We got videos from last night up there, our Schooble
and Skeien's videos going up tonight as well. So starting
to get things going here on YouTube. Yeah, the latest
from yesterday was the job murder mystery who killed Nico

(01:10):
Harrison's employment? You think it was the Mavericks that fired
Nico Harrison, It was not find out on YouTube No
season two of a very special blossom. Uh, the game.
You had to go blossom on a very special blossom.

(01:32):
I hate doing that, but that's like the default one
when you think of a very very special episode. Hey,
we want to show you that this sitcom is going
to do something that's important. We're going to tackle a
very important world subject. How about you just make me laugh.
You're a sitcom? No no, Because the actors are really upset,
and the rangers have said, hey, my guy wants to
leave this show to go do serious movies, wants to

(01:55):
leave television behind, wants to show that he could actually act.
So how about we do a very special episode where
like one of his friends dies of a drug overdose,
or you know, he gets in a car accident and
someone is fooling around behind the wheel, or let's do
something like that so he can really just you know,
get his acting chops out there. But you don't see
what he does. Oh, that's on a very special episode

(02:15):
of nine O two one zero Ooh, Now you just
went down that whole Matthew Perry highway right there. Then
you got Gordon jump and of course Uncle Ned, Tom
Hanks hanging out with Alex p. Keaton. Yeah, I liked
Uncle Uncle. That was a great one, Uncle Ned. Yeah. Uh.

(02:35):
The game of the night in the NBA, well that
was the Pistons. Hopefully you watch the first half. I
don't believe you need to watch the second half. The
Thunder lead the Lakers at halftime seventy to thirty eight.
Seventy to thirty eight, seventy thirty eight. Yeah, that's how
it's going. I mean the first four or five minutes,

(02:56):
it was fun. Yeah, when they tipped off and Luca
had a couple of buckets, a couple of gets and
it was flowing early. Yeah, that was good. Yeah. Okay,
guess what, hey, kids, we can we can uh, we
can watch season two, episode two of Pluribus tonight because
I don't need to watch the rest of the Laker game.
Let's go turn it on, catch it up again, you know,
rewatching Stranger Things ahead of the premier whatever it is. Yeah,

(03:20):
split screen experience, I think is what this game gets
relegated to. You know, for the second half. I will
say this before we get to the big NFL story
about Pluribus. Right, the big hot new show, Vince Gilligan's
first show since the Breaking Bad Universe ended right better
at Breaking Bad. Yeah, she's the star. And I want
to say this, not that it's because I watched the
first episode. First episode is really good, right, but I

(03:43):
feel like they they promoted it differently from the reality
of the show. Okay, so they promote the show as
everybody in the world gets this virus of some kind
that makes them happy. And Ria Sehorn, whose character is,
because they say this on the proos, the most miserable person,
the most unhappy is is the only one who is

(04:05):
not affected by this. So I'm like, Okay, I'm expecting
something really over the top and satirical but still sort
of sort of uh serious. But really, when you when
you promote it like that, you think, Okay, it's gonna
be some it's it's gonna have, you know, a wink
and a nod at you as well, And instead what
I've seen so far, I mean, there's elements of of

(04:27):
of of fun comedy in it, like you go, whoa, whoa,
but overall it's really a post apocalyptic show, and I'm like, wow,
and I really liked it because I'm watching this going okay,
am I really gonna like something that, hey, we're gonna
make it make a satire of of of a virus
and and and people being infected by it. But instead
it's it's so far it's it's really post apocalyptic. And

(04:47):
I'm like, well, I really like it, and I'm like, man,
it was. I feel like they promoted it the wrong way,
and sometimes when you do that, you can turn people off.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
You.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I don't know if I like it or not, like
I would if I didn't wasn't gonna watch it. I
would someone to tell me, hey, no it's not what
you think it is. It's post apocalyptic. I know you
like that stuff. Yeah, okay, great, Yeah, well now I'll
watch it, like I like, I don't. I don't think
it was it was marketed quite the right way. This
is the one kind of like we see with films.
Sometimes it's the fourth trailer that takes a decided left turn.

