know why I'm getting excited because the Mets are just
gonna take it down to the final game and then
break everybody's hearts, because that's how the Mets do it.
I would rather than Met just lose the first four
games of the week, go into the weekend with no shot.

all the way down to the final game on Sunday.
They're gonna not get in and it's gonna be another

time of all Miami is the Mets House of horrors,
and here's another time. The last season, last series of
the season, the Marlins knocked the Mets out of the playoffs.
Will have nothing to play for like I knew this
is how it's gonna end. I mean, I know it's
like you know, and like I'm watching I'm watching a movie.
There's got a lot of twists and turns, and I go, no,
I think I know this is gonna end. It's gonna

disappoint me. Oh no, no, maybe you've got no no,
but ended just how I thought it was gonna And
you know what, I'm disappointed.

The Marlins have more World Series titles in our lifetimes
than either of our teams.

They made the playoffs four times. Of Marlins they've won
the World Series to four times they've made the playoffs
and they've won the World Series.

Boy, well, I gotta say this. There is there is
another group fan group that is sharing my pain tonight
outside of Major League Baseball.

Yeah, uh, there is another fan Because we are on
the verge of a huge top twenty five upset in
college football right now, two forty three to go in
the fourth quarter, Virginia has just picked off Florida State
in the red zone Florida State was driving from it

would have been a game tying touchdowns. A deep drive
to the left side of the field by Costiganos h
decent for that. Sent ome On. He's got a rushing
touchdown and a deep throat on left. That's I want
to apologize. Uh, Virginia three and one in the ACC
two and a half minutes away from the big upset
(04:55):
over the eighth rank Florida State Seminoles. And I guess
part of this is my fault because what was week
two when I said Florida State's back, and oh they're back,
you just wanted to keep.

Yelling Little Tommy was gonna lead them to the promised Land.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
You could see the fans are ready to storm the
field in Virginia. It's a They've all come all the
way down to the to the sides of the end zone.
So they're gonna run on this field as soon as
it is humanly possible. Now there is time left. There
is two and a half minutes left to go. Florida
State does have all three timeouts, and it is a
high scoring game, so it's not like, you know, they're

having a trouble moving the football. But this could be
a huge upset in college football because look, and let's
be honest, this would it would suck for Florida State, right,
But this is when you talk about the bigger picture
for college football. This is the kind of season the
ACC had in mind with how are we gonna get
(05:48):
back to being the number three conference in college football
or maybe on one that can compete with the Big
Ten in the SEC? Right, because look, you look at
the top twenty five three teams are from the Big Ten.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Or the SEC.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Right, you have a couple of teams for the ACC.
The ACC has really struggled in recent years to stay relevant, right,
and the Big Ten of the SEC had just roared ahead.
And for a long time, well, hey, the ACC was
kept alive by Clemson in the late teens. Clemson, Miami,
Florida State have always been the royalty. But then there
was rumors they wanted to leave a few years ago.
And now Clemson is down. But you see the resurgence,
(06:24):
and it's a large conference and it's not just a
team like Syracuse and fran Brown getting all kinds of
run in the media. The last couple weeks with the
upset of Clemson in Death Valley, of Virginia, who is
could be on the verge of going to four and
one tonight. Suddenly the depth of the ACC is really good.
And this is exactly what they need because quite honestly,
they want to stay a conference, right, I mean you
(06:45):
be you want to stay that's the thing. You want
to stay a conference. You don't want to be shuttled
into obscurity like the Big Twelve. You're like, yeah, we'll
take one team from the Big twelve in the playoff
that you're looking to say, Hey, we want to see
that the big table. As college football continues to evolve,
and clearly it's big ten. You big ten in SEC,
don't be surprised if in a year or two years
it's gonna be we're forming our own super league, the

