Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies jumbles.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
You want experience during your football season, well buckle up,
sweet cheeks. What we've got all the experience in the world.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
This is I want your flex.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
With Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break
down everything you need to set your lineups, from position
rankings to starts and sits. The guys help you make
those hard decisions. And now let's get your flex ond
Here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon Week sixteen.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I want your flex one down, fifteen to go. He
is Mike Carmon. Hit him up at Swollendome. He can
find me at Dan Bayer on Fox in Our executive
producer is Ian Roddy. At Ian Roddy underscore good luck
other fifteen games to match what we had Thursday night
with an overtime thriller that had anybody who had pookin
aa Kua in the playoffs feeling pretty good about their

(00:56):
chances of advancing in the Fantasy postseason.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Mike, what an insane game. I know you still gotta
be on Cloud nine watching that that chaos as it unfolds.
You know, for those that do the right side wrong
side of a bet. The Rams were getting one and
a half points, So I guess you still won your bet,
So good on you there if you want that. But
just chaos, two point conversions, big second half JSN at

(01:23):
halftime I was watching on socials, just people losing their minds, like,
oh yeah, this guy's averaging twenty points a game and
this is what I'm getting in the finale and so yeah,
just insane and pukin Nakua. With the week that was Dan,
how many hours have we talked on Fox Sports Radio
Ian of what was going on with all the live
stream in the back and forth or whatever, and then

(01:46):
he comes out like a man possessed in the secondary.
No DeVante Adams, So it just changes up everything and
for fantasy purposes. I mean, you look at the day
Matthew Stafford ends up having he even gave you six
rushing yards. Bet you didn't think you see those come
out there.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
You knew that the game wasn't going to be a
carbon copy of the when the first time they played,
where the Seahawks actually had the upper hand statistically, but
it was the for Sam Darnold turnovers that ultimately did
them in. Now he had two of them last night
that almost did them in. However, the Rams were able
to answer even without DeVante Adams crazy two point conversion

(02:24):
that I feel a little dirty about. Like I've said,
that same end zone was also where the Phil Mary
ended up happening. It was in the back of the
end zone against the Packers. I know that that wasn't
a reception, that was an interception, but the Seahawks caught
a break there, and they caught a heck of a
break last night, by the letter of the law. I
feel dirty with it, but I think the payback is

(02:45):
that I went against Pooka again in all of these
fantasy leagues. So that's where it ends up evening out.
But oh well, Seahawks, Now, hey, couple of wins and
home field. But the funny thing is is they're so
good on the road that even the home field, where
you would like and you would like the buye isn't
necessarily like it was previously.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
And I think that the NFL has changed a bit
in that way too.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Guys, where the Seahawks in the home field, you thought,
Man's that's unbeatable with legion a boom, even when Holmegrin
back in the days they were you go to Seattle
and it's tough to play, but Mike McDonald's been better
on the road almost at home they dropped a couple
of two of the three losses were at home this year,
so we'll see. But it'd be good to get that
number one seed in the first round by but a

(03:28):
lot of football have to be played in two tough
games against the Panthers and forty nine Ers.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Yeah, I never feel dirty about taking a win. Succeed
and proceed. I love that Terry McCauley had to take
the Twitter immediately, right because we joked about it. Have
you ever seen the longest yard dan? Either I saw.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Or one?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah, Adama? Right, So that the last scene as he
goes and he just picks up the football as the
guy's got the gun locked on him the whole time,
and then he just spins it. That's what Charboney felt like.
It's like, I'm just gonna pick this thing up. Because
it was a clear recovery of the football, it becomes
the actionable play. McAuley's final line, let me make this

(04:08):
perfectly clear, whether a whistle is blown or not is
completely irrelevant, which flies in the face of everything we've
ever been taught for the other play, but in this
particular case, all the tinfoil hat folks got plenty of
content given the two a week. But yeah, and just
for fantasy purposes, I don't know how we match this game.

