Speaker 1 (00:00):

to ten pm Eastern four to seven Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio. Find your local station for The Odd Couple
at Fox Sports Radio dot com, or stream us live
every day on the iHeartRadio app by searching f s R.

(00:24):
Give this Party starts. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.
All yeah, it is the d Couple. I'm Chris blue

(00:46):
fard of our side, my partner Rob Parker, and we're
coming to you live from the Fox Sports Radio studios.
Good live, and we have got a great, I mean
great three hours for you. So keeping locked right here
on Fox Sports Radio, the iHeartRadio app or Serious XM

(01:10):
channel eighty three, however you may be listening. All right,
we got a lot of NFL actions still to get into,
but we also have plenty of NBA is that's heating up,
and the obviously the NFL is done and so we're
gonna have a lot of fun today. We got e

(01:30):
from Salim, former NFL offensive line in our colleague. Here.
Fox Sports Radio will join us at the bottom of
the hour. Let me welcome in my partner Rob Parker,
what's up, Bra? Finally a colleague I want to hear from.
How are you doing Christophers? Yeah, you've been out in
the streets mad at you today on a trash talking Tuesday.

(01:53):
I'm good. Yes, let me guess, do you trash talked? No?
It was it was Major League Baseball and the Players
Association because tomorrow was supposed to be the day pitchers
and catchers showed up to Florida and Arizona. So my
panties are in a bunch. I'm not happy. We still

(02:15):
got to March first, and we could start the season
on time. That would give him a month of worth
the spring training. But I'm I'm bummed. I'm bummed at
both sides. This contract expired Chris on midnight December first,
and here we are February fifteen and no deal. I'm
just thinking, I know we got spoiled, and I don't
want to go on a rant. We had twenty eight

(02:36):
years of labor piece Chris, which we never had in baseball.
You know, they always had strikes and lockouts. Baseball's always
because because it's they have a strong union. The other
leagues don't go through this because the other players don't
fight well. The NBA, though, has had you know, yeah,
and the NFL hasn't had one for like a gazillion
years because they remember the strike in eighty seven. Chris,

(02:58):
I covered that. But anyway, my point is they got
to come to something pretty soon. I'm still hopeful we
get all one sixty two in. But that's why I tried. Wow, Okay, okay,
well we will. I don't have time for anybody else,
all right, I'm just seeing you all out in these streets, man,
in these Twitter streets and all that, so I don't

(03:19):
know what's going on, Parker. All right. We got the CD.
I don't need to do all that. I had a
glizzy in my mouth. We got the Eye Couple crew
in full effect. Super producer Rob g is in the house,
our man DJ Alex Tight Shirt a k A. Alex

(03:41):
of Vegan and Guys. And on the heights, our man
Steve this Sager. All right, Rob, let's get right into it.
James Harden and Ben Simmons had their INTERET introductory press
conferences in their new cities, Hardening, brook I'm sorry, Hardening, Philadelphia,

(04:03):
Ben Simmons in Brooklyn. What was your takeaway? Let's start
with Harden. What would your takeaway from U do, Rob,
you you're gonna play any sounds, Let's sayre's some sound
from Harden and then Rob take it away. Here's hardened.
For the most part, we can control our own destiny.
Nothing that I said it's a good thing or a
bad thing. But for me, it just it made sense. Man.
It's a time where I needed to be around the

(04:25):
guys that I know that want to win, are willing
to do whatever it takes to win. It's the uncertainty
around Kyrie situation this year. Did that play a part
in how things developed from the past couple of months
for you? Very minimal, honestly, Like, obviously me and kyr
are really good friends. Uh, you know, whatever he was
going through, it's still going through. That's his personal preference.