(05:17):
Nobody knew what the hell it was. Oh wait, oh
so it's kind of nice. Yeah, I'm not a post
apocalyptic guy, so I'll end up going back and watching
another iteration of something that looks or feels like Downton Abbey.
Oh the left the House of Guinness has actually become
one of my favorites. But I believe the final chapter
of Downtown Abbey is coming to theater soon. I know

(05:39):
it just came out of No Available on Peacock. So
when when you're done watching the NBA game that starts
at eight o'clock Pacific, you can drift straight into that
or rerun a Bob s for you. The two things
you won't be seeing anymore after tonight, the Lakers's Contenders
in Downtown Abbey, because it now finished Downtown Abbey. I

(05:59):
was very sad and finished that it's over. Yeah, I
enjoyed that world. Okay, Paul Giamatti hanging out. You can't
revisit Downton Abbey anytime you want them, Yeah, but it's
not gonna be fresh to me anymore. You can travel
to the UK and can visit all the sets and
walk around and have parasols and drink tea. Yeah, you
can do that. I'm sure I've already got that on
the books for summer of twenty seven. Yes, yeah, it's

(06:19):
drinking tea and drinking tea and using parasol. You can
do that, Tomorro. No, no, no, but I mean I
got a pony up the cash to visit all those castles. Well,
and you're gonna need to hire somebody earl or something,
and somebody to walk around next to you holding the
umbrella over your head. But only in the sun, not
in the rain. That's kind of cheap. There's a lot
of folks looking for a little bit of a well,
I'm just saying you like fifteen bucks an hour. Maybe yeah.

(06:40):
I might might also have to, you know, dress him
in period pieces too, I mean, not completely work might
be right, So the closes are gonna probably cost me
as much the Habitashery. Big change in the NFL today
as Jackson Dart will not start for the Giants on
Sunday against the Packers. He's in concussion protocol and when
you're two and eight, Mike ca could taking over. Hey,

(07:01):
no worry, I'm not gonna put him out there to
get hurt like Dabele. Did we outline that full on
that Brian Dable got fired. I don't know where you
put it on the top ten list, but it's there.
I'm gonna learn from the mistakes and the guy that
just got fired two days ago. No worry, We're not played.
It's two where two and eight. It's fine. I'm not

(07:22):
gonna put him out there. Instead, Jameis Winston will get
the start for the Giants, not Russell Wilson. Jameis Winston
will get the start for the Giants. Again. I'm surprised
Russell Wilson is still in the Giants past the deadline.
They should have traded him. He's gonna end his career
in a big heavy coat on the sidelines in December,

(07:44):
in the middle of snow. And that's not how what
you go for Russell Wilson. But Jameis Winston is the starter.
And he's very happy, so happy that he broke into
song earlier today at the press conference where he talked
about his debut in the regular season for the Giants
coming up on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
As a no Dad, I'm gonna do my best, you know.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Optionally, I'm gonna have fun, but I'm going to execute,
have a surgical execution, uh, and just and just play ball, man,
Like this is something I've been doing since I've been
four years old, and I just get to do it
in the greatest city in the world. I'm gonna be
saying what my son was, the greatest city in the world. Yeah,
that's that's a Hamilton reference. If y'all I don't know a.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Teen year reunion, Sell, sell, sell, I want to talk
about Hamilton ten year union coming up. But you see
my mass back up Broadways, greatest city in the greatest
city in the world. I did that. I think he
should have tried to lead a single. See what of
the beat reporters could uh Stually, I think he kind
of did, and I don't think anybody did. No well,

(08:43):
I mean, I'm sure there were one or two people
that kind of looked at him with side eye. It's
a Hamilton rut. Yeah, yeah, Jamis, we all know it's
all serious. It's been playing a Broadway for like for
like ten years now. We all know a Jamis. We're
just watching you because what I heard that with you
talking about all you did, what I heard was start
the Packers defense and fantasy That's what I heard from everything.
You're saying, I'm gonna have fun, I'm gonna do this,

(09:03):
and you're singing Hamilton lyrics. Yeah, start the Packers defense
in Fantasy number one ranked defense in fantasy this week?
Is that where you're going with that?

Speaker 2 (09:11):
That's what?

