Speaker 1 (04:41):
All right, you're like, don't you see, in the words
of Martin Lawrence from one of his episodes his Faces
for the Tizzup.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Don't don't talk about twisted out here in these streets,
all right.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
For over forty years, tyrack dot com has been helping
customers find the right tires for how, what and where
they drive. Ship fast and free back by free Road
has a protection with convenient installation options, uh like mobile
tire installation. Tirack dot com the way tire buying should
be a couple of things real quick. All right, So
you want to be invented. Invited to Ben's. Now, it's
(05:14):
a pajama party this year. You know, I'm a little
afraid to wear. Oh god, yeah, it is an old
guard for me because you know, like they needed it
to be in like July for you. Pajamas don't hold stuff.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
You know.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
It's just like I'm just saying, it's not like we
don't worry about I gotta worry about this man and
his pajamas. Don't make sure your pajama's shirt long enough.
Don'tmight wanna see your belly hanging out of that set.
That's right, all right, I might have the trap what
do you call it?
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Trap meat?
Speaker 7 (05:47):
What was that.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Unbelievable?
Speaker 8 (05:51):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Showing you reduce meat? All right?
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Hey, two things real quick. Last night they had the
Golden Girl special on ABC. It was fortieth anniversary. Had
a lot of people talk about the show. It was
really well done.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Oh yeah, I could tell you got the swim guy.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
But Rob G. I told Rob G when I came in,
I was sick that there was no mention of the
odd couple, no watching that we we do this show justice.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
That's a good point. We really do like us singing it.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
It would have been great that, Hey, this show even
even sports guys on sports talk radio.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
You know what I mean. So we gotta wait to
the we gotta do wait till the fiftieth anniversary. Now, yes,
I won't be here, but what I mean, well, you
mean like on Earth radio show radio. So I said,
we need you here on Earth.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Now I won't be on the radio show. I want
to fight you some days, not all of I like that, Okay,
and tomorrow just to give you an fyi, Alex. Tomorrow
is odd couple day on November thirteenth is when Felix
Unger was actually removing.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
So nice residents can one more to make Robb the
even matter.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yes, Happy birthday, Tony, my wife, it is her birthday today,
birth birthday. Why our biggest fan and by our army mind,
listen to our show, only my parts, He mutes, you're
like every rob about to go for three minutes.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
All right, he thought, let me turn it back.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
But I did see the pictures from Santa Barbara.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Hold up, she did hold up very nice. She did
get carried away out there in the ocean. Somebody. I
can't look it. Everybody else can look I can't. I'm
going full Wemby. He is about to be a block party.
Everyone knows, twim. Want to give me the show.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Just put all the right here now, introduce us all Rob.
Let's keep it going. And you can't even bring him
in and set the table. We gotta just get we
gotta do it, Wemby.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Everyone knows it, twim. Guess to what Rob g Scott
texted me our ball.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
Scot Shapiro said he loves the graphic that Elijah made
for Wemby.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
He loves it. And he also the Caleb Williams song.
He loves it. He thought, shoots guy. He caught himself
humming that too. All right, let's get to the show. Okay,
we don't want to lose our producer. He's good. Okay,
all right, here we go, Rob g A J. Brown?
(08:18):
After all that, keep going here, come on, rob you
after all that, we need you, We need you now,
can you chime in? All right now make yourself useful? Now? Okay,
all right, so after you got it? Robbed ahead?
Speaker 1 (08:30):
No, you did all.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Go ahead and set it up. You got it?
Speaker 3 (08:35):
No.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
So A J.
Speaker 9 (08:36):
Brown last night overnight decided to go on a Twitch
stream with the guy playing Madden and let it be
known he's not real happy with the way things going.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
To fill it out your think listen, everything good though,
Like you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
Everything was straight, you know what I'm saying. Mental good,
kids good, what I'm saying, wife good. Everything wasn't checking
out like I still got you. I'm saying check out.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
You know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, you know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Hey, family good? Yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah everything else, No, man,
everything gonna click, trust me, So tell us how you being.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah, struggling, things are a blank show can't say he
ain't honest.
Speaker 9 (09:30):
Yeah, And he said he's struggling out there, So of
course his coach was dasked about it. Earlier today, Nick
Sirianni did say he's not a distraction but a j
Brown credit to him met with the media about an
hour ago and elaborated on his frustrations.