(04:28):
I mean, we talked about Kenneth Walker with a couple
of huge plays, what Nikua did, what JSN did. Both
quarterbacks gave you a huge fantasy games before it's all
said and done. Korum if you had to play him
in a flex, gave you that early touchdown, you got
Charbonne fines the end zone. Plus they give me two points, right,

(04:49):
which is much different than the Woody. People are like,
that's the Woody Mark's like, no, no, no, this is just
it's a fumble. Yeah, it's a humble recovery. So I
guess it's kind of the same. But but all in
here we are with one of the first times and
maybe the only time we'll ever see something that graazy.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I'll just make this point if people listen to me,
I said, you can't play Kenneth Walker, and I think
that last night was almost evidence of it. Of he
has a fifty five yard play and a forty six
yard reception that sets up a score for the Seahawks
and he only has fourteen touches on the night. Yeah, Like,
that's the frustrating part of it is Charbonnay is even

(05:28):
with him when it comes to carries. That's the frustrating part.
I have a guy in our other playoff matchup that
played the wrong Kenneth. He benched Walker and played Gainwell,
so he's got he went with Kenneth Gainwell this week
instead of Kenneth Walker.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
But that's the frustration.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
So well, I would guess that people are like, well,
I gotta play Kenneth Walker next week, But I don't
think there's a guarantee that you're going to see what
you got in this game, because he was great, he
was the difference maker and he still only got fourteen
touches in an overtime game.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Well, when you have eight minutes of possession in the first.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeah don't help. But even not a little bit more
on the second half. But still Yeah, those.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
Big breakaway runs are never a stable metric either. You
just can't back on that happening.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
With no week. But that's why you played Trevon Henderson, right,
Like that's like.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
With him, you kind of can back fields fair.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Enough, fair enough all right, let's get to the ray
gigs the top five quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers
of Week sixteen.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Mike take it away with the QBS.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Getting back to it using his legs. Jalen Hurts three
of the last four weeks running the football, thirty plus
rushing yards in those games, last four weeks ninth, averaging
about nineteen fantasy points per game. Yeah, there was one
dud in there, but you also had a thirty and
a twenty three to book end it. So let's go
against a bad Washington secondary giving up twenty points per game,

(06:44):
fifth worst, giving up two thirds, you know, at about
sixty seven percent completion rate, four touchdowns per pick, and
they're a minus twelve turnover differential. Philadelphia perhaps working some
short fields. Josh Allen going up against Cleveland back to
back waits for him again. The rushing yards starting to
pile up a little bit. Getting back to that, he's

(07:05):
fifty points better than the current number two, which is
Patrick Mahomes. So he had a good run. Cleveland fourth
best against quarterbacks. Something's gotta give. I'll take my backing
of Josh Allen. Brock Purty going up against the Indianapolis
eleventh at about eighteen fantasy points per game since his
return twenty six point two. Perty had last week Indianapolis

(07:30):
fifteen points per game, eighteen touchdowns allowed. This is one
where just the curiosity can the defense actually get after
Philip Rivers create some short fields you played field position
game and then get the strike. Jacoby Prisett makes a
top five appearance this week going up against Atlanto. He's
been consistent last four games eighteen point seven to twenty

(07:52):
one point six. There are no down games since he's
taken over, so we get that consistency, which, as we know, guys,
twenty twenty five is no sure thing. You go position
to position and you just watch this like you're monitoring
a heart rate beep or someone's on the polygraph with you.
Middling Atlanta defense twenty three touchdowns a lot, about seventeen

