Speaker 1 (02:10):
Saga soccer. You don't have to tolerate this, saga. Saga
cough twice if you if you want help, cough twice.
And there's just you know, these bills ain't gonna pay themselves.
I guess I gotta take it.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
All right. You could go ahead and I see your little.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Tom, I don't be doing that. No, no, say what
you gotta say. All I'm gonna say about what I'm
about to say. All I'm gonna say is you could
poop poo it all you want. They they did what
they were supposed to do. And here's the other thing.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
For all your anti Aaron Rodgers, and it doesn't matter
and all that he actually was ten and five as
a starting quarterback because there were two games he did
not play that they lost. And if you look at
what he was able to accomplish with the Steelers, which
is and this that's the reason I said that they
waited on him. And you can see read all the stories.

(03:03):
This is what they were waiting for, somebody who can
play quarterback.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
And let's hear Mike Tomlin on Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
You married him from afar for a long time. It's
good to do it with him. But again, as I've
said multiple times here in recent weeks, this was the
vision in the spring when we pursued him. That's why
you do business with a forty one, forty two year
old guy. Been there, done that, guy with a resume
like his. He's not only capable man, he thrives in it.
And I think he put that on display tonight.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
And this made total sense to me all year. I
understood it. I told you before. It's been so long
since they won a postseason game, and I know they
have the Texans and have a really good defense.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
You already go ahead, he already ready. I'm just saying
you ready to make a bet onlady on that okay,
because I saw the way you rolled your eyes. But anyway,
now all of a sudden, he's a Texan guy.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
You could go ahead and ride that pony all you
all you want.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
But my bottom line is again, Aaron Rodgers came to
Pittsburgh and got it done what they needed him to do.
Ten wins in fifteen games is pretty impressive. And what
he did last night as a forty two year old
without DK, without your number one receiver, without a running game.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Did you see the guys he was throwing.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Two most of them right, most of them didn't even
have over ten catches from Aaron Rodgers. Most of them,
I think the only guy was Austin had like twenty three. Yeah,
did you see that graphic? It was incredible. Most guys
at eight or six passes. So, I mean, you can
talk about whatever you want to talk about. I think
the Stealers did what they needed to do and now

(04:43):
it's off to going to the postseason. A home game
by winning the division. And don't forget last year they
got stomped.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
By the Ravens in the playoffs. So the difference. First off,
let me do this. Oh you got something for the man. Listen,
I pay up my debts number one that listen. You
see that see that YouTube? Now I watched this YouTube.
I also admit when you're right, you don't do walk
with me. You don't admit what I'm right. Buffalo wild Ways, Yes,

(05:12):
dold on't. No, maybe he don't. Hey, don't get too
caried of the way. They ain't sponsoring us.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
You know what I mean? Buffalo who you want to
sponsor your boys? We sit right here. No, I got you.
I pay him the debt. Here's what Here's here's let's
start with the bet. Right there.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
I said they went nine, you said they went ten.
I was a game off. So there that is honoring that.
Here's where I still stand on what I've said. Mike
Tomlin is reveling in mediocrity right now. Mike Tomlin is
excited that a kicker who had been twenty eight for
twenty eight from under fifty missed the field goal at
the end that would have had him at nine and eight,

(05:46):
which would have had him out the postseason, and we
would have been having conversations as we had beforehand.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
You've sat here, now we're gonna do it. We're gonna
do that. You sat here. Should have missed it. He
should have made the kick, and they would have looked, Okay.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
What you maybe not go this literally should have happened.
You did, You should have extra missport extra, Yes, miss
the point. So we go to overtime to go that. Well,
I'm not saying if you want to go on. So
where I'm going is you yourself? Have even questioned Mike Tomlin,
right fair because they got to do.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
More, said they would have lost. I would have been
the loudest guy in the row. So again, should have
been a game that many would say they should have lost.
They don't. They they win.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Credit them, but the game they should have lost doesn't
change the like that I do. The fact that it
doesn't change that the mediocrity they revel in. And so
now they're exactly. My whole point of the whole conversation
we were having last off season as they were courting him,
was that they're gonna look the same.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
They're ten and seven, just like they were ten and
seven with him. Come on, and I really mean this. No,
let me tell you what. Listen, I'm being an honest fan.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Man.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
You the whole point of this lost their last five
last year. It's not the same man.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
So they lost to they lost two games, then they won,
then they lost three games, so they lost five of
six earlier in this season, They've done the same, Earthy finished.
So what I'm saying, And listen, Aaron Rodgers did what
he was supposed to do. Because I was ready to
come on here had they lost, not bashed Aaron Rodgers.
I was going to bash DK Metcalf for screwing his
team over and not being there for the last two game.

