I don't even know.

Speaker 8 (03:33):
I don't want to Oh god, yeah, don't spill them.
I'm getting the red velvet. Velvet, I know, wonder radio.
But listen, you know they're so good.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
They're so oh it's so good. Oh it's so good man.
Thanks Tracy from my heart. Way better, way better, way
better than better.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yeah, these are good. Yeah. The cupcakes go down nice
and easy. I'm just saying, right, there's a drop that's
even worse. That worse. Why did I bring up the
busy in the first place? That did you go there?
That's that's ridiculous. I didn't mean it like that, Alex.
We don't need that, Alex.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
I can't say on the show. No, I'm just saying
I love cupcakes, that's all.

Speaker 8 (04:16):
Oh man, Okay, switch it, don't do it, Alex.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
All right, Let's welcome to the Odd Couple crew, because
we wouldn't be able to do this fine radio program
without him. Rob G is our producer, Alex is our engineer,
Steve the Seger isnt the anchor desk to keep us
updated throughout the program.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
And of course.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Elijah. Elijah is our social media guru, one of the
best in the business. And you know cupcakes go down
nice and easy. I'm just say they do. No man, God,
all right, it's just starting off on a bad foot already.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
All right.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Remember, for over forty years, tire Rack has been helping
customers find the right tires for how, what and where
they drive, ship fast and free back by free Road
has a protection with convenient installation options like tire Mobile,
tire Installation, tirak dot com.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
The way tire buying should be. All right, Rob G,
let's go here.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
And there was big news, big news you could use
in the NFL when this afternoon. Not to my surprise,
someone lost their gig.

Speaker 9 (05:41):
Rob g Yeah, Rob, You're never wrong, You're just early.
That's what I figured out.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Oh way, stuff, Hey, I was early on this one.

Speaker 9 (05:48):
Two weeks after Rob Parker demanded that he be fired,
the New York Football Giants have decided to cut ties
with head coach Brian Dayball, one day after they blew
a ten point lead in the last four minutes of
a game for the second time this season. All right,
they've now blown four games when leading by double digit

(06:08):
this season. They've lost eleven straight road games. It was
all bad for Brian day Ball. And that's not the
only reason. I don't know if you guys saw this,
but Jackson Dart, prized rookie quarterback first round draft pick.
He looks very, very good. Everyone's very excited about him.
Entered into the concussion protocol for the fourth time already

(06:30):
this season in San Diego, was officially diagnosed with the concussion. Well,
zeb plays this week, But that is the big story.
Brian day Ball out.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
In New York. Kerry I called for two weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
And even more after yesterday's game because it's not okay.
We could talk about the loss of the double digit
leads and the fourth quarters and the implosions, and I mean,
come on, they had the Bears beat, they couldn't close
the deal, and.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Caller Williams played well, yeah, they should have.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Won that game. Okay, the Giants didn't win the game.
But my reason is because of the way he's handled
Jackson Dark Like, that's the when you look at it,
here's a desperate coach playing for his gig. He's designing
plays for this kid to run into to the defense
and lower his shoulder and all this stuff. You remember

(07:24):
he was in the tent yelling at the doctor. Get
him back out of there or whatever.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Give him some.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Smell of sauce, whatever it is, like, get him out there.
That's the other part of it. That's the dangerous part.
No stop what the design plays for him to run.
And you have to be able to coach him to
understand you don't have to get every yard carried, you
don't have to lower your shoulder and go into a defender.

(07:51):
It's okay to get the necessary yards and get out
of bounds or slide down to avoid It's a long game,
a long term game. As a quarterback, it ain't about
another yard or two for you to take a big hit.
It makes no sense. I would have said, Jackson Dart,
do you understand why in practice you have on a

(08:12):
special jersey and people know not to touch you.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
There's a reason for that, all right.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
If it wasn't, if it didn't matter, they wouldn't do that,
am I right?

Speaker 10 (08:22):
My god, Brian day Ball, I told you two weeks ago,
pack your bags. The only bad thing is the general
manager should have gone too. I don't know what they're
waiting on that.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Yeah, but this had to happen.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
The ways handled Jackson Dart and the losing and not
being able to close out games, I mean, come on
enough already.