Speaker 10 (09:45):
I was I don't want to win too, you know,
And I think if we're we're really focusing on winning
and doing our job like that, we can't just keep
slapping the band aid off over the defense doing their
job and getting us out of trouble.
Speaker 6 (09:58):
At what point of we're.
Speaker 10 (10:00):
Gonna pick up ox slack as an offense that we're
saying we're so great, you know?
Speaker 2 (10:03):
And that's what I'm getting it.
Speaker 10 (10:05):
It's not about we're not winning or I don't care
about winning all I care.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
About his stats.
Speaker 10 (10:09):
No, it's been week after week sometimes we're not contributing,
we're not doing our job on offense.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
So you can't just keep slapping the band aid over there.
Speaker 10 (10:16):
And if you expect to win later late in the year,
you think you're gonna go to it at the end
of the year.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
It's not gonna happen. It's not gonna happen. You know
last year what it was, thank you for the ring.
But it's a new season. They adapted.
Speaker 10 (10:25):
We have to adapt and we have to continue to
like get better and try to find new ways.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
So that's that's where the frustration comes in.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
Because he's full of crap. Aj Brown And if I
was the Eagles and I can move on from him,
I would. He's a distraction, Siriannie could be as nice
as he wants.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Oh, it's not a distraction. It's about winning. You're winning.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
And guess what, the same way you give credit to
the defense and how well are playing. Give the Green
Bay Packer or some credit as well on their defense.
Maybe they played great and you did just enough to win.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
You ever think about that.
Speaker 5 (11:04):
You're not gonna score thirty five points every game.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
This is about you. Because there were games.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
Where he got numbers and still wasn't happy. He wasn't
happy the next week, right, because you gotta be. He
had a big week and the next week he only
got three or four targets or whatever it was, and
he was bellyaching. Come on, dude, what are you doing.
You have a chance to do something special. Win another one,
back to back win and move on. Yes, we know
(11:33):
that there's more firepower and more stuff there. When the
running game got shut down in the Super Bowl, guess
what happened. Jalen Hurts was able to throw the ball
around and they rolled. They steam rolled the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
It is there.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Sometimes you gotta win and move on. It was a struggle.
Those things happen. Kelvin, Come on, man, stop making it
where you have to con you coming off a big
winning Green Bay true, and you worried about you and
your stats.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Come on, I can't take it. I wouldn't want that
guy on my team.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Well, I mean there, honestly, Rob, a lot of people
echoed the saint sentiments and me and you've been talking
about it essentially now, not even just this year. We
talked about it last year. Remember these were conversations they
were having last year. Then they kind of tried to
quiet the storm. He and Jayden Hurts had a little
weird thing going on and they say, no, we're good.
Jayleen Hurts like, yah, we're good. You can tell like
something ain't good. Nick Sirianni had to get in the
middle of it. Then he busts out the book and
all that. So we talked about it last year, talked
(12:32):
about it earlier this year. Then they had a chance
before the trade deadline. What were gonna do? People were wondering,
and they put it out there, we're not trading AJ,
We're not trade AJ, we're not trading AJ. And they
didn't and here we are. Now here's the thing, Robs.
I'll tell both of y'all what he just said that
that last spill. I actually wish that was the first
thing he said, because to me, that wasn't the weird
(12:55):
cryptic tweets, the weird cryptic post on Instagram, the weird
walking out and not doing any the weird book.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
I like what he said there, because what have we heard.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
If you've been paying attention to the NFL last few weeks,
a lot of time to Cleveland, not the Cleveland Browns,
the Cincinnati Bengals. Trying not to blame their defense because
they're saying, we're a team, We're a unit.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
You know.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yes, the offense is rolling right now, the defense there
are times where one side of the ball is gonna
be playing a better than others. And I like him
saying we want to help out, we want to compete
the Baltimore Ravens. Right, offense easy twenty thirty forty points easily.
Defense wasn't great early.
Speaker 5 (13:28):
But the only problem with that, and and I get it,
but it's only when he doesn't have numbers that So
it's not just hur out.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
It's about I'm not getting any numb.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
So where I'm going with this, though, is if he
said that initially, right, if someone said, hey, offense hasn't
been going only this amount of points, dismounty points, what's
going on? And he said that, I would have been
all right, Yo, we gotta get this thing rolling. You know,
our defense we've been lying on. It's not fair to
that unit side of the ball. I would be all
right with that. It's that it's combined with that cryptic tweets,
weird message here, not speak there, point fingers there, and
(14:01):
it just continues to be exhausting. And my thing is this, Rob,
what if they lose him when they need him most?