(07:18):
That's what I was prepared to do with if the
Steelers would have left, because Aaron Rodgers looked, he looked good.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
My issue is that they're ten and seven again and
now they have to.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Go up against what the Baltimore Ravens could not do
and even Chris collins Worth mentioned it. They could not
get pressure on Aaron Rodgers and that's exactly what the
Texans do. So my point is, are we going to
be sitting here and exactly well for eight days for us?
Because this Monday night, we'll have to do it the
next day.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
They lose to the.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Texans and we're sitting here again ten and seven.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
They beat the Texas, then what would you call I'm
just I mean, it's sincerely.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
I would be shocked if they beat detect Not that
the Texans are the eighty five Bears, not then that specifically,
that's the team that matches up worked like a bad matchup.
If they're for the Chargers and Steelers, I'll be like, oh, okay,
they got a little you know, hey, if this were
even such side matched up a team.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Got in Pittsburgh neutralize his team, they don't play outside
in the coal I'm it's not.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Even disagree with that.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
It's a different regular league that that's the team that
does exactly what you would you would not want if
you're Aaron Rodgers and Steelers. We don't want a team
that gets after the quarterback better than just about anybody
outside of maybe Denver. We don't want a team that
has guys all over fit one of the best back
defensive backs.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
That's what you don't want. So my whole point was
that they looked the same and.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
They're ten and seven and seven last year and they're
gonna be out and they average per game. You're hoping
it's not your rushing dollars a lesson, but I'm saying that,
how know?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
But how did they win?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
You picked the Ravens, But also my last point, oh yeah, yeah,
pick Ravens.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Pick the Ravens ought to go to the super Bowl,
So did you? But also picked all of them? Because
what did I tell you? Right? And we're gonna talk
about them? Did I know?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
We're saying we don't talk about that. And my last
point here to twenty seconds. They did this going back
to the miakary and you have to be who's in
front of you, but in a Joe Burrow list for
the most three quarters of the season, Bengals and Lamar
in and out of the lineup, Ravens he played us,
he did. But I'm saying in and out of the lineup,
meaning I'm saying, had they he been in, maybe they

(09:14):
win more. They're the division leaders by far, and so
my whole point is they sit here exactly at ten
and seven, which I look at it as a tough
out to beat the Texans, and we want and we're
gonna be sitting here having time.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
The Kommlins again, Ravens twice. I have to look at it.
I know they obviously see and they beat him twice.
They beat him twice, the Ravens.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
Rob Gee, we had some I guess history made yesterday
in the National Football League.

Speaker 7 (10:23):
Yes mean you guess. I guess that was history made.
They stopped the game to celebrated. That's how much history
was made. Miles Garrett pass Rusher Extraordinary out of Cleveland
is the new NFL single season sack king. That's right,
yesterday took down Joe Burrow in the fourth quarter of
a win by the way for Cleveland as they got

(10:45):
the w over Cincinnati. And he is now, if you
want to call Michael Strahand the sixteen game sack leader,
Miles Garrett now the seventeen game exactly.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I guess gotta I'm not.

Speaker 5 (10:56):
Miles Garrett is a tremendous player, but that's a Gaysey
Award and a food Gaysey.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Honor in that he had.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
He needed seventeen games to do what Michael Strahan did
in sixteen. So right away I got an issue with it.
I really do, stopping a game for that, and that
was the worst sack you could have. Joe Burrow took
two steps, fell down, and he just touched him like that.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
That was no sack.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
I know it was because it was behind a line
of scrimmage and you you know, if you touch him
he's down, you get credit for that. But it was
just so lame. And they're stopping for what that team
is like four and something like it's it's a moment,
but nobody knows. Nobody knows what the sack number is
or the all time sack king. This ain't like I

(11:46):
told Rob Genis earlier and you don't even have to
be a baseball When Cal Ripken, you know, played in
more consecutive games than Lou Garrick, Like that was a moment,
Like that was that was something I got over two
thousands of my games or whatever, you know what I
mean in that moment when Pete Rose had the all