Speaker 8 (08:45):
Yeah, the losing won't be tolerated with the Giants, obviously
they've been bad the last three years, had a lot
of success in their franchise though, right, and so they
won't stand for it. But with Brian day Ball, it's
such a funny thing, Like the NFL in life in general,
it is such a fickle This is a fickle proposition. Right,
they lost four games leading by double digits. Right, if

(09:06):
they won those games, we wouldn't be having these conversations, right,
So obviously there are some mishandling with what he's doing
in in game situations.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Right, for you to get a lead, for you to
have a ten point lead, exactly different if you get
blown out carried and you can't you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
And it's like, well you're just overmatch. Yeah no, and
that's good, accept it. That's part of it.

Speaker 8 (09:25):
Right, So operation wise, something is off, but it just
shows you the NFL though, in my opinion, Like I
know Brian dave Ball very well. He was working on
the offense when I was there in New York. He
was came over with Mangenie and so I saw him
come up from the ranks through the process. Really good
guy knows football, knows how to do it. He's developed
quarterbacks like Josh Allen like he can do those things.

(09:46):
But when you're the main man, there's so much more
like management and handling things, handling and knowing the tenor
of your team. You have to remove yourself from your egoing.
And when I watched Brian day Ball and you just
talked about it, it's all about ego. He's trying to
save his job. He got his quarterback, the one that
he wanted, and he was going to run him into
the ground, and so the fact that he is gone

(10:07):
it makes sense to me. I never want to see
it happen, but it makes use.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Of course, not nobody's rooting for people to lose their jobs,
but this is not You're not a Supreme Court justice
or a pope. Everybody gets whacked, Rob g how many
times have I been whacked? I've been whacked, and I'll
get whacked more times. Alex, forget about that. You know
what you're doing with that one. You're not fooling anybody what.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
I'm just saying. You know how many times they told me, Rob,
give us your key and clicker? You know what I mean?
A lot of times the station? How many times I
have been I've probably been fired about five or six
times in my career.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
You know what I just say? Okay, I always say this,
Robs you. On my way out, is the producer all right?
Does he have his gig? Is he cool? And they say, yeah,
he's not going anywhere. Okay, I'll leave. Okay, here's my address,
send me the rest of my life money and I leave.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Okay, So I get it. You don'tkick over the trash cans. No,
I'm not doing all that.

Speaker 8 (11:07):
Slamming papers and that's knock over the pens on the
way out.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
When you look at me and you say, this guy
has survived forty years.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
Next year's forty years.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
January sixth, nineteen eighty six is when I started my career.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Forty years coming up in less than two months. You
got to have some good relationships. Then, gotta have relationships.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
You have to be able to take it on the
chin sometimes even if it's not your fault, even if
things you know what I mean, Like, sometimes people make decisions.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
In this case, Brian dave Ball could be a great guy.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Nobody's talking about him as a father and a husband
and a guy or you want to have a beer with.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Yeah, but as a head football coach. No, And it
was obvious at the end.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
And again I said it two weeks ago, and now
you look at him where he is and that medical
tent thing did play it because you remember the Giants,
fine big body the NFL, and so did he get fine?
Because that was when it became obvious that you know,
he was looking out for number one.

Speaker 8 (12:10):
And you know what's crazy about this, He finally he
got his quarterback right he was This is the quarterback
he went to bat for and the GM Joe Shane
was like, no, this is Brian dave Balls pick like
he was trying to clear himself from any other right,
and now he's the guy that's still standing. Which is
it just that that part doesn't make sense to me.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
It doesn't And they and they claim, like I saw the.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Press release something like like they feel like they got
the roster or whatever. But I was like, I don't know,
there's been a lot of mistakes. I don't know how
he's still around after the uh Saquan on the team
and Daniel Jones. So just think about that, that right
there should disqualify you as GM. Now you don't have
either one of those guys. You mishandled both of them, right,

(12:55):
and both of them are gone. So so how in
the world can you look at this guy, look him
in the face and think that he's done a great
job there.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
It's terrible. But there's a lot of bad owners and
bad management. It's just a lot.

Speaker 8 (13:08):
It all starts there, Rob it does it? Just it
all starts at the top.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
I've always said.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
That the Lions, having not won a Super Bowl ever
by accident. You know what, I mean, it's not by accident.
It's because you just haven't done the right things or
had hired the right people. The Jets have been bad
since Moby Dick was a guppy. It's because you've had
true not true.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
We had.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
We had a run there in the two thousands. Remember
that he's still having a rub all right.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine, six sixty three sixty nine. Did Brian day
Ball deserve to get whacked in New York? As the
mobsters would say? He got whacked it when with the
and do you think that he mishandled Jackson Dart. We'll
continue the conversation next with you. Eight seven seven ninety

(13:54):
nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine, six.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Sixty three sixty nine.

