Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
And you want experience during your football season, Well, buckle up,
sweet cheeks. We've got all the experience in the world.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
This is I want your flex.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
With Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break
down everything you need to set your lineups, from position
rankings to starts and sits. The guys help you make
those hard decisions. And now let's get your flex. Ond
Here's Dan Bayer and Mike.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Harmon already in a week seven chill in the air,
Welcome in. He's Mike carmenon hit him up at Swollen Dome.
You can find me at Dan Byer on Fox. And
Ian Roddy is the executive producer. You can find him
at Ian Roddy. Underscore two teams on Buy. Two significant
teams Ravens and Bills not playing this week. Two teams
already in the books Bengal Steelers, and what a show

(00:53):
the old Guy's put on on Thursday Night.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Mike, tell you what I need more of that. Inject
that into my veins. Figure out how to save both
their arms and attach him to some of these younger
guys that can't push the ball down the field. I mean,
Flacco was magnificent three forty two and three next week
a revenge game against the Jets, I don't know, something
like that. But it also unlocked Chase Brown as much

(01:16):
as we saw and we expected greatness from Jamar Chase,
we got every bit of it in his sixteen catches
on twenty three targets. We also found the end zone
for t Higgins, so hopefully he found his way into
the back end of your lineup. I mean, it was
a very difficult spot, but hand ringing opportunity did pay
off for you there. On the other side, Aaron Rodgers

(01:38):
was almost his equal. A couple of interceptions deep ball
that got away to be a blemish, but Jalen Warren
with one twenty seven Friarmouth uncovered rumbles sixty eight yards
for a score. The only guy that was the loser
in all of this was DK Metcalf just three for
fifty and a loss fumble. But one of the more

(02:01):
entertaining Thursday night games we've seen in a while.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Fellas, Yeah, I went up against Jalen Warren last night.
It was like, what what is this?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
What the hell's going on?

Speaker 3 (02:09):
And him, compared to everybody else, had a mediocre night.
But a huge night, and T Higgins could have had more.
What a heads up play that he made makes. I
think it makes Amari de Marcado and ad Night Mitchell
just looked that much worse when T Higgins is able
to do something like that.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I gotta say, though, Dan, the thing that stands out
most to all of it, though, I mean, and you'll
appreciate this, the white tiger helmets.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yes, all you need is a little bit of a
like a glitter sparkle, and we really got something.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
The interesting thing about those helmets, and I don't I
assume it's the same with the orange the stripes. The
black stripes look thinner on the white one. I don't
know if you got if you guys have noticed that
at all. I've got the mini helmet of both, and
they look pretty much the same. But on the actual
helmet that we watched during the game Thursday night, I

(03:02):
thought that they look a bit thinner on TV. I
don't know. Maybe it's the camera.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Well, I mean normally it adds yeah, right, I mean,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
All right, I love those uniforms. I would make that
their personal uniform are their permanent uniform.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
That's the genius of it. It's like the mcgrib it's
only here some of the time, which makes you love
it that much more.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
I like that it almost becomes sort of like a
Penn State whiteout game. Yeah yeah, fans wear white two
for it.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yeah yeah. It was a good scene in Cincinnati. So
the Bengals get the win over the Steelers. Hopefully it's
a good week for you in Week seven. Mike Harmon's
going to try to help you along that way. Let's
get to the top five quarterback plays Mike of Week
seven in the National Football League.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Well, right off the jump, we'll just stick to two
guys going with that massive over undertotal with Jayden Daniels
and Dak Prescott. We'll just couple them like a horse
race one in two. You're looking at Daniels on almost
twenty points per game in the games that he's played
thus far. On the Cowboys defense, we know, absolutely abysmal,
giving up nearly twenty six points per game to opposing quarterbacks,

(04:04):
fifteen touchdowns, just two interceptions and no Trayvon Diggs. Evidently
an incident at his house can cussed. He's been ruled
out for the game. On the other side, we're looking
at Dak Prescott. I should stay with them for a
second though McLaurin has ruled out Deebo a bit of
a game time situation with that heel injury, but looks
like he's going to go. So we're finding a little

