R party. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. All right,
it is The I Couple, Chris and Robb. Last hour
of the show, when we are coming to you live
from the Geico Fox Sports Radio studios. Fifteen minutes could
save you fifteen percent or more on your car insurance.

(00:43):
Visit Geico dot com for a free raid quote. I
start off the show talking about how look I told folks,
I told folks, Yes, Belichick's a great coach, but the
ian's share of the credit for the dynasty goes to

(01:05):
Tom Brady getting pushed back left and right, and not
just from Rob Parker. But now, and I know it's
still only halfway through the season if that, but Tom
Brady is showing you why he's the goal At forty three, folks,

(01:28):
at forty three, he is lighting things up. Eighteen touchdowns,
four interceptions. Buccaneers are five and two, and you had
to watch the game to appreciate the touch he's putting
on the football. I'm just being honest as a fan
of the game. He threw some passes Scottie Miller, Rob Gronkowski,

(01:53):
Tyler Johnson in the end zone that we're just I mean,
perfectly placed and Rob and I and I want to
be serious, What is your take? I know you you
know you're not gonna give him too much credit? But
what's your take? One? Why I ask them so? Why
I asked me? Then? Well I want so if you

(02:17):
you just asked me, you said so, I'm not gonna
be you gonna repeat me to say what I said.
I said, You're not gonna give him too much credit?
But what do you make of what you're seeing? I've
seen them beat up on also rans their records one
and two? Is the better teams? Yep, that's the one
when they have Yeah, they're also rans? Uh, how they

(02:41):
I mean Denver of the Panthers. All these teams are
at five, three and two until they had three and
because they just lost it. Yeah. But but but the
Raiders too. I mean, I'm just saying I haven't been
that impressed we'll see as time goes on, we'll see
I know I'll wear I know I'll have a pair

(03:01):
of Jordan's when it's all over. Because they're not gonna
get to the super Bowl out of the NFC. I
just know that. And we'll see how Howard progresses and
Howard moves along, how uh Antonio Brown being a part
of that team, how there's a lot of it can
be chaotic or I just I think Tom Brady is
desperate to prove that he is more than just uh.

(03:25):
You know, this guy will fit into Bill Belichick. So
he's trying to stack the deck for himself, load up
whatever he can do to try to win. And I
get it. He knows his time is running out to
do that, right And no, but but he not. If
he won six super Bowls, you shouldn't have to prove anything.
I didn't have to prove anything. Yes he does. No,
that's where you're wrong. That's that's where you're wrong. It's

(03:50):
not everybody except who. There's plenty of other people. You
get me realized, No, I'm not. I'm talking about you
can't football fans in general. I don't walk and give anyone.
I have a life. Every Sea. All I know is
TV or the radio. A former player, a current player,
they call him to go. I'm just not everybody's not

(04:12):
to see one guy on TV say he's not to go.
Not everybody believes he's the goat. They understand what's happening.
They understand about that's cool, and Jenny could say it,
Max Kellerman, stephen A, everybody can say it. It doesn't matter.
I don't believe it because I've seen what Tom Brady
has been fortunate enough to have, and that doesn't mean

(04:33):
that he can't play. Okay, I'm not saying that that's
the biggest bs Chris, because you know what, last year
you belly ate that he didn't have any He didn't,
but then you about him. He made everybody. He didn't
make everybody last yere game last year. Body they have anymore.

(04:57):
You can't have it both ways. You can't win the
super Bob. Yeah, the play Oh they were twelve, And
I was saying, now you're using that as a badge
of honor. Oh, wells Welker and all these other guys
who are no good, He made them. But then last
the last couple of years, well, he doesn't have anybody
make them, Tom Brady at forty everybody a little too

(05:20):
much to ask No at forty three, some miracle worker Brown.
It's about the DM, Mike, That's what that team is about.
Stopping Rob It's getting tired. I even said it. He's
getting tired. It'll be about Christian Fourier said he's gonna
be the MVP. No, he wouldn't. He wouldn't even better
on it. He said it the way he didn't say it.

