Rob and Kelvin debate whether the recent anti-Caleb Williams sentiment coming from NFL coaches, players, and executives is more of a personal or professional criticism, and argue whether Shedeur Sanders' superstar status should be enough to propel him to the top of the Cleveland Browns quarterback race. Plus, former Odd Couple co-host Chris Broussard swings by to defend Shedeur's standing in the Browns organization against Rob Parker and Super Producer Rob G.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
You're listening to the Best of the Odd Couple.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Nobody seems to be a fan of the former number one.
What would you call him? The generational prospect that is
Caleb Williams. First, we had the athletic tier come out
yesterday and he was ranked at the Tier three quarterback.
Something met him in the Tier four quarterback, which says
a lot, But all of the criticism basically said some
variation of the same thing. You had an anonymous defensive

(00:51):
coordinator says quote. In terms of processing ability and getting
the ball at his hands, it was the worst we
played against.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Anonymous head coach says quote.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
His process, I seek to me was alarming watching the
tape and in fact, if you don't believe these anonymous
gms and coaches, former All Pro left tackle to Ron
Armstead was at the joint practice between the Dolphins and
the Bears last week said yes because he retired and
he put his name on it.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Take a listener.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Caleb's process playing that quarterback position has to improve fast,
and pretty fast. In my opinion, on a consistent basis,
Caleb was not able to recognize where he was in danger.
He wasn't feeling pressure, he wasn't feeling blitzes. He wasn't
seeing blitzes and threats.

Speaker 6 (01:39):
Pre singaput.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Anthony Weaver, the Dolphins defensive coordinator, was able to send
guys from all different spots on the field and man,
a lot of those got home. A lot of those
would have been sacks.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
All right, I'm just gonna say it. I'm gonna say
I'll say the quiet part out loud. This is just
an anti Caleb Williams. They've never really liked Caleb Williams
from this standpoint of he paints his nails.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
He cried towards mom in the stands. He's a different
kind of guy. Wanted a piece of the Bears. He
didn't want to go to all the other stuff that
came out, And there are a lot of people who
just don't like the guy. Last year he had a
fine rookie season, and it's funny other people get a
chance to develop and get better. Peyton Manning threw thirty

(02:31):
interceptions his first year. Nobody threw the toweling on him.
Nobody said he holds the ball too long, or he
doesn't know what he's doing with it, or he can't
weed defenses. They allowed him to progress. And last year, Kelvin,
they were at least three games where he marched his
team down, gave them the go ahead touchdown, and then

(02:52):
the defense gave it back up.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
You remember, including that hail Mary to Washington.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
You remember that game he had actually taken his team
down and they scored a touchdown to go up in front,
and he had one of his dbs or safeties who
was flexing to the crowd when the hail Mary came in.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
And I'm not saying.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
He's a finished product or he's gonna be the best
quarterback in the league or whatever.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
I just the noise to me.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
With a new coach and a new coordinator, and people
gonna give Justin Fields eight chances, right, three teams and
three Oh yeah, look at Justin Fields, and here he is.
He had twenty touchdowns, six picks and too many sacks,
and they need to protect him better. He needs to
be more aware. I'm not saying that he doesn't need

(03:38):
to make some changes, but this fire Alarmer on Caleb
william I think is just. I think it's personal, to
be honest.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
I'm addressed that personal a minute.

Speaker 7 (03:48):
And Rob G you're saying they're not a fan of him.

Speaker 6 (03:51):
I think the term is concerned.

Speaker 7 (03:54):
So, Rob, this is gonna happen when you're the top
prospect since Andrew Luck. You're the suing, you're the one
everybody says that's the guy that can miss. You're the
number one pick, you're a Heisman Trophy winner, and these things,
these conversations are gonna happen.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
And I think he's getting some of that.