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Yeah, Because you know Jamis is gonna throw three touchdowns,
He's gonna throw at least three interceptions. You're gonna get
at least one pick six. That's what Jameis Winston does.
You're going for a pick six. Oh yeah, So what
you're saying is Michael Parsons isn't just gonna have all right,
He's got a lot of pressures, but no sacks or hits.
Because we've seen that a bunch of times, the pressures,
but there's no none of them. There's a bunch of

(09:33):
big and imt he's gonna want to hold onto the
football to make a play so long he's gonna no, No,
I'm gonna wait, I'm gonna wait. It's gonna be a
big day for the Packers defense. Now, look, Jamis is,
like I said, he's gonna move the team. They're gonna
throw the football, right, don't don't expect this to be
one of those Oh the Packers are gonna win thirty
one to three type of defensive efforts with like eleven sacks,

(09:55):
four fumbles. No, it's gonna be You're gonna win. You're
gonna win thirty one. But you're gonna have a pick six,
you're gonna have three interceptions, You're gonna have three or
four sack. No, you'll have a good day defensively. You
start the Packers in fantasy. I'm stunned. I got to
pick him up today. I'm stunned. I said, no one
else is picking up the option? Can you kidding? Jameis
Winston starting? Yeah, give me the Packers defense man certainly

(10:16):
an option. I mean, they would have been a top.
The fact that they were available at all is kind
of silly. But I suppose coming out of that game
against Philadelphia or going into it, perhaps if you're not
willing to carry that second defense for a week, that
you would have gone that route. But I'm excited to
see him play. I mean, Russell Wilson said all the
right things. I didn't. I don't want to be released.

(10:37):
This is where I want to be hyping up Jamis
as best he could. He didn't sing as far as
I'm aware, But all of that for Jamis Winston, I'm
curious to see what he is. I'm still curious that
as to why no team came and tried to trade
for him. Forget about Russell Wilson. Like if I were
looking into the trade market and going, all right, I'll
take a guy with who has shown a high ceiling

(11:00):
at times, he's got a very low floor. Uh so
you got a giant gap vaulted ceilings. But for Jamis Winston,
who's he throwing to? I mean it's a lot of
THEO Johnson singletary out of the backfield. Yeah, Darius Slayton,
Wondel Robinson, Wandell, He's a target monster thrown at him

(11:22):
like fifty five times. And you know what, you'll take
the Giants to win the game. All who's he gonna
throw to? I'll take the Giants to win. I got
it all now. Clearly TJ. Jamis Winston due to his
press conference today hoping that the Giants offense isn't helpless

(11:43):
on Sunday, TJ remind folks, that's another hand TJ. As
Mike Harmon referred to who will be his right hand
man in the offense on Sunday, TJ Jamis Winston hoping
to not throw away his shot against the Packers on Sunday, TJ.

(12:05):
Clearly Jamis winning the game. That would be enough for
the Giants on Sunday. See how you're getting into those
sad songs like those will be the montage As he's
getting ripped apart by Micah Parsons, Jamis says, Hey, on Sunday,
I'll be in the room where it happens making plays

(12:27):
for New York. TJ. You two could be in the
room where it happens over under his forty three points,
the Packers a seven point road favorite in this one,
Jamis hoping the field and the world is wide enough
for him to find his receivers on Sunday, TJ, TJ.

(12:48):
It may be quiet uptown, but it will be loud
at MetLife On Sunday, DJ, did you get to the
world turned upside down? In the naming of a new
quarterback for the New York Giants. That would be the
easy one. I mean, sometimes you gotta take the low
hanging fruit. Jamis saying, Hey, Giants fans, I know we're losing,

(13:09):
but tune in again. You'll be back after we start winning.
On Sunday, DJ. Anybody that played for the Packers earlier
this year, that could be a Hercules Bulligan like character.
Jameis Winston hoping a win will be the story of
tonight in the NFL. TJ. You've sent the world into

(13:33):
a tizzy here with your Broadway knowledge and lin Manuel Miranda.
He thanks you. DJ. A lot of guns and ships
and interceptions on the docket for Jamis on SUNDAYJ. At
some point, I just have to pull the plug on
this exercise. DJ. Let me just say this about Jamis

(13:56):
one last time, DJ.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
P.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
You know like he's gotta be running out of Hamilton. Oh,
he can do this all night. He got to be
running like it's a three hour musical. There's plenty of
one liners to be had. Will Jamis blow us all
away on Sunday with his quarterback performance? DJ, I will
say this, you've gone now through I think fourteen that'll
be enough. TJ. You could write everything that Jamis has

(14:25):
done for the Giants on something the size of the
Reynolds pamphlet. TJ. It's not enough to have his teammates,
but he hopes to have Washington, Philadelphia and Dallas on
his side as well later on this year. DJ, I

(14:45):
don't even know how to respond anymore, because you're gonna
keep doing this. Ty Shirt hasn't played you off yet hopefully,
hopefully for Jamis, it will be the Packers and Skylar
defeated on Sunday at MetLife. All right, that's my last one.
That's my last. He got sky Skyler defeated. No, that's good.
Sometimes it's just how it goes out there. You go, okay.

