(01:07):
NFL Monday. We're gonna recap everything that happened yesterday in
the NFL, and no one's better to bring in for
that than Rod Woodson form. You know, Hall of Fame
defensive back just can can really drop knowledge on the NFL.
So we can't wait to get him as a guest today.
And I want to welcome in you Rob. How you

(01:28):
doing today? Man? Doing great? Also? Of course in Los
Angeles people are on pins and needles. Game three of
the NLCS against the Brewers. This time counts. That's right.
It's a pivotal game. So the Brewers obviously, Uh, Dodgers
and Brewers split the first two games. Chris, so here
we go. Game three gonna start in what thirty minutes

(01:51):
or so? Thirty five minutes or so, So we're we
got so much stuff. I think, yeah, it should be
a pretty I was listening on the radio. There's you know,
there's some talking la about you know, well the Dodgers
just gotta take care of these next three games and
don't go back to Milwaukee. It's going back to Milwach.
The Brewers are pretty good. Yeah, I think we should
like this. I think it's gonna be seven. Just slow

(02:13):
down just a little bit, getting at least six. It's
gonna be a long series. Yes, so we got so
much to do, so a little time. But Chris, as always,
let's welcome in the odd couple crew. Uh. We got Mike,
our producer filling in for Rob g of course, Alex
our engineer. We got deb Carson, our anchor. She'll keep

(02:34):
us updated as the show goes on. And our intern
is Sean. They're all on the other side of the glass, Chris.
So you know what, let's kick some man. We got
stuff to do, and let's say hi to our man, Elijah.
What's up? Elijah? Who's in the studio with us? You're
putting this on what YouTube? So we're gonna be pariscope

(02:56):
right now. We live on Pariscope Live. If y'all want
to check us out and see what we do in
the studio, how we get down, feel free to do that.
Check out my sweet Jordans. Yeah, you got the new Jeters.
The new Jeters. Those are tight. It's the first time
you ever have fresher shoes than me. Time. Look, I'm

(03:16):
sporting up the vintage Kobe's Like these are like the
Kobe fours or something. But they all but I keep
them clean clean. I love Kobe sneakers, I really do
because you can just wear them around and they look good.
They don't look like a basketball shot, not at all.
All right, man, let's go all right, man, I'm ready.

(03:37):
I'm I watched the game last night that they're calling
an instant classic. It was no surprise to me. It
turned out exactly like I thought it would. Instant classic
for the arena Football League, that's the NFL. That's called
the NFL. That's that's called the NFL. You can't defend anymore,

(03:57):
so it's called the NFL. It is a reading football.
But I predicted a shootout, and I predicted that Kansas City, though,
would come within the three and a half points they
were given. And sure enough, New England won forty three
forty in an absolutely great game. And the thing that
was crazy with all those points, Vegas nailed it because

(04:20):
Vegas had a fifty nine and a half, which was high,
so they realized it was gonna be a shootout. Nobody
thought I didn't think eighty three points total. But all
the people bet over were pretty happy and could relax
like they knew they would get taken over fifty nine
easily even I mean, these are two high scoring teams,

(04:41):
but even Vegas to give up that's a lot of points.
I think it's the most they gave a line Christian
like ten years or twelve. It's been a long time
since they gave them any points. But see, because everything's
gonna have to shift now. Like what we thought were
a lot of points five years ago, it's gonna be
different now. I mean, teams are averaging well over thirty

(05:03):
points a game, you know, so with the new defensive
rules or you know, protecting the quarterback and all that,
this is what we're going to see. I want to
ask you, mister Parker, what did you learn from last
night's game? You know, I know a lot of people
are like, look at these two teams. Here are the
Titans in the af TY top two teams or whatever?

(05:24):
Without question, I learned, without question, mister Chris Broussard, that
neither one of these teams will win a Super Bowl
because you can't win a Super Bowl playing this kind
of defense, even in this league. I am sorry the
Kansas City Chiefs. We're giving up chunks of real estate
forty two yards on this past sixty yards on that

(05:46):
past forty two yards here. It was ridiculous. I hadn't
seen anything like this in a long time, and I can't.
But they can't stop anybody, and the Patriots are no better.
How in the world could you think you're gonna win
a Super Bowl when you give up forty points Chris
on your home turf. You let somebody come into your
crib and score forty points. I know the Chiefs are

(06:10):
a high scoring team. I get it, but you cannot
do that. What do we see happen last year? Why
didn't Why did the Patriots win the Super Bowl? Last year?
Tom Brady put up thirty seven? Didn't he How many
points did they have? Thirty seven? What happened? Philadelphia won
the Super Bowl giving up thirty seven? Right, That's the thing.
I mean, I'm just saying, like, no, but everybody, they're

(06:32):
giving up turns of points. I'm telling you you can't
give up that was at a neutral field. You cannot
give up the points that the Patriots are given up
at home. Neither one I'm here Week six, neither team
will win the Super Bowl. You need to stay away
from making your proclamation. No I'm not because you have
proclaimed the Jacksonville Jaguars they're gonna be the best team

(06:53):
in the AFC. They gave up forty points yesterday, the
dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboy. You know what, I
call that a bad day at the office. They've had
three bad days at the office in six weeks. I
call that who you are that average? They are who
we thought, who we thought they were. They are who

(07:15):
we thought they were. You you You also proclaimed the
New England Patriots dead. They are done? How they done?
They're like the best team in the AFC. They're going
to the super Bowl. No, just like I predicted before
the season started, New England is going to the super Bowl.
You will see these two teams in the AFC Championship

(07:38):
right there, because no way both are gonna make it.
It doesn't happen. Have you followed, You still got jackson
your favorite team. Have you followed Andy Reid's career? Yeah, okay,
he gets the championship games. Don't act like he doesn't.
Just can't win them. He can't win them. No, and
that's why. And these are two very closely matched teams
because they're both terrible on defense. They are, but Pittsburgh

(08:01):
is terrible on defense. Your boys gave up forty points
yesterday to the hapless cow It was a bad day
before that game, Chris. Before that game, they had the
Jacksonville Jaguars had given up six touchdowns in five games.
I don't want to before that game, and everyone happened
in that game everybody has a bad day. You never

(08:22):
had a bad day. What was it against the Titans
when they lost nine six? They had a bad day offensively,
but they didn't give up any touchdowns? What was he
before that? When they lost? Who in board? Those Kansas City?
What was that? What had a bad day? They three?
Half of their games have been bad days. Chris, you
got the worst quarterback this side of Nathan Peterman on

(08:43):
your team. You think he's leading you somewhere. Yes, last
year they got to the AFC Championship game and they
were leading twenty to ten in Foxboro heading into the
fourth quarter. Don't pool pool what they did last year.
They gonna have trouble making the playoffs. No, and I've
liked Jacksonville. I've been with you that the defense is stellar,
the running game is stellar. They just don't have a quarterback.

(09:03):
But if Portals can minimize the mistakes, they would be
in the mix. But they're looking bad, Portals are looking good.
Portals will get it together. He's had a rough patch.
Everybody has a role. You don't like Tom Brady, you
don't like Pat Mahons. Say here you are defending blake Board.
Wait a minute, who said I don't like pat Patrick Mahomes.
Don't I talk to you. I didn't hear that. Don't

(09:25):
like you think he's overrated. You think he's getting too
much love from the numbers over the last three weeks
are bared out. Other than the three touchdowns in the
second half, it's always others. Wasn't it four four touchdowns
in the second half? He was phenomenal? The dude is bad.
Can I give you the two and a half game
prior to that second half? Wait? But when he struggles,

(09:47):
he's not that good. When Jacksonville struggle, it's a bad
day at the office. Why couldn't he have a bad
day at the office because we haven't seen enough. I
don't have enough data to be able to say that
it's just a bad day at the office. You know
who I You have dad on Blake Bortles. He don't
have bad days at the office. He's just bad. That's
his Africa days, his performance. Did you did you? Did

(10:10):
you see your go I was gonna say that myself,
but you did it for me. Did you did you
see what he did and how he blew out the
Pittsburgh Steelers last year? This year? No, he had year
he has a year to year lead he had, He
has the potential that he could do that. Man, Please, please,
they should have went out and got Teddy Bridgewater when

(10:30):
they had the chance. Something else. I was saying, calling
stuff left and right. Let me see Teddy Bridge. What
game is? What team is he playing for? The New
Orleans Saints? What I's up at? All time? Great? He
got your Jaguars wouldn't be better off if Teddy Bridgewater
was their starting quarterback. I'm not saying that. I didn't

(10:51):
say that all right then, but I'm just saying you
were implying it. I'm just saying he's not playing for anybody.
So as much as you want the Teddy Bridgewater bandwagon,
you might as well make it the Teddy Bridge water
bench because he ain't even playing. I don't think he's great,
but I think he can be a really good manager, y'all.
They would probably be better with Case Keenom then Blake Bortles.

(11:13):
Blake Bortles will case the game away. Keenom will just
manage it and won't do anything spectacular to get you
to win. But he's not gonna give it away like
Bortles does. Well, let's throw off the number eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox is our telephone number? Do
you agree with Rob? I disagree staunchy. Now, I would
probably pick the NFC winner to win the Super Bowl.

(11:37):
But let's look at that the Rams. They've had some battles.
You know, they edged uh Denver yesterday, they edged Seattle
the week before. They've had their close calls, so they're
not in, you know, unbeatable. I'm just saying that New
Orleans Saints are they scaring you? Did you see what
Matt Stafford did did to the Patriots defense as well?

(11:59):
They couldn't stop the run, they couldn't do anything. I'm
just telling you the Patriots defense, and Mike, where do
they rank today? Where does the Patriots defense rank? Giving
up forty points in your own crib? I mean, I
don't know where? Where are they there? I'm not gonna
sit here and defend their defense. I'm saying, not gonna
win a Super Bowl with that kind of defense. Philadelphia

(12:22):
won a Super Bowl. We're giving up thirty seven, but
the differences look up, and what's the what Philadelphia did
leading up to that game? It wound up being a shootout.
But prior to that, Chris, they were outstanding on defense,
New England could unbelievable on de rob You have to
admit New England could have easily won that game Super Bowl,

(12:42):
Tom Brady close game. Tom Brady gave up while he
was looking like the Roseanne bar going out for That
was a game and in all credits of Philadelphia. But there,
that was a game the New England could have won,
could have would ship they didn't, But I'm just saying
with their weak defense, they could have won. The top

(13:02):
four teams in the league the LA Rams, I think
La Rams, New England, Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Kansas
City Chiefs. Who among them has good defense? New Orleans
giving up twenty eight points a game. We know you
know New England's defense. Bins doesn't break all the time,
but broke yesterday. Kansas Cities breaks a lot. The La

(13:25):
Rams are the best team in the NFL because they
have a great offense and a very good defense. They're
the most balanced team. But they're gonna meet one of
those two squads and less Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is the one
team that's getting it together. Maybe could throw a monkey wrench.
You know what I love today when the Buccaneers let
go their defensive coordinator. They said, we're not going to

(13:47):
accept this. It's not good enough. Okay, it's not good enough.
And that's the Bucks. Where are these guys being too
loyal to their defensive coordinators? This is uncalled for. You
cannot win unless you get this fixed. But Rob, this
is beyond the defensive cord days. I'm not saying, don't
hold them accountable, but I'm saying, but most of the
days in NFL, most of the time, they don't hold

(14:10):
these guys accountables. What I'm saying they always go, well
this and that. No, sometime you're gonna let the guy
go and say it ain't good enough. All right, we'll
give us a call eight seven, seven ninety nine on
Fox if you want to weigh in on do you
agree with Rob Parker that neither of the Kansas City
Chiefs nor New England Patriots can win the Super Bowl.

(14:33):
I'm not saying they're gonna win it, but one of
them is gonna be. That's their defenses. That's what it
smells like. All Right. It's another day in Pittsburgh and
no sign of Levion Bell. But do the Steelers really
need him anyway? We'll discuss that next. It's the Eye Couple.

Metal Monday, our DJ Alex tischert, well, we're bringing you
some heavy metal. Is that heavy metal? That's just hard rock,
it's just classified. It's kind of hard rocket rocket. Yeah.
I know there's a difference. I might not know what
the difference is right here. Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah.

