Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies, and you want experience during your football season, well
buckle up, sweet cheeks. What we've got all the experience
in the world.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
This is I Want your Flex.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
With Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break
down everything you need to set your lineups, from position
rankings to starts and sits. The guys help you make
those hard decisions. And now let's get your flex. Ond
here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
One game in the books, fifteen more to go in
week fifteen. Welcome in.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
It is I want your flex And honestly, no one
is starting hotter than Mike Harmon, who on our previous
podcast told you to pick up Kirk Cousins, and after
what he did to the Buccaneers defense, you have every
reason to listen to what Mike's going to say for
the next forty minutes. Often I was gonna say often running,
but it's more like often sprinting for you arman this week.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, it's not a bad start to things. Nice and
comfortable in the pocket seeing the SIV like scenario for
the Buccaneers defense. Didn't quite think they'd collapse the same way, No,
Drake London. So it's like, where are they gonna go? Well,
they've been very susceptible to getting a hit by the
tight end. But Kyle Pitts eleven of twelve, that's right,
just twelve targets one sixty six and three on the night. Yeah,

(01:20):
we all saw that coming, right Lord, he had one
touchdown all season.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
Yes, I thought they great spot for Darnell Mooney, No,
everything to Pitts.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Well, and then he fumbled the ball and nobody from
Tampa decided to jump on. That's one of the dumbest
things I've ever seen. Like that still shot of that
should be hung in the loove of everybody staring at
the ball like it was the gift of the Magi
or something holiday holiday holiday season, but like just absolutely insane.
The Sills drop of a would be touchdown pass man,

(01:50):
you should have been cut right there, Although he did
end up making a big catch that helped them seal
the game. But if Jean Robinson gets you over one
hundred and seventy total yards, the Buccaneers had to defend two.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Guys, yes, de Sean and Kyle Pitts.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
And the gunslinger Kirk Cousins seventy.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Three and three only one sack on the night, nice
and comfortable swinging it around just crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Well, it was a good call by you. Ian Roddy,
our executive producer is going to have some streaming defenses
coming up later on, so hopefully Ian can get some
vibes off of the Kirk Cousins prediction and have it
in his streaming defenses. And I hope to steal some
as well with some points of Palos and Survivor coming
up at the end of the episode. But let's just
get into it, Mike, because it's a full slate of games.

(02:36):
Everybody's playing buys are over its playoff time. Let's get
to the top five quarterback plays for week fifteen.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah, we get some new quarterback blood into They won't
be in the top five though. Matthew Stafford against Detroit
get it going the roller coaster the last five games,
but averaging over twenty points for the year. He's six
to overall two of his last four games, though under
fourteen fantasy points. Don't see that happening here against the
banged up, pleaded Detroit back seven. They've given up the

(03:02):
fifth most fantasy points per game this year. Joe Burrow,
he may be sullen, but he's gonna play. I just
think he didn't get what he wanted for his birthday. Okay,
he really wants a trade, but that's a discussion for
another time. Nineteen point two to twenty five point four
in his two games back, going against a Baltimore team,
they still have the chance to play spoiler and get
after it. Baltimore middling against quarterbacks. Josh Allen against New England,

(03:25):
he's your leader in the clubhouse, nearly twenty five fantasy
points per game nine times. He's going over twenty this
year in New England again middling, just sixteen point four
fantasy points allowed. But Josh Allen, it looks like he's
putting the cape back on fellas, which means more in
the rushing department, which gets us that equalizer. Maybe he's
just been saving his legs for good, like my mom

(03:45):
used to do with every Christmas and Birthday gift we
gave her that found its way to a back of
a closet, ultimately to go into a good will pile,
never being worn, with the tags still on them. And
then we've got Jackson Dark going up against Washington. Seventeen
point six are better in all but one star this year,
Washington's sixth most fantasy points allowed darts. The metrics for