(04:27):
bit of Chris Moore and some of the other tertiary
receivers stepping up into an opportunity at a big spot
against that Dallas secondary. For Dak Prescott, he gets CD Lambeck.
We've watched George Pickens be magnificent, so the two of
them team up along with Ferguson to go after it.
Big opportunity here against the Washington team that we saw

(04:49):
give up a bunch of big plays to Caleb Williams
and the Bears. On Monday night, Baker Mayfield against Detroit.
That's the other big heavy hitter game for this week.
Mike Evan return still a lot on the injury notes,
keep an eye on towards game time. But Sterling Shepard
steps up in the depth chart as well as an
opportunist for you. You got Patrick Mahomes going up against

(05:12):
the Vegas Raiders twenty three or more fantasy points five
of his six games thus far.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
All right, welcome back Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Yeah, a couple of times he's done it with his legs.
Don't think he needs to. Why Rashie Rice comes back,
Maybe we'll talk about him a little bit later on.
And then we look at Jalen Hurts and Jared Goff
to finish off our runs here with Hurts going up
against Minnesota. Yeah, third fewest, but we're gonna go counterintuitive
fifth averaging nineteen. He's got nineteen point four or more

(05:42):
and five of his six games. And then for golf
going up against Tampa, expecting some fireworks there over under
a fifty three in that one.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Yeah, lots of points. Another common theme that you look
at Mike's top five, Weather's going to start to be
a factor. But with these quarterbacks, Baker's playing indoors, hurt
some eagles taking on the Vikings and commanders and cowboys
in Dallas controlled environments. So you should have some fortunate,

(06:12):
fortunate outcomes with those where in other spots, whether it
could end up breaking havoc, we shall see, especially in Cleveland.
But I didn't think Tua and Dylan Gabriel we're going
to be making the top five.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Well, you know, what I do kind of go off
the radar every once in a while. That one was
just a bit outside.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Let's get to the speaking of outside perfect transition, let's
get to the running backs, the top five running backs
for week five, and we excuse me for Week seven
in the NFL season.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
All right, I'm going to go right off the jump.
Josh Jacob's going up against Arizona, ninth most generous to
opposing running backs, So we're looking at him back to
back twenty nine point games, feeling it, finding it, and
the balance really coming into play. Next two spots, let's
go mirror guys. Heb's John Robinson and Christian McCaffrey. Looking

(07:01):
at a couple of our top scorers thus far this year.
With bijon twenty two point four per game. His low
was thirteen point six. That's your floor thus far, and
that monster game against Buffalo sitting in our rearview mirror.
Here you're looking at Atlanta, who's been strong. But because
of McCaffrey's aptitude in the passing game, we'll look at that.

(07:24):
We talked about the crazy consistency that he's had this year.
That'll continue eighteen point seven to twenty three point nine
the range of his scoring averaging twenty one points per game,
So we'll get him in in the third spot. Howbut
Javonte Williams going up against Washington down week six, look
for him to get back at it. Still third most

(07:45):
fantasy points per game allowed for Washington. That is, he's
sixth at nearly sixteen points per game, two games with
fewer than ten points. So there are some stinkers out there.
I don't think we see it this week. And then
for that final spot, we'll go with Jonathan Taylor going
up against the Chargers here in Los Angeles, looking at

(08:08):
the consistency that he's got four games with at least
twenty one fantasy points.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Ian Roddy, did you know Falcons and Niners used to
be division rivals?

Speaker 1 (08:18):
I did not know that.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Yes, the NFC West, Yes, Atlanta was in the West somehow. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Yes, it doesn't have to make sense. You go back,
you go back into the old maps, Dan, you and
I have had some fun with this through the years, like, hey,
let's go and look at what these I mean, you
do it for baseball, Sure, it's certainly in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Yes, And it was for Mike and I it's not
too far off. It happened when the Texans came into
the league and then the whole realignment took shape. But
Falcons Niners in the nineties, Dion Sanders and you know
remember the Falcons, he would match up with Jerry Rice
and then there was a point where Dion ended up
playing for the forty nine ers, so he and Andre