Speaker 7 (04:11):
He's getting some smoke or some added extra sauce that
people felt they should have been given to Trevor Lawrence.
So I think he's getting some. Well, I should have
been on Trevor Lawrence a little harder. Let me make
sure I'm on Kayleb Williams a little hard. But all
of this comes with when you're the number one pick,
the Heisman Trophy winner, and now let's add to it,
you do have to add context if the same thing
that has been a concern for him coming out of

(04:33):
college into his rookie campaign, into his training camp this year.
Mind you, he's got Ben Johnson, the offensive guru. This
is why people are ringing the alarm and they're saying, hey, hey,
something they looking right. When you have to have your
first teamers pulled off the field early, just something we
hardly ever hear happens because he wasn't getting them out

(04:54):
of huddle. He's been We've been hearing more and more
of reports about he can't break the huddle, fast en up,
they got a burn timeouts, they're getting fl flags from
a delay of games. These are concerns now we heard
about him. But because he was Superman of the worldly,
he was able to escape these things. He was able
to make plays happen. You look at the interceptions, they're low. Yeah,
because he ate a bunch of sacks. That's why you.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Don't want to go to the ball up for grabs.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
What do you just but he has he has a
little Andrew Rodgers itis and that he doesn't want to
turn it over. He's trying to make too many plays.
Aaron Rodgers was able to do that to the tune
of success. That's why he's going to be a first
ballot Hall of Famer.

Speaker 6 (05:30):
Caleb.

Speaker 7 (05:31):
The jury is still out, so Caleb Williams has to
process faster. We're hearing it from too many sources, from
his own Dagone team, in his own his own coach.
He's got to be better at getting the ball out faster.
He can no longer just rely on his talent that
has gotten him this far. And that is a fair
thing to say of a guy who we expect the
world from.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Lamar Jackson. We had these concerns about Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
Lamar Jackson came right in after a couple of years
his Now you and I talked about this last week
or so. Now he's one of the best passers in
the NBA, gets the ball out, doesn't get sack.

Speaker 6 (06:06):
In the NFL.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
I'm sorry, it has the most passes down the field
and yards per pass.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Well, but that's because that's the lesson.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
That's the lesson is you can't pass judgment on people
so quickly. But you give Justin Herbert and he's a
top five quarterback for whatever reason, it's okay Justin Herbert
or or who do or Lawrence down in Jacksonville. No
one's crying, oh my god, he got the big contract.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
He's all this.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
He got, you know, a contract and all that.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
My point is there is a little extra sauce because
he's not conventional.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
He's not the guy that that maybe people, you.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Know what I mean, want to rally around because he's
different a little bit.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
And I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
That that factors in. That's all I'm saying. He's not
above criticism. That's not what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
I think he gets extra for some other stuff.

Speaker 7 (06:57):
I think he gets extra because the same problem has
applied for the same few years, from college to his
first campaign and then this training camp.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
You're supposed to be better by now, and I think why.

Speaker 7 (07:09):
But you're saying it's personal, And I don't see how
you don't you think it's personal? What should do when
this dude is the number one pick a Heisman winner.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
Of course it's gonna be for people. What's the personal?

Speaker 7 (07:21):
What I'm saying is, I'm saying it's if it's for Caleb.
To me, it's warranted. He's supposed to be that guy.
This is supposed to be the all world. What a
new coach and a new everything new from last year.
I just yes, because you can't go five for seventeen
with three interceptions and a family fest last week.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
You can't do that. It is a layup. This is
just a promo for the fans.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
That's that's nothing that none of these games matter. The
Lions win four to o and then owen sixteen.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
In the season.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
Nobody said you can't look horrible. You can't go five
for seventeen three.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
You think people don't have bad you think you think
great players haven't had bad training camp game, I mean
preseason games, saying this.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Wasn't even a game. He didn't even play in the game.
Of course you should, he should. He didn't even play
in the game.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
Rob These are shorts and T shirts, and he's out
here looking like me if I went to go be
a quarterback.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
That's so.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I just think it's overblown.

Speaker 2 (08:14):

Speaker 6 (08:52):
He's still moving.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
First time, long time. We got Chris in New Jersey
calling in the crazy on the.

Speaker 9 (09:01):
First of all, How in the world I'm not.

Speaker 10 (09:04):
The first caller? Easy?

Speaker 9 (09:06):
You know why before me?

Speaker 6 (09:09):
You know why?

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Wait a minute, let me tell you why, because we
have a warning for you, and we figured that this
is the reason why here.

Speaker 6 (09:17):
It is exactly for one thing.

Speaker 10 (09:20):
You forgot to turn down the radio.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
There you go, you don't call him radio.