(15:38):
All right, all right, It's the Eye Couple, brought to
you by Discover Card. Discover Card treats you like you
would treat you and Rob E. Bouschette, long time Pittsburgh
Steelers writer for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Here's reporting now
just a little while ago that the Steelers do not

(16:01):
expect leaveon bell to report this week. Good Now, remember
a few weeks ago, the reports came out that Levion
would be back during the bye week because Levion said
he was coming back. It wasn't like sports, he said it. No,
I thought it was a sore. He said it to ESPN.
He talked to Jeremy jar I can't remember the guys

(16:23):
last but was it quotes Jeremy Fowler. Was it quote
saying I'll be back on that day? I don't remember
he quoted. He quoted leave extensively. They talked and he
was talking like he was. I mean, I don't remember
if it was the exact quote said I'm coming back
week seven, but that's what the story said. He quoted
Levion extensively. Now that story's all up in the air. Yeah,

(16:46):
I'm just curious, Mike, because I don't remember. I wish
remember thinking that he said he was coming back, but
I never remember him being quoted said I'll be back
on this day or whatever I do. He alluded to
it at the very least. But we got we got
a lot of calls. Let's do the eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox, and we can start with Derek
in Kansas City. You're on the odd Couple on Fox.

(17:08):
Sports Radio. What's up, Derek? Hey, what's up? Hey? Thank
you guys for taking my call. I really appreciate it. No,
no problem, man, what's going on? Hey? So you know,
my my question is is who's to say that this
Super Bowl isn't going to be a shootout? You know,
I mean, you got all the rule changes in the NFL.
You just have a lot of high flying offenses this year.
I mean, who's to say that, you know, the Super

(17:30):
Bowl defense is gonna mean a little less than it
has met in the past. I'm with you. I mean,
New Orleans I think is clearly a top five team. Right.
We wouldn't be shocked. While the Rams are the favorite
in the NFC, we wouldn't be shocked if New Orleans
gets to the super Bowl. They're giving up twenty eight
points a game. That's the new NFL. Do you like it?
Do you like this new NFL? You know it's a change,

(17:52):
but I think I think it's good for the brain.
I think it's good for the league. Man. Do you
think that that BS last night called the league? There
was no defense Derek at all? I agree, I agree,
I do, man. I were an exciting game. The other
thing is the Pets got no penalties, zero penalties? Are

(18:14):
you kidding me? Hold on, why are you gonna hate
them on them? Because they disciplined. They're the best coach
team ever. Thanks. You know that. You know that Hayden
is cheating included. That's that's passed. Like you said last year,
that's past history. Taylor in Dallas. What do you have
to say? Hey, guys, you know I'm there listening, and

(18:36):
you know Minnesota had this great defense to start of
the year and they can't stop a those bleed um
you know the past. Yeah, they don't have an offense
and people are running wide open. But I mean the
Rams are also given up a bunch of points. This
is a wide open deals to the way they wanted it.
And Rob you know, I know you using Rady's the load,

(18:58):
right kids, Yes, but you know it's it's you know
last year, down twoint to ten. No, no, no, I
don't want no wrong. Uh you know now you got
them and you got wrong. You got somebody, Michelle Son
be the Chiefs, Chiefs Patriots against Rams. When I'm gonna go,

(19:21):
I think I'm a good calling Christmas part and it's
gonna be a shootout too. Taylor. I think it's the
most obvious call by Chris, but but it's true. It's
the most obvious call in Week six of the NFL.
When you can't stop anybody, Chris, I'm telling you, there'll
be a bump in the road. Just like Pittsburgh got
blown out by Jacksonville last year, and Jacksonville was able

(19:41):
to get stops defensively, and that's why they went to
the FC Championship game. I'm just saying, Remember I warned
you one. I'm telling you those teams won won a
super Bowl, and one of those team's gonna get knocked
out because they can't make a stop. This is all
about you supporting your thesis that it's true that Jacksonville's
going to the Super Bow. You. I'm telling you, Rob,

(20:02):
they better not be in your power rankings this week.
They better not be in the top five. They're three
and three. They better And when is that tomorrow? Man,
we'll figure it out. You gotta save some face and
get them out. Kick them out, all right, Josh, John
Kentucky and Kentucky on the Odd Couple on Fox Sports Radio.
What's happening? Hey? How much guys? Hey guess there's there's

(20:25):
anything I've ever learned over time is to not bet
against the Patriots. Whatever they were down against the Falcons
at halftime in the Super Bowl last night, that was
a choke job by the Falcons. Stop at Josh, and
you know what if you didn't bet against don't bet
against the Patriots. They lost the Super Bowl last year.
They lost, Hey, Josh, last I was last night last night.

(20:50):
As soon as as soon as Kansas City scored, I'm
thinking they left too much time on the clock. Your
Patriots going to come back. Don't let Rob change of you. Josh,
You're right on the money. They won five Super Bowls,
all right. They got the best pass attacks of all time,
the best coach of all time. Now they've got Josh Gordon,
a dangerous receiver. Julian Edelman is back. You see grind cows.

(21:11):
He's getting more involved since these other weapons. Old Sony
Michelle is running ramping. I mean, come on, this is
the team you proclaim dead in week two. I didn't
realize that the other team was still good. That's what
you didn't really think that they other teams didn't play defense.
Oh my gosh, they fl man. No, I gotta come
up with some f for defense whatever that means. All right,

(21:33):
John New York, Welcome to the Eye Couple. Hello, yea, yeah,
so I'm doing great. Um, big fan of you, Chris
by the way. Um, So here's my perspective. You know,
until you get to the playoffs and get your matchups,
you just don't know how it's gonna turned out. Because
it's so I think when you get the matchups, it's

(21:55):
so important. You look at what you said before the
Steelers in the jack who would have thought this? The
Jags would have went in and blown out the Steelers. Yes,
on the perspective in on on the road. And my
perspective is it if you can find a team in
the AFC that's able to contain Patrick Mahones. I do
not trust Andy Reid yet until I see him do

(22:16):
something big late in the season. They started off well,
like you said, the Patriots. Now if Josh Gordon get
Gronk going, get Edelman going a little bit, I don't
see anybody beating the Patriots in the AFC. And in
regards to the comment about the Saints in the NFC,
I just personally don't see the Saints winning even if
there were two seed let's say they make the two

(22:36):
seeds in the NFC playoffs. I don't see them going
to LA and beating LA in LA. I just don't
think matchup wise, I think LA's offense is better than
the New Orleans. Do you remember what happened last year?
Do you remember what happened last year? MS the Rams offense?
They were not agreed and that was But now I'm

(22:56):
just I'm just saying it was a home game, and
be careful. They lit it up last year with points.
Here's the thing you get you get to that playoff
all you and you got the one seeds, you have
to win two games on your home turf. Sean mcsays
is a year wiser as a head coach. That team
has got to be the hungriest team in the league
right now, considering what happened and how they were embarrassed

(23:18):
last year and considering how good they are. I mean,
look at Todd Gurley. He's running all over everybody right now.
Jared Goff has been a little bit. He started off
a little stronger, but he's a very good quarterback. The
receivers are taking a hit a little bit. But at
the same time that that team is not that they're
the best team league. We'll see how it plays out,
but right now, let's squeeze one more man, let's do

(23:39):
Josh and Oklahoma. You're on the odd couple on Fox
Sports Radio. What's up? Not much? Man? Hey, thanks for
taking my call. Yes, Andy Reid's gonna choke him the
second half, Phillips. It always dots that in the second
half of the season. He's always been that way. Let's
start off eight and one, maybe seven and two, and
they're gonna end up like eleven and five and half

(24:00):
play that first round. That's what he does every year,
and he just always has a way to choke into
the playoffs. I'm with you. I'm sorry. I'm off the
Andy Reid ben wagon. He's had. Thanks Jos for the call.
Chris go look at his history. He's had a lot
of good teams. They can't win the big one. Look,
they can't win the big one. It's undeniable right now.

(24:20):
But I think Patrick Mahomes. While it's early, and you
and I have talked in the past about tempering our
praise of all these young guys, but this kid, I
believe is special. He's better than Alex Smith. I think
he's gonna be better than Donovan McNabb. Those are the
quarterbacks that Andy couldn't get him to the champion. I
think that's too early. I just haven't seen him that

(24:43):
you're saying the obvious thing. I'm giving the real d

knucklehead who threw the beer at Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill

(26:52):
has been arrested. He's a twenty one year old guy
who's been charged with disorderly conduct. He threw an object
at a sporting event. That's the official charge, but Drew
Rosenhouse and Tyreek Hill want stronger charges against this guy
because they're concerned about player safety issues in the future.
But in the meantime, the Patriots a band the Guy
for Life from Gillette Stadium. Well, I'm with I'm with

(27:15):
the Patriots and Drew roland House and Tyreek Hill. You
can't be doing now. You can't. You can't throw anything,
even if it's liquid. You what you got to stop
people from doing it because next time it'll be worse,
it'll be something else. You have to come down hard.
So now, unless you think it's worse, you know, never
being able to go to the stadium again. You won't
do it? Do you remember it was a guy to

(27:35):
do a snowball and hit one of the Giants players,
and they had a camera and had a focus on them,
and they were able to find out a guy in
the eighty thousand seat stadium. They were able to remember
that and they got him. Yeah. Well, our friend Lincoln
Kennedy here at Fox Sports Radio when he was playing
for the Raiders got hit in the face by a
guy at Mile High Stadium with a you know, a

(27:56):
snowball and iceball. It cut his face. Wow. Lincoln of
course went up in the stads, but yeah, I don't
think the guy did anything after that. Things hurt, of course.
It's not like it's soft snow. That was ice. And
in this case it's you know, it's beer. It's chemicals
in guy's eyes. You don't. You can't do that to somebody, right,
and it probably wasn't even a light beer, so he
could have added pale. That was pretty decent. You keep

(28:21):
that from your debut A right, it's the eye couple
of Chris Brusar, Rob Parker. Come you live from the
Guico Fox Sports Radio studios. It's easy to say fifteen
percent of more in your car insurance with Geico. Go

seven Auto. The only hard part figuring out which way

(28:42):
is easier. And Rob, I know you've been dying to
talk some baseball. I'm excited because the game is about
to start in Los Angeles. Yea, yeah, We're minutes away
from the first pitch. Game three at Dodger Stadium. It
is the Milwaukee Brewers visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers. Up
aga Game three. He's tied one one, and I think

(29:02):
we have two great series. Oh yeah, no, no, no no,
so far both are tied to won one. Looked like
both could have been two old. Because it's funny is
the Brewers were up three nothing in Game two and
Dodgers wound up coming back and winning, which was a
big turnaround. Justin Turner had the big two run home
run late in that game, and then the Dodgers held

(29:24):
on with the bullpen. So uh. And then Boston last
night that was another game. So in New England you
had two things going. You had the Patriots game going,
you had the Game two at Fenway Park. Uh, and uh,
you know a lot of people were down thinking that
the series could be over because of David Price starting
Game two, and he's just been a nightmare. As good

(29:47):
as he's been, he's been Clayton Kershaw worse, no way,
way worse, not just worse, way worse comparison, he came
into the game oh and nine as a arder in
the postseason. I think oh and ten his teams had
no his teams had lost his previous ten start. But

(30:08):
I think he didn't get he didn't get the loss
in all them day he didn't get the loss. Was
his record was only nine yea, I think they had
not won in ten starts. That's unbelievable. I can't think
of any sport where I've seen a player who's a
you know, all star caliber player just be so bad
in the postseason. It's weird, and it happened sometimes. Barry

(30:29):
Bonds went through that for a long time. But this, this, no, no, no,
I get it. This is bad, especially for a picture
of his caliber. I would compare Bonds more when he
had his struggles to Kershaw, but David Price absolutely falls
off the map. I'm wondering last night when he left
after four and two thirds innings, so he didn't get

(30:50):
given up four runs right, but they had to lead,
but he had to leave five. But he didn't get
the win because he didn't he needed to pitch five innings.
So I'm wondering when he walked off the mound, when
they took him out after two walks, were they cheering
him because he pitched well enough to put them in
position to win or were they cheering because he was out?

(31:12):
They were taking him out. That's a good I was
really wonder Now he's taking it and of course everybody
in Boston is taking it like they're cheering him because
he had a solid performance, a deep runs, four runs
and four basically four innings. No, no, no, you're er.
That's that's like a it's not it's not really good.

