and the Nugget. It's five and a half to go

you mentioned trade and you know, one of the funny

things about the Lakers And I can say surge, but
but it's really not been a surge one. Are they
seven and five and their less? Oh they're hot, there's
seven to five. Yeah, okay, they've been playing a little
bit better. But I will say this because now that
the Lakers, and specifically a D and Lebron have decided, hey,
we need to buy in for a little bit here,
you know, we we we could have just walked away

at two and eleven and said hey, we're done, but
they decided to stay involved. And the Lakers are playing
a little bit better, right So that's good. What this
means is the Lakers are going to make a trade
very soon, and it's probably not going to be Westbrook
because he's playing even though he's not happy, he's playing
better off the bench, and it's gonna be one of
those trades involving around like Pat Beverley and a couple

of players and maybe none as well. You know, that's
kind of what they're looking at right now, because the
Lakers can just let this go this way, right they
with Lebron and a D playing better, this is now
putting pressure on the team and say, okay, hey we're
better now where we started out slow. That's great. We're
a little bit better now. We're probably a five team.
Hey we can get a shooter or something else, we

can be a lot better and maybe we can make
a run in the Western Conference. And the Lakers are
going to be pushed to making that trade. Now. They
only have one bullet to fire, right, they only go
we do this one's only they have a couple of
different assets they can move. Here, we can bring in
this player, and they only really have one bullet to fire.
So you gotta make it count. You gotta make sure
this is the move you want to do. But I
have no doubt the Lakers will make some kind of

big trade to help the team because with the big
star players saying, hey we can be a little bit better,
the pressures now in the Lakers to not to not
do nothing and to try to help the team. They'll
do it. But it's one bullet to fire, and they
really got to make account. Yeah, I think when it
comes down to it with the Russell Westbrook side of things,
we we've heard the last few days of that's all

cooled and how much better he's played. Don't know, maybe
it's just a per minute if we want to do
that fuzzy math for you and the the aesthetics the
the eye test of it all, it looks better and
more relaxed and less frenetic and out of sorts. But
that one seems to be at the end of the year,
that'll just come to its natural conclusion. Congratulations on a

job done. Uh So, now you start settling and looking
in at Kendrick Nunn, Patrick Beverley and whether those can
be spun off somewhere again with the idea hopefully that
whatever you're bringing back in return as you make these
salaries match, you're not picking up a whole bunch of

extra years, right that if these are ancillary parts, and
and spin the wheel and hope for just a little
better success, a little better outside shooting that you're you're
not beholden to a multi year deal on the back
end if it goes awry. Yeah, and and it's it.
I don't know that you are getting into the point

where it's that kind of money. Um, But because what
you're really gonna be able to trade his teams look
for financial flexibility, different things. We're getting a pick, we're
getting all that. I don't know that they're I think
they got burned too much with the Russell Westbrook thing
where that's not. That's not gonna be the move where
it's not gonna say, oh, here's a big time, big
player companies making a lot of money in this season. No,

it's gonna be something else. It's gonna be something to say,
what piece do we need to put around Lebron and
a D to make sure you know Lebron is gonna
say I need to shoot r I need a shoot her.
So I think it's gonna it's gonna be something more
like that. I don't think it's gonna wind up being
something expensive, but it's gonna be it's gonna be a
little nerve racking because they gotta make sure that this
is the right one, because there's no other move to make. Right.

You you have that, like I said, you have enough
assets to make one trade, and you've already you've held
off on so many times trading Russell Westbrook. You won't
do it. You won't do it, you won't do it. Okay,
So now you have this, but you really gotta make
it count. So whereas whereas I thought this would be
something that would happen sometime around now, I wouldn't be surprised.
It's got into the new year and it came where

the Lakers really went with a fine tooth comb over things, said, Okay,
we are positive this is the deal we have to
make that's gonna make us better because like I said,
it's only one. They only get to pull that trigger
once on it. I really just want to see the

