Dodgers pregame show. So we'll talk with Tim Kates. Get
caught up on the world champion Dodgers. Plus a little

(02:24):
hot seat. Jason Smith jumps in. That's an hour number three.
I poured some smoke barbecue sauce on his back. Do
that like it smoked so much? You don't want to
do his own show?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
That's right?

Speaker 1 (02:35):
And the last call in case you miss out on
getting in on the action at some point.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
But first you just snuck it in at barbecue suth
in his background. Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Well, first, let me welcome in my partner, Kelvin Washington.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
I'm being honest, man, it feels so good to be
here because usually, you know, you gotta go to work
and that can be a stressful thing. No, this is
so much less stressful than what I was just doing
a couple of hours ago. My daughter was in a
spelling bee contest, and I can't express to you the
level of WUSA, the level of that was needed right

(03:10):
now in order. I mean, that is the most stressful
sports you get. Hey, you miss a shot, you miss
a cack in soccer is like you can use to that.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
You can deal with that.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Never gonna make all these shots. You're never gonna hit
all your at bats. But Daggan's spelling be it was
nerve wrecking, Robs. But I'm good now, happy to be
here with you guys. Very nice, stressful, and she did
what she did very well, Very proud of her, very
stressful though, my gosh.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Very very nice. We love that.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Nerves criticized me for not taking part in the spelling bee.
I should get one hundred on every spelling test and
then they were like, you should be in the spelling Bee.
And I'm like, I'm not a really good speller if
you give me ten words and give me a week
to write, right right, not just you can do that,
but I'm not a speller like on the spot. So
I was like, I just don't think I'm that good

(03:52):
of a speller.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I get you. Then you made a forty year career, right.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
I know?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Is that unbelievable? I know my teachers, they knew what
was best. Yes, all right, so uh, let's welcome in
the odd couple of cool. We wouldn't be able to
do this fine radio program without who we got.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
We got.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Alex's our engineer. How about Brie, she's free falling. What's up, Brie?

Speaker 5 (04:13):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Guys?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I like that, Bree free falling?

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (04:16):
I like that, so Brie, Yes, Bree in for rob
G on your shirt? No, it's a phoenix suns. I
couldn't see that. I can't see the number from here.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
And Rob G is probably turning over on side to
get brown, you know, if he wants to be evenly
brown on both sides.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
It takes a long time to talk to sixty nine
family members to just Alex, I don't know how many
breeds on the trip. On the trip, that's gotta be racist.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
A v W waggon the first road trip. You just
you were doing good. You think he's avoiding any Stop.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Oh god, let's not. Let's not go there.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Okay, stop, that was quick you were on that one
we took. We took a bad turn, all right, that
was a great turn yesterday, all right. And Martin Weiss
is at the anchor desk. Come on, Mark, we got
to figure out what we're eating.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Man.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
He'll keep us updated throughout the program. And of course, Elijah,
this is our social media guru. He does a great
job on the social So there you go. All right,
let's get started. Hoy LT the real LT. We saw him,

(05:26):
We did see him. He look great, you know it does.
Lawrence Taylor. I'm old enough and I've been covering the
National Football League since.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Nineteen eighty seven, and you know what I covered, Lawrence Taylor.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Wow, that is a wow? Am I right?

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Don't you think that's a wild I mean, I'm the
greatest you could argue that got his football player, not
even just defensive.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I was a reporter in New York at the daily
news at that time, and I used to write giant
sidebars and go to the games and all that and
talk to Lawrence Taylor and all that back in the
day when he was wild out on the field and
off the field.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Okay, wow, But.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Anyway, Uh, we've said this a couple of times, and
talking about Michael Parsons, who people were saying was the
next Lawrence Taylor early on in his career, right, I
think that talk has died down drastically. But anyway, Lawrence
Taylor had a message for Michael Parsons.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Let's hear it, you know. And I've been talking about
Michael Parsons.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
He's he's a great player, but gods, this two more.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Let's play more football and less podcast I mean.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
There was Lawrence Taylor, and obviously they weren't podcasting back
when I was covering football and he was playing and
starting in the NFL and all that stuff. But that's
just a simple message, am I right? For real, Michael Parsons,
the podcasting game, all that other stuff you want to
do will be there for you if you're a great player.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Am I right?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
It's just a matter of there's it'll be there for you.
You don't have to do it now. You don't want
to look up one day and have your ten twelve
year career go by and you not reach your full
potential because you were distracted by other stuff.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
It's a short ride. Short. It ain't like being.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
A sports writer where you could have a forty five
to fifty year career. Right, I'm still going thirty nine
in counting. You don't get to do that as a
professional athlete. If you're lucky, lucky, lucky lucky, you're Tom Brady,
extra extra lucky, you're Lebron James. Baseball players have been

