R party. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. All right,
it is the Odd Couple and we are gearing up
for our number two right here on Fox Sports Radio,
the iHeartRadio app or Sirius XM Chunnel eighty three. However
(00:43):
you may be listening, keep it locked. We got trolling
and rolling with Martin White at the bottom of the hour.
But until then there is plenty to get into, including
your voices. We want to hear them as always, and
you'll be able to call in and about twenty minut
and talk to us about this next topic, which is
(01:06):
mister James Harden. All right, Philadelphia Loop looking good so
far starting off the playoffs two and old over a
tough Toronto Raptors team in the four or five matchup.
Now the Raptors don't have their super rookie. My vote
(01:28):
for Rookie of the year. Scottie Barnes, he got her. Yep, yep,
we got a lot of Scottie Pippin an him, Rob, playmaker, defender,
long athletic, can't really shoot it that well, he's got
to work on that, but he's got pretty much everything else.
But he's out. So that definitely hurts the Raptors. And
(01:48):
Philadelphia's up on them two old and they've won both
games by double digits. But before Sixers fans celebrate too much,
and you know Sixers fans, Rob, they aren't yet celebrating
too much because they're looking at James Harden. Yeah, Tyrese Maxie,
(02:08):
my vote for most improved Player won't win that. He
wasn't even a finalist. I don't know how that happened,
but so you voted and he wasn't even in there.
He wasn't even in the top three. Neither was Jordan Poole.
Wow too absolutely, So you know there were a lot
of guys Dejon Ta Murray, John Moran is on the
in the finalists. Rob, I don't know, I mean, did
(02:28):
he improve, sure, but we knew he was route right,
It's like okay, um, so we'll see. But anyway, Rob,
James Harden, who is supposed to be their second guy. Right, yeah,
there's if not the first. I mean before the season,
(02:50):
there are some people that might have said James Harden
was better than Joel Embiid. You know, Embiad obviously can
do some things as a big but Harden has been
an absolute bona fide superstar for the past decade and
he's supposed to at least be the second guy, if
not number one or number one. B all right, but
(03:12):
in this series, Rob, he hasn't played very well. He's
shooting thirty four percent from the floor. He's averaging his
numbers look good. Eighteen points and ten assists. He get numbers,
but last night he had five turnovers. He had fourteen
points on three of nine shooting. And what I want
(03:35):
to throw out to you, Rob, because let's just keep
it real, it's finals or bust. I could say championship
or bust, but I think if the Sixers just get
to the finals, you can now that's a step, that's
a heck of a step. But it's finals or bust
for the Sixers. Not to mention, James Harden wants a
(03:56):
quarter billion dollars contract extension after this season, so Rob,
Is this the James Hard and can they put it
this way? Can Philadelphia get to the finals with this
version of James Hart? Not this version? The old version
I think is what we're looking for, but not this one.
(04:19):
I don't know. Chris, It's it's very weird and we've
seen it now. For you saw it in Brooklyn. You
pointed it out early. Okay, you just didn't like the
way he was playing. You were like, excuse me, you
were like, the numbers are you know, for a lot
of every lot of everyday players, they would love to
have those numbers, but they're not James Hard numbers. Playing
(04:40):
it simple. And as time has gone on, remember you
had the five game outburst Chris to start to scent
tenure in Philadelphia and Brand and Raven. People were like, oh,
oh my goodness, what what do they have? They have
a dynamic, They might have the best. You remember the
story was they're the best duosan Shaq and Kobe after
(05:02):
five games, I mean like pump the brakes. It was
five games, Chris, and then Kyrie came to town. Yes,
and then it has been the same since. But I
know he has to be more dynamic. James hardened and
I don't know. I mean, I think they're doing it.
(05:26):
And you give him credit there at home Toronto. You
know he had a good season, Chris, I'm not trying
to bash Toronto, but if you ask me going into
this series who should win, I'm picking Philadelphia. I just
picked them with some hesitation because I thought, you know,
Toronto has had a great season, as you said, and Philly,
(05:49):
you know, they didn't look great down the stretch. I
know they won some games, but Hardened wasn't robbed Hardened.
