Speaker 2 (00:22):
You're listening to the Best of the Odd Couple.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Last night, Luca finally made his debut fourteen points. A
little rusty and placed since Christmas, which is fine. What
was he one for six or seven? Seven from the
three point line? Fourteen points? It was, you know, it
was fine. He looked good. It was a blowout at
a nice easy opponent in Utah, a really bad team.
(00:50):
But I guess your your your thoughts now that at
winning the NBA Championship, is that where you're going?
Speaker 3 (00:55):
They're three peating, Okay, they're three pting. Good, Bron's gonna
play extra couple of years there. I wanted to be
just like the three peat that the Chiefs just had.
Three No, it was great to see Luca added to
what they've been doing the last several games. Anyway, because
Lebron had been on a game they still were winning.
Austin Reeves has been on a tear lately, so it
(01:15):
was good to see, all right, how's Luca gonna fit
in this thing? Obviously, they won and they picked a
great opponent in the Jats to kind of get things going,
get some fluidity.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
But they're playing well right now, even before Luca. They're
nine to one of their last ten games, which is crazy.
Now they sit at fourth in the West. They're, ah,
what a game and a half behind Denver at for third.
They've been playing well defensively, one of the top ranked
defensive teams in the last twelve games. Offensively with efficiency
(01:43):
top twelve top teams in the last twelve games as well.
Lebron has been on the tear. They asked JJ Reddick
last night, you know, at what's happened with Lebron. It
seems like he's been playing like a next level and
they and JJ says, I had to talk to him
after the blowout in Portland, and that's all. It's all
I have to say about that. So whatever that conversation was,
I don't know what it was.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
So of course.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
JJ's trying to take credit that he motivated Lebron after
twenty years.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not pat Riley at all. But
what I'm saying is Lebron is look really good.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
So in the.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Addition to Luca Man, it sparks something I think you're
gonna get for right now at least and hopefully, you know,
the injury stays away from the Lebron because that's really
the main key.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
I like what you're gonna get from them.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Offensively, I like what you're getting from them with some
of the pieces gave Vincent finally coming around.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Somebody they got from Miami can play Pinney Smith.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
He is playing well defensively, shoe the ball exactly what
you hope for.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Ruey is playing well.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
So my thing about it, rob is while they're playing great,
it's also a look at the West and outside of OKC,
which is just dominating the West at forty three to nine,
it becomes Grizzlies, who are second right now in the West.
They don't necessarily scare me if I'm the Lakers. I mean,
they just beat him recently. I don't even think Lebron
was playing that game. The nugget are the Nuggets. That's
(03:01):
the worry with Jokis. But outside from that, I go
to rockets below the Lakers, they don't necessarily scare me
from the Lakers now that I have Luca. Clippers don't
scare me. Timberwolves don't scare me. Mavericks don't scare me.
Because especially with Ad being hurt. So part of this
optimism isn't just simply them. It's also Rob looking at
the West saying outside of Oka, see, there's no team
if I'm the Lakers that say we can't beat and
(03:23):
I think that's a good feeling as they try to
find their way their mess and find a way to be,
you know, cohesive with Luca moving forward. So that's a
two man tandem that's scary. Rob, those two in the
offensives in a series of me seven game series, Lebron
and Luca, that's a scary tannem with the ball in
hand because they can create for themselves.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Once again, you're.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Just making the I got a new toy and it's
better than anything I ever had. But you haven't said anything.
If Luca and Lebron are that's scary. Are they gonna
win the NBA Championship? Are they gonna get to the championships?
He played twenty four minutes. I'm asking you don't go
there said, and I don't know. There's no answers.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
I know why because I saw one game, Gammy.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Can I get a week?
Speaker 5 (04:07):
No?
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Can I get two weeks? Because it's when I get
a month. What you said was nothing.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
What I said was there's nobody scary and what does
that mean?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
That means that prior to Luca, the Lakers a similar team.
