(00:52):
I know, the last couple months on the show, it
felt like Anthony Santander's hit a home run every single night.
But I feel like Tommy Edmund is hitting two home
runs every night for the Dodgers. Now stroke Dodgers lead
the Cubs ten seven to ninth inning. What does thatman have?
Like nine home runs in the last three games.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
It's been absurd. He's up again, there's a swing in
a long one. Yeah, back to back nights, his first
home runs of the year. He's got four in the
last two days.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
I'll tell you how how they Okay, how many games
will it take the White Sox to hit their next
four home runs? Why we got to do that?
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I'm just saying I was trying to think of oks
just because you're giving me a tricep pose. Where was
your sleeping? Sure sleep today? Jacked up about it? I
thought you were gonna give me how dare you? Which
is what you normally like to do when I say
something you don't like?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
How dare you?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah? Like, is that what happens in your house? Like
when Eleanor says, like, Dad, I forgot to take the garbage, jock,
how dare you?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Dad?
Speaker 1 (01:55):
I'm not mister Jason, Okay, yeah, how dare you? It's
so little expected? There? Dare you?
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Try to cut me to the quick? But yeah, I
think Edmund. I'll take Edmund minus one and a half
over the next four games. By the way, the Dodgers
bullpen doing everything they can to make you sweat though
it's ten to seven and two runners on. Oh wait,
now he's walked the bases loaded. Yeah, walk Bellinger bases loaded.
(02:28):
Nobody out ten to seven ball game top of nine.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
So we'll have an update on this and a crazy
update out of college football. You want to you want
a great PAC twelve After Dark? Oh, we got one
for you coming up? And is it coming back?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
No?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
No, no, no, this is this is like no, no no,
how do we say this is a great PAC twelve
After Dark story?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, so it's a game.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
It crazy, not a game, not a game, not a game,
but PAC twelve After Dark story that we're gonna have
for Yeah. No, chaos ensues. Okay, it's one of those.
It's one of the it's like a math problem and
you scratch you ahead and go, I don't see the answer.
I don't see how there's an answer to this. Then
we'll see it. But it's indetermining. The latest involving Deshaun
(03:10):
Watson a big two pronged.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Angle.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
We're taking on this story the next few minutes.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Here.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
The first one is this Today, Deshaun Watson addressed comments
that another accuser has stepped forward to accuse him of
sexual misconduct. This going back to twenty twenty, Deshaun Watson
has maintained innocence. Kevin Stefanski, who you know is getting
tired of fielding these questions at every press conference, just said,
(03:37):
Deshaun Watson starting for US Sunday. We're gonna let everything
play out. We told you a few days ago. Look,
I should have made that big bet in the offseason
when I said, hey, here's your big bull prediction. Jamis
Winston's going to start at least half the games for
the Browns this year. This is going to be three
quarters of the year. And it's not even close. The
(03:57):
Browns are not going to sit with Deshaun Watson for
more than another two weeks before they make a move.
You have this story now that has come up that
is going to hang over him in the team for
however how long it is, and he's going to keep playing.
And I know that it's a oh, well, we've heard
this story all the way through, and he's he's and
he's come through and he's addressed this and he's gotten
he's gotten the closure on all of it and everybody.
(04:20):
But in the end, it's okay, here's another story about this. Well,
he's he's had what an eleven game suspension whatever, counseling
and processes to get himself reinstated reevalue it or whatever.
But now you have another accusation.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Yeah right, just because twenty three of twenty four civil
suits had been fought, had been settled, the one that
still was, you know, outstanding, and now you add this,
does this spur on another round of allegations because again
they're they're not new in terms of their timing, but
(04:59):
new in terms of co to light too, which Watson
even said he found out when the rest of the
world did.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah, this is going to go week three, Deshaun Watson
is still not any good. They will go to Jamis
Winston and what's gonna happen. Then you've seen all the
all the all the thoughts of you gotta cut him,
you gotta get rid of them. But look at the money.