(09:06):
Risen were going at it, and yeah, it was quite
It was a bit of a rivalry.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
So the division name didn't have actually anything to do
with the location geographically, not at all.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
This is just what you're labeled at.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Yes, that's correct, that's how it worked out. But yes,
once division rivals, they'll be playing on Sunday night. All right,
those are your top five running backs, Mike. Let's get
to the top five wide receivers for week seven.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
All right, let's lock and load. We got Puka Nikoua,
as we surmised ruled out because of the pending buy means.
Devanta Adams jumps to the top of our list for
this week, going up against Jacksonville despite their turnover happy
kind of ways in that Jacksonville secondary, you're looking at
an opportunity where they do give up the They've given

(09:49):
up the eighth most receptions to wide receivers, so I
think early and often we see the target and Devin
Lloyd's going to miss this one as well. I'm on
ross Aint Brown going against Tampa time for third almost
seventeen and a half fantasy points per game. Tampa pretty
generous in terms of letting you move the ball between
the twenties, so we'll look for more of that in
that high scoring affair JSN against Houston's second highest at

(10:12):
eighteen fantasy points per game. Yes, Houston fifth fewest, only
two touchdowns to wide receiver. I think we break that
mold and we find the third Cede Lamb welcome back,
thirteenth most receiving yards to wide receivers Washington thus far
touchdown per game. Look for the Dack Express to continue,

(10:33):
and then for that fifth spot, we're gonna go with
Jefferson going up against Philadelphia. Season high has only been
seventeen point six points, but Philadelphia tenth posts receiving yards
allowed per game and Mitchell with a hamstring injury. Another
one to look at because of the bye weeks and
what they need now obviously not running away and hiding

(10:55):
in division as you'd hope, but they got to be
cautious because he's all they got back there.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
I tell you the looking at the top five that
Mike had another interesting schedule situation where we've got a
Monday night football doubleheader, but not the staggered one. Now
we've got a true double header with the Lions and
Buccaneers playing early and then the Seahawks and Texans coming
up at ten eastern seven Pacific, and all those teams
have significant guys playing in your roster or in your lineup,

(11:25):
so a lot of fantasy matchups likely not to be
decided until Monday night. Should be a good.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
One, fun times, no question about it. And then another
one of those games overseas. You know, I know folks
lament them, but we get those standalone games so everybody
gets the opportunity to watch. So it's that pick your
poison kind of mentality.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Related to that, I think the East Coast enjoys the
London games because it's nine to thirty for them. We're
on the West coast. So Mike, I know your show's
going on, so eure up early anyway. But even ian
Ed you had to work on Sunday, and what you
got but in the first quarter for the Jets game time.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Yeah yeah, I was like, yeah, it's when it started
six thirty. I got up at like seven.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah, so yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
I mean, if they were good, I would have got
up for them, but we don't playing that.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Am I getting up for the Jets snooze? Yeah? There
might be something to that. There might be a T
shirt there.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Well, after this week, we get a couple of break
from the let's just call them the European Games because
they're going to be done with London after this week,
take a couple of weeks off, and then they've got
the game in Germany, in the game in Spain coming
up since week, coming up in weeks ten and eleven,
so you don't have to rise early for the next
couple of weekends in the NFL after this one. So

(12:40):
there are your top five plays quarterback, running back, a
wide receiver position when we come back. Michaellevis hot plays
in cold source, the guys that you may want to
play but didn't make his top five, and Ian sitting
on a couple of streaming defenses. I got a points
of palooza and a survivor pick. And if you didn't
pick the Steelers on Thursday night. Good job, you shouldn't have,
but hopefully we got way to get you the Week eight.