The years they went to they won one championship, they
went to Scottis My point is no, I'm just trying
to say.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
You mean he's that much better as Anthony Davis. Garbines.
He says, no, I think Davis not garbage.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Come on, you want and Anthony Davis were making it
into they had to go into the play.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
In they're completely he's a completely different player, Rob. You
should know that he's a completely different player. The issue
with the Lakers had been if Lebron doesn't create a.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Championship and Luca hasn't. He was the favorite last year.
Oh they're gonna beat the Celtics. Everybody in their uncle
picked up the Mavericks and what happened And then you.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Say, oh, well, you know it depends on the injury Yeah,
Lebron is injury prone. He's forty years old. Yes, he
can do it for a stretch, but can he do
it back to back? Can he do it as much
as they need him?
Speaker 2 (05:07):
And Luke?
Speaker 3 (05:08):
And that's been the same exact thing.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Luca has been hurt a lot. Luca has missed time.
That's the issue with him. And so that's why I wait.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
So what are you saying.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I'm saying they're not going to the Western Conference finals.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
I'm not buying this hype.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
And one day, Oh Luca, everything the Lakers do is great.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Oh the Lakers got this Luca part of it. So
I'm saying, so where's where's Luca?
Speaker 6 (05:38):
Right where?
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Luca went to the finals? Where I said that? And
he went to the where last year he went to
the finals? So all of a sudden, what happened? He
got to the finals.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
So what happened? He was he the favorite last year?
I'm asking he was lost?
Speaker 1 (05:53):
He was the overwhelming favorite? Yes or no? Overwhelming he was?
He was he was over what they overwhelming.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Nobody believed in the Celtics.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Oh no, you're getting carried away with the nobody believe
you absolutely getting carried away with nobody believe the Celtic year,
the same Celtics, the same Celtics who have taken your head.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Yes, thank you, because what are you talking about? The
overwhelming favorite. They went to the finals before the Celtics.
Take your head, yes, prop they went to the finals
before the Celtics. They've been in the Eastern Conference finals
a million times. The Celtics were a heck of a team.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
No your body going out and talking about I'll put you.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Up so the man gets to the finals.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Pull up the ESPN when they made the picks for
the championship last year of the Celtics and the Mavericks go.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Look it up.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Okay, I don't care what four or five from what
I'm saying, tell you don't have the overwhelming favorites.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
Is what you said? And they were not. This is
the typical Laker.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Okay, nine to eight, No one was ninety eight eight,
nineteen nine eight, And I'm gonna tell you this, that's overwhelming.
This is the chipical chipical. Oh, the Lakers do something,
They're gonna win the championship.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Nobody said that.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Bron has four freaking championships in twenty years and they're
gonna win the championship.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Because Luca showed up.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Really, okay, this is that's Luka donches and it was
a bubble championship that he won. Here he hasn't won
a real championship over ten years. You just said is
one of the top three best players in that I
said top five, top okay, top five, most people say
top three. And then he goes to the finals last year.
(07:33):
Now he's with Lebron who is still one of the
top whatever. You want to him play any defense, that's
not one of the players.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Oh yes, we're not going there.
Speaker 6 (07:40):
He is.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
He doesn't play defense. I agree with that. What he's
top one in a series, I'm talking. I'll answer the
question top one a series just offensively.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
That's not how you great.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
There are there are maybe four guys on five guys
max I take over Lebron in the series maybe, and
that's just one of them. Don't count because he's on
his team in Luca. So I'm saying, if Luka Donciskin
drag a team to the finals, y can't he drag
a team with Lebron to the Western Commerce Finals?
Speaker 4 (08:06):
Was he ain't Kyrie Lebronn.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
And the issue was they didn't have any shot creators.
That's the issue with the Lakers and what it's been.
If Lebron goes to the bitch, who else.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Can create an other people one championship in twenty some
odd years and automatically he's going to the finals?
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Why where we are?
