You can always tell when somebody had a meeting when
they wear a grown up shirt on.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
He had court. Yeah, he had court. Yeah he had
a little meeting. You know how I go.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
I hope he had hope. I hope they didn't take
you man, I hope I hope you good. He might
have got reminded it was really what he really is. Yeah,
that's got to be racist. Sometimes the course will remind you,

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Hit me with it. That's got to be racist, racist?
Why why you don't want the brother? I do like Elijah?
Speaker 5 (02:48):
It was that was that person that counts free do
y'all keep Elijah the box, I see everybody, y'all keep
him in the basement.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
I don't know what it is, Mancy. Is he under
the desk in there? Where is he at?
Speaker 6 (03:00):
What?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
It is amazing when he just pops up just out
of nowhere, out of the blue. And when you see him,
you gotta enjoy it him because that'll be the last
time I meet him again. To going back like we
won't see him again until the fall, like we see
him now, uh and like and always as we do
and always remember.
Speaker 7 (03:19):
The film, Sweetie, what you're supposed to see never misses
the show, Sweedy ded Manty tell him you, sweetie, beaty.
Speaker 5 (03:36):
She's also not on your team now she's not on
my team. All right, a lot to get you. Let's
start this on this. You want me to be up
here looking.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Like express and show your vocals, That's what I want. Okay,
Oh but if it was.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
All right, you saw like the sixth heart beat, the
one that didn't make the five ourt feats.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
All right, let's get to it.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Fat man A so so started off with the current
Super Bowl champs and Nick Sirianni, who of course is
the coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, and he, interestingly enough,
had some things to say, some thoughts about how people use.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
The term repeat.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
You know you're gonna repeat, You're gonna win it again,
You're gonna repeat, And he didn't necessarily like that term.
He basically said, he looks at it as this is
a new mountain we have to climb. I know you're
making the same face as I was making. And he
wants to focus on this. He doesn't want to tie
this season, that season. Whatever you want to call it, repeat,
call it drake bag to back. Do you want to
(04:37):
call it do it again? You know it doesn't matter
to me, Ephraim. The fact of the matter is, you
guys should be putting it on the inmphasis on getting
it done, because if they have the nerve to go
back to back em then to me, there's a big divide,
a big separator that becomes created for a lot of
their peers. And who I'm talking about is a couple
(04:57):
of people. Nick Sirianni to be one. Nick Siriani has
a chance to win the Super Bowl, went to another
one lost. But then if he were to come back
and repeat, even though he doesn't want to say that, well,
look now you've won two, you've been to three, and
you start to separate yourself from the peers. To me
that we always put him under the Matt lafleur Is
(05:18):
and the Sean mcvays and the Kyle Shanahans. Those are
the brilliant minds we think of, right all this young
new crop of quarterback I mean coaches, he's you know,
these brilliant minds, these offensive gurus, these guys who quarterback
whispers and all this stuff. Well, to me, this last championship,
he won that in a bunch of disgruntled ways. Right
(05:38):
the season, the summer before him and Jalen Hurts getting
into it, they had to have a Kumbaya moment. And
then he's getting into it with fans, and then they
started off rough the season before and people were starting
to wonder do they need to call for a job
and he's having all these issues. So now him winning
it definitely cleans the slate with some of that, Ephraim,
but I think there's still some that people have. Well,
(05:59):
if I had that off to line that front line
and I had, say kwon, Barkley arguably could have had
the greatest season of a running back ever if he
wanted to, if he went out there and got it
that last game, I could have won that. And so
I think people will maybe hold that against him. But
if he were to come back, bounce back, get to
the super Bowl and win it again, now you got
to say, well, why is Sean McVay a better coaching right? Well,
why is Matt Lafleur, Why is Kyle Shanning? All these
(06:21):
younger hip guys that you want to put him above,
he can look them out of the eye and say
I'm the one with two. And then also Jalen Hurts,
Jalen Hurts, keep you we had you on. We were
talking about he's number nine. They had the rankings ESPN quarterback.
Some people feel he should have been hired. Some people
feel it's about right. Well, if he starts to go
back and win another one. Now he's got two and
(06:42):
have been to three. I played the number one quarterback,
Patrick Mahomes and two of them. Now, obviously we don't
know who his opponent would be in this hypothetical third.
If he were to win, maybe it's Patrick again and
he wins. Point is, now you can start to look
some of the guys. Why y'all always talking to all lamar.
I get it, he's got all the MVPs, But I'm
the one that's got super Bowl in v I. You
know he were to go again and win, and you're
(07:02):
talking about Josh Allen. Okay, but look at me and
Joe Burrow. We don't even know if he can he
win a game in the first couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
How about that? And to me, Jalen Hurts has a
chance to become a separation. So I'm all in. You
strike while the iron's hot.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Front line on both sides of the ball, great great
running back, We'll still got some tread on those tires.