o kuful super League from ted last. We're forming our
own super league. All own television contracts, our own money,
everything is out. We're gonna do this. And the AEC
is like, hey, wait a minute, we're pretty good conference.
We gota, we got a lot of history here, we
got some teams, all right. You have Miami, who's a
top team this year. They're better than they were a
year ago. Carson Beck has been fantastic. You have a
few teams now dotting the top to top twenty five,
(07:26):
but you have depth, and that middle of the pack
is starting to rise up a little bit, those Syracuses,
Virginia's and Dukes and even North Carolina depending on how
the rest of the season goes with Bill Belichick, like,
you're seeing some of those teams start to take a
little step up now where the ACC is is kind
of coming back to the land of prosperity was at
and they need to this year because I'm telling you
(07:46):
another year and the big ten of the SEC are
gonna go. Don't we carry in these dead beats around
for you Dirk Bags have been in third place for
five years. What are we carrying you guys around for?
We're doing our own thing.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Well, we've already seen the proposed lawsuits and and whispers
of secession and all of those things for the last
couple of years. Hey, we want a larger piece of
the pie, Florida state being one of the squads leading
that charge. So yeah, it's that inevitability, right. We watched
the crumbling of the PAC twelve and we've watched all
this realignment. I remember when the big ten was actually
(08:19):
ten teams, and then they said, hey, Penn State would
be fun to add. And then it just kept going
and it was the next annexation. Hey you want to
jump on board here, and then you know, with the
blood in the water, it became the USC and UCLA.
We'll get to the whining of Lincoln Riley or is
he cagy like a fox coming up in a little bit,
(08:41):
but like a fox like.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
O for the Simpson where he kept saying like a fox.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Florida's State was a seven point road favorite, and this
one you had an over under a fifty one and
a half that they blew through dice and easy. A
reminder for all those fans on the sideline, it's fine
if you storm the field, second offense one hundred thousand,
then it gets to two hundred thousand.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Dude, they're gonna make a lot of money in the
next ten minutes if they hold onto this.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
You used to make a giant cage over the top.

They keep showing, they keep showing all the fans coming
down the hill ready to get up.

It'd be funny if it was like the old NWA
and it's like, oh, it's war games, like it's descending
from the ceiling to the giant cage and that's where
come down over the football field.

It's like the Jets game Sunday when Aaron glenn is
dancing on the kick on the block the field goal return. Meanwhile,
there's a minute and a half left to go and
Baker Mayfield's getting the football like there's still two there's
over two minutes left to go. To give you an
update on this game really quick, because I got a
big hot take for you from you mentioned USC a
couple of seconds ago. So Virginia ran the ball three times,
(09:50):
made Florida State use all their timeouts, and so there's
two eighteen left to go. Florida State has the football,
plenty of time to get down the field for could
be a game time or go ahead touch and if
they decide to go for two thirty five twenty eight
taking over first and ten from their own thirty three
yard line, So still lots of time for the Seminoles
(10:10):
to get back and tie this game. Potentially we could
be looking at overtime.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Chandler Moore is twenty five to thirty two in the
game from Virginia two twenty three, two touchdowns, two picks
twenty five and thirty two, and they say, you know what,
let's just run the ball three times, so only twenty second.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
You don't have a scripted.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Play that you can do a quick easy throw out
to the side, maybe get a little bit of yack,
find a first down there. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Two minute awards and bad. It was a deep scrambled
left by Costeanos. Sorry, I he's rolling off. He had
to scramble to midfield. Gives Florida State first down from midfield.
We're at the two minute warnings. We'll have more on
Florida State Virginia coming up in a few minutes. Look,
this is at least would be the first big upset
what could be big upset weekend? Right, eighth rank Florida

State in big time trouble. But they have the football
they are driving against Virginia. Now you mentioned USC and
I gotta be honest with you. Right, there's there's you know,
four or five big games tomorrow. We'll look will preview
give you our picks for Oregon, Penn State, Alabama, Georgia.
But I'll tell you I know it lost a little
bit of luster last week because of the result last
week but USC in Illinois is a huge game because