(13:01):
That's all coming up next year and I want your flex. Well,
go back at Mike up at Swollen Dom get Ian
at Ian Roddy underscore. You can find me at Dan
Byer on Fox. All right, Mike, Let's get to the
hot plays. The guys that didn't make the rankings but
may have favorable matchups in Week seven.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Always get nervous throwing in one of my own in there.
But Caleb Williams going against New Orleans at home tied
for seventh at twenty one points per game. Hey, the
Bears the only team in the NFL to score at
least twenty one points per game six weeks of the season.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Not too shabby.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Who would have thought New Orleans' fourth most points allowed
fourteen touchdowns just three picks thus far. Bonecks going up
against the Giants twentieth at about seventeen points per game
is where he sits two games with more than twenty
one opportunity here at home. I think they make the
Hay defensively to give them some opportunities. Daniel Jones against

(13:57):
the Chargers how about the fact that they've given up
the second most rushing yards to quarterbacks. That's why I'm
looking for Jones to make his a here, maybe running
for his life a little bit, because it's the counter
intuited play with the charge giving up the seventh fewest
fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. As far we mentioned
Deebo before, if he goes obviously a plus matchup, we'll

(14:18):
keep an eye on that. He's eighth and half PPR leagues,
and I thought i'd highlight this. He's got two games
with fewer than four points scored, yet he's.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Eighth wow PPR leagues at the She's because of a
couple of monster performances and just some dump offs trying
to get a ball in his hands, see if he
can make some plays.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
George Pickens in that number two slot should be able
to feast in that game against Washington. Jordan Addison going
up against the Philadelphia Eagles, He'll get whoever's left of
the secondary beyond Mitchell. So we always love that. We
welcome back with Shei Rice, a couple of quick running
backs spot for Breesehault. Why opportunity eighteen touches per game?

(15:00):
I can't say much more than that he's got a
chance to break one every time. Alvin Kamara seventh most
rushing yards allowed the Bears. Big play potential is there.
I know he says he wants to stay and we'll
see some more of Kendrey Miller, but still some opportunity there. Judkins,
why because they're forty mile an hour wins. I mean

(15:21):
they're basically talking like it's gonna be the Wizard of Oz.
When we watch that Miami four straight top tens allowed
to opposing runners, and then Bill Crosskey merrit Hey, everybody plays,
everybody wins. Highest was week five, he had scored twenty
six points. I just think there's fireworks galore here, So
we want some shares in it.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
I know this is crazy, but I mean, is this
the week for the Jets? Is this the week that
we get win Numero Uno? Looking at looking at the ledger,
looking at the slate of games. They do have the
Browns at home in early November November ninth. Is that game?
Then you have a matchup at home with the Dolphins

(16:02):
December seventh, So if you're gonna get it done, it's
probably gonna be at home.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
Yeah, they have a few quote unquote winnable games over
the next few weeks. But I mean until they actually
win a game, I'm not picking them to win.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
An you get Chuba Hubbard back, so it'll be him
and Rico Dowdell running in tandem.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Jets defense stepped up to the plate last week.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
We're better last week.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yes, still not not ready to do it against the
Bryce Young lead Panthers. All right, I'm not willing to
put my neck on the line for Survivor, But why
would that be some fun watching?

Speaker 1 (16:38):
On? Why is Dan muttering under his breath for three hours?
He's been pacing in front of the.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Telegramon I got knocked out of a Survivor pool a
few years ago into Patriots Giants game that finished like
ten to seven. Giants beat the Patriots, and the Patriots dominated,
and that's what Maybe the Panthers have score a few
more points, but it was the same stadium, so it
feels like it could have the same same vibes. But anyway,
all right, let's get to the cold source. The guys

(17:07):
you don't want to get in your lineup. Some names
that you may recognize, but you may want to keep
them out of your starting lineup, Mike, what do you
got a.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Little bit of fear for CJ. Stroud against Seattle? You're
looking at his last effort was twenty eight and eight
point eight points before that, Struggling a bit Seattle giving
up seventeen points per game, ten touchdowns, seven picks last
week injury and they're still saddled with some injuries. But
looking for on the effort here as we're still trying

(17:34):
to figure out what that Houston offense becomes. Jackson Dart
going up against Denver giving up just eleven point six
fantasy points per game. Now does he break off a
couple of runs? Maybe, yeah, but that's a little bit
of wishing and hoping and we're not doing that. We're
gonna take the chalk with Tua against Cleveland a fewest
fantasy points allowed. He's twenty fifth amongst quarterbacks averaging fewer

(17:57):
than fifteen fantasy points per game. Pollard, not that you
were necessarily starting him, but hey, starters find their way
into the back end of RB two or flex situations. Well,
now you got Spears with the snap count and rising
up in that status, so we take him away. Likewise,
eh Chan, go back to that Miami Cleveland games. You're