(05:42):
He blinked when when the time came, so what he
still said it? I don't hear he blamed and what
he said it he blinked. What does that mean? What
do you mean he didn't want him? Know you bdm
everybody doesn't have to bag everything. Just now you thinking VP. No,
I didn't pick him to be MVP. Why nah? You

(06:03):
just told me why he is playing? Well, that don't
mean he's gonna be MVP. Now he's in the running.
Right now, you're talking about Russell Wilson. I'm not saying
in this order, but Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady,
Pat Mahons, they're all in it. I mean he's actually
I'm surprised he's actually in the race, and I'm just

(06:25):
being objective, Rob. I watched these games. This dude is
throwing the football really well, and that's all I'm saying. Now,
let's go back to his former team though. What Look,
a few weeks ago, we and and and many others
were raving about Camp, raving and rightfully so they were

(06:47):
two in one. He was playing well through for almost
four hundred yards against Seattle, a top ten. Right, they
had a great chance to win that game. And he's
obviously been very bad since then. Now he's thrown five interceptions,
no touchdowns his last two games, got benched, this last

(07:08):
just yesterday. Now, Belichick did come out and rightfully so
I believe say, Look, we're sticking with Cam. I mean,
he's our quarterback going forward, so he's not losing his job,
but he's struggled. And right, I'm gonna say this, I'm
gonna wait before I make a full judgment on what,

(07:28):
you know, what I'm seeing from Cam, because I assume
he's fine from you know, he had COVID and I
assume obviously he's passed the test and he's obviously you know,
strong enough and all that stuff. But I don't know
did that effect it clearly disrupted his season, and he

(07:48):
has not been the same since. I want to wait
a few more weeks before I say, well, he's blowing it.
He just doesn't have it anymore or whatever before, you know,
because he really hadn't looked good the last few weeks. Yeah,
but quarterbacks have slumps. Things happened. I don't know who
he's throwing two. I can't name their receiving corps. I

(08:10):
can't if you, if you pay me, if you nobody, George,
I couldn't tell you who he's throwing two. Earlier, you know,
he looked good. Yeah, but even then they weren't lightening
up the scoreboard, but they were winning and he looked better.
But he looks bad now. And he did have the COVID,
I don't I don't know what it told. It took
on him. So I'm not going to use that as

(08:31):
an excuse. But it's just a part of the fabrics unknown, right,
that of something that has happened. I mean, that's just
you can't talk about it. It's not like he played
every game. He had to miss a game, right because
of it. I think he missed two. I thought, no,
he missed one. He missed one because they ended up
not playing a game. They're they're two and four. He's
played five games. Yeah, um, but I think that Belichick

(08:57):
is making the right move to stick with him because,
first of all, Stidham's what options does he have? I mean,
Stidham's throwing an interception like once every four or five
times he puts the ball in the air. Yeah, he's
he's He's almost Nathan Peterman, not quite, but all five
five interceptions in the first half of your debut NFL's

(09:21):
first start might be the all timer. Seriously, he's got
to be the all timer. Hey, I can't imagine there's
something worse than that. But um, I think he's making
the right move because look, see what Cam's got. That's
what this is about. See what he's got, and Cam,
maybe he may be done. I don't know. Cam admitted

(09:43):
himself to day Rod. He said, look, I understand if
I don't get better, I could get bench permanently. And
I give him credit for self awareness if he says
anything else, I mean, or to ignore what's happened when
you're throwing five picks and no touchdown in two NFL
games and you're a former MVP and the team was

(10:04):
moving earlier. And now you your players poor. Yes, you
can't get benched, right you got you got taken out
of the game. You can get benched pertly because they
just pulled you out the game yesterday, right right, And
but but I think the smart move is to stick
with him right now and stick when you need a
few games see what he can do. I mean, even

(10:24):
if he's horrible the next game, stick with him for
the next three games or so, give him a full chance.
And if he blows it, he blows it. And I
tell you what, Rob And I'd hate to see this.
If he doesn't do well the rest of this year,
this could be in for Cam Newton. I think that's possible.

