Mike and I love putting this contown out for you
every single night. Now. Game four of the World Series
goes to the Blue Jays six to two, and we've
covered what we could see in Game five from a
lot of different angles. We've talked about the Dodger bullpen,
(01:13):
We've talked about the Shojo Tani covering up for what's
a bad hitting team because the Dodgers just don't hit.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
We got from John Paulmrosi, like, look, the Blue Jays
are a team that they grind out at bats. Dodgers
aren't that team. They're a free swinging team. We're gonna
get up there, we're gonna swing the bat, and we're
gonna put runs up on the board. And well, this
is what happens sometimes when that goes on, That's what happens, Larry.
But team batting average is something for the course of
the year.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Right.
Speaker 5 (01:39):
We didn't have a lot of heavy hitters. Right, We
only had eight guys finished with a three hundred batting average.
Most teams were in the tank. The fact that they
hit about two point fifty eight, it's fantastic compared to
where we're at with the Dodges. Right, that's a world
of difference in Hey, you look.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
We got it.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
We got a hit in an Inny. That's great.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
H We talked about what to expect in Game five tomorrow.
I expect Blake Snell to pitch like an ace. It's
why he's getting the ball. That's why he's getting the
ball in these situations. Just look at his home road splits.
I expect a big night from at Dodger Stadium, the
Dodgers to go back to Toronto with a three to two lead.
All that being said, there is one thing that the
Blue Jays have that the Dodgers don't that's not changing
(02:25):
anytime soon. Well yeah, maple syrup. Hey, a lot of
talks at Maple Syrup ain't gonna be easy to get,
and you know pretty soon.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
To get.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
It's gonna be very difficult.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
But there's one thing and it's not gonna change, right,
And you saw a lot of it, and a lot
of it was spotlighted today in what we saw during
the game and what we heard after the game. Baseball
season being the marathon it is. You get to the
World Series, you need people to step up. You need
people to step up in darkest times. And coming off
(03:02):
of last night blue Jays lose Freddie Feeman the walk
off home run, You're thinking, this could be it, this
is it for the Blue Jays. They're gonna show up,
go through the motions. They're done. But the Blue Jays
all said to a man, hey, Vlad Junior waited for
everybody to come off that field last night and said, hey,
this isn't over. You got to win four games to
(03:23):
win the World Series, not too. They got to win
two more. It takes four, not to It takes four,
not two. Right, he is there, good emotional touchstone right
Also one of the best players in baseball outside of Otani.
If it wasn't Otani, we'd say, wow, this unbelievable postseason
Vlad Junior is having because he is, and what happens today,
Vlad Junior backs it up the big home run off Otani,
(03:45):
because when you beat the best, that's the biggest moment
right there. Obviously they won six to two, But when
your best hitter beats Otani and he throws a cutter
and Vlad Junior puts it into the seats, like, that's
not just a big denting the scoreboard, that's a big
mental lift as well. And that's also here's our best
player telling us to believe. And look what he does
(04:08):
for us.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Well, Johnny got him the first time, right, strikes out
his first at bat, and then revenge.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
All the Blue Jays talked about after the game was
that we all believe, we all believe in each other.
Everybody was the same guy. V led the things he
said last night, right to get us back from that.
And look, clearly he is their leader in a lot
of different ways, and you win that way. After the
game today, what do we get from the Dodgers? Choeo
(04:34):
Tani said, hey, it's a great team. The least we
could do is score some runs. Dave Roberts said, hey,
it's a great team. It's ted, they're talented, they're resilient.
It's gonna be a great series. The Dodgers played today
like they were running in mud because they come off
the win last night. Clearly the Blue Jays are going
to be the more desperate team you would think they are.
None of the Dodgers thought, we're just gonna show up
today with show hey pitching, and we're gonna win, and
(04:56):
we're just gonna go out there and just out talent
them because we're at home off the win. It's gonna
be three to one and we go for the throat
tomorrow with Blake Snell. But they played flat today. They
played absolutely flat, and they didn't have any jump. And
you could tell when Dave Roberts at two to one,
when the game is two to one and he's bringing
in his lower leverage relievers like that's a sign. Hey, guys,
(05:17):
this is not our day. And I don't know that
you guys can come back from this. I need somebody
from the Dodgers to stand up and say this was
unbleep and acceptable today. This was absolutely unacceptable, and there's
nobody to do that. Otani's not that guy. Mookie Betts
is not that guy. Freddie Freeman's not that guy not
saying they need to be and Kurshed be that guy
(05:38):
if he can't come in the pitch.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Hey, guys, I mean now I'm not playing again.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
But you guys got and this is not anything against
and this is just who they are as players. But
it's just showing you what what the Blue Jays have
and the Dodgers don't. They have a guy who will
plant the flag and say let's go, and the Dodgers don't.