(18:19):
looking at a difficult spot. Had that twenty nine point
performance in Week six, but otherwise it's been middling and
Cleveland's run defense at home very strong. Going a little
bit deeper, DeVante Smith, He's fortieth averaging just eight point
eight fantasy points per games going up against Minnesota, fewest
receptions allowed on the outside and just two touchdowns to

(18:43):
wide receivers. So no, thank you, Michael Pittman against the
Chargers twenty second, averaging about eleven points per game, but
you're not seeing the big pop going up against that team.
You're looking at Juwan Jennings. We do get George Kittle back,
it appears, but against the Atlantic Corners a tough sledding

(19:04):
not to mention, I think he gave us and he
held up his own personal version of the operation game
with everything he's got going on. So I don't know
if that's a ropeid dope kind of situation or if
he is truly gonna get broken in half. And then
we look at the Arizona backfield for this week, trying
to flip a coin as to who's gonna get a

(19:24):
workload and an opportunity. You're basically begging for a goal
line opportunity against Green Bay. I'll just stay away from
it all together.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
All right, they're are cold soares for week seven? The
guys you want to stay away from. Yeah, I played
totally Pollard up for the first six weeks of the season,
but I no longer at this point. Not that it's
to what Mike said, Taj Spears now taking some snaps
away and if he can't do it against the Raiders,

(19:55):
I don't think it's gonna happen against New England in
week seven. All right, let's get to the sneaky place
the Ninjas for week seven.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Mike, what you got is ian gonna jump through the
phone line. If I try to purport that you can
trust Justin Fields as a deep Ninja this week. You
can do what you want.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
But I was debating, I've got in by one of
my team's I got Caleb Williams as well. I got
a quarterback trio of Caleb Williams, Daniel Jones and Justin Fields.
In Fields, I mean, you want to talk about feaster famine. Yeah,
like it has been extreme with him.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Really, He'll go from like thirty points to negative two points.
So I mean, yeah, you know Russian roulette, go.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
For it ready, So here it is for this week
twenty or for this season thus far, for justin fields.
Because you've currently ranked thirteenth at eighteen point three fantasy
points per game, which shows you how nuts this is.
Twenty nine to five four, Week three nothing, Week four,
twenty seven point one, Week five, twenty five point nine,

(20:57):
Week six four point nine. You want to talk about
riding the lightning? Good lord. Other side of that matchup,
Bryce Young going up against the Jets, they're giving up
nearly nineteen fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Is
it a must kind of situation? No, because one thing,

(21:17):
we have came into the league season expecting the Jets
defense to be strong, and on occasion they have shown
up for you. So a little bit of a price shot,
but an opportunity here Trevor Lawrence, who's also been much maligned,
and the numbers aren't overwhelming in their wins, but he's
got three games with nineteen or more fantasy points back

(21:38):
to back strong weeks, so maybe an opportunity overseas looks
like he's nice and settled in shaking hands, kissing babies
with all the folks that made the trip or have
shown up to support they practice schedule. Vidal going up
against Indianapolis maybe not necessarily a ninja based on what
he did last week, but usually fantasy owners are fickle

(21:59):
for they want to see you do it again before
they jump on board. But twenty one point three is
the first time starter last week. Mentioned Chris Moore earlier
with all the injuries in Washington, three for five for
forty six against the Bears with a touchdown and looking
like he may need to take on a bigger load.
McCaffrey was just one for one with that broken play touchdown,

(22:21):
so a little bit more of a price shot if
you want to go there. Zach Ertz six for six
against the Bears last week, so maybe an opportunity for him,
and what do we expect to be a high scoring game.
DeAndre Swift, I'm not chasing it. Last week was fool's
goal for me. Hard to say, hey, stay away from him,

(22:41):
and perhaps maybe hard to call him a ninja, but
going up against New Orleans, we still expect a decent
workload for him. The offensive line played well in Week six,
so maybe a little bit more there. Merm Andre Stevenson
last man last attempt maybe maybe to see given up
four point six yards per carry and he's still getting