(12:06):
time hit leader becoming that, or when Hank Aaron at
first and then Barry Bonds hit the all time home run.
But are we gonna stop the game for everything? And
then the NFL has fudged all of the records because
of adding games. Then you're gonna have an eighteen game
season in a couple of years, and then somebody will
have twenty four sacks and eighteen games.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Oh I'm the champ. It can't be based off of
that if you're going to.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Have a different number of games, and the thing that
always and you have to look at it and go
how many games did you play? Right, not how many
games did you play that season? How many games did
you play? And then it has to be based off
of something like that to make it consistent or legitimate.
I got no thrill out of it. To me, it

(12:56):
just was stinky. And if I put my hand on it.
I would have to wash it. It was a three
dollar bill celebration. To me, what are you doing on
a terrible Browns team where that's the end of the world.
That to stop the game, not that, not that he
can't be recognized or whatever. What are you stopping the
game for?

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Well, I tell you you ever heard of a sexist?
You ever heard of a racist? What about a sportsist?
You just set up here and told me all the
wonderful things baseball can do. Home run record, I'll tell
you record this record, Basebud, that's the must start sever
not abody would always hear about baseball, and you know
I like baseball. My point is, that's an amazing stat that, dude,

(13:37):
one singular person is getting that amount of sex not
a team, not a The Jets entire team couldn't get
one interception. So the man got twenty something sacks to
celebrate that, not to mention you talk about that way.
The way he did it, I agree, wasn't like he
laid him out and knocked his helmet off. But Joe
Burrow was gonna get sacked regardless. He ain't had nowhere

(13:58):
to go. He literally was squished in he had nowhere
to go, and he did a Tom Brady Payton man.
He made a business decision. Set of getting my head
knocked off, I'm gonna go ahead and have a seat.
Miles Garrett has been remarkable. He's been incredible. And then
he had somebody posted a picture of him at fourteen.
I need a birth certificate.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
You know.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
I used to joke about the Dominican players in the
Little League. He's a monster. Like, what the heck? That
didn't make it? He said Bob g We interviewed him, right,
was that last year or two years ago? It wasn't
with me?

Speaker 1 (14:22):
So I had there been two years ago? Yeah, I don't,
But I don't mind the celebration. They stop it with
rushing records. They stop it with Drew Brees and the
passing records. Uh, they stop it all the time when
it's a massive record in the NFL. Massive massive, that's
a big Okay, No, nobody wanted Nobody before this knew
what the record was. I just disagree. Is I just

(14:43):
think Michael Strahan it was a big because HEJ was.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Tied it three years ago. Do you remember the ceremony
for TJ. Won't give you that? No, you do not
giving you because they didn't even have a ceremony. That's
what I'm trying to They didn't have a ceremony. They
just they just why he tied the record? Why wouldn't
you Why wouldn't you have a ceremony for tea? Not
stop it? I don't know, I literally don't remember. Nobody
remembers that, Rob J.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Can you confirm and with TJ? Watt get a stoppage tie?
Oh well he tied. He ain't break it.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
What are you talking about? Broke it? He but he's
gotta break this. No, you don't. You gotta break it.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
His name is mentioned. He didn't break just he ain't
break it. He didn't break just the record, rob What
do you always talking about? Sports have two things of
the menu, wins and losses. He ain't break it.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
He tied it.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Don't nobody wants to ties TJ. Now back to what
I was saying, No, honestly, I don't mind. It's it's
a It's an incredible feed by in one singular individual,
like to get that many sacks. There's teams who probably
barely had that many sacks. And the worst part about
it for him is but it's his decision. We both
said it. You tell me it's about winning. You tell

(15:48):
me it's just time to move on. You tell me
you've had enough. You're giving you all to Cleveland. And
they finally saying, hold on, bit, here's the breaks truck.
And he said, you know what, I love clean.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Wanted to hear that. And now you're suffering. Your team
was five and twelve. He said, I don't want to
win so bad that your door can be the quarterback.
Don't do that. Don't do that. We'll talk to you
next year.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Right.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
But no, So I don't I don't mind a quick
little honoring and celebrating to me, I don't, I don't.
I don't mind it. These dudes work incredibly hard. It's
a it's a big deal. Something that didn't happen every year,
you know, so it didn't bother.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
I'm just we do that.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
So and so breaks the sport. They stopped the game,
and whatever, you'll stop the game. The Bengals were trying
to run a play right after that. Now you're gonna
play for y'all about to be in cant Coon in
two seconds. Hold on, let us enjoy this moment. Can't
Coon ain't going nowhere.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search f s
R to listen live.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
We talked about it, and I told you the reason
I wouldn't pick the Ravens on paper. They should have
won the game on paper, but you know that's not
how sports played. And I was like, what do we
talk about that? Always something goes wrong, some situation. If
you want to get up here and blame lamar, you
didn't watch the game, Okay, seriously, because you just can't