(07:42):
many who done played twenty years. But you get my point.
It doesn't happen a lot, but the idea that you
would waste your time and energy on stuff that really really.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
You haven't mastered the game.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Your team hasn't gone to the NFC Championship or a
Super Bowl, won any hardware like Defensive Player of the Year,
like all that.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Right, not yet, I don't think so. Right? Did he
win one? Four time All Pro Pro bowler, three time
All Pro? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I can't remember if he won. If it's play feeling, no,
I don't think he has No.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
I don't think so not yet, right, look that up
for me, Bri. I just want to make sure that
one didn't slide in. But you get my point. As
good as he is and all the stuff, that he's
still a lot to be done, there's still a.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Lot to be done, and he has a chance to
be that guy.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I mean, everybody was talking about him in the same
breadth as Lawrence Taylor.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah, he's been incredible. That's far where you got it.
Just the Rookie of the Year. Yeah, that was it.
Okay defense, yeahh okay.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
And that's what I'm saying, like, there are other big
time awards to win. I didn't want to show change him,
so I'm glad we looked it up. But anyway, I
think LT's message is real. And if he was listing
or somebody told him, put down the damn microphone and
cut the podcast off and focusing on football for the
next ten years.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
How's that?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
So two things here, One, the message is right, the
hey focus on football, make that be the main thing,
be the main thing completely.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Get that. We've said it many times up here. But
here's the.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Challenge, Rob, And I've learned this even in my middle
age of I'm older than the young folks, the breeze
of the world. But I'm younger than you, so I'm
kind of in this weird stage. I'm like big bro
almost unk kind of age. So just because you couldn't
doesn't mean you wouldn't. And what I mean by that

(09:38):
is a lot of us like to say, Man, these
kids breed and younger, always on Instagram, always on the podcast.
Well you couldn't. There was not access to it. I
don't know that LT wouldn't. Now the message is right,
let's get back to focus on football. Let's maybe lock
in more on that. I'm with it, but I do
think it's a little difficult to tell people, oh, you
shouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that when you didn't

(09:59):
have have access, because you know, I disagree with that.
But you can do that retro meeting. Now that I'm adult,
I understand the priorities and things that matter.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
No, because everybody's not doing it and that, and there
are players in his era right now who are focused
on no. No, they're not no, but most aren't doing Okay,
the majority, the biggest stars aren't doing it. I'm telling
you they aren't. Wait a minute, who's who you saying
Draymond Green, Aaron Rodgers, Draymond No, I'm talking about that

(10:31):
Aaron Rodgers. Is that the in the twilight of his career.
I'm talking about Lebron I'm talking abouting red Wine. Who
got the person who is the podcast was the coach. Now, okay,
the guys who are winning m v P all the guys.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Winning m v p s don't have a podcast. None
of them have a podcast.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Right, But okay, there you go at that level. I'm
just giving you. If you could give me a guy
who's won the MVP of the league and as a
podcasts popping every every week, then I would I'll be.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Quiet, I'm saying one. But I know he'll never be
an MVP though, because he's not a quarterback and so.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
All at top out. It's the truth. You know that.
You get my point. You think he's reached his potential.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
No, I'm no, no, No, you're missing what I'm I'm
not disagreeing that he shouldn't you and I have said that.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Focus on that, especially considering the content.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
If he had a Star Wars Hey, a Star Trek
podcast where I geek out over Star Trek at Star Wars,
I get that okay.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Cool.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
His actually becomes detrimental to the team because he says
Dak Prescott he didn't put him in his top ten quarterback.
He talks about Mike McCarthy, he can go on, it's
all about the players. He talks about his own dag
on contract. Oh man, I want to be here, only
I'll take less money, So I'm not disagreed with what
I'm Can.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
You imagine if if Lamar Jackson had a podcast no
I'm serious and and didn't winning the playoffs so kept
getting knocked out or Josh Allen or any of those
people out of podcasts, they would be torched.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
I know, but I would say that's who are.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Far fetched though, the way we're we are now players
they kep they have access to this, so they feel
like I have to do it. So my only thing
too is last thing with LT you mentioned it at
the time. I don't know who had more distractions in
the eighties than LT. LT was in not them streets,
them streets. He was in them streets. But that's different. Yeah,