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Why do you keep You're literally ignoring the person who's
better than Lebron right now in Luca.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Okay, this is about Luca.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
You keep bringing up the Luka Doncics, the arguably best player,
second third best player in the league, is not with him.
Are you forgetting that? I didn't say Austin Rae is alone.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
He didn't play since Christmas? Right he had Yeah, Okay,
he's injury prone. He also has a bad habit of
getting out of shape.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
We know that, soick. No, I'm just telling you. These
are facts. These are facts. He has a he's twenty five.
He has a thirty five year old body.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Did you watch him? Yes, so that you look at
him because you look like he's twenty five. He looks
like he's thirty five. By the time the season is over,
he might be fifty five. That's what he looks like.
I'm not there. I'm not there with you.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
I'm not with Anthony Davis. What are you talking about?
And Athony Davis? They were going to.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
The Western Conference Final either with Anthony Davis, and they're
not going.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
To do it.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Is Luca better than Anthony Davis? Yes, so they got
worse somehow to you? No, they got there the same,
they're the same, they got same adding a better player.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
No, they actually they did get worse on the defensive end. So, yes,
you're right. The defensive end, they're not as good as
they were with Anthony Davis, who could protect the rim
and do some other stuff with his size. Luca is
not a good defender, and neither is Lebron. And they
could score all the points they want, but teams will
be able to score against them.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
They don't play defense.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
We just saw the Philadelphia Eagles win a Super Bowl
one off of defense.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
We talk about it all the time. You gotta get stopped,
you gotta get blocks. It ain't just about scoring. That's
not how you win. We know that.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
But I'll tell you what if I got the ball
in miss prime, Lucahan prime, not prime, but and Lebron's hand,
that's a lot to deal with. Man, And I don't
know who that's a that's a lot to stop possession
for possession you are.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
So now, Rob, we're.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Starting to get more and more coming out of Dallas,
more drama, more issues, fans getting kicked out of games
because they're saying, you know, they need to sell the team.
They're yelling at Nico Harrison, and it has just been
utter chaos ever since they made this deal with Luca
and the Lakers. So one of the things I find
(10:55):
interesting about this, Rob is how the governor of the
Mavericks and they like to call him owners, but the.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Governor, he's Helloguvnor, Hello Guvnor.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
He's been coming out making it a point to bash
Luca lately, as opposed to moving on. The tray's done,
Let's celebrate ad, Let's celebrate Christy, Max Christy. He keeps
going out of his way to explain and make it
make sense to people when it still won't make sense.
And he's talking about how Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson
and Larry Bird and Kobe the greats. They all maintained
(11:27):
the level of professionism and they stayed in shape. And
he is just finding a way to keep talking about Luca.
And if Luca of your ex why you keep going
back to them?
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Move on?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
If Lucas you know you guys moved on, your Patrick,
excide about ad you got these peop move on?
Speaker 4 (11:41):
They keep talking about them.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
And to me, the way they're handling the fans now
kicking them out of games because fans are gonna express themselves.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
They're upset.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
They literally lost a generational talent that guy thought they'd
have for ten more years at least.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Right And as to me, as long as they're not.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Profaned, you know things people and stuff like that, Well
they're not doing that stuff. And the only thing is
as a as an ownership, you could say you can't
bring in signs inside if you're blocking other people's views.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (12:14):
It is these things are by the letter of the law.
For sure, you can say you can't do this. But
I just think I just haven't liked the way they've
handled it post the trade.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
To me, I agree, there's no reason to keep revisiting it.
You had the press conference you told them we're moving on.
We're about a D.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
We got a D. We think we have a good
enough team to make a run.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
And I would just say, let's wait, hey, guys, hit
me back when the NBA playoffs start and tell me
what you think, Like.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
We think we have a team that going down game one.
But you know what I mean that said before trade.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Was you know who's been to me handling it the
right way because they asked him about it. Fans are
saying this. Fans are upset. Fans are you know, they're protesting.
You got a thousand people protested the other day. Kyrie
Irvin had something to say.
