A little less than hour ago, Paul Pierce posted a
picture detailing the route from his home to the studios.
It's gonna take him eight hours to walk from his

get ready to do the show. So probably whaty it's
eight o'clock the night night, Like Paul Pierce, you gotta

she was on the subway and she jumped in, and
like Rosie Ruiz, became this huge story. Yeah, she won
the New York Marathon.

a bodega. Uh, stopped off for a little coffee.

Oh, she was on the subway, so yeah, looking at

a raccoons, raccoons with potential drug issues. After that story
today from Ohio, we have to kind of watch out
for them, right, change the game hashtag protect the raccoons.

they can say whatever they want to and all this stuff. Okay,
here's the thing, Jay Cole, he mentored, Shador Standers is
wearing number twelve because of Tom Brady and really nobody
yet Brady did not give his opinion at all about
your door, Sanders. They never even asked him, No one
was ever there, No Brady was out of the loop,

and they were evaluating quarterbacks. So they said, hey, he
takes your door standers or not, Brady was not involved
at all.

the entire games started out really shooting seventy one percent
from the field. They're still shooting almost sixty percent and
again almost down to the end of the third quarter,
all five of okac's starters are in double digits. And yeah,
the Nuggets are just struggling thirty four percent from the field,

this is Game two. Okay, see, trying to even the series.
The Knicks were down twenty took Game two from the Celtics,
coming down on top ninety one to ninety. Jalen Brunson
mister clutch himself with the go ahead shot late in

them the lead. With fifteen seconds left to go. Brunson
hits free throws mister clutch to give the Knicks the lead,
and then Tatum kind of dribbles into trouble and can't
get out of it and tries to dish the ball
off at the last second and mcal Bridges again steals
the ball on the final play and the knickser up
to zip going home. Even though they won last year,

it was still Jason Tatum didn't get the NBA hug
that he thought he was gonna get. Best player on
the Celtics Here I am or NBA Finals MVP. Yeah, no,
not so much. Yeah, they win, but it wasn't an anointing,
an anointing of Jason Tatum as the next great Big superstar.
It was still, yeah, the Celtics won, great team, Jayson
(38:53):
Tanan trific player, but it wasn't quite to the extent
that we thought it was. When someone wins a title
and in validates their career, like like it was with
when he won a few years ago. If the Celtics
lose this series to the Knicks, and clearly it looks
like that's happening, Jason Tatum's legacy takes such a hit.
It will be like they didn't even win the title

last year. That that's how much Tatum has at stake
right now. Because it was already Hey, you're kind of
at arm's length with how we feel about you after this.
And now if you lose to the Knicks in the
second round of a title defense and we lose to
one of our biggest bitter rivals after we boat race
them four games during the regular season, yeah, it's like
(39:34):
last year didn't happen. And and the Celtics fans and
even NBA experts, they'll be at zero sum with Jason Tatum.
It will be Yes, they won the title, but look
how bad it was in the second round. Now we're
back to square one where he's back to zero having
to prove himself all over again. That's how much he
has at stake in the series.

Well, because even last year, because he wasn't the finals MVP,
and that got heated and there were questions coming into
the offseason of how much he bristled it that. Yeah,
they won the title, had the great moment. You know,
we saw the video family and everything else. But we
still try to do all those Hey how do you
rank guys, because we love to do it and it's
(40:14):
a fun exercise and begets a bunch of arguments and
then you get your homersm that comes in because you've
watched every game. Right, that's the thing, right, you know
your local teams obviously, us doing the national show, we
do our best to blanket coverage everything we can. But
you know, you might decide, you know, you want to
stand up for your guy. But that's the only time
(40:36):
Jason Tatum was winning any of those arguments and getting
the benefit of the doubt. When you go back to
the national side of it, you know, you got players
like Brunson, You got those singular superstars that carry teams
on their backs. Now here. He's obviously got a lot
of help Brunson, that is from Bridges and others. But
for Jason Tatum, yeah, it was a question of the
amalgam and were they just too strong as a squad,

because that was the narrative all season, They're just too.

eight o'clock the night night, Like Paul Pierce, you gotta

she was on the subway and she jumped in, and
like Rosie Ruiz, became this huge story. Yeah, she won
the New York Marathon.

Oh, she was on the subway, so yeah, looking at

But look, Jason Tatum has a chance to win the
game at the end. He you know, he makes a

great decision. He goes down for the dunk to give
them the lead. With fifteen seconds left to go. Brunson
hits free throws mister clutch to give the Knicks the lead,
and then Tatum kind of dribbles into trouble and can't
get out of it and tries to dish the ball
off at the last second and mcal Bridges again steals
the ball on the final play and the knickser up
to zip going home. Even though they won last year,

it was still Jason Tatum didn't get the NBA hug
that he thought he was gonna get. Best player on
the Celtics Here I am or NBA Finals MVP. Yeah, no,
not so much. Yeah, they win, but it wasn't an anointing,
an anointing of Jason Tatum as the next great Big superstar.
It was still, yeah, the Celtics won, great team, Jayson
(38:53):
Tanan trific player, but it wasn't quite to the extent
that we thought it was. When someone wins a title
and in validates their career, like like it was with
when he won a few years ago. If the Celtics
lose this series to the Knicks, and clearly it looks
like that's happening, Jason Tatum's legacy takes such a hit.
It will be like they didn't even win the title

last year. That that's how much Tatum has at stake
right now. Because it was already Hey, you're kind of
at arm's length with how we feel about you after this.
And now if you lose to the Knicks in the
second round of a title defense and we lose to
one of our biggest bitter rivals after we boat race
them four games during the regular season, yeah, it's like
(39:34):
last year didn't happen. And and the Celtics fans and
even NBA experts, they'll be at zero sum with Jason Tatum.
It will be Yes, they won the title, but look
how bad it was in the second round. Now we're
back to square one where he's back to zero having
to prove himself all over again. That's how much he
has at stake in the series.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
Well, because even last year, because he wasn't the finals MVP,
and that got heated and there were questions coming into
the offseason of how much he bristled it that. Yeah,
they won the title, had the great moment. You know,
we saw the video family and everything else. But we
still try to do all those Hey how do you
rank guys, because we love to do it and it's
(40:14):
a fun exercise and begets a bunch of arguments and
then you get your homersm that comes in because you've
watched every game. Right, that's the thing, right, you know
your local teams obviously, us doing the national show, we
do our best to blanket coverage everything we can. But
you know, you might decide, you know, you want to
stand up for your guy. But that's the only time
(40:36):
Jason Tatum was winning any of those arguments and getting
the benefit of the doubt. When you go back to
the national side of it, you know, you got players
like Brunson, You got those singular superstars that carry teams
on their backs. Now here. He's obviously got a lot
of help Brunson, that is from Bridges and others. But
for Jason Tatum, yeah, it was a question of the
amalgam and were they just too strong as a squad,

because that was the narrative all season, They're just too.