They just don't have it. They have a lot of
talented players. You could follow Freddie Freeman and follow show
hey and follow guys, and they're playing well. But maybe
(06:01):
the closest thing to it is Blake Snell. But he's
a pitcher and he pitches once every five days, right,
Y'amamoto is not that guy and Otani, even when he's
on the mountain, is not that guy. So and and
and Tyler Glasno is not that guy. There's nobody else
out there that can grab the Dodgers and say this
is unacceptable and if we're gonna win, we can't have
(06:22):
another performance like we had today where we walked up
and we looked like we were going through slow motion.
We cannot have that. And the Dodgers don't have that guy.
And that's a big thing.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Well, they reportedly it's the generally, it's where Mooki bets
stepped forward. The hard part is he's struggling right now.
So how much uh he he can be vocal without
really just pointing the finger at himself for some of
his bats becomes difficult show hey, is that guy to
a degree? And then you've got a long standing veteran
(06:54):
in Rojas, So, I mean, you got a couple of
guys that, in theory can But generally it's worked itself out,
is the thing?
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Right?
Speaker 5 (07:03):
The funks whatever, And look, the pitching staff and the
reliever corps is a whole other ball of wax. But
right now, in terms of at bats, it's trying to
figure out exactly how you get that message across the ad.
Bats have to be better, whether it's an extra pitch
or two. You can't be first ball swinging when you
(07:26):
got a guy on the on the ropes, right, which
is what we've seen in a number of these circumstances.
Go back to even last night's They got the win eventually,
but I remember when call with a two to zero
count decides to swing in a pitch that would have
been ball three and hits a pop up, right. So
all of those things, you know, come back on you
really fast. And we're talking about a team that's hitting
(07:46):
two hundred for this World Series that, outside of a
couple of those big blow up congo line games against
the Reds, has struggled and even much of the season,
like we watched them battle through, and some of it
you could explain in a way to injuries. Some of
it just lack of cohesion, trying to get guys back
(08:07):
in their rotation for the starters, and then look at
what your lineup was for much of the year, kind
of guys bouncing in and out of the lineup. But
where you're at right now, I mean, I don't know
who gives that message. Is it just you need the
resounding thump of the city of Los Angeles. I mean,
you're professionals, right, you should need fire and brimstone speeches
(08:29):
with this kind of thing at.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
The line on the line. No, I think you kind
of do. Sometimes.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
I think any sort of emotional lift you can get,
this is the finish line is right here. You want
to say, yeah, you should be motivated, but sometimes you
need that. Sometimes the postseason is a long slog, and
you can lose a little bit of your direction. When
you think, Okay, hey, we've been doing well so far.
We just went hot knife through butter through the Milwaukee Brewers,
and we think the world's you can think, oh no,
we're Jay's a Dame jan jer. We just beat the
(08:55):
best team in baseball and it wasn't even close. It's
a four game sweep and we just pitched lights out.
Are we really gonna have trouble with the Jays? Now?
Sometimes you need somebody to say, hey, just gonna shake
you aroun a little bit and say, don't don't take
your eye off the prize here a little bit. Let's
understand that we're not just gonna walk on the field
and win games and the Dodgers kind of walk on
the field today like they expected to win this game.
(09:16):
Is something was just gonna happen, and it wasn't. The
Jays were much more ready for this game. And clearly
you see a guy like Vlad Junior when when they
say he's our guy, we follow He talked to us
after the game last night and told us what we
needed to do today. We had a great metal approach
today in Vlad Junior. Then he stepped up and hit
the big home run. The Dodgers don't have a guy
like that, so coming back from a loss like this,
(09:37):
like that's why I'm really curious to see tomorrow, Like
what do you gotta do? Like I mean, that's why
the Dodgers have to change your lineup tomorrow and drop
Mookie Bets down and move some other guys up. And
you gotta do something to sub find some kind of
spark because this has not been a sparkful team. You've
not hit the baseball. Your bullpen was terrible today, Like
you need, you need something, and you don't have the
guy that's gonna stand up and say it. So you
(09:58):
gotta hope today we can kind of, you know, maneuver
and just you know, patch stuff together and and hope
to get a different resultout.