(10:47):
I hope it doesn't happen, you know, I was. I was.
I'm not ready to bury him yet because I like
some of the stuff I saw early. But I just
don't know if another team is because remember, look how
many nobody really wanted earlier other than that. But I'm saying,
but when they got off to a good start, he
looked good, so it wasn't like it was nothing like

(11:07):
like he didn't play well at all this year. That
would be different and if he catches fire. I don't know, Chris.
I'm just saying I don't know what their schedule. They
agree with you there, if they, if they, if he
runs off, just let's just refigure this. They win four
games in a row and he plays well, then then
all of a coudin you say he had to covid
he was. He was down and out. You know what

(11:29):
I mean. You could look to something, of course, and
maybe make a case and say, no, he snapped out
of it, of course. I mean there's look, if the
ball is in his court, of course, if he plays well,
he's you know, he's got a future somewhere, whether it's
New England or elsewhere. But I'm saying what he's doing
right now, he looks bad. And I said, I'm right,

(11:50):
I'm holding back judgment, but I'm just saying, these last
two games he's been horrible and if this continues, he
could be done. Because nobody wanted him before this. You know,
before the Patriots signed him. They got him for a song,
and you know, I was one of the first ones
out there saying he needs to go to New England.

(12:11):
They'll put an offense that's perfect for him around him
and he'll be able to play well and either land
a job there or elsewhere. So I hope it works
out for him. But he, as he said, he got
to start delivering. And you're right, they don't have weapons,
but nobody's looking at it. He's not forty two like

(12:32):
Brady was last year. He's still young. And I hope
the hits. We know how many hits he took, you know,
throughout his career in Carolina. I hope the hits haven't
taken their toll on him. So we'll see what happens
with Cam Newton going forward with the past. But right
now they're two and four and looking like they're gonna

(12:54):
be on the outside looking into the playoff race. We're
gonna throw it out to you guys eight seven seven

what does the future hold for him? If if this
season goes awry, you'll turn away in eight seven seven

(14:21):
ninety nine and Chris Real Quick, Alex and Rob g
Are are you cold today or is it just me?
I'm freezing? Rob? Okay, stop, Chris, it's stopped. Finally the
word it's bad out. What is it like sixty. Well,
it gets cold at night there, I know that. But chill, no, stop, no,

(14:47):
what is it? This is cold, Chris. I'm telling you.
I know at night it gets cold now, But during
the day it was fun. Chris. You can't say anything
because you went on one hike with the weighted vest
and you feel like you're a big man in the studio.
Can we got? I got an email from the Lumberjacks
of America asking me to join. That's how. That's how

(15:08):
rugged I was on the right doesn't grow good enough
for you be welcome into the Lumberjack That's why they said.
Anybody who and rob g anybody who dies their beer
cannot That is true. That is a big fact. I don't.
I don't. I don't have of you. I don't die
though it is the top of the hair they get.

(15:31):
All I know is I was master full on those mountains.
That's all I know. Oh my, look at it. In California.
You're in the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What you got, Rod?
They basically cam. Yeah, he could just continue to start
this year because he had COVID. You know I COVID.

(15:51):
I recovered from it. You did you? Yeah? How tough.
Was Yeah, I did, and I recovered from him. But
let me tell you something that I didn't have. I
had mild symptoms, but one thing I did have, but
I know he doesn't definitely has he may be dealing with.
I have brain fog for about five weeks where I
couldn't process information, I couldn't think at all. Really had
it in two or three weeks. He's back playing football

(16:13):
and he need to make decisions. I bet that's the
problem what he's going through right now. All right, that's
that's fair. I mean we don't know about brain fog
or whatever. No, that's the first thing, head like. I
don't know that about losing your smell fatigue, which Shay
be affecting him. I heard fate, you're right, taste um,

(16:34):
but no, I hadn't heard the brain fog. Right, all right,
Mike and Tampa, you're in the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up? Mike? Hello, how y'all doing today?
Good man? How are you to a gut hanging in there?
I was standing. I just want to say that I
steel that Cam should remain the starter, considering the lack
of weapons you can't even name, or running back tight