Speaker 10 (09:28):
Look, I just had a great deal in New York City.
I get in my car and I hear Rob hating,
oh and chadure Sanders And sure I think Kelvin or
Ron g is going to put him in his place.

Speaker 9 (09:45):
And you co signing it.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
How are we hating him.

Speaker 10 (09:48):
How I had to call it.

Speaker 6 (09:50):
Yeah, he's a four string quarterback.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
They're not carrying four quarterbacks.

Speaker 6 (09:54):
How we hating?

Speaker 10 (09:55):
You're right, he is going to make the tea. Here's
the deal. Even though I'm you didn't want him to
get injured, the injury helps him, assuming he can come
back next week, and you know, you'll be fine. He
already put the good taste out there. Like the last
time we saw him, he was very good. And if

(10:16):
Dylan Gabriel goes out there against the Eagles, he gonna
be facing a better team.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
He's going there, and if he plays better than what okay,
say he plays well against the better team and the.

Speaker 10 (10:27):
Eagles, because he's been terrible he was six nineteen.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
You know what I'm asking you.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
In the game, if he plays well chardor had his.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
One hundred and thirty yards, If he has one hundred
and forty yards and two touchdowns and no picks, then
then what's the conversation.

Speaker 10 (10:42):
If he plays well, then it will probably keep. I
think they'll cut I think they'll trade Kenny Pickett. I
think they're gonna trade Kenny.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
They're not gonna keep two rookie quarterbacks. The backup of God.

Speaker 10 (10:53):
Could get hurt if Gabriel plays well, but I doubt
he will against the Eagles. He's been bad, as Robgie said,
he's been bad in the training camp, and he's not
gonna you know, he's gonna be facing game planning, which
they really don't do in the first preseason game, so
he's going in a tougher situation. He's probably gonna look bad,

(11:14):
and that's gonna make that will probably move Shador ahead
of him on the depth chart. So this actually helped
Shadure because he was so good in his only outing.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Well it's funny because he didn't move up to depth
art after that's so good.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
And you just you just need to you just even
said that.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
But you just said it, Chris, that they don't even
plan for the game one.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
They're just out there playing. It's like pick up football.

Speaker 10 (11:38):
Right, Well, I wouldn't say pick up football.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
But you know what I mean. Right, you just said the.

Speaker 10 (11:44):
Defenses don't game plan. You know, they progress, you know
this game one, Game two is a little more sophisticated
than three to four. But he had not had a
lot of reps in practice, so and remember he was
at least some of the time against Carolina starters with

(12:04):
the backups from the Browns, and you got him at
those two touchdown paths were pinpoint.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
Yeah, they were great.

Speaker 6 (12:10):
Thing.

Speaker 10 (12:10):
He was perfect because he had a few mistakes, but
he looked good. And look, if Gabriel goes out there
and plays well robbed, you're right, then you got a
battle for the backup spot. But I think there's a
better chance he goes out there and struggles, and then
that will probably move to door ahead of it.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Chris, you are entirely too smart to have this kind
of That'd be like if on first things first, because
Danny park is at he went to the show, if
he comes in and does well, they're gonna say he's
done so well, we're gonna replace.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
Invested so much, Chris, that is not gonna happen.

Speaker 9 (12:46):
And Gabriel, I mean, I've already done my thing, but
come out with it like it's there's not I mean,
Gabriel's a third round pick.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Yeah, but they invested too much of him to just
move off him that quickly.

Speaker 10 (13:00):
He didn't invest too much. I mean he's a third reason,
not like he's a first I get it. If he
was a first round pick, you're really giving him a
legit chance and all that. It's not that much difference
in a third and a field, get it, it's a
little different. But they're not Gabriel and you said it.

Speaker 9 (13:16):
Rob g He hasn't looked good.

Speaker 6 (13:18):
It's just not Yeah, all right.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Well, Chris, we gotta get you on again. We'll have
you on. We know you're the star. First things first,
that's on FS one.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
But I do have this. We got Sean Merriman coming up.
But I gotta say this, Chris, there are people who
question the legitimacy of all sources. That's right of Martin
Weiss's wedding Tamurio, because you indeed were the officiator of this.
Are you ordained in the state of California. We want
to know.