I've told you now from the beginning of the season, hey,
maybe USC is back, right, And with every week I
start thinking, no, they're back, they're back, They're back, They're back,
and you know it's a bit, you know, to stay
undefeated with Illinois tomorrow, then another game that they have
Michigan in a couple of weeks coming up, Like, USC
has been terrific, and that's the thing I'm so in
(11:45):
that USC is back, right. Jade Maiva has been fantastic, right,
so good that he's gonna if he continues on this path,
he's gonna be at the top of the Heisman race
soon because he has been doing everything that us he
could possibly Now you want to see him continue to
do it against good competition now that the games are
just getting a little bit bigger as each week goes on.
(12:06):
And I get that for him. But while I'll tell
you what he's getting in the Heisman race really really soon.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
He is currently tied for fifth.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
I'll tell you he's he's played so well so far
and maybe this is exactly what USC needed was was, Hey,
we are a team that is balanced, They have no
drama there's no real expectations, Like right now, this looks
like the best, most balanced team Lincoln Riley has had
because watching their defense fly around and their defensive line
(12:36):
makes all kinds of big plays, like they play loose,
they play make big plays, they play excited. It's a
it's a happy brand of football, Like I feel like
football is fun for USCO or maybe the last few years,
the couple of years with Caleb Williams and moving on,
it hadn't been fun and we're trying to figure things
out and it didn't work, and are we buying out
Lincoln Riley? But you know, a couple of years have
(12:58):
gone by and this is again, and this looks like
the best usc team that Lincoln Riley has had. Not
he had more top heavy talent when he first came in,
obviously bringing people in with the portal and Williams coming
with him from Oklahoma. But this looks like it's the
best team. And I really I watch that defensive line
play and they are just wrecking havoc all the time
(13:19):
on their opponents, Like I don't, I don't, you know, look,
we want to see it a better teams, but they
have been unstoppable. So far and they are so much
fun to watch. And really, you know, if I had
to state plant my flag and say, hey, which one
of these teams that you know has been on rough
times the last few years, that's been a traditional power
is back. I'll give you USC on this man, the
USC big tomorrow to win and suddenly beginning of next
(13:40):
week it's oh wait, wait a minute, now, let's not
forget about USC. Here in the Big ten race telling
you watch.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Yeah, I think they lay that you laid the seven
and it's an easy, easy run here. Alt Meyer's been
good with his touchdown interception ratio great, but that offensive
line is terrible. Uh, USC defense, they're up at the
top of the Big ten sacks, so long day for
him to come. They haven't been able to run the
game and run the ball. They had some early success,
(14:06):
but I mean that was the tune up week one.
Otherwise it's been a bit of a difficult role there.
When you look at the USC offense, Mayava is at
seventy percent plus completion. You've got a good rushing attack. Oh,
by the way, Xavier White is out for the line.
I secondary, so opportunity to our Exavier Scott. I'm sorry,
(14:28):
opportunity to go and pick apart the secondary a bit.
And coming off of that Indiana loss man, I don't
know how quickly Brett Beilamo is able to get him regrouped.
And I know a lot was made of Lincoln Riley.
And look at him whining about the schedule. You knew
what you got into. It's like, yeah, this is the Hey,
you're giving us the most dis advantageous stuff. So when
(14:51):
we roll up seventy points, make sure we get our love.
That's all he's doing here, right, He's basically doing what
a lot of tech companies did back in the day.

I don't know.

Earnings might be you know, the sandbagging, and then all
of a sudden you're in front of you know, your
earnings call. It's like, hey, you know what we were
at a dollar thirty four share profit EBITDA and then
the stock surges in post trading. So that's kind of
what Lincoln Riley's working at here. Expectations, Hey, maybe we
(15:22):
get back to eight wins. Maybe hey, this is great,
we're growing. No no, no, Now they lay the wood to
Illinois on the road last week. The latest game on
the schedule this week, the earliest game on the schedule.
It doesn't matter. They've got too much talent for this
Illinois squad. Yeah, I'll tell you, man, I mean USC
coming back. Look all these teams this year, seeing them
(15:44):
saying book they're back. This is great for college football, right, USC, Miami,
Florida State, Like, yeah, it almost makes up for arch
Manning not being any good. Oh we got a five styleland.

Yeah, you sneak that one in there, and.

You like what I used to tell a joke to
my grandfather. Well, I oh I got that.

pick up your line and run and then you give
me the little extra. Hey, here's a bat to arch
Manning while I'm finishing this point. But yeah, I mean,
storylines emerging. USC being good again is good for the game.
So you know, we especially here on the West coast,
man not now, especially in LA with a couple of

high achieving NFL squads and the Dodgers that and to
on forever, not to mention add the chaos of the
Lakers and there were raising their hand going hey we're
over here.