(12:22):
that's different because.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
He had an addiction and and he had an addiction,
but he got okay. But I don't look at that
as as as volunteer to do a podcast.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
He was during the season streets.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Yeah, but he was in the streets all the time
and had nothing to do with football, so he had
an addiction to do a podcast during football season, or
Joymond Green during the NBA finals. I just you're not
winning every year, You're not getting to me. It's a distraction.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Distraction.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
What I'm saying is there's always going to be a distraction.
The entire NBA almost got shut down because they were
in them streetsies, hanging out, club and party not taking
it seriously. You got to the eighties, you know what.
You know what the Mets were doing, you know what,
But gudes, we're doing in the streets. So what I'm saying, games,
I don't look at it. If it's a podcast, if

(13:12):
it's cocaine and parties and girls, there's there's always gonna
be these distractions, except podcasts is something where you're publicly
you know, I'm I'm out here putting myself out here
on my YouTube page of my podcast. The issue what
we're having right now is young people have access to everything,
and they have FOMO.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
They feel like, why do I have to miss out?

Speaker 4 (13:32):
I can be a WNBA Star Angelies and have a
podcast and do modeling and show up to the met Gala.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
I can do all that.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Micah Parsons can be an all pro lining and also
be a podcast holder.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
They feel like, why can't I? This is the era?
Why can't you?

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Because your team can't win a playoff game and your
team at the defense that you play on gave up
forty points in the playoffs, gave up forty or more
points the first three home games of the year. Like
that is the reason we know this. If you play well,
it erases everything. You could do whatever you want. But
when you're not getting those kind of results, I'm just saying,

(14:09):
you open yourself up. Paul or nobody, Nobody pull George's career. Seriously,
that's a shame of podcast all the time, and that
that's a shame of it. That's what I mean when
who looks at Paul George as a serious basketball player?

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Now that so my point is very clear. Everybody podcasts
are washed up. They're done, they're retired, they're washed up.
Those are the people with the podcast. Trey Young, he's
got one, He's all up on it.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
It's almost like.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
He's out of you playing the podcast is playing talking
for you.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
That's the problem. So they need to relax with the podcast.
I'm with you, but they're not, is my point?

Speaker 3 (14:48):
All right?

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Eight seven, seventh ninety nine on the Fuck you See,
I'm already fired up on this Worship Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
You need deliveries. Looking at it a reeks right there.
McDonald's she got her own McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
That there's nothing you could take your time and do
on the off season and do whatever you want. I
just say you can't do one in the off season.
I'm not that rigel. I'm talking about with you during
the season. They are eight seven seven Everything now ninety
nine on Fox eight seven, seven nine nine six sixty three.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
They want to Rob, did lt deliver the right message?

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Or no?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Is he wrong?

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Is the old school ancient doesn't know what he's talking about?

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Where are you on this? He's still scared?

Speaker 1 (15:26):
It is the Odd Couple right here on Fox Sports

What's l a Sports Dodgers pre game.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Host Tim on Twitter? What's up? Tim? What's up? Tim?

Speaker 5 (16:08):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Guys?

Speaker 5 (16:10):
Kelvin? I'm actually I think I'm standing in you're changing
room here at Spectrum of Sports. Oh you're spect Sports Water,
Spectrum one News.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Yeah, I'm over here in.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Alsagundo, California and getting ready to do some Access Sports
Net Dodgers on TV. And I just saw your nameplate,
your fan the name plate.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Yeah, don't don't knock over his lift shoes that he wears.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
On his Hey sorting right now. The color of shirts
is interesting that you have here at Kelvin.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Tim, Tim might keep my business. I'll keep that between
me and you. Hey, do you even know what man
had that many pink shows?

Speaker 4 (16:46):
I do have pictures and look you see my if
you look up, you see the tie rack with all
the squares of ties. You can take a time, and
I'm on the left side. You can take a time
if you need one, too. Big game, James, James Worthy
always takes a time from me. Shot the big game, James.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Let's get to the Dodgers. Tell me rusting right now.
We have were talking about it that he's in the building. Well,
first of all, I'm gonna say this, Tim Kate.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Somebody on social media was like, man, we're gonna hear
from Tim Kates. Haven't heard from him since Tony Bruno.
Tony Bruno days.