(04:46):
But it definitely did impact the team because originally, you know, obviously,
meet Kyrie and Katie on the court and winning covers
up a lot of that stuff. But it was unfortunate
that you know, we played sixteen games out of whatever
it was and it is what it is, all right, Rob, Yeah,
I mean it's official for me after listening to him

(05:08):
and just another move by James Harden it's official. NBA America.
James Harden is a fraud and this should not be shocked.
Why this guy hasn't won yet despite his enormous talent.
He runs, he hides, he doesn't produce when games are big,

(05:32):
and worst of all, this guy has played with a
plethora of great players in the National Basketball Association. He
had Durant and Westbrook and OKAC. He had Dwight Howard
and CP three and Russ in Houston, Durant and Kyrie

(05:52):
in Brooklyn, and now he's going to embid. You can't
keep hiding, you can't keep running, You can't keep using
other people and situations as excuses. James Harden, is this on?
It's you. You're the reason why you haven't been able

(06:12):
to win and could wind up in a career where
you don't win. And I would take Charles Barkley not
winning any day over you, because you continue to do
the same thing over and over. It would be one
thing if you were tremendous in the postseason, but it

(06:33):
just hasn't been the case. James. Before last year when
he played with the Nets Hurt, he was averaging twenty
three point eight points shooting thirty eight percent twenty five
percent from three in his last six elimination games. Chris,
that's no good. That's not superstar level, James Harden. His

(06:57):
first two postseasons with the Rockets ended in first round exits,
and while he averaged twenty six points in no series, Chris,
he didn't hit forty percent shooting in either one. Let's
go to twenty fifteen, when they lost in the series
to the Warriors, Harden shot a woeful two four eleven

(07:18):
shooting a single game playoff record, he established twelve turnovers
in a game five clinching lass. Two years later, series
clinching loss to the Spurs. Remember San Antonio thrashed the
Rockets by thirty nine points, and Houston's leading man, Mister
James Harden, contributed ten points, seven assists, six ugly turnovers

(07:44):
while once againting shooting two four eleven from the field.
When it's all set and done, James Harden, people will
realize you you were the problem, and you know what,
they can retire your jersey into strip clubs. That's cool.
You can keep that long beard and be Santa Claus

(08:06):
if you want. But the bottom line will be that
they can make a statue of you, and in one
hand will be a suitcase for you, moving from place
to place, forcing your way out, and then the other
hand will be empty because there will be no NBA
Finals trophy for you. Mister James Harden. Wow, talk about

(08:28):
coming out of the box with fire. I commend you
Rob Parker on a very strong take, and I gotta
be honest. I can't refute it. I can't. I mean,
I'm sorry, and I at Rob. I have defended James

(08:50):
Harden a long time, can't do it anymore. Chris can't
do it. When people say this game is ugly, they
don't like watching it, I was like, nah, I actually
like it. I think it's genius. A guy that's not
incredibly fast, incredibly quick, incredibly athletic, but his handle is
so nice, his moves are so nice that you still

(09:12):
can't guard him. You can be all up in his face,
You're longer than him, you're taller than him, you're quicker
than him, and he still can get his shot off
over you or go around like I've defended this dude.
I thought Steph's Curry's first MVP in twenty fifteen should
have belonged to James Harten and I voted for him,
but like you said, Rob, I can't defend this. And

(09:35):
again I hate to sound like the old man, get
off my lawn, but Rob, when we grew up, the
saying was when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
Not pack saying is when the going gets tough. Ball

(09:57):
that's this, that's it. Bill, Get out dodge while you can.
My goodness, I'd hate to be in the foxhold with
some of these cats. I'm sorry, Jameson you couldn't get
along with Kevin Durant. I mean we can. You can
criticize Durant for Twitter, for his burner accounts, for his

(10:18):
leg yeah right, like Ashley legs all that. I don't
know where what I don't don't get that whatever though right,
I don't think he's the greatest leader. He's never proven
he can lead a team. To Jeff, you can criticize
him for all that, but basketball wise, Kevin Durant has

(10:39):
got to be robbed one of the easiest superstars to
ever play with. Ever, He's easier to play with them, Lebron,
he would have been easier to play with than Jordan's
easier to play with the Isaiah Like I mean because
he don't need the ball a lot to get his thirty.