(16:57):
end or wide receivers. Uh, and in the play calling,
you know, it has to be adjusted too. So I
think Kim should be given a chance to solidify yourself.
Look at this point, you got nothing to lose, you know,
I mean, you know, to let the world right. So
even if you end up three and thirteen, I mean,

(17:19):
you know, learn from it. Give him a shot. I agree, Yeah,
I appreciate the call. Mike appreciate it. How about Bob
in New York. You're on the a couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up Bob? Hey, guys, what's up? Love
the show? Thank you, my man, thank you. Yeah. I
just think that he there's no way you can't blame
on COVID. Like, look, he was playing, like I was

(17:40):
even thinking plays for them. They were they were really high.
Then shooting us COVID came. He's really finished? Like what Yeah,
Like there's a call except four one syndoms. It's fatigued.
So I think you just give him a few weeks.
He'll be back there. And really does no know Stidham
is not really showing anything. I think there's really nothing loose.
Put him back then teams will see from this year

(18:02):
how he does and you'll see from there. That's a
good call. I think you don't want to cry cam
a River, but it's it's it's sad man that here
he is. He finally gets a you know, he's back
in the league, he's got a great coach he's working with.
And if indeed it is COVID, you know what I

(18:23):
mean that that's kind of thrown him off. That's that's
just again, I don't want to crime and River. A
lot of people dealing with much worse. But I'm just saying,
you know, you kind of hate to see that. No, right,
considering where he started, you wouldn't think that he would
be where he now. And the only thing we can
look at when he's healthy fighting, but you know what
I mean, like, yeah, i'd hate to see if this
is related to COVID. It's just unfortunate. Yep, Jesse and Fresno,

(18:48):
you're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Jesse?
All right, how's it going? Man? I love you guys, show,
Thank you, Thank you, buddy. I wanted to start by
saying that I get I listen to the podcast, I
get like the commercials in between the segments, and I
just wanted to congratulate you guys. And I got a
lot of respect for you guys. I'm not being afraid

(19:09):
to become the face of the faces of our erectile dysfunction.
But well, you know, Chris has had a lot of
practice in that last last commercial I saw heard on
that was you, Rob, Rob Parker. You know all these

(19:30):
young girls. Oh never mind, he are you bucking for
Are you bucking for a free? Are you trying to
get some romans in to your house? Right? Is that
what you're trying to do? No, man, I just I
just appreciate you guys. Just your is a fearlessness. Hey, hey,
you that's where the money followed the money, So get

(19:51):
what's your question? What's your question? I just wanted to
say that. Um, I think what's going on in New
England right now? I was kind of telling you what
kind of what kind of holes Tom Brady was filling
last year. And as far as Cam Newton starting, I
don't think it matters either way. I don't think it's
gonna go good for him either way. And I don't

(20:11):
think he can teach accuracy and they're making them throw
the ball, so they either gotta let him run more,
let him do what he does, or you know, just
switch it up. Well, look, he can't prove anything on
the bench, so he's better off starting and if he
if he falls on his face, so be it. But
at least he's getting a shot and with this same team.

(20:33):
Tom Brady was twelve and eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox. All right, we got Jerry Hairston Junior, the
World Series champion, Spectrum Sports net LA analysts. He spoke
with Rob earlier today. You're gonna get to hear it next.