Speaker 10 (13:47):
I am, I say it by the powers invested in
me in this, by the state of California. So it
is a legit marriage, Alex told me. And when Alex
is ready, I'm ready.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Alex, Who say, Chris, really, it's just gonna take a
sizeable donation of the King movement, that's right.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
You know what, Alex.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
All you're gonna do is bring twelve clean uh uh
clean hoodies and then Chris could put the King Batri.

Speaker 6 (14:17):
There could be a donation. Hey Chris, thanks for listening.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
We appreciate you listening and calling.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
In my man.

Speaker 10 (14:24):
Yes, keep work, y'all found great.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
Thank you buddy, Chris. There it is Chris Bussar.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
He used to be around here for a couple of years,
wasn't he.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
He used to be his key card. Don't work no more? No, no,
he's done here. Can I Can I not say rest
in peace? Christmas are anymore? Now that we know he
is alive?

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Yes, we know he's alive.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
Okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (14:45):

Speaker 3 (14:57):
According to viewership numbers that the NFL released on on Wednesday,
the Cleveland Browns first preseason game aka the debut of
Shador Sanders, was the NFL's NFL Networks most watch preseason
contest since twenty fifteen, all right two point two million viewers.

(15:19):
According to the Volte, that debut was the number one
program on Friday night across both cable and broadcast television.

Speaker 7 (15:30):
Big Numbers numbers and what those numbers, rob and what
to me what we have seen before. And by before
I mean two from a couple different people, from Shador
and Joe Flacco. And if you want to add Kenny
Pickett now Dylan Gabriel, we don't really know much about it.
He's just kind of here, you know, he hasn't really

(15:50):
had a chance, So I'll put him. I reserved for
him on the side. Right now. I'm really looking at this,
and I mean this sincerely. This ain't radio. This ain't
trying to be saying.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
Make make sure, make sure you don't lose your credibility here.

Speaker 7 (16:04):
I kem legitimately be Kiff not understanding why you don't
run with Shador Sanders.

Speaker 6 (16:10):
Here's why.

Speaker 7 (16:12):
This is the Browns who have done nothing with quarterbacks
for the last thirty forty years.

Speaker 6 (16:17):
In fact, let me read you something, Tim not true.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Baker Mayfield one beat the Steels in the playoffs.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
I'm glad you said.

Speaker 7 (16:23):
Baker Mayfield, the guy that got rid of I Digress
when they got it right, they got it wrong and
let him go. Cole McCoy, Brandon Whedon, Jason Campbell, Brian Hoyer,
Josh McCown, Cody Kessler, Baker Mayfield was actually solid to
good for them.

Speaker 6 (16:40):
Let him go.

Speaker 7 (16:41):
Jakobe Brissett, Jameis Winston, we know he's just a turnover
weight to happen.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
My point is, and.

Speaker 7 (16:46):
Then, oh I left out one guy, the guy you
actually decided to do something. No one else in the history,
including Brett Farr, Joe Montana, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, no
nobody got two hundred and thirty guaranteed.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
Deshaun Watson did. Who the Browns.

Speaker 7 (17:01):
The Browns need to do exactly what they think they're
gonna do and do the opposite, and that is they
need to give Shadoor a chance.

Speaker 6 (17:08):
And I mean this sincerely. Joe Flacco. We know what
Joe Flacco is.

Speaker 7 (17:12):
He's probably the first or second best breaking in the
case of emergency in the NFL. Whether it's Kirk Cousins,
Yo cousin, not my cousin, whether it's him, I know
what I got.

Speaker 6 (17:23):
He's been that he is.

Speaker 7 (17:24):
He's perfectly fine as a backup, you know what, he is,
very very good, serviceable backup. But for once, why don't
you try to find your guy and build up your guy.
Why don't you give you a chance and see if
he is good he's not. You got Dylan Gabriel and
you got Kevin Pickett Kenny Pickett to go with. And
to me, and I mean this, start to build something,

(17:47):
do something. Joe Flacco's gonna win you seven games, and
you're gonna be right back here trying to get a quarterback,
trying to figure it out.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
Shud Do is clearly selling out. He's at the number
two jersey.