(08:14):
fantasy points per game. And then finally, Drake May he
is eighth nineteen point six. His last three starts seventeen
to twenty point five, twenty one point five. He's got
eight games of at least twenty fantasy points over the
course of the year. Opportunity year, Baltimore. They don't get
after the quarterback, which means he'll have time to throw downfield.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Drake Main the Patriots in a Sunday night flexed game
that was flexed into the Sunday night window from the Bengals,
a Dolphins game that was originally in that spot, and
brock Perty playing on Monday night. I like that Monday
night game Niners Colt's a little different. They obviously don't
play every year, so that should be fun on Monday,
and Philip Rivers will make it even more exciting. All right, Mike,
let's get to the top five running backs for Week sixteen.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
How about Bijon Robinson, one of those guys on those
pin all effects of what we're seeing. You know, you're
looking at his last six games. He's got three games
with twenty five or more points, three games at thirteen
or point seven or less, including two with fewer than
ten points. So a little bit of hand ringing and
wondering what we're going to see. But you're looking at
Arizona eighteen touchdowns allowed, fourth most fantasy points per game

(09:19):
and two thousand total yards, So making some hey in
the past game would be my expectation. CMC against Indianapolis
for what we chronicled a little bit with Purdy looking
for the second highest average over the course of the
year at twenty one point five points per game. Last
two have been Midlake just fifteen. But we've seen the consistency.
This is one of those we don't have a lot

(09:39):
of bottoming out when it comes to CMC Indianapolis tenth best,
giving up just one hundred and six total yards per
game and six touchdowns to running backs. But an opportunity here,
eh Chan look at his last big game really goes
back to Week ten, but over the last couple of weeks,

(10:00):
still top ten, top six actually, and going up against Cincinnati,
which do I need to really talk about this? I mean,
they've given up twenty five hundred yards and eighteen total
touchdowns to running backs at this point. Just give them
the ball and let them do the great things, because
then we don't have to think about Quinn yours and
all of that whole other subplot to this. Jamir Gibbs

(10:22):
at number four, and I do this with the all
right on again, off again, So this week he's supposed
to be huge, right, four point three, thirty six point seven,
seventeen point one, okay, cool? Forty nine point nine, ten
point one, thirty three point five, seven point eight, So
that means we're back to about a thirty point performance
this week against Pittsburgh, don't know, eleventh best about twenty

(10:44):
points per game to running backs. Only six touchdowns allowed
to running backs this year, and then we get Saquon
Barkley in. We've seen more of the Eagles run game
being activated, included Jalen Hurts as we talked about before.
Back to back solid week's eighteen point two to sixteen
point two two fantasy points. Still looking for another twenty
point games, still stuck at one and it's become a

(11:06):
really lonely number. But at Washington six most fantasy points
allowed sixteen touchdowns at over two thousand yards to opposing
running backs.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Some Saturday football from Saquon and the Eagles against the
Commanders and the Gibbs plays obviously Jamior Gibbs. Also, it's
a short week for the Steelers. They played on Monday
night against the Dolphins. I know it's not a long
trip to Detroit, but still it's a road game on
a short week, and yeah, I expect the Lions to
get after it offensively.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Will we see a Lion in a top five wide
receiver spot.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
You're about to find out, Mike, who are your top
five pass catches for the week.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Let's just jump right to it, shall we. How about
a little aman ross A Brown? Hey, maybe he'll be
joined by a teammate who knows. Season high thirty four
point nine week fifteen, tied for third over always got
four games over twenty Pittsburgh eleventh most generous on the year.
How about aj Brown thirty point week thirteen, thirteen and
eleven point one the last two eleventh on average, even

(12:06):
in what has been a wild year here in the
National Football League, Washington tenth most generous to opposing wide receivers,
eighth most receiving yards allowed. Let's get a little bit
of Nico Collins into the mix. Nineteen or better four
of his last six games, Las Vegas six, most fantasy
points per game allowed, fifth, most receptions, tied for fifth,

(12:28):
most tds allowed to opposing wideouts. So we'll get a
little bit of love in there. We'll go back in
Jamar Chase. He had nine for one thirty two last
week in a game that Joe Burrow was disinterested. At
least got him the football. So I guess that's a
win for us. It was his best week since Week seven,
Miami sixth best against wideout, so this is one of

(12:49):
those rubber meets the road. Did Joe Burrow read some
of the press clippings and realize that people were starting
to point fingers back at him about quitting on his
team after all of that work. I don't know. We'll
see if he downs the Colin goes Batman, but from
Miami fewest receiving yards allowed, tied for thirteenth, most tds,
So the yin and yang of it all. And then