(31:37):
But I think that he came out of the game
and they weren't losing. I think it's probably what they
were taking. Yeah, do you know what? They were happy
that they were in cha they had a chance when
Price came out and they weren't in a five old hole,
or they weren't down six runs or whatever. But I
don't I don't know. I don't get it why certain
players struggle. We saw Kershaw struggled in Game one against

(31:59):
the brewer Um. And then ultimately I understand why they
pay they play these guys because hey, they make a
lot of money, and b you can't win without them,
do you know what I mean? Like, ultimately, these guys
are a big part of what you're doing. And if
you think that you're gonna like eliminate or take Kershaw
out or take Price out and still win, you put

(32:21):
yourself at a handicap even though these guys having pitched well,
and you always believe Chris that there's a gem there,
you know what I mean, that he can he can
give you a gem. And if you remember game one
in the ald and the NLD as Kershaw pitch Grady
pitch d. Yeah, he was great against the Atlanta Brad.
So it's like, okay, there it is. Maybe it's gonna

(32:42):
h click in and he's gonna be the Kershaw of
the regular season. And then he had the bad outing
against them. And again I think you're talking about two
different animals in Kershaw and Price. Kershaw has not been
nearly as good in the postseason as in the regular season,
but he hasn't been atrocious Price. If Price had gone
out yesterday, Let's say he gives up because he gave

(33:04):
but four runs in the first three innings. Let's say
he does that in Boston's offense isn't hitting the ball,
so let's say they're down four h or down four one.
I seriously would have to consider what to do with
his next start. There can get to a point where
you're like, you're talking about Kershaw, no price, price, a
price like there would get a point where I'm like,

(33:27):
I don't know if we can go with this guy.
Baseball doesn't work like that. It's hard, but we have
rarely seen somebody. In fact, nobody had lost their first
ten Do you hold season start right now? This is
a long time ago. Nineteen ninety three playoffs, Mitch wild Thing,
Mitch Williams was the closing you remember, and he blew

(33:48):
like two World Series game but he's awful, like gave
up four like awful. And Jim Forgosi was the manager,
and I remember everybody's saying they're gonna make a change
at closer. I'm gonna dance with the girl I brung to.
You know, I'm an dad whoever I brought up right,
And that's what a lot of guys do, and they
don't believe in doing that, which I think is crazy.
Somebody obviously doesn't have it. I'm with you. Sometimes you

(34:10):
gotta make a call. It's a tough call, and remember
a tough call. If you mess around with some of
these guys, you might lose them, and then you might
still need them if you get to the next round
the World Series. You need that starter. So that's why
you can't play around with it. Let me do to me.
Chris is at a short leash, and dude, if you
give up two runs in the first ten and you
might be out like that, like I got a short leash.

(34:32):
But I'm gonna start you. I'm gonna give your opportunity
to give your respect. But that's short least man, that
could cost you the game. Oh I know. Do you
think it has to be mental? It can't. I don't
think it's physic it has to be could be just.
I don't think it's competition, because everybody, of course is
facing better competition in the playoffs. But some guys deliver.
You know, So who you got in this game? Three

(34:54):
Brewers and Dodgers. Who are you picking that? Well? I
have the Dodgers to win the series. I'm gonna go
with the Dodgers night. Yeah, Bueller. I like Bueller's good
and they're at home. It should be good crowd and everything.
So all right, all right. The NBA season tips off
tomorrow tomorrow. I love tomorrow because it's the NBA is back.
But will Jimmy Butler be suiting up for the Timberwolves.

eye couple of Chris Brussar and Rob Parker and Rob

(36:25):
we talked about the NBA Jimmy Butler, who held out
most of training camp from the Timberwolves because he wants
to be traded. He's asked them to trade him. He
is expected to play in the opener. The Timberwolves open
up on Wednesday, and Butler's expected to be there. And
that's the way I think it should be. Until you're traded,

(36:46):
then be a professional, one of your contract and ball
there and play well. Bad message you send out to
the other players who are supposed to say, we're playing
with the guy who doesn't want to be here. Okay, now, granted,
we gotta wait and see it plays. If Butler has
I'm asking you, Chris, I don't know, five six points,

(37:06):
puts up four or five shots half hearted that rebounds.
I'm not playing the guy. I gotta get rid of them.
And it's a dangerous thing because if he wants to go,
you want to speed the trade up, you go half
motion or slower and not give your role because you
don't want to be there. And also, I just think
it sends a bad message. I only want somebody on

(37:27):
my team who wants to be there. Once you tell
me you don't want to be there, It's like trying
to convince a girl friend to stick around that she
doesn't want to be there. She's not gonna be into it.
What wait a minute, No, you should stay around. No.
I understand you got interest on all if she okay,
she wants to leave you, But when she's doing all
the right things, then you can really really I mean, look,

(37:52):
Jimmy Butler, I agree with you. If he goes out
there in game one it gives you half shoots four
times and doesn't try hard, then I benching. I may
suspend him. Yeah, I'm getting him out of there, But
I think he only hurts himself. Further, I don't think
Jimmy Butler's gonna do that. There are those Look, when
he left Chicago, it was under strange circumstances, derethos. They

(38:13):
say at USA Basketball, he you know, he rubbed some
people the wrong way. Now people are saying, well, hold
on Jimmy, you want to win, it's all about winning,
but you're talking about going to Miami, Brooklyn, New York,
the Clippers really you and you want to win, So
he would only further damage if you know this, can
this perception or damage his image and people would start thinking,

(38:37):
do I really want this guy on my team if
he's going to go out and tank it like that.
But you also know as that team that he's just
trying to get his way out. People do that, and
I'm not saying it's right. I get it, but I'm
just saying for me, if I'm a team owner, if
I'm a teammate and I know dude don't want to
be here, I'm sorry, Chris, I'm not in to you.

(39:00):
It was a problem. There's right, I'm not wishing. I mean,
especially when you're wasting my time. Well, especially when all
the talk is that you want out because you think
we aren't about made. I get it. And we don't
have hard or whatever he said, they don't write or something. Yeah,
I mean he's essentially saying that they're not about winning.
They think they want other things are more important. They
don't work hard. I get all that, but the Timberwolves

(39:24):
viewpoint and no time. Tibodeaux is like, look, we're gonna
get Jimmy in here. He's he's a warrior, he's a
goal getter, he's not gonna tank. He's gonna play his
best and we can be a really good team. And
as we beginning to win, we may be able to
convince him to stay that I know. That's what Tibodau,
I get it. Or it's also that Tipodau's thinking, I

(39:44):
gotta do something to save this sinking ship because he's
in trouble, right, that's what he's on the hot He's
on the hot seat. And now I'm gonna lose one
of my best I'm gonna lose my best player. And
then you add that to one of my best players,
right because you would say, is he the best Jimmy?
But lord town, I mean butler, if you had to
choose between the two hour one towns because of his

(40:05):
potential but right now, yeah, and the future towns will
be better. But but if you're him, uh, Tips, you're
you're you're looking out for your own neck. I get it.
You don't want to, so let me ask you if
you were in you were running the Timberwolves and you
haven't gotten a trade that's satisfactory to you. What would

(40:27):
you would actually tell Jimmy Butler, don't show up. We
don't want you to play well. The only problem is,
I'll say you you put him in a uniform. He
goes out there, and what if he's half hearted at it,
it's even worse for team morale. You really think he's
gonna do that. I don't. I don't know if he
makes I'm with you, if he goes out there and

(40:47):
makes a mockery of things and just saying it's embarrassing
to the team. If he plays himself. You remember when
Kobe played hot Potato in that game seven? Yeah, remember
that that was a mockery of that. But no, I'm
just saying that I get it where you're probably to
the other guy. Oh yeah, let's let these I won't
shoot now, and let's see how you like that. I

(41:08):
mean it's a little different, but I look, I would
give him the chance. I would think he's got enough
character to go out there and play well and play
his best. But if he doesn't, if he goes out
there he's clearly half hearted, then yeah, now I'm thinking, Okay,
we gotta get him out of here pronto, or I'm
just suspending him and moving him away from the team. Right.
But Jimmy Butler would only be hurting himself if he

(41:29):
goes out there. I don't expect him to go out
and get two points and no rebounds in thirty minutes.
I don't expect that. But I just gotta see how
how it works out. Yeah, all right, well we got
two hours left. We're bringing it At Bouchette from the
Pittsburgh Post Gazette, who just wrote that Levian Bell won't
be back anytime soon. It is indeed the Eye Couple.

a few moments, we will be having Ed Bouchette, who's
covered the Steelers for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette since nineteen
eighty five. Nineteen eighty five. I started my career in
nineteen eighty six. Quick math, how long is that? That's
a thirty three year? There you go, there you go.
I know because I've been doing a thirty two, So
that's real quick that one. Well, he's gonna have some

(42:35):
news for us regarding Leveon Bell, and if you did
call in about the NBA and the t Wools, we'll
get to you. So just hang in there as well.
We'll have all you can call in on the Leveon
Bell news and some reaction, and you could also on
the Jimmy Butler and the stuff we were talking about.
So just hang in there. We'll get to you right now, Rob,
before we get to Ed. Well, here he is, so

(42:57):
let's go to him. Ed. Welcome to the odd couple,
High Falla. How you doing, Bud? All right, I'm I'm
just fine. Bye week. Yes, right, you get a little break.
We think you get a little break. But obviously you're
following this Leveon Bell situation. You had a great story.
They just came out today. Steelers do not expect Leveon

(43:19):
Bell to report this week. That's your headline, give us
the latest, what's going on. That's as far the headline
is about what I know. They don't expect him to
come in this week. Now, Um, what I think might
be happening is, um, you know, if he if he
comes in and says I want to report, they can

(43:41):
negotiate a two week contract extension or I'm not a
contract roster exemption and uh, and then he could practice
with them. But in order to do that, they have
to come to an agreement with Leavy on on what
they're going to pay him for those two weeks. You know,

(44:01):
he's supposed to make eight hundred and fifty five thousand
dollars a week under his franchise tag, but for those
two weeks of a roster exemption, they don't have to
pay him anything. Um, and they can negotiate anywhere between
zero and I eight fifty five. So I kind of
think that might be to hold up. So why why

(44:22):
would he come back then? Why? Why why even bother
coming back if they're going to play, Yeah, Like, why
why haven't come back? Then? Well, all he's losing eight
fifty five a week, he's lost over five million. Well,
but that's what happens when you hold out though it's
called a hold out, right, you realize you're gonna lose money. Yeah,

(44:42):
but at what point? I mean, he has to decide
Number one, if he's going to come in, number two
when h and if he's not going to come in,
then didn't then just sit out the whole season and
start over next year with another team. U But I
don't understand this whole thing. I think he's playing the

(45:03):
wrong hand myself. I was gonna ask you, we all
see how well James Connor is playing. Has le Vean
helped himself or hurt himself with this hold out? Well,
I don't see how he's helped himself. The only thing
he's helped is he stayed has stayed injury free, which
as we see around the league, j J the most

(45:24):
recent in Philadelphia. You can get hurt playing this game,
so he'll be um undamaged goods if you will if
he doesn't play this year. But if he plans to
come back, it's like when he's coming back, and if
it's if it's soon, don't you want to get in

(45:44):
there and start collecting your money. And if it's not,
I mean he has till ten weeks before he can't
come back. I don't. I just don't understand his end
game here. I mean, it doesn't seem like it. You know,
it's all about the money in this instance, Yet he
keeps losing, right, that's yeah. But but if you can't

(46:08):
get what you want, you gotta The only thing a
player has is to be able to hold. That's all
they have. So that's the only option you have. You
want more money, the team doesn't want to give you money.
So I get it. Everybody said, well, he's losing money, yeah,
because that's the only that's the only option he has again,
come to work and get a new deal by coming
to work, right, No, he can't get a new deal, right.

(46:30):
Oh that's that's right. Yeah. I mean it's it's set
in the stone now. He's either gonna come in and
make eight fifty five a week or he's not gonna
come in and he's not making anything, and he's gonna
put hoping that he's going to somehow make up this
fourteen and a half million. He's basically blown this year.

(46:50):
So what man, and how is James Conner's play affected
this situation? Obviously, he's he's fifth in the league and
rushing from scrimmage, receiving, receiving and rushing, He's only like
nine yards a game less than what Levion did last year.
He's on pace to have more touchdowns than Levion. I'm
not saying he's better, Levion is better, but how are

(47:13):
has this changed the perception, if at all, of players,
of the organization of the front office of like, when
we need to get Levion in there? Do we need him?
Do you know what I mean? Listen? Very much? So
Connor has helped save their season so far. And when
you say he's not Leveon Bell, no, because they're different styles,

(47:34):
but he's producing like Levion Bell. In fact you you
just notice those numbers. But his average per catch is better,
his average per run is better, He's scoring more touchdowns.
So if you look at their styles or different styles,
but Connor's getting it done. Nah. Having said that, the

(47:55):
Steelers would love for Levion to play for them, because
knows what can happen. Connor could get hurt and they
really have nothing behind him. And having a back like
Bell and a back like Connor, where you could you know,
interchange or different styles, you could swap them in and out.