And I was talking to Rob g earlier. It's not
about a reception per se. What if they lose him
Rob when they needed him to do it. Sometimes, if
you know the game, I need you to run full
steam so that the defense thinks you actually running a route.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
As we're about to give this ball to Saquon. What
if he have you know, what's it?
Speaker 1 (14:27):
What if we're running with Saquon here, We're gonna do
a quarterback sneak and he doesn't block, you know what
I mean, those things that are not necessarily on the
stat sheet, and you lose him in the regard of
those types of things, that's detrimental to the team. We
needed you to run a rout, We needed you to block,
We need you to run a pick route, all those
kind of things. We need you to be locked in
in the film room and you're checked out and you're
(14:47):
talking smack on the middle of twitch and streams. So
I think that's what makes it disappointing is because now
we keep saying, Sirianni Jalen Hurts, Devontae Smith, all these
guys gonna answer questions and they are trying to figure
out the offense. The last thing we need to do
is keep having to answer questions as well. So I
just I just think they missed an opportunity to maybe
sell high while we all know he's still talented and
(15:09):
see what they can get do they have an offensive struggles, absolutely,
but this can't be the way to go about it
where routinely you're gonna have to justify your team to
the media every single week, every single week. That's to
be exhausted for the team. The offensive line, guys who
don't get the micing camera times, you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (15:28):
It's just it's just a distraction, whether they want to
say it or not. Eight seven seven ninety nine on
Fox is the telephone number eight seven seven nine to
nine six sixty three sixty nine. Should the Eagles get
out of the AJ Brown business? I know I would,
you know, I'd put him in.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Now you're kind of somewhere else. That's what I like that.
But that's kind of stuck now, at least until you
know the next offseason.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
We'll continue this conversation next with you on a on

(17:33):
media today eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.
Speaker 5 (17:35):
So you with it, you're trading them, you're keeping them.
He's too good what you're doing? Who we got Shack
in Richmond, Virginia. You're on the ey couple of Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Shock?
Speaker 3 (17:44):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Fellas?
Speaker 6 (17:45):
A'll doing?
Speaker 5 (17:46):
Doing?
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Good? Man?
Speaker 2 (17:46):
How are you?
Speaker 7 (17:48):
I can't simplain?
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Man, Hey, Ron, it's the first time. Man, I thank
you off base and I'll tell you what.
Speaker 8 (17:54):
They didn't pay that man, top dollars to be fifty
in receiving. I don't care what you say about the
wins and all that other stuff like it doesn't work man.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
Okay, So Shack, let me say this to you. So
all the great receivers in Cincinnati, is that where you
want to be? You want to be there? With all
the things.
Speaker 11 (18:14):
I'm just saying yeah, because because because it's about winning
and losing, and he has had and he has hold
on and he has had some good games, and as
soon as he doesn't have a good game, he complains,
go look at the stats.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
He's had good games where he's had over one hundred
and some odd yards. The next week he gets four
balls or whatever, and.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
It's the end of the world. That's what I'm talking about.
You can't sit here and go He's never had over
one hundred yards, he never had any touchdown, he never
did it. He never did even on those the next
as soon as it's not the numbers that he wants,
there's an issue.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
That's why I have a problem with it.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
And that's the points to Shaq's point in yours of
the question of is this a meet thing meaning he
has all about me something gonna me me me?
Speaker 2 (19:01):
Or is this a our offense? Is not right? But
that's not what right? And what's it?
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Yeah, he he That's what I mean in window. That's
why I liked what he said this last time because
to me, he had got straight to it.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
You got to do that because people are saying starting
to say this is just because you don't you're not
getting a statue.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Exactly about Is it about your stats? Is it about
the offensive flow or the rhythm? Right and and and
that's where people are. And that's why I was like, oh, no,
I won.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
That was last year? Really, Oh I won? That was
last year?
Speaker 5 (19:35):
Okay, I don't. Okay, Chill Will in Mississippi. You're in
the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Chill, Will?
Speaker 4 (19:46):
What's going on?
Speaker 8 (19:47):
What Chill?