This is not just a blip. This is a trend
in April. Check this out. In five games in April,
Rob James Harden averaged sixteen points on thirty six percent
shooting twenty seven percent from three. Now he was dropping
dimes thirteen assists a game, but thirty six percent shooting.
(06:14):
So here's where I'm at on Harden, Rob, I don't
he hasn't been the same since the hamstring injury. What
happened in the first minute of the playoffs last year
against Milwaukee? What was it thirty eight seconds? I was, yeah,
it was it was early. And he hasn't been the
same since. He just hasn't. And he hasn't looked as explosive.
(06:41):
He isn't able to blow by, and now he never
was Michael Jordan athletically, but he could get by a
guy had a quick first step. He could finish. And
I get it. They've they've changed the way they're calling
the foules and that's hurt him a bit. But still
he also finished, right, He also could finish, and he
(07:04):
doesn't seem to have the same finishing ability or the
same quick first step could have beat somebody. Let me
give you some numbers. Okay, in the twenty one game
with the six Ers after the deadline, right, he's averaged
twenty one points, ten and a half assists, and seven
point one rebounds. That sounds good, right, But he's shot
(07:28):
forty point two percent from the floor and thirty two
point six from deep, so the shooting is off. The
numbers look good. Twenty one, ten and a half and seven.
You take that, most guys would well and Rob he's
thirty two years old. It'll be thirty three in August.
This is his thirteenth season. A lot of people you know,
(07:54):
would say, oh, he's got plenty of time because because
you see Lebron and you see Chris Paul and all
these other guys. But thirteen full seasons, that's a career.
I mean, if if James Harden is indeed falling off, Rob,
he's already had a full career. No, you don't get that.
(08:16):
And Chris, he lives a different lifestyle. I don't want that,
pare you go. I don't know his personal life, but
from the outside, you know, looking in, he's looking out
there on social right, That's what I'm saying. From the
stuff that I'm just looking at, He's enjoying life and
living a young man's life who single and free and
got a pocket full of money. I'm not mad at him.
(08:39):
That catches up to you at some point, Rob. That's
sports budget, you know what I'm saying. Alan Iverson lived
a life like that and play with fourteen years. This
was about the length of his career, and we know
he could have continued on as a role player off
the bench had he wanted to. He didn't want to,
(08:59):
and I'm with that, But this is about the time
he started losing it. And granted he was smaller than Hardened,
but still Rob. James Harden's played nine hundred and forty
two career games, I guess how many Isaiah Time has
played in his career nine hundred nine seventy nine. Wow,
(09:22):
guess how many Larry Bird played. Larry Bird played, I'm
gonna say less, eight seventy nine, eight ninety seven. So
Harden's already had a longer career than Larry Bird Magic.
Now we we understand Magics was cut short by the HIV,
(09:44):
but Magic played nine hundred and six games. Rob My point, Ye,
My point is that James Harden has had a full career.
Alan Iverson robed nine hundred and fourteen games. James Hardens
had a full career. If in and I'm not saying
definitively he is not, he just slowed down and he'll
(10:05):
never get it back. But if that's the case, and
that's looking like it right now, because this has been
a year of very good basketball, but not James Harden's standards.
If indeed he's losing it, this has happened to some
of the other all time greades too. And Rob, here's
(10:26):
what I say about Harden Philly fans, if you're listening,
if you're out there, all hope is not lost. James
Harden is skilled enough, great enough to adapt you've heard
me say he is one of the few players in
NBA history who is both an all time scorer and
(10:50):
an all time playmaker. If I'm Philadelphia, I got Joe
LMB to give me thirty. I got Tyrese Maxie to
get me on average between eighteen and twenty two. I
got to Buyas Harris to give me eighteen ish. I
(11:11):
can live. I believe you might disagree. I believe I
totally disagreed. ITAs Hard named Wooden without the offensive. How
you didn't hear what I even said? Ahead, I'm sorry.