(13:11):
on the back end, I flipped the coin, all right,
not really the figurative coin, and I want with Jamison
Williams based on what he's been doing. He had that
goose egg in week twelve, just the three targets, but
three games over twenty points of his last six, averaging
about twelve points per game overall for the year, and
again Pittsburgh just below the bottom ten in terms of

(13:35):
Fantasy points alive per game. I'm looking for Detroit to
roll up some points.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
There.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
They are your top five quarterbacks, running backs, and wide
receivers for Week sixteen. Ian's got a streaming defenses coming up.
Later on, I'll give you a points of Paloza. But
coming up next hop plays in cold source, guys that
should shouldn't make your lineup, that aren't in the rankings.
That's next year, and I want your flex. It is
I want your flex. He's Mike Harmon, I'm Dan. That

(14:00):
is Ian, Roddy Mike. Were your hot plays for week sixteen,
the guys that didn't make your top five rankings, but
you got to get into your lineup during playoff time.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I'll just say Detroit offense No. The golf against Pittsburgh
eighth most fantasy points allowed. You're looking at fourth most yards,
twenty three touchdowns. As far JJ McCarthy, how about a
rare appearance. Gotta push through. This is either in your
dollar daily fantasy or two quarterbacks or maybe you got
hit with the Patrick mahomes and didn't have a backup.

(14:29):
I know that happened a lot. Here's an opportunity. You
look at his last two weeks. He's been fantastic pushing
the ball down the field, and the Giants' second most
fantasy points allowed at about twenty one per game, twenty
four passing touchdowns allowed. So opportunity does not how about
Justin Herbert, who's been should we say middling would be

(14:50):
the kind way to say it for a fantasy purposes.
As much heart and guts and determination as you got,
but it's a date against Dallas, and if anything can
get you right, it's a day against Dallas. Twenty four
fantasy points per game, thirty one touchdowns allowed, including and
then add another seven rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks, so maybe
you get some guts he plays there. Aaron Rodgers against

(15:14):
Detroit twenty point five seventeen is last two. They're six
worst against quarterbacks, twenty seven touchdowns allowed, nearly twenty points
per game wide receivers didn't Reid because as of now,
I don't. I think he's the only guy that doesn't
have a red injury designation on the Packers, wondering about
his teammates, particularly Christian Watson, who actually had to be hospitalized,

(15:38):
which what they called quote dislocated ribs.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Oh it doesn't sound nice.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, So he's going to effort to play, take the
shot and whatever, but we'll see whether he's limited in
terms of his big playability. But Reid since coming back
nine catches on ten targets just eighty six yards getting
himself back and acclimated DK metcalf who look at him
all of a sudden, double digit Fantasy points three of
his last four eighteen point three and thirteen the last

(16:05):
two Detroit again second most or most yards, second most
tds to wideouts. Lad McConkey team him up with Herbert
still waiting for a return to that five week run
where he was fantastic. Twenty yards are few or three
of his last four, So this is a little bit
of a push because again Dallas being as SIV like
as they are in that back seven. How about Michael

(16:27):
Carter with an opportunity against Atlanta at eighteen touches, ninety
four total yards. Bam Knight also known as Zonovin. Sometimes
he shows up and people go, who's Zonoman Knight's like, no, no,
they just call him Bam thirteenth, most generous thirteen total
touchdowns allowed to running back by the Falcons Quin Shawn Judkins. Yeah,
looking for a bounce back from that one point seven.