But you're trying to find viable component parts to help

make a push for Lebron and a d while they're here,
while they're healthy, because that's the other part of it
is we're here in the middle of December and you're saying,
all right, here they are, and they're playing better to
your point seven and five to last twelve, So how
much better is better? They're competitive each night. The we
had Dan Woiki on the other night. Uh. We had

a great profile on Darvin Ham and you can see
that there is some of the attitude leaching through, but
how much does that get you to the winners circle? Like,
that's the larger things. So with those two guys playing healthy,
you're barely above five during that stretch, and it may
look a little better. You may play better basketball and
stretches against good teams. Con remember a lot of those

wins game against some of the dregs of the n
b A. But that game against the Celtics the other night,
look great, built a big lead, great comeback, miss free
throws and Lebron attempting a highlight top shot moment that
went awry, and then they lose an ot So all
of that effort still comes at a loss. So you

got to weigh all that if you're in that boardroom
to try to figure out, well, what what are we origaging,
what's the cost of admission, and what are we really
doing with these two guys, because even at their best,
we're still struggling. We could talk about how complicated other

and I differ on Indianapolis Minnesota. We both like Baltimore

to win. I like Baltimore to squeaking out. Mike's like
Baltimore in a big way. Miami and Buffalo, this is
I can't wait for this game tomorrow night. A right,
this is this is, this is set up perfectly for Saturday.
You have the first game that could be a blowout seging.
But now you're talking about Miami and Buffalo, and Miami's
got a lot of questions because suddenly their offense isn't

quite as good as it was. And Buffalo is sitting
around here and in forty five ft of snow going
Our offense is not what it was the last couple
of weeks. But I'll tell you this, give me the
bills easy in this one. Buffalo has had a couple
of really good defenses, right the last couple of weeks. Right,
you gotta give credit sometimes for credits doing that. Still,

they found a way and that's why they're a great team.
But that's kind of why they've been slowed down. Miami's
defense is middle of the pack. I mean, look, they're okay,
they're they're completely built on Hey, we gotta outscore teams
to win, and is that really going to happen? Buffalo
sees this as a we can win the division week.
Josh Allen balls out, he gets out of the frustration
to the last couple of weeks he's got slowed down.

They exhale, They score a ton of points, and to
a has a tough time getting the football down the
field because now the book is kind of out on
him and the book is out on the offense. Here's
how we can slow down Miami a little bit. Miami's
gotta find a way to readjust and I don't think
they do it. Tomorrogan's Buffalo on that defense. Give me
Buffalo in this one. Thirty seventeen. Buffalo seven point favorites

in this one. And as we we kind of break
it out, No Von Miller, that doesn't matter. You've got
guys getting healthy. Bit by bit. Total is forty three
and a half. We'll see what the weather conditions are.
But from Miami back to back week seventeen points. Offensive
line struggling, right, they've been missing tackles, component parts there

to uh under duress the If the timing isn't there,
it's not working. The run game is sputtered. Jeff Wilson
had the turnover and then he got hurt. So how
much are you gonna be able to rely on him
in this one? They also I hate to keep harping
on the the stat but it is the one that
matters most. They're tied for in fewest turnovers They've They've

forced twelve turnovers all season long. That's down with Indianapolis
and that's down with the Buccaneers. And we've watched the
Buccaneers from a game the game basis, outside of that
San Francisco game, they hadn't been given up a lot
of points, but they also hadn't been getting the big
plays that had been such a component of their defense

the last couple of years. You want to guess who's
who the least aggressive and opportunistic defenses are. Beyond those
those teams in the National Football League, I think he
could probably get to him pretty easy least opportunistic the
Jets the Raiders in the Saints. My next pick was

I was gonna say the Raiders, but next with the
Raiders because the Jet sea to get more turnovers. Raiders
have turnovers. Yeah, the defenses is awful because remember they
made their their big push. Chandler Jones outside of sorry Frostburg,

feel like Kyle Shanahan has the ability to pull the
strings right now. So brock Bird and about as good
a spot as you can be well, look, the circumstances
are perfect for this kid. But when I watch that
kid play, like I mean when I say he processes
so much faster, then like he so much fats and

then Garoppolo or tray Lands, it's ridiculous. And this it
always reminds me about like the so much of quarterback
you know, and I used to think like being a
great quarterback was physical. You have to be big and
strong and really far all these other things. And it's

like the older I get, the more it's like now
it's a lot close to you really need just need
to know what you have to do if you need
to If you know what you have to do a
and then be no what to do when things go wrong,
Like have some clue whether that's even just get on

the ground and don't get killed, right, have a clue

If you know that much you got you can play
in this league. And Brock Purties is proving that now.