Look at what the money's gonna be. You can't look
(05:24):
at look at all the dead cap money. This is
how it's gonna go. Just like we said with the
forty nine ers, Hey, you can't have twenty five guys
making fifteen million dollars a year. The Niners are going
for it this year. They'll figure out the money in
the offseason. They know they're gonna lose some players that know,
they'll have to trade some players or lose them out right,
But we're going for the super Bowl this year, and
we'll figure it out in the offseason. That's what's gonna
(05:47):
happen with Deshaun Watson when he when he gets replaced
as quarterback for the Browns, he's not gonna be around
the team. The team will deactivate him and he will
not be around as they go through it information, as
they figure out what is next. He's not gonna be
the guy sitting around second string quarterback, working not even
as hard as he did before. He's not going to
(06:09):
be with the team, not gonna be on the Commissioner
Exempt list, but he will be deactivated as the Browns
go through this season, and then they will figure out
Deshaun Watson after it's over.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Right.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
The Bucks did this a long time ago with Keyshawn
Johnson when he couldn't get along with John Gruden, they
deactivated him for the season, and that's what's gonna happen now.
They'll deactivate Watson and they'll go forward with Jamis Winston
and Dorian Thompson, Robinson and whoever else they want to
bring in if Spurgeon win comes back to play. Now,
potentially could they go back to Watson if things are
(06:39):
really bad or and or something gets cleared up for
this with this latest allegation. Yeah, but more than likely
he's gonna be done and in the off season, then
they will figure out the money. They will figure out
what is due to him. They will figure out and
know what the ramifications of this latest accusation are. Can
they get out of money that they owe him?
Speaker 2 (07:01):
How much?
Speaker 1 (07:02):
If they figure out some sort of buyout with Deshaun Watson,
if he winds up going to another team, here's a
buy out, some kind of trait. I can't believe a
team's gonna want him. But the Brown's gonna have to
be on the hook for all the money. But they
will figure things out. Whenever there is money involved, they
will figure it out. Dead cap doesn't matter. The cap
goes salary cap goes up every year. The Browns will
(07:22):
be able to fight through one more year before they
start to see a little bit of closure on that.
So that's how this is gonna go for Deshaun Watson.
Like he's gonna very quietly. Week three, We're making a
change in DeShawn To Jameis Winston, and Deshaun Watson may
or may not be active for us, and then he's
gonna be inactive and he won't be around the team.
And that's how they're gonna go forward because the Browns
(07:44):
understand we can't keep doing this. We've tried it now
we're into our third year and he can't stay healthy.
He's not very good and it's bad headlines and it's
bad stuff, and it's bad energy and a bad everything
around the team. So what are we gonna do? You
saw the play last week? They got a lot of
run on social media of Deshaun Watson trying to help
one of his offensive linean up. Wave them away, Yeah, right,
(08:05):
like wave them away? No, I got it. Door Now, potentially,
could that be a hey, I got it, you don't
need to help me up?
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (08:11):
But could it also be dude, just get out of
my way, jem way, I'm getting up. So all of
this is happening, and the Browns aren't going to sit
back and just shrug their shoulders and say what do.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
You want from us?
Speaker 1 (08:21):
I'm just gonna keep playing. It's gonna keep plugging along. No,
they don't make a decision. It will be a rough
one and it will come sometime the next couple of weeks. Now,
if he plays well, that'll change things. But he hasn't
played well. He's only played thirteen games. Suddenly that's gonna
pour tend into Suddenly he gets it in the next
two weeks. No, it's gonna be more like what we've seen,
and the Browns will make that. It'll be a big
story when it happens. And that happened sometime in the
(08:43):
next two to three weeks.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Yeah, the guy that was the star in the planet
Houston ain't walking through that door tomorrow. It's not suddenly. Hey,
the arm action is back, and all of the decision
making and processing that we saw when we're arguing about
MVP votes, that's not coming back right Ever since operations
shut down into the suspension into what we've seen thirteen
(09:07):
games now over the last three years, that player's gone.
And unless some miracle happens to unleash that or figure
it out. I mean, Stefanski won Coach of the Year.
If it was going to be able to find whatever
was Intoshaun Watson, I think we would have. Right now,
(09:29):
you've got an opportunity here against the Jaguars, and then
you got the Giants, right, those are the next two slots. Now,
the Jaguars played pretty well defensively, About half the yardage
goes down to like three plays etn fumbles and eighty yards.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
To Tyreek Hill. And look, you don't take the plays away.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Obviously they happened, but they've got a pretty good defense
at a good defensive front that should be able to
give Watson in company fits and with the play that
he's given over the thirteen game sample size, not a
huge sample size, but over a long period of time
and leaving this unrest both as a player and the
(10:08):
off field hanging over the roster. You don't get the
benefit of the doubt like when you were the freshly
minuted two hundred and fifty million dollar contracts signing quarterback
teams go into the wall for you because they just invested,
you know, a lot, not just in the cash, but
in who they are, what they are around the league,
(10:30):
potentially their future employment in the league. Right, if the
things go awry in Cleveland, are you gonna be able
to find another spot with another front office? You might
have thrown that out the window, But all of that
when the off field stuff, because again this blade is
goes to October of twenty twenty, so has been standing
(10:52):
in wait and now timelines and trying to re establish
all of those and wondering what other shoe drops. Like
that's the other thing for Cleveland. This doesn't end right.