Speaker 5 (10:04):
A guy going and just screaming and yelling and looking
and glad saying what he did, and everybody sticking up
that's great. And I'm sure there were plenty of speeches
had between Dave Roberts and everybody else because how much
was everybody lauding him yesterday saying, hey, don't forget we
have a game tomorrow. Uh huh, sure it's two games
to one, Like that's not a big revelatory statement. Yet
(10:26):
he was lauded all day like, oh, Dave keeping the
eye on the prize.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Like, what what the hell is he gonna say?
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Go sleep, have a sandwich, get some sleep because we
we we got a game tomorrow. Okay, great, ready break.
That's It's it's like the episode where where Homer goes
to work for Scorpio. Hey, could you guys be working
any faster? And then they start typing a little fast? Okay, great?
Speaker 1 (10:50):
But sometimes you know, any any little bit, any emotional
edge that you need, any kind of reminder, Yeah, it helps.
It helped because you get in the play in the
playoffs generally, and you hear there's from a lot of coaches, right,
not not so much to the NFL, because the NFL
the detail of coaching all the time, but when you
have a marathon type playoffs, whether it's Major League Baseball
(11:12):
or college basketball or the NBA, when when it comes
to your approach to every game, here a lot of
coaches say, honestly, I do a lot of less coaching
in the playoffs than I've done during the season because
everything that we've taught that we've wanted to be like,
we have the message out there, and so the playoffs
is about putting everything together being motivated again. But the
(11:34):
teaching and all the stuff that we can do, all
that that that's all that's all gone now of course,
So this is where hey, in the in the postseason,
when you're not really learning, it's something hey to have
someone be that person that is your leader, that can
do nothing but help. I mean, look, the Dodgers won
last year with the same roster basically, right, they didn't
have it. They were fortunate enough to win last year.
(11:55):
But did the Yankees have a guy like Aaron Judges
not standing up saying that was all unacceptable in this
and this and this and this, No, Aaron Judge is
worried about dropping fly balls. Garrett Cole and Anthony Rizzoll
blaming themselves each other on different things. The Yankees don't
have that guy either, So Yankees and Dodgers. It's not
like the Dodgers missed that last year. But now here's
Vladd Junior. Who is that emotional touchstone. It can be
a thing. We've seen that in the playoffs before from
(12:17):
teams that step up and with emotionally just hey, nothing crazy,
just understand this, and you can flush a bad performance
and be ready to get back out there. And when
you see a guy tell you to do it and
he does it himself, that's bleeping inspired.
Speaker 5 (12:30):
No, But it's the difficulty, right of riding the lightning,
because what have the Dodgers been lauded for in much
of this run. The fact that it's been even keeled,
business like, not over celebrating, not getting too caught up
in the individual games, right, all right, shake hands on
the field. Yeah, they do the post game and finish
(12:51):
this series celebrations as you should. But all of that
to say, it's that businesslike approach that is being one
of the hallmarks of what the organization is.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Right.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
The expectation is that you're playing and winning in the
World Series, other than a guy walking around banging a
trash can to wake their asses up at the plate.
And I mean that just only to get them excitable
at them.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Any other kind of.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
A lot of cheating. There was a lot of cheating.
George Springer was banging the trash can today. I am
not what else she doing, but I could still.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Look, man, I I can't.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
I can't swing a bat because of my oblique but boy,
I can do that thing like the wind up a little.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Drummer boy that we got.
Speaker 5 (13:39):
So yeah, it's different, different approaches, And I'm sure we'll
get some report of someone having, you know, that little
coach speech that they stole from Miracle or something that
they played. But you know, for the Dodgers, been there,
got gotta just have better at bats. I mean, I
don't know what the magic breakthrough is gonna be for
(14:01):
Mookie Bets. Hey, don't show I get a first pitch.
Stop popping the ball up. You're gonna yell at him.
I mean, what, hey, Mookie, stop popping the ball up.
See I just did but yelled at him.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
But I'm just saying, like, what was I doing. I'd
rather have Land Junior than you. Wow, I'd rather have
Led the third than you. I'd rather I'd rather have Vlad.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
I don't know, I'm out of lads, bloody de Sure
all I can think of his Lenen and sure yeah,
but I don't want to rather have Ptin than you.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Love that's the leader you wanted. That was loud. Maybe
I come in to play Tomato. I played baseball game.