Speaker 7 (13:03):
I think it's graduated from just like hate to anger
to the cycle of of emotions, you know, just the hate,
the anger, the grieving and then the passion. You know,
you got to give credit to Dallas fans. They've really
cheered not only for Luca but for the Mavericks for
you know, forty some odd years and this is their
community team, you know. So it's just like I felt
(13:24):
the way when you know, the New Jersey Nets moved
to Brooklyn, and I don't know, I'm not comparing it,
but it's just like I felt away when I was
a kid, you know, even when J Kid was on
the nets and he got traded. I was mad at
J Kid for a while as a young fan, you
know what I mean, Like you know, it's just it's
just part of the Newman nature and this journey in
the NBA business and the NBA lifestyle, and also just
the connectivity engagement we have with the fans.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Articulated that, well, like that, he gets it. Luca was
their guy. Why wouldn't they be upset out the blue?
It wasn't Luca didn asked for a rob glamor and
for get me out of here.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
What they like like star players, I haven't been traded
and and that's the only thing that And I get it,
this is different. He's young, all the stuff, and they thought,
but some of the greatest players who ever played were
all traded, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
No, I get that, but this is odd in that. No,
but I was just saying, signed to it.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Nah, I know, but but Wayne Gretzky was traded, Like seriously,
I know if you were an Edmonton Oiler fan back then,
and he's the greatest hockey player ever. I don't think
anybody disputes that right, he's not. There's no dispute about
the great one. The great one, right, like Wayne Gretzky
is the greatest hockey player ever.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
And I'm sure they were not happy.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
And there's small Edmonton when he's going to the La Kings,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Really, I'm trying to think that's a good one. Obviously
that was that was stay.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
What was that? I don't remember what, Yeah, but it was.
It was a big deal.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
But I'm just thinking, like, the Canada still hasn't recovered, right.
I think the thing for me is the out of
the blue of it, Like if there's a city, it wasn't.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
He's been having his beef. He's been his issue. If
they trade.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Joel Embiid right now, You've all right, it's just kind
of seeing it come in. It's just with some injuries
things like this, you would see it. This is like wait, what,
Like you just woke up with Luca's gone twenty five,
He's one of the finals. In your mind, we're gonna
be even better this year, and it's like wait a minute.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
What, oh no, that adds to it. Yeah, it was
out of note. There was no there was no inkling.
This something there's no he wanted. You couldn't even know.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, he was shocked that he was getting ready to
close on a house and everything. So I just don't
like the way they've been had the link post to trade.
But that also wanted to get his money back on
the house. Yeah, yeah, I think he will. That happened
to me in Cincinnati.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
I was ready to close on a condo and I
wound up getting the job at the Free Press. And
you know, I was a baseball riding Cincinnati is gonna
be the first black columnist sports columnist at the Free Press,
you know, a great top ten newspaper.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
I'm not going to pass that up.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Even though I love Cincinnati, I love covering baseball, I
love my new condos buying.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
And they gave me my money back. Yeah, I thought
that was the nicest that is. That is nice.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
They're gonna help me to say not everybody said your
deposit you lost it.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
Yeah, it's a half on in Detroit, but we got
this exactly.
Speaker 2 (16:02):

Chris Geter McGhee is our guest Spectrum Sports Net Laker
pre and post game host and him on All Show
on and also he is a peanut butter pretzel thief.
Oops did I say that?
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Geeter? What's up? Man? I mean, I tell you I
got beef with you. You know.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
I went to go see Steph to get some peanut
butter pretzels and she's like, Geeter has them.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
So I've been wanting to see you. I'm glad I
finally got you on. What's up? Brother? How are you?
Speaker 6 (16:35):
I was a going guys, listen, I love the peanut
butter pretzel snack, and I got Steph knows that. You
know when she buys a box, the go to my desk.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
Whatever, man, that's supposed to be for all of us,
not just you. Wow, all right, what a bunch of
think man. Luca makes his debut. First of all, just
walk us back. Actually this trade would have happens. Where
were you? How did you feel? I mean, just is
absolutely came out the blue.