about it. I feel as good today about their ability
to make the Super Bowl. And I'm not saying they're
going to okay, but I feel as good today as
I did when Garoppolo was out there, and I felt
like a lot better about their chance than making Super

making a Super Bowl, not winning it, but making it
with Garoppolo than with Trey Lands. So I don't think
they've dropped it all in and going to brock Purty again.
We've got three more games during the regular season to
see what happens. Washington is probably going to give them,
you know, pretty good run. You know they're watching. The
defense is pretty good, so they'll give them some pressure

and trying to figure them out. But you know, if
they only have to go through one of either the
Cowboys or the Eagles, and that's kind of how this
thing is going to shape up, because you know, Cowboys
are going to be the five seed in all likelihood,
So if they go in they beat Tampa Bay in
the first round, that sets up with Dallas having to

go to Philly, and that means the forty nine ors
that they can get through it only have to only
have to see one of them. Now that's a tough
road game, probably at Philly or you know, Dallas comes
to San Francisco, but they take their shot. I mean,
does anybody scared of Jalen Hurts or scared of Dak

Dak Prescott. I don't think so. Nobody's nobody's scared of
anybody's quarterback, except for of course Tom Brady. But that
team is so so not healthy that it's rolling. Look
at this. Look I'm all in on on brock Party.
We've talked about since you know, he first came in
the way he plays, not playing like a rookie. It's

almost like this. It's like brock Party is a better
Mike White and the Niners are a little bit better Jets.
That's kind of what they are a little bit what

guys on the Jets offense could start for the forty

They've been feuding all week. You can tell they're feeling good.
But Jacksonville's offense is playing terrific. Trevor Lawrence won the
game last week. And I was a little late on
him when I told you, I told you a couple

talking about how great he is. It took him two months,
but here he is. He has arrived as a quarterback

in the NFL. So I was a little early on
Trevor Lawrence. I was okay with that, but he has
played terrific. And Dallas is is one of those teams where, yes,
I can see them losing focus this week. They almost
lost to the Texans last week. And Jacksonville gets out
to like a fourteen nothing lead early and they just
keep scoring points. They don't turn the football over and

they win this game something like thirty. Uh. Give me
the Jaguars on the field, but I'll still take the fortune.
Of course, kirk Za Jones, who now has the most
receptions of any Jaguars receiver, and now Evan Ingram remember him,
ha ha, I'm back. I'm back. Uh narrow underdog in

this one, but I'm gonna take New England at Las
Vegas one and a half. Is your in line, Mac Jones? Yeah,
he may be a jag in your heart, but they're
good enough. Run game doesn't matter. Harris, Harris Stevenson, whoever
else wants to line up, bring back Corey Dillon. It'll
all work just the same. Not buying the Las Vegas

Raiders and that defense. Looking for New England to take
care of business on the defense and sub side of
things and put up just enough to take down the Raiders.
Oh see, I like that pick. This is a game
where New England goes out and takes care of things
and they wind up winning this game. I love that pick. Uh.
Now here's my theme for my second pick, because I

told you Dallas looking ahead of that big game and
in two weeks against the Philadelphia Eagles, give me your
Chicago Bears over the Eagles. They're getting note in a
half point. The Eagles are looking ahead. But Justin Fields
is playing at a high level. Don't look now, but
he has become a top ten ish quarterback in the NFL.

He doesn't have a lot of weapons. It doesn't matter.
It's gonna be a low scoring game, but he's gonna
run for a hundred yards and keep it closed. It'll
be a defensive struggle. Give me Chicago on the field
nineteen seventeen, but I am gonna take those nine and
a half points. My Carmen Chase Claypool ruled out for
this one. It's if they're gonna win. This game is

gonna be a big day Cole Commet and for David Montgomery,
and I think Fields is within ninety yards or ninety
five yards of a thousand rushing yards for the season,
which would make him. I believe it's the third quarterback
all time with thousand rushing yards. I like the number definitely,
And it would be curious to see if they can
sting him at home. Uh in front of the faithful.