Even the NFL, he does their investigation and it finishes tomorrow. Well,
what's behind the next door? And if Deshaun Watson is
(11:13):
not a star? And I'm not saying it's right, but
we've watched it for years and this isn't just the
NFL or the NBA or Major League Baseball. Look inside
your own organizations wherever you work across this country, across
the globe. Performers get a little bit of leeway. Right,
the guy who's the top salesman, he may not have
to sit in in all the nonsensical.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Meetings that you do.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
He may be able to walk in the door at
ten thirty instead of eight oh five. Right, all of that,
Like they're little things, but they add up, and I
don't mean to equate them, but it's all a matter
of scope, scale and rules of engagement.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
And in the NFL it's historically been if you're really good.
The legal system and the team's front offices, the league
find away again not excusing it, because there's been a
lot of bad through the years and we all stipulate
to that. And this is a case where as they
launch another investigation. Yes, Stefanski's face said it all in
(12:12):
his presser. Can we just not do this again? Like
asked an answer, like we did this, We've been down
this road. But in the interim while they do the investigation,
he'll be the quarterback until he's not. Now, this is
the the.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
I want to say.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
I don't want to say the sunny side of things,
but I got to give a lot of credit, right,
just you know, aside from Deshaun Watson. Look, it's a
very difficult thing to talk about all the time with him,
and it's it's just very very hard. But the one
thing I do want to say, and this is just shocking,
is that there's no way the Brown should be this
(12:48):
good with what's gone on the last couple of years. Right,
they went all in on a quarterback, gave him two
hundred and thirty million dollars guaranteed. He has come in,
he has not played, and when he has played, his
play horribly. They gave up three first round picks, a third,
and a fifth to get him. They should be starting
over at the bottom of the barrel. We don't have
any big asset, we have any big assets coming in
(13:10):
in the draft. We gave up everything to get him.
Our quarterback play has been horrendous. We should be starting over.
They should be like the Broncos, who, well, they gave
up all the assets for Russell Wilson. You know what,
we're starting over. We're drafting a new quarterback. We hired
a new eco all these days. We should be starting over.
But the Browns, since they obtained to Sean Watson, not
only are they over five hundred, but they were a
(13:32):
playoff team last year. And they're a playoff caliber team
that should not happen. And and that tells you just
how great of job they've done in building this team
and building a team to compete, in building a great defense,
enough weapons on offense to keep this team afloat. When
you get bad quarterback play or quarterback play, you got
to say, hey, I'm just flipping a coin. Hopefully Joe
Flacco is good. If not, I don't know. But still,
(13:55):
in the last two plus years, they're eighteen and seventeen
playoffs last year, playoff threat this year. Really good team.
And oh, by the way, they're still doing it without
the best running back in the NFL, who's been out
almost almost all of last year and now is out,
still hasn't played this year, Nick Chubb. To be here,
they shouldn't be here. They shouldn't be this relevant. They
should be at the bottom starting over. What do we
(14:17):
do Deshaun Watson? We're not sure. Instead it's how do
we reload on the fly and keep this going? And
I gotta give a lot of credit to them, it's
it's a different angle to this, but I really it
shouldn't happen this way for the Brown shouldn't be this good.
Yet here they are.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Yeah, they've they haven't made major misses elsewhere, right, And
the money for Watson, look, as we know what you
can do with salary, the salary cap, and by changing
things into signing bonuses and stretching out, which they've done
with him and other players on the squad, allows you
to keep some of your stars. And let's face it,
(14:53):
go through your roster, your favorite team's roster, and look
how many guys are making league minimum, or maybe one
and a half to two times league minimum.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
It's the vast.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Majority of the roster that you're trotting out there, so
you're trying to find the diamonds in the rough and bargains.