Speaker 5 (17:12):
Yeah, I was in twenty for three years and almost
three years at Fox Sports Radio Into the Night with
Tony Brunos seven pm to ten pm Pacific Standard time
every night Monday through Friday, and then at a lot
of good times there in the old Sherman Oak Studios.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
Man, all right, well we'll shoot gotta have you on
right now, man, Today this is game one with the
Dodgers spring training this last season. I was there out
there and it was obviously show hail Tony, and it
was just ridiculous how many people came from literally all
around the world.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
This year.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
The big thing was a couple of days ago getting
to see him pitch out there.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
What was that like? What had you guys been kind
of reporting on him?

Speaker 5 (17:51):
Me?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Think what did he throw? Like fifteen to twenty pitches?

Speaker 5 (17:54):
He threw twenty two pitches today, the splitter and the fastball,
and he was surrounded by at least seventy five maybe
one hundred for front office, coaching staff, players, Dodger personnel
all gathered around hind Hoolme play watching Sasaki pitch, and
it was a spectacle to see all the media attention
is out there. You know, Kevin, you mentioned it with

(18:16):
with with Otani, it's one thing, and now you've got
three Japanese superstars on a South Korean second baseman. Is
it is at an all time level. I've never seen
anything like the media attention that the Dodgers are getting
right now. And for Sinsaki, he is all the focus
because they went out and they won him in that
bidding contest in essence to have him. Simon's a free

(18:36):
agent and they're expecting a lot out of into this rotation.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Tim, I hate to be the bearer of bad news
here we go, but I'm going to be on the
record to say the Dodgers will not win the World.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
You should have stayed on the record last night. Tim.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
He picked Tim, he picked the Dodgers to win, but
his hate came out too much and he swisses picking
the Dodgers.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
One but Tim, I'm saying this, and you know baseball
teams don't repeat, And I know, paper you could talk
about all you want, Tim, what was the last time
a team repeated in Major League Baseball?

Speaker 5 (19:04):
The Yankees in the late nineties, two thousand. That's a
different rop.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
This is different twenty five years ago, twenty five years ago,
and one more, Tim Kates and them.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
I'll let you go. Let you tell me why I'm wrong.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
The last National League team to repeat, do you know
what the team that was?

Speaker 3 (19:24):
That would be.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
The Cincinnati Regis.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Yeah, there you go, nineteen seventy five, seventy six, and
I know one paper, they're loaded, Tim, They're not going
to repeat.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Go ahead, tell me why I'm wrong.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
Here's why you're wrong, because teams coming back that next
year have a hangover. They got maybe the same roster.
Maybe they don't have this good rosters they did the
year before. Maybe they caught lightning in a bottle and
had a good October. The Dodgers have more talent this year,
doubled the counts than they had a year ago because
they got guys back from injuries. I remember they were
down to one and a half starters in October. They

(19:58):
were in a World Series. They almost swim up from
the Yankees with one and a half starters and all
bullpen relievers pitching their lights out in October. Now you
have all the starting pitching guys coming back from injuries.
The free agent market, you were really good at going
and bolsting your bullpen and bringing in guys who combined
from a sixty staves a year ago in Kirby Yates
and Tanner Scott to go along with the bullpen that

(20:19):
you break pretty much brought back everybody besides Daniel Hudson.
This team is stacked. Rob They can have five, six,
seven injuries. Knock on what that doesn't happen.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
It's not just the injuries. People might not perform the
way that they did. I mean, Tim Kate, I hear you.
But this is also the team that a couple of
years ago, Mookie Bets and Freddie Freeman have one hit
in a postseason series.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Correct, correct?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Okay, so I'm just saying yes on paper, doesn't mean
it translates in the postseason. Doesn't mean you can't have
a bad ten days or a week or a bad start,
Tim Kates, That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Are they gonna win a lot of games? Yes? Are
they gonna win the West? Yes? Do I expect him
to get to the NLCS or the Chance out of
the World, Yes, I do. But he done it?

Speaker 1 (21:07):
But does it mean but doesn't mean that it all
works out? And you never know? If Freddie Freeman had
an infield pop up, that World Series could have been
a totally different ball game.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Would you agree with that? No?

Speaker 5 (21:18):
Maybe Freddie Freeman's one hundred percent and he gets a
lot better than he did.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
He can't hit any better than that. He can't hit
any better than that. You know that, Tim Kakes.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
You see timv and not even put any respect the
World Series. Ring hasn't even lost his shine yet, He's
already doing it.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Who is gonna beat them in a seven game series?