I believe that James Harden as a playmaker given Philly
twenty and twelve efficiently. That's the key, Not twenty and
(11:36):
twelve and forty percent shooting, but twenty and twelve on
close to fifty percent shooting. Maybe he can't do that,
He's never come close to that, but he's always shot
a lot more. But if he can give me twelve
and twenty and twelve on forty seven forty eight percent
shooting and be a great playmaker, don't dribble the air
(12:00):
of the ball before you make a move. Be more decisive,
Be quicker with the ball, get it moving, Be decisive
with your moves. You know, you made up your mind
you're going you're driving and throwing the live didn't do it,
You're made up your mind you're driving and kicking it out.
Then do it. Don't dribble for ten seconds and have
everybody standing around watching you before you make your move.
(12:22):
If he does that, and he can, then I think
Philly could be an elite team this year. Robbed and
threatened in the East. I just think you need him
to be James Harden in order to win when you
match up against some of the other duos and other players.
And the other players, Chris, I hear you. They're lowercase.
(12:45):
They're not real number twos, they're lowercase. And I think
that's where I mean. You're hoping to Bias Harris and
those guys deliver what you're asking for. But you need
a James Harden, you need you need him to be
the player. He was a closer to the player he
was in Houston. I believe. I think that. Yeah, on
(13:06):
their best nights, Chris Maxie and Tobias Harris, Yeah, and
their best nights, but they don't have best nights every night.
And that's the problem. See I think, well, I'm not
saying they're gonna be better than Harden. I'm saying they might,
or at least Maxie might score more than Harden. Harden
can be the number two averaging twenty and twelve, you know,
(13:30):
I mean Magic's numbers were alway nineteen and eleven. I
believe for his career, like nineteen and twelve something like that.
I mean, they That's my point is I think they
have enough scoring that if Harden can be efficient. Okay,
but you know, because remember Rob when he went to
Brooklyn and we were raving about him, he wasn't Heah,
(13:52):
he was giving you a twenty four night, but he
wasn't to James Harden of Houston. But he was so
such a great playmaker. And Rob last year, guess what
he shot in Brooklyn? Forty seven percent? That James, he
was twenty four eleven, twenty four and eleven on forty
seven percent shooting. I could live with that, Rob. Oh yeah,
(14:13):
I could live with that too. So maybe move it
up a little twenty three twenty four. But he's not
even doing that now, and it's taking him, you know,
all he can muster on bad shooting to get his
twenty one points in Philly so eight seven, seven ninety
nine on Fox eight seven, seven, nine nine six sixty
three sixty nine, We're throwing it out to you. Can
(14:37):
the Philadelphia seventy six ers win an NBA title or
even just the East with this version of James Harden

seven ninety nine on Fox? Can the Sixers win it
all or even the East with this version of James Harden?
All right, Chris, let's kick it off with Thomas in Victorville, California.
You're on the Odd Couple, Fox Sports Radio. What up
Thomas to speak you guys? First time, long time? Thank
(16:31):
you by hey, thanks for calling. Man. Listen, you guys
have been taken hardened from beginning to end talking about
his numbers a comparative to all star players from the past.
But I gotta tell you there's one number we're not
talking about. You ready, yep, we're a ready very rings
(16:54):
thirteen gets from the league with all that talent being
surrounded by other be a professional. We have mentioned that,
We have mentioned that that he's played with when it's
all said and done, like ten or twelve great players, Right, Chris,
we count about he's playing with time, play with everybody
like just about other than Lebron and stuff, Right, Kyrie
(17:21):
Durant twice. What I think what you're saying though, is
he Are you saying even at his best, he ain't good?
You're not winning a championship with him. I'm saying exactly that,
because when you think about it, you're talking about players
like Magic and Isaiah. The difference in those players is
kind of elemental. They raised the level of player amongst
(17:42):
their team. And don't get me wrong, having hardened on
your roster, I mean the race is the level I
guess of of something on your team. It just ain't
raising your chances to get to a to a ring.
I could be wrong. What do you think? Look when
the trade was made, I don't think you're crazy. When
the trade was made, Rob, you know I said it.
(18:02):
I said, Philadelphia is now winning the ring with James Harden.