And to their credit, Andrew Berry and the staff and
everybody in Cleveland, they've done a good job of retaining
players that are homegrown and in the backgrounds of the draft,
they've had a lot of hits and that's allowed them
(15:25):
to sustain. So that's all impressive. You know, you go
back to when they made the deal, and this is
where you get into some of the handwringing and how
much of that was driven by ownership to go out
and get what was at the time thought to be
a top five quarterback into Shaun Watson and pay him commensurately,
not with all the allegations that were already out there,
(15:47):
right those had been dismissed by a grand jury, no indictment,
So the trade goes through. Should they have bailed at
that point, you can always litigate that, but you can't
the rest of the roster. They've done a great job
of navigating from there, saved by Joe Flacco becoming elite
once again.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
It's amazing. They should not be this and yet hear that,
which makes me go, boy, the Jets, what have they
been doing for like the last decade? What have you
been doing last ten? What have they been doing a decade? Well,
because we were in the AFC title game back to
back years, Yeah, a little bit over a decade ago.
What I've been doing for the last decade?
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Yeah, but I could say the last forty years, but
the last decade, the decade generally, we got a good one.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Sanchez did it twice. Yeah, and he gets no.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Love, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Although I got a lot of friends who are suddenly
smitten with him. They chose to watch Sanchez over Brady.
Ah in spots. Okay, my female friends nod the Sanchez
was their guy.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
That's kind of weird. You didn't see it because you
would think Brady. But Brad's got to have a better
game too. And it was a broadcasting career.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Uh coming up next, Hey, we again that very special
back twelve after Dark story and I am stunned that
we're going to have Yeah, the latest on the Shannon
Sharp sex tape scandal. Oh boy, and now dere ven
each that's coming up next. Radio Jason and Mike.

Fox Sports Radio Jason Smith Show with my best friend
Mike Harmon. This this count as balero. It's not balero, No,
it's not. We're done with Blero. We're done with Blero.
We're done with Blero music. Now we're back into the
slide over there. How we're done with Blero music. You know. Smith,
Mike Carmon Live the Tireck dot Com Studios. Yeah, and
(18:18):
I know that all of you think the PAC twelve
is dead.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Not coming back.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
They only have two scores. They've all gone tight. Shirt's
taking them out with a musket.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
He's gonna reload. Now, Pack twelve. We're looking at the
bygone era. I remember the PAC twelve. Remember when was
the Pack eight.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
They would announce scores like cal Los Angeles beat cal
Poly twelve to seven. The Pac twelve is done.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Oh what a great run.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
But wait a minute, is that a heartbeat?
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Wait a minute?
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Just like in Halloween when you think Michael Myers is dead, No, no, no,
there gets to be that point at them where he
always just sits right up and sits up without a problem.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
He doesn't like.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Get it like oh man, he just like like Undertaker.
He just sits like, oh, I'm my boy.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
I tell you.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Getting stabbed and shot as much as I did, that hurts.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
But I'm good.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
I can fight now. And then all zet that suddenly,
even the new Michael Myers who's like sixty, no, I
still have super humid. Dude, you're sixty. Come on, man,
you gotta give me a little bit of Hey, I
got a shoulder. I got a rotator cuff.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Got Myers has this show.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
We got the Myers kid on the injured list, got hurt,
got shot through the mask both of his eyes. Uh, boy,
I tell you that Curtis kid, she's got she's got
some kind of aim. Never shot a gun before in
the movie. And just you know, too bang banging suddenly
right in the eyes. Uh. And you know you see
that he was able to still swing that knife. And
(19:50):
then Loomis comes in at the end and kind of
blows things up. Uh, but you know, still really really strong.
Getting shot in the eyes.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
Like that, Well, the other senses got heightened to me. Yeah,
Son's like Spider Man.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
So it's like it's like me, he's like Peter Parker
came in bit him and then that's how it happened, right,
Peter Parker bite somebody and they turned into a spider
I saw that movie once. Maybe it was something else,
like I can't really be sure. Uh, but we have JK.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Simmons playing Jerry Jones in a movie, just to swap
those up a little bit.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Mysterio the biggest hero we've ever seen on this planet. Uh,
Spider Man. If you think that's a pretty good JK. Simmons.
If you think the PAC twelve is dead, wait a second.
According to reports from Yahoo and this has gotten picked
up by Pete Thammel and other big college football insiders.
(20:42):
Kyle Bonager with ESPN, the PAC twelve, Wait a minute,
the PAC twelve. Yes, apparently the PAC twelve still exists somewhere.
It's it's like the Death Theaters. I thought but Voltimort
was dead. Now the Death Theaters are still around. Okay,
the PAC twelve, Like, wait a minute, the PAC twelve
like they have an off somewhere. Hey, we keep the
address so we can wind up still being being in business. Well,
(21:04):
we had to give up all of the land that
we had in San Francisco because remember last year, they
couldn't really strike anything for Washington State or Oregon State.