(11:02):
We saw it in Golden State. It was right. He
dropped him right in no issues because all he wants
to do is catch it, put it in the hole.
That's it. He don't need a lot of dribbles. He
don't need to dominate the ball. He's gonna get you thirty.
And you couldn't get along with that, and it looked

(11:22):
shame on you and I. We know we're not defending Kyrie.
I mean, do what he wants is his right, but
we're not defending him not playing half the season because
he's not anti VAXs, but he won't get vaccinated. We're
not defending that. But that's on you, Harden, for letting

(11:43):
Kyrie's status send you into the sucking place. Right, you
still got Kevin Durant. If you're that guy like we
said you are for a decade, then you and kd
LaMarcus Aldrich and Joe Harris and Blake Grant all the

(12:04):
rest of the guys you got. You should look at
that like that's enough. That's why Rob and I still
picked him to win the championship when the Kyrie was out.
All you need is two in the NBA two stars
and a good sure if you're that talented, three is
a luxury. Two is grade. We saw Anthony Davids and

(12:26):
Lebron James win right with those two guys stopping. You
don't need three guys, sod you don't want to play
with him exactly? Come on, man, that's what I'm with you,
and that I don't think James aren't gonna win the
championship day him and embiad aren't gonna win it in
beads great Harden. Now is he as good as he

(12:48):
used to be? We'll see he hasn't been this year,
and God forbid that inbad doesn't gets hurt Chris and
Ryan I'll quickly belled out of Philadelphia. Absolutely absolutely. And
we gave him a pass on Houston because they were
going in a different direction. Okay, I mean you still
didn't have to quit on them the way you did,

(13:08):
but okay, but to do it to Brooklyn when you
got a chance to win a championship, emy, go like
a man and say, look, I'm out of here. I
don't you know, Kyrie, I didn't sign up for this.
I didn't think he was. I thought he was gonna play.
I went out but to just suck. I used to
do that when I was seven. Rob, you know, I'm

(13:28):
mad at my mother because she's saying something to me,
punished me, wouldn't let me do this or that, not suck.
I'm gonna make her, man, I'm gonna teach her. She's
gonna see. I'm not gonna say nothing to do. I'm
not gonna smile. I'm gonna give it a treatment. I'm
gonna get right. Come on, man, you're better than that.
James Harden and I'm with you. I don't think they're
gonna win the championship that maybe let's see improve us wrong.

(13:53):
He's got to prove it now because he's had too
many superstar teammates, Robin too many. I mean, it's unbelievable
the less most of those guys are either on the
best seventy five lists. Chris or should be on there,
just about all of mar I mean, Westbrook, KD but

(14:13):
Dwight and that, but I could both of those actually
can make it right. Dwhite should definitely should. Kyrie don't
make an argument for if Damian Lillard on there, Kylee
Ree could be on there. I'm sorry, I agree, and
so come on, Harden, like I just he gonna have
to prove it. You don't get the benefit of the
doubt anymore. It seems like there's some forty two that's

(14:36):
lacking some resilience, some perseverance, because you know this is
this is a bad look and I think they're gonna
find out until they're gonna be good. But it's not
about being good. They gotta win the championship. And so
that's the task championship or bust period for James Harden

(14:57):
and the Philadelphia seventy six Ers seven seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven, seven, nine, nine, six sixty three
sixty nine. Rob Parker says James Harden is a fraud.
Do you agree? You'll turn away with The Eye Couple
of Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to catch live editions
of The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker
weekdays at seven pm Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox

it is the A couple Chris and Rob on its
heights Your Tuesday, a trash Talk Tuesday, and we're live

(16:05):

(16:26):
It's your battery solution and America's number one battery destination.
Eighty seven seven ninety nine on Fox, Rob says James
Harden is a fraud. You agree, you'll turn away in
all right, let's kick it off with Tim and Ontario, California.
You're on the odd couple, Fox Sports Radio. What up,
Tim Couple? What's up? Guys? Man? It's good man. What's

(16:53):
more entertaining right now? Watching this divorce drama or the
Kim Games divorce drama? Kanye what he's Kanye Kim Kanye dramas?
I mean, both of them full of drama? Are you
right about that? And you know, and the connection is

(17:13):
you have people that are just into themselves and not
about Hey, how what about my relationship? What about the
people around me that I need to support? Like basketball
is about it used to be about hey, let me
get the best out of my teammates. And James Harden
is Unfortunately he shows his colors right now. He's a fraud.
It's always a been Hey, what's the easiest thing for

(17:34):
me to accomplish? And it's not about Hey, Katie's my boy.
I can't just leave him like this. It was never
about that, And that's why he's a boy in an
All Star break that's what because nobody wanted him. He's
not even I mean he said today that he feels great.
I mean, there was apparently real, legitimate swelling on the hamstring.