I've you know, after those first five games, I was like,
all right, second, your guts for like five minutes, right,
But I'm trying to give him the benefit of doubt
and give him another shot. But let me do I
think Philly's coming out of East this year? No? So
(18:24):
maybe there it is. No, I don't think they're coming
out of East, even with James Harden playing well. Rob,
I gotta see Rob. Let me put it this way,
if James Harden was averaging thirty and ten in this
series on fifty percent shooting, I still would have questions
because it's not that he hasn't had any good playoff games.
(18:44):
It's what's he doing in game six, game seven? You
know what I'm saying? What I want to see? You
haven't seen yet of him producing and coming through? Mark
in Ohio, you're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Traded.
What up? Mark? Hey, guys, how are you doing good?
I'm listener, first time caller man. Thank you, um Man.
(19:06):
I just want to say, you got the great um.
You guys the reason why my six year old son
wants to be a journalist. Wow, um, thank you for that. Yes, Um.
But with Harden, I agree with the with the live caller, Um,
He's played with so many great players, he just don't
have that that dog in. You know, he's a great player.
(19:28):
He's great, but come playoff time, he always ends up,
just disappears every It's tough to win a championship man,
no doubt. And Mark Mark, I mean it's hard for
us to argue that these stats prove it out that
he hasn't been able to come through and and and
(19:50):
at certain moments. And doesn't mean that he'll never come through,
but to this point he hasn't been able to do it.
H Angel, absolutely thank you for it. I wouldn't right
right Angel in Stockton, California. You're on the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What Up? Angel? And five couple?
(20:11):
How what's up? Man? Second time caller, first time I
called with Crash Tuesdays and decided to take a break
on Parker this week. Uh, don't trash for me this week. Okay,
yes sir, yes, sir, But I'm James Harden. You know,
you guys think he hasn't been the same as a
hand string. I honestly think he hasn't been the same
for like the last three years. He hasn't finished the
(20:33):
full season with a squad. He hasn't been able to
finish a full season with the squad. You know, I
just think him spending up seasons between squads. He just
feels like you're in a h in a room with
a bad roommate. You know, you can't build up a locker,
you can't build up any chemistry with your squad or anything.
And I think the whole rule changes. He hasn't been
(20:54):
able to get into the free through a line as well.
He's just as he used to be. He used to
be just automatic from the three point one, and like
from to eighteen nineteen, he was just that step back.
You know, people just feared that he was just able top,
that heasy fake people while and just jump into him
and get to the free throw line. He just can't
do that anymore. And like you said, every sin is
the hands thring. He just I think he's gotta love
(21:16):
the beard. I don't think he's same. He just gotta
lose the beard going nowhere? Are you kidding? That's you
know what trademark and rob I've always said this, Mike
D'Antoni elevates your numbers if you're like a downhill point guard,
ball handler, Hell, Steve Nash, Jeremy Lynn ray Felt, and
(21:37):
I know those aren't great players outside of Nash, but
look at their careers. They when they played for Mike D'Antoni,
even if it was kind of brief, they played way
above what they'd ever done. And James Harden, who was
great with Kevin McHale's coach, great before he got D'Antoni,
but he was numbered through the year. And so I
(21:58):
think that's could be a part of it as well.
And that's probably why Rob. If they go out before
they get to the finals, uh, Doc could be gone
and they'll probably bring in Mike d'An tony. Wow, that's
the thought. All right. We will get into trolling or
rolling with Martin White's next, but first be sure to
catch live editions of The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard
and Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern, four pm
(22:22):
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeart Radio app
Tom Brady. He's done, Aaron Rodgers did not have a
Pro Bowl season. Trying to get it's trolling or rolling,
that's right, rolling, I'm Martin White and just in cases
(22:43):
is the first term you've heard this. I'll bring it
down for you real quick. If Rob and Chris liked
the story that I read you hear the roll they
see me, and if they don't, you hear the troll s.
Oh man, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey hey, I'll further
ado do Sana Francisco. Forty nine Ers made big noise.
This time last year, we having a ton of basket
(23:06):
to get to the the draft to get quarterback trade. Well,
this time this year, it looks like the forty nine
is might still be starting last year's quarterbacks. Jimmy Garoppolo
are rolling. The forty nine ers are wasting trade lance
if they don't trade Jimmy Jesus offseason. Who's you want me?