Speaker 3 (13:58):

Stick and stay because if you're afraid of getting whacked,
just remember what Rob Parker said, Rob g how many.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Times have I been whacked?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
I've been whacked and I'll get whacked more times in
the USA Oh.

That was two and one, no better better and it's
better than that.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Yeah, yes, that had a little player today, all that
and much more eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.
All right, carry we got some calls. We're talking about
Brian day Ball being fired. I think he mismanaged, uh
Jackson Dart. That's the reason he should be fired, because
putting that kid out there, having him designed plays, call
for him, uh, lowering his shoulder into the defense, all that,

(16:24):
and then trying to drag him out of the medical
clearance tent.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
You know how to get back in the game. Anybody
but Russell Wilson Exactly. We're gonna go to call us here.
We got we got Big Lou from the Bronx. You're
on with the odd couple How you doing, man? What's up,
Big lou Big.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
Lou from the Boogie Down Bronx, How you guys are doing?

Speaker 4 (16:42):
What's happening?

Speaker 5 (16:44):
You're like Nostra Domas in terms of predicting the future
that you knew he was going to get kabomb relate,
I've gotten.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
K We all got kabomb. Not right.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
But the thing about it is that you get to
kneel on the head where you say it starts from
the top for the leadership, the ownership. And I can
say that because I'm a long time Jets fan, a
long time suffering Jets fan, I should say, and the Jets.
The last time the Jets were good, it wasn't one
movie day. It was when Thula was walking to Earth.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
Oh wow.

Speaker 8 (17:18):
All right, big lou, Hey, big Lou, you're doing too much,
too much, Big big Loue, Big Loue.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
I will say this.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
I know it's hard to take Rex Ryan seriously with
the big white teeth.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
I understand that. But they did go to.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Back to back AFC chap okay, am all right, I'll
carry right, Yeah we did. Okay, So I'm just saying
you have to put on your sunglasses to talk to him.

Speaker 8 (17:41):
I was about to if you're got one more little
level up about I have to put the glasses on.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
But we're gonna go see what Jalen. But like chick lits,
I'm just saying, I ain't going there. I ain't going
to Rob. Let's go to Jay. Let's go to Jalen
from Texas. You know the couple. Man, How you doing
good man?

Speaker 11 (17:58):
Long time listening man for real?

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Thank you appreciate that.

Speaker 11 (18:02):
All I want to say is, Man, we will rob Man.
The fact that Daniel Jones Tekwon Barkley not only had
a good year, but they bad years. You could get
fired fired off.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
That right, It doesn't even make sense.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
He gets to stick around for what Oh well he
drafted some good players or whatever.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
Dude, get out of here and take that coach you
hired as well. Thanks for the call. Eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox.

Speaker 8 (18:28):
All right, we got Eric from Austin, Texas. You're on
with the okable Man. How are you?

Speaker 4 (18:32):
What's up? Eric?

Speaker 9 (18:33):
What up?

Speaker 7 (18:34):
Ro what up?

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Carry?

Speaker 2 (18:34):
How you guys doing?

Speaker 7 (18:35):
Man?

Speaker 4 (18:36):
I'm doing man?

Speaker 9 (18:36):
Right?

Speaker 4 (18:36):
I told you this, Eric two weeks ago. I told
you we need to think.

Speaker 11 (18:40):
Look ro Ron, look looking at the outside looking at
him as the Eagles fans. I'll just say this, like
I thought Brian dave Ball was gonna give one more
year carry you can understand this. I thought he's gigging
one more year because he finally got his quarterback. You
probably got his guy, right, They're gonna let him Matthew
develop him.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
But no, Rob, You're right, Brian dere by this man.

Speaker 11 (18:59):
It's a whole lot of things. But with that being said,
I am honestly floored that Joe says to have the
job anybody who wants, anybody who wants that hard knocks.
Joe Sayson's been fired after that, thank you. His son
even told him he miss man as his Like, I
don't know how does.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
That man's job right?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
But it don't even make sense.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
And you remember that the owner saying I really don't
want to lose squad.