(16:48):
He gave you double digits just two of his last six.
He's the definition of mid at RB nineteen but Buffalo
twenty six Fantasy points again against to running back two
thousand total yards and twenty touchdowns, hoping for a little
bit of opportunity. At Payder. We talked about Trevon Henderson
and the big playability tying Chris Johnson, I think for

(17:10):
most fifty plus yard touchdown runs in a season. He's
got a couple games to try to break it, going
against Baltimore eleventh, most generous, three top five finishes for
Henderson in the last five weeks, and of course you're
just looking for that lottery ticket big kind of like
people buying for the weekend, trying to hit their billion
dollars to go buy their island and disappear. Same thing

(17:32):
here in playoff week. And then Courtland Sutton going up
against Jacksonville second most receptions allowed just two touchdowns though,
so we will have the opportunity to move the football.
They're really good against the ground game. You look at Sutton,
He's had a pretty good run here the last couple
of weeks with eighteen receptions over his last three games.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
The funny thing with the Cardinals Falcons game is I
think we all knew coming into the season that maybe
James Connor would get thinged up. So to Trey Benson
in some leagues. Well then he was on IR just
like James Carter. Now Bam Knights on IR and Michael
Carter comes in thought to maybe be the third guy
after Benson was hurt.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
He wasn't it. It was then de Marcado, then it
was night.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Then it's back to de Marcado after the fumble, the
like and all of a sudden, Michael Carter is the play.
In Week sixteen, it's just pure chaos or the Arizona Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
All up and down and now all sorts of questions
swirling about what they do at quarterback and chaos chaos ensues.
But that running back position, Dan, Yeah, I mean we
talked about it in the preseason episode of all Right,
James Connor is a back end one, but you need
to come back early that he's gonna get hurt, so
decide on your handcuff or get your insurance. But I

(18:49):
don't think you could have thought you'd need a twenty
sided Dungeons and Dragons die to figure out who the
hell was running the football at the end of the year.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
I love that the whole season the Cardinals back the
deal has been like with that where it's just trying
to figure out who's gonna get the most touches. But
then the fact that it's the Cardinals run game, So
even if you guess right, there's no guarantee that they're
gonna be like that big of a hit for fantasy.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Yeah fair and I became their third running back on
our this year, like what? And I still, by the way,
I was happy when I'm like I got de Marcado
this week when he had that little stretch run about
a month ago where you're like, oh, look out now,
but we're back to the Michael Carter portion of the season.
All right, let's get to the cold soars, the guys
you don't want in your lineup four week sixteen.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Little big game hunting. You're probably gonna play him, but
maybe not. Lamar Jackson going against New England nineteenth. Over
the last four weeks, he had two games sub ten points,
a twenty two and a fifteen point six. Overall, just
sixteen points per game on the year, sixteen point four.
And that's exactly what New England allows per game this

(19:52):
year to opposing quarterbacks. So I don't expect some massive
breakthrough here. So if you're okay with a setate and
for get it. Here's my floor. The fact that you're
not getting the extra running love is really where the
problem is. He moved a little better last week, but
still not the lamar we're used to Baker Mayfield going
up against Carolina. He's getting his squad healthy, so maybe

(20:15):
that gives you a little bit of hope and love
with Mike Evans slamming his helmet against walls and such.
But you got a Carolina team's seventh best against opposing quarterbacks,
just seventeen touchdowns allowed this year, fourteen point five fantasy
points over the last couple of weeks. You got Baker.
He's sub fifteen almost every week. So the charmed finishes early,

(20:37):
not so much late. And how about Trevor Lawrence, who's
one of our darlings the last five six weeks. He's
got a tough match up here, going up against Denver.
We've watched Trevor between nineteen point four and forty four
point as over the last couple of weeks. We've had
him as a hot play, had him at a ninja
at the beginning, and now I have to give it,
wrap him in a big hug and say not. This

(20:58):
week are the Broncos against quarterbacks fewer than fourteen fantasy
points per game, just fourteen touchdowns allowed thus far. How
about the other side of that game, are j Harvey
going up against Jacksonville. Something that you definitely need to
call out here is we got what Anthony Camper Campanelli,
who's their defensive coordinator, doing a great job. They are

(21:20):
third best against running backs, nine total touchdowns, fewest rushing
yards all year allowed to opposing runners, So it said
no fly zone there. They'll have to find another way
to get the win. I put him in here because
as of now, he's scheduled to play and very touchdown
dependent becomes Josh Jacobs against the Bears only fifty five
percent of the snaps last week, and he looked really