(23:29):
Or Rob First? You've been breaking up? Great? Yeah, we
got bad. Go ahead, you trolling, We're gonna have to okay, Um,
I am so trolling and rolling that they're wasting trade
lance if they don't trade. Yes, I'm trolling that. Oh man, hey, hey,
(23:49):
look hey, they drafted trade lance. They thought he was
their future and he still may yet be that. But
the goal is not to prove yourselves right. The goals
to win, and this team is built to win now.
And you can win. Look, we know you can at
least get to a super Bowl with Jimmy g If
Trey Lance isn't ready, then by all means play Jimmy G.
(24:14):
He's only got one year left on his deal. Trey
Lance will be forced in the plan next year. It
wouldn't kill him to learn again. I get it you
want to put him in there, but if he ain't ready,
you don't throw away the season just to prove you
didn't make a mistake in the draft. So I give
Trade every chance to start. But if he can't take it,
(24:34):
then Jimmy G can starting. You You got a high
ceiling with him. Yeah, I'm trolling it. I agree with
Chris oh Man. Hey, hey, Chris, Aaron Rodgers sat for
three years. I don't think they stumped his growth. I
just did it. Thank I don't. I don't think so.
And the other thing is, you went to the NFC
Championship game. You didn't just go to the playoffs. You
(24:56):
went to the NFC Championship game and you're let in
the second half in that game. Let's just be honest. Okay,
didn't work out. But if you don't believe, and you've
watched Trey Lance and you really don't believe he can
get you to where you just got, you can't play him.
I'm sorry you can't play. I don't care where you're
drafted him right, troll roon a couple of Fox Sports
(25:20):
Radio multiple time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy go
Berrow was on the court, but Janalen Brunskli still scored
forty one points to tiler. Series between the Mavericks and
the Jazz, Luca Donsons may not play in Game three
or four, but Chris trolling or rolling the Mavericks could
beat the Jazz without Luca. I you know what, I'm
(25:42):
not gonna I'm gonna troll that. Oh man, hey, hey,
I think that in a seven game series without Luca,
I think the Jazz win. The Jazz are a bad
road team. They're the fourth worst team on the road
in the playoffs. That's fourth out of sixteen or twelve
out of sixteen. So they gotta split. Which So you're Jazz, right,
(26:06):
if you're the Jazz, you're not feeling great because Luca
could come back. But if Luca's not back, you're feeling
good with a split. And so, yeah, I troll that
they need Luca to beat the Jazz. I'm trolling it
as well. Oh man, hey, hey, hey, did you think
you're gonna get performances like Brunson like every night without Luca, Chris,
good luck? Did he might as well be Luca? You
(26:29):
know what I mean, right, I mean you don't need Luca.
Don't bring him back. I mean, come on, and and
you're right about the jazz. They did what they had
to do, which was split on the road and go home.
And I do believe they'll uh that. There's no way
that Dallas can win without Luca Troller rolling odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio. Now, Minor League baseball is implemented
(26:52):
a pitch clock, and apparently it shades over twenty minutes
after the game, but sporting that stayed about the same.
The success of this new technology and the major I
mean the minors rather, is set in the stage for
Major League Baseball to adopt the same rule in twenty
twenty three. Chris trolling or rolling a Major League Baseball
(27:14):
pitch clock. Oh you know, I'm rolling with that. They
see me. You know, I'm all about the new technology
when it comes to America's pastime. Bring it on and
don't stop there. I won't go into it. Barrob knows
what I'm talking about. Yeah, I'm down with the pitch
count clock all the way live. I'm trolling it. Ah,
(27:37):
here we go. Oh man, hey, hey, hey. What they
didn't tell you Chris and Martin is that minor league
games don't have all that games on TV and commercials.
So unless Major League Baseball is cutting those out, Chris,
game used to go shorter in the old days because
every game wasn't on TV. Then what every Mets game.