Jalen Hurts in his prime, You're brought your receivers in
their prime. To me, This is absolutely why I'm trying
to go back to back to repeat, whatever you want
to call it, the new mountaintop, but I want to
get it done now.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
First off, the term is back to back, the term
is repeat. It's the mountaintop for him. Just because you
don't want to call it, that doesn't take the pressure
off of you and your team to do it. And
I understand what he's trying to do. As a coach.
I don't want my guys focusing on that. I want
them coming in fresh, starting the season and training camp
(07:51):
without putting a bulls eye on ourselves. Well, that's not
the reality of the situation. And reality of the situation
is everybody's gunning for you. And in terms of whether
I think they will repeat or and you know, represent
the NFC in the Championship Game again, the Super Bowl again,
(08:12):
I don't know, because say what you want, what are
the chances of say, Kwon Barkley having a comparable year
that he just had and it took one of the
greatest individual seasons of a running back ever to get
(08:37):
them to this victory. There is no question about what's
different between last year's team, the year before, and the
year prior.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
We know what that is.
Speaker 5 (08:49):
That was a beast, an animal by the name of
Saquon Barkley, who had a lot to prove. Was not
valued at his first round just so happens to be
in the same division. So he had a lot on
his mind and he was nothing but a professional. He
could have broke record after record after record. He should have.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
He should have. I agree what he was.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
Come on, well, they won the super Bowl, all right,
he could say, Hey, because I did those things, we
got this. So that's that's that's the reasoning that he's
going to live with. Will he have another one of
those years?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Does he have to have one?
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Yes, because because they fact without him, he wasn't even
on the team they lost, but they got there without him.
And then you know twenty was a twenty eighteen I
believe it was. When they won, they didn't have a
Sakwan Barkley.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
No.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
But what they found out was if Jalen Hurts has
to throw the ball thirty to thirty five times a game,
they're a different ball club. That's what they know. They
know that can he throw the ball? Absolutely, he's a
Super Bowl winning quarterback. I can't take anything away from him.
(10:05):
But Their recipe is everyone sees that. Everyone knows that,
so everyone's going to prepare for that. They're going to
make him have to throw the ball more than twenty
five times a game. That's what the new mandate will
be going into these games, and so it won't be
(10:28):
as seamless as let's let's let twenty six handle the
brunt of the load. You're going to have to come
up with other ways to win ball games, and Jalen
Hurts is a big part of that. AJ Brown may
not have the opportunity to read his self help books
on the sideline just may not be right because they're
(10:51):
going to have to be able to throw the ball
down the field. You gotta remember it. They were winning.
And the biggest knock on first of all, Sirianni when
you talk about out La floors and the Shanahan's and
the mcveay's and all of them, they're likable people. True,
his own fan base didn't like him. Now that's problematic
(11:13):
self and winning winning here, winning here is all. But
you gotta remember they were talking about he was in
the hot seat and they were on a nine game
winning streak, Like.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
How do make that makes sense? We talked about it
here Robin I.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
And so it's not so much the winning that's going
to endear him with a broad spectrum of of of
you know, analysts and and fans that revere the.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Other coaches that we mentioned. It's just something about him
that you just like prickling.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Every sport has those guys they do where you're just like, yeah, no,
but like like when's it? But it's like, you know
who's like that? Lane Kiffin? Yes, I think we all
careeriz he's a good not saying he's an all time great,
and he's got a lot to still prove, but he's
a good he's a good coach.
Speaker 5 (12:04):
But something about him makes everybody go, it's just what
it is. And and I think Nick falls into that category.
No matter how much he's winning, no matter how much
he's doing, it always feels like at some point they're
(12:24):
gonna want to replace it. You know who else is
like that?
Speaker 3 (12:27):
A lot less replaceable but winning, having a lot of success.
But still I think some people go, he a little
too high strong for me. Dan Hurley, Yeah, Dan Hurley
winning you would think, man, this is great. When it
went back to back, we got all this going on
but something it's a little too it's Bobby Knight back,
is this young Knight?
Speaker 4 (12:46):
That's what? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
And I think so there's something that last point I
want to make on this one. You we talked about pressure.
I do get the sentiment about I don't want to
add extra pressure. Every season is its own pressure because
we only get seventeen of these things right. We got
everyone matters, and I think that's something we heard with
the pay the Chiefs. But Patrick Mahone's talking about it recently.
He said, they said, what's this, what's kind of what's
(13:08):
the ethos of this season?
Speaker 4 (13:09):
This team? What do you think?
Speaker 3 (13:10):
And he said, we just want to have fun again.
He said, I think a lot of us put too
much pressure on ourselves because we were trying to do
what Noboe had done in three p And he was saying,
we're trying to three peat, and so we were a
little wild tight and we got to get it done
and I gotta And he was saying, now it's like
since we lost, obviously got to the super Bowl and
had a shot at it, didn't do it. Now it's
back to our right, get back to what we do.
(13:31):
Have fun and it does help when you're getting guys back.