(17:55):
So I guess I get it. You're you're being careful.
You gotta keep him healthy, but it seems like he
could play. It seems like crazy. Thanks to him for
the call. How about Leonard in Reno, Nevada. You're on
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio? What up Leonard?
You know with up Chris? You know with up Rob Parker.

(18:15):
I've been wanting to say that forever. I love you guys.
Can I give you first some style? Yeah? I like it? Well,
real quick, real quick. I want to give a real
quick before you guys let me off, I want to
give a real quick shout out to my the loquacious one,
Ryan Finley. I missed him yesterday. I've always wanted to

(18:37):
say that as well. Okay, all right, okay, okay, okay,
now let's get onto this Game's hard you guys, You
guys way too hard on him. I love you guys,
but you guys too hard on him? Now? What's wrong
with the person wanting to leave this function? Okay? He
was a large Let me let me tell you. Let

(18:57):
me tell you, Huston, is this fun? That's why he
got out of there. Uh um um Brooklyn. Yeah, it
started out cool, but come on, you guys know that
it is dysfunction too. That ain't no real coach over
there for a change. James Harden wanted to go to
a real coach, a real team. Jay L m Beat
is a real player, okay. Kevin Duran, yeah that that

(19:23):
come on, play stop stop, come on. Can't even get
Dwight Howard and his prime wasn't a real player exactly.
And oh yeah, let me say it. And I'm not
trying to say that Steve Nash is the greatest coach ever,
but Doc rivers track record the last a few years,
Chris has not been good. That's just right. Okay, he
won a championship and we respect that, but let's not

(19:45):
make it like, uh he went to the greatest coach
and yet has been struggling later exactly. All right, Mark
in Sacramento, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What up? Mark? What's going on? Gentlemen? Was that guy?
And Chris told you? I never take my eyes off
the NBA. I've been watching the Cleveland Cavaliers. Want to
throw that out there. The addition of Rondo and Cavis

(20:07):
Laverte really going to help them along with the teaching
those big dudes. Yeah yeah, and well, Mark, I need
a win tonight. So I just said the Cavaliers, I
need a Checko city, and I stay out of I
stay out of Shakil City. You like keeping your money
in your pots? Right? Yeah, I heard about the shackle city. Yeah,

(20:29):
real quick, I think I think both of them are
froude in my opinion. Um, of course, James, James hard
fraud man. Who's the other one with Kyrie? He's a
part too. He's a frog too. In my opinion, he's
been a fraud for a while. He you know. To me, now,
I understand you guys have a love poem because he
played in Brooklyn, New York City. But let me say this,

(20:52):
not just against the war Go look at his numbers
against the Warriors when they played in those finals and
making one of the biggest shots in the NBA. You
could say whatever you want about Kywee and he criticizing
him as a player. What I'm doing. But what I'm doing?
But may Rob, may I Rob? Just real quick, I

(21:17):
think that there was a little bit more to the
him and Lebron thing, and he had to get out
of Cleveland. He wanted his own team. Then he gets
to a team. Then he goes to the young kids
who said we went to the Eastern Conference finals. Who
got to He splp that locker room and said, get Joe,
you know what out of here. Then he comes here
and nothing's been the same. He's and the first thing
he says when he gets there is that, And so
the coach and says, yeah, I think we can coach ourselves.

(21:39):
This dude is a proud to This dude's about himself
and I'm not used a great ball player. But that's
not the issue here. He's got another issue. He didn't
go to work lass year. And then he uses the
his beliefs about the shot not to go to work
this year. The dude don't go to work. He listed
he didn't go to work in Boston. Come on, man,
call it like it is now now you look, you

(22:02):
can't defend I mean, three weeks off for god knows what.
I can't defend that. Yeah. The only thing I'm gonna
say is, uh, Kyrie, today isn't the story. And I'm
not being mean to you, but we're talking about the
two press conferences that happen and the two new players.
We've had these conversations about Kyrie, so I don't I

(22:24):
just you know, if you want a time to James Harden,
that's fine, But I think what we're trying to get
at is James Harden again, is the one on the
move with all these great players. Okay, all right, we
got our man from Salon coming up next. But first,
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox Sports