Speaker 8 (19:23):
Yeah no, but that's the thing. If you're gonna fire
day Ball today fired Joe Shane as well. Yeah, And
that's all I'm saying. There's a package deal.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
There's no Shane in the Giants game.

Speaker 8 (19:32):
I'm just saying, no, No, they didn't they They weren't
rocking with that one at all.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
Rob g I mean, come on, Rob, I'm just dropping Jim.
I'm messing with you right now. I see it. I
see it. You know why because he hasn't had a
cupcake yet.

Speaker 9 (19:47):
It's because you got a twenty eight minute intro that
literally said, if you don't like the show changed, No,
we don't want you.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
To change the thing. You can turn the volume down,
but do not change the stall. Right he changed that.
Damn Rob, you gonna gie getting away with that.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
He does it.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
I'm not even here. It's Alex. I'm gonna send you
this clip. That's not mean us. Mike Tyson talking. All right, Well,
let's get your caught up. Steve de Seger's at the anchor.

tell us about your book. You got a new book,
Brady versus Belichick, the Dynasty debate? And I know is
there a centerfold in there for Belichick's My goodness?

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Here, Gary, don't let them do it to you. Gary,
tell me about the book though.

Speaker 7 (21:58):
Yeah, I decided that, you know, I was looking for
an idea of a new book. And I think this
is one of the great unanswered questions of this general
in this generation of the NFL. Is you have these
two guys, you know, both arguably the best in NFL
history of what they did, and they were together for
twenty years, got the nine Super Bowls, won six championships.

(22:18):
And who gets the credit or who gets the most credit?
They book deserve credit, obviously, but if you get to
split it up and give a percentage to each, you know,
how does that work? And so I took a deep
dive into the twenty years and talk to a million people,
and you know, it came to you know, came to

(22:39):
a conclude. I mean I had in my mind, you know,
all along, and I think most people agree it's it's Brady.

Speaker 4 (22:46):
No, No, Gary, Brady, Oh my god?

Speaker 7 (22:50):
Oh okay, good good. See's the That's the thing, Rob,
is that it's an instant debate and argument, which is
the whole purpose of writing this book. Is everybody has
an opinion. But what I was going to say is
for those of us who think it's Brady, obviously you're
not one of them, which fine, how do you split
up the percentage? You know? And I didn't take into

(23:13):
account anything that's happened before they got together in New
England or after Tom left in twenty twenty.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
I thindn't. I don't think I agree with that.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
I agree with that part, but I just I don't
know how you can look at when the Patriots are
winning no Super Bowl the top five defenses, like seriously,
like that's when they won the Super Bowl. Tom Brady
won his first super Bowl, and Gary, you know all
the numbers. His first super Bowl carried the whole postseason.
In Super Bowl he had one touchdown that year and
he actually fumbled the ball to the Raiders when they

(23:46):
beat the Rams, and that Super Bowl Brady had no
touchdowns and a pick like that. Those are two super
Bowls where he had one touchdown total, right, And if
the defense doesn't stop Atlanta that second half, Brady played well,
don't get me wrong, you know once, but they had
to stop the Falcons at that point in order to

(24:07):
even give him a chance. I just think that when
people discount the defense during that time and some of
those players. It's easy to give it to one when
you can't give it to nine or ten guys who
played defense.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
That's all awesome.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
I get it, And I certainly think the early portion
of the dynasty was all Belichick y, you know, because
you know, I mean he drafted him in the sixth round.
He probably wasn't even get drafted at all. He was
very instrumental in his development. He kept him as a
four string quarterback as a rookie, which not tink. He's
four quarterbacks in their active roster. And then when Bletsoe

(24:44):
was healthy two months after he got injured against the
Jets in one, he stuck with Brady when he could
have easily gone back to Bledsoe. And you're right, I
mean that was the defense and dominated team. They ran
the ball really well.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
And Adam Vanitary which we didn't mention, one of the
greatest kickers.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Gary.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Imagine if Adam van Terry missed two kicks, nobody would
be talking about Tom like that's how close it is.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
Like to like he missed two kicks to win super Bowls.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
And if you remember when they beat Carol was it
the Panther When they beat the Panthers. You remember how
the game winning field goal was set up the kicker
kicked the ball out of bounds on a kick off.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
That's right. I'm just saying, like, seriously, that's right.