(21:42):
good on that touchdown reception, something he hasn't done in
a long long time, ninety two total yards. But they
had to shoot up his knee again during the week
and he's trying to do pain management. So I would
expect we see more of Wilson and whoever else is
up for them at the running back position, unless it's
all just a huge ropidope. But the Bears are thirteenth
best against runners, just eleven touchdowns, it's seventeen hundred total

(22:05):
yards on the year wide receivers, right quick, Jalen Waddle, Yeah,
it might be chalk, but we've got to just call
it what it is. One touchdown is the last six games,
you got four straight with fifty two receiving yards or fewer,
no matter how bad Cincinnati is, I just can't go there.
Just go play Darren Waller and forget it. And then

(22:26):
Terry McLaurin going upgainst Philadelphia six to ten, one hundred
and ten yards and a touchdown in his games since
he returned Philadelphia's seventh best against opposing passers. I love
the fact that we're in week sixteen and it's like,
who's quarterbacking? Hey, they haven't announced it yet in some
of these games, not that one specifically, because Jayden Daniel's

(22:46):
obviously done for the year. We're back to Mariota. But
just the editorial of week sixteen, what do we have
fifty seven quarterbacks now or thereabouts? So let's see how
we can finish.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
We're creeping up towards that was it sixty seven sixty
eight we had a few years ago. Yeah, that for
that record. Still a couple of weeks to go. All right, Mike,
let's get the sneaky plays the Ninjas for Week sixteen.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Captain Kirk coming off that big game with Pitts last week,
Pitts all of a sudden, three straight double digit games
for him, by the way, So while he had the
huge blow up for fantasy purposes at the tight end position,
he was actually showing up a little bit for you there,
Drake Ludden, And looks like he's trending towards playing here,
and well, we know Arizona's d can be gotten. Twenty

(23:31):
three touchdowns allowed this year for Captain Kirk, a little
bit of an opportunity here. How about Tyler Shuck against
the Jets. We've talked about him last three games eighteen
point four twenty two and another eighteen Jets n most
fantasy points allowed, twenty five touchdowns Ian. Do they break
the streak this week? Do they get the Do they
get the pick? I'm just gonna say no. I mean

(23:53):
we've had we've had all season to get it. I
don't think it happens. Do they just not try? Do
they just drop one?

Speaker 5 (23:59):
They've been they've been trying so hard, like you can
just tell they want it so bad and it's just
not happening.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
Yet to not even just get like a Hail Mary
at the end of the half, like it's crazy.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
It really is harder.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
To not getting in.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
I thought, when I looked at the stats of my
second worst, maybe somebody's got like three and it was five.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
That's the difference.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Five would be the low point if it weren't for
the Jets and there's zero.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
Like people, I'm not sure people understand like how hard
it is to not get a single interception over the
an NFL season, Like it's hit.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Ball at the line that the fat guy catches, or
you know, like yesterday's second interception where he drops back
and it's.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
Like exactly exactly this is Those happen and every to
every team, but just not the Jets. So it's it's
funny at this point. But no, I don't think it
happens to the choir.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
There you go. I'm about Estima going up against the
Jets six touches fifty yards Week fifteen. He is the
guy with so many injuries to Neil Kamara, et cetera,
Jets third most fantasy points per game allowed, Bryce Young
going we can stamp by hang a star on Tampa's
fourth worst against quarterbacks. But McMillan's banged up, so we
have a little bit of a question there, right, and
the ankle and foot and everything else going on there,

(25:09):
But that doesn't keep me from putting Cocher up on
the list as well. Because of that, Tampa the eleventh
moth receiving yards allowed tenth most receptions. So Bryce Young
should have some opportunity to get him the ball. We
mentioned Kenneth Walker earlier, Dan, you mentioned Kenneth Gain Well,
how about we get him up in the lineup. Why
because fifteen plus touches three of the last five games.
In each of those games he went over one hundred