(04:05):
what he's had to navigate from a competitive standpoint really
kind of impressive and curious to me for future concerns,
but for fantasy purposes. Top five pick for this week.
And then finally, Drake May let's go youth again against Buffalo.
He's certainly been fantastic all season long, finding different options.
He's fifth averaging twenty point four fantasy points per game

(04:28):
five straight where he's been at that metric, and you've
got the Bills tied for fourth best against quarterbacks. Looking
for a little bit of a counterintuitive play and a
high scoring potential affair here in Buffalo.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
That should be a good one for the AFC East
Patriots can clinch you that can get a win. Also,
the Burrow talk, I immediately just went back to the
Jets and all right, is this the opportunity? Is the
Gears starting to grind for a possible trade. He would
be really crappy, honestly if Jill Burrow was doubt or
wanted out after fighting for Jamar Chase and t Higgins

(05:05):
to get their money. And then he's like, all right,
I'm gonna force my way out of here. I don't
think that would be the coolest of things, but it'll
make for an interesting offseason.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
To say the least.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
He can channel the old Carson Palmer move. Hey, I'm done,
but yeah, it'd be curious, right, and a lot of
talk about quarterback salaries and what it does.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Like.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
No, that just means you need to be better at
your job. For the other fifty two guys, because ask
a Jets fan, ask a Bears fan. Up until I
you know, a couple of blips on the radar. If
I got a quarterback that I trust weekend week out,
I've already won the lottery. It's all a matter of
just filling it out from there.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Let's get to the top five running backs. Mike, the
guys you gotta get in your lineup for Week fifteen.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
McCaffrey against Tennessee twenty two fantasy points per game, three
straight under fourteen, so a little concerning there. But going
up against Tennessee, they're giving up about four receptions per game.
That's where you're gonna make the make the Hey, four
catches thirty yards per game average allowed to running back,
so expect him to be active in the past game
Devon against Pittsburgh, he's been fantastic, fourth, averaging eighteen point

(06:09):
eight per game seventeen or better five of his last six.
And you're looking up against Pittsburgh because they're reeling with
some things. TJ. Watt found himself in a Tarad Taylor
situation of in a hospital after a treatment and probably
won't play, So opportunity there, no question about it. Jamiir

(06:30):
Gibbs going up against the Rams is one of the
most entertaining games I think potentially on the slate. Here
you're looking at some ridiculous performance every other though. He's
got that seesaw thing riding on here. He's got four
games of thirty three plus points on the year, but
the last five six weeks it's been the all right, dominant, Okay, dominant, Okay,

(06:52):
he's due for an okay, but I think he outperforms Rams.
Still third best against running backs. How about Travis Etn
going up against the Jets, third most allowed twenty four
points per game. Three of his last four he's gone
over nineteen points to give him an opportunity here, and
then we got Derrick Henry twelve down the year, even
though he doesn't catch the ball sixteen point nine or

(07:14):
better four of his last seven since the buye and
the Cincinnati Bengals the worst defense against running backs in
the National Football League.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
And then they are your top five running backs. Good
to see Derreck Henry in that rankings, which should be
an interesting matchup with those Bengals that we talked about earlier.
And yeah, that Rams Lions game, I have no idea
what to expect, but it's kind of like one of
those pinball games. I'm starting to feel. So you got
Stafford number one, and he said Gibbs is on, Gibbs
us off, maybe because of their funky schedule with the

(07:44):
two Thursday games and now the Sunday. He kind of
changes that trend with back to back strong outings.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Maybe a little bit of normalcy as we get down
the straight in the twenty twenty five. Have we seen
any of that in the National Football League?

Speaker 4 (07:58):
No, no note at all. Will we see any normal
see with the wide receivers, who are the top five
MIKE for Week fifteen.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
A bunch of usual suspects dotting the lines here. Let's
start with JSN averaging nearly nineteen fantasy points per game,
recovering from that season low with a nice twenty four
point six performance five games over twenty over the course
of this run, sixteen point nine to eighteen point one
in four other games. So he's been fantastic up and down.