Speaker 3 (21:34):
I'm gonna pick the Padres this year.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
The Padres are gonna be sellers of the deadline.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Okay, I just I'm just giving you who I'm picking.
I'm picking the Padre howld out a thing there? They
were three to one against the Dodgers and blew it
last year, but they had the Dodgers down.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
Do you remember the home run.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
They had Dodgers Stadium and the game that they looked
like it was all wrapped up and they choked, but
they were right in it.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Don't do it?

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Why what don't you like about the Dodgers? I wouldn't
say that what did know? But on paper I didn't
say that. That's not how it's won. And that's what
I'm trying to say that to you. Why can't it
happen again? Though it's hard, but it's been twenty five we're.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Due, okay, right, and then we're due this.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Remember the conversation, Tim Kate, I remember you picking the Dodgers,
and then you should have stuck with your pick.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Because you know what Tim said it they had one
and a half starters and that if you looking at baseball, Tim,
I was right to make a change because they didn't
have the pitching and that's what I thought would be there.
Uh do the me in But somehow it worked out
now this year to have all the pitching, but maybe
they don't perform in the big game.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
That's all to Tim Kates.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
I guess the Padres fell apart, and they were healthy
in that series against the Dodgers. They weren't missing superstars.
They were healthy in their rotation.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
So the way you're talking, Tim, they're gonna win one
hundred and forty of the one sixty two. They're gonna
beat everybody, sweep everybody in every series. And we shouldn't
even watch because the Dodger are gonna win the World Series,
no ifans or buds is what you're telling you.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
What we realize is the regular season doesn't mean as
much in any sport now because so many teams given
the postseason, so one Dodgers getting into the Tournament of October.
They're so deep and so talented. There's no team that
can beat them in a seven game series.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
There's no there's there's no there's no way you can
say that. You can't say that.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Well, but if it's three to three, it could be
that's the one game that they lose, or show he
has a bad night at the play, or it hits
the ball on the screws and they make turn a
triple play, or they get a no hitter from the
other pitcher.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
It's baseball. Tim. You can't sit there and say that
there's no way that they're not gonna that they're gonna
win for sure. Come on, man, you know better than that.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
I'm I'm they have the best chance.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
They're gonna win. They're gonna win. It's it's done. That's
what you're saying. Okay, I'm saying they're not. I'm taking
the field. Okay, stand on business, Tim, Game World Series.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
Yes, any team can win. Something can happen. Aaron Judge
can drive, drop a fly ball. Yeah. The fact this
is a seven game series and there is no team
in baseball that's got the pitching nor the talent that
for seven games.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Hey, could could be bad. Tim. I'll see you at
the parade.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
Man.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Don't worry about it, man, I'll see you.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Tim.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
He always.

Speaker 7 (24:18):
Hey.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
You know what, Hey, Tim, he can't even get a
hot dog or one of those old pretzels.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
He likes to take some dons. They gonna tell get out.
You don't get none of.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
These, man, Hey, wi some more onions for me for
that hot dogs?

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Tim?

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Appreciate you man, all right, that's Tim k t A
M five seventy other sports. Dodgers pre game host Tim
Guy was gonna ask about some other stuff, but you
just want to believe it or not stick on the Dodgers.

it out?

Speaker 4 (25:37):
All right, Rob, we talked about this yesterday, the NFL
expected to at some point sign a deal at some
point in the next couple of years with Netflix that
would have them have Sunday packages of NFL games. So
that got me thinking about streaming free Martin Shay, Alex, Rob,
one's gotta go of some of the top stream you

(26:00):
mean services. You have Disney Plus, Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime,
and Peacock.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Wait a minute, isn't there another one you'd left out? Oh?
Never mind, go ahead, something out of? Go ahead?

Speaker 8 (26:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (26:19):
What are you saying, Rob, go ahead? You got a
foot in there or something? Stop it. We're not doing that.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
So, there you have it.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
There are your options, Disney Plus, Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock. Bree,
you're making faces. You're struggling over there. You think you know,
but then you are so easy? Okay, start with you, Alex, Yeah, Disney,
Disney Plus, yeah, easiest.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Want to let go of? Now you do know you're
gonna lose Hulu. That's fine. They both have terrible stuff.
Oh wait a minute, I can't have Hulu or Disney
pluses and they don't bundle themselves up. What you want
from me? Said, I guess, so I.