Speaker 2 (19:48):
I've been to all.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
Seven continents in this world, but I've never been to Mississippi.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
I have, Chill that chance Mississippi. That was the most
let me tell you something, Rob, that's most country. I
think that was not Chez Mississippi.
Speaker 12 (20:06):
Boy.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
You know how you have like rough rouff and little
dogs in the backyard. They had bulls and gators that.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
We catch it that we.
Speaker 7 (20:16):
Bear put.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
No, no, you ain't that country. Shout out to the
gump too. All right? What you got Chill Will?
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Man?
Speaker 4 (20:22):
You know what I think is interesting though, what's always
the conversation is is that Jala Hurst don't throw the ball.
But I think what's the biggest issue is is Jamon
and a j don't get along because I'm I'm looking
at Stans Deverne. Tate Smith is twelve and receiving yards. A. J.
Brown is fifthious so it's not like they're not throwing
the ball. I think Aj is just man because he's like, man,
(20:42):
you's all targeting me. So I really wish he would
question of the trade, just moved on right a better situation.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Say we don't want to be here.
Speaker 5 (20:49):
I want my numbers. Send me the Cincinnati they get.
They all get twelve balls a game, send me down.
I listen me and Robert argued about this.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
I argue, but like I've wondered the same thing because
last year specifically, it's like it's something going on with
them because they everybody asking them question, they got all
weird and know were good. We had to talk like
it's something going on with the two of them, is
what I've been king, right, Rob, do you add to this?
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Just real quick, robbed to your point.
Speaker 9 (21:16):
AJ Brown on October nineteenth and a win over the
Vikings had four catches for one twenty one and two touchdowns.
I don't recall him saying anything about the Eagles offense.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
This is what this is what I'm saying, Like if
that that would be the day that you was say
elis offense is broken like this, it's still not right,
or there's some issues. We won this week, we're not
We had nothing to say right because he got his number.
That that that's why I think he's on the selfish tip.
Let's squeeze in Scott from North Carolina. I know he's
an Eagles fan. You're in the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up, Scott?
Speaker 8 (21:48):
What's up? My guys? I disagree, man. I don't see
no nothing on a film that says Jalen hurts. AJ
Brown has a bad relationship. I've seen them give a
signals to each other throughout the game. Of this last game,
a J Brown, he took two people, freed up Devonte
Smith block to ta Kwon Barkley. I mean put on
tape is a one tape. I mean we just got
(22:09):
a crazy environment and our head coaches screaming that fishaving
his head.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Ball on Scott, real quick, Scott, I let you finish
it on real quick and real quick. We gotta Yeah,
what if you're a fan, you watching the year in year,
what is wrong? Let's take a J side. Let's just
say you just randomly called on the show's.
Speaker 8 (22:27):
Our court, our quarterback. Does it turn the ball over?
He's not going to put it on arms away, and
he's going to get the win. How he feels like
he needs to get the win running the ball or
throwing the ball. He got final commanded with the ball
in his hand, and A. J. Brown don't like it,
and Taekwon Barkley might not have a good game, but
I mean, Daylen hurts.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
He's going to get the.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Wins no matter what it's about winning. All right, thanks
a lot, Scott appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah, I just want to hear you know what I mean,
like from a fan's he's an Eagles guy.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Yeah, that's why I was asking.
Speaker 12 (22:55):
All right.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
On the way, we got to talk some more about
prop Bet. Some more big news came out of that.
We'll get to that in just a moment. Right now,
we're talking about that forever.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
We have now again. We talked about the Cleveland Guardians.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
We talked about their pictures and the issues they had
and now Class A has offered a plea deal. Rob
g we got figures the other day. One picture was
seven hundred thousand dollars that was around those bets. The
other was sixty thousand. And it starts to question, right
of just what's the point Rob, Meaning you're a baseball
(23:40):
player making at least minimum minimum wage, I mean minimum salary.
What's the point of this? People will say, well, why
we do this all the time? Why you got Chauncey
billis he made hundreds of you know, million dollars in
the NBA.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Why doing this?
Speaker 5 (23:52):
And the Chauncey's different with the with the whole cable,
like like if that really is that's bad. That's a thing,
you know what I mean, that's a whole where you're
counting people out of money, Like like seriously, if it's
not like you're just a part of a poker thing
and it's a legit and and they're betting big amounts
of money.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Breaking the table is you're the whale at the table, boy.
