
where they really need the help to sell tickets otherwise.
I mean, you got the forty nine Ers at home,
the Titans game is what I'm looking at. And then
you've got the Bills and the Steelers. Bills fans and
Steeler fans are going to show up regardless whether she
Doer's there or not. So just trying to find some

(14:49):
opportunity saying, get in there and sell, sell, sell, exit.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
How about a Fresca exit? Swallendm Jason Smith, Mike Harmon
Lot from the Fox Sports Radio studios Ted McMillan on
the end of a thirty yard touchdown pass. Pretty easy,
great pattern post end zone open by five yards. Bryce
Young hits him. We now have a one score game
in San Francisco, seventeen to nine, extra point pending. We'll

(15:13):
off more on this game coming up next. NFL insider

a little bit closer in San Francisco. Tech McMillan's touchdown
makes it a seventeen to nine game, Carolina not converting
the extra point, so an eight point lead for the

(16:57):
forty nine ers. As we begin the fourth quarter, already,
Niners on the move. Christian McCaffrey simply doing it all
for the forty nine ers tonight. He's got one hundred
and thirty nine yards from scrimmage and the Niners total
have like one hundred and forty yards from scrimmage. So
this is where we said we'll have more in this
game coming up in a few minutes. But joining us
now on the hotline, nobody better to break down all

(17:18):
the big news in the NFL. Longtime NFL Insider Odyssey
one oh five seven the Fan in Baltimore, Washington Post.
Wanta bet it is Jason Locke and for it, Jay,
what's happening man?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Happy Monday, Happy Monday, Happy Early Thanksgiving, Happy rock pretty
Patrick Tickday?

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Did you had you ever you have? You have a
three pit? What did you have? Four? Or five? How
many had for party tonight?

Speaker 2 (17:45):
No? I didn't. I didn't play his interceptions. I probably
should have. I played his rushing. Uh, but I did
not play an interception.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
You played Genos receptions. Yeah. So hey, speaking of quarterbacks,
let let's start here because watching yesterday, Lamar Jackson just
does not look right. And I know he is I
know he has said he is healthy. I know he
has said he has just banged up. But Jay, this
is this is more than just he doesn't look right

(18:17):
like he he can't break to the outside at all.
He can't, he can't he can't extend any plays like
if he was playing if they were playing thirty other
teams yesterday, the Ravens lose instead of but it's the Jets,
so you get the Jets. But boy Lamar just looks
like he looks like he's about sixty percent right now.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Yes, that's exactly what. That's what. That's where I would
approximate it. And losing his legs has now thrown off
his mechanics and thrown off his fundamentals, and his ankles
aren't connected to his shoulders, and he his leverage on
his throws is off, and he's clearly compensating. Now they've

(18:54):
added a tow to the injury report, so we've got
it's been an ankle, it's been a handstrained, it's been
a name nows to toe, who knows what it really is.
But it's not great. And they keep putting in there
with a more plotting running back in the backfield, and
it's not going anywhere. And there's no tempo, there's no taste,

(19:15):
there's no cadence to the offense. There's no confidence. They're
averaging four point seven yards per play in the first
half of games since we over the last seven games
since Week five, there's a seven games stand where in
the first half of games they've got four total offensive touchdowns,
just two passing touchdowns and those were both against Miami

(19:37):
on that Thursday Night the Mark Andrews where Miami looked
like they wanted to play football. It's a bottom It's
the worst read zone offense in the NFL. It airs
a lot, There's no explosives to be had. There's a
lot of issues. Now defense has gotten better, but I
think what the defense is about to see Thursday night

(20:00):
a whole lot different than Caleb Williams down Earlyue and
Tyrod Taylor and his first starter for fields was benched
and Bill and Gabriel and would probably turn out to
be his last NFL start. And I mean you can
just go look at what they but you KNOWJJ McCarthy,
So we'll see the defense had better be real, real,

(20:20):
real legit because the offensive major problems.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Yeah, the return of Joe Burrow for that one Thursday
Night over under sitting at fifty one and a half
last I see no t Higgins, but Jamar Chase coming
off to suspension and an apology, and he's five hundred
thousand dollars lighter. So curiosity of Joe Burrow and what
he brings to the table for sure.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Yeah, I mean, you know, there's obviously some variants there.
He's missed a lot of times. You know, they say
probably could and maybe played on Sunday, so they buy
him a few extra days. You know, I guess one
more quasi practice. But you know, he's fiery a bloke
and he'll be fired up for this. And you know

(21:05):
they were pissed off when the schedule came out that
they have to keep coming to bottom all on Thursday nights.
And now this isn't just any Thursday night, it's Thanksgiving night.
Kaith Brown's having a hell of a season and he's
been a problem for the Ravens. I think Jamark Chase's
last two games against the Ravens has twenty one catches,
four hundred and fifty seven yards and five tudies. So