Speaker 8 (26:58):
Don't have any goods at Home. So Disney Yeah right,
Rob Star Wars and it sucks. Now, that's surprised. But
as much as you so easy, I get that that
makes sense and it doesn't kids. I do have kids,
you know that ain't going nowhere. That's that's a life
saver for me. For me, Disney Plus up out of
here ready, Yeah, dude, like like.

Speaker 7 (27:16):
The other if you don't have kids, there's no the
only the only time, and seriously, in the last six months,
I want to search for Disney Plus is because I
was trying to watch Home alone Christmas.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
That's it. Okay. I was going to say Disney Plus.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
I don't work with a bunch of nerds at the Spectrum. No,
not you guys, No, no, no, I said Spectrum my
earlier job.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
I was going to say Peacock. But I feel like
the now, like more games are happening on there, like
the NFL, like was on Peacock last year.

Speaker 6 (27:42):
Yeah, so I'm going to go Disney Plus because I
didn't really care the Mandalorian fell off and I was
like the only.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Thing I'll sit around when my Spectrum, the earlier job,
there's a bunch of nerd talk, like you know, this
this Star Wars. This is the Star Treks to the
Star Wars and the Mandolar and Avengers. So all the
you know, Avengers and all them, all that Marvel stuff
is on theirs. Which that's why I'm shocking a lot
of people.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
You know, they left. They love to watch all the
Ironman and all that. Kelvin, I went to go see, uh,
the end Game.

Speaker 9 (28:07):
I believe it was the last blowouts, right, And I
looked and I was in the movies, And now I
was ten o'clock in the morning local time.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
I had an early job.

Speaker 9 (28:15):
You know how that goes, do I look over to
my left, to look over to my right when one
prominent superhero dies in the film, two grown men, both
my age, crying, shobbing, sling, stop and I was, and
I said, at that moment, you know what, I got
enough things I'm manical about.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
I don't need this too. But Martin Soldan, you think
you slick? It was the end game. It was the
last one. See it was easy to do that. You
jumped out there crying like their teen just won a chance,
lost the championship.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Why Martin, why in the world would you call out
Skip and Shatt and we're sitting next to you. I
can't believe. I can't believe. Ah Man did man dance?

Speaker 10 (28:53):
Skip skill Man skip iron Man died, But did he
really mean it? When he have some courage in your conviction?
Skip Ski, You ain't gonna do that. He did, He
to go, He to go of all evengels. Okay, we're
not gonna do that right now?

Speaker 3 (29:05):
How we get all that? Ice said?

Speaker 5 (29:06):
All right?

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Man died, but he's on Superman.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
First of all, I die Man, I pump all the
iron around here? Skip skip all right? So wait, who
robbed Disney plus? Disney plus Shade?

Speaker 3 (29:15):
What was yours? You know, if you don't have a.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
Micro jump on the mic real quick, Peacock, I don't
have peacock. Disney is lion king like Hulu. It's a
bunch of animate shows on Hulu too. You're not tripping,
thank you? Really, compared to Disney Plus, you're one hundred
percent of Peacock.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Thank you. The lesson that we all just learned to
Shade needs to grow up. Don't do it like that
on the seat. Hey man twenty five, y'all just jealous?

Speaker 4 (29:37):
There you go, we are jealous? You know well, I
mean you still get your twenty five action. Just you
know we still you still five year olds. You put
two shades together. Rob still got to you know what,
you know.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
What he just did too.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
He just asked it, all right, Dan, So they like
Chisney Plus to twenty five, let me get my Disney
Plus back.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
You just want to take you want to change your answer? Rob? No, no, no, no,
we don't watching any Disney Plus anyway. If she asked
for Disney Plus, she gotta go, yeah, well no, that
might be right up.

Speaker 9 (30:05):
Actually Rob's used to that's one thing that the new technology.
Rob was used to screaming streaming subscriptions. He's had those
for like last twenty years, right about that. That's what
you said, dot com behind Yeah, he said, he said
we left one out. That's what he was talking about.
I'm going on, he said, peacock, Shay. I'm with you, Shay.
You know what what else was lefting?

Speaker 3 (30:23):
I know I'm not doing it.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
I know what you're gonna is a part of someone's body,
and it's the lower extremity. I know what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
Peacock.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
For me, Peacock can prove be gone as well. Disney Plus.
You know what I mean, it's just somebody asked to go.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Is that one for me? Number three called away,