UCLA was a dumpster fire and they got rid of
their coach. But we're doing okay.

to the fourth quarter between number eight Florida State and Virginia.
This game is headed to overtime. On fourth down, Thomas
Castellanos rolls out away from his power, He rolls left
and just throws to the only receiver he could possibly find,
(19:24):
who makes a diving catch in the end zone. It
is upheld on review, so it is thirty five thirty
five as we head to overtime. Right now, Pittman, it
looked like the ball moved a little bit in his
hands when he got it, but it was really tough
to tell if it hit the ground. It was one
of those how they called it on the field was
going to be how it finished. And I have no
(19:45):
problem with a touchdown. Florida State Virginia now thirty five
to thirty five going.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Overtime, absolute chaos, Randy Pittman Junior to the house and
then the ensuing interception. We get free football on.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
A Friday night, you know, and this one thing before
we get to the play of the day, like this
is my pet peeve for basically, you know, I don't
know since I was old enough to know this play,
like when I started playing football and understood things right.
So it's fourth down and Castellanos is flushed out and
he's rolling away from his power rights, going away from
(20:19):
his body. Once you get past the hash marks, you know,
there's only one receiver he can throw the football to
who's being single covered. There's only one guy who's on
that side of the field, in the corner. And for
forty years I've seen plays like this happen and the
safety still just stand in the middle of the field
guarding grass instead of knowing, Oh, I see this play.
(20:42):
I see the quarterback. He can only throw it one place.
He's gonna get drilled by a difficult He's not gonna
be able to stop and turn and run back around
and throw. That's not gonna happen. He I gotta get
to this receiver to break the play up, but instead
I watch the safety just stand there like, okay, case
somebody runs in my zone. And so as a result,
Castellano is able to uh you know, with one on
(21:02):
one coverage. Pittman comes back to the ball, makes the catch,
and again I'm watching the play going. I'm watching the
safety stand there. Man, I'm just watching him stand there
and go who else is he gonna throw the football to?
You're just standing there, like I have to guard the ground,
so he's not there's you got. I mean, this is
like when I talk about ball skills for DB's not
one of my pet peeves that that dbs don't have
ball skills that they nearly should. Is that the field
(21:24):
awareness that that player should have at this level to
know at this point, okay, I recognize this play. I
recognize what the quarterback is doing. I recognize he's got
no way out, and I'm going to make sure that
that the one place, what the one thing he can
do he can't do, and this is going to be
an incomplete pass. I mean, I it baffles me that
you see it that I see plays like that sometime
(21:45):
where yeah, I get that, when when the when when
the play is drawn up and everybody's got their responsibilities.
But when you see the play, when everything goes to
hell and here's a quarterback, I can throw the ball
to one guy. If you're close to that guy, get there,
get there and try to break the play up. I
just what the play it said. I can't believe that
that I'm watching the safety just stand there and just,
you know, kind of trot over as the playoff.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Yeah, I mean he eventually got back over there after
the ball was complete.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
So oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I was.

I was in the neighborhood right, the old baseball neighborhood
play and that's Hey, look man, I was closing fast.

it was okay, I'll play designated hitter. Hey, can you
play first base? No, not gonna do that. They traded
the guy at the deadline, and look, the Giants had
an little run until they ran out of gas. Right,

it was a nice run for the Giants. But the
Red Sox, you talk about what was additioned by subtraction.
All of a sudden, they traded their most talented player, right, Devinson,
their most talented player, and they were better without him.
And they go on this huge run and they're sixteen
games over five hundred and they're going to the playoffs.

And it really is something that a team can say.
And this is why I so why can't my team
ever do something like this, like when you can trade
away your best player and realize that's the best thing

hold the tiebreaker over the Mets in case they finished tied.