Don't show up, uh, I come in on a horse shirt.
Place that will inspire greatness? What are you doing, Jason?
I like my sister.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
She is number three prostitute than all of con whoa
whoa from the movie from the No Sure this is
a family show, number four, number on.
Speaker 2 (15:00):

Fox Sports Radio Jason Smith Show with my best friend
Mike Harmon. You know, I gotta say I really enjoy
when I see people encountering and absorbing things for the
first time. Okay, I had a nice conversation with Alex
ty Shirt. Here's the Alex hold you now thirty one?
Speaker 2 (16:31):
What do you know?
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Twenty two and watching Austin Powers for the very first time?
Speaker 2 (16:38):
How about that You're gonna baby? Yeah, I shagged it rowten.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
See here's the thing you're saying that now it sounds cool.
But that's so like blase for everybody that's seen that
movie and nine times going yes, you shagged a rotten yes,
yeah baby, you know how many times? You know how
yeah baby is such a cliche now, like no baby,
and he's gonna be saying it now for like the
next two weeks.
Speaker 5 (17:04):
Well he gotta said that like Beavis, he didn't go
full Mike Myers. Yeah yeah, yeah, either way, we're still
in the late nineties. Be it the movie or Beavis.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Alex tyshirt is like watching a movie from like twenty
six years ago.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah yeah, it's got nothing else better to do.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, doesn't have a girlfriend that yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah yeah, doesn't have any more Pokemon cards itself.
Yeah yeah yeah yeah Tlex Tischer, Yeah, chuck the baby, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah, only sailors do. Baby. That's not my bag, baby,
it is it is. That's not mine.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
It says for danger powers No danger is my middle name. Okay, alright,
we're gonna stop that kid in there. Jason's got a
sweetish made one in his trunk. Hey down, as far
as you know, I do, not in the truck. It's
got your name, not in the trunk, not in the trunk.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Uh So.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Two big stories out of the NFL. I just let's
talk and between y'all. Yeah, baby, let's talk about the
Cowboys first. Okay, because I have a different take on
the Cowboys. I'm gonna zigger. You think I'm gonna zag,
you be Oh my goodness, I'm gonna be both predictable
and unpredictable at the same time. Okay, So the last
(18:24):
couple of days following the Cowboys getting beat up by
the by the Broncos, Jerry Jones has gone from maybe
one player away from the super Bowl to uh, maybe
not one player away from the super Bowl. Like this
loss to the Broncos seems to have really just crushed them,
like and and and look, I expect them to come
in and have a great day offensively, they did not,
(18:45):
and the Broncos did, which I think is more of
a credit to how good the Broncos are. Remember I
got the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. But now,
all of a sudden, I feel like that the Cowboys
are despondent and changing their strategy. Are they really going
to be aggressed with the trade deadline? And uh, I
want to say this, right yo, Jase, you've been down
on the Cowboys all yeh, but but high up on
the offense. You've been down on the Cowboys a team. Yeah,
(19:08):
the offense, I said from the beginning, was going to
be really good. Don't be that team that gets into
a shootout with them, because you could lose. But the
offense is even better than I expected. If it's not
the best offense in the league, it's the second best
offense in the league. That's how good they are, right
between them, the Lions the Colts. Like, that's how good.
That's how elite this offense is. They had a bad
(19:28):
game Sunday, that's all it was, right, But yeah, yet
for some reason this game is being treated as Wow,
here they go after riding high on the on the
horse for a while and scored a ton of points,
they had a bad game.
Speaker 5 (19:39):
Well, what I didn't understand where it is that Denver
was a top five defense. Yes, it's gonna use so
you had a half to try to make some hey
with them not there. But all that to say, they
were one of the best defenses in the game coming
into the week.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
It's like people forget that.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Yeah, that's how good this Broncos defense is and and
they're one of the time again, one of the top
five defense in the league. They're playing at home now.