(08:27):
And I gotta think that Seattle does ball control. And
that's the only thing that I'm afraid of here, is
that you do just go to the ground game and
just try to get out of dodge a little bit,
especially because the other side, I mean, we haven't even
mentioned Baltimore, I mean, Philip Rivers.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Maybe we will hot Ninjab, maybe a hot play.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Let's you never can tell. Lots more to come, but
potentially a big time effort here for Seattle. Pouka the
Kua going up against Detroit. We talked about this matchup
a lot. Still looking at monster numbers. His last effort
was the first twenty plus since Week four, but on average,

(09:06):
you're looking at a guy at seventeen point seven points
per game. Jamar Chase going up against Baltimore. His last
twenty point performance came in week seven fifteen point one
or fewer last five. Looking for a bigger opportunity here
against Baltimore again they get still cond play spoiler and
make Joe Burrow smile t Higgins out once again. So
yoshavas back up on the slate as well. I'm on

(09:30):
Ross Saint Brown a lot of reliance that this game
actually lives up to the hype. As you can tell.
You crunch the numbers and start pushing guys up and
down the board. You're like, you don't want to just
get cute for the sake of being cute. Rams our
fourteenth most fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. You look
at the opportunity here for Amnra played through the injury,

(09:53):
rallied with a big effort last time out, see it again,
and then top five play going up against that Arizona secondary.
Let's go Nico Collins. I don't know that you're gonna
give me a rushing touchdown. He's currently tenth in the
National Football League, averaging twelve point eight Fantasy points per game.
He's got nineteen or better three of his last five
Arizona mid opportunity here for Nico Collins.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
All right, there they are your top five wide receivers
four week fifteen.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
A lot more to come.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Mike's got his hot plays and cold source plus some
Ninjas and yeah weather, Philip Rivers makes the category of
any of the three. He's always a topic of conversation,
and we'll talk about him as well. So he's Ian Roddy,
that's Mike Carmon. I'm Dan Beyer. More to come right
here on. I want your flex all right, A lot
more names to get to. Mike Carmon's hot plays for

(10:42):
a week fifteen. Guys who didn't make the top five,
but you should get in your lineup.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Mike, take it away.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
My random grid of numbers. Let's make sense of it.
Trevor Lawrence going up against the Jets, obviously talk about ETNA,
what he's been able to do, the arrival of Jacoby Myers.
Is doing a fantastic edition nineteen point four to twenty
one point seven his last three games. Do you trust
Trevor Lawrence comes Fantasy playoff time? I don't know, but

(11:08):
it's a good spot here against a Jets defense that
is in the middle of the pack averaging about sixteen
point seven points per game allowed. How about Sam Darnold
back to that game against Indianapolis twenty three point three
Week fourteen. He's got four games over twenty on the year. Yeah,
only averaging fifteen point four per But here's an opportunity

(11:32):
against Indy. CJ. Stroud going up against Arizona. You've got Higgins.
You know he's been more active. Three catches are better,
five straight games already talking about Nico Collins, and look
for that defense on the takeaways for CJ. Stroud, this
would be a step up in class. Last two games
since coming back just ten and twelve point six fantasy

(11:55):
points scored. But Arizona ninth most generous back position. We
go to Chase Brown, He's got fourteen plus fantasy points
six straight games, going up against Baltimore in the middle
of the back, but they give up one hundred and
twelve rushing yards per game. Sakuon Barkley, how about that
his best since Week eight with that eighteen point two?
Can we do it again? I don't know why he

(12:16):
didn't get the ball late. A lot of questions. They
got rid of the inspirational rabbit or whatever the hell
that thing was good supposed to be, So we get
back to that. Vegas tied for ninth, given up twenty
two fantasy points per game, one hundred and fourteen on
the ground. Chris Rodriguez a little bit of a boomer
bus kind of play, but three straight games where he's
got double digit touches and going up against a bad