(21:25):
there's that. Yeah, I'm not sure it's going to be
an all out, let's creating over game, because I think
Baltimore is gonna try to run the ball if they're
not doing it that well. Because as much as that
defense has improved, they know it's kind of for gazy
because they haven't played anybody. And I don't think they
trust their offense right now to win. They shootout with

(21:45):
Cincinnati and maybe Burrow is a little rusty, but yeah,
it's an intriguing matchup. I mean, Cincinnati season's effectively over,
but obviously it's a huge game for the Raven.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Jay. When speaking of quarterbacks, We've got the news today
that Dylan Gabriel cleared from concussion protocol, but Shador Sanders
will stay the brown starting quarterback. What'd you make of
what you saw yesterday?

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Look, the kid is going to if anything, he hangs
in there too long and he took too many hits
in college to try to make too many plays. But
he's going to fling the ball around. He's going to
give dudes chances to have fun playing football. It's not
going to be let me run a three yard out
and turn around and see if this guy can throw
it within a country mile of my body. Like it's

(22:34):
not that, and that's what it was. I mean, it's
just Dylan Gabriel. There's nothing about him that looked anything
close to an NFL quarterback and I'm fucking even a
backup like it just it wasn't. And this kid has
got a much bigger arm and he will give guys
chances to make plays. And again, I think there's just

(22:56):
a different energy there because dudes are having fun. They
feel like I can go and maybe do my thing
and maybe have a highlight. You know, in this game,
it's raw, it's rough, but that's by design because the
coach takes lots his hate SUTs. But I mean, the
coach clearly didn't brings him to the football player because
the coach could barely bring him up to say his name,
let alone give the kids, you know, a half decent

(23:18):
rep here or there. So he's got a make up
for some lost time. But look, they'd go on thirteen
straight road games without winning. I mean that's just the fact.
And this kid makes his first NFL start and they
went on the road for the first time in the year.
So yeah, as he had tried to go back to
the other guy, it would have you would have heard

(23:40):
about it.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
I think for the locker first Brown's quarterback to win
his first start since Eric Zeier back in nineteen ninety
five with Bill Belichick on the sideline.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Thursday, Kansas City, Dallas.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
You can take either side of that coin as to
what we're seeing every time the Chiefs are left for dead,
they resurrect like a movie villain. Uh, and then you
got the Cowboys suddenly a little plucky in that second half.

Speaker 6 (24:06):
Yeah, I mean, I think it's just one of those
games that the Chiefs find a way to win.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Dallas' defenses improved, for sure, and the Chiefs have been
horrible on the road, but I just think they win.
This team. Hats off Dallas to win the game. I
did not think they were gonna win coming in, and
I certainly didn't think they were gonna win when the
Eagles jumped them like they did. And this is you know, yeah,
this Dallas team has a little more heart and a
little more moxy than we've seen. And Schottenheimer, I gotta

(24:32):
give him credit. He's doing a heck of a job.
And Jerry went about it in a weird way. But
this defense is better than last year's defense. I believe
that now, if you had added a real d tackle
and kept Michael Parsons you know what she got all
the world, then you might actually be a playoff team.
Like then you you might have could have actually been something.

(24:54):
Now it's just typical, you know, Cowboys, h that's a
game I don't think it's a shootout either. I think
that's an under game. The Chiefs have become a dead
under team. Chiefs are the highest under the tide for
the highest under eight on the road since the start
of last season. I think Spags will make the Cowboys

(25:16):
run the ball against the shells and not give them
the easy quick hitters that Frankly, I was shocked the
Eagles gave them and the comeback. I think Dackle Phil
Pick along the Way and this is not Vinkigs Mahomes
right now. The red beat the chief red zone offense
on the road in particular is a disaster, and it
was a disaster at home on Sunday. So I just
think it's one of those games that Andy Reid AND's

(25:37):
Fags and Mahomes find a way to win, but it
might not be all that aesthetically pleasing.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Along the Way NFL insider Jason Locking for our guest here,
Jason Smith Mike harmon Fox Sports Radio. All right, can
you make sense of the Eagles? They come out House
of Fire, score their first three possessions, then suddenly that's
like they stopped playing after the first quarter. Like I
always got to execute our offense to win this game.
Can you make sense of them?