(23:03):
a pretty high workload. As much as folks may be
doing letter writing campaigns to stop that. Winnington against Jacksonville.
With Nikua out, we're looking for more targets. Travis Hunter
going up against the Rams, maybe an opportunity where we
get a little bit of a showcase we've been trying
to see about his workload. And then two last ones

(23:26):
Mason Taylor going up against Carolina giving up some solid
points to tight ends and then Harold Fannin as the
last man standing one and did the other being Dylan
Gabriel doesn't push the ball down the field. So maybe
an opportunity here. Judy's got a knee injury and Joku
has already been ruled out.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Yeah, I had to replace in Joku in one of
the leagues because of the knee injury just when he
got in, got some action and was turning around. That
didn't work out in Cleveland, but again that those conditions there,
I don't think you're going to see a lot of
football is being chucked down the field. So the short
passing game is going to be very instrumental for the

(24:04):
Browns and Dolphins because of just how bad it is
expected to be in Cleveland on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
All Rightady for a fun stat for Dylan Gabriel re quick.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Yeah, let's hear it.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Three pass attempts of over twenty yards and eighty nine
attempts oh geez, just sixteen beyond ten yards.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
So he plays every game like he's playing in forty.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Mine, that is.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Should be well suited. Maybe we'll get some Browns action
coming up next. I don't know, we'll see. Ian's got
a streaming defenses. I got a Points of Palooza and
some survivor information for you. Mike can sit back and
relax and critique Ian and mine in my work. Next,
it's all coming up here, and I want your flex

(24:44):
all right, it's time for Ian Roddy to give us
streaming defenses. I will have your Survivor pick and your
Points of Paloosa. Mike Carmen can again critique what we've done. Ian,
who are your top three streaming defenses for the week.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
So we've been alluding to it throughout the show. Line
of Panthers are going up against the Jets. I'm streaming
their defense this week. They're twenty four point eight percent rostered,
playing against justin fields, like I said, and the Jets
have allowed by far the highest pressure rate in the
NFL thanks to fields holding out of the ball forever
whenever he drops back. He also takes sacks at the

(25:19):
second highest rate in the NFL. And this whole Jets
team has had fumble issues all season long to this point.
And then on top of all that, no Garrett Wilson
this week. So Carolina Panthers really really nice streaming defense
this week. Next up your Chicago Bears, Mike, Yeah, fifteen
percent rostered. Their defense has actually been pretty underrated this
year save for that Lions game. They're second in the

(25:41):
league in takeaways, and they're playing against the Saints, who
are bottom five in points per game and bottom ten
in yards per game. So I like that matchup. The
Saints are still a sneaky good team this year, but
just in terms of streaming defenses, I like the Bears
defense against them. And then lastly, the Jacksonville Jaguars. You've
been There were a few ninjas and hot plays in

(26:02):
this game, Mike, but they're twenty four point four percent
roster they're playing against the Rams. Like you said, little
intimidating match up there, but remember pukin Aku is out,
like you said, they won't have him to worry about.
It's just Avante Adams, so if they can really focus
on him a lot, I can see them taking them away.
Jacksonville has also quietly been one of the better fantasy

(26:23):
defenses on the year, so it's actually pretty surprising to
see them this available in most leagues. They're third on
the season in terms of fantasy points, and then they
rank second in turnover rate and our third best in
opponents scoring rate as well. So I like the Jacksonville
defense here.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Yeah, they take some old cues from the Peanut Tillman
school of football.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
They did the punch outs.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Yeah yeah, punch outs are all over and we know
the Rams and ball security with their running backs is
certainly a question bears throwing back to the Lovey Smith
era with some of the lucky bounces. I mean, look,
it is what it is. Troy may not like it,
but you know, you win football games however you can.
And then Carolina Jets one of the more interesting games

(27:08):
for me. I have no idea what I'm getting, but
I certainly have seen plenty of Justin Field's bad plays
to fuel nightmares. Because it is the Halloween season, so
why not continue that with another sequel.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
I'll tell you a funny story. There's a family friend
of my wife's who said to her, Hey, they're going
to be going to a Jets game. My wife's family's
friend at some point this season. She goes, could you
ask Carrie if he could maybe get them sideline passes
or something for the game. I'll talk about Carrie Rhodes,