(17:14):
blame him. But in this case, with where they are,
I just don't know how John Harbor wasn't fired today.
I'm dead serious. He's been there too long. The season
ends on the same thing all the time, some misplay whatever,

(17:35):
and I get it.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
They go, well, how are you gonna blame a midfield
goal and the goach you're not kicking the field goal.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
But as we know, if he wins that game, coach
don't get credit if he makes that field goal, true
coach gets credited.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Harbor Ah.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Yeah, all year they scuffled and the coach got him
and rallied them to go on the road in Pittsburgh
and beat their rival. Oh my god, what a great
job he did. That's what would have happened. But the
bottom line is the Ravens are disappointing. This season started
with them scoring forty points in Buffalo and the opener

(18:17):
and losing the game. The way he coached down the stretch,
we talked about a timeout. They could have run another play,
at least write a timeout they had, and he's coaching
scared because he's afraid of Derrick Henry.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
I believe that. I believe that that's why they didn't
do it. Derrick Henry has fumbled this.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
You know, has been a fumbler, and he panicked instead
of saying, I gotta give it to my guy. Not
only could he rush and get ten yards or eight
yards and get us even closer for the field goal,
he might have broke through him winning. He's capable, right Listen.
He was a handful of yards away from having a
Russian record, So meaning this is what he does. Man, Listen,

(18:58):
you we argue, we yell, we go at each other.
This is one time win agreement. I've said this before
with you guys, Nothing ever is complete with the Ravens.
Lamar Jackson will ball out, likely will drop it, say
Flowers will fumble, Derek Henry that cat that likely, all

(19:21):
the mispasses, all the caught in the end zone, but
the ref said it wasn't a catch and all that
suff Mark Andrews two point played, two point conversion drop.
There's always something Lamar Jackson, maybe he the defense plays
good keys to it. Maybe he's a little off. Derrick
Henry fumbles there.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
They never can be complete, and you're always like, man,
if y'all could be complete, you might be the best
team in the NFL the last two or three years. Wise,
you got enough receivers, not saying you got Deamonte and
Pook out there, but you got enough receivers, two solid
to good tight ends, amazing running back, your quarterbacks, the
best player in the league, you know, the last couple
of years prior to this year, like it's there.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Defense, you got the guys on paper.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Now Hamilton going out, maybe that costs point is that's
the trouble with the Ravens. Year in year out. We
know this it comes down to a player two. And
we will give credit to the Chiefs. Last year they
won those games. They didn't win in this zion. You
talked about that. They won a lot of games last draw.
Remember that's what it comes down too oftentimes, and the

(20:25):
Ravens just something's always off with them.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
And to not run the ball.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
When you had two seconds, two timeouts with fourteen second
two to one, it was two, they had three. They
called the one after the catchy yeah, meaning they went
they left the game with one. No, that's what we're
not about to do. We're about to Hey, Dereck Henry,
use them all that stuff you did them, You followed
a couple of times. You know what, it is a
chance to make it for Go get me eight yards

(20:51):
up to God. So likely made up for some missus
and alas and whatnot.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
He made a great catch on fourth and seven, and
that ball dropped the seasons over right.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
There's no old way. They think we're getting ready to
run this RPO. They think we're gonna just hand it
to Derek Henry of the gun. Go do an r PO, breakout,
all side, slide down, call a timeout to you have
two timeouts. Don't put all the pressure on a rookie kicker.
By the way, kicker, this ain't just a regular game.
You miss it, we don't go to the playoffs. But
by the way, all the pressures on you, how about

(21:22):
this one hundred and fifty something plus yards for Derrick
Henry first half five carries, the second half rock What
happened against the was a the Bengals, I'm sorry the
Chiefs on them.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
They just always are not on point. And when they
lost to the Chiefs in the AFC, Chips didn't run anymore,
didn't run the ball. You remember that. That's what.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
It's always something with them, and it is time to
explore new options. A lot of people are saying, man,
trying to look at Lamar the cap hitting on seventy five.
They're gonna work that deal out. They're gonna work it
out with him. He wants to let me tell you
what I ain't doing. I'm not getting the guy who's
been the best player arguably for two to three years,
who had an off season for sure in and out
of the lineup. How WANs to let that man go

(22:06):
twenty eight years old. I don't give a dang. We
ain't letting him go. So if some change, are you
kidding me?