(12:38):
Giants defense that's the second most generous to opposing runners,
giving up one hundred and fifty four yards per game
on the ground. Tenor ro on McMillan, because if I
call him ten, people get mad. New Orleans second most
generous allowed seven games over ten He's only got one
game over seventeen points. Fellas. So while it's been consistent
that ceiling has been pretty low, that hits even me

(13:01):
as a fire plug of a man. But I'm still
going for an opportunity here top twenty play and with
the opportunity to get after and solidify their playoff positioning
here in a divisional matchup. How about Justin Jefferson, probably
the first time we've said his name in positive terms.
Why because Dallas is on the other side. Five straight
weeks with eight point six Fantasy points or fewer. His

(13:24):
season high came back in week four that was a
seventeen point six point performance. But Dallas, as we've seen,
still civil likes, still give you an opportunity. Jamison Williams
back to back seven reception games, two hundred and forty
total yards during that time going up against the Rams,
so we get some more love for that big matchup.
And then Jalen Wattell going up against Pittsburgh, Well, the

(13:46):
pass rush, as we talked about, compromised here eighth most
generous to wide receivers. Look, I'm not looking for monster
numbers in this spot, but look, you've got an opportunity
again Miami suddenly back in the playoff picture and a
compromise Pittsburgh d that we already had questions about.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
The Justin Jefferson thing.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
I think like Minnesota is like, all right, now we're
gonna just We're going to establish this run Aaron Jones,
Jordan Mason, and I think they just need to establish
Justin Jefferson when they beat Detroit, like Jefferson had a
first quarter touchdown in that contest. But this is also
coming from a completely biased person who has Justin Jefferson
in my longtime league.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
So I'm just riding it out, Mike.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
So I'm hope hopeful that you're right this week that
maybe there's more opportunities for him for a Vikings offense
that even with j J McCarthy is not getting him
the football.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah, I mean we're still at that, We're at that
unfortunate point. You just had to dance with the who
brung you, right if if you've written it this time
to this point in the season, Ah, you can't break
the glass in week Fife.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
I'll tell you. I'll tell you what. I looked at
it like this.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
I said, you are benching Justin Jefferson unless you're a
stubborn ass. And I think I am. And I'm I
just I've like that. I've I've been riding it and
I've got two catches for the four yards against the Seahawks,
two catches last week. I'm like, all right, let's saddle
up for a week. Indeed, you're gonna get me there

(15:15):
one way or another.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Can we get him and Joe Burrow reunited so they
can just hug each other.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Oh man, it'll all get better. Fellas.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
I just I could not live with myself if I
benched him and then it's like this was the breakout.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
So I'm just I'm going down with the ship. If
that's the case.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I appreciate that. That is, uh, that stubborn ass.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Yeah, it is good.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
That's safe for the podcast seem exactly. Okay, Ian's giving
me the thumbs.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Up to that you can technically say anything on the podcast,
truly bomb.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
You could go full Todd Bowls if you want it.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Yeah, we won't do that. We I think there are
kids in the car when people listen.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
All right, let's get to the cold soores for a
week fifteen, Micu not to put in your lineup.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
We go big game hunting with a couple of quarterbacks.
Right off the jump, with Mahomes going up against the
Chargers season low eight point three points last week, fewer
than fifteen three of his last five Chargers thirteen point
three fantasy points allowed per game to quarterbacks to second best. Now, Mahomes,
maybe he gives you a little bit of extra love

(16:19):
with his leg. But tell me, Jesse Minter, with all
the speculation and people washing him up all this week,
with what's going on at Michigan and coming off of
that big performance that his team had last time out,
tell me he doesn't want to have some signature moment
here in Kansas City to put the final dagger and
slay the dragon once and for all. So that's where

(16:40):
we'll start things. So he's no better than a high
end QB two for me this week. How about Dak
going up against Minnesota. They've been pretty good, giving up
just eighteen fantasy points per game eleven best, So some
solid numbers here. You look at what they really excel
at his outside receivers. So'll be curious to see how
Schottenheimer deployed, and you know, the staff deploy the wideouts