Uh there, Uh yeah, Frostburg's gone, so I could say it.
Uh Tennessee, Derrick Henry runs the ball and Tennessee rediscovers
their identity and they get after Justin Herbert Did I
say them all as I like like Keenan Allen and
Mike Williams being back really changed his complexion of that
offense quite obviously, but the offensive line is still an issue,

and defensively, if Tennessee can get back to bullyball, could

it's the Carmelo Anthony Trophy. And so the looks so natural,
no one can tell. So what's exactly here's the John

Starks Award. I mean, come on, you can do this
all day long, you know. But it's funny you mentioned
trade and uh, the big game right now the Lakers
and the Nugget. It's five and a half to go
before halftime. Nuggets lead at Nikola. Yokich has twelve, A
d and Lebron each have ten for the Lakers, and
you mentioned trade and you know, one of the funny

things about the Lakers And I can say surge, but
but it's really not been a surge one. Are they
seven and five and their less? Oh they're hot, there's
seven to five. Yeah, okay, they've been playing a little
bit better. But I will say this because now that
the Lakers, and specifically a D and Lebron have decided, hey,
we need to buy in for a little bit here,
you know, we we we could have just walked away
(02:32):
at two and eleven and said hey, we're done, but
they decided to stay involved. And the Lakers are playing
a little bit better, right So that's good. What this
means is the Lakers are going to make a trade
very soon, and it's probably not going to be Westbrook
because he's playing even though he's not happy, he's playing
better off the bench, and it's gonna be one of
those trades involving around like Pat Beverley and a couple
(02:54):
of players and maybe none as well. You know, that's
kind of what they're looking at right now, because the
Lakers can just let this go this way, right they
with Lebron and a D playing better, this is now
putting pressure on the team and say, okay, hey we're
better now where we started out slow. That's great. We're
a little bit better now. We're probably a five team.
Hey we can get a shooter or something else, we
(03:15):
can be a lot better and maybe we can make
a run in the Western Conference. And the Lakers are
going to be pushed to making that trade. Now. They
only have one bullet to fire, right, they only go
we do this one's only they have a couple of
different assets they can move. Here, we can bring in
this player, and they only really have one bullet to fire.
So you gotta make it count. You gotta make sure
this is the move you want to do. But I
have no doubt the Lakers will make some kind of
(03:37):
big trade to help the team because with the big
star players saying, hey we can be a little bit better,
the pressures now in the Lakers to not to not
do nothing and to try to help the team. They'll
do it. But it's one bullet to fire, and they
really got to make account. Yeah, I think when it
comes down to it with the Russell Westbrook side of things,
we we've heard the last few days of that's all
(03:57):
cooled and how much better he's played. Don't know, maybe
it's just a per minute if we want to do
that fuzzy math for you and the the aesthetics the
the eye test of it all, it looks better and
more relaxed and less frenetic and out of sorts. But
that one seems to be at the end of the year,
that'll just come to its natural conclusion. Congratulations on a

job done. Uh So, now you start settling and looking
in at Kendrick Nunn, Patrick Beverley and whether those can
be spun off somewhere again with the idea hopefully that
whatever you're bringing back in return as you make these
salaries match, you're not picking up a whole bunch of

extra years, right that if these are ancillary parts, and
and spin the wheel and hope for just a little
better success, a little better outside shooting that you're you're
not beholden to a multi year deal on the back
end if it goes awry. Yeah, and and it's it.
I don't know that you are getting into the point

where it's that kind of money. Um, But because what
you're really gonna be able to trade his teams look
for financial flexibility, different things. We're getting a pick, we're
getting all that. I don't know that they're I think
they got burned too much with the Russell Westbrook thing
where that's not. That's not gonna be the move where
it's not gonna say, oh, here's a big time, big
player companies making a lot of money in this season. No,
(05:24):
it's gonna be something else. It's gonna be something to say,
what piece do we need to put around Lebron and
a D to make sure you know Lebron is gonna
say I need to shoot r I need a shoot her.
So I think it's gonna it's gonna be something more
like that. I don't think it's gonna wind up being
something expensive, but it's gonna be it's gonna be a
little nerve racking because they gotta make sure that this
is the right one, because there's no other move to make. Right.
(05:46):
You you have that, like I said, you have enough
assets to make one trade, and you've already you've held
off on so many times trading Russell Westbrook. You won't
do it. You won't do it, you won't do it. Okay,
So now you have this, but you really gotta make
it count. So whereas whereas I thought this would be
something that would happen sometime around now, I wouldn't be surprised.
It's got into the new year and it came where

the Lakers really went with a fine tooth comb over things, said, Okay,
we are positive this is the deal we have to
make that's gonna make us better because like I said,
it's only one. They only get to pull that trigger
once on it. I really just want to see the
couiser back four seven, five, three, six and shooting a
robust everything is at its best as he has the

option to opt out at the end of the year.
So Kyle Kuzma coming back. You know, some guys would
have to eat crow. Uh. In the front office, there'll
be a bunch of I told you so's and whatever else.
But you're trying to find viable component parts to help
the process and and if the goal is truly to