Go to Geico dot com or call eight hundred and
nine four seven auto. The only hard part is figuring
out which way is easier. Our man, Jared Harriston Junior,

(21:18):
the World Series champion, Spectrum Sports net LA analysts, spoke
with Rob earlier. You're gonna be able to hear that
just in a moment. The first question was about how
impressive Clayton Kershaw was last night in Game five, specially
coming off that disastrous ending end Game four. Here, it

(21:38):
is absolutely Clayton definitely delivered, you know, like you mentioned,
definitely after that tough loss in Game four and the
series was tied to two. You know what, Dougers knew
they could not fall treat it two to the rage
with Clayton Kershaw on the mountain. They desperately needed a
great outing from from him, and he delivered in the offense,

(22:00):
really picked him up as well. Really good game of
the Dodgers, both offensively defensively. Great job by Clayton Kershaw
and our bullpen was out standing last night. And it's
just really good to see Clayton continue to pitch well,
not only in the postseason but also in the World Series.
Let's talk about Clayton Kershaw and just you know where

(22:22):
he is. We know all the data and all the
bad numbers. This guy has the lowest ra career wise
and ripped for any starter with a thousand innings or more.
But but Jerry, when it comes to the playoffs, is
era was two point two full runs higher, which is
a lot, and yet this postseason he's UH four and

(22:46):
one ERA under three. He's won two games in this
World Series. This could be that year that, finally if
the Dodgers can you know, wrap this thing up and
finally win a World Series where you can give playing
credit and kind of move past all that, can't you?
If they were I don't see rob Somebody did an

(23:09):
analysis on Clayton Kirshaw when he pitches on short rest,
and a lot of those years when he was pitching
on short rest, he was banged up. A lot of
people don't know this. He had to hurt back, he
had hurt shoulder, had hurt hip as well. He just
tried to battle through it. You know, Clayton's one of
the most toughest guys I've ever played with. Even when
he's banged up, he still feels he needs to be

(23:30):
out there for his team. And a lot of pitchers
wouldn't even take the mount, and he does it all
the time. He takes the ball. And I think that
this year they've been more aware of that and say, you,
no matter what, if you're banged up, if you're hurt,
you're not taking the mount. And we want to pitch
you on regular rest and something somebody like I said,

(23:50):
somebody did a data. When he's on four days rest,
meaning when he's pitching on a normal rest, he deals,
He really pitches well. But when he's pitching on three
days rest, you know he has had struggle a little bit,
just like any other pitcher, would you know, So a
lot of those times he's given up some rungs because
he was banged up. He didn't have his best stuff.

(24:11):
That's just a credit to him. He wants to be
out there first team. But now that he's completely healthy
this year and he's pitching on regular rest, he has performed.
Like Clayton Kershaw. This Tampa Bay Rays team isn't a
pushover by any stretch. What is it about them, Jerry?
They don't have the big names, but they have a
good club. I mean that comeback in Game four, spoke

(24:34):
volumes about them, and we've seen it. They're not hitting
the ball great, but they get clutch hits, clutch home
runs when they needed. What do you like about this
Tampa Bay team? Well, first and foremost, staff, power arms.
This is the best pitching staff that we've seen this year.
Their bullpen, everybody runs it up anywhere from ninety seven
one hundred miles an hour from the left side from

(24:56):
the right side. Their starters outstanding. Glass now has electric
stuff because we saw again last night and the game
six starters. Snell maybe the best pitcher we've seen this year.
He pitched exceptionally well in Game two. He runs it
up there on ninety seven ninety eight miles an hour
with outstanding slider and curveball mixed in a change up
as well. But number one they're pitching is unbelievable. When

(25:18):
you have pitching, you have a chance that their defenses
outstanding as well. They got great range in the outfield,
really good defensively in the infield. So those two components
gives you a chance to win. And they hit the
long ball, you know they have power. And now with
their pitching staff, these guys understand, hey, we just need
a couple of runs to give ourselves a chance to win.

(25:39):
And they've done a pretty good job of scratching and
clawing runs and never giving up. So we knew going
in this raised team. They beat the Yankees, they beat
the ass Shows. Those are two really good teams of
veteran teams and ought to win, you know, you beat
those two teams, that means you're pretty good. So the
Rays are definitely the best team we've played this year.