I expected them to have a little bit of a
flat performance because when you're coming off of the three
point fourth quarter the Giants and escaping, Okay, this is
gonna be one of those weeks where okay, we just
we have to reset and the emotion has to come
back up. But they win, and they win the big win,
(20:14):
big offensively again, and all of a sudden, suddenly things
are looking great for the Broncos. But for the Cowboys, Yeah,
you've been great every game this season. Your offensive. Bet
you had a bad game on the road. It happens, right,
once in a while, you lay an egg. But there's
been nothing stopping this offense so far. Stay aggressive, Go
get that player you think it is. Don't worry about Okay, well,
(20:36):
if we make a trade now, everybody's gonna say it
should have kept Micah didn't work. God's going make that move.
Go get that player or two. Maybe it happens. Don't
give away a season in which your offense is playing
this well. If this is the Cowboys offense was good
and is the top ten offense. They're playing really well. Okay, no,
you're not doing that. You're not saying well, but this
(20:57):
is you're having a top three season, maybe a top two,
maybe the top offense in the game, right and week
to week, that's where you are.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
So don't give that away. Try to make a couple
of moves right and go out and get somebody.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
Right.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
You have the draft picks if you want to go
get a big defensive player to come in, right. You
have the draft picks to bring somebody in to rush
the passer. You have a draft pick if you want
for a shutdown corner. You have the draft picks to
move you traded Mike Aparton. Don't need to make that pick,
but it might get you something that's even better. So
go ahead and do it. But I feel like the
Cowboys are there like questioning, now, hey, where do we go?
(21:28):
What's our future going to be?
Speaker 6 (21:29):
Do it? Really?
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Go and make them make the move, be aggressive, Go
do it because your offense is that good. It's just
a bad game. Everybody has them. Some teams have more
than others, but this was just one bad game. They'll
get back on it next week. Because the offense is
clicking that high. It's just that good.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
Well, I think part of it is that outside of
that quarter that you saw against the Giants, the Broncos
offense is inconsistent, would be the kind way to say it.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Through the first eight weeks of the season.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
Obviously a big barrage with Franklin and everybody getting involved
against Cowboys. Oh reminder, Cowboys defense stinks. Okay, they didn't
and I'm not an Eberflus guy, but they did that
guy wrong.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Here's what we planned all off season. What happened.
Speaker 5 (22:17):
We traded the best player that you built your whole
defense around right before the season.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Good luck, I take that guy out. Okay, well, and
then Diggs is hurt.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
But there's a lot of you know, behind the scenes
curiosity there Micah Parsons speaking out, Hey, they did you wrong.
So it's like, all right, what else is going on here?
But that was one of your key components to your
secondary He was hurt and then now he's on the
ir for the next month. So trying to get him
and Bland on the field together to at least shore
(22:47):
up things on the edges has been a difficult proposition.
And you got no pass rush whatsoever. The stopping the
run thing that you did with that trade. Yeah, it
works so well either, but so you're gonna have to
win shootout of the shootout, but your help by the
fact that your division is a curiosity. Has Philadelphia figured
things out? Maybe did they trade aj Brown? Maybe the
(23:08):
Giant stink and they just lost the heart and soul
of that squad with the the ankle injury to Scatabo
uh and then Washington. Are you believing they're suddenly going
to go on a run.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
I don't think they're that good. But that's just me.
Speaker 6 (23:21):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (23:22):
In a lot of one one possession wins a year ago,
usually those kind of you know, even out the next year.
Jade Daniels, will he be able to stay on the field.
I don't wish it against him, just it's a question
at this point because he was hurt last year for
a spell and they he's missed time here. And Marcus
Mariota is a guy that's throwing the ball out of
the end zone on a fourth down play fourth, fourth
(23:42):
and three, Okay, I throw it out of here? Why
would you just throw it to a defender and make
him catch it, keep it in the field and play.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Now, let's give him the possession here. Whatever.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
But so the division is still there with a little
bit of a charge. You got a schedule here, there's
a couple of spots along the way. But the next
two games are against Arizona and Las Vegas, two games
that you should be able to go and win.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Now, you said Vegas. And this gets us to our
next topic, right, Colvi, go do it, go do it.
It's a bad game they have. Drake May is getting
so much push to be the NFL MVP, and we
need to stop this right now. Five to one, maybe
stop third. It's stupid. I get that now, right. We
tried to make mac Jones and to Tom Brady. That
(24:28):
didn't work. Now we're gonna make Drake May into Tom Brady.
Look how good Drake May is? Okay, Drake May is good.
It's having a good year.
Speaker 5 (24:35):
Two thousand yards, fifteen touchdowns, three interceptions, a bunch of rushing.