Speaker 2 (26:00):
I think it almost came too easy. I do. And
I think they thought we're going to score forty four
without breaking the sweat and there's no way these you know, jimokes,
you're going to come back on our defense the way
it's playing right now, And I get it. I would
have been thinking a lot of the same stuff. I
don't know. I still think they're a really good football
team that they don't do that very often met and

(26:26):
the past game is coming.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
Along, and luck with the injuries to the offensive line
and Saquon looking.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Like a guy who's coming off of two thousand yard season,
which usually the next two year is tough. They're going
to have to throw the ball and the quarterback is
going to have to put it out there and let
people make players on a little bit more, and he
can't be quite as conservative, and I you.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
Know, I think they'll be able to throw the ball
on the bear some So.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
I think Devanta Smith and the slot against that defense
is going to be somebody who catches the quarterbacks high
quite a bit. I think them going back home after
a loss like that, I don't know if they cover,
but I think they win the game, and I think
they'll be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs,
in large part because of the defense.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Yeah, I gotta think that the run chart for Saint
Kwon Barkley looks a little better than minus two one,
minus two three, all of those that you actually get
some juice there. Now, if we stipulate that the Rams
are the best team in football right now, do we
just fill out with record with the Broncos and Patriots
to finish out the metal standard? You got somebody else

(27:35):
in your eyes?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
I mean, I think the Broncos and the Eagles are
probably the other teams that I would probably put in
that tier in Seattle. You know, if I trusted Samsong
a little more, I could maybe get there with Seattle
because I like pretty much everything else about them. I can't.
I just doing what hasn't really played body. You know,

(28:00):
they're they're best winners against Buffalo. Buffalo is not good.
Bubbles are patently mediocre football team. So yeah, I can't.
I can't put it like Baltimore. We covered, They've got
a lot of issues right now. You know, the Chargers
I liked until the line got wiped out again. I mean,

(28:22):
I put Kansas City in Seattle kind of sniffing around
there just because the teacher cockroaches. They're not dead till
they're ever totally dead. And I don't know how many
teams have the right like concos and the raid to
spray them them up and make them actually flip over
and stay dead. But I I do. I I yeah.

(28:43):
If I you know my talent rankings, I think it's
the Rams. And then sort of clustered around them is
Denver and Philadelphia in large part because there defensive, and
then there's a cluster of you know, five to seven
other teams.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
You he' on Twitter at Jason lock and four That
is at Jason lock and four also at wanna bet
Washington Post one of five seven the fen in Baltimore Odyssey.
Jay is always buddy, appreciate.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
It, man.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
We'll talk to you next week.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Thank you, guys.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Thanks to have a good holiday, buddy.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Thanks. All right, So there we go. The Niners have
the football after picking off Bryce Young, they continue to
lead this game twenty to nine. Time how to find
out what's trending in the wide world of sports. So
someone who's been called the Philadelphia Eagles of Fox Sports Radio. Huh,
he shows up and does great in the beginning, then
he just mails it in the rest of the way.
It's seat to say, Wow, what.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
A counsel of it.

Speaker 7 (29:37):
My goodness, we have five interceptions in this game at
San Francisco tonight. The Niners are ahead of Carolina twenty
to nine. Now, San Francisco had a great opening drive
to start the evening.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
It was nearly nine.

Speaker 7 (29:50):
Minutes worth fifteen plays, seventy two yards, brock Purty a
touchdown pass of twelve yards to Juwan Jennings, Party, then
through three and the rest of the first half. In
the last couple years in the NFL, only one other
quarterback has thrown at least three interceptions in the first
half of a home game, and that was brought Party,

(30:11):
also on a Monday night game against the Ravens a
couple of years ago. Party right now one hundred and
eighty five yards passing Christian McCaffrey twenty carries seventy nine
yards and a touchdown. He's been targeted seven times and
has seven receptions for another fifty three yards. Bryce Young
won touchdown two interceptions. The TD pass was late third

(30:32):
quarter twenty nine yards to rookie Tep McMillan twenty to nine.
San Francisco leads because although the Panthers did kick the
extra point after that McMillan touchdown, well, there was a
defensive penalty, so they said, why not go for two
if you're going to give us the lightest crivage at
the one. Yeah, that pass failed, so twenty to nine
for the home team. Brown's quarterback Dylan Gabriel was cleared

(30:53):
to play, but Shador Sanders will start again Sunday against
the forty nine Ers. Gabriel is out of concussion protoc.
The Vikings place quarterback JJ McCarthy in concussion protocol. Backup
QB Max Brosmer will take the first team reps in practice.
Bucks quarterback Baker Mayfield has a sprain left shoulder, but
it's called a low grade sprain with no long term concerns.

(31:15):
Teddy Bridgewater would start this Sunday for Tampa Bay against
the Cardinals if Mayfield can't play.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
The New York.