(48:16):
You know, like the Super Bowl teams did with their
running backs last year, who you know, weren't even in
the class of Levyon Bell. It'd be perfect for them.
But they're not gonna bend over for Bell. I can
tell you that right now. It's the eye couple of
Fox Sports Radio, Chris Bruce Sard and Rob Parker were
joined by Ed Bushet of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. What

(48:39):
about the trade talk is that? Is that just dead?
That's not gonna happen. Yeah, I think it's dead. I
was just reading something out of Philadelphia right a little
bit ago. They seem more interested in Shady McCoy for
a lot of reasons, in order to trade for him.
He was with them before. Obviously he's much cheaper, and

(49:03):
he has a contract for next year, which Bell obviously
does not. So I think they're trying to get Shady
McCoy out of McCoy out of Buffalo, and I don't
think they're even talking where the Steelers anymore. It helped
me with one thing. I started covering the NFL in
nineteen eighty six eighty seven around there, and when the

(49:24):
offensive linemen, some of them came out to bash Levy
on Bell. I was stunned by that. I just I
just couldn't believe like guys would come out, you know,
and get involved in another guy's financial situation. How have
you heard that a lot of Were you surprised by that? Oh? No,
I've never heard it before, and they only did it

(49:46):
really that one day. I was surprised, but they were
very frustrated. I think Belle led them to believe that
he was coming in for the start of the regular
season as he did last year, and when he didn't
come in, they saw him hurting them, uh and their
their quest for um uh, you know, another super Bowl.

(50:10):
And they also saw it as him not coming in
and his statements from his agent sounded like he was
saving himself for the for his next team, and that
that all combined to I think frustrate them, and they're
not talking like that anymore. I talked to several of
them today. They said they'd like him to come in,
they welcome him whenever he gets here, but believe me,

(50:33):
they're not committed to saying he's our guy because they're
real happy with with what Connor's done right now. When
when he does come back, I mean, of course he
could play great, they could win a super Bowl, and
then of course everything seems terrific. But when do you
think he has a future in Pittsburgh, you know, barring

(50:55):
that type of scenario where they win the Super Bowl. No,
no teachers over um he could you know, you just
mentioned he could come in help them win a super Bowl,
and I think that would be that. I think they'll
wash their hands at him even oh yeah, oh yeah,
I would be surprised. Listen, he's turned them down what

(51:16):
they thought. They offered good contracts the past two years.
His agent in twenty in the summer of twenty seventeen,
accepted in principle their contract and he took it to Bell,
and Bell turned it down, and he didn't take it
again this year. I don't think they're going to go
through that. I think they're they want to know what

(51:37):
they're going to have. Um, the money they're going to
they'll they'll use to help their defense. They'll need another
running back, whether they draft one or sign a veteran,
and I think they'll move on. At last thing, we
got about thirty seconds. How good is this Pittsburgh team.
I Mean, I've seen glimpses and then I see other

(51:57):
times I think they're awful. I don't know what's expect.
Help you out. I'm in the same boat I think
many in I think many in Pittsburgh are. They look
lackluster two weeks ago against the Ravens at home. You know,
they've lost two home games, and then all of a
sudden they look great against Atlanta. UM. They were up

(52:19):
and down against UM the Bengals on Sunday, and then
boom turned it on at the end. UM. It's it's
a talented team, it's a team still searching for itself
on defense with a lot of moving parts that I
don't think is still settled. I still think they're trying

(52:40):
to recover from the Ryan Shazier loss. But their offense
is potentially terrific, and you know they have a chance because,
as we saw last night, there's some teams out there
with great offenses that don't that have worst defenses. I
think than the than the Steelers do. All right, An, well,
thanks live for joining us on the ide couple. Great job,

(53:02):
keep up the great work and we'll talk to you
down the line. All right. Thanks thanks for as for
having yeah, thanks appreciate it. All right, what should the

Brussard and Rob Parker and Rob. Car shopping can be
very confusing. Terms like dealer, price, list, price, and invoice
just can get you all out of sorts. Well, True
Card gives you exactly what you need, what did other
people pay for the car that you want? That way

(54:05):
you can recognize a good price from a bad price.
When you're ready to buy a new or a used car,
visit True Car to enjoy him more confident car buying experience.
We were just joined by Ed Bouschett of the Pittsburgh
Post Gazette, who wrote today that Levion Bell will not
be showing up to the Steelers practice this week. Rob

(54:27):
quickly we got a lot of calls. Will get to
these and other topics we've been talking about, Jimmy Butler,
the Super Bowl, Patriots Chiefs, all that. But Rob, first,
what is your view? What do you think the Steelers
should do when Levian comes back? Open up their arms
and welcome them back, because I think that with Levion
they have a better shot of making something happen postseason

(54:51):
than without him. And I don't care what Connor has
done so far. He's unproven, doesn't that doesn't have enough
for me to believe that you're gonna be better off.
I would like to prove him back as a Levion
Bell who's not would come back rejuvenated with a point
and not banged up, so he would be able to
play for six or seven weeks and get you ready

(55:12):
for the playoffs. I'd welcome him back. I agree, I
would do the same thing. Now, remember last year he
came back and he was rusty and he started slow.
Now I'm not just gonna play him over Connor just
to say him and if he's not doing well, I'm
gonna go with Connor. But yeah, Levion Bell is better
than James Connor. Whenever he gets back, I would put

(55:32):
him in there and let him do his thing. And
if he mopes, if he's not into it, if he's
not playing well, his feelings are hurt, whatever, then I
get him out there. We got Connor. It's a no
lose situation for Pittsburgh as far as I'm concerned. All
right at this point, No, you're right, I got you
eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox, Chris would go
to the phones. What about Richard and West Virginia. You're
on the yard Couple on Fox Sports Radio. I don't care.

(55:55):
If it's a reincarnation of Jim Brown, mother great running
backs of all time, I wouldn't take him back. Why not? Okay,
but they're doing okay with James Corner. They're wedding with him.
I just get tired of these. I don't care. I mean,
you'll you'll do. I don't know. If you're one that
talks about a lot of people do that he's a
superstar and people come to watch him. I don't. And

(56:19):
it's just ridiculous to get the fourteen million dollars and
one seventeen million that's just ridiculous for them to get
that kind of money in. Like I said, they can
win without him, and I'd trade him or do whatever
you could. I'd keep James corner and just get rid
of him. Hey, Richard, one quick thing? Are you going
one quick thing? If an owner's paying somebody seventeen million dollars,

(56:40):
how much you think he's making. Yes, that's the same
old I hear the same old things, mother hostess like that. No,
but I'm just asking you. I'm just saying I'm asking you.
I'm just saying that. The thing that kills me is
when people talk about if you're paying somebody seven, how
much money are you making? Chris not, I get it.
That's all I'm saying. It's it's it's a market value.

(57:03):
It's don't make it like these owners are giving these
guys and we appreciate the call, giving him money that
they don't have, is what I'm telling about. The players
are getting there quote unquote fair share, what the market of,
what the markets bearing the football, basketball, baseball. They make
this much money, three hundred million dollars for nothing. You
think you think the owners got three hundred million dollars

(57:25):
laying around I think I think what the caller was saying, though,
it's just he's just kind of tired of Levion's attitude.
And I agree with Bouchette. I don't think Levion's helped
himself because his replacement has gone in there and played
essentially as well as Levion did last year. We'll wait
and see if he could looking for and it's right,
he's averaging four point four yards to carry Levion average

(57:46):
four last year. You know, Levion's got a lot of
wear and tear on him. He's older. I'm not saying
Levion's not better, but they're getting big production from Connor
and other teams see that. So he's lost five to
six million dollars already. We'll see how this works out
for him. I hope it works out because he's played well,
and I get him wanting the security, the contract security,

(58:09):
to know that I've got three more years. If I
get hurt, I'm gonna get paid. And in that league
where people get hurt all the time and qush you
out right with nothing, I don't look out for you.
They're not gonna take care when you get hurt. Oh
they got nothing for you. It's like you they don't
even know you. The problem is the team is doing
what it can do. You're getting far more. You're getting

(58:30):
the almost equal production out of James Connor for a
lot less money. I get what they're thinking. The problem
is the CBA. No, the players need to do something
about that. When they get twenty is the ways away.
But when that comes, we'll see if they're ready for it.
And if the union is ready to put up a fight. Yeah.

(58:51):
If they're not wanting to put up a fight, they'll
put up their dukes, they'll talk junk, but nothing right.
If they're ready, ready, ready to fight, Let's go to
Harold and calif for and you you say, you know
you got something interesting to say about Levian Yeah, I do. Um.
I don't think they should take him back. And also
so when he goes back, say he comes back in

(59:13):
week nine or ten ready to play what you were
just sending him packing? Yeah, you know, because for one,
he's dramatic, okay, just like the other guys, Like let's
just go with Jimmy Butther and the basketball. His attitude,
you know, he wanted to be traded. And then you

(59:33):
got Antonio Brown. He had a little issue going on
as well, so you know, the league doesn't read this
from anybody, and it's all about a dollar the money.
I get it, but I mean, whatever happened to just
playing for the lovely game? Oh? Please stop that, Harold,
Stop stop? You know what, Harold, where's he put him
back on? Harold? I know, Harold, Harold, let me say

(59:58):
something that I'll let you finish talking whenever I hear that.
You know what Babe Booth made in nineteen twenty seven,
Chris a ton of money. One hundred thousand dollars. People
were making twenty eight hundred dollars a year or two hundred, no,
four hundred and fifty dollars a year. Babe Booths made
one hundred thousand. Stop with the love of the game.

(01:00:21):
It's for money. People don't play for the love of
the game. It's a fairy tale that you're living. Stopping. Well,
you got to say, Harold, Okay, all right, I understand
that these guys are already making millions of dollars as
it is, and he just wanted two million dollars more.
And that's why he's sitting out. I don't you know,
let him go not even work there? What do you do? Well?

(01:00:43):
I'm retired now. I used to drive tour buses, all right.
And if somebody, if you could get more money out
of the tour bus company, you didn't want it. I accelerate.
Oh I got paid, all right, Harold, Harold, don't be
against guys making money. The owners got it about. I
don't think Harold saying, I mean, Harold saying you would
make you want to get fourteen and a half million.

(01:01:05):
You mad because you're not getting sixteen or seventeen. Whyno,
Well obviously he can't get seventeen. Nobody's giving it twin.
Well let's see. Let's remember Ti Gurley got his money,
but he's a lot younger. He doesn't have to wear
and tail TARTI LEVI maybe I don't have as much
wear intoil issue because he got a lot. I'm just saying,
I don't think Harold was like just played for you know,

(01:01:26):
love of the game for free. He was saying, you
said the game, no, no, that that's nonsense. It's total
naz Is. Love of the game plus fourteen. May I
want to get paid? I get it, but you was
getting paid. Let's go to matt in California. You're a
bell supporter. Yeah, I really am, and and simply because

(01:01:47):
as a man that has to support a family, I
understand it. I mean, I get the big fan of
the NFL. At the same time, that man has to
take care of himself and the collective bargaining agreement notwithstanding
he had, he has to take care of himself. When
he was setting records for yards from Scrimmage, he was
making his statement it's somewhat like Mac in Oakland. He

(01:02:11):
proved his words absolutely long term, and so they need
to pay. I get. I hate that he's out. I'm
not even a Steelers fan, but I hate when the
stars are out. I understand it because the man has
a limited amount of time and I would not I
don't second I don't second guess him for a second
because any one of us would take care of our
family if we needed to, and that's all that man

(01:02:33):
is doing. And I agree with you that if you're
paying a man seventeen million dollars, by gosh, how much
money do you have? Exactly? That's what people they always
quiet about the owners They got plenty of cash. Are
you kidding me? But in the meantime, you're talking about
taking care of your family. He's losing five six million dollars.
That's all right, He'll go to his bank account until
he gets the big car. I see hopefully he does,

(01:02:55):
but we'll see. We have to wait and see. We
were talking about Rob. You made this grand else proclamation
for the call just started the show that the Kansas
City Chiefe or the New England Pages cannot win a
Super Bowl. We got some callers that well, you know,
we still we still got some some more bell callers
and were also talking about the Timberwolves and Butler. But

(01:03:17):
let's go to a rick in Florida. You're on the
odd couple on Fox Sports Radio. You're even gentlemen, How
you doing doing great? I enjoyed both of you guys,
work man, I really do um thank you know what,
had franchise tag, he would have fourteen and a half
million in the bank. So I don't want to hear him.
You know all these guys that are about, oh that

(01:03:38):
he wants to get, Well, guess what you signed that time.
You would have guaranteed no matter if you got hurt
of what. He had fourteen and a half million in
the bank. So and now he's here in South Beach
get skiing and who involved this other craft and spending
and not making money. So, you know what, enough with
the whining and crying. But as far as your first thing,
let me tell you, I can't be a hypocrite and
I can't go back now my preseason pick for the