(26:00):
What about Corey Seeger? Is he the MVP if the
Dodgers wrapped this thing up? Or could it also go
to Kershaw dependent he has two wins? Who do you like?
I mean? Or is there other guys in there who
could be World Series MVP? You know, we just hope
we win a game tomorrow and once we win that

(26:20):
game in the World Series is over and World Champions,
then we could decide who the MVP is. You know,
if you can give it to a couple of guys
are given the Corey Sieger has been one of the
hottest hitters in all baseball. Justin Turners had a great series.
I believe in Game three and four he went back
to back in the first inning of each game hitting
a home run. Mookie Betts has been an electric on

(26:42):
the base pass Defensively, he's as good a right fielder
I've ever seen in my life. He's made an impact there.
And talking about Clayton Kershaw, you know, giving us a
chance to win in the two outings he's pitched, so
you know, the Dodger players really aren't concerned about who
the MVP is. They just want to win this championship
and it will we see Jansen at all the rest

(27:03):
of this World Series or probably not. We might see him.
You know, he pitches better when he has a day
of rest, or a couple of days of rest, or
the velocity seems to be there. When he's pitching him
back to back days, that's when you see a big
drop in velocity. So you know, with this day off
and here day off yesterday, he's well rested. He might

(27:24):
come in to you know, maybe come in the eighth,
seventh inning, high leverage situation. But well, we saw of
Blake training the last night. I have a feeling Dave
Roberts will use him again as the closer. The way
he threw the ball last night. Yeah, I think that
would only make sense. I think you would be crazy
to go away from that and go back to the

(27:44):
well in that situation. So last thing, obviously, you know
you don't want to go to Game seven. Uh. You know,
I saw some fans talking about Buellership pitch and just
get it over with whatever, And that is not the
way you suppose to do that. Because you want your
ace right, if there's a game seven, to be ready

(28:05):
to go on regular rest, to be able to pitch.
Is that not correct? Absolutely, there's a reason why you
hold on your ace, hold on your ace and poker right.
You hold on your aces just in case and get
there's a game seven. You don't want him pitching on
short rest when you don't have to. You know, we
hold the cards here. We have a three two lead.

(28:26):
Let Tony Gonson start, hopefully gives us four or five
six intings and pitch as well, and then our bullpen
is well rested. We can go match up base the
rest of the way and let Walker Butley pitch on
regular rest if there is a game seven. But we
want to close it out in game six, and we
have the offensive firepower to do so, and we got

(28:47):
the pitch him to back off. And so hopefully you
play well tomorrow night and finish this thing off. And
you notice, because you want a championship with the Yankees
in two thousand and nine, there's nothing leader than to
finally get one, and for the Dodgers in the organization
and all that has happened, you know, over the last

(29:08):
eight or nine years of disappointment. This would be something
and huge for Los Angeles to finally win that championship
since nineteen eighty eight. Rob I was in left field
when Mariano Rivera came out of that bullpen for us
and we had I think a four run lead and
he was coming in to finish off a four out saved,
and I said, day scoring four or five runs out

(29:29):
for Mariano, not tonight. And I got a chance to reflect.
You know, my father didn't have this opportunity, my grandfather
and my brother didn't have this opportunity. And he started
to think about it. How special it is to be
a part of it on the foot side, with the
Dodgers as a fan base, the players like Clayton Kershawk
and the Chance and Justin Turner, guys have fought so
hard to be in this position. It is a special moment,

(29:52):
something that you will never forget. I knew I'll never
forget it. And hopefully these guys shut the door and
get it done. But like you know, they said, jobs
got finished. You gotta have four wins, and hopefully they
shut the door to Marnay all right. Jerry Hairston Junior,
thanks again for the insight. And we'll be watching Game
six of the World Series tomorrow night. Can't wait. Thanks Rob,

(30:17):
nice job and insight and Jerry knows all about it
winning that championship with the Yankees, but the Dodgers got
to get it done, and it'll be it ain't gonna
be easy, Blake Snell, their rays Ace is pitching, and
they're saving their ace for Game seven. So this will
be interesting to see how it all plays out. It
is The Odd Couple Fox Sports Radio. We got one

(30:41):
last segment in this program. Stick and stay America. Be
sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple with
Chris Broussard and Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern,
four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
It's the I Couple, Chris and Rob rapping up a
Magic City Monday. We're coming to you live from the

(31:03):
Geico Fox Sports Radio studios. It's only right Rob that
we wrap this up with the NFL. It's been a
mostly NFL Monday. And the forty nine ers, who are
four and three, still very much alive. Obviously it's early,
but they're very much alive in the NFC playoff race.