Speaker 7 (31:21):
Giants fired defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. The Raiders promoted Greg
Olsen to interim offensive coordinator after firing Chip Kelly. On
Sunday night, Washington quarterback Jaden Daniels will return to practice
this week, but he hasn't been cleared for contact yet
after a left elbow dislocation three weeks ago. The Saints
are reportedly trying out two kickers, Cade York and Justin Tucker,

(31:44):
whose suspension is over. Blake Groupie missed two field goals
on Sunday. Eagles rookie safety Andrew mccouba will reportedly have
surgery for a broken ankle. New England rookie tackle Will
Campbell is believed to have a sprain to mcl and
there right.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Stee, So what you're telling me is TJ Groupie may
no longer be with the band at this time next week. J.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
That was actually pretty good.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
I'll tell you, he got the actually nicely. That's that's
a guy who has heard me do that so many times. Oh,
it's a good one.

Speaker 7 (32:17):
No, that's a good one, kind of like Berman himself.
Three games in the NFL this Thursday on Thanksgiving. The
late game on Thursday is Cincinnati at Baltimore, and Bengals
quarterback Joe Burrow is expected to play after the toe injury.
Bud wide receiver t Higgins is out with a concussion.
There is one game on Black Friday, streaming only unless

(32:38):
you're in Chicago or Philadelphia. That's Chicago at Philadelphia and
this Saturday on Fox TV number one, Ohio State at
number fifteen Michigan. Detroit's Pistons won their thirteenth straight game.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Tonight.

Speaker 7 (32:50):
Toronto won it's eighth in a row, Miami it's fifth
straight win. And the next one at Brooklyn won thirteen
one hundred, Carl Anthony Towns thirty seven points. Brooklyn is
three and fourteen.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Back to you, Thank you, Steve O thirty seven in
a row in a row. Absolute test coming up next.
We'll keep you posted on everything. Monday Night football still
twenty to nine, forty nine ers with the lead midway
through the fourth quarter, but straight ahead. We had two
big collapses yesterday and two coaches paid for it with
their jobs today. That's next right here, Jason and Mike

(33:21):
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Ah wait, Jason, I think Notre Dame just scored again.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific. Take this Nat handed and love has a
hole at the middle. Here he goes across the forty
now over midfield. It's the Jets of the forty.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Thirty twenty Tenny's gonna go all the way. Scherami alive.
He's the best player in the country. Sixty eight yards
itit's his third touchdown of the game. Send that man
to New York.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Stop. It was Sarrah coutch Wayte Thank Irish Radio Network. There,
of course, is your play of the day. Brought to
you by tire Iraq for over forty years, tireracks but
helping customers find the right tires for how, what and
where they drive. Shipped fast and free, backed by free Road,

(34:18):
Tiraq dot Com is the way tire buying should extra
cockfight what Frostbury. We didn't have the seventieth point from
Notre Dame. No, we did not.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
We stopped rolling at fifty six nine. The fact that
we got to that point was surprising to me. I
would have thought after twenty one or twenty eighth they
we know we were rolling down fifty six nothing because
Syracuse could have come back at any point.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
Mike Hey, when we Hey, when we made it we
score with a few seconds left. How do we not
go for two? I mean, you're down seventy to six,
Go for two, Go for two, Go for go.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Why did you just take es and just be done
for two?

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Go for two. I can't tell you how embarrassing this
was Saturday to watch this. I really Notre Dame up
twenty one nothing before even got the football. This looks
like it looked like one of those games from one
of those football movies where the ragtag team just gets
absolutely worked in the first half and they're down like
forty two to nothing, but then the star player shows

(35:12):
up the beginning of the second half and everybody starts
playing great. I mean two pick six is in a
block punt for a touchdown. I looked up seriously. I
looked this up when it was thirty five nothing and
Notre Dame was in the Syria inside the Syracuse five
yard line with a minute left to go in the
first quarter, and I said, oh, my goodness, has anybody
ever scored forty two points in the first quarter of
a game in FBS history? And I googled it, and

(35:35):
AI said, we cannot find an instance of a football
team scoring forty two points in the first quarter of
an FBS game the most recent time, and they talked
about thirty five points and then it goes back to
and the most lopsided score of all time was Georgia
and Cumberland, which was two hundred and twenty two to nothing. Yes, yes,
the most famous blood ever. And I said to myself,
at least Syracuse avoided that. When Notre Dame got tackled

(35:59):
at the one and time ran out of the first quarter,
I said, well, at least it's gonna be thirty five
nothing and not forty two to nothing after the first quarter.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Yeah, I am about a morbid curiosity. Looked at the
live line. At one point it was minus sixty three.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Yeah, dude, I turned my phone off, so you got
a push with the first When the end of the
first quarter happened, I tweeted that out and I turned
my phone off. I can't not to hear stuff from
everybody else going, wow, are you watching this?