(01:04:00):
Super Bowl with Rams and Steelers. Now this was before
the whole levy on Bell and I really didn't think
my homes is gonna be this good. I will dare
untill you this, Robin, and I'm with you on this.
The Patriots will not even be in the championship. And
you know why because they're gonna lose at least a
two more games. And Rob, you know it's very well
as I do. What is the one place late in
the year where they struggle and they even lose more

(01:04:22):
often than not. That's right, South Florida, Miami, Stop, they do?
They do? They do? Are you saying that the Dolphins
are gonna beat the Patriots in the playoffs? We beat
them last year with what buttoners our quarterback here in
the playoffs. No, no, no, I don't care y'all beat
him in a regular season. I'm talking about the who's

(01:04:43):
going deeper Miami or New England We'll wait and see
in December when they come down here. If Mike Dolphins,
who have Rob's Lions this week, if we could keep
paid that game in December, East, you can't keep pace.
Your boys are frogs. We saw it already. I hear you.
Rick Nice that Cincinnati that ran through him? What not

(01:05:05):
a Patriot? But Miami me, yeah, no, that's when they
didn't show up. They didn't know they showed up. They
didn't know that the latress pushed them in the mouth.
They lost thirty eight to seven. I think it was
what a minute, what's going on here? It's a what
they did they not? Did they not use the kicker? Loo?
I didn't see it. All right, Let's let's go into

(01:05:28):
Dav Cars and we'll get to your calls later. Keep
calling us At eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox,
we'll talk lavon New England, Patrick Mahomes and more. But
let's go to Dav Carson for what's trendy. Hey, guys, Yeah,
that was a little confusing. San Francisco first of all,
got on the board first, Matt for Brita with a
two yard touchdown, so it was a seven nothing lead

(01:05:49):
for the Niners over the Packers. It appeared that Aaron
Jones had scored on a seventeen yard run, had scored
the touchdown, but on review they overturned it. Yeah, because
I'm sitting there looking at the seven to six or
I was like, what happened to the extra point? But
they overturned that on review. But Aaron Rodgers just from
two yards out hit Tie Montgomery. So it is now
an even game seven seven at Lambo, San Francisco and

(01:06:10):
Green Bay, nine seventeen to go in the first baseball action,
They're headed to the top of the third at Chavez Ravine,
Brewers still without one nothing lead over the Dodgers. Ryan
Braunze RBI double the difference at four at Milwaukee, and
of course that series is even at one game apiece.
Great news. There's a quick way you could save money.
Switched to Geico. Go to Geico dot com and in
fifteen minutes you could say fifteen percent or more on

(01:06:32):
car insurance. And just to get folks caught up on
NBA goings on Pacers center Miles Turner will sign a
four year, eighty million dollar extension with Indiana Calves and
for Larry Nance Junior have agreed on a four year
extension where forty five mill Sons have signed Jamal Crawford
to a one year deal. And as expected, guys, the
Thundersay Russell Westbrook is indeed out for Tuesday season opener

(01:06:54):
at Golden State. And that's what's going on, all right,
Thanks a lot, Dabby couple, Chris, Bruce Sard and Rob Parker.
We're coming to you live from the Geico Fox Sports
radio studios. It's easy to say fifteen percent the morning
your car insurance with Geico. Go to Geico dot com
or call eight hundred nine four seven a ut O.
The emily hard part figuring out which way is easier.

(01:07:19):
All right, let's go to let's continue with the calls.
Let's go to Marvin Ontario. How you're doing, guys, thanks
for taking my call, No problem, buddy, how are you?
I'm doing all right. I've got to take on Levon
and f I interest you on this. Maybe you can
keep me on long enough that I can. But I

(01:07:40):
can smack Rob down a little bit on Tom Brady V.
But anyway, Raveon deserves to get paid and it's not
Don't think for one second that he's turning down two
million dollars. This guy has been franchised for two years
in a rash. Yeah, and he has given up. If

(01:08:01):
he would have signed a long term contract two years
ago and gotten paid, it would have made a whole
lot more than two million dollars a year to him
in his career. Is that right? He's getting more but
marteen and a half million dollars. He's lost five to
six million already. Not too right. But I'm saying on

(01:08:24):
the franchise tag when he turned down was thirteen million
v sixteen million. So what I'm saying is if he
would have got paid two years ago, he wouldn't have
to worry about getting injured and cut. Yeah, he would
have had a long term contract if Pittsburgh would have
paid him two years ago. And Marv, let me tell
you you are so right and that you should pay

(01:08:46):
people who produced. This guy's done nothing nothing but produced
nothing and forgettable the franchise tag because the franchise tag
is nothing but an owner's way of squeezing the player. Yeah,
I agree with you. It exists and they're supposed to do.
Give me your take on the Tom Brady real quick.

(01:09:08):
Tom Brady saying, oh, this is Mahomes. Now you take
a look and you think of Sugar Lay, and you
think of Mohammad Ali. They were boxers when these guys
went into a ring against a young puncher who won.
And so the whole thing is, Mahomes right now is

(01:09:28):
a young puncher. And when you watch that two minute
drill yesterday, you saw a boxer go and take a
young kid to school. Now, Mahomes might very well learn,
and I'm not he he won't. But right now, Tom
Brady is a at class boxer who everything to him

(01:09:49):
is in slow motion. Everything all right and snapped to
the completion. It's all in slow moo for him. Because
he's a boxer, he knows what's happening before it happens.
All right, Thanks Bud, We appreciate your listening. Thanks for
calling from Ontario. Let's go to Nick and Seattle. You're
on the odd Couple on Fox Sports Radio. What's up Nick? Hey, guys,

(01:10:10):
just real quick on Levion Bell stuff. You know, sure
the owners have more than enough money to pay these guys,
but what I just wanted to point out is you
can only pay so many guys, and when you give
them more money, you're gonna just hamstring yourself at other
positions and kind of the prime example of that is
how teams do really well when they have quarterbacks on

(01:10:30):
their rookie contracts. You look at Seattle with Russell Wilson
when they resigned them, they had to let the guys go.
And you see Goff and Length right now on their
rookie deals and the teams are doing really well. But
when they signed for big money, they're gonna have to
make some decisions. And so signing Levion Bell, it's more about,
you know, looking long term than it is about the
owners have enough money or not. Yeah, But the only

(01:10:52):
problem I have with it, it's a made up number
of why they don't want to pay people. Do you
know what I mean? Like, if you really want to
pay people, you could still pay them. And that's why
the CBA. I have a problem with the whole thing,
because you have a problem. It's a system. It's a
fody system, and all it means is that they don't
want to spend a certain amount of money. But we

(01:11:13):
appreciate that call. Nick. Thanks all right, Don in Texas.
Welcome to the Eye Couple, Chris I, thanks for taking
my call. A couple of you guys are excellent. Thank you, buddy.
U No, rob, you won't like me. I'm kind of
a no, It's all right, I drop that. Did you
drop the hammer on me? I'm listening ahead, buddy. Well,

(01:11:36):
first off, I'm a Pats fan, so I'm gonna have
to agree with your last caller on the Brady thing.
That was excellent. Uh, excellent example, that was perfect. But
how are you How are you a Brady fan in Texas?
Where are you just a transplant in New England? Huh no, no, no,
I'm a truck driver. I'm over there. Okay, I got you. Okay,
go ahead, and raised in Revere Masks so lifelong. Hell.

(01:11:58):
I even got to watch the Boston Patriots play the
New York Jets and Fenways. Kid. Wow, So all right,
go ahead anyway, the whole Leveon Bell thing. I love
the guy. He's a great talent. He always scares me
when we play against the Steelers. He just does. He's
he's a great running back. The only problem is we've

(01:12:19):
got money is going so much in sports right now
that the bottom has to fall out. You know, it's
gotta there's gotta be a straw that's gonna break the
camel's back, and the owners can't just keep charging more tickets,
more for beer ten dollars hot dogs. You can't just
keep baking people pay because eventually it's gonna turn people off.

(01:12:41):
So obviously, a running back. Look at the Patriots. The
Patriots have you know, they've they've they've given up some
great running backs, but they always filled the hole. And
Levion Bellas prices himself right out of the market. He's
he's not in a seller's position. He's in a buyer's
market right now. Well, it's all gonna prove, you know,

(01:13:02):
going forward. Let's see if he indeed, because I've said, look,
I don't like giving up five to six, maybe seven
million dollars this season that he may give up, but
you've always said, Rob, he's gonna make it up this summer.
If he does more power tools, he's gonna see how
it works. No, okay, let's try Joe and North Carolina.
You're on the old couple on Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Joe?

(01:13:25):
What's going on? Gus Hey, thanks for taking a call tonight,
got no problem you are. You guys are great too,
I gotta tell you that. But let me tell you
It's this simple with the whole Levon situation. The Steelers
don't want to pay him, they don't want him there,
and it's gonna create a problem for them if they
bring him back, tell him to hit the road, and
then Levion's gonna make his money next year. There's plenty
of teams out there than the Levion Bell. Why the

(01:13:47):
heck did they just cut their losses, be done with it,
and let Leveon go make his money. He deserves it.
Because they're afraid to do that, right, they're not afraid
if they would have, if they were afraid, they they've
already worked this out. Yeah, but if they if they
don't want them, they could tell them that they don't
they don't want them, but they won't do that. They back,
Why can't they cut them? They player at anytime? Why

(01:14:10):
can't they cut them right now? They're in the power position,
especially with Connor players so well, now the team's starting
to what I'm saying, if you don't want to get back,
but if you don't want a guy, you could cut them.
We don't want you to to know. They're not gonna do
that because they still respect he didn't sign a contract, right,
he didn't know. He didn't sign the no. But he
has to come back though, so he can get credit
for this scene. He's got to be a free agent

(01:14:30):
this summer, so it's gonna be uh, it's gonna be
really interesting to see what happens. Let's go to Diego. Yeah,
last called Diego in Washington State. Welcome to the Eye Couple. Hey,
just want to tell y'all big fans of both Christmas
hard uh this ever since I been on ever since,
You're going to undispute it. Both you and Rob. You're

(01:14:51):
both cracked me up, Like it's pretty hilarious. How y'all go.
It's glad y'all got your own show. This is amazing.
Thank you. Bud uh So, I felt like he kind
of made mess up and moving himself, not like staying
like you know what I mean, just getting a little
bit of trouble off the field, like kind of putting
a little bit of doubt. Yeah that always that doesn't help.

(01:15:13):
It didn't help, like you know what I mean, Like
maybe they wouldn't have that issue two years ago if
we didn't have off the trouble issue and like, hey,
we can pay, we can pay you what you do? Um,
and then when in the NFL and Player Association really
gonna make a stand like like that's a that's a
bigger concern, that is it? And you know what, that's
what Chris and I just were mentioning Dia go that
twenty twenty man, put up or shut up. You guys

(01:15:34):
are all complaining about the deal, right, this will be
let's see if they're ready to fight and stand up
and ask for guaranteed contracts like every other league has
guaranteed contract They're looking at the NBA players, middling, middle
of the role guys making money that star quarterbacks made.
Chris NFL. Chris Middleton was a second round pick signed

(01:15:57):
an eighty million dollars contract with with Milwaukee. All right,
and the NFL players are going, what does so I
get it? We'll see it. Like you said, it'll be
time to put up or shut up in twenty twenty,
but right now coming up, it's time to put our
sources to the test. That's right. It's be sure to

(01:16:20):
catch live editions of The Odd Couple with Chris Brussar
and Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern, four pm Pacific.
It's the Eye Couple of Chris Brusar and Rob Parker
on this Metal Monday, and it's time for the best
radio show in the nation. That's what they call it.
Sources say, check check, check. Sources say these two have

(01:16:45):
been covering sports for nearly three decades. Apiece. I will
say this, let's put the big ja journalists to the test.
It's sources say, that is right. It is the proclaimed prophetic,
the one time time of the day everybody looks forward to.
It's Monday here on the odd couple, and its sources say,
where we put our two highly sourced insiders to the test.

(01:17:09):
And so it kind of looks like Rob is maybe
gonna make a comeback this time please week? Yeah, one,
last week, three months. Oh well, let's start it off
hot and see how you guys do taking my crown back,
so my sources say. During an appearance on The Jimmy
Fallon Show last week, Charles Barkley admitted that he wasn't

(01:17:32):
worn or he hasn't worn underwear in ten years. Are
my sources good? I'm going to say, who's that too?
Is that to Chris? I'm gonna say, you start, you
sit on a bed of lies. Okay, I wonder if
you did you say it fall Charles? No underwear for

(01:17:52):
ten years, man, So that means you would have a
wedgie and your pants would be wedged in pretty much.
I'll say true ten years, Schuck, ten years go and
Commando very nice? Okay, all right, guys. Sources, what was

(01:18:15):
the last time you didn't wear underwear seriously because they
were dirty or they were all dirty? Last time I
didn't wear it was because yeah, right, because they were
dirty and there were no more. I don't know when
the last time. I don't know if I ever warned him,
just because I wanted to go. Yeah, no, I'm with
you. You You know. A good follow up would have been,
does he own underwear? Right? Since I spent ten years?