(27:58):
When I grew up as a kid, I was lucky
to see seventy eighty ninety games a year. You didn't
see one sixty two. A big part of why the
games are longer, it's because they're trying to put four
minutes worth the commercials between every break. You want to
limit you Dommer, it would shorten you. I hear you,
But you know short games that are I really I'm
(28:21):
telling you it has more to do with the television
and the commercials. Chris. If you if you told picture
to come out and throw three four warm ups and
no infield, round the horn with the infield, none of that,
cut that out and get right to it in two
minutes again, you would be shorter. Is that where You're
(28:41):
I'm just saying, right, are you advocating. I don't advocate
that they get rid of the you know, infield warm ups,
and I'm saying that's the way that you got just
to Wick. Yeah what the guys need to be in
the flow. But yeah, I hear you. You're absolutely right
on the commercials. But that's not going anywhere because that's
growing up in Cincinnati. It was a big deal for
(29:04):
game was on a Saturday afternoon. Game was awesome. I
get all that, but I just think it would help
a little bit and every little, every little step I take.
Bobby Brown, that was good. You picked that up. All right,
that's our man. Martin White's trolling the rolling great stuff, brother, Martin.
(29:29):
All right, Uh it is the Akhama, Rob. I didn't
ask you this well, we haven't even pumped it. It's
a trash talking Tuesday, Yes, sir, the right hour. An
hour from now, you'll be able to call in trash
anyone anything in the world of sports, even the Eye
Couple if yeah, so, desire. I don't know why you would,
but um, Rob, who did you trash today on danspin
(29:49):
dot com? You know what? I trashed to New York
Metropolitans and this time I stayed away seven and three.
I know, but I stayed away from the Jackie Robin Senagle, Chris,
and I just trashed him because Tom Sieber deserved his
own day. I think they botched a great day. That statue, Chris,
beautiful outside the city. It's one of the best wings.
(30:11):
You know, it really is, and it really captured Tom Sieber.
If you ever watched him pitch his knee, right knee
would always have dirt on it, Chris, because it would
touch them ound. He would get that low and they
have his knee almost touching the ground in that uh statue,
which is beautiful, But they botched it. He should have
had his own day. Yeah, all right, I'm with you
(30:34):
because we talked about that last week and it was
more about Jackson. But I'm just saying, yeah, saved it. Okay,
that's cool, all right. It is the odd couple. Kyrie Irving.
We knew it was coming and it came. He got
fine for his uh folly to use a wall Frasier
word shout out to class. All he was saying was
(30:55):
that Brooklyn was number one twice. That's it. We'll get
it in that next A couple of Fox Sports Radio
be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Chris Brussar then Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeart Radio app. Man, I almost want to drop a
(31:19):
hot sixteen. You know what I'm saying, DJ Alex Tischer's
give him how far off a hot tip me? Don't
tip me? Uh uh uh yo, don't tip the brother.
I was close. Let me control myself. I got a
five book show. Can you calm down with you're living
(31:42):
your altar ego? You still want to be just no
no alter ego, no alter ego. All right, we're price this.

(32:25):
we knew Rob Kyrie was getting fined and deservedly, so,
whether you support his right to give the fans as
much as he was getting, whatever the case, you can't
just be flipping off fans. It's just not a good
look for the league. So he got fined fifty thousand dollars. Rob,
(32:47):
that's fine. I think you know, you find him and
move on. We don't have to make a huge deal
out of it unless it just continues. It don't need
to continue. But what are your thoughts on this? You
you you support that, you're fair foul? What? Yeah, I
mean it sounds fair. I mean, I'm sure they're within
(33:07):
their guidelines. You can't have players doing it. It's just
a it's just it's a bad look, Chris. You got
kids watching the game, you got you know, like like,
that's not what you want to portray as a league.
It just isn't. I know, at the end of the world,
it's not the worst thing you know that could happen.
But but uh, you can't. You just can't. You gotta
(33:30):
you gotta try to get players to understand that you
don't just represent yourself, Chris. When you wear that uniform,
there's an NBA logo on it, it's it's bigger than
you really is, Like there's a certain thing. That's why
Kareem was saying the lebron with the with the heavy
sack kind of walk. You remember that, like you don't,
that's beneath him. Come on, man, bigger than that. You're you're, you're,
(33:54):
you're better than that. Like and it's this is not
to say the fans are it's okay for them to
do that, but they're only representing themselves for them, Like,
it's just you're you're a professional, and we get it.