Speaker 7 (17:59):
He's why people are watching, people are gonna go to
the games. And he also happens to be a pretty
solid quarterback from what we've seen thus far. And if
he isn't, fine, Dylan Gabriel get in there. But to me,
why go And I mean this, Why go to Joe
Flacco when it's just a recyclable I know what it is.
He's two years removed from the last time he was
good with us. Now he's two years older. We let

(18:20):
him go when he won a playoff game. Now we
want him back. And I genuinely don't understand. Yes, well,
he seems to be the better option, but you're gonna
win seven eight games, Max, why not go start to develop,
build for your future and have something moving forward that
also is a hot ticket item, that's selling jerseys that
could sell out the freaking stadium.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
To me, I genuinely don't get to Joe Flacco. You
know what that is. You've been there before, Rob, you
know exactly what that is. What first got to stop games.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Okay, obviously you don't know anything about Cleveland Browns football
because they sell out. They don't have any empty seats.
So whether should doors the quarterback or not, that's what
they love that team and they've been showing up. So
it ain't about selling tickets or on a TV rating
for the Browns games.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
No, No, I'm just trying to.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Say, like, like, none of that factors in. People are
gonna watch the games on Sunday during the season. People
are gonna go to Brown's games. They've been bad, they
haven't won anything, and people still when.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
They lost the team.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
No, No, that's not what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
And you can't guarantee me that your door is going
to be better.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
You don't know that.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
That's in your that's your emotions getting the best of you.
But I'm saying I'm going to look at the coaches
who are invested. You're not invested in this. You're just
a bystander who is saying, yeah, this is a shiny
new toy. Let's just go put them. Just put them in.
It can't be any just put them in. The coach

(19:51):
is invested. That's his career, the general managers invested.

Speaker 6 (19:56):
That's his career.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
They're invested.

Speaker 6 (19:59):
I think it's.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
For guys like you and other people to just absolutely
think that these guys don't want to win, because I
don't believe that. I don't believe that they're not putting
Shador Sanders in because they.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Don't want to win.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
It doesn't make any sense. That's not the nature of
the game to win. They watch them every day in practice,
they watched the film. They don't believe it's the starting quarterback.
What part don't you get?

Speaker 6 (20:28):
What's the only thing we've heard? No negative thing we've heard. No, No,
it's before he even got there.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
I keep telling you, if he was that guy you're
talking about what he did at Colorado. You don't think
the Raiders need a quarterback long term? Tom Brady's right there.
There were other teams. The Steelers need a team. No,
I'm telling you about other teams that needed quarterbacks. And
your ratings thing, which is as weak as it gets

(20:56):
because Tim Tebow. I could give you ratings in twenty
twelve when Tim Tebow was a quarterback, and guess what,
they couldn't wait he won a playoff game for the Broncos,
and you know what, they couldn't wait to get rid
of him because they knew that he wasn't a good quarterback. No,
but that's my poem. Who wanted more in college? Who

(21:18):
want more in college? Tim Tebow or Shador Sandy? No,
let me, I'm asking you a question more. Okay, who
was a first round pick? Who was a first round
pick Tim Tebow?

Speaker 6 (21:33):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Who got their coach fired for moving up to go
pick Tim Tebow?

Speaker 4 (21:39):
That ultimately it cost him his job in Denver?

Speaker 9 (21:42):
Right?

Speaker 1 (21:43):
And my point to you, yes, my point to you is,
I'm giving you exhibit A with this. The fans love him,
and the TV ratings and the selling of the jerseys.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
He sold a more Mets jerseys than anybody.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
And guess what didn't make it to the major leagues
jerseys and all that.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
That's that's window dress. That has nothing to do.

Speaker 7 (22:04):
With we thought was a tailback. Nobody thought Tim Tebow
was a quarterback. We all knew he was a half back, tailback,
tight Endshaw you're looking at your door is an actual quarterback.

Speaker 6 (22:15):
And here's the part I'm saying. Let's say he sucks.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
Let's find out why am I rolling out old Joe
Flecco that hasn't.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
How do you get your job in the NFL? How
do you get your job in the NFL? It's the
only sport where you practice more than you play, and
you earn your keep, you earn your spot. They watch
you more than you play. You practice ten times more
than you play in the NFL. So that's that's what
they go off of. That's why people are watchings.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
No, no, no, no, that no.