But apparently with Chauncey was games too, Hey bet on
my team. I ain't gonna play on the day.
Speaker 5 (24:18):
This is like like I'm just saying allegedly. And here's
why people I don't. I don't think people really understand it. Okay,
the prop bets I can do and not feel like.
They're not saying to me if I'm class A right,
they're not saying, give up a home a three run
home run, the erron judging the ninth in and to
(24:39):
lose the game that you would have a problem with.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Do you understand? Like that?
Speaker 5 (24:44):
I could understand, But you're telling me if I throw
a ball to start the fourth inning, you're gonna pay
me fifty grand.
Speaker 12 (24:55):
I'm going to throw a ball anyway. I'm not gonna
throw all strikes. Do you That's why guys can get
looped into that. I don't care how much money you make.
Fifty grand for throwing the ball.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
You're gonna give me fifty thousand dollars cash for throwing
the ball? Seriously?
Speaker 9 (25:16):
Like what?
Speaker 5 (25:18):
People don't understand the same thing with the prop bets
in the NBA or the over under over under seven
three point attempts. Hey Cauz, hey bro Hey family. I'm
not ripping you off any I'm not giving you no money.
(25:38):
But here's a chance, you know what I'm saying, you
can make me all I gotta do. You're not asking
me the misshots you hit me, Kevin, You're asking me, right,
I just have to have less than seven attempts.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
And this is I can step on the line.
Speaker 5 (25:56):
I can step over the line and still make my shots,
still make my basket and not feel like I've done something.
That's why, guys, it's more temph.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
This is why it's complicated with propa bets. You just
hit on.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
So much of that is that the morale of I'm
a bad person because I'm point shaving and I'm trying
to lose a game, you know what I mean. I'm
trying to hurt my team. I'm trying to get my
team in a bad situation, right guy. That's that's what
most people say. Clearly, that's bad, that's wrong, don't do that.
But the idea that I got to pitch anyway, and
(26:31):
and and all my pitches ain't gonna be strikes, or
they're not all gonna be balls, or they're not gonna
be over one hundred or not gonna be under a hundred,
Like I mean, that's part of the game one hundred
one to one hundred ninety eight ninety that I can
control this one pitch and just hey, I'm actually going
for a strike, you know what I mean, Or I'm
gonna go, Hey, I'm ana pitch it on the outside.
I ain't say that is the trouble with it. And
(26:51):
I think that is where you get guys, especially guys
who maybe not aren't superstars, Guys who are getting two
way deals in the NBA, Guys who are fledgling, you know,
just guys in LA.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
He said, whatever they want. It is too hard fifty
thousand dollars to throw to throw a ball.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
It's gonna throw anyone that I can, as you mentioned,
help out people back home in a country, my home country,
and I do want to throw this out here and
make sure you know, just for the news needness of this.
Speaker 8 (27:20):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
He did pleate not guilty to several conspiracy charges accusing
him and rigging pitches.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
This is Louis.
Speaker 7 (27:25):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
You got Louis Ortiz and then we just started doing it. Yep,
and you got him as well, so then you got classic.
I just want to make sure so you got our
tease with Aplete not guilty to several conspiracy charges. I
say was one of the best closes in baseball. Two
years and now he's caught up in all this in
his case. Who is indicted, He was indicted. He has
expected to surrender tomorrow and appear for Raymond in Brooklyn
(27:46):
the federal court.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
I just want to make sure we got that part
of it.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
Yeah, I just think you got to get rid of
the prop bets because I think that they're way more tempting.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Oh, it's different because you can control it, and I
don't have to be a bad guy. I don't have
to hurt my team and I want to win.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
I'm just telling me, I'm averaging thirty one and we
need you to score five points.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Man, take myself out of the game. Allegedly Terry Rogier.
Those types of things are like, Man, that's a bad
you're being a bad person. But and you mentioned in
the basketball since I'm gonna go a little harder to
get matter of fact' gonna help out to you. I'm
gonna get some extra rebounds, right, what's the all rounder
eight and a half? Let me go get this ninth
rebound right quick?
Speaker 5 (28:25):
Even though I'm assuming most of the time they're going under,
do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Like, it's easy to go on going right because I can't.
Maybe I'm out there with Dennis Robin. I'm just saying
he ain't gonna get your boy. No, uh no, let
me get you. See my point, I think that that's where.