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
I do not need you to tell me how deep
the ocean is. I know what's going on. I'm seeing
it's in front of me.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
But that's that's where you gotta have your pre written,
you know, thousand words on how miserable is your life
that you're taking time to send me this note when
you know my team sucks.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
I mean, right, Hey, Jase is having a craptastic day.
Let me just make sure he's having a worse one
by sending him a text. Hey, how's it going. You're
watching the game? Yes, I'm watching the game. We stink.
I don't know. Maybe we were probably good not giving
fran Brown a contract extension, because I don't know what
the hell he's done the last eight weeks. I really don't.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
There's a lot of coaches out there looking for employment.
A lot of guys been in the firing line, coordinators,
head coaches, you name it, the carousels alive and working.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
So who knows. Well, listen, you bring that up, right,
you bring up And we had two coordinators that were
fired today in the NFL. Chip Kelly relieved of his
duties as Raiders offensive coordinator. They paid after eleven games,
they fired him. They paid him six million dollars a
year to get him out of Ohio State. And already
the Chip Kelly era is done.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
I went say one of the greatest moves of all time.
He got six million dollars to probably just throw pencils
up in his ceiling like he was David Letterman.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
He didn't seem to care. Hey, how you gotta win?

Speaker 2 (37:47):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
He didn't seem like he was too broken up about
gotta win.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
What are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (37:52):
I mean, i'd say it's embarrassing, but it's the Raiders.
What else do you expect embarrassing goes to the territory.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Now you got Gino flipping off fans, and you know
he got chesty after last week and this Like I'm
Chip Kelly, I'm going all after hitting you know how
many hours he spent at the facility. Nothing, I'll tell you,
Chip Kelly. Look, the Raiders are there great Quinn Essentially,
they are great for we get players that are past
their prime, right, that's who they've always done. And sometimes

(38:19):
they used to be able to catch lightning at a
bottle and go, Look we got a guy who's who
you know, everybody has cast him aside, and look, he
could be a star for us for three years. It's
how he won super Bowls in the seventies, right in
the eighties. But like Chip Kelly is like the latest example,
he's ten years past his prime. He was like a
guy you needed to get, Like in the mid two
twenty ten's when he became when he's the head coach

(38:39):
of the Eagles, he was being like, he's like ten
years past his prime. He was great in college last year.
But clearly Ohio State's offense is great no matter who's
calling the plays.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
Like, but like Chip bringing Chip Kelly and it's like
you're ten years out of date with that, man. I mean,
I get that you're in tune with who you are
as the optics for with the Raiders bringing in people
you know years after after they were good. But wow, man, coaches,
I didn't think that would happen.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Yeah, Julian Sayin currently plus three eighties, second in Heisman
odds right now, Mine Mendoza ahead of your guy, Jeremiah
Love at five to one. But yeah, the Raiders averaging
fifteen points per game right down there with the noll
In Saints. Even the Titans have averaged slightly higher a
scochi higher point per game total than these Raiders. Should

(39:28):
Chip Kelly have just held the door for Pete Carroll
to clear out his office while he was at it, Man,
not your time's up too, I think Pete's got another year.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
I mean, maybe not more than that. I think Pete's
probably got another year being with a new quarterback. Most
likely you know who doesn't have another year as everybody
in New York. That's fair. That's the other thing today,
Right when you saw Shane Bowen get fired Giants defensive
coordinator who presided over yet another collapse, Right, Mike Kafka
trying to show that, Hey, I can be the guy here.
How look, I'm making a big move. I'm getting rid

(39:58):
of my defensive coordinator so i can win the last
six games and be the new head coach. Not happening, right,
Everybody's gonna be new in New York next year, and
it's gonna be the opening of the offseason. You have
the best chance to succeed. You have the talent, and
you have an owner's who will give you fair patience
to get it done. Look how long they stuck with
Brian Dable Giants. Is gonna be the best opening in

(40:18):
all of the NFL.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
The end of this year, you got my league neighbors
tweeting and deleting, I mean, like all this great stuff
out there.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Yeah, telling you man, that's what happens you get fight.
One door closes and another one.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
That's a new bit tweeting and deleting. We say something
absolutely outrageous and then delete it and see how viral
it goes.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
Everybody on this Giants coaching staff is done do. Everybody
has done. No one is coming back. Everybody's jamis wants
to be a tight end. So like we got more man,
we got chaos, let's go. Coming up next, we get
into the biggest upset, come from behind win of the
weekend and what it means for both teams. Keep it
right here, the game of the week. We break it

(40:57):
down next, Jason and Mike, this is Fox Sports Radio. Hey,
I feel like it's okay. I can get ahead on
other things. I can get ahead on work for the week,
I get ahead on laundry, I could do whatever I
want to do. When it's a standalone game and it
stakes out, it's kind of tough.