Speaker 7 (25:30):
But Brady, you have to get Brady credit because from
that last drive and the first Super Bowl against the Rams,
when John Madden is saying, you know, play for overtime,
and and Belichick, you know, tells Charlie Weiss on the
sidelines to tell Brady, you know, nothing stupid here, don't
be a hero, and they called safe passes for him

(25:51):
until they got you know, about to about the forty
yard line. And you know, Brady was really good on
that drive. I mean, he was great. And that's what
we realized that there was something special about him. But
they won that Super Bowl because they knocked the crap
out of Marshall Falk every time he touched the ball
and got away with it.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
It was averaging thirty five points again when they have thirteen.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
What they I don't know was the greatest show. It
was like that I'm.

Speaker 7 (26:17):
Trying to remember the final score that it was a
twenty to seventeen something like.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
That like that.

Speaker 7 (26:21):
Yeah, but I you know, I think that the it
all kind of turned you O seven when they had
the undefeated season. You know, Belchik got caught up in
the Spygates stuff. Tom threw fifty touchdown passes, which was
then the record, and they come within you know, David

(26:43):
Tyree's helmet of being the first nineteen or oh team
in NFL history, and they would have been remembered as
the greatest single season team in NFL history. Uh. That's
where I think the balance of power started to shift.
Three Super Bowls in I think people realize this guy
not only was better than Peyton Manning, but he was

(27:07):
at that point at least as good as Joe Montana
and then subsequently surpassed him. So I think the seventh
season is really when everybody started taking notice of Brady
that he was an all timer. And if you look
at the first three Super Bowls, I did the first
one probably to Belichick. The second one, they see the
defense did not play well. In the second one against

(27:29):
Carolina against Jake delom and they have a bunch of points.
The third one, the defense played great. The best player
on the field for the Eagles was Carol Owens exactly.
The defense played really well in that game, and I
really thought the second half of the Dynasty was all Brady.

(27:49):
I mean, it was all Brady.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
Well let's go, Yeah, we got a couple. Of course,
I think that debate would go on for a long time.

Speaker 8 (27:57):
I want to switch it to I want to switch
it to the Giants, Gary and obviously Brian day Ball
got the acts today, and I want to know obviously
there's some the tenor in the room around that team.
There's you know, this could be totally different if they
win the four games, they're up by double digits and
all that. But I want to know if there's other
things Bruin that got him fired. But also, why is

(28:18):
Joe Shane not on that train with light.

Speaker 7 (28:21):
Well, that's a good question, and I think a lot
of people asking that. And we know he's sticking around
because the Giants announced he's leading the search for the
new head coach, which.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Is crazy to me.

Speaker 7 (28:34):
Which is crazy, Well, I mean the way they explained
it was they think he's the personnel is better. But listen,
you can't use injuries as an excuse. But the Giants
have been over the last ten years, actually longer than that,
ever since Tom Coffin got hired here in four and

(28:55):
he basically said the injuries are a cancer and made
it seem like it was something that you know, you
can just rid the locker room of, rather than realizing
that it does happen. Ever since that point, it's almost
like the Giants of Pain for that statement, because they've
been such an injured team for twenty years. But you know,

(29:15):
you lost mylak neighbors in the first game that Dark started,
and Scataboo went out of you know, a couple weeks
going in the game in Philly, So a lot of
like that's that was like the trio that was going
to lead the Giants to perhaps having respectable record, and
now Dark gets hurt yesterday without all three of them.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
But Gary, what about you saw it on a hard
knocks I mean not only did he give it a
SA quad but also Danny Dimes, So I mean, I
hear the injury thing and you don't have guys, But
even then, that was a decision right there that I
thought was crazy bad. Even at the time he goes

(29:58):
to your division rival helped him win a Super Bowl.
Well yeah, I mean that that to me is I
was good after that with him.

Speaker 7 (30:07):
Well, Rob absolutely, they should have kept Saquon, But realistically,
say Kun was not running for two thousand yards and
winning the Super Bowl with the Giants, he probably would
have had about eight hundred yards after ten or eleven
games and then gotten hurt because that's what was happening.
The Giants offensive line isn't anything like Philadelphia's. If he

(30:29):
had just gone somewhere other than silly, I think Giant
fans would have been okay with that. But the fact
that he went to and helped him win the Super Bowl,
you know, it's unforgivable. Daniel Jones had run its scores here.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
No, I'm not a Daniel Jones guy either, but I
I just it's hard for me to look at I
look at everybody as a package kind of and to
throw one guy out and act like the other guy
had nothing to do with it.