(17:05):
because Minnesota has been good on the edges. But here's
an opportunity. Maybe maybe he's pushed down. He's still a starter,
of course, but this is one where I'm putting up
the cautionary tale. Bo Nick's going up against Green Bay.
I think on both sides of the equation, this could
be a grinded out find find a fuel goal or
two kind of process here forty two and a half

(17:26):
the over under last I looked. And then Jacoby Brissett
at Houston may maybe a little odd of a use here.
You know, since it's playoff weeks, people like Joey Jacobett. Well,
he's been fantastic with eighteen points six points or better
in six straight games. But going up against Houston, that'll
beat the breaks off everybody he's tied for seventh most
sacks taken. He's played in ten games. I mean that

(17:49):
includes the ones that he didn't even start, Sir. They're
giving up just twelve fantasy points per game to quarterbacks
running back position Jonathan Taylor against Seattle, can he chip?
Do we get points if he's chipping and trying to
save the life of Philip Rivers. I don't know. Three
straight games with fewer than fourteen points. He's still number one,
but CMC and others are closing fast. Seattle six best

(18:13):
against running backs, just sixteen fantasy points a lot per games,
just seventy point five rushing yards allowed. Now, where they
do get hit a little bit is in the past game.
So if Taylor can leak out after maybe saving Philip
rivers life, then perhaps you have an opportunity there with
a little bit of a jail break. But I'm not optimistic.
Prit's all going up against Jacksonville fifth best against the run,

(18:35):
three point nine yards per carry. He's got six games
with fewer than ten fantasy points on the year. Much
to my sugar in because that's one of those that
I'm agonizing with Dan when we're Ian, when we're talking
about these squads and our own considerations on rosters. James
Cook going up against New Englam again, You're starting to
need to set it forget it, Ronco, but New England

(18:57):
best against fantasy rusher fewer than ninety rushing yards allowed
again where he can make them. Hey, as he's been
more active in the passing game, just one twenty point
performance his last six times out. Quickly wide receivers mccaukeee
against Kansas City. Hey, he might have a touchdown. It's
every other week and he's due. But he's only got
to eight catches for sixty four yards last three games out.

(19:18):
DeVante Smith, are you trusting anything? Even with Las Vegas
on the other side of things, Are you trusting this
one touchdown his last six games? He's only got two
one hundred yard games over the course of the year,
just five over sixty receiving yards. And then Stefan Diggs
against Buffalo Huge the last time out, ten for one
forty six, but three straight scoreless games and just two
games over sixty receiving yards in his last eight.

Speaker 4 (19:41):
Yeah, that game is interesting because it's not gonna be
two cold, It's gonna be temperature in the thirties ish.
But when we see how these teams play over under
his what are on fifty? I think it's forty nine
and a half the last time I looked.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
So you're expecting some points between these squads, but so
much as at stake, I just don't.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
I don't think it.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
But who moves the Patriots to get into a shootout
by any means? And so and Drake May's got a
lot of different targets to throw to so and get
the football too, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
I would, I would think this grinds down. That under
is pretty sweet. It's not the negative twenty degrees or
whatever the hell it's going to be in Chicago. Yeah,
if you want to go see shud or Sanders, you
can get in for about eighty bucks, and I get
I would guess game day you can play half of that. Yeah,
willing to go sit there.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
It's gonna be Chile, Chile and Cincinnati as well, except
that since he's not on the lake like Chicago is.
But gonna be a cold one there as well. All right,
let's get some the Ninjas. Mike the Sneaky Place for
Week fifteen.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
This is the dollar Fantasy throw it up against the
wall and see if anything sticks. It's the holiday season.
Maybe maybe you give it like a scratch off lottery ticket.
And that's JJ McCarthy going against Dallas just because Dallas
is still worst they've They've popped up against a couple
of bad teams, and maybe this is an opportunity where