(31:27):
But there was an article today saying that they might
move on. According to sources, that the organization is keeping
its options open regarding Jimmy Garoppolo. It might move on
from it. I guess his contract, the guaranteed portion will

(31:48):
be paid off by twenty twenty one, so they've got
flexibility in deciding what they want to do. And look,
I'm not gonna sit here and tell you Jimmy Garoppolo
is Aaron Rodgers or is the next great quarterback in
the league and all that, But I will tell you this,
Jimmy Garoppolo. You could do much worse than Jimmy Garoppolo.

(32:12):
And whatever it is, the guy wins games. He's twenty
four and seven as a starter. Remember when he went
to San Francisco, they were horrendous. They were one in
ten in twenty seventeen. He immediately rips off five straight

(32:33):
wins with the one and ten crew. All right. Then
the next year he gets hurt. He played three games
one and two. In those games, he gets hurt in
the third game, they go four and twelve, rob and
then he comes back next year. I know they added

(32:53):
a few players, but he goes thirteen and three and
leads them to the super Bowl, and they were a
Pat Mahomes rally from winning the super Bowl, basically nine
minutes away from winning the super Bowl. And again I'm
not saying the guys are gonna be an all time great,
but I rob for a guy did wins so much,

(33:18):
For a guy whose value is shown when he's on
the field versus when he's not on the field in
terms of wins and losses, he gets a ton of disrespect.
In my book, Well, there is no doubt about that.
But I'm also not so sure, you know, And I'm
not trying to discredit whoever wrote that piece or whatever.

(33:38):
I just find that hard to believe, to be honest.
And even this year, Chris he was hurt. Wasn't he
hurt this year? Yeah? He was hurt. So I'm just like, like, like,
what part did he has he done so wrong? Is
what I'm trying to say, Like, right, I just I
don't get it, Like, the guy was hurt, They did

(33:59):
get to the super Bowl, they had a shot. Uh,
they were really close, You're right, I mean he could
easily be standing here with a super Bowl championship easy, yep.
And that's the way it was put together and the
way they ran the ball in their defense. I mean,
I mean they were right there. I don't I just
don't understand, Like switch to who Chris right, move on

(34:21):
to go to who you know? There's thirty two teams
and twenty would love to get a franchise quarterback. Twenty
Am I wrong? Or right now? You're right? I get it. Yeah,
if you can upgrade. Sure there's better quarterbacks than Jimmy Garoppolo,
no doubt. But the level again of disrespect that this

(34:44):
guy gets, and I don't know, maybe it's balancing out
because because initially people were treating him like he was
gonna be the next time Brady, and they gave him
that contract him player yeah in the league and he
played like six yeah what was out six games? We
five for San Francisco and then a couple for the Patriots.

(35:06):
But I'm with you, Rob, like who are you getting
and why? Look the dude can improve a little bit too,
Like you've always said, some of this always is on
Kyle Shanahan. I mean, can we keep that real? We
have to keep it real, because it's true. They've they've

(35:28):
Kyle Shanahan's apart. He's the author of two blown Super Bowls. Chris,
that's fact. That's a lot to think about. Two Yeah, yeah,
that's two blown Super Bowls in the fourth quarter. What
some of you wonders? Are they trying to use Garoppolo
as escape guy? Right? You know what I'm saying, keep

(35:49):
the heat off of off Kyle, But I don't know. Look,
I think he's gonna be there. Um, unless you got
a sure thing replacing him, you better stick with him.
As the kid can win. He shone that so far
and until he proves otherwise, I think you gotta stick
with him. So it was a magic City Monday. We

(36:09):
made magic. Hopefully you feel the same way as Chris
and Rob the Eye couple. We'll catch you tomorrow. Poop,