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Rush?

Speaker 5 (22:14):
I know it would be It would be illogical if
I got to pick between the two.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
And it's not even I'm not even thinking about a
thirty four or something. We had a good ten twelve. Okay,
maybe jud he's twenty eight. You saw what he can
do now, Lamar. The only thing I will say to him,
I don't know. And I mean it's sincerely Robert talking
robb G about this. Maybe you can tell me. I
want you to tell me. Dubb said, Cal you're going
low overboard. You're going overboard?

Speaker 3 (22:39):
All right? No, wait, at least let me get it out. Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
I wonder if times if Lamar Jackson still has PTSD
from the He's not a quarterback. He's just an athlete.
He's a this and he wants to prove that I'm
a quarterback. Maybe it's just because he's banged up this season,
but there are a paandful of plays in the last
few games that he has played where he's not running.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
See how there's an opportunity.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Where you're like this is weird, Like oh that's right there,
go pick up that third and he's not running and
he's kind of overthinking, and I'm like, dude, drop back,
ain't nothing new you out, this is what made you
spectaculars has made you dangerous, made you the two time MVP,
And I did see a few plays. I was texting
you guys, text and Rob G like, I don't know
if again, if it's that in the back like Jalen
Hurts doesn't really run anymore.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
I don't know if in the back of her heads.
And I'm just being real, you tell me.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Sometimes the black quarterback all they're just athletes, they're not quarterbacks.
They're not this, And I don't know if that plays
in her heads at times, you know, and they just
want to prove it that I can throw this thing.
When it's like, dude, this is a dual threat quarterback
league period, White Black, Polynesian samoing, it don't matter.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Can you can you go get me some yards? And
I see some players where I'm like, this is weird, Lamar,
are you you be out? And he's like, I don't
think it's the proving part. Because maybe that's why I said,
maybe I'm overthinking.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
Because he's won two MVPs and all and he got
on All Pro without the MVP that so he really
almost had three MVPs. But my point is, I just
think it's not that I think he was injured. I
think he had a back injury. And rob G even
pointed out, I know he said that even last year
I think he had did he have eight hundred yards?

Speaker 7 (24:17):
Rob G?

Speaker 3 (24:17):
What was the number?

Speaker 1 (24:18):
He had?

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Nine hundred and fifteen rush?

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Ye?

Speaker 3 (24:20):
Yeh fifteen last year and this year what was the number? Three?
Forty nine? So then the big thing is his attempts
is less than half and he how many games he missed?

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Four games he played thirteen games, sixty seven attempts. Last
year he played seventeen games at one hundred and thirty
nine rushing.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
Yeah, so there's a there's a degree. Yeah, just I'll
agree that he doesn't run as much. He's like, it's
but it's there. That's the thing. It's not like he's
I'm not saying force it.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
I'm saying, oh, you're subconscious of seeing Lamar you go,
oh he's about to break out. Oh he'sou Wait what
is he? And he's like running sideways and he's like,
call you Lamar go. And that's why we had that
conversation about Lamar is clearly faster than Josh Allen. He's
more agile than the Josh Allen. But I was saying,
Josh Allen at the end of it, his is more productive,

(25:05):
Like it leads to something, it leads to a first down,
it leads to a gazillion touchdowns at this point, and like, Lamar,
that's what makes you amazing, Like use that, and I
just he's like overthinking that. But that that just just
me looking at Lamar, like I want you to get
like be you, be own it be great. That's what
makes you the best player or you know, arguably one

(25:25):
or two in the league. And I'm seeing him like
what is he's like running sideways kind of not just
like he's not breaking out to do what he does
right now. That would be my one thing. I looked
at the last couple of games and last time in particular,
in a winner dual, do or die game, there's a
few times in the first half of oh, he's about
like he's easily running, that's what Lamar does.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
And then I'm like, and then he doesn't do it.
It's a little weird. That's a little weird.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
He's not that a few times, and I don't know.
I mean, like I said, the the numbers bear it
out that he isn't running as much. And I don't
know if he's also been banged up. And you know
when you talk about a back or whatever, and you're
trying to get out there and play, and you don't
want to, like, you know, put yourself in harm's way.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Once you become a runner, you know they can get
they can get hit. And so what did you not
see me play in high school? Did you not see
me play in college? This is who I am as
football dash Jackson Dart. Okay, this is what it is.
I was like, Okay, it's football.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
You're not watching me on the Giants, So I'm thinking
about looking at another quarterbacks football Rob crazy all.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Right, But yeah, John Harriball, he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
He doesn't make you feel confident when the game is
on the line, and it's happened too often and the
team doesn't And part of that's a reflection of the coach,
Rob right, where you don't feel like they can close
this deal. At a certain point, we started looking at
the coach looking at the sideline like they're a reflection
of you.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
Rob g jump in.