(22:45):
Radio dot com and within the iHeart Radio app. Search
f SR to listen live. All right, thank you, Steve.
We're live from the Foxports Radio studios. Our next guest
former offensive lineman in the NFL Now or Fox Sports Radio.
We can host from the Bay Areas. You can tell
from miss theme music. Blow to whistle too short. I'm

(23:07):
gonna blow the whistle because my man deserves some applause
and some congratulations for the debut last week of his
new show that he's a writer for The Fresh Prince
of bel Air, Eve from Congratulations, and I gotta be honest, man,

(23:27):
like I'm looking at the the previews. I haven't seen
it yet, but it looks tremendous. It looks it is tremendous. Man,
And I don't know why you haven't watched the first
three episodes yet, like the rest of the world, is
it three? Well? When when did it? When did it start?
It dropped on Super Bowl Sunday right after again one
reason why and all and all three episodes, the first

(23:51):
three episodes are available, and then every Thursday another episode
is dropping. Oh man, it looks great. I only think
is y'all. I don't know if this was the case
in the Fresh Prince the original, but I saw y'all
made Uncle Phil and alpha because I saw the stepping.
You should have made him a Kappa because the stepping

(24:12):
would have been better. You know what. The Kappas didn't
want it, didn't They didn't They didn't want to do it.
That's true. Yeah, Oh okay, all right, but y'all back
up off Leshall came thus first, so I'm with that.
All right, all right, let's go, let's get to it.
There's a lot of football to get you in a
short amount of time. What's your take on the Kyler

(24:34):
Murray situation? Uh, it's a lot of immaturity there. I
mean you, first of all, this whole notion of unfollowing
the team and dude, I mean that you we got
to grow up. Okay, this is that's not your girlfriend. Okay,
that's not your the girl you like or the girl
you you met on in the DMS or not like, Like,

(24:55):
let's not do that, all right, let's not minimize you
being the face of a friend. Chide that as you
under contract for at least two more years to what
you would do with some girl you met who you
don't want to mess with no more. I think that's
the first problem, right, That whole unfollowed with you where
you're going. You know you're gonna be on the team
next year. What was happening? So you got to take

(25:17):
a more mature approach to being a professional. That's the whole.
That's my part. My dad when things weren't going right
with me early in my career, he was like, son,
don't worry about that. You are professional, show up to work,
do what you're supposed to do. Get better. You can't
control when and how long you can play, but you

(25:38):
can control what you do when you do play. Well,
if let's stay there. I think that's a great point,
and let's expand it because we were just talking about
James Harden Ben Simmons, I feel like today whereas when
we were coming up, it was when the going gets tough,
the tough get going. And now it's almost feels like
when the going gets tough, bail like that's the that's

(26:00):
the mantra. And do you is it just us or
do you think we are seeing that more? And I'm
not even gonna put this on Lebron like the player empowerment,
because Lebron always played out his contract. He never like
caused Havoc salked left during a demand of the trade
under contract. He played out his contract and when he

(26:20):
was a free agent, he did what he wanted to do.
But now it seems like it's just too much of
this almost quitting. Yeah, I can't. As someone who was
a professionally for a long time and I knew exactly
what it took to be available for my teammates, I
knew exactly what it what they needed from me and
what I was supposed to bring to the table. I

(26:41):
can't stomach the fact that a guy wouldn't show up
to play, a guy would come in out of shape. Yeah,
to me, it's a privilege to be a professional athlete.
Less than zero point one percent of the world's population
can be professional athletes. So when you get to that level,
there is a certain duty and responsibility you have not

(27:01):
only to your the franchise, but to your teammates. That's
why you have so much discourse in the locker room, right.
Could you imagine being the seventy sixers and and you
Joel and beat and you're doing everything you're supposed to do,
and and Bevin Simmons like, I'm I don't day talking
about me bad? All right? You were James Hardened, right,
and you they brought you there, they wanted to be

(27:23):
with you, and then now you don't want to be
here like that would drive me crazy. And it's just
a sense of entitlement that it's really getting in the
way of of of of for us the fans to
watch the right type of product on the court right
from uh Matthew Stafford and the Rams. They when the
Super Bowl, Stafford gets it done surprises me for sure.