(15:07):
So there we got Jameis Winston gave you a little
bit of Hamilton. He opened the door again. Smith not
only saw the crack the light shining and said, I'm
gonna go in there and I'm gonna lay it all
out one after another. Biggest thing to know. We'll listen
to Hamilton and start the Packers defense on Sunday. Start

(15:27):
him now. If Jamis had started his response to the
pressure with this, how does it? I mean, he would
have had everybody cont used, Exit up, out of Fresco,
exit swollen down. The Jason Smith Show with my best

Speaker 2 (17:03):
He's with those Happen Due a ride.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
He and Stanford alum Jason call What's up? Jake cal.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Did you notice that Bill Belichick is on a two
game win streak and those two games are against Stanford
and Syracuse. I hate that song.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah, you know, because I noticed he got really chesty
where early in the season when he was losing and
he was answering questions. He was answering questions like forty
five seconds long. But now he's won a couple of games,
and yesterday they asked about the Giants, he just says,
I'm focused on Wake Forest, like the old Bill bellichik
us back after he's won a couple of games earlier
in the year. I can't get away with just crazy

(17:49):
stupid answers because I'm not winning. But now he's won
a couple of games. I'm on to Wake Forest. I'm
on to Wake Forest.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Yes, I'm on way to Wake Forest. Yeah. I feel
good about myself. I beat Apples, Stanford Vanna Happolis, Syracuse squad. Yeah.
So I've gone through the Jason and Jason college combo.
You know.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
We talked about this last night, and I'm like, you know,
it would be awesome for what we do if Bill
Belichick became a Giants head coach. But I got a
feeling that you know, there's absolutely zero chance of that happening. Zero.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Yeah, John Marra, been there, done that. I mean, I'll
say this, I think that Belichick will would do this.
If he was to do it, he would be classier
than Parcels, which I think Parcells like had a meeting
in his car one year in the Giants parking lot

(18:49):
with mehra in which was like, what are we doing here?
Why are we doing it this way? Why did we
have to meet in the car? Fair?

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Click straight out? I like it, You're going to meet
me in that today and over there. Yeah, it's like
the end of halfa right where Nicholson and de Vito
meeting at the at the truck stops all the time.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
It was like totally bizarre. Myself, like Marself try to
try tries to turn everything into a Mafia movie. It's like, dude,
it's just football. I mean, that's that's all you're doing
right here. He's so full of himself. But Belichick, as
much as Belichick is full of himself, he's not as

(19:36):
full of himself as as Parcels. I'll give him that, okay,
on a comparison, he you know, he's not still not.
I don't give him much credit for what he's doing
at North Carolina last two weeks, because I know how
bad Stanford is and you know how bad Syracuse is. Oh, yes,
that's all I wanted to say here, We're awful.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Hey, Belichick was going to reinvent college football. Man, just
a couple of bumps along the way.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Yeah. I just asked Michael Lombardi and Jordan whatever her
name is Hudson, right, is that that's good?

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Yeah? You got it?

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Yeah, okay, good? Yeah, yeah, they were banking on it.
Let me tell you this. I love this one about
Lombardy going to going to the South East for money, Like,
what are we doing there? Almost going to be like
Lombardy would be doing a remake of Ishtar. He definitely

(20:34):
would be doing Ishtar. He'd be lost in the desert. Yeah.
I could just see that right now.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
All right, Well, let's stay out there on these coast
A J. Brown on a video game thanks, saying, hey,
life is great except for the you know, the whole
football thing where it's a problem. They win a really
compelling game on Monday night. How long did this to
be sustained? I mean, is it just a year of

(21:02):
living dangerously in Philly with this, Well.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
They're bored. I mean like they're winning, they're beating the
teams that you prove to themselves that they're good, and
then they kind of just they coast in some other games.
This is this is what happens with a team that
a is coming off of a super Bowl victory. It's
hard to get them to focus for a long season.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
And b.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Has leaders or not necessarily the most mature guys in
the world, or in some cases, guys that they don't
necessarily respect, Like a lot of guys in that locker
room don't really like Jalen Hurts. And when Jalen Carter
is your best player, he ain't fleuch of Cocks. I