He's rushing yards, a couple of touchdowns, and he's not
turning the ball over. He's doing issues last year.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
No, he's really good. He's really good. He's not nearly
the MVP. You know why, because every team the Patriots
have played stinks. They all stink.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
He's eating W's.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
This is the easiest schedule in the NFL, and five
years it has to be. Here's where they've got to
get to their six and two mark. The Raiders who stink.
Miami they stink. Pittsburgh defense stinks. They're coming back to Earth.
Carolina stinks four floor Carolina. Carolina stinks. Buffalo not bad.
(25:17):
Good win over Buffalo, right, go win over Buffalo. Okay,
Saints stink out loud. You lean Tyler shuck along. Tennessee
stinks out loud. The Browns stink out loud. They're six
and two against all these teams at stink and they
still haven't played the Jets yet. They gotta play the
Jets twice. And oh, by the way, they also get Cincinnati,
who stinks. The Giants their defense they stink. They get
(25:41):
Baltimore they stink, and Miami's defense stinks. So they get
all the It's not like the schedule gets harder. It's
kind of like I can say, you just wait, Drake
may is gonna wind up facing some real opportuity. No,
they play Tampa Bay and Buffalo the rest of the way.
Everybody else stinks. This is the easiest schedule the NFL
has seen in five years, and the Patriots and Drake
(26:01):
Mayer saying, well, all we're doing is showing up. Order's
showing up and executing against these teams? Why because they
all stink?
Speaker 5 (26:08):
Well against Cleveland, he was he met the wrong side
of Miles Garrett. What five times?
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Yeah, I mean really hit that make five times and
still they win a game thirty two to thirteen.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Heaps getting back up. I showed out. Does that happen?
Speaker 5 (26:20):
Showed up to his Halloween party dressed as Superman ready
to take on that mantle. Good for looking out for
the kids. Good on you, Drake May. But all that's
saying like you can only be who's on the schedule.
Like this goes back to some of the arguments with
some of the great quarterbacks of the last twenty five years.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
They played in divisions that's stunk. Sorry, that's not their fault.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
Yeah, Brady, but every well, that's sometimes the world lights
up for you.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
The Vegas stinks, the Saints stink, Tennessee stinks, Cleveland stinks.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
These none of these teams were expected to the hand
pick them for him.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
None of them were expected to be good anytime in
the last five years. You can't even say, oh boy,
it's just a luck of the drag. No, these teams
have stunk for five years, but they stink now.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
But nobody says, think, hey, let's pile these guys up
for Drake May to make him a superhero.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
And I'm saying, no, no, I'm not saying.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
What I'm saying is you can't penalize him for beating
on the schedule, palize him for saying he's not the MVP.
Of course I can. This is an easy schedule. It
doesn't matter how it was made. The schedule is easy.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
You're a fan, you don't have a vote. Man, in
the end, you're gonna eat that sauce. He's gonna you
don't care how it's made. He's gonna throw for eight touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Note picks against the Jets because why because the Jets stink?
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Right?
Speaker 1 (27:32):
I mean, really, this is an easy Skit doesn't matter.
Not that I would say the same thing, is it not?
The only thing is because I'm saying, Okay, I just
Tommy hurt you.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
I just listen.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
I just watched people try to make Tom Brady happen
again with Matt Watch it again.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
Patriot no, no, no, but Bill Belichick sabotaged him by
bringing him Patrician to be the offensive corner.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
They they screwed, Mad Joe. How about you have a
three hundred yard game. Your game doesn't. But if he
doesn't need to game, show me that you can win
games by yourself. You know you're not. You know why?
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Because these teams all stink. The team team beating Buffalo,
good game, right, big win one one game everybody else stinks.
Takes one. When you play eight games and only one
is against a team that's over five hundred and everybody
else is at one or two wins, that means you
have an easy schedule. You just missed, Carolina fo I
(28:30):
know what steaks. I know stink. I've seen stink my
whole life. I know I know everything that stinks. And
this stinks, and all these teams stink. That's what it is.
M v P five to one.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Do you got to find it?
Speaker 1 (28:47):
What's trending in the wide role of sports? From Special
Delivery Steve de Seger, He's great, he does not stink.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
How about that?
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Of course cut and print that at unless you have
an easy update schedule, in which case then I'm Gonna said, Okay,
maybe then you're drinking.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
It's much harder.
Speaker 6 (29:01):
In the second half of the Steelers schedule, they're in