It might not be fair, but hey, it is what
it is. And and you know, nobody lives in a vacuum, nobody.
(34:16):
We all have to deal with each other. We all
have to deal with each other in one way or
the other. When when you go out or I go out.
You represent Fox Sports Radio every day twenty four to seven.
You go somewhere and make a scene or do something,
it's not just Chris Boussard individually. It ain't right right absolutely,
That's why Ry Parker, much to his dismay, will do
(34:41):
g rated comedy. That's right. I would be I would
be so blue, I would be a smurf if I
was doing a comedy that I wanted nothing else. I
believe it too. I believe it. I believe. But we're
gonna get great comedy out of Ryde Parker. Nonetheless, that's right,
we got comedy coming reversed. I think, yeah, you're ready.
(35:05):
I'm I'm getting ready. I'm I'm I'm getting ready. It'll
be the same thing. Alex will do it at am
five to seventy hear lost, Alex have to doctor it up. Laugh, laugh.
I'm sure that they'll be doing it over there as well.
Graphics and you know, heck, even even different jokes, you know, fate,
you know, taking something from some unknown comedian and putting
(35:28):
it in Roy Parker's voice and Chris you got it?
Sound like there's some jokes you keep going and said,
did you come up with that by yourself? I remember one?
I remember one? That was it? What was it yesterday?
The catch? Why wasn't was that? Even? I don't think
that was a joke, but that was a nice line.
Love that line. Put ketchup on it and ate it
or whatever. You want a contract, they gotta put point
(35:50):
ketch up on it and eat it. Yeah, I like that.
When that was good. That's the only one I remember
though the rest of your stuff, Oh, chocolate chips is good.
That was not bad. That's still don't think you did
the dick, Tracy Joe. I still think. I still think.
I h that I came up with that. Don't don't
say that on the air, But I Chris, that is
(36:11):
an original. I came up with that. I swear to Chris.
Rob told me that this invoice for this new stand
up I'm gonna have to edit is going to the
King Movement and also MLB bro. Yes, I will take that.
I will take. It's on it's official. It's on the record, Rob,
It's on the record. No, but Kyrie Rob, they're gonna
(36:33):
have to um. He's worth it, though, Chris, you know,
let let me just get cut to that. She's certainly
worth the fifty grand. Yeah, it's if you're the nets.
You just put up with him because he's so talented.
You know that he's so talented. If he wasn't as
talented as he is, sometimes you would just go, let's
just go somewhere else. We can get somebody else to
do that. The problem is you can't get just anybody
(36:55):
to do what he does. You can't. Well, I'll give
you that the dude is awesome. I mean, it's just
we's he's incredible. But also Rob, what makes him, what
makes the Nets put up with it, is that Kevin
Durant loves him. And I think if they lost Kevin Durant, Rob,
(37:19):
I mean, I'm sorry, if they lost Kyrie Irvy, like
if they let him walk in free agency or traded
him or something, I don't know that they'd be able
to keep Kevin Durant. And you know he signed long term.
But you know that don't mean anything. The players chat
them out. I want out and forced his way out
Once somebody doesn't want to be there, there's nothing else
(37:39):
you really can do. But look, Kyrie is phenomenal. But
just with the And that's the thing, Rob, Like, we
know it's not just the vaccination, right or or I mean, heck,
let's just keep it real. We were talking, we were
focused all year on the vaccination, but we said, look,
(38:02):
before that it was stuff. It was taking a week
long hiatus just because just a world event bothered you
and had you out of sorts. Now it's the finger
and the fans, you know, giving the fans the finger
and all that. Like it's just it's just one thing
after another. And I always say it, Rob, The only
player that can stop Kyrie Irving is Kyrie Irving. That's it.
(38:26):
No one else can stop him. Marcus Smart, Defensive Player
of the Year. Ain't got nothing for him. Keep it locked.