Speaker 7 (22:48):
You have heard and only see Did Patrick Mahons play
in game one?

Speaker 6 (22:52):
Did Patrick Mahons playing game one of the preseason? I
could go on. You gave this same argument for justin Fields.
Try jumped into friend of you. The Steelers put the
field right there.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
And that's what he would not write. You would not
right because he's not with the team.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
And here's your.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Point year old quarterback. And now the first thing they
say the Jets, no, no, I'm not And the Jets
are like this, dude, can't even move the offense.

Speaker 6 (23:18):
Did you read the stories about him?

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Can't throw the ball consistently, and that's why this Dallas
moved off of him.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
What I'm saying is, go see, maybe su Doer isn't great.
You know what Joe Flacco is. He's two years older
from the same guy that won you a playoff game
that you got rid of. So clearly you didn't want him. Man,
Now he's two years older. Didn't look great last year?

Speaker 1 (23:39):
No, no, no, your argument was about selling jerseys, and
that's why that doesn't That doesn't mean anything.

Speaker 6 (23:46):
Guy, that's when year old Aaron Rodgers. None of nobody
cares about that. None of this makes sense.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Joe Jeslo Fields is on his third team in three years.
That's so good, guy, that's the guy. You hit the
wagon too. We're good in twenty twenty five. Why is
that coaching general manager? We have Joe Flaco.

Speaker 6 (24:06):
Here we go.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
Man, you better start developing and building something and moving towards.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Nobody builds anything. That's not what they do because when
they were building. No, no, they don't. They don't do
that anymore.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
For you.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Let me no, let me tell you Ja Aeron Rodgers,
Aeron Rodgers didn't play for three and a half years.
They don't build anymore. They put the quarterback in day one.
They don't build anything. And if you're not ready, they
don't put you in. That's the point. If you're ready,
anybody else, All those quarterbacks you mentioned got thrown in

(24:38):
because they think that their franchise quarterback.

Speaker 6 (24:40):
They don't believe your door in door won't get thrown in.

Speaker 7 (24:43):
He's still may because they're sitting there saying Kenny Picktt
ain't nothing.

Speaker 6 (24:48):
And Dylan Gabriel can be in this coming. Maybe it's him.
I don't.

Speaker 7 (24:50):
My point is it can't be that you're selling me
Joe Flacko is the guy. Yes, he's a proven veteran
in the Super Bowl chat respectfully, but that can't be
you moving forward. Joe Flacco won with an amazing defense.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Manning Peyton Manning win a Super Bowl and late in
his career. Yes, whether the world we're now okay, okay,
I'm asking you did they didn't put brock up Brockwaller
in there, right? They put they won the Super Bowl
with an old quarterback, did they not?

Speaker 4 (25:21):
That's my point.

Speaker 6 (25:22):
They did.

Speaker 7 (25:23):
Joe Flacco won a Super They didn't say no, let's
play brocks Waller because he's younger and he and he
represents the future.

Speaker 6 (25:31):
No, they did not. They put the veteran in. They
did not put him.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
Man Ever, compared Peyton Manning to Joe Flacco, Peyton Manning
is Peyton Manning.

Speaker 6 (25:40):
Arguably the top five quarterback all time.

Speaker 7 (25:43):
Both they both won Super Bowl that both he earned respect.
Joe was a solid quarterback who had an amazing defense,
Ali Brad Johnson, Alive, Trent Dilford.

Speaker 6 (25:52):
He had one of the greatest Super Bowl runs. Go
look at the stats.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Nobody he had one of the greatest runs to a
Super Bowl and he quarterback has ever.

Speaker 6 (26:02):
Peyton Manning in the same name.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
And my point is an old quarter ever played and
it ain't. That's Joe flat you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (26:09):
I want to TV waiting arguing Aaron Ers. Since that
makes I'll give you that. Okay, at least he's Aaron Rodgers. Okay,
I get it. That's Flacco. That's what the Browns just say.

Speaker 7 (26:21):
No, we're gonna be stubborn and close our eyes because
we got Joe Flacco.