(25:31):
total yards. Is that wizardry? No, but a little bit
of worth in the passing game and maybe maybe just
a little bit of a jail break situation. To go
back to that Jets New Orleans game, See how fascinated
I am with it. How about Bryce Hall as a
hail Mary option for you here? He's been dismal, no
question about it, but New Orleans middling against opposing runners

(25:53):
quick wide. One more running back Tony Pollard as a
back to back top ten going up against kse Can
they do anything to Gardner Minshew in company, I don't know.
He'll usually give you one or two balls to run
back the other way, so perhaps you can work off
a short field. And then mac Allen's going up against
Baltimore's six most receptions allowed, ninth most yardage digs get

(26:17):
eliminated a little bit, so we look for a little
more mac hollins activity in the receiving coal.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
All right, we'll see if he shows up barefoot in Baltimore.
Those Ninja's gold soars and hot plays for week sixteen,
Ian's got some streaming defenses for you. Plus they got
a points of points of palooza and a Survivor bick
coming up next. It's all here on, I want your
flex all right, Mike Carmon could sit back and relaxes.
Ian Roddy now takes the wheel in giving us his

(26:45):
streaming defenses for week sixteen. Ian Its playoff time. Who
are we streaming this week?

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Okay, so let's start with the Kansas City Chiefs forty
one percent rostered. They're playing against cam Ward and the Titans.
As Mike alluded to earlier in the show. While Ward
has been a target for streaming defenses, all season. He's
actually starting to shake that moniker a little bit. The
last two weeks. He's had pretty good performances and the
defenses haven't been playing very well against him. The Niners

(27:12):
didn't get to him once last week, and that's part
of the impressive part of his comeback. But the Niners
haven't been able to sack anybody all season since they've
lost their pass rushers, so I'm not really viewing that
as much of a red flag when it comes to
starting the Chiefs, they actually have been able to get
to the quarterback this year. They got four on Justin
Herbert just last week and the loss, and I know
their offenses in shambles right now and Mahomes has done

(27:34):
for the year, but that defense is still worth streaming
in my mind. Next up the Minnesota Vikings forty seven
and a half percent rostered. All the attention lately has
been centered on their offense, but the Vikings defense has
actually been really good recently. Last week, they kept that
high powered Cowboys offense and check enough to pull off
the upset for streaming defenses. Wise, it wasn't a starter

(27:54):
worthy performance for the Vikings, but before that, they had
two straight weeks of good performances for the defense. They
shut out the Commanders and then before that they got
four sacks on Sam Darnold and the Seahawks, So this
has quietly been a really good defense. This week, they're
playing against Jackson Darton, the Giants who've lost eight games
in a row coming into this week. Dart actually hasn't

(28:15):
taken more than two sacks in any of those eight
straight losses. But this Vikings pass rush has a good
chance to break that streak. I think they've been good
enough recently, and then lastly the Tennessee Titans ten and
a half percent rostered. So same game, going back to
that Chiefs game, they are playing against the Chiefs who
are starting Gardner Minshew at quarterback. Minshew stepped in last

(28:36):
week when Mahomes went down with his injury and only
took him five pass attempts to throw his first interceptions.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
So, like you said, to break that seal, maybe come on, Like.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
You said, Mike, there's gonna be passes He's thrown up
for grabs there, and I think the Titans are gonna
have their chances. Minshe's obviously one of the higher end
backups in the league with that being said, but the
last time we saw him as a starter was just
last year for the Raiders, where he threw nine touchdowns
to ten interceptions, So this he's very prone to turnovers.
This Chiefs offense is obviously better than what the Raiders

(29:05):
were trotting out last year, but it's not like they've
really been good at any point this year, and that
was with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, So I don't know.
I'm now expecting a demoralized version of that already underwhelming offense.
So I'm pretty comfortable starting the Titans.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Defense here as a streaming option. Thirty eight the total
in that one, guess, yeah, So there you go.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
There that works for you. That would not qualify for
all points of palooza for me. The Lions Steelers is
the big one at fifty two and a half at
last check, there's a bunch of forty seven and a
half's out there, a bunch of forty eight and a
half's out there. I'm grabbing one of the forty eight
and a halfs. I'm going Falcons, Cardinals, let's just throw
it around, have some fun. Maybe Kirk Cousins goes back