(27:42):
who I do the show with on Sunday afternoons here
on Fox Sports Radio. And I said, okay, I go,
I'll ask, I'll see if he's able to hook something
up for them. She's like, they have tickets, they just
you know, if there's something to do. And so I
said to Carrie, I said, hey, I go, there's a
family you know friend, you know, would you be able

(28:02):
to hook them up? And he's like, what game? And
I go the Panthers in October. He goes, oh, yeah, absolutely,
absolutely yeah. And so we've joked on how you know
we couldn't do it for the Bills, you know, probably
not for a Patriots game, but the Panthers game. Absolutely, absolutely,
And what do you know, Kerrie did hook them up.
So yeah, yeah, so the the family friend thinks Carrie

(28:23):
Rhoads is just an absolute god. But I would have
hated to have said, you know, it's that Bills game
in week two or you know, yeah, yeah, but Panthers
absolutely we'll win this. Yes, bring more, you bring ten
people on the field if you want.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Not sure how close you get to anything, but we
might get some great audio.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
Yeah, so Panthers Panthers Jets coming up on Sunday. I'll
tell you it was a thought to mine, Uh, to
maybe be a survivor. You have to at least pick
somebody out of the ordinary at some point. If you
want to last, you kind of you got to have
an edge towards towards the end, especially with how big

(29:02):
survivor pools are getting now with I mean, you're going
to have people making it through all eighteen weeks, and
if you just kind of go along status quo, you're
probably going to run out of teams at some point
and find a dead end road. So Panther's Jets could
be that option. I always go with the home teams.
You guys know that. I always like that, but I'm
not willing to put my money where my mouth is.

(29:23):
I really had thought about the Browns, and the Browns
I think are a team because of the weather, because
of their defense, and I don't know how many points
are going to be scored in this game, but I
just feel that of the strongest of the four units,
it's Cleveland's defense with conditions. So if you want to
look at Cleveland, go ahead, Mike. I think your Bears

(29:45):
are a nice pick this week, and I think you're
probably going to get a lot of Chicago with the
Saints coming to town. The only thing that is just
a little sketchy with me is the short week. You know,
we're playing Monday night. You get that big win for Chicago,
where at least the Saints would have an extra day.
But those are the three spots that I'm looking So
if I'm putting you down, I'll put you down for

(30:05):
Bears and Bears and Browns, and then your obvious pick
me meeting all my criteria. It's the Broncos at home
against the Giants. If you want to play it safe
with a good team, go with the Broncos cross conference
opponent Denver. Sure they came back from London. That could
be a concern, But I just don't necessarily trust Jackson

(30:25):
Darton to see how well the Jets. Excuse me, the
Broncos got after the Jets last week. The defense seems primed.
So give me the Broncos as a pick over.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
The Giants forty and a half seven and a half
point favorites. And that one for the Broncos the Bears
four and a half point favorites, forty six and a
half here Cleveland two and a half points favorites. You
know what the over under in that one is what
thirty six?

Speaker 3 (30:52):
Geez, the wins will be higher than the actual points total.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
That's stand byer our meteor. That was great. Yeah, I
that one. That one will be interesting because it becomes
the week to week Uh, which which guy gets shown
the plank first?

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Is it tour McDaniel, Yeah, gosh, it's gotta be McDaniel, right, Yes,
even if two is trying to push everybody else off
the plank himself.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Yeah, crazy times.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Yes, So Broncos are your safe pick. Chiefs are a
nice pick as well, with the Raiders coming to town
and again division sometimes you want to stay away from that.
But I'll put the Broncos and then your your risky
one go Bears Browns if you will. So all right
there it is your points of Paloza Survivor and streaming defenses.
Mike had his rankings and not plays in gold Soores
earlier in the broadcast. So that's it for us. Now

(31:46):
we get to talk to you after week seven. So
for Mike, Carmen and Ian Roddy, good luck guys, hopefully
it is a lucky week seven. I'm Dan Byer. We'll
talk to you next time right here, and I want
your flex