So they're they're sitting around, like, I don't know, just
playing some games this year. But the PAC twelve is
expected to help these departing Mountain West Conference schools with
(21:27):
their exit fees. Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State,
and Boise State. We're gonna call doctor Rich tomorrow. It's
roughly eighteen million dollars per team with more money to
(21:48):
go because you know, if you're you're paying a penalty
for the fee as well. They just need two more
teams to get to eight to form a conference for
twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Because they had a two year grace period to get
back to at least eighteen. The Pac twelve, it would
be the Pack eight obviously, But you're talking about Oregon State,
Washington State. I mean, you wouldn't you just call it
Pac twelve state because it's all state, Washington State, Oregon State,
Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Boise State, State,
l State. Oh wait, the state eight pattern that right now,
(22:24):
Patt and that right now State eight eight eight Patten
that right now, State eight.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
The Pac twelve is coming back with schools that aren't
nearly as good in sports as the other schools that left.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Watch out here comes back twelve.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
In nineteen sixty nine, the Pacific eight Conference football standings
USC went ten oh to one, UCLA eight one and one.
Stanford was seven to two and one, and he had
Oregon State, Oregon, Cal, Washington, and Washington State. So that's
all I'm taking us all the way back to nineteen
sixty nine. But yeah, everything old can be new again.
(22:59):
And like they say, true love never dies either will
of the PAC twelve.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
That's they say for Dracula, that's Dracula's love.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Now that's Gary Oldman.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Yeah, that's mean Dracula. Love never dies.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
But this Sun and kea.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
But like the twelve is trying to keep back.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Yes, delivery.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Whoa, You're just gonna suck the blood out of me
and I'm not gonna be able to come back and
marry mina. Whoa, But that's all right. I start shooting
the Matrix in a month and a half. It's all right, Winona,
you'll have to finish the movie without me. Is that okay?
All right?
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Uh? But I like that.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Now the PAC twelve is again, they're gonna try to
come as a PAC.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Twelve light wow mine.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Hey, But like the long road begins with that first step,
you get to eight, you can find two more teams
that are pissed off. Hey, Florida State, No, you've been
wanting out. Let's go, dude, Dude.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
You're conference how much money do you think they're gonna
get from this packed twelve? Think everybody's gonna get lunch money,
That's what it's gonna be Hey, you get lunch.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
What does that mean? That means you get lunch.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
The current commissioner strike a better TV deal once they
get to eight to ten teams than what Larry Scott
was able to do.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
I mean the eight seven seven.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
It's a great story, and I'm happy that the Pack
twelve could be coming back. But this is I'm trying
to equate this where hey, we're gonna come back under
with the same name with way different people. Right, this
is like you know, you know, it's like, okay, remember
and I'm going back now. Hey, Tysha, I got a story.
You got my story music ready? Ty Shirt got my
(24:38):
story music ready? Yeah, my story music waiting for Oh
my god, ty Shirt. Tyson needs to come back.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
In the Pack twelve, Hooper drives the boat chair. You know,
back in.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Tixer's playing like seven different songs right now.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Back in it was clear.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Back in the early nineteen eighties in Reward, this music
is just the best. So in the early eighties, Right,
Dukes of Hazzard was the biggest show on one of
the biggest shows on television.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Right John Schneider, Tom.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Wopat Bow and Luke Duke Maylon Jennings the Chandor, and
it was a great show for a long time. Well
book was a spy, yeah, and the bad guy was
a spy. And then there got to be a point,
like after the fifth season where John Schneider and Tom
Wopat wanted more money, so they held out and they
(25:40):
did and they didn't want to pay them, and CBS decided,
we're going to bring in to lookalikes to replace you
so we could still have the show and still sell
the merchandise. So they bring in coy and Vance, who
looked just like John Schneider and Tom Wopat. So now
the Dukes have had hazard. They run this and now
(26:01):
on Friday nights you tune in to watch the Dukes
of Hazzard, but you get coy In Vance and not
Bow and Luke.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Did the story still work No.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Because it was two guy. I don't even know who
these guys are. You know that they can I know
that they have any lines. So you bring these guys in,
you're giving me the Dukes of Hazzard, but you're really not.