After Sunday, Cincinnati was a three to one winner at Milwaukee,
Miami six to two over the Mets with six runs
in the fifth inning. By the way, as far as Milwaukee,
they could have clinched the one seed in the National
League with a win or with the Phillies lost tonight,
and neither of those things happened. Philadelphia and Aaron Nola
beat Minnesota three to one, tie for first in the

AL Central with Cleveland and Detroit. The Cleveland Guardians hold
the tiebreaker, having won the season series. Cleveland did lose
at home seven to three to Texas tonight. Rangers got
four runs in the top of the first Detroit loss,
giving up a run on the seventh, a run on
the eighth, and one in the bottom of the ninth
at Boston four to three, Red Sox the final. That's
how Boston clinched a postseason birth With that win. In

the AL, still a tie for first with the Blue
Jays and the Yankees, Toronto holds the tiebreaker. Toronto and

because again, outside of Tucker Craft, who's your go to
guy in that receiving cord, there's a lot of them,
but you don't have a go to in terms of
creating that separation. So perhaps that's where you get a
little bit of love. But they still can't stop the run,
which means Josh Jacobs will get his You work off

think I like the Cowboys getting the six and a half.
I really like if it was on the other side,
so maybe you tease it the other way. But I
think the Packers getting their win, and then we get

He bobbled it for ten yards. I mean, this is

into the end zone. It is picked off. The ball
no sooner settles in the Virginia DB's hands, and I
still don't even know who caught it because fans stormed
the field immediately is so much. So I am pretty sure.

I am pretty sure ESPN they're showing a they just
showed a security guy kind of escorting Thomas Castellanos off
the field, right like you know, you want to make
sure the players are safe. And I'm pretty sure I
saw a Virginia fan run right in front of him, stop, turn,

swear to god, I just saw that.

college football right now, two forty three to go in
the fourth quarter, Virginia has just picked off Florida State
in the red zone Florida State was driving from it

would have been a game tying touchdowns. A deep drive
to the left side of the field by Costiganos h
decent for that. Sent ome On. He's got a rushing
touchdown and a deep throat on left. That's I want
to apologize. Uh, Virginia three and one in the ACC
two and a half minutes away from the big upset

over the eighth rank Florida State Seminoles. And I guess
part of this is my fault because what was week
two when I said Florida State's back, and oh they're back,
you just wanted to keep.

Yelling Little Tommy was gonna lead them to the promised Land.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
You could see the fans are ready to storm the
field in Virginia. It's a They've all come all the
way down to the to the sides of the end zone.
So they're gonna run on this field as soon as
it is humanly possible. Now there is time left. There
is two and a half minutes left to go. Florida
State does have all three timeouts, and it is a
high scoring game, so it's not like, you know, they're
(05:27):
having a trouble moving the football. But this could be
a huge upset in college football because look, and let's
be honest, this would it would suck for Florida State, right,
But this is when you talk about the bigger picture
for college football. This is the kind of season the
ACC had in mind with how are we gonna get
(05:48):
back to being the number three conference in college football
or maybe on one that can compete with the Big
Ten in the SEC? Right, because look, you look at
the top twenty five three teams are from the Big Ten.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Or the SEC.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Right, you have a couple of teams for the ACC.
The ACC has really struggled in recent years to stay relevant, right,
and the Big Ten of the SEC had just roared ahead.
And for a long time, well, hey, the ACC was
kept alive by Clemson in the late teens. Clemson, Miami,
Florida State have always been the royalty. But then there
was rumors they wanted to leave a few years ago.
And now Clemson is down. But you see the resurgence,
(06:24):
and it's a large conference and it's not just a
team like Syracuse and fran Brown getting all kinds of
run in the media. The last couple weeks with the
upset of Clemson in Death Valley, of Virginia, who is
could be on the verge of going to four and
one tonight. Suddenly the depth of the ACC is really good.
And this is exactly what they need because quite honestly,
they want to stay a conference, right, I mean you
(06:45):
be you want to stay that's the thing. You want
to stay a conference. You don't want to be shuttled
into obscurity like the Big Twelve. You're like, yeah, we'll
take one team from the Big twelve in the playoff
that you're looking to say, Hey, we want to see
that the big table. As college football continues to evolve,
and clearly it's big ten. You big ten in SEC,
don't be surprised if in a year or two years
it's gonna be we're forming our own super league, the
(07:06):
o kuful super League from ted last. We're forming our
own super league. All own television contracts, our own money,
everything is out. We're gonna do this. And the AEC
is like, hey, wait a minute, we're pretty good conference.
We gota, we got a lot of history here, we
got some teams, all right. You have Miami, who's a
top team this year. They're better than they were a
year ago. Carson Beck has been fantastic. You have a
few teams now dotting the top to top twenty five,
(07:26):
but you have depth, and that middle of the pack
is starting to rise up a little bit, those Syracuses,
Virginia's and Dukes and even North Carolina depending on how
the rest of the season goes with Bill Belichick, like,
you're seeing some of those teams start to take a
little step up now where the ACC is is kind
of coming back to the land of prosperity was at
and they need to this year because I'm telling you
(07:46):
another year and the big ten of the SEC are
gonna go. Don't we carry in these dead beats around
for you Dirk Bags have been in third place for
five years. What are we carrying you guys around for?
We're doing our own thing.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Well, we've already seen the proposed lawsuits and and whispers
of secession and all of those things for the last
couple of years. Hey, we want a larger piece of
the pie, Florida state being one of the squads leading
that charge. So yeah, it's that inevitability, right. We watched
the crumbling of the PAC twelve and we've watched all
this realignment. I remember when the big ten was actually
(08:19):
ten teams, and then they said, hey, Penn State would
be fun to add. And then it just kept going
and it was the next annexation. Hey you want to
jump on board here, and then you know, with the
blood in the water, it became the USC and UCLA.
We'll get to the whining of Lincoln Riley or is

