and their starters haven't been overly great, either and that's
been another issue so you know they've been all injured
and kind of filtering. Through so you're bringing in multiple
relievers in a, game and there's gonna be a like

one of them is gonna have a bad, night and
the more guys you have to bring, in the odds
of one of them having a bad night go up
and up and. Up it's like The game Of, Miami
miami'stop what was that game? Show Pure, yeah eventually you're
gonna hit the. Whammy you, know eventually you're gonna bring
in a guy that just having a bad night and
and that's. It lead.

six one of those, guys the odds of one of

those guys having a bad, night especially when the overall
quality of those relievers goes down and down and down
because you're losing good. Arms it's like a ticking time.
Bomb it's a whammie waiting to. Happen so The dodgers
really need to address this because the padres are nipping
on their. Heels AND i think because of the lack of,
sellers like we just talked TO Jp, morosi the lack
of overall sellers in the, market there's gonna be less

good quality pitchers. Available so this is a supply and
demand problem that The dodgers are gonna. HAVE i, mean
how many great pitchers are gonna be out? There so
this is gonna be a really interesting ten day period
here before the. Deadline there you.

that it was the late Great Peter, tamarkin the original

you Watch the raiders the first, nine games they were two.

bit of a step back because they've been so damn
consistent for. So long eventually they're going to have to
have a year where they're maybe not as consistent winning these,
close games and you could see reasons, for optimism, you

know to make, THE playoffs i think is a very
fair bet at three to one. RIGHT now i mean
there's seven teams that make the playoffs IN. The afc
obviously we Think the chiefs are going to be one,
of THEM but i think there's going to be another
one IN The, afc west maybe even TWO More afc west.
Playoff TEAMS and i don't see Why the raiders, can't compete.
FOR one I think they've got all the pieces, In,
place Mike and i'm very optimistic this offense is going

to look.

the more guys you have to bring, in the odds
of one of them having a bad night go up
and up and. Up it's like The game Of, Miami
miami'stop what was that game? Show Pure, yeah eventually you're
gonna hit the. Whammy you, know eventually you're gonna bring
in a guy that just having a bad night and
and that's. It lead.

of overall sellers in the, market there's gonna be less

there is at least a little optimism here because when
you Watch the raiders the first, nine games they were two.

was more early. Down success they had a higher passing
rate on, first downs more play action like modern offensive

Raiders have relatively speaking to the rest OF. The, Nfl
Right ohio state's players were so much better than the
rest of college football. Last Year the raiders players, are
good but they're not at that.

what he can do with players and scheming things.

bit of a step back because they've been so damn
consistent for. So long eventually they're going to have to
have a year where they're maybe not as consistent winning these,
close games and you could see reasons, for optimism, you

know to make, THE playoffs i think is a very
fair bet at three to one. RIGHT now i mean
there's seven teams that make the playoffs IN. The afc
obviously we Think the chiefs are going to be one,
of THEM but i think there's going to be another
one IN The, afc west maybe even TWO More afc west.
Playoff TEAMS and i don't see Why the raiders, can't compete.
FOR one I think they've got all the pieces, In,
place Mike and i'm very optimistic this offense is going

to look.

if you're gonna, ask me and they're not going to
take the same Path Because jaydon daniels is very Different Than.

team which is currently an underdog to make? The playoffs
and by, the way if you go to, the odds
there are more teams favored to make the playoffs than,
playoff spots, Right sure like there's sixteen teams with a
minus sign next to their name to make the playoff's
only four ten spots and the. Extra team and really

there's one of them that's like right on. The Edge
so i'll say officially fifteen teams that extra teams IN.
The nfc so if you're betting on a yes team
to make the playoffs IN, the nfc you might have
a pretty darn good. Reason why because it's musical chairs
and there's seven spots and there's eight. Teams favored so
it's kind of a weird dance we play with. The Numbers,
but vegas, to me Matches what i'm looking for when

you're asking the question who can Be the commanders Or.
The vikings actually that's probably a. Better Example the vikings
of last year win total six and. A half they win.
Fourteen games Can the raiders win? Fourteen, games no that
was a very outlier Year. For MINNESOTA but I Put
chip kelly on the same Plane as kevin O'Connell in

terms of. OFFENSIVE minds i hold them in very. High
regard And obviously KOs was the, head coach so the dynamic.
Is DIFFERENT but i think to your point about when
you came in off the Top with, GENOS quote i
feel the same Way About. Pete carroll he didn't Come
to vegas to be a six to seven, Win guy
like that's the Expectation for vegas, this year but that's

not why he. Came here he wants to win ten
games and compete for, the playoffs just like he did
pretty much every Year with seattle until. The. End yeah so,
to me that's like the floors like they want to
win eight nine games and they want to be in
the mix of. The playoffs that to me is like
the low end of.

i try to remove that from, my brain as hard as.
IT is i feel the same way about injuries year
to year now, directionally speaking like the Forty nine ers,

last year who also had the highest net rest disadvantage
of any team IN the nfl in terms of days,
between games and then of course it was compounded by all.
These injuries, Directionally speaking is it fair to Assume the
niners are going to be healthier this year than? Last,
year yeah the bar is really low. For that but
it's really hard to predict a when the, injuries come