Speaker 6 (16:57):
Well, Kelvin, I was at work where you work as well,
and we were together. Actually I wasn't with you. I
was off the air. This was crazy. Our postgame show ended.
I'm driving out of the gate, I'm making a right
onto the street, and I just all of a sudden,
my phone's blowing up. I get to the stop sign.
I look, and everyone's sending texts and saying is this real?
And it's the shams tweets.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:19):
And my first thought, you guys don't understand this was,
oh man, I got to hide. I don't want to
go back to work. Its real, out of here. And
then I'm like, there's so I so I often I
see his hacked. It is, you know, trending on Twitter.
So I just you know, right real quick, No, this
ain't real. He got hacked. Literally five minutes later, phone's
blown up. Everyone's like, it's real. I just couldn't believe
(17:40):
I think I was up for the next two three
hours just talking to everyone and reading everything I could,
and I just couldn't believe it. Guys. It was. It
was different than anything that I feel like I've ever
been a part of here, you know, just when Shack
came to LA was different. As Free Agency, you know,
ad Trade, we kind of knew was going to happen
at some point. This one was out of the blue,
out of nowhere, shocked the NBA world and nobody knew
about it. That to me is the craziest part.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
No doubt about it. When a team trades a twenty five.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Year old international star with his resume who's done everything
to qualify for a Super Max, don't you feel like,
what are we not knowing what's going on here?
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Did you think about that as well?
Speaker 6 (18:21):
For sure? Rob, I mean I don't get it, really.
I mean, I think there's two parts to it. And listen,
I'm not putting words in anyone's mouth in Dallas, but
just doing my own thoughts and research and talking to people,
Like I think there's a financial component that you'll never
tell your fans about. Maybe they didn't want to invest
the three fifteen. I don't know the reasons. And then
maybe there's some frustration parts and things. But when you're
(18:42):
frustrated with your star player, you talk to them and
you find a way to make it work. Like Doctor
busted when Kobe wanted to get traded, Right, I mean,
we're talking about the best player in the history of
your franchise outside of Dirk probably right, Like he's seven
years in, he's got you to the finals. What six
months ago, by the way, two years prior to that,
he got that team that didn't have any help to
(19:03):
the Western Conference finals and he had one leg. So
I don't know. Like to me, I just yeah, it
made me think, what do we don't know? But you
have to take the shot a few of the Lakers
because not only are you presently all of a sudden
in the picture and a contender, which I think they
were getting there anyway, but now your whole future is
set so you can build around this guy.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
No, no doubt about it.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
One thing I wanted to ask too, Dalton connect when
he got when the trade was rescinded, he came back
and then he didn't want to play, needed to think
about think about stuff.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
What did you make of that? I thought that was
what is it?
Speaker 2 (19:37):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (19:37):
What does it think about? Like you got your back
on it.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Welcome to the paying you and the trade didn't go through,
Like I was surprised by that.
Speaker 6 (19:46):
I'm curious about that guy because during the game last night,
Sean's put out that report that Charlotte was making inqueriers
with the NBA to see with the Lakers about that trade. Right,
So was there something where he couldn't play in that
game because maybe Charlotte was doing those you know, background
(20:07):
checks with the NBA and see if the Lakers, you know,
I think a recourse and all that. So I'm not
sure Listen, if he if he wasn't feeling it or
he had some things to think about. I gotta be
honest with you, man, if I'm him, I'm happy to
be back in LA and I think that's where he's
going to land and be happy. He's twenty what, twenty two,
twenty three years old, he's a rookie. Like to me,
just suit up and let's go. You got you got
(20:30):
second life. And it's all good because listen, he has
loved here. Yeah, fans are so excited to have him back.