(01:18:35):
Ten years, I bought like four every day when you
go outside in shorts or something like that, you need
That's why I figured he had, right, you need some support. Yeah,
I don't think he's running anywhere, so we'll be all right, right.
Sources say Heritage Auctions just put a yearbook up for
auction containing the signature of a seven year old Kobe Bryant.

(01:18:57):
They claim it to be the earliest Kobe autograph in history. Robert,
my source is good seventh grade, seven year old Kobe,
seven year old. I'll say, uh, it's true. I do
think that's true. You sit on a oh why what? Yeah,

(01:19:23):
it's actually Brittany Spears yearbook she has when she when
she was seven years old that they're selling. What yearbook
do you get when you're seven years old? I can
you go out in year book? Pretty much? Yeah? Yeah,
elementary school wherever you Yeah, I'm surprised somebody has that.
So sources say Fox Sports Radio the odd couple with
Christus Start and Rob Parker. My sources say that during

(01:19:43):
the Red Sox postgame celebration after they elimited the Yankees
in the Alds, Mookie Bets accidentally shot an n Eesn
reporter in the neck with a champagne cork. Chris Or
My source is good. Um, I'm going to say true.

(01:20:06):
I've been in a couple of those celebrations, you know
that in the clubhouse or whatever after and there's so
many people packed and that could easily happen. I'm gonna
say it's true as well. Oh you're just trying to
keep the wind now. I was in them before they
were wearing the ski goggles. Oh yeah, that's Champagne burned you.

(01:20:28):
Oh yeah, yeah. You gotta be careful. And you know
you wear nice clothes. You get ruined in one of
those celebrations. All right, Let's pivot to Rob Parker's other
favorite person besides Tom Brady, Lebron James. So, rather than
disrespecting Lebron James by giving away his old locker, the
Calves instead turned his old locker into a towel closet. Robert,

(01:20:50):
my source is good. That makes total sense to me.
That's true. I'm gonna say false. Taking the league is over. No, no, no,
we got some time. We got some time on. We
gotta see if there's a comeback. Bruin. No, it's over.

(01:21:13):
We gotta get death Carson in here. Let's get for
two minutes, all right, sources say. According to The New
York Times, former NBA vet Chris Dudley once got into
a bar fight alongside new Supreme Court judge Brett Cavanni
or Cavanaugh when they were both students in Yale back
in the early eighties. First of all, where you been man,

(01:21:37):
not in the Supreme Court. Um, yes, I'm gonna say
that's true. That is true. That's a true story. Chris
Dudley can't make a free throw to save his life.
Cover Chris Dudley, what do you used to play for? Then?
He was terrible played for he was a decent reboundery great,

(01:21:58):
a great guy. You Yeah, yeah, like skate one more
quick one in here, guys. So sources say Fox Sports
Radio Christmas starting, Rob Parker, this is just for fare
because I kicked two point fun no right this double
or nothing. Lamar Odom's clothing line rich Soil just posted
a hoodie for sale on their website priced at nine

(01:22:21):
five ninety five dollars, though it was nine dollars ninety
five right are My source is good, Rob, I'm gonna
say false. I'm gonna say true. You sit on a throw. Yeah,
what a white wash down four to one? Thank you

(01:22:43):
making it rain. And that was actually dul Saint Cabana,
so it wasn't Lamar. I'll give you, I'll give you
your props. You got me today. It looks just like
Dallas beat Jacksonville. Stuff like this. Have bad Dad at
the office. Yes, indeed, we are the odd couple and
we're I mean, you lie from the guy Cooe. Fox
Sports Radio Studios fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent

(01:23:06):
or more on your car insurance. Visit guecode dot com
for a free rate quote. And we're bringing in NFL
Hall of Famer Rod Woodson. Rod, Welcome to the odd couple. Man.
I think for having me on a who went to
the yard, I believe school that's me, Rob Poker. Isn't

(01:23:26):
that hard to believe? I'm allergic to poison? Ivy is like, Hey,
Columbia University, My man, Columbia, Okay, I feel you. I
bet you money that your guest was gonna be me. Nah,
you know I didn't know what the right Rod. Let's

(01:23:49):
go to your old stomping ground of Pittsburgh Steelers. Do
you think Lavian Bell now theer's reports that he's not
gonna show up this week, is he helping himself or
hurting himself with this whole out? Well, listen, he wasn't
gonna show up this seek at all. Um, I believe
he's gonna happen. Is that he's gonna show up next
week after the buy and um, you know, but when

(01:24:14):
he does, you know, doesn't hurt him. I don't think
it hurts teams. Um. You know, he made a decision Uh,
there's gonna be one team after this year that's going
to want him. Um, you know, he comes in and
he's ready to play and he's in shape. They can
anytime you have ballers on your football team, you become
a better football team. And you know, Connor has done
a great job since uh Levion Bill has been gone

(01:24:37):
and kind of really kind of exemplifies the Pittsburgh Steeler's
toughness like of old. It's like he runs people over
like he he Trump Williams perfect a couple of times
in the game where I don't know if Levion's gonna
do something like that. So I think they're a good combination. Um,
you know, I think once you know Levion does come in,

(01:24:57):
he has the ball out. I mean, he has to
have a really good year to get him some money
next year, no doubt about it. Hey Rod, I don't
know about you, but this new NFL whereas just I mean,
I don't know if I'm last night was watching the
NFL or Arena football forty three to forty no defense
at all from either side. Do you like this NFL
where nobody plays defense? I don't like it. Um, when

(01:25:22):
you sue your employer, which the NFL players did, so
this is what your employers over the concussion and they said, Okay, well,
we're gonna make everything safe. We're gonna we're gonna protect
the quarterbacks. We're gonna check you can't hit anybody in
the head. We're gonna like overly emphasize the five five
yard chuck rule. If you if it looks like your
whole we're gonna call it. Um, that's being said. I

(01:25:46):
enjoyed the game last night. I did. I mean, I'm
a defensive player. I enjoyed the high scoring game. But
then a couple weeks ago when the Cleveland Browns played
the Baltimore Ravens, I enjoyed that too, because that was
a that was a slow obfest, that was a defensive battle.
So you still get it. And even though the rules
are slated and for the offense, doesn't mean you can't

(01:26:08):
stay on top of your dB of the receiver. You
can't let the receivers just run right by you not
touch them, right, I mean, still do your job, you know,
just like speaks the deep of alignment for the Kansas
City Chiefs who let um Tom Brady after hitting where
you gotta take him to the ground. He knows that now,
but you can never let how the referees call the

(01:26:29):
game affect you of how you're gonna play. Do you
feel like like we've seen a lot of strange games
this year. It feels like they're only a couple of
or a handful of good teams and then everybody else
is bunched together as maybe mediocre. I mean, you got
the Rams, maybe New Orleans but they give up twenty

(01:26:50):
eight points a game. The Chiefs and the and the
Patriots but they give up a ton of points too.
Do you feel like there's only a few elite teams
in the league and then everybody else's mediocre or a
few or horrible. I think I think the Rams are
by themselves right now. So if I look at the NFC,
I look at the Rams. You know, you look at

(01:27:12):
maybe New Orleans, but like you said, that defense has
to come back around. Uh you look at the Vikings.
That defense still has to come back around. That might
be it in the NFC, And then when you go
to the AFC, I think it's more teams. You know,
you got New England, you have Kansas City. I think
Pittsburgh is coming around. I think San Diego is coming around.

(01:27:32):
I think the Jags, if their defense can just find
a way to play the way they should play all
the time, they can come around less the quarterback. If
the quarterback doesn't get better in Blake Bortles, then you
can put a fork in those guys and they might
make the playoffs. But they're not gonna be the same
team they were last year. Um, you're killing team, You're
kill me. He's right, He's right about that, Jackson. But

(01:27:55):
but this is what I wanted to ask you right yesterday.
I mean, they hate giving up six touchdowns in their
previous five games before yesterday. So the only question to
ask you about the Jags defense is wall hopper Lucy,
because I don't know what happened that Dak Prescott could
pick them apart what happened, well, he didn't really pick

(01:28:16):
him apart he had like one hundred and eighty some
yards passing. But he did do what he's comfortable doing,
and that's getting the first read. He's going to the
first read, he's going to the second read, and if
he doesn't see the second read being open, he takes off.
And that's who he is. I don't think he's going
to be a three hundred and something my yard passer
every down. I don't think they're gonna score forty points
every game, right, but this defense is good enough. If

(01:28:38):
they scored twenty twenty one, they couldn't win a lot
of games. Because this defense is a lot better than
what people think it is, and a lot better than
what I thought it was going to be this year. Yeah,
I'm with you. I've been saying this forever. That team,
if they had made last year rod one or two
first downs third downs converted in that fourth quarter, they
would have beat the Patriots last year. But they couldn't

(01:29:00):
stay you know what I mean, They couldn't keep the
offense running because they had it that. The Patriots were
down twenty to ten in the fourth quarter, right, the
Raiders one in five. One of the worst defenses in
the league. How much blame does John Gruden deserve? Um?
You know, he has to take some of the blame.

(01:29:22):
I mean, when I was on the coach and staff
last year we went six and ten. Um, the coaches
got a lot of the blame. Um, and coaches do
got to have to take some of that blame. You know,
Let me do this, Let me go with a conspiracy theory.
All right. Our president puts him out there every week,
so I'm gonna put one out there right now. All right,
all right, So here's my here's my theory. John Gruden

(01:29:45):
came in. He got rid of Khalil Mack. There's rumors
that he's going to get rid of you know, Amari
Cooper and and and Jonathan Joseph. I'm not John, Excuse
what am I talking about? Jonathan jos I'm thinking a
freaking all the Tennessee or Susan Texans um Carl Joseph.

(01:30:06):
So you're they're talking about getting rid of those guys.
He's gotten rid of the whole. All the corners that
were there last year, they're all gone. Some of the
linebackers that were there, they're all gone. And it seems
like outside of the offensive players, he's getting rid of
all of Reggie's draft picks to say these guys aren't
good enough to win with, to make it a point

(01:30:27):
where it seems like Reggie's not a good GM when
the year before he was executive of the Years, Right,
So I have a little issue with that just for
the fact that I know those guys a players I
know Carl Joseph as a baller. They're just not letting
me play. And I know Gary and Conny can play.
And even though he had some bad games, he's really

(01:30:49):
he's a rookie because he didn't play last year, so
he's still learning how to play. He can. He's going
to be a good player in the National Football But
it seems like for some reason they're getting rid of
all of Reggie's guys. Just say that none of his
guys worked, so they don't have to bring Reggie back
and he can bring it all of his guys. Know what, say?

(01:31:11):
I hear you, Rod, because what's going on? I don't understand,
and you're right. Uh, But but the guy the thing
about Grood no Is and Chris we talked about this.
He didn't have well. He didn't finish up well in
Tampa Bay, where everybody thinks he was the greatest coach.
I got it. He won a Super Bowl, took over
Tony Dungee's team, and he got the job done. But

(01:31:31):
go look at the last number of years in Tampa
they weren't good, right, right, Yeah, So you know, hopefully,
you know, maybe he is looking for the future. Maybe
he you know, he he stockpiling draft picks, and you
know he's going to hit on these draft picks. You
know that's the only thing, that's the only possible and

(01:31:54):
and you know they're only probably end result that I
can see he's trying to accomplished, you know, if he's
going to get rid of the coop and get a
second or so picked for him, if you get rid
of Carl Joe, So if you get another second or
so picked for him, you have some picks for the draft.
But that doesn't mean just because you kick these guys
in the draft that they're gonna be good players, not

(01:32:14):
as good as that you especially with a guidance you
had and Khalil Mack, who was the best pass rusher,
one of the best pass ruders in the National Football League.
Right we got about thirty seconds left. You were with
Oakland when Derek Carr had his best seasons. So what
has happened to him? He looks like a whole different quarterback,
you know he did. He really looks a lot different
than he even did last year. I'm not sure because

(01:32:37):
I'm not in that building, but I do know that
Derek is a talented player. Unfortunately, they're not protected him.
I mean in London, I mean he got bombarded with
just I mean pressure out the pressure, and then they
weren't even bringing linebackers. There was just the front form
was getting there. So you know, hopefully that they can

(01:32:57):
somewhere somewhere along the line this year kind of ease
up the pain on Derek Carr where he can find
his rhythm in the passing game because he has he
has some players. You know, you got cooked, you got
a Marie Cooper, you got Jordy Nelson, you got a
nice little running game. You use some of your running
backs in Richard and all those guys in the passing game.
So they have players, hopefully somewhere along the line this

(01:33:20):
year they can find that rhythm on offense. All right,
rod Well, thanks a lot for the knowledge, man. We
appreciate it. All right, guys, I appreciate you. Guys. All right,
we'll check you out soon. Thank you. Budd. It's the
eye couple Chris Brussar and Rob Parker, and we were
talking about Derek Carr a few years ago. He was
a golden boy. You have to slow down on anoint team.