Speaker 3 (41:10):
No, it's a tough one, but it does run a record.
And I ran this up by the guys because they
showed the graphic. This is now seventy three straight games
that the Panthers have lost when trailing by seven or
more going in the fourth quarter. Seventy two straight. I
want to know who's for seventy three tonight?

Speaker 1 (41:27):
Who thought it was a great idea week twelve to
put the Panthers on Monday Night foot. I mean they
were six and five, buddy, But you were lucky. You
were lucky, and they were a boring six and five, right,
not like the was gonna rise up, but like the
in the off season, like who says, you know, we
got to have back to back. They have the Jets
on it in like week eleven, and we gotta have
the Panthers on Week twelve. Yeah, we need to like

(41:48):
whoo who did that? Who thinks that's a good idea?

Speaker 3 (41:51):
Is there's one of those where you've got to risk
a grid. And while they don't state that they've got
a minimum of primetime games that teams have to be on,
that you're kind of foisting the Panthers on the nation
because you got four games that are isolated later.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
On this week.

Speaker 3 (42:07):
Right Like when we when we talk about the grid
and the way it works out, it's like, all right,
well we got them, so we can't have them back
on Thursday and Friday. So that's taking eight teams off
the board right away. And then you start moving from there.
But yeah, Panthers in prime time. At least we got
to see Tenorrow and McMillan find a touchdown after Bryce
Young had what twenty eight yards after the first half.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
I mean, it's gotta be easy, Like AI can do
the schedule now in a second. Oh, okay, we have
too many teams here. Okay, we'll do this. We'll do this,
and really you can figure this out. Hey, AI put
the good teams in the best Okay, great, we're gonna
have this team. We're not gonna have the New York
Jets play week eleve. We're got the Jets play opening
week on Thursday night to get them out of the
way while there's all kinds of excitement. That's what we're

(42:50):
gonna do. I be really with the way the advances
technology now, like you could have the schedule done in
like four minutes.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
You can probably do a bunch of that, right is
the mileage and trying to equalize that and go on
down the line. Yeah, I'm sure, I'm sure you could
do that. I mean it would cost some people their
jobs that probably get some pretty good perks with the NFL,
so I think they'd be a little pissed off.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
Well this game, right, Okay, so despite the fact you
had the Panthers playing on Monday Night football, Okay, great,
the Niners go to seven and four, and not only
am I not believing in the Niners, they're starting to
it's starting to piss me off that they're these wins
and how good that the Niners aren't any good the Niners.
And this in a year where no NFL team outside

(43:37):
of the Rams has shown that we're really really good
and we can we're trustworthy every week. Like the Niners
and the Steelers, these teams are not good. The Niners
are not good, man, They're just not They're not. Yes,
they're seven and four, and I look at their upcoming
schedule and I go, great, they're gonna win a couple
more games, or they're gonna think they're really good. Boy,
that's great. Right, Like they've beaten the Saints, they've beaten Arizona,

(43:59):
they lost Jacksonville. Right, they beat the Rams. Okay, that's great,
but they've been hanging their whole season on beating the Rams,
right they you know, they beat the Giants, they beat
the Cardinals twice. They're just not good man, and and
they get the Browns coming up in Tennessee. The next day.
They're up to eight wins.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
I mean, that's all that matters. This is no, it's
not you can beatos on your schedule. N circumstance dictates that.
You know, folks killed Brady. It's like they went one
titles no on the backs of your crappy team.

Speaker 1 (44:29):
I want people to do the right thing and say, hey,
the San Francisco forty nine ers eight and four, but
who are not really that good? Yeah, but we can't
say everybody stinks. That's how you have to say about
the Niners, because they're not. You could sell other teams
being better, but the Niners been overrated from the beginning.
But the blood of those.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
Other teams with better records you can't sell. Right, trying
to talk about the Patriots. What's the winning percentage of
the teams at three sixty? All those teams stink? Oh right, den,
I mean they're they're not exact. Sean Payton may come
and fight me. I don't care. They've won games. Laid
my Bears. They win another one.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Come on. The Bears are exciting, man, The Bears. Every winning.

Speaker 3 (45:12):
There's good and exciting Okay, exciting nuts, doesn't it taking off?

Speaker 1 (45:20):
Tell me, don't tell me you're pissed off and you're
in first place. I am no, And you're just inferring
based on me, trying to get loud the effect they're making.
You're making up. You're used to. Here's why I know
what's happening. You're used to this time every year, cutting
bait on the Bears and understanding that boy, they're terrible.

(45:41):
This is not our year and it's never gonna turn around.
So here you are a very familiar part of the calendar,
getting close to Thanksgiving. It's time to really complain about
the Bear season and what's next. And we fire eber Flus,
we fire Lovey. But I mean understand, buddy, you're eight
and three, You're in first place in the NFC.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Nor're gonna be the number one seed after they beat
Philly on progeting mine. I'm all about positivity, the year
of living dangerously, the oddity of possession to possession. Look,
you had some defensive breakdowns by the Steelers that were
absolutely unconscionable. The fact that DJ Moore was what that
wide open uh across the middle. You can see Caleb Blake.