Speaker 7 (30:55):
But that's not always how it works, right.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
No, I'm not always, not always, I agree, not always.
In this case, the Giants, to me, they just have
been bad for a long stretch.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Now, all right, Gary, we got to run.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
But your book, I want to let everybody know they
could get it anywhere correct, anywhere.

Speaker 7 (31:13):
Online, any any bookstores, Amazon, any of your other online services.
And it's good to touch you guys. Robie, haven't had
me on for a while, and carry. Like I said before,
I haven't seen you forever. I hope everything is good
as good as.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
It can be hanging out with me for three hours.

Speaker 7 (31:29):
You know that, Kerry, how's the acting career company he's getting.

Speaker 8 (31:34):
Gary, Yeah, it's going well, acting, music, producing, all the stuff.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Man, he was a good actor because he acts like
he likes me when he's here. Philadem for Kelvin.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
But Gary, the new book is Brady Versus Belichick, the
Dynasty debate, and Gary, we'll have you on again.

Speaker 4 (31:51):

just do a deeper dive into the debate about.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
That brings my total up to sixty seven and sixty
one on the year. And now let's go to the
night I got my best bet. I got the Milwaukee
Bucks minus two and a half in Dallas taking on
the Mavericks. I got Weimby and the Spurs minus four

(34:39):
and a half.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
Everyone knows swim forgot about that? No, no, no, no, yes,
Wimby and the Spurs. When get that ready again? What
did you say? His name was rap Wimby.

Speaker 6 (34:52):
Everyone knows swim One more time?

Speaker 4 (34:58):
Got a lot?

Speaker 3 (34:59):
No here we one knows twim Oh my goodness, love it.
Spurs minus four and a half in that game. Uh,
taking on the Bulls in Chicago. The Bulls are pretty
good this year, playing well. And I got the Eagles
plus one. They're in green Bay. It looks cold in

(35:21):
Green Bay, Yes it is.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
I you know.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
I covered plenty of games.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
There because you don't know when I was in Detroit
with the Lions and going there once.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
I've been covering the NFL since nineteen eighty seven. Thank
you alex So again.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Uh, Eagles plus one, Wemby in the Spurs minus four
and a half.

Speaker 6 (35:41):
Every one knows the twim and the Bucks minus two
and a half taking on the Dallas maverage and remember
this carry.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
I'm not telling you who'd have bet on. I'm telling
you you w on no doubt about it, all right,
U Rob g How in the world this executive who
came out and he still does not trust Jalen Hurts?

Speaker 4 (36:10):
How is this even possible?

Speaker 9 (36:12):
Yeah, the Eagles about to kick off, hearing about twenty minutes,
and the athletic caught up. Excuse me, Mike Sander with
the athletic friend of the show caught up with an
anonymous executive to say, hey, now that we're about how
we do the season, how are you handicapping the NFC
playoff race? When they got to the Eagles, this exec
set and of course anonymous, the Rams have Stafford, the

(36:34):
Lions got Golf, the Seahawks got Darnold. I trust all
of those guys more than Jalen Hurts. That's why I
camp put them near the top of the comp a.

Speaker 4 (36:43):
What a joke that is.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Trust them based on what Jalen Hurts has played in
two Super Bowls and played very well and both phenomenal.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
He could be two and oh okay, what are you talking?

Speaker 3 (36:55):
Please tell me what possibly Sam Darnold did other than
we the bed in the two biggest games of the
year last year.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
Please tell me who else did he have? Golf? Jered
Matthew Stafford.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Jered Goff got to the Super Bowl. He was so
good that the Rams couldn't wait to trade him out.
He didn't go to the Lions because the Lions lucked
out and got him.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
They didn't want him he yet, and they sent him
to Siberia your own purpose.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
That's what they thought that when they sent him, they
thought he was going to NFL Siberia.

Speaker 9 (37:25):
Yes, yes, he must be talking about Goff's last playoff
game against the Commanders.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Maybe that's what he trusts him about.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Yeah, yeah, is it that game when he had four
he'll turn three interceptions and a fumble, Right, I mean,
that's the game you trust him in. And then Stafford,
for all the love for Matthew Stafford Sequoski tard Is
one interception. You saw it in the NFC Championship game.
It was right to him. He saved Matthew Stafford's bacon.

(37:54):
I'm still sick over it.