Speaker 9 (28:39):
The Yeah, I totally get your point. But but my
question more is because I we've talked about this a
lot about the prop especially with the NBA one.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
More so it's just easy. I think I just think
it's easy to get blessed.
Speaker 9 (28:51):
And seven my question goes back to when Kelvin started
the segment, is you're both professional players. You look at
the actual money that they allegedly made seven hundred grand
and sixty sixty which is not a lot for a
professional athlete. So everybody wants to know, well, why would
you do it? Why would you do it? And there
was reports or excuse me, in the legal proceedings that
(29:14):
said a lot of the money that they earned for
their co conspirators was sent back to the DR. I
don't know how much it was, but it says a lot.
Could you is it feasible that these guys thought that
they were like Robinhood and they were helping people out.
Absolutely found it like, hey, we're not doing anything negative,
We're actually helping a lot of.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
People, absolutely, I think so.
Speaker 5 (29:35):
I don't think that's that they're trying to get people
to feel sympathetic because it's going to going where, but
I know going where to the das.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
To whoever was placing the bets.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
But I think it's to your point though, this is
an easy way out, Rob, I don't have to five
thousand for Big Mama and them. So I think what
they're doing is me helping out my people back home.
Like you said, hey man, put two thousand on this,
put twenty you know, twenty five hundred on this. But
I'm about the first pitch, easy, one hundred miles an hour.
Speaker 5 (30:04):
I know, uns Andy Piez is up and then he
swings at a ball in the dirt, and that that's
what really triggered everything because he's the one right and
that's the one you can't oh, this was a bad pitch,
there's gonna be a ball.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
But he swings. He swinging to Andy, go catch it
out in the outfield. That's what you do, Andy, jumping
over a kick a no.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
But I do think there's some legitimate like again, it
goes back to the point where saying easy way to
help out that I ain't gotta come out of my wallet.
I'm telling you an easy way to get some money.
I agree, like I think that unless that they're gonna
have to And you said that, I think you.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Looked at.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
Of their billions of dollar industry, twenty percent of that
is prop pop bets.
Speaker 5 (30:48):
And but those are the ones that the leagues will
be fighting for a long time because people will think, well,
they can't.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
You really can't. I don't care what money's bet out there.
You don't know for sure.
Speaker 5 (31:01):
I'm talking about like whether I took seven shots or
six shots right the guy was on me, or you
know what I mean, Or I felt if I took
a step in it without a better shot exactly, or
whatever it is. That's hard to prove. I don't care
what money's being bet. It's hard to prove that I didn't.
I'm sorry. I only had six three pointers today, That's
what That's what I was talking.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Four shots exactly.
Speaker 5 (31:24):
I'm supposed to go over automatically because of what I
don't know what the number is.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
No, completely agree all right on the way Checho City
play the day, and also again some NBA news with
the Warriors some of the veteran guys, got some smoke
with the younger guys, we'll talk about it's cole.
Speaker 2 (31:38):

Welcome to Shekel City, the home base for Rob Parker's
daily Dicks against the Spread.
Speaker 12 (32:28):
Did I knew that?
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Did I knew that? Let me look at you see.
Did I knew that? Giving me one and two vines
right now?
Speaker 3 (32:38):
No?
Speaker 5 (32:39):
No, no, I did do that?
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Did I knew that? Two and one? Last night?
Speaker 5 (32:43):
You know seventy and sixty four the gap, why, okay,
all right tonight, I got the Chicago Bulls minus one
and a half taking on the Pistons.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Pistons, it's early, yes, and there's no cave's early up
fourteen right now, it's still got league Bulls gonna play
some defense. Seven minutes left. This is already at forty
seven point.
Speaker 5 (33:06):
Of saying that they come back in the second half
with no k that's my les up.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yeah, all right, Bulls minus one and a half. But
they were favorite. Look at that. They were favorite in
this game and they're losing Bay why they were doing?
All right?
Speaker 5 (33:17):
I got Orlando Magic plus three and a half at
Madison Square Garden against.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
The New York Nickolas surly, but h Orlando leading by six.
Speaker 5 (33:29):
And I got the Milwaukee Bucks minus two and a half.