(27:46):
But now I think we've gone a little uh looney
because now we get all this crazy uh MVP, I
mean Hall of Fame talk. And I don't know if
you saw Richard Sherman's tweet, which talked about that the
bar is incredibly low. Now if we're saying that Matthew
Stafford is a Hall of Famer, and he just said,

(28:08):
is it a participation trophy? Now? He's not on the
All Decade team. No, he's not an All Pro, no MVP,
one Pro Bowl, not even the MVP of the Super Bowl,
and never considered the best player any year. And he said,
at least matt Ryan has an MVP. Where are you?
We had Greg Jennings on yesterday he claimed that he

(28:30):
at first when when we asked him, he said he
thought he was a Hall of Famer and then he
kind of couched it. Where are you on Stafford and
the Hall of Fame? Well, I think he has some
work to do, all right. This is the first time
we got an opportunity to see Matthew Stafford with an
actual front office, a head coach stables, a stable head
coach situation, and an abundance of talent around him. He's

(28:53):
been in a black hole for twelve years in Detroit.
I played I'm sorry, Rob, but I played in Detroit
for a year and I know that to me, it
didn't even seem like the NFL. So Matthew Stafford, I
was there his rookie year. He can make every throw.
He's led the league in fourth quarter comeback since he's
been in the league, because that's what they had to
do in Detroit. So we can take another four or

(29:16):
five six years of him playing at this level, then
of course he's gonna be in that conversation. Can you
expound from I agree with you. I think he's this
MC be the first step. He's still He's been four
five high level years where the Rams are in contention,
and his numbers are great. I think he's got a
good argument at that point. But tell us you said Detroit,

(29:37):
it was almost like you weren't in the NFL, said
this before you, before you go there. You were there
one year. I was there twenty years, and I could
not disagree. I know it's not a great organization, but
I saw I saw good teams. Jim Cardwell coach there.
I just beg to differ when you say why why

(29:58):
isn't he still the coach there? This is what I'm
talking about. I'm not taking one offer. I'm not doing
one of them. I want to hear like you were
in the locker room you were in new or like,
tell us what you mean, Like what why? I was
there with Dominic Raiola, I was there with Jeff Backs.
Those guys have been lifers there. They've been there the
whole their whole careers, and they had zero idea of

(30:23):
what the NFL had to offer, because you don't really
get to get the full gambit of being a professional
athlete unless you're winning in the city embraces you and
you can say what you want. Rob, I was at
those games looking around. I mean, they have a fight song.
When Detroit scores, this man comes on with a hardheat
and the Teddy Bear and sings a fight song. I

(30:45):
thought I was in like bizarre world. I didn't know
what was going. I'm like, it's just what is happening.
He's on the JumboTron, He's singing with the Teddy Bear.
Tell me I'm lying, Rob. It just didn't feel like
any of the previous four tea I played four, so
that's what I mean. But it doesn't feel like I
was there in twenty fourteen when they were eleven and

(31:07):
five and they had the fifth best defense in the league,
and they went to Dallas and they lost the game.
And Stafford had a chance to drive them down and winning,
they didn't. I mean, I saw those years, and there
were a couple others. He made the playoffs three times,
he could never win a division. It was time they
had the last game of the year against Green Bay.
He always lost. I'm just saying, I get it. I'm

(31:28):
not defending one playoff win in fifth since nineteen fifty seven.
But I cannot blame everybody else and say Stafford had
nothing to do with it. That's all right, and it
goes beyond Matthew Stafford. What I'm talking about is name
another franchise that had two of the greatest players to
ever play retire early because they just didn't want to
be there anymore. Yeah. I don't know if that way up. Yeah,

(31:51):
but but do you know that the whole Barry Sanders
story is not that he didn't want to be there
was financial It was other stories that go with that.
Calvin Johnson, I think I don't think his heart was
ever all the way in on football. He was a
baseball player. I don't think he always wanted to play. No,
he did want to play, and he loved playing, But
when you put that much into it, right, when two

(32:13):
thousand plus yards receiving, when you put that much into
it and then it's just like an that takes it
out of you. Man, that takes it out of you.
All right, that's our man, Eve from Salim. Great stuff
is always brother. We appreciate you absolutely, all right. Sheckel
City is next. Keep it like a couple of Fox

the I couple. I'm Chris, he's robbed. We're live from
the Fox Sports Radio studios and it is time for
Skyl City. Welcome to Shekel City, the whole base for