make a push for Lebron and a d while they're here,
while they're healthy, because that's the other part of it
is we're here in the middle of December and you're saying,
all right, here they are, and they're playing better to
your point seven and five to last twelve, So how
much better is better? They're competitive each night. The we
had Dan Woiki on the other night. Uh. We had

a great profile on Darvin Ham and you can see
that there is some of the attitude leaching through, but
how much does that get you to the winners circle? Like,
that's the larger things. So with those two guys playing healthy,
you're barely above five during that stretch, and it may
look a little better. You may play better basketball and
stretches against good teams. Con remember a lot of those
(07:31):
wins game against some of the dregs of the n
b A. But that game against the Celtics the other night,
look great, built a big lead, great comeback, miss free
throws and Lebron attempting a highlight top shot moment that
went awry, and then they lose an ot So all
of that effort still comes at a loss. So you
(07:55):
got to weigh all that if you're in that boardroom
to try to figure out, well, what what are we origaging,
what's the cost of admission, and what are we really
doing with these two guys, because even at their best,
we're still struggling. We could talk about how complicated other

and I differ on Indianapolis Minnesota. We both like Baltimore

to win. I like Baltimore to squeaking out. Mike's like
Baltimore in a big way. Miami and Buffalo, this is
I can't wait for this game tomorrow night. A right,
this is this is, this is set up perfectly for Saturday.
You have the first game that could be a blowout seging.
But now you're talking about Miami and Buffalo, and Miami's
got a lot of questions because suddenly their offense isn't
(08:59):
quite as good as it was. And Buffalo is sitting
around here and in forty five ft of snow going
Our offense is not what it was the last couple
of weeks. But I'll tell you this, give me the
bills easy in this one. Buffalo has had a couple
of really good defenses, right the last couple of weeks. Right,
you gotta give credit sometimes for credits doing that. Still,
(09:19):
they found a way and that's why they're a great team.
But that's kind of why they've been slowed down. Miami's
defense is middle of the pack. I mean, look, they're okay,
they're they're completely built on Hey, we gotta outscore teams
to win, and is that really going to happen? Buffalo
sees this as a we can win the division week.
Josh Allen balls out, he gets out of the frustration
to the last couple of weeks he's got slowed down.
(09:42):
They exhale, They score a ton of points, and to
a has a tough time getting the football down the
field because now the book is kind of out on
him and the book is out on the offense. Here's
how we can slow down Miami a little bit. Miami's
gotta find a way to readjust and I don't think
they do it. Tomorrogan's Buffalo on that defense. Give me
Buffalo in this one. Thirty seventeen. Buffalo seven point favorites
(10:03):
in this one. And as we we kind of break
it out, No Von Miller, that doesn't matter. You've got
guys getting healthy. Bit by bit. Total is forty three
and a half. We'll see what the weather conditions are.
But from Miami back to back week seventeen points. Offensive
line struggling, right, they've been missing tackles, component parts there
(10:25):
to uh under duress the If the timing isn't there,
it's not working. The run game is sputtered. Jeff Wilson
had the turnover and then he got hurt. So how
much are you gonna be able to rely on him
in this one? They also I hate to keep harping
on the the stat but it is the one that
matters most. They're tied for in fewest turnovers They've They've
(10:53):
forced twelve turnovers all season long. That's down with Indianapolis
and that's down with the Buccaneers. And we've watched the
Buccaneers from a game the game basis, outside of that
San Francisco game, they hadn't been given up a lot
of points, but they also hadn't been getting the big
plays that had been such a component of their defense
(11:14):
the last couple of years. You want to guess who's
who the least aggressive and opportunistic defenses are. Beyond those
those teams in the National Football League, I think he
could probably get to him pretty easy least opportunistic the
Jets the Raiders in the Saints. My next pick was
(11:35):
I was gonna say the Raiders, but next with the
Raiders because the Jet sea to get more turnovers. Raiders
have turnovers. Yeah, the defenses is awful because remember they
made their their big push. Chandler Jones outside of sorry Frostburg,
that big game against the Chargers has been wearing a cloak. Hey,

I just reports that news. Okay, I didn't the mess.
I'm just telling you where it's at all, right. I mean, look,
if you go in hindsight, you might be able to
file a letter of appeal with the league saying on
one of them that they put too much of the

I'm with you. But the Jets defense is not getting

good defensive to but they'll have me one defense. Okay,
that's how bad the Jets are with Zach Silson back

they'll get twenty three other points out of that. Yeah,

for for the for the Lions. That's what I like.