(21:55):
mean he's you know, he's not a guy who's going
to put it all out on the field and be
focused and concentrating. He's not Jason Kelsey, who's you know,
a true leader. So you know, Carter's kind of shows
up when he wants to show up. That doesn't, you know,
serve your team well. And again with Hurts not being
that well liked, and you can see what's going on

(22:17):
between him and the receiver, I mean there's some issues there.
They're loaded and so talent wins and they have good coaching.
I think that we'll see where they are second week
of December. As long as they're kind of in control

(22:38):
of their fate. I don't really see anybody really getting
in their way. I mean, I think Detroit can give
him a hard time, But I'm not betting on Jared
Goff outside in January, not in Philly. You I'm not
taking a kid. It's just I'm not taking the kid

(22:58):
from Marin Catholic going into going into Philly. Just not
doing that.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
I am. I am stunned that despite all of this dysfunction,
the Eagles are seven and two. But I'm also incredibly
impressed that they live in dysfunction and they can win
Super Bowls and be the top team in the NFC
despite the fact they just swim in it. Man, this
is not like, hey, we're going to put a dash
of dysfunction.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Oh, absolutely no, They're They're going to be like the
most dysfunctional team to win a championship maybe since with
like the Mets in eighty six, right, or or the
Oakland A's in the seventies, like you know, like where
guys were brawling in the in the locker room before
games and stuff like that. I mean, like that's that's

(23:50):
where they are. But yeah, like really could I mean, yeah,
they're they're they're they're seven and two in Their offensive
line is still not in great shape. You know, Laine Johnson,
I don't know if he's going to be healthy at
all this year. You know, maybe by the time they
get to the playoffs. But they're just again, they're loaded

(24:11):
with talent, and you know, the Jalen Fellows, the deal.
You know, one weekend it looks looks like a spectacular
move for them. I know, I have a hard time
picking against them making it in from the NFC side
and the a SC side, I mean, come on, oh, Nix,
do you really trust that? Do we really really really

(24:34):
think that that's going to hang on for the entire year.
I mean, I just I don't see a lot on
the a SC side. It makes me say, oh, yeah,
they're They're just going to go right through the Eagles.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Jason cole our guest Jason Smith, show Me and Mike
Rman here live from the Fox Sports Radio Studios, thirty
third Team Hall of Fame voter, author of many books,
Holidays Are Coming, Get to Amazon dot com. Find his
latest greatest all up in there and load up the library,
no question about it at Jason Cole sixty two where
you find him on Twitter. So that begets the question,

(25:10):
who's actually good? You just started naming all the teams
that weren't Chiefs are the favorite for the Super Bowl
right now, Rams Eagles, next, Lions, Seahawks, Bill's Colts, Jets.
That gets us to Sam Donald and Daniel Jones in
that bow Knicks came. I mean, we got all sorts
of chaos.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
Man. Uh, I'm still not trust in Sam Donald. Though
he made a guid he made a move that two
years ago he couldn't made where he rolled to his
left and flipped his hips and made a throw on
a dime to Smith and Jigma and that was that
was a really great, great throw. I give him a
lot of credit for that, because again I saw him

(25:47):
in practice and he could not do that. That. He's
really worked in his draft. Give him a lot of credit.
But he's still Sam Donald and you just expect to
ghost in the machine.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
Sh up actually done, little police references. The guy can
leave the Jets, but you can't take the Jets out
of them. That's what you're telling me, you can.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
You can't take the sting out of him either. That
Chris did my little Chris Berman right there in the machine.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Dang, you missed all with Jameis Winston singing Hamilton for
Sunday Man, you missed all lot.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
Of I don't even want to know. Just keep going
so violently. Ill God. So that's the fastest forty five minutes.
And like, I think the Bills are also a team

(26:49):
that's yeah, that's a little bit bored. And the other
the defense, the run defense is just hanging on by
by a thread right at the moment. But I do
think that the Chiefs are going to get together. I
love the Chargers most weeks, but there's been a couple
of weeks where yous ago. Really that's what you know,

(27:12):
like the game against the Giants, really, that's that's when
we lost, you know, like that's what you're allowed to
have happened. So and you know, I'm sorry, Carly, Carly
what's her name is? Carl You're saying, you know, gimmel

(27:33):
the guys in the world, you know, buying, buying a
round of drinks, and you know in Germany love it,
love that kind of stuff, you know like that, that's
that's spectacular. The Daniel Jones is still a quarterback of
the stage like I just but no, no, I can't know.
I don't believe it. I mean, Jonathan Taylor's MVP of

(27:55):
the league. But if he can carry Daniel Jones like
he Daniel Jones will owe him like ten million dollars
off of his next contract. That's what that's that's what
he usould just turn to John and Taylor to go, hey, dude,
thanks for making me all this money. You're you're giving
me generational wealth in the Jones family. Hey, how much bills?