(20:56):
they pin their ears back and they can get after it.
But I think even in savor mode, you'll find a
little bit of love. Mariota going up against the Giants.
He's back in yeah, minus one point one in his
relief last week. Daniels back to the shelf. Last three starts,
we're eighteen point seven to sixteen point four and twenty
four point three. Giants' fourth most generous to opposing quarterbacks

(21:18):
ju a tongue Bai loa Yeah, ten fewer than ten,
four of his last five, just averaging twelve point two
for the year. See how much confidence I gave you
in starting him. But Pittsburgh's seventh most generous about twenty
fantasy points per game. Again, no TJ. Watt. Perhaps a
little bit of yak is your friend here at Pittsburgh.
You've got Wini Mark's going up against Arizona. Fourth most

(21:40):
generous fourteen point six and week fourteen. It's a nice
rebound from a three game cold cold front. Say what now,
it's all weather jokes. Tyron Tracy going up against Washington
the other side. You got three straight three double digit
games this year. That's two of the last three coming
out of the by Washington's sixth most fantasy points a lot.

(22:02):
They give up nearly one hundred and thirty five yards
per game on the ground. Judkins going against Chicago again.
Chicago has been very generous and allowing yardage, so if
you're just looking for touches and opportunity, he still becomes
a solid play here as a number two Bears giving
up the six month rushing yards per game about twenty

(22:25):
fantasy points per quickly. Wide receivers waddle, No, I'm sorry,
that's one Dale Robinson, we already did waddle on the
other side, four more receptions, five straight games, works out
of the slot. He's doing some great things there. Washington
ninth most generous to wide receivers Z eight Flowers against
the Bengals because he's the only guy that you can
kind of trust in that Baltimore offense. And you look

(22:48):
at the Bengals like defensively, still struggling pretty decent against
wide receivers, but Za Flowers the go to guy. And
then we mentioned Jacoby Myers a little bit earlier his
last three thirteen, eighteen point three, twelve point eight becoming
a go to guy for Trevor Lawrence. Jet's still tenth
best against wide receivers, but again looking for a little

(23:08):
bit of balance from the Jacksonville Jaguars, knowing that they've
got an opportunity at this division and to go fight
the Texans down the stretch.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
And there they are.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
You're a hot plays cold soars in Ninja's four week fifteen.
The information doesn't stop there. Ian Roddy sitting by with
his streaming defenses. Plus I got a points of Palooza
and a Survivor pick. And if you've managed this far
in Survivor, maybe you don't even need my advice, but
we'll give you one anyway. That's all next tier on,
I want your flex time now for Ian Roddy, our

(23:39):
executive producer, to take the reins. Find him on exit.
Ian Roddy Underscore. You could find Mike at Swollen Dob
and find me at Dan Bayern Fox Take it away.
Ian with your streaming defenses for week fifteen.

Speaker 5 (23:50):
Okay, so I've got three again this week, but I
do want to throw in a fourth that really doesn't
qualify as streaming defense. The Jacksonville Jaguars are seventy six
percent rostered, so they're probably not going to be out
there on your waiver. But they're playing against the Jets,
who are starting Brady Cook, an undrafted rookie at quarterback.
So if by some chance the Jaguars are out there,

(24:10):
I very much would pick them up and start them.
But again, seventy six percent rostered in ESPN League, so
it's a very low chance that it's acting.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
This is very unean like Mike, and I think he's
doing it to not jinx the Jets, not that they
aren't jinxd already, but it's like a reverse psychology play
to be like, hey, I'll take the James.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
Full disclosure didn't even cross my mind, although if if
that's a hidden benefit here, then I will take it.
But no, Brady Cook, he threw multiple interceptions last week
just in relief of Tyrod Taylor went down with injury.
So the Jaguars are They're already a pretty good defense
in real life. So yeah, I just I'm not expecting