Who would have thought we'd be back? You know, they
were America's team in the preseason because of hard knocks,
and then they were terrible and everybody took out their
baseball bats again. Now Dan tables America's hero again. I
just want to know, like, if if they make the playoffs,
what will Dan Campbell do to celebrate? And I've asked

a lot of people this does he does? He He's
obviously going to be doing something completely naked right like
jumping into you know, into Lake Michigan, like passably running

if they have sixty five offensive plays, how many of
those does Zach Wilson know what he's supposed to do?
And I'm gonna say less than thirty two? No, I'm

the because he knows when he has to hand the
ball off. So that's that's something. The handoffs are pretty
pretty good. Now, I say this they're gonna bot a
hand that we judge quarter the handoff. Now I have
to think going forward. He's gonna have, you know, like
the muff to keep the hands warm. He's gonna throw
a bunch of dirt on the ground after each play

and he's gonna literally draw it in the sand. Here's
the play I want you to do. Pretend that's the buick. Now,
let's go to it. But button hook, right, you just
wait water back at the Jets next year. You just wait. Now.
The thing with brock Purty right, because it becomes the
prisoner of the moment and everybody getting all anxious, Like,

I don't know if I feel pretty good about most quarterbacks.
If I could slide him in with with this level
of the offensive line, nothing's getting around Trent Williams. You're
feeling pretty secure there. Uh, And you've got healthy George Kittle,
Brandon Ayuku was quiet and Christian McCaffrey at the peak man,
and you're doing it when you had debo and now
you lose him. He got some skill position guys. I
(19:55):
feel like Kyle Shanahan has the ability to pull the
strings right now. So brock Bird and about as good
a spot as you can be well, look, the circumstances
are perfect for this kid. But when I watch that
kid play, like I mean when I say he processes
so much faster, then like he so much fats and
(20:18):
then Garoppolo or tray Lands, it's ridiculous. And this it
always reminds me about like the so much of quarterback
you know, and I used to think like being a
great quarterback was physical. You have to be big and
strong and really far all these other things. And it's
(20:38):
like the older I get, the more it's like now
it's a lot close to you really need just need
to know what you have to do if you need
to If you know what you have to do a
and then be no what to do when things go wrong,
Like have some clue whether that's even just get on
(20:59):
the ground and don't get killed, right, have a clue
about what you want to do when things go wrong.
If you know that much you got you can play
in this league. And Brock Purties is proving that now.
Yes they have a lot of talent, they've got great defense,
that a lot of support, yes, absolutely, but right now
(21:21):
and I was talking to a foregnerative assistant coach today
about it. I feel as good today about their ability
to make the Super Bowl. And I'm not saying they're
going to okay, but I feel as good today as
I did when Garoppolo was out there, and I felt
like a lot better about their chance than making Super
(21:41):
making a Super Bowl, not winning it, but making it
with Garoppolo than with Trey Lands. So I don't think
they've dropped it all in and going to brock Purty again.
We've got three more games during the regular season to
see what happens. Washington is probably going to give them,
you know, pretty good run. You know they're watching. The
defense is pretty good, so they'll give them some pressure
(22:03):
and trying to figure them out. But you know, if
they only have to go through one of either the
Cowboys or the Eagles, and that's kind of how this
thing is going to shape up, because you know, Cowboys
are going to be the five seed in all likelihood,
So if they go in they beat Tampa Bay in
the first round, that sets up with Dallas having to
(22:26):
go to Philly, and that means the forty nine ors
that they can get through it only have to only
have to see one of them. Now that's a tough
road game, probably at Philly or you know, Dallas comes
to San Francisco, but they take their shot. I mean,
does anybody scared of Jalen Hurts or scared of Dak
(22:47):
Dak Prescott. I don't think so. Nobody's nobody's scared of
anybody's quarterback, except for of course Tom Brady. But that
team is so so not healthy that it's rolling. Look
at this. Look I'm all in on on brock Party.
We've talked about since you know, he first came in
the way he plays, not playing like a rookie. It's
(23:09):
almost like this. It's like brock Party is a better
Mike White and the Niners are a little bit better Jets.
That's kind of what they are a little bit what
he did there, Yeah, a little bit better. How many
guys on the Jets offense could start for the forty
offense and the Forts offense? It's pretty good, it's not great,
(23:33):
But how many guys on the Jets offense could start
for the forty hours? Oh look, the forty nine skilled
when you talk about that's zero. Well he went immediately
went into an explanation instead of naming immediately, let me
name them. It was let me say this, Yeah, that's me.