(46:19):
Is that Am I seeing this right? Anybody want to
give me a second opinion? Is this actually happening downfield?

Speaker 4 (46:26):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (46:26):
Now that that you know TJ. Watt play, we'd love
to forget that along the way. But you know, when
you when you get down to it, Yeah, it's exciting.
I'm counting all those wins and I'm celebrating every one
of them, and that's all we should do every day.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
But you were upset right away, you you default was
not upset. Yes, you were tried me nuts. And look
at this. They're eight and three, they're winning games. They're
winning games.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
I'd like that, but I'd like to have a win
that for you know, is a pillar to post kind
of win once in a while.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
Buddy, just take a win. Okay, it's the bar, it's
the bit, I take a wind. No matter how they
want a gift rapid for me. Just take the wins. Man.
You're not at the time for style. You don't need style.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
This is not college where we got to go to
the pollsters and have some knucklehead get in front of
the podium. They had to head win count. Yeah, maybe
not this week. You know that kind of thing, you
know when we talk about Notre Dame in Miami and
all those fun little permutations and the voting, and we'll
get the latest iteration, the next iteration tomorrow. No, no, no,
I'm celebrating the bears wins. No, this is rare, man,

(47:30):
you're defaulting to be in I'm just angry in general.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
No, the Bears are better than the Night look the
Night of the Night. They're just not good, right. They
got Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Good.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Yes, there's a lot of hills, Yes that yeah, that's great.
And Christian McCaffrey is a great player. The Niners are
not a good football team. They're not good. They have
they're still third in the division. You know, they they
should be behind the Cardinals, but the Cardinals and the
Cardinals are terrible.

Speaker 3 (47:54):
So let's go let's go break down their late game performances.

Speaker 1 (47:57):
Shall and the Niners go win the next two. They're
gonna bet they're gonna win two more games and have
ten wins, because I mean, really, it's it's hard to
sit here and look at the Niners ago. Yeah, they're
really really good. At least the Bears, at least the
Steelers are showing. Yeah, We're really not that good. I
know you thought we were really not that good. We're
giving away this division to the Baltimore Ravens. Okay, just
so you know, that's six and five.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
I was really sad to not see Aaron Rodgers out there,
just as a football fan and with the history. Come on,
nobody's ever said that.

Speaker 1 (48:25):
No, no, no, you wanted to see You wanted to
see Bears owner Aaron Rodgers out there so you can
beat him and say you no longer own the Bears.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
No, but like this was exciting because you also beat
these Steelers with six starters on your defense missing. They
didn't play a single starting linebacker all out, so that was.

Speaker 1 (48:43):
Kind of fun. But Mason Rudolph doesn't bring the same juice.

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Again, take the w but you would have liked your
guys chasing Aaron Rodgers around that five feet that he
can move.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
Buddy, why does it matter you won the game? Why
are you complaining about winning the game. Nobody's complaining about
winning the game. I just thought, see what Rogers I
am from Mason rude I am talking from holy bully
pulpit of a Fox Sports radio host. As a guy
that watches a lot of football.

Speaker 3 (49:10):
I would rather see Aaron Rodgers in a diminished capacity
than Mason Rudolph on the field. Okay, as a Bears fan,
bring me whoever and let me attack. I think I
think the two Mike Harmon's are getting a little confused
that I think you. I think your your brain is
split into two's missing right now. He wants to go

(49:31):
back to the old way as it sounds.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Like he's having conversation with himself about a host, and
I'm a I'm a Bears fan, a host of the
Bears fan.

Speaker 3 (49:38):
It did just be there's some things that serve my
fan man, other things that serve us from a radio perspective.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Just be happy, man, It won it's it, it's all.
It's all good. You don't go. It's a holiday week.
I went and so wicked.

Speaker 3 (49:52):
Drake a lot of Coca Cola late at night to
keep me awake to watch That's good.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
That was good. Don't want to fall asleep like it
didn't top Gun Maverick when we all went, yeah, I
know you want you want to be boring? What do
you want? We were, what did you want us to
do with the movie? Ty Shirt was yelling every five minutes.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
Of the movie when we went to go see I
give you a Sharby mustache.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
We should we really should have. That really would have
been nice. He looked like Tom Selleck, like a blondear.
So we're also talking about this thing, and it's like,
that was what four years ago at this point, Well,
that's the last time we went to because you can't
go out at night. You're gonna fall asleep. Why would
why would he bring you to a movie? We're just
gonna fall asleep at eleven o'clock.