(24:49):
a very good day from the Jets or Brady Cook there.
So if they're there, try and get them. But they
probably aren't, so let's get into the ones who actually
might be there. The San Francisco forty nine ers forty
two percent rostered lastnight playing against cam Ward and the Titans,
who we've been targeting throughout the year for streaming defenses.
Ward has shown promise, and to me, it's just me.
I think he's clearly talented. He's still a good streaming

(25:12):
defense target though because of how many sacks he takes.
He's the only QB or sorry, the only QB with
a higher per game sack rate this year than cam
Ward is Carson Wentz, who only started a few games
and he's out for the year now, so that's really
saying something. The Niners haven't really been sacking the quarterback
at a high rate this year, especially after losing Nick
Bosa and Fred Warner to their injuries, but the pass

(25:34):
rush still has some upside against young qbs that are
prone to sacks, and Ward is exactly that. So Niners
are your first one there. Secondly, the Dallas Cowboys thirty
seven percent rostered, Mike, you mentioned it. They're going up
against JJ McCarthy and the Vikings. McCarthy obviously had that
nice game last week against the Commanders. Personally, though, I'm
just gonna need to see him stack performances like that

(25:55):
before I start like avoiding him in these streaming defense matchups.
Cowboys defense played a lot better since the trade deadline
people have been talking about it. They've had top five
finishes against the Commanders, Cardinals, and Raiders, so they've shown
the ability to put up good performances against exploitable offenses,
and that's what the Vikings are right now. So Dallas
Cowboys are the second one. And lastly, the Chicago Bears

(26:16):
your Bears, Mic thirty rostered playing. Yeah, they're playing against
Shaduur Sanders and the Browns, who obviously had that huge
game last week. It's a little intimidating for that reason.
The thing is, though, Chaduur did that against the Titans,
who are quite possibly the worst defense in the entire league.
Not taking anything away, any fifth round pick throwing for
three hundred plus that's really impressive. So again I'm not

(26:37):
taking that away, but I just don't view it as
a reason to fear him going forward. The Titans defense
also actually had a pretty decent fantasy day regardless, thanks
to a pair of turnovers and a pair of sacks
and that, Mike, you know this. That's what the Bears do.
They get their production from the amount of turnovers that
they force, right, just absurd numbers. So that's how they

(26:57):
get their production. And against a young quarterback who's prone
to mistakes, I'm gonna bet that they get they get
some more here. So and then also that's crazy yeah,
and you mentioned it too, Mike. It's gonna be really cold,
so that helps the defense as well. But so there
you go Bears exactly, so Bears, Cowboys and Niners and
then Jaguars. That's a little bonus if you can get them.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
Here's here's the thing that I think about with with weather,
like when it's last week and snowing, and by the way,
great job by the Bills and Bengals to be able
to navigate that weather and do what they were able
to do and put up seventy three points. But when
it gets it gets cold like that, you also don't
like to get hit, and I think guys get tentative
they're maybe not holding on to the football they're bracing,

(27:42):
so it can it can cause some crazy outcomes. And
maybe we'll see one in Chicago coming up Sunday, no.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Question about that. Also, remember that is rated as the
worst field, well maybe the New York New Jersey, but
like those two are probably the worst two. And and
that's under the best of conditions. Yeah, add the weather,
Add the fact that it'll be a concrete slab that
they're falling to. Winds projected somewhere in the teens. So

(28:14):
add that for the deep ball, which is you know
where Schdor's bread and butter is in all of this
as you as you went through all the names, though,
I got to do the one quick appreciation post for
Tennessee because it's been nothing but negative all year. Cam
Ward at least affected some change because that reporter got
kicked off the flight for reporting that little back and