It's a little it's a little bit better, right, is it? Well,
Garrett Wilson could clearly start now because Debo is out,
so you have that. But you know, the the Niners,
I would say, I would take Garrett Wilson over over iook,
certainly right, that would be number one. Is he better
than Debo? Now he's not better than Debo right now.
He probably will become better than him, But they would

take Garrett Wilson certainly over Io. Other than that, I
mean the offensive line. You know, Dwayne Brown, I mean
Dwayne Brown versus Turnt Williams. Now is Turnt Williams. Um
I said a little bit better that the Niners are
a little bit better. The Jets are color a lot
better because they've got real web, they've actually got real weapons.

I mean, come on, you're watching the Jets offense. I
mean my fault, Breese Hall got hurt. Breese Hall was fantastic,
the refall was. But I'm talking about today, the group
that they have today, Um, they're a little bit better.
They're a little bit better. I wow. The definition of

little bit? So is Matt Campbell gonna be a head
coaching candidate again because of the success of Brock Birdie

I like it because of the way Trevor Lawrence has
been playing, but he's on the questionable tag at his foot. Yeah,

right for a loss all week long. They and the
Eagles have been going back and forth. They got their

eyes on this big game next week on Christmas Eve.
They've been feuding all week. You can tell they're feeling good.
But Jacksonville's offense is playing terrific. Trevor Lawrence won the
game last week. And I was a little late on
him when I told you, I told you a couple
of months ago. Hey, in a month, we're gonna be
talking about how great he is. It took him two months,
but here he is. He has arrived as a quarterback

in the NFL. So I was a little early on
Trevor Lawrence. I was okay with that, but he has
played terrific. And Dallas is is one of those teams where, yes,
I can see them losing focus this week. They almost
lost to the Texans last week. And Jacksonville gets out
to like a fourteen nothing lead early and they just
keep scoring points. They don't turn the football over and

they win this game something like thirty. Uh. Give me
the Jaguars on the field, but I'll still take the fortune.
Of course, kirk Za Jones, who now has the most
receptions of any Jaguars receiver, and now Evan Ingram remember him,
ha ha, I'm back. I'm back. Uh narrow underdog in

this one, but I'm gonna take New England at Las
Vegas one and a half. Is your in line, Mac Jones? Yeah,
he may be a jag in your heart, but they're
good enough. Run game doesn't matter. Harris, Harris Stevenson, whoever
else wants to line up, bring back Corey Dillon. It'll
all work just the same. Not buying the Las Vegas

Raiders and that defense. Looking for New England to take
care of business on the defense and sub side of
things and put up just enough to take down the Raiders.
Oh see, I like that pick. This is a game
where New England goes out and takes care of things
and they wind up winning this game. I love that pick. Uh.
Now here's my theme for my second pick, because I

told you Dallas looking ahead of that big game and
in two weeks against the Philadelphia Eagles, give me your
Chicago Bears over the Eagles. They're getting note in a
half point. The Eagles are looking ahead. But Justin Fields
is playing at a high level. Don't look now, but
he has become a top ten ish quarterback in the NFL.

He doesn't have a lot of weapons. It doesn't matter.
It's gonna be a low scoring game, but he's gonna
run for a hundred yards and keep it closed. It'll
be a defensive struggle. Give me Chicago on the field
nineteen seventeen, but I am gonna take those nine and
a half points. My Carmen Chase Claypool ruled out for
this one. It's if they're gonna win. This game is

gonna be a big day Cole Commet and for David Montgomery,
and I think Fields is within ninety yards or ninety
five yards of a thousand rushing yards for the season,
which would make him. I believe it's the third quarterback
all time with thousand rushing yards. I like the number definitely,
And it would be curious to see if they can
sting him at home. Uh in front of the faithful.

Uh there, Uh yeah, Frostburg's gone, so I could say it.
Uh Tennessee, Derrick Henry runs the ball and Tennessee rediscovers
their identity and they get after Justin Herbert Did I
say them all as I like like Keenan Allen and

offense quite obviously, but the offensive line is still an issue,

and defensively, if Tennessee can get back to bullyball, could