You're giving me two lesser, way lesser guys to come
in here. That's kind of what the Pac twelve are
you giving me Oregon and Washington USC and oh uc
L eight. Nope, we're giving you Colorado State. We're giving
(26:32):
you uh, San Diego State, Boise State, Fresno State, Oregon State,
Washington State.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
It's a great.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Story and this is a feel good thing, but you're
you're trying to give me something where I'm saying, this
is just like gonna be the what Why don't you
just be the Mountain West? Why are you spending all
this money? No one's gonna consider you the PAC twelve.
They'll still consider it feed money or something where hey,
say that eighteen million to get some kind of carriage
(27:03):
fee where you're on like BYU TV or something like that.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
I mean, you're not gonna be the Pac twelve. Just
because the back twelve doesn't mean, hey, we want to
see that that college football playoff.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Yeah, yeah, that's right. You keep believing that. That's yeah,
you'll get us see at the table. That's right.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Yeah, it's fine, don't worry about it. I mean, this
is not It's great that they're trying to come back,
and I think it's an awesome story and they're trying
to do this in this in the two year span.
But you're bringing back conference where people are gonna go, hey,
the pac twelfth back, Well, who's in it?
Speaker 6 (27:35):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (27:36):
That which we call a rose by any other name
would smell as sweet.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
Why do you have your finger in the air when
you're saying it, Well, you're sitting right next to me.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
You don't even put your finger out. I'm making your point.
I got my finger in the air.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
I was doing master thespian work over here. We're going
Romeo and Juliet.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
You can't call it?
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Which want pack? Twelve pack? Eight pack? Man?
Speaker 2 (28:01):
I don't know, But.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Isn't it exciting to think that we'll get more pack whatever?
Speaker 1 (28:07):
After dark? Again?
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Okay, it'll be on TV lock out.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Everybody's tripping over themselves to show up with lots of
multi comma checks to grab any semblance of programming.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Including high school football for crying out loud.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Okay, there's money to be had as long as you
don't have a dope in charge and a bunch of
chancellors and presidents who actually give a damn about football.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
All right, let me let me say this period. Let's
say Breaking Bad decides to come back. How great would
that be? Right?
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Breaking Bad.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
This is going to be awesome. One of the greatest
three television shows of all time. Right, Breaking Bad is
coming back? Wha Breaking Bad is back. But here's the thing.
Brian Cranston's not coming back, okay, And instead of Brian Cranston,
David Swimmer is going to play that role. Okay, what
about Aaron Paul? Yeah, Aaron Paul not coming back. Instead
(29:01):
of Aaron Paul, Zach Efron will play that role. Oh man, okay,
are you gonna watch if Breaking Bed the sequel comes out?
You don't want to watch this, zach Shwimmer and Zach Efron.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
You're gonna watch?
Speaker 4 (29:13):
You?
Speaker 2 (29:13):
You're not?
Speaker 3 (29:14):
You a dude?
Speaker 1 (29:15):
I would be the first guy.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
I'd go to the screen on the red carpet going,
I'll sling, I don't lie to me.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
Summer's gonna be calling everybody. Rachel moping around the set
all the time. Al Radech, we were on a brag Monica.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
I mean, did you see he was on the one
that the British Baking show though it was.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
He really That's what I mean?
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Are you really gonna watch that?
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Ted Lasso's coming back? Its okay? Well, instead of instead
of Brett Goldstein playing Roy Kent.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
It's going to be.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
I don't know. I'm trying to think of somebody whose
foul mouth that I really don't want to see. I
just remember most of the teams in.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
The back ten twelve sucked, so getting getting out them out.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Front room, UCLA, Washington, Oregon. This is the pack twey.
Sometimes you gotta recognize she ain't coming back.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Okay, this is some sort of relationships over and you're
trying to find newna.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
You're trying to find.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
New cute, new heart strings being pulled and feeling and
finding love again.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
If Ted Lasso came back and instead of instead of
Jason Sedakis, they just cast an unknown in a mustache
like that's what this mustache plays. I'm not gonna watch.
We're gonna watch this. You know who this guy is?
Is that Tom Selleck? No, No, it's actually Tom Sellick's
stand in from the nineteen eighties. He's gonna have the
new role here. Catch you later, you peppy, I'm not
(30:44):
gonna watch.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
I think you would. I'm knowing you wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
I think once the football started flying you wouldn't give
a damn No, No, I'm not gonna do it.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Might you feel a little bit different. Might it be
a little different?
Speaker 1 (30:55):
How was I? Oh, it was different. That's what it
would be. Exit out about a Fresco exit swollen dome.
Time now to find out what's trending in the wide
world of sports from montis.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Are we doing this?