he's gonna be at the top of the Heisman race
soon because he has been doing everything that us he

do it against good competition now that the games are

makes all kinds of big plays, like they play loose,
they play make big plays, they play excited. It's a
it's a happy brand of football, Like I feel like
football is fun for USCO or maybe the last few years,
the couple of years with Caleb Williams and moving on,
it hadn't been fun and we're trying to figure things
out and it didn't work, and are we buying out
Lincoln Riley? But you know, a couple of years have

gone by and this is again, and this looks like
the best usc team that Lincoln Riley has had. Not
he had more top heavy talent when he first came in,
obviously bringing people in with the portal and Williams coming
with him from Oklahoma. But this looks like it's the
best team. And I really I watch that defensive line
play and they are just wrecking havoc all the time

on their opponents, Like I don't, I don't, you know, look,
we want to see it a better teams, but they
have been unstoppable. So far and they are so much
fun to watch. And really, you know, if I had
to state plant my flag and say, hey, which one
of these teams that you know has been on rough
times the last few years, that's been a traditional power
is back. I'll give you USC on this man, the
USC big tomorrow to win and suddenly beginning of next

week it's oh wait, wait a minute, now, let's not
forget about USC. Here in the Big ten race telling
you watch.

Yeah, I think they lay that you laid the seven
and it's an easy, easy run here. Alt Meyer's been
good with his touchdown interception ratio great, but that offensive
line is terrible. Uh, USC defense, they're up at the
top of the Big ten sacks, so long day for

This game is headed to overtime. On fourth down, Thomas
Castellanos rolls out away from his power, He rolls left
and just throws to the only receiver he could possibly find,

who makes a diving catch in the end zone. It
is upheld on review, so it is thirty five thirty
five as we head to overtime. Right now, Pittman, it
looked like the ball moved a little bit in his
hands when he got it, but it was really tough
to tell if it hit the ground. It was one
of those how they called it on the field was
going to be how it finished. And I have no

problem with a touchdown. Florida State Virginia now thirty five
to thirty five going.

Overtime, absolute chaos, Randy Pittman Junior to the house and
then the ensuing interception. We get free football on.

A Friday night, you know, and this one thing before
we get to the play of the day, like this
is my pet peeve for basically, you know, I don't
know since I was old enough to know this play,
like when I started playing football and understood things right.
So it's fourth down and Castellanos is flushed out and
he's rolling away from his power rights, going away from