(33:03):
Rob Parker's day Dicks against the Spread. All right, Checkyl
City not yet sponsored by Caesar Sports Book, but it's coming,
especially with the way I'm rolling these days. Super Bowl
Sunday two and old, and now yesterday Checkel City went

(33:27):
three and old. Yesterday I had the Nets, the Wizards
and Bulls. They all won five and oh the last
two days. So here we go trying to get to
eight no on Sheckyl City. Hope you're on board if
you follow me on social media. Tonight, I got the

(33:47):
Grizzlies minus four and a half at the Pelicans, no
John Moranto, so I still think the Grizzlies can get
it done. He was a game time eleven and two
without John. Yeah, that's why I'm like that afraid. And
it's only four and a half, Chris, it ain't like eight, right,
Celtics minus two at the seventy six ers. They're off
to a good start so far in uh in Philly,

(34:10):
and I have the Calves plus one at the Hawks.
The Calves are playing well. There we go. So we
have Grizzlies minus four and a half, Celtics minus two,
Calves plus one, Shekel City going for eight. And oh
and remember I'm not telling you who to bet on.

(34:30):
I'm just telling you who I bet on. And Chris,
I have been making money and feeling good. Nah Man,
I'm happy for you. Um whatever floats your boat, you
know what I'm saying. So you make a little coin. Um,
it's either you floor mats to go with your Louisvasion seats?

(34:53):
Is that? What's what's next? On the next next is
a new car? How are you doing with the shopping?
No shopping, right, yep, I'm doing good. You haven't bought
anything since No you don't. I see that little grin
grin on your face. No, no, no, no no. But
now you just mentioned buying a new car. Wouldn't that
qualify as shopping? No, that's next year. Oh what kind

(35:16):
are you gonna get? Tell us all? No, I don't know.
Let us say Rod Parker's word. No here a few week,
few things you're thinking. The only thing I'm thinking is
a two seed convertible. That's it. I want to enjoy
the sunshine. I want to do something. Wow. Okay, now
you're gonna keep your car now, so you have two
or not. I'm gonna get rid of it. And then

(35:38):
after this next three years of this convertible, then I'll
go back and I'll probably buy the range Rover because
you know I love the range Rover. Right, but I
want to try. Did you lease your last car? Okay?
So you're leasing? Okay, so that's you see what I'm saying.
So I'll do another three years. I bought it. You know,
I bought a new car. I don't know, six eight

(36:00):
months ago something like that. I didn't think people could
afford to buy Bentley cash but yeah, right, not me. Um,
but I'm gonna tell you this, Rob, And I don't
know if you're doing this now, but I'm I'm thinking.
I was thinking, you know what, I might start leasing,
just you know, because every three years I might want

(36:20):
a new car, you know, like that fresh, but that's year.
That's that's my thinking. And that's the reason. As much
as I love the Range Rover, and you know I
love that car, I don't want to I don't want
to lease another one. I'd like to try something else.
That was this your first lease in a while or least,
or maybe i've been, but you've been doing that a

(36:42):
few times. Yeah, because I wanted to because you get
different cars which I could I could roll with that.
So all right, well right we look forward to uh
seeing what that is. It's less than a year now,
so it's I'm starting to you know, in six months,
I'll start shopping around. But then, if you guys to
have any suggestions on a two seat convertible, I'd love

(37:05):
to see pictures on on you know, Instagram or on Twitter.
Hit me up two seat convertible. All right, Look, that's
Louis Vaton. I can't imagine it must be good to
be Rob Parker. My goodness, my goodness, who has eight jobs?

(37:25):
I mean, you live in rent free in people's heads.
Some people you live in you know what I'm talking about.
You living rent free in some people's heads. That's a
good look, man. Right there, they have a radio show
or not. Yeah, they got a radio show on this station.
It is the Eye Gou from Chris Bruce or Rob Parker.

(37:48):
You know what to do. Keep it locked right here
on Fox Sports Radio, the iHeartRadio app or Serious XM
Channel eighty three, however you may be listening. We got
two hours left. Is a rash Talking Tuesday. You've been
a call in the third hour trash anyone anything in
the world of sports. Keep it locked Fox Sports Radio.