(01:33:41):
Every quarterback that has a good few weeks as the
next great thing. We'll be talking about that more. It's

got there? What's that of air guitar? What is that that? Chris?
You got some skills over there. That makes me wish

(01:34:22):
I liked heavy metal? This song is high? Who is
this the Fall of troy Alright? I like that. There's
a lot of connection between heavy metal and hip hop,
both rebellious. Remember run DMC used a lot of hard
rock in their stuff. Ye did Walk this Way Yeah,

(01:34:47):
which was a great cover. All Right, It's the I
Couple Chris Brussar and Rob Parker on This Metal Monday
and Rob, I gotta tell you I just bought a
new car. Car shopping can be confused using terms like
dealer prices, list price, invoice, but truecar gives you what
you really need to know, which is what did other

(01:35:08):
people pay for the car. Did I want that? Way,
I can recognize what's a good price and what's a
bad price. Trust a brother. When you're ready to buy
a new or even a used car, visit Truecar to
enjoy a more confident car buying experience. And Rob, I
don't think you liked it, but I, for one loved
what I saw last night. A shootout between two of

(01:35:32):
the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and they both delivered
really good performances. And the better team, New England because
of their experience, because of their coaching staff, one out
forty three forty But I thought it was great. You
don't think either of those teams you think will not

(01:35:53):
get to the super Bowl or can't win the super Bowl.
They can't win the super Bowl. I don't see it.
Their defenses are both harrul Everybody in the NFL got
poorest defenses. I'm sorry. If you're the Patriots, you're giving
up forty points at home, bad, bad, bad forty points
at home and the chief What is that worse than

(01:36:15):
giving hold on? Hold on? Let me ask you. This
is giving up forty points to the Chiefs at home
worst than giving up forty points to Dallas on the road,
a really weak Dallas team that was averaging sixteen points
a game that was just a bad day at the
hold on, Well, why didn't New England just have a
bad day at the off because they gave it up
to the Lions and they've had a couple of Kansas City.

(01:36:38):
Wait a minute, when the New England went to jackson
But what was the score? Hey, Mike, can you give
me the score? That way two went to Jacksonville? Yeah,
on the road. Yeah, But I'm just saying, can you
give me that score? I think you gotta admit, can
you give it up? Forty? Dallas is worse? That was
a bad I don't care. Did you really Jerry Jones back?
What's you said about how good that defense is? Man?

(01:36:59):
He knows a good defense when he sees when they
when't they bring it. But they don't bring it off
more yesterday's game, they don't give it up six touchdowns Dallas.
It was bad. Trust me, I threw up in my
mouth watching. They better not be in the top five.
They can't be in the Parker's Power rankings. Trust me,
it's gonna be a tough five for me to pay.

(01:37:20):
Tough five. It's tough to find five great, really good teams.
Well that's the other part too, to be honest, there's
so many three, three, three and three teams right now. Yeah,
a lot, all right. So I liked what I saw.
I liked what I saw from Patrick Mahomes. Four touchdowns
in the second half, rally this team, they were, you know,
twenty four and nine in the first half, looked like

(01:37:41):
it was a rap. He brought them back against Belichick's defense,
as you said in Foxborough, but you're not convinced. I'm
just looking at he did have the strong second half.
And I'm not gonna pooh pooll it, but he went
two and a half games where he wasn't the fourteen touchdowns,
zero pick guy where everybody was saying he's the uh MVP,

(01:38:04):
and he's doing stuff that we've never seen before. Would
you admit he struggled. He had three games he scored
one touchdown in one game he had one throwing touchdown
none against uh Jacksonville. And then he had the poor
first half at the office. No, it wasn't Blake Borders

(01:38:25):
can't have a bad day at the office. But now
that's two and a half game they won. I understand.
But even the game against Jacksonville when he didn't score
a throwing touchdown, he played well, he had a running touchdown.
I get it, But I'm talking about when you look
at where he was, who expected him? But you stay
on that page. But people were going crazy, prisoner of

(01:38:47):
the moment. Oh my god, he's the greatest thing since
sliced brand. I can't believe how good he is. You
won't be able to defend him. This ain't this ain't
RG three, This ain't uh all the other guys who
came along Kaepernick, This ain't this is what I heard
everybody was watching. Look, I'm with you on slowing Down.

(01:39:09):
We've talked about it on this show before. Baker Mayfield
coming back to Earth? How about Baker Mayfield? This past week?
Was that Earth? Does he not look like he needs help? No?
He he looks like a rookie right right? He has
like a rookie that's got a long way to go.
He had that great game against the Jets, and everybody thought, oh,

(01:39:31):
Baker Mayfield time, this is it. What were they thinking, Hey,
Cleveland Browns, what were you thinking? Yes, but you're right.
How about Deshar Watson? I mean he's you know, and
we're not saying these guys aren't. We're not saying good quarterback, right,
But DeShane Watson was looking like Patrick Mahomes last year.

(01:39:53):
He set the world on fire, right, and now he's
looking you know, okay, pretty good, above average, but I spectacular.
Mason Crosby just connected on the second field goal. Chris,
it's twenty fourteen Packers, seven thirty four left and a half.
Just to give it up, hey, this is the new
NFL route. There's still seven thirty four left to go.

(01:40:16):
These aren't even well granted, these are bad teams that
aren't that good defensively, but they're not like high powered
offenses either. It with all due respect to Aaron Rodgers,
the Packers, who were my pick to win the Super
Bowl the preseason, they haven't looked good, but they got
very different. But they got twenty points with seven minutes
to go in the half, and in the second half
they could score forty points. This could be like fifty

(01:40:38):
six forty eight or something like that. Crazy you well,
you wonder what they bring a tipping point. But if
teams really were starting to score in the forties regularly,
it's kind of crazy. But let's get back to Baker Mayfield.
What what did? What should they do? I mean, I
just let them continue to grow, right and just leave it,

(01:40:59):
leave it as it is. But it's put a couple
of weeks. Now, can you look at you got his
numbers over there, I'll look him up. But yeah, a
little bit. But no, I mean there's no I would
definitely still play him. I mean, I'm not going back
to Tyrone Taylor. Tyrod Taylor. I mean, right, you're not
thinking about that? Oh, I'm just saying. But but but
maybe I think that they he's not all the way

(01:41:20):
there or seasoned, and maybe you are you willing to
just give up the year and let him up? Yeah?
Get better? Yes, Okay, I think you're I actually think
he gives you your best chance to win. Even now,
even though he's clearly an unfinished product has a long
way to go, he still is better than Tyrod Taylor
and gives you your best opportunities. He was twenty two

(01:41:42):
for forty six forty seven percent completion right then we
we heck the last and accuracy has been his calling car,
So how many give me? The last three games ago
against Oakland, he was fifty one percent completions, which is
not great, not sing and last week it was fifty
eight which isn't good either. And then well, at two

(01:42:03):
weeks ago it was fifty eight percent. Last week it
was forty seven percent. So he struggled. But I'm fine
with that. We're just saying that Drew Brees comparisons stop
it are a little premature, right, That's what we're saying. Yeah,
because people nowadays in sports on the prisoner of the moment. Uh,
I'm not surprised that Baker Mayfield's taken a couple of

(01:42:26):
steps back. We saw it with Sam Donald after week one,
and now look at what he's been able to do.
Pull up his number just to sli he's solid, what
I'm saying, But after that, I mean, not lighting the
world on fire. And after the first week he fell back, right,
It took a couple he fell back a couple of weeks,
and then Chris he's been much better than Jets have
won the last two games. Yeah. Correct, Yeah, they're three

(01:42:47):
and three. They're doing, they're doing, They're they're all right.
What you what you're going to have with rookie quarterbacks
is inconsistency, simple as that, and I just think people
need and we both think they need to pump the
brakes on these incredible proclamations that they make about guys,

(01:43:07):
whether it's Darnel, whether it's Baker Mayfield, whether it's even
Patrick Mahomes. Although I do really like Pat Mahomes. I
think everything he's doing is sustainable. But we've seen it
with enough guys and now San Francisco just scores, so
they tie up the ball game twenty twenty. Man, if
the Packers lose to the forty nine Ers without Jimmy Garoppolo,

(01:43:30):
Oh what are they saying? No, they're doing their little
celebrat don't. I have no idea what type of touchdown
celebration that was? And he was wide open? Did you sit?
Where's the dB? Defenses are lost? He's wide open. Some
of this isn't just the rules. No, this is just
the defenders are lost. Good second touchdown of the night. Yeah,

(01:43:58):
he was in so twenty They about to go up
twenty one twenty on forty one forty one points with
six minutes to go and a half. Do you think
there's a tipping point if points? If they start scoring
too much? He just live with it. Or do we
say this is what they want. I think this is

(01:44:18):
where the ratings are up right, this is three percent? Yeah,
up a little but that. But I agree that this
is what the NFL wants. That they want. They want
to high scoring. They think it makes it fun. It's
tough on defenders. How did you look at darn I'm
just curious to least. I mean, look he I know
you want to give him praise. No, I just want
I'm just curious. Two weeks ago, he was completed forty
five percent of his path No good, but he did

(01:44:41):
have three touchdowns and one interception in that win over Denver.
This past week he was twenty twenty four for thirty
eighty percent completion, two TVs one interception. He's having a
good year for a rookie. Remember what, man, He was
an interception machine as a what just to touchdowns in
nine down seven interceptions? Okay, it's not terrible. No, no, no,

(01:45:03):
I mean again, he's a rookie and the Jets of
three and three. Right, yep, there you go. It's about
the treats. It's about winning. And I like what I
see in dark I like what I see in audiosters.
I'm just saying before we declare some of these guys
future Hall of Famers, let's slow down, relax, pump the brakes.

(01:45:25):
But the guy I'm really willing to go to bat
four among the young guys is Pat Mahomes. I do
think he's the best one. And he isn't a you know,
very friendly offense for him too. Andy Reid, we know
what he can do with quarterbacks. So all right, could
Bibe could be following in the footsteps of Connor McGregor.

(01:45:47):
Will explain that next, But first let's go to dav
Carson with the latest in Sport. Well guys, NLCS Game three,
still a one nothing lead for the Brewers over the Dodgers.
They're headed at the top of the fifth inning there
at Shavin Ravine. Still Ryan Bronze RBI double the difference
for Milwaukee. Moving to the NFL, Yes, it's looking like
a big twelve game at lambeau Field right now forty

(01:46:09):
nine Ers with a twenty one twenty lead over the
Packers six to go in the second quarter. The latest
score Marquise Goodwin a thirty yard touchdown reception from CJ. Bethard,
their second hookup of the night again, San Francisco twenty one,
Green Bay twenty end. In case you're wondering, the overunder
line was forty six and a half and they're already
at forty two points right there now. A high scoring

(01:46:31):
affairs obviously a mean good news for the NFL, but
the overnight TV rating for the Patriots victory over the
Chiefs last night was the highest for Sunday Night football
since Week one of twenty seventeen. NHL Action Monday's Discover
Card key matchup is the La Kings at the Toronto
Maple Leaves leaves right now with a three one lead
in the second intermission, and it's a good match. Speaking

sixty five from complications of non Hodgkins lymphoma. Obviously, this

(01:47:18):
brilliant man also was the co founder of Microsoft. So
our best to his family. That's sas sixty five years. Yeah,
that's young, Yes, so young man. Yeah, that's tough. That's well,
thanks a lot, dat you bet. It is the Eye couple.
Chris Brussar and Rob Parker would coming to you live
from the Guy Coo Fox Sports Radio Studios. It's easy
to say fifteen percent of more in your carrent shooters

(01:47:40):
with Geico. Go to Geico dot com or call eight
hundred nine four seven auto. The only hard part is
figuring out which way is easier. Alex did you say, uh?
Aaron Rodgers? Eleven completions for two hundred and twenty one yard?
That is correct, it's the new NFL. Is that unbelievable?
Eleven for two twenty one? How about Bethard? Wow? His
numbers are check that special too. Thank you. Update if

(01:48:04):
you are not watching the Dodgers Milwaukee Game three at
Dodgers Stadium, Dodgers still trail Milwaukee. Scored in the first inning, Chris,
and it's one nothing Milwaukee and they are in the
Is that the sixth? I'm sorry, that's the top of
the six with two outs. The Brewers are batting. Wow.