his body. Once you get past the hash marks, you know,
there's only one receiver he can throw the football to
who's being single covered. There's only one guy who's on
that side of the field, in the corner. And for
forty years I've seen plays like this happen and the
safety still just stand in the middle of the field
guarding grass instead of knowing, Oh, I see this play.
(20:42):
I see the quarterback. He can only throw it one place.
He's gonna get drilled by a difficult He's not gonna
be able to stop and turn and run back around
and throw. That's not gonna happen. He I gotta get
to this receiver to break the play up, but instead
I watch the safety just stand there like, okay, case
somebody runs in my zone. And so as a result,
Castellano is able to uh you know, with one on
(21:02):
one coverage. Pittman comes back to the ball, makes the catch,
and again I'm watching the play going. I'm watching the
safety stand there. Man, I'm just watching him stand there
and go who else is he gonna throw the football to?
You're just standing there, like I have to guard the ground,
so he's not there's you got. I mean, this is
like when I talk about ball skills for DB's not
one of my pet peeves that that dbs don't have
ball skills that they nearly should. Is that the field
(21:24):
awareness that that player should have at this level to
know at this point, okay, I recognize this play. I
recognize what the quarterback is doing. I recognize he's got
no way out, and I'm going to make sure that
that the one place, what the one thing he can
do he can't do, and this is going to be
an incomplete pass. I mean, I it baffles me that
you see it that I see plays like that sometime
(21:45):
where yeah, I get that, when when the when when
the play is drawn up and everybody's got their responsibilities.
But when you see the play, when everything goes to
hell and here's a quarterback, I can throw the ball
to one guy. If you're close to that guy, get there,
get there and try to break the play up. I
just what the play it said. I can't believe that
that I'm watching the safety just stand there and just,
you know, kind of trot over as the playoff.

Yeah, I mean he eventually got back over there after
the ball was complete.

So oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I was.

away your best player and realize that's the best thing

going to the playoffs and get a walk off triple

beat Minnesota three to one, tie for first in the

AL Central with Cleveland and Detroit. The Cleveland Guardians hold
the tiebreaker, having won the season series. Cleveland did lose

I think they can maybe keep it a little close

on a run and win this game. Dallas. It's simple.
They're not good. They're a bad football team. There's no
CD lamb. They're not going to be able to run
the football like they want to or sort of stop

know what he does in Dallas. It doesn't have to
be a playoff game for a perfect quarterback rating. He's
going to roll up another huge game. He'll go for

Jordan loves a better quarterback. It doesn't matter who's playing.
Don Hudson could be playing wide receiver for the Packers
and he's still gonna go for three hundred and three touchdowns.

I'd love to say this would be close, and maybe
in the first half a little bit, but green Bay
pulls away and they win this game big, and I'll
give you a big bull prediction. Mike Carmen. You ready
for this ball prediction? Yeah, let's go. Jerry Jones cancels

Tuesday because he's so upset after losing to Micah Parsons

and the Packers at home. He cancels his weekly interview,
his radio interview.

We do see for Dallas, they will get a little

Rumors of his demise were evidently greatly exaggerated as he
tried to lay it out and Diggs expecting to be

that's the case, then perhaps you have the puncher's chance

because again, outside of Tucker Craft, who's your go to
guy in that receiving cord, there's a lot of them,
but you don't have a go to in terms of
creating that separation. So perhaps that's where you get a
little bit of love. But they still can't stop the run,
which means Josh Jacobs will get his You work off

think I like the Cowboys getting the six and a half.
I really like if it was on the other side,
so maybe you tease it the other way. But I
think the Packers getting their win, and then we get
to wait with baited breath to see who shows up

Now we're gonna get to the next big game. However,
we have the news coming in right now. I told
you Virginia fans were raiding to storm on the field
as soon as possible. The touchdown to Florida State was
ruled incomplete, and it looked like a good call. Looked
like the receiver was still bobbling it going out of bounds.
He bobbled it for ten yards. I mean, this is

a catch he's got to make going across the goal line,
and he bobbles it for ten yards and winds up.
Called incomplete. On fourth and seven, Castellanos throws it deep
into the end zone. It is picked off. The ball
no sooner settles in the Virginia DB's hands, and I
still don't even know who caught it because fans stormed
the field immediately is so much. So I am pretty sure.

I am pretty sure ESPN they're showing a they just
showed a security guy kind of escorting Thomas Castellanos off
the field, right like you know, you want to make
sure the players are safe. And I'm pretty sure I
saw a Virginia fan run right in front of him, stop, turn,
give him the double bird, and then keep running. I

swear to god, I just saw that.

All right, So who pays the fifty thousand dollars fine?

I mean just watching this and it's Castellanos going off,
and I'm sitting there going, man, I hope he's okay,

fan just runs by and then realizes, oh I just
ran by Costelados, stopped double bird, and then runs keeps running.
I can't get over that. That's yeah.