Speaker 2 (31:12):
Belaro?
Speaker 4 (31:14):
It's over, We're moving on.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
We're moving on long long time.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
I'm gonna learn how to play a trumpet just so
I can sit here.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
That would be so great, bringing some props.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Let's do it.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
I'm into that. The Dodgers last game of the night
here fellas they ended up beating the Cubs. There was
a ton of homers hitting this one in LA. They
came out on top ten to eight. And it all
started with the show Heyo tawny homer bringing his total
to forty seven. He stole a bass, bringing that total
to forty eight. The MLB Twitter account has an image
(31:48):
of show Heyo Tanni and it says the Dodgers one
ten eight, and it also says the Dodgers complete the
sweep of the Cubs. Let me tell you what the
Dodgers didn't jus, yes, Jason.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
What is the he didn't sleep? The Cubs yes.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
So for those of you listening, if you are on
Twitter and you follow the MLB Twitter account, the official
MLB Twitter account with the gold check mark.
Speaker 2 (32:12):
No, the Dodgers.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Did not sweep the Cubs.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
They didn't even win the series, but they did win.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
The game ten to eight.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
They're doing great.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
Whoever's on that is just is doing great.
Speaker 6 (32:27):
Let's check in on the other scores in baseball because
there's tight races happening all over the place.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Listen, Baseball needs to do their best to get the
Dodgers in as a division winning.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
We really do.
Speaker 6 (32:36):
Trying to manifest it with lives and all. Who cares
about facts? He cares about that.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
Kick back. I'm gonna moderator on this one. The Mets
came back from behind.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
They broke up a no hitter thanks to Francisco lind
Or's solo shot in the ninth inning. They beat the
Blue Jays six to one. The Nationals defeated the Braves
five to one, so Atlanta now no one full game
out of the final wildcard spot in the National League.
Behind the Mets.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
The Yankees had a.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
Ford to three win over the Royals and eleven innings.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Jazz Chisholm Junior with the walk off RBI in that one.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
The Red Sox defeated the Orioles five to two, Tyler
O'Neill with the three run shot in the tenth inning
to give Boston the win. New York has a one
and a half game lead on Baltimore for the top
spot in the AL East.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
The Twins they beat the Angels six to four.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Third baseman royce Lewis hit a grand slam in the
seventh inning for Minnesota. The Tigers they took down the
Rocky seven to four, so Detroit is still three games
out of the final wildcard spot in the AL behind
the Twins. The A's they came back to beat the
Astros five to four, while the Mariners defeated the Padres
five to two, so Seattle is now three and a
half games back of the Astros for the top spot
(33:46):
in the AL West. In college sports, you guys were
just talking about it. Yahoo Sports reporting that the PAC
twelve is coming back, targeting Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State,
and San Diego State to be new members of the conference.
In the WNBA, the Aces defeated the Fever eighty six
to seventy five. Asia Wilson ended with a double double
twenty seven points twelve rebounds. She also broke the single
(34:08):
season WNBA scoring record, which was set by Storms guard
Jewel Lloyd last year at nine hundred and thirty nine.
So she has more than that. What's the number. I
don't know the matthe and math in, but I think
by nine.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
To fifty six.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
Caitlyn Clark ended with sixteen points and six assists. She
was six of twenty two from the field, one of
ten from the three point. They're playing again tomorrow. By
the way, the aces in the fever. The schedule on
the WNBA is just questionable for me. Let's talk about
the NFL because Week two kicks off with Thursday Night
Football Dolphins hosting the Bills. Miami has rolled out running
back Rahem Moster for that game because of a chest injury.
(34:42):
Running Back to von A Chan will be a game
time decision because of an ankle injury. Packers head coach
Matt Lafleura says the door is still open for quarterback
Jordan Loved to play in Week two against the Colts despite.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
A knee injury.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson may have miss practiced earlier in
the week. He's not on the injury report. He is
going to start Sunday against the Raiders. Asked for running
back Christian McCaffrey of the forty nine Ers, who was
limited at practice today, Kyle Shanahan says his mentality is
that he's gonna play, but the NFL Network reports that
it is a long shot that he does play in Minnesota,
and the Rams did place wide receiver Puka Nakua on
(35:15):
injured reserve, while Bengals wide receiver T Higgins did not
practice today because of his hamstring injury. Guys, it was fun.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Twelve coming back, very nice, very exciting.