They're in Charlotte taking on the Hornets. So there we go,
Bucks minus two and a half, Magic plus three and
a half and the Chicago Bulls.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
Minus one and a half.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
And remember Calvin, yes, sir, I'm not telling you to
bet on ah Haul. I'm telling you who I better.
All right, we'll keep an eye on those games. D
Right now, it's time for your tire wreck play at
the day.
Speaker 5 (33:55):
Town short on a three offensive rebound bridges out to
Punson for three. That is a big sequence right there,
putting the Knicks back up by thirteen points.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Memphis calls timeout. Yeah, Memphis is going through it. Nick
Radio right there.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Yeah, it is bad. They gotta figure out what they're
gonna do. That's your tirect Player of the day. Brought

(34:29):
Warriors not where they thought they would be this season,
with all their old vet stars and some of the
young guys clashing. Here's what Draybond had to say about it.
Speaker 7 (34:38):
I think everyone has a personal agenda in this league,
but you have to make those personal agenda work in
the team confines, and if it doesn't work, then you
kind of gotta get rid of your agenda, or eventually
the agenda is the cause of someone getting rid of you.
And so you don't want a team with no personal
agendas because a goal is an agenda. Oh, you gotta
(35:01):
have some type of personal agenda. But your personal agenda
must fit into the confines of the team.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Yeah, one more agenda. And it was about to be
the new drinking game. It was gonna be the Draymond agenda.
Drinking was what was the name of that podcast?
Speaker 8 (35:14):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Is that a podcast? Or that was just a press conference?
Speaker 5 (35:18):
Okay, because it sounded like the podcast called h the
pot calling the kettle black.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
That's what it sounded like to that should have been
the name of the By the way, he must listen
to our show. Did you see he went back and apologize.
Speaker 7 (35:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:29):
I saw that. Yeah, he must listen.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
You know that.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
You know the streets be listening. Well, they better.
Speaker 5 (35:33):
He better apologize in that situation. We knew that from jump.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
You know that that I'm about the Dak by the way,
for that he called dakabum. And I don't know, I mean,
is Draymond is he really the guy to be talking
about this or not?
Speaker 5 (35:45):
You mean the one who ran off his teammates and
Sucker punched him and told R told KD that, yeah,
that if they won without him and they didn't need
him after he begged them.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
To come to Golden State. Is that is that the
the guy? That's the guy.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
Is he on some sort of agenda, that's the guy.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Well, he said everybody got an agenda, and agendas be
having agendas and the agenda. Those two those guys are
him and Jimmy. Jimmy has something to say and Jimmy.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
Jimmy every everywhere he's been, like everywhere he's been as
an issue. So so that's why I'm saying the pots
calling the kettle's block. Those guys have had their own issues. Uh,
the message could be right or is right, but the
messenger's wrong. You know when they always say don't shoot
the messenger, or in this case it might be different.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
I'm not telling somebody, I know what you're saying saying,
you're hearing it from the I think that this is
the this is the challenge. When you have an old, veteran,
grizzled team who went through the wars together, you know,
it reminds me of it reminds me of the end
of the Bad Boys. If you watch that documentary and
Bill Lambier talked about him, Isaiah and all them. It
just they have been through so much, so many battles,
(36:50):
the idea of like rebuilding and figuring this thing out,
and the young guys, it's just they were exhausted.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
They didn't have it.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
And I think it's when your parents keep telling you, Hey,
pull up your parents, Hey, do your homework, Hey, don't
talk like that, pull up your pants, do your homework,
don't talk You stop listening to them, right, you just
stopped listening. And the same person with the same a
different person with the same message, your counselor your coach, Hey, man,
do your homework, pull up your pants, you know, stop
doing it like that. Wow, coach, you're right. I never
(37:18):
thought about that. And I'm just wondering at this point.
Draymond's Steph, Jimmy, Steve Kerr or they are all now
the parents that the message ain't it ain't coming through.
We've heard it, all, sick of it, tired, and those
guys are going to go through it because they knew
what it took for them to win. They went through
all the hard battles, and these young guys don't know
about that. They weren't part of that they want on
those teams, most of these new guys, these young guys.
(37:40):
So it's like I hear you, but this ain't that,
and it starts to fall on deaf fears.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
It happens.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
This absolutely what happens, all right on the way a
whole lot of course, and show left, we got to
talk about speaking of the NBA, the All Star Game.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Did they get it right this time? We'll tell you
Fox Sports Radio