Speaker 3 (50:29):
Was a fan of the most expensive naps possible. I've
got my uh my subscription, so that's that cuts that
cost down and immeasurably.

Speaker 1 (50:41):
Jason Mike.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
Yeah, because ever since Benny he has a bedtime.

Speaker 2 (50:45):
Now.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
No, now you got Benny and Bailey. I got two
dogs out. Yeah, I got Bailey and.

Speaker 3 (50:49):
Benny superstar, didn't you?

Speaker 1 (50:54):
Yeah? Yeah? Way do you say I put I put
the head on when I walk around the house. Whoa, whoa.
We just got into a whole other uh stuff right there.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (51:08):
I don't We rescued another multipoo and it came with them.

Speaker 3 (51:13):
Yeah, I think I think that's.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
Multipo rescue when when you do you take you take
a dog from a situation that needs to needs a
better situation for whatever reason. That's what I mean.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
Do you consider a rescue when you go and buy
a big Mac? Is that rescuing?

Speaker 1 (51:30):
I'm rescuing my uh my appetite at that point. I
need a big Mac. I need a big Mac. No, tych,
It wasn't like he was like Alan Rickman at the
end of Diehard holding on to the you know, the
Bonnie Badelia's wristwatch, and I had to grab him. But sorry, spoiler, No,
that's that's that's kind of what I was eleven thirteen
Eastern Spoiled Duck. Bonnie Bedelia makes a ref Bonnie. Yeah, now, look,

(51:54):
you wanted to talk about fun, Okay, because clearly Harmon
we I wanted to talk about the Bears being fun.
Harmon can't do. I want to find a way to
come play. The Cowboys win yesterday and it's a great
comeback over the Eagles, and look I said on Friday,
Eagle's gonna win this game by forty and it looked
like they were going to and then they just simply forgot.
They stopped playing right. Jason Lockin Forrest said, it looked

(52:15):
like it was too easy for them and they kind
of just mailed it in and the Cowboys came back
and never quit and it was fun. Dallas is just
such a fun team to watch this year because their
offense is uncoverable. Last week when the Texans won on
Thursday night, we said, you know what the Texans and
Jay Glazer to stopped by all it said, you know what,

(52:36):
the Texans are the team in the AFC nobody wants
to play because defensively, it's the best defense in the AFC.
Them and the Bear and the and the Broncos at
the top. Nobody wants to play the Texans rest of
the way because their defense is that good. In the NFC,
Dallas has become that team that nobody wants to play
because the offense is uncoverable. They have stepped up in
a large with their defenses better. Right, Quentin Williams had

(52:58):
what eight hurries uh yesterday against Jalen Hurts. He's been
terrific since they got him from the Jets. There's times
George Pickens looks like he's the best wide receiver in
the NFL. Like I really it blows me away that
this was the same guy I've been watching in Pittsburgh
under achieve for the last couple of years, because I mean,
there's times where it looks like he and not Jackson
Smith and jigb is the best wide receiver in the

(53:19):
NFL because he's unstoppable and uncoverable. Pickens looks that good sometimes.
The Cowboys are just fun and defensively, nobody wants play
the Texans in the AFC. Offensively, that's who the Cowboys are.
Nobody wants to play them in the NFC. The rest
of the way, they are that dangerous no matter what
the deficit is, they can come back on you. They're dangerous,
they're fun. They're just a fun team to watch.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Well, especially after being spotted. You know, the Eagles up
twenty one nothing and it's like, all right, just go
play football. I guess you loosen up Ceedee Lamb with
a big drop and then doesn't doctor reporters, but he
won't get the aj Brown treatment because they won and
dramatic come back fashion and everybody's more enamored with what

(54:02):
George Pickens is doing because it's also another opportunity to
laugh at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Uh, and all of the
people that have left their building and gone on to
good things.

Speaker 6 (54:11):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (54:11):
So there there's a bit of that. But yeah, the
defense once once things normalized, you know, we've seen some
good things the last couple of weeks. You hang a
little bit of you know, the big flake of what
himalayan pink Himalayan salt? Is that, right, Alex?

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Is that what I want to do?

Speaker 3 (54:29):
The pink Himalayan salt?

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (54:30):
When it comes to playing the Raiders, because what's that word?
They stink. So it was good to see them rise
up for a half plus against what is a pretty
good offense but a fits and start, stops and starts
and stops whatever you want to say with the Eagles, like,
we've not seen that level of consistency. It's winning football,

(54:51):
but uh, they move forward for the for Dak Prescott
and company. Yeah, it's a lot of fun, certainly for
your fantasy team.

Speaker 1 (54:58):
Yeah like that. Nobody wants to play them. The offense
is just too red hot.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
Man.

Speaker 1 (55:03):
It's fun and they're fun and embrace the fun.