Speaker 1 (28:18):
How much of the Daniel Jones success got? Brian Dable fired,
like how much of it?

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Oh? Quite a bit too, he said, dude, Yeah, I
mean how many how much of that time you've had
sake que and you couldn't figure out how how to
do it? You know, you get Jones and sake one
he could. I mean grant the offensive line, you know,
the what they have up front is awful. And what
the Faults have on offensive line now that it's healthy,

(28:50):
you know, it's pretty incredible. You know, this is how
they tried to build their team and then they're doing
some fabulous things. But yeah, if you got a quarterback
this in defensive day balls. And I think this is
true of Daniel Jones. And you know this is especially
having watched Richard Todd at some point in your life.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Todd is starting tomorrow for the Jets. I don't know
if you know that.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
I don't doubt that in the least. There are some
guys who can't play in New York right, Like we
know that. I mean, that's that's I'm not I'm not
stating anything that's not been stated before. I think that
Daniel Jones is one of those guys who you know,
like like Dave Brown with the Giants. You know that

(29:37):
that former Travesty and just about every Jets quarterback since
name with the exception of uh maybe Red Lucas and
Vinny Testaberdy, like none none of them can handle it.
Just yet. Chad Penningsen can handle it for the most part.
I give him some credit, but yeah, most of those

(29:59):
guys they don't have they don't have the stones for it.
And so I think Jones is one of those guys.
He's you put him in a soft market like Indianapolis,
coming off of a situation where they had Anthony Richardson

(30:19):
not playing very well. You know, like that's a really
favorable situation where it's going to be really comfortable, and yeah,
you put a lot of really good players around him.
So I think Davil doesn't get all the blame, but
it certainly doesn't help in a can't looking like the
quarterback genius that everybody thought he was before he went there,

(30:43):
After he had worked with Josh Allen, after he had
worked with Jalen Hurts in college, after he worked with Tua,
after he had spent time with Tom Brady certainly in
New England, and had built a pretty good resume of
dealing with quarterbacks. All of a sudden, it certainly went flat.
And and let's tell the truth, stable definitely this season,

(31:04):
like the whole tent thing, you're kind of losing your mind.
Stay away from the tent. Don't do the tent. That's
a bad look. Don't go to the tent. This should
be a rule that they tell every coach. Don't go
to the tent. It's it's a bad it's a bad look.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
He's on Twitter at Jason Cole sixty two at Jason
Cole sixty two, thirty third team as well. J Cole
is always buddy, appreciate it. When the Jets windowmrow Night
by twenty.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Tomire are your Semani versus Aaron Glenn, Who do.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
We ask to me? Oh, I'll take Sam because Semini
has outlasted every Jets coach the last thirty five years.
He'll outlast Aaron Glenn.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Oh my god, he is he is, Yeah, he is.
He's just going to crush it is. I got taking
Semini in three rounds. We talk about totally.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Later see money.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Fox Sports Radio The Jason Smith Show with My best
friend Mike Harmon Oklahoma City. And the Laker is still going. Yeah,
running clock right now. Thunderlead at one O eight seventy
three with seven and a half to go in the
fourth quarter. Make it stop. Oh look, JJ Reddick has
done the right thing, and that's take all the big
Lakers starters out because they're losing by fifty. That sounds

(32:31):
like a foreshadowing or just anger. No, it's foreshadowing. Because
let me take you back to earlier tonight, an injury
that is just getting into our studios. Now. The Knicks
play in the second game of back to back nights. Okay,
didn't go their way. They lose to the Magic. I
love back to back, but we got to watch a
bit of that game, you know, as we were waiting
to come in and do the show here in the studio,

(32:53):
having a nice cup of coffee and some conversation watching
the Knicks. It was just last night that I said, Hey,
here's the job Mike Brown is doing with the Knicks.
The three biggest things were, what mcal Bridge is a
different player, Karl Anthony Town seems bought in, and he's
playing bench guys. Right, it's not Tibbs playing them, you know,
five guys and Josh Hart and that's it, right, guys