(01:48:27):
Pictures duel. Yep, yep, all right, Well, speaking of duels, Cabebe,
fresh off of his domination of Connor McGregor, is now
looking to following McGregor's footsteps, and he challenges Floyd Mayweather.
I don't know if you've heard about this, but he's

(01:48:48):
challenged Floyd Mayweather to a fight. This is what Cabeb said,
with Leonard Ellerby right next to him. Okay, Mayweather promotion
CEO Leonard Ellerby was with Kabeb, and this is what
Kabeb said. Let's go, Floyd, we have to fight now
fifty and oh verse twenty seven and old, two guys

(01:49:11):
who never lose. Let's go. Why not because in the
jungle there's only one king. Of course I'm the king
because he cannot drop McGregor, but I drop him easily.
Let's go. What he's talking about is not submitting McGregor,
but in the third round where he decided to stay
on his feet and strike, he actually knocked McGregor down.

(01:49:34):
McGregor didn't knock him down, so he knocked him down.
Floyd knocked him out, but didn't knock him down. That's
what Kabib's talking about. Would you be interested in this
fight and seeing this, no way, no how, I'm out
on this stuff. Man. These are like gimmicks. It's just
money grabs. There's nothing there. I'm sorry. I was the
Connor McGregor fight. That was Chris. I told you this before.

(01:49:59):
It was the first time in the history of this
country that a black man gave a white man welfare.
I mean that was just like I was just a gift.
I was told that he carried him. I was he
carried Floyd carried him for seven rounds. Didn't train but
like two days a week. But don't you remember the

(01:50:20):
video came out after the fight where him and his
guys has a ski mask on like that, Like it
was like it was a a heist, it was a robbery.
Well and it's too nothing, Milwaukee. Well, here's the deal
Floyd Mayweather and look, more power to him. If he
can get paid and get his money, then that's great.

(01:50:42):
He is no longer a real like boxer, even though
he's the best of his generation. He's a showman. He's
not looking to fight Terrence Crawford, who just won his
his championship defense this weekend by knockout. He ain't gonna
do that or he's not looking to fight Keith Thurman
or any of these young warriors who really want to

(01:51:04):
get at it in the welterweight division. Well, that's why
you need. He's going to fight, you know, the circus
acts Connor McGregor, Cabebe Manny Pakia, who's way past his prime.
That's what because Floyd knows I can beat those guys
easily und million dollars at least, because it's a circus

(01:51:25):
side and I and look, he's smart. I've said it before.
If I was gonna be a boxer, or if I
was gonna advise my son who wanted to be a boxer,
I would say, do it like Floyd. Don't get hit.
He's not gonna be punch drunk. And he's made more
money than any boxer in history. And if he and
Cabebe fight, trust me, Floyd, he may not make as

(01:51:48):
much as McGregor as he made against McGregor, just because
Cabeb doesn't talk a lot, and they won't be able
to sell the fight the way Connor and Floyd sold
it with all their trash talking. That Big two. But
that that stuff was over the time was way over
the time. I hope we don't see that. I don't
want to see that again. That was ridiculous. I get

(01:52:10):
pre fight and trying to sell him Muhammadali used to
be greater. If I'm not. This was like it was discussed. Yeah,
it was ridiculous, but and and the racist stuff just
didn't sit well with me. Now. It was they were
criticizing countries and you know flags, and yeah it was.
It was bad, but could be would stand no chance

(01:52:33):
against Floyd none. He's a grappler. I don't care. Did
he knocked McGregor down, He's not going to be able
to touch Floyd. He wouldn't hit Floyd. If Floyd wouldn't
knock him out, probably knock him out. And when you know,
two hundred million dollars. I just wouldn't spend any money
on it. Now. Would I watch it for work or

(01:52:54):
if if you had it where at your place? Ye? Yeah,
of course you know you're gonna watch it, But I'm
not interested. I would not. I'm out it would be
any fit. You know. I'm out on Floyd though, like
really taking fight seriously, he's out. I'm out on that now.
He and he's smart. If I was Floyd, I wouldn't
get in there with Terrence Crawford or any of these
young stallions either. But if I could make all this

(01:53:16):
money by fighting an old Manny Pack, our freaking Cabebe
who's never boxed in his life to my knowledge, or
McGregor again, who you know box one fight against Floyd,
I would do it if I could make that type
of money. And no, I have virtually no chance of losing.
So would you be interested in it? We're wrapping up,

(01:53:37):
But if you want to talk about at eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine
six sixty three sixty nine, would you be interested in
watching Floyd Mayweather fight against Cabebe. I'm even gonna try
to say his last name. Only if it was one
hundred dollars night and I got one hundred dollars on
you know what it'd be like for you and most people.

(01:54:01):
You know how people like the super Bowl? It's an event.
My wife has no interest in the super Bowl, or
but should go to THEA and sit there with us
and get into it because people cheering and booing and
it's fun wife at all? Or no, she's not. She
she was a dancer. She don't really know hardly anything

(01:54:22):
about sports. She knows Michael Jordan and Lebron James and
magic like those. That's how big you have to be.
She was always in the book. She's a smart woman.
She's a smart When she was, she was in the
books and she's more in the arts. Look I say this,
she's opened me up to the arts. I wasn't into
going to Broadway shows. Shows are good, though they are,

(01:54:46):
but I didn't know. I wasn't even thinking about going
to a Broadway show or a dance you know show
when I was when I met her. But she opened
me up to that. We went to a few games.
She fella sleep in the Knicks game. She took me
to a Knicks game. We were dating. She thought she
wanted to be cool and it was a good year.

(01:55:07):
That's when Mark Jackson was a rookie. Wow, and she
fell asleep. She fell asleep the game. I enjoyed it, though,
but you know, opposite of track. So yeah, she she
opened me up to a little. Her world is that
her snoring. If you're not my wife, your wife snorms
like that something that is not my wife. It's the

all right, it's the Eye Couple. It's the Eye Couple,
Chris Brusar and Rob Parker, and we do have a
caller who wants to talk about Cabebe against Mayweather. Let's
go to Tori and Georgia Tory. Welcome to the Eye Couple. Hey,

(01:56:44):
let's do respect. Man. The Robin you man a big,
big fan of both of y'all. Man, But hey, right,
I said, like y'all alluded to earlier, how do you
have no chance. Man Florida's a tech tisitioner. Oh yeah, No, No,
he wouldn't touch He wouldn't. I mean, honestly, I think
mcg regor had a I mean, he didn't have any
shot either against Floyd, but he'd have a better shot

(01:57:04):
than Cabebeau could be. You know what I mean. He's
more of a striker than Cabebe is. I would agree
with you totally on that because McGregor was, he was
a monster. You know, he came in there would attitude
and all that. But the thing about it, Flout was
a tech tisler. So use that to the advantage to
just does punches and everything. So therefore, how beat even
though the aggressimer that he had, Floyd used that to

(01:57:27):
the advantage to just put on this a normal show.
Cabebe would not touch Floyd. I mean, first, Cabebe's not
a fast puncher. I mean, Floyd's gone against guys much
faster than Cabebe who couldn't hit him. You know, he
he makes why man Manuel Marquez look bad? Right, what's
he gonna do? Yeah? And but Floyd knows what he's doing.

(01:57:49):
He's smart. If he could make two hundred million dollars
fighting the guy who has no chance to beat him.
Why wouldn't you do it right? Why not? I wish
I could do it right. I wish I could go
in there do something that I have no chance of
getting hurt, no chance of losing, and make two hundred
million dollars. I'm not mad at you signed me up.
I want to sign up too for that and Rob

(01:58:10):
will be there. You be there putting your eighty dollars. Now,
I'm not putting my eighty dollars that. I'm telling you
that will not happen. Not interested, no way, no how,
no thank you. I'm just not interested in spending money.
I've seen enough fights. You don't know how many times
I've walked away frustrated watching uh a Floyd may Weather fight.

(01:58:30):
You know that it's just frustrating to watch. And I'm
not saying you should go up and open yourself up
with your arms and get knocked out, But dude, you
gotta give me a little bit. Can you give me
a little bit, like a little fight, like something, so
I could say, wow, Okay, that's a good comment. That
was a good round. Yeah. That's one reason I like
the MMA, Because the MMA, I know I'm going to

(01:58:52):
get action. I'm going to see a fight with Floyd.
And I felt this way with Bernard Hopkins towards the end.
It was gonna be boring. Now, Hopkins was different than Floyd.
He was gonna bully the guy and wrestle him and
all that, but he still was a boring fight. And Floyd,
of course, really was born anymore like square dancing. So

(01:59:14):
it was, you know, it is what it is. But
we got something brewing the mill. Speaking of brewing, the
Milwaukee Brewers up two oho now on the Dodgers, And
how do you think the Dodgers now? They they got
with a man on, Turners on and Cody Bellinger's up
two outs so and Turners in scoring position on seconds. So,

(01:59:39):
but but there's a strikeout and Cody Bellinger struck out,
and the Brewers get out of it. They go to
the top of the seventh at Dodger Stadium and the
Brewers still holding onto a two nothing lead, and they
scored their second run on a I don't know if
it was scored a wild pitch or pass ball. It
looked like it was a wild pitch because it bounced
in front of the catcher and went to the side.

(02:00:00):
But you gotta look at this and go wow, you know, like,
oh okay, we'll score the wild pitch. The Dodgers got
nine outs. I mean, this would be a blow. You
come back home. You win a dramatic game too, right
in Milwaukee, Turners two run home, running the eighth Chris,
and you say to yourself, the crowds all pumped up,

(02:00:20):
Dodgers back home and who knows, it could be late
in heroics or whatever. You can win the game. But
right now they're struggling. Well, how much do you think
momentum plays? Not at all, As I was gonna say,
I think the beach game, I think each game is
its own not it is because it's about the starting pitcher,
and it doesn't matter what you did yesterday. Seeing teams

(02:00:40):
score fifteen runs and then get shut out the next day,
people jump in to conclude now it's yeah, no, it's not.
I mean this would You're right, it would be a
blow because the Dodgers have been feeling really good about themselves.
I think the momentum affects the fans a lot. The player,
and you go up and down. You feel great one day,
and it affects it's amazing what sports does to people,

(02:01:03):
because you could see the difference people a bounty or
when their team wins. They're coming to work the next
day and they're all thrilled, and then there's other days
they're like so down and out. It's like, what's what's
wrong all the dog? Just last night? Did you see
that game? You know? I'm like, wow, I don't know.
Maybe we've been doing it too long, you know what
I mean? And we're well, we we get we see
it from a difference. I just don't look at it

(02:01:24):
like people ask me all the time, and I'm just like,
I really don't. I'm being honest. I don't. I don't.
I'm not up and down. What's the best story for
me is what I'm really rooting for? Well and analysts
and you like to root against, you know, the Patriots
in time? I don't. You know. You know what I
like to be, Chris, I like to be right. Don't
tell me you don't like to be right? To be right?

(02:01:47):
I love to be right. We're analysts. That's what we
get paid to do. That's what I live for now,
to be right, to be right. Last year when I bet,
when I bet Schatton three hundred chicken wings, that the
Cavaliers three hundred, right, that the Cavaliers get swept all flats,
when all flats. And it was just because he was like,

(02:02:07):
Lebron's gonna win one game, and everybody I won fifteen
bets on this because so everybody was like, you think
Lebron's not gonna win. It. Gave me one a game
last year. I said, do you remember that game they
won last year when they shot the lights out of
it and you had Kyrie and you had Kyrie. That's
why I picked the sweep this year. Okay, so three
hundred flats or three hundred wings? Period? Have you gotten

(02:02:28):
the three hundred? Oh yeah? How do you? How do
you do that? How does he? So we ordered them.
It was at wingstop. We ordered them. He paid. Wait,
you ordered three hundred at one at one time. So
you just brought them home and put him in your freeze.
No no, no, you not shared them with the with
the so you had a hole. You brought them to
the office. They delivered them, right, they delivered them to

(02:02:48):
to FS one at the lot. I wouldn't invited that
daber somewhere you but but I did share with everybody
because I figured I'm not three hundred wings. That can't
so from wingsto wingstop good? How much worse was three hundred?
It was like three ys wow. And yeah he got
the money. I ain't no issue. But you know, I

(02:03:09):
love betting him. I got. I got the Jordan's from
a member to two years ago. I got I gotta bet.
Shannon looked like he good. He's a good guy to bet.
Oh yeah, I gotta bet him from Jordans. He buys
is Jordan's and I could use a new pair like mine.
You would, You would get a pair of these. Oh yeah,
I would wear those. But I like my Kobees better.