Speaker 7 (26:49):
I got a big question for you guys, because coming
into the season, both of y'all had your chest all
puffed out like you were peacocking around the studios that
this was the year for the ball.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Some more Ravens.

Speaker 7 (27:01):
They got all these players, they they've they've warned their
playoff scars.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
You know, they've been through it. This is the year
they break through.

Speaker 7 (27:08):
In fact, coming into the season, the Baltimore Ravens, I
knows it sound like a lot, but in football terms,
had a thirteen percent chance of winning the Super Bowl
according to the ods makers. Unless you are returning champion,
that is a huge number on us.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
That's a big number in football. That it's not the
NBA football. That's a huge number. And a lot of
people picked them. Yes, for sure.

Speaker 7 (27:26):
And to your point, Lamar Jackson got banged up all season.
The defense was non existent for the first month, and
they finally got it together later.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
Don't forget that the first game was the right you
know where they score forty on the road and lose that.

Speaker 7 (27:41):
They had some really inexplicable losses, you know, Derreck Henry,
a couple of fumbles won against the Lions, once against
the Buffalo Zay Flowers had inexplicable like Isaiah Likely going
to the aenzone, drops the ball. All that stuff went
wrong and they were a forty four yard field goal
away from making the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Winning the divisures.

Speaker 7 (28:01):
So hy, then are you so quick to jump off
the bandwagon when all that stuff went sideways and you
still believe in the talent, you still believing, Lamar Jackson,
are you so ready to tear it all down?

Speaker 3 (28:10):
I know I was gonna say, I know, I have
my answer. Well, it's a combination. I'm just I think
the coach you need to get a new voice.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
It has been too long, and you haven't keep thinking
something's gonna change, because you just bring it back next year.
Oh yeah, just like you keep doing that and then
here you go, you're ten years later and nothing's happened.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
So that's the scary part.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
And number two, the defense let them down again and
the touchdown dB fell down.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Whatever you know whatever.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
But I'm just saying, no, this is what this is
what we've been talking about all year with their defense,
and they had how many games did they give up
at the end in the fourth quarter?

Speaker 3 (28:52):
A ton?

Speaker 1 (28:53):
And my thing, rob G is I can't keep going Lamar,
Derrick Henry, whatever it may be, is so great. That
will be eleven and you know six, we'll be twelve
and five. But when I needed, we don't feel right.
We're always something on, We've got penalties, we got dry.
It's like the mojo, the ethos of the team is
never right. And that is a reflection of the coach.

(29:15):
And at some point I need somebody that can make
us feel calm, make us feel confident, make us feel
like we know what we're doing. And part of that
is Lamar find a way at times in the playoffs.
I will give you that. I'll be the first admit that.
But also part of it is a coach where this
team none of us feel confident. Do you feel confident
if I told you they had to go win this
close game against the Bills of the Patriots, or say
the Chiefs were in there again.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Do you no, you feel like something's gonna go wrong.

Speaker 5 (29:39):
Rod Jay, I didn't feel good for them to go
to Pittsburgh and win that game. They blew Pittsburgh gay,
and they should you should be like, oh, they got
this to your point.

Speaker 7 (29:47):
You know I'm playing Devil's out of you, but to
your point yesterday, here's the stats, third down Baltimore four
of twelve. Okay, Aaron Rodgers is eighty seven years old, right,
Why on earth was he only sacked twice and Lamar
Jackson was sacked three times?

Speaker 3 (30:02):
That's what I'm saying. Penalties double for the Baltimore races.
Stupid penalties. Time of Does that look like coaching? I
had it for almost nine minutes, longer than Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
And he's and he's a he's a really good coach,
not saying he's like get him out and he sucks
more So, to your point, is it a voice change?

Speaker 3 (30:19):
And is it a confidence? Is it somebody else?

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Is there a Ben Johnson like guy, if you will,
who would say no, no, no, you got him right there.
This is that missing little thing that I would do
to seal the deal with the talent like Lamar Jackson