Speaker 4 (35:28):
The MLB Twitter account doesn't know what's going on.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Making stuff up to get the Dodgers. That's good. I
really thought we were also going to more vinga bumbalero.
It's maybe we got time.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
The night's not over.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
Thanks.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
Coming up next, how about a hot take on a
sex tape? WHOA that's next Jason and Mike Fox.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Fox Sports Radio, The Jason Smith Show with my best
friend Mike Harmon Hobo. So the Shannon Sharp sex tape, yeeha,
I got a hot take for you. Hot take.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
So you're gonna critique it? No, no, no, no, you're gonna
critique it. No. It was a theater of the mind
sex tape, which I kind of Hey, we're not gonna
show you the sex, You're just gonna hear it. So,
oh wait a minute.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
So now we get to play picture Mary. Is that
what he's doing his auditioning is.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
That is a new school sex tape. Well, we're not
gonna see it, you're just gonna hear it, man, Yeah,
sayre trying to do something new. We're trying to raise the.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Stakes for agent provocateur.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
This is a live video that got streamed of Shannon
Sharp's millions of followers earlier in the day today and
it became a big deal. Everybody's talking about it social media.
The video is everywhere. You just hear the sex allegedly
that Shannon Sharp and a woman named Michelle we're having
Shannon Sharp came out right away and said, oh oh,
(37:00):
we are vigorously working to see how this what happened
to here? I I got hacked and then I guess
after some time went by and he realized, oh wait
a minute, no one's really mad at me. He went
on and did a couple of interviews Ocho Sinko Kat
Williams and said, oh, no, no, it was me. I
did it. I I, you know, left my phone on
(37:21):
when I shouldn't have, and I went and had sex.
Now here's where the hot tape comes in. I told
you that boy. Was this really something that was done accidentally?
Or was this the old Hey, leaking of a sex
tape gets you clicks, gets you attention. Because he goes
(37:41):
live on instead like he goes live, he live streams.
He puts his phone down live streaming. Somehow it just
faces away from where they are. You hear it, It
gets shut down, he said today when when he finally admitted,
he went from this is a travesy of no. No
I did it. I did it to say that I've
never streamed live for I don't know how I did it.
Uh dude, Sorry, man, that's the worst thing you could say,
(38:05):
because you don't know how to live stream something and
somehow you pressed a button on your phone and you're
live streaming. It's not how it works, all right. I'm
fifty three, right, and I'm I have a pretty good
knowledge on my phone.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Not quite the.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Knowledge that that that you know millennials and Generation ZF,
but I know, hey, if I'm live, I'm not just
pressing a button and I'm live. I know I'm not
just hitting the app and I'm live. So yeah, was
this something that was an accident or was this?
Speaker 2 (38:31):
Oops?
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Look what's out here? And now people are talking about me?
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (38:35):
No, I'm completely calling Shenanigans on this. Look at that Sheanigans.
This is how you try to juice your career.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
Me.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
I don't need to juice my the kid getting after it. Hey, everybody, boy,
I think I hear Keith Hernandez in the background with
Ron Darling. Oh oh, that's Jason met He's watching the
Mets and he's eating sitting, okay, sipping a coke. It's
just it's just two and a half minutes of Jason
(39:06):
chewing on his sand.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
Just here here the guy at the the bottom of
a glass, Minnesota. It's my only fans page yet it is. Well, hey, man,
there's an audience for everything. Is right now, I mean
he's he's got a lot of clout right, certainly a
lot of run. The numbers have been good the Cat
Williams interview as as you referenced.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
A lot a lot of clout there, a lot of juice.
And when they go live.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
They've been doing an in person tour that is evidently
sold pretty well across the country.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
A bit so, but you can always use a little more. No,
I've never gone live on Instagram and suddenly I'm not,
oh real, just by pressing up, putting your phone.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Maybe Michelle got after it and got anger his phone on. Man,
I look, I I go by me. They were just acting.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
I go by my uncle Jimmy's philosophy if I was
born at night, but not last night, right, Like I
I I understand all this happened. It was such a thing.
But for in one day to go from oh, I'm
denying it, now I'm gonna go on and talk about it,
and now I'm gonna go out like clearly he had
something set up out of want and explain it. Yeah,
I'm Shenanigan.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
We got a lot of millions of hits, some great commentary. Yeah,
you can do dramatic reading of comments there, yeah, unk, your.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Phone's on, traumatic reading of it. Exit out about a Fresca.
Exits the Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike
Carmon coming up next to my buddy Ben Mallard. This
is Fox Matzio Lindor