(29:46):
to the glory days and with Drake London coming back
two of Mike's Ninja's and cousins in London, I think
we're going to see some points and why not. Those
defenses really haven't been able to stop anyone. So I'm
going Falcons and Cardinals survivor guys. Even though I was
eliminated in Week fourteen, I had a plan laid out
to get to the end and the Buccaneers ruined it

(30:08):
for me by being knocked out by the Saints. But
I felt if I could get through week fifteen, week
fifteen and sixteen would be pretty easy. So once I
lost in Week fourteen, I was devastated because I had
the Niners last week against the Titans that worked out.
Texans against the Raiders is the pick this week. It's

(30:29):
for the remaining survivor entries. The Texans probably are available.
There wasn't a time unless you picked them at home
against Tennessee earlier on in the season where the Texans
really stood out.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
They're hot right now.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
Even though Gino Smith is coming back for the Raiders,
I still like the Texans in that spot. The other
close one would be a team that I thought I
made hay with earlier. I took the Saints earlier in
the year to beat the Giants, and they did. But
the Saints with the Jets, now, I think that's the
other side that you're going to see a lot of.
So Houston in New Orleans, two teams from the South.

(31:02):
Are your survivor picks for this week?

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Like that? Houston fourteen point favorite, thirty eight the total,
and Gino's saying he wants to get a lot of
wins for the Raiders. And then we get Brady Cook
against Tyler Shuck. So let's let's let's roll it up.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
Well, let's come on now, six and a half over
under is forty and a half. But if the Saints,
you know, four and ten, you start winning a few
more games, all of a sudden, you're picking a lot
further back to the draft that New Orleans may want
to slow their role a little bit.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
It's all about Tyler Shuck. It's the Shuck era. Yeah,
all right, let me give you one last line, guys.
Way in we talked about it. Ian you referenced it
in your streaming defense. Is forty nine or six point
favorites on the road Monday Night Football against Indianapolis forty
six and a half the total Philip Rivers seventeen point
five completions, one hundred and sixty two passing yards go.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
One hundred and sixty two passing yards over I think
is going to be this weekend.

Speaker 5 (31:59):
I'm going to take the two. Could just get the
forty nine ers don't have any pass rush and that's
really the weakness with It's indoors.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
Yeah, it's indoors as well.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
So what was the other line.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Mike, seventeen and a half completions?

Speaker 3 (32:11):
Oh, I think for dump offs. Yeah, I'm going over.
I'm taking the overs on both.

Speaker 5 (32:16):
See, if you want.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
One hundred and sixty two yards, you have to go
over the compete.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (32:21):
That's kind of where I'm conflicted there because I actually
think they're gonna be running the ball a lot. So
maybe I actually take the under on both.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Yeah, you would really need to scheme up a lot
of yak to get to that one sixty two.

Speaker 5 (32:30):
Yeah, I'm gonna take the under on both. That's a
good point.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
I'm gonna take the over on both.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
I'm gonna go over, and I'm gonna celebrate it. And
when we get together on Monday night, that's a game
we'll probably talk about for three minutes.

Speaker 4 (32:42):
Yeah, it could be fun.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Could decide some fantasy matchups with CMC and Jonathan Taylor
in that Monday night affair.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
All right.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
So there it is your Week sixteen primer for next
week with the Christmas holiday. Will be with you earlier
in the week with our recap of Week sixteen. We'll
also take a look at some of the Christmas Day
games that we've got because there's the triple header, and
then we'll have a ranking show later on for it
in the week as well. So for Ian Roddie are
executive producer and Mike Harmon. I'm Dan Byer. Have a

(33:13):
great weekend. We'll talk to you next time and I
want your flex