(28:36):
forth where he was saying, hey, we yeah, wins great,
We still we still have a lot of work to do.
And for those that are unaware, teammate got on you know,
the the intercom. A reporter decided to put that out
in his reports for the week. So he's been kicked
off the charter. There you go. So so they at
least did something like grown ups in all of this process.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
I was gonna say boarding Group A for Southwest, but
I think they have signed seats now I haven't. I
haven't done it lately, but I think that's the case.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Oh, pretty soon, pretty soon. Has it gone into effect yet,
but very soon? Yeah, you will be actually getting an
assigned seat.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
For the Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
I'm always a window guy, so I would always do
the math if I was are on B fifteen, and
then I'd be like, wait, how many families are here?
Because they were between A and B that they weren't
accounted in my equation yet.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
If you have a family, kids are.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
Likely taking up the middle seats, so that yes, but
those days are going to be gone.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Well, and then they come walking up because they know
the drill, because you can't have the kids sitting at
the gate too long. And all of a sudden surprise,
there's like another five.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Fans command come on ding ding all right on the
Bears kick. I have them as a survivor play this week.
The ultimate top play though, is the forty nine ers,
and they are likely available. The Bears are probably available
to you as well, because you probably didn't think they
were going to go off the heater that they did,
and that at some point the bottom was going to
fall out, but it didn't and it almost stayed up

(30:08):
last week against Green Bay. But the Bears could be
an option, so could be the forty nine ers. Forty
nineers are your best option. I think that's where a
lot of you're going to see most of the entries
with the Titans coming to town. It's one of those
that you circle, You're like, Okay, if I can make
it to week fifteen, I'm taking the Niners against the Titans.
To this point, I did not make it to week fifteen,

(30:29):
so I unfortunately will not be able to make that pick.
As for the points of Palooza, I'm going to go
Ravens Bengals just for what they showed us a couple
of weeks ago. I know it's going to be cold there.
I think we could see some teams going up and
down the field. Mike, you had Derrick Henry as a
top five play and Jamar Chase as well. I think
Ravens Bengals with an over under of about forty nine

(30:50):
somewhere in that neighborhood so give me Ravens Bengals because
I can't do Lions Rams. That one's way off the charts.
And so we're going to go Raven's Bengals for the
points BLUSA.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Fifty four point five for the Lions and Rams. All right,
So guys, as we we finish up all of this
fun stuff, we'd be remiss. We you know, mentioned Philip
Rivers a couple of times. Danny's going up against your Seahawks. Man,
what are you expecting other than you know, like the

(31:20):
rocky prediction of pain.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
Yeah, I just like this is this, this defense really
can get after you. And I know that Philip Rivers
is smarter than the average quarterback. But you'd also have
to think that there's some rust, there's some report issues.
I would I don't want to say I think it's
going to be a long day because that would jinx
my Seahawks. But I just think it's a really, really
tough spot.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
I'm with you, Dan, we won't jink some but I'm
with you.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
I mean, but as an older man that you know,
Cress set in every extra day that he and and
like Aaron Rodgers was laughing about it going good, I'm
not the old guy anymore. Yeah, those kind of things.
Thirteen and a half points. The favorites are the Seahawks
and ballooned out in this game, Like, I want to
see one or two nice throws. One it'll shut up

(32:09):
some of the you know, some of the loudest nonsensical
takes that we've had in our business. Yes, because they
should have gone and grabbed the random guy off the
practice squad. Sure, I'm just like, it's a break glass
in case of emergence.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
I'll just wrap up by saying this.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
I'm mad that I can't cheer for him, like I
would have liked to root for him this week, but
unable to because it's against nineteen. Oh well, Ravens Bengals
over Under, by the way, was fifty one and a half.
It was the second one, So maybe I'm taking a
cop out. Maybe Giants Commanders could be fun as well.
My kid Tyrone Tracy as one of his ninja's as
well as Onondale Robinson, so we could see some points

(32:45):
in maybe a game that isn't as marquis as some
of the others. All Right, that's gonna do it for us.
In Week fifteen, Ian went five for five and making
the playoffs, so flees that way when we meet again.
And for Mike Carman and Ian Roddy, I'm Dan Bayer.
Best of luck in the playoffs. At the end of
your regular season, we'll talk to you on the other
side of Week fifteen here on I wander Flex