So listen, I you know, the first time he's going
through it. But I'm curious to kind of find out
the details of that, to be honest.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
That was something like he needs more time to process happened. Yeah, Yeah,
that was. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
I mean obviously thinking I'm about to be a Laker
for live and in booms you know what.
Speaker 6 (20:52):
A yeah, Now, now we got to see if he
plays tomorrow. That that's the one to me where I
think he'll play rights game. I'm hoping at least before
they all start breaking play.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Chris get mcgae Spectrum Sports that Lakers pre and postgame.
My guy, let me ask you stay with the Lakers
right now? What's their ceiling? Rob and I got into
it earlier. I said, the ceiling to me absolutely can
be the Western Conference Finals. I think the two man
game of Luca and Lebron plus the uh, you know,
Austin Reeves playing well is a lot to deal with
in the West, and the West to me, outside of
(21:23):
Oklahoma City kind of.
Speaker 6 (21:25):
Open, wide open.
Speaker 4 (21:28):
You don't think so, Rob, No, I'm still not there.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
I need to see forty year old Lebron defensively. You know,
who's going to stop the rim? You know they've had
problems like when they played the Joker right too easy?
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Yeah, Yeah, that's all I'm saying that.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
That's all I'm saying, Chris is Yeah, those are the
things that I look at as if you're going to
get there, you might have to go through that, and
who's going to defend him?
Speaker 4 (21:54):
That's listen.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
I think that's totally fair. I've just been for the
last two month. It's slowly been building for me. That
and maybe because I'm in it. I'm watching every single
day and like seeing them get better defensively. But what
I've seen the last few weeks, I'm kind of blown away.
I didn't see it coming. Like thri and Finney Smith
is a dog, Vandos a dog, gave Vincent all of
a sudden healthy and the guy's so confident. I was
at the game last night. I happened to be down
(22:17):
there doing the show. You know, we get to go
about once a month, and I couldn't believe how good
he looked. It started to like I'm kind of with
Kelvin now where I'm like, man, that's not Okay City.
It's wide open. But I do think Rob makes a
good point with like Denver, Okay, we got to do
it against them because that's been our nemesis the last
two years that we haven't been able to get by.
So I'd like to see us beat them before I
start beating my chest and saying we're the champs. But
(22:39):
I'm not putting a ceiling on them. I feel like
the West is wide open up side of Okay, see,
I really do.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
And the other thing too, Luca and we know he's
twenty five as a thirty five year old body.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
We don't know you that.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
I'm just saying, like, you got to hope that he's
going to be able to stay healthy, write and control
his west key.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
Is that fair?
Speaker 6 (23:01):
Key?
Speaker 4 (23:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (23:02):
I mean I think it's totally fair. I mean, listen
that calf has been I mean, you know, his his injury,
that kind of has reoccurred, and you know that to me,
obviously is something that I'm going to be looking at
and you know, crossing your fingers every single time, like
when when you know, when you used to see a default,
you'd be like, oh man, yeah, because you know, because
you know if he goes down, you know what happens
(23:22):
to the team. Right, So Luca has to be healthy,
I mean obviously for this team to go, and they
got to ease him back. Man, you can't. You know,
he's not going to be playing forty forty minutes a
night yet until he's until he's ready physically. It's just
you can't do it. You have to think longer game.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
All right, man, We appreciate you on christ yep, thank you.
Speaker 6 (23:39):
Man, I'm sorry I called late good.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Yeah, it's all good man.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
We got yeah, we got radio money Rob Robert Hope.
Speaker 6 (23:48):
Kelvin's nicer to you at Workman ignored me when he's
you know.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
I gotta get I gotta work him over like a
burger and flies almost over right, Hen, we gotta get.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
You back on.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
I'm ana wake you say that get I'm about to
wake your butt up early and.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
Get you in the morning show. Just because you said that,
we're calling you at six forty five.
Speaker 6 (24:08):
I'm up watch it. Come on baby, that's true.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
All right, Thank you man.
Speaker 6 (24:11):
Later, guys,