(33:13):
are getting big minutes. The Knicks are winning. They're figuring
it out right, Mike Brown, nice job, well lessen two
minutes ago. Tonight the Knicks are getting boat raced by thirteen.
Not their night. They've never cut this game against the Magic.
They've been losing by thirteen the entire fourth quarter. Hey,
guess what you're down by thirteen with less than two
minutes left to go. Time to get the guys off
the court, because when you don't, something like this will

(33:35):
happen to Jalen Brunson. Inside two minutes to go and
Brunson another foul drawn and he immediately grabs his right leg.
Oh boy, that right leg.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
Oh man.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Yeah, Mike Brown wants to get him out. He looked
right to the Knicks bench after he cut out, going
right back back to the locker room to get that
looked at. Yeah. Next radio on the call, Jalen Brunson
was seen leaving Madison Square Garden on crutches in a

(34:11):
walking boot Yay, Mike Brown, leave it all now. Brown
wants to get him out of the game. You get
him out of the game earlier than that, not that,
Oh if you had just done it a few seconds ago.
You have to know timing. But it's just you gotta
know when the night is not your night and you
get under three minutes, it's thirteen. You can't cut it
if you cut it to eight or seven. Okay, I
get it a little bit, but you gotta understand. This

(34:32):
season is so long. It's the second night of back
to backs. Get your guys out. Brunston played a ton
of minutes last night. He played a ton of minutes tonight,
and he plays heavy minutes every night, or heavy minutes
for Jalen Brunson. There's no light night minutes for Jalen Brunson, right,
none of them. Every minute is a heavy minute. And
let's leave him in there with less than two minutes ago.
It's like Tibbs was coaching the team again. Now I'm

(34:54):
still gonna leave him in, still gonna leave him inn
And now who knows where Jalen Brunton's gonna be, how
long he's how long he's out for. But under two
minutes you're down by thirteen, you should have been long
out of the game. Yeah, heart of a champion man.
He thought he could overcome that deficit. He was gonna
get him to the century mark at that point. Go
back and watch it, and it actually exploded a little

(35:14):
a little bit worse so sixteen. But he said, we
got two minutes, we got two minutes we could make
this happen. Here's the problem. You run into Carter and
you lock legs and down you go. Carter immediately knew
it was like, oh, that was a bad transition. Probably
should have surrendered the bucket would be I guess his
assessment in it. As Brunson goes down to the court.

(35:38):
You can hear it just as they called it, of
oh oh whenever there's no words coming out, and it's
just excited utterances and the pained expression from your broadcasters.
You know it's bad now. He did walk off under
his own power, so you got that going for you.
You put him in the boot preliminarily and precautionary measure.

(36:00):
He missed fifteen games with an ankle last year, and
that's that's the other thing. It's like, it's the second
week of November. You are one of the favorites to
win a title, and you just had Jason jump on board.
But the Mike Brown express you were gonna build a
whole float and everything, and twenty four hours later you

(36:21):
hate him. I mean really, I want to know if
somehow there was some sort of weird science fiction thing
and Tibbs was making the call here, Mike Brown called
to have him out, and then tib said, you don't
need to take him out of this game. I don't
need to take you out of this game. You might
be able to cut into a thirteen point deficit in
the final two minutes. We could get into this thirteen

(36:43):
point devisit the final two minutes. You don't need to
see his identification. We don't need to see his identification.
The boy can go about his business. Boy can go
about his business. Oh wait, I should have taken him
out of the game. I mean, come on, man, I
mean again, all of the evidence, second night of back
to backs, heavy minutes, you're losing by three. Team should
have been long gone, long gone out of the game
by then. Well, he's also a veteran that could just say, hey,

(37:06):
this is not this is not happening. I'm out. He's
got some owners There is some some ownership of all
of this in terms of playing through and knowing the
guy he is. He wants to play it to the
bitter end, thinking he could get over on him and
instead lock legs and down. He ghost Nicks can have
nice things. This is Mike Brown. This is on you,

(37:26):
Mike Brown and you Tips, because I know you had
a hand in this. At some point you and Mike
Brown together. You did this together. Was the name of
the dude the Avengers that became just the brain in
the head and the computer that's tips. Coming up next,
we get back into a big story out of major
League Baseball. Fox

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