That definitely makes it easier on the receiving side. But
I get that sentiment, and I do going back to
what you said, I wonder if Nick Sirianni has a
little bit of that, Like, I don't want us to
be so tight that we're trying to go back to
back that we're not doing what's best and being who
we are because guys are trying to over be, you know,
overproduce and trying to make that extra play when it's like, no,
(13:51):
just do what you're supposed to.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
Do and we'll be fine. It's tough, man, because the
target is bigger. That's true, There is no question. Now
the target is bigger, and it's going to make it
difficult for them just to come in and just you know,
focus on them. They're gonna have to focus on all
of it because every time before every game, it's the
raining Super Bowl champions, it's.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
The you know, can they do this?
Speaker 5 (14:11):
Can they All of the players and the coaches will
be asked this game if they go on the two
game slide, a three game slide, will Nick Sirianni's name
be up on the hot seat again? Will they be asked, Hey,
what's what's difference between last year and all of that
is now at a heightened state and they're gonna have
to learn how to deal with it now with you know,
(14:32):
heavy is the head and you're everybody's super Bowl if
you're the Panthers, guy, I gotta get We might not
want to get you twice, We want to at least
beat you. And oh, by the way, there's a team
in your division who has something to say about that. Yeah,
that's true. Quarterback quarterback and they just got better this offseason. Well,
(14:53):
they might want to sign a receiver that that might
that'll help, all right, So we'll see if he can
embrace the back to back. Maybe they'll start playing Drake
a little bit something in the locker room or something
and get Braceland Drake.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah, I'm sorry, No, that's a good pump dra fan
Monzi probably does. Yeah, she loves Drake. You look like
a Draker. You like Drake?
Speaker 8 (15:12):
Dounti absolutely, but I was recording something, so that's fine.
But all I need to know you like Drake, don't you?
You look like a Drake and you're from on the
rocks Kenji roving around his bed right now? You over
here from La.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
You look anyway, all right, La, there is another star
quarterback that is sticking up for his teammates.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
We'll tell you we're talking about. It is The Odcouple.
Speaker 3 (15:31):

so he's having baby. I don't know what you're talking about,
but it is. Come on a worship Wednesday, allegedly with
Calvin Washington from We Are the Eye Couple Eat from
and for Rob.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
It's too much, and for for for Workship Wednesday. For me, okay,
I'll get you on the next one, but I still
want to just write the name down. I might you know.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
I got but you called it though. Anybody can have
a good taste here is six with seven. You know
I'm sitting next to him, so this face it's mad.
Six eight, My bad one. Stall them, I'll be sicking.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
I'll make choices. Enough from my favorite line I've ever used. Now,
we all make choices. We all make choices.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
Yeah whatever, don't get me started with you the Genetic Library,
lottery shows.
Speaker 5 (17:44):
Look at your chair. It's all up high. So when
they look at us on social media, I look six
foot four. At least it looks like we're the same
high six foot You know.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
I got a hold.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
I got a ladder to get down once I get
First of all, I told you I'm excited about my
five foot ten eleven is I was four eleven high
school even for eleven or eleven, So right, I feel
six eight got.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Taller you now, five five three? Don't do that. I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
People click and then they move on, and so it's
somebody who just left right what I'm saying. They were like, Man,
I heard that dude only five to two under six three.
Probably it's all the same for me. You're not even
on my phone. Get off my phone. It all looks
the same to me. All right, let's get to what
we were just like Rob, who's taller between you and Rob?
Speaker 4 (18:27):
Oh? Rob g?
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Yeah, Rob g about but I was gonna roaster but
I'm not gonna roast me. Five six seven yeah, see,
just the same. So you got the same height.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
I'm almost six onemost six with the right jays with
the right jays on you was the right jays Okay, Yeah,
I'm six Okay, most people think I'm about six six
and whatever that's saying. You know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
I was going to the whole we were posting about
six six yo, Hi, by b think I was your wife?
Five seven, five seven. I've seen pictures of you guys together.
It's you're not six this you have heels on. You're
not six feet talk I kids, this definite. Why at
least you're not like Rob got screenshots to my wife.
Oh that's a whole another show. This is worship Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
Guys.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
He's got all right, he's got everybody that has screenshot
of everybody. Alex's babe, Rob gez mine. He probably got
one of yours.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
Oh no, he does not. So ready for the weekend,
hear you? Or just Monday?
Speaker 3 (19:23):
All right, let's get you a real quick ephrom h
of course do your some have summer plans and then
they include a new job. Want to work with an
expert in local job markets to find the right role,
just call your local Express Emplment professionals go to expresspros
dot com and Express never charges job seekers and feet
real quick before we get to trending here with Monti
in a minute. Joe Burrow has been speaking up for
(19:46):
his guys t Higgins, Jamar Chase and now Trey Hendrickson.
He was asked today about you know, his absence right now.
We know Trey Henderson is in Florida and his home.
He posted a picture, Hey, I'm at the crib. I'm
not with the team right now.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
The team has.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Said, you know, we made them an offer. We don't
know what's going on, and Trey like, no, they disrespect
me with the offer. So they said they don't even
they only offer me guaranteed money after the first year.
So it's just a bunch of issues going on with them.
But I like that Joe Burrow is speaking up. He's
not blasting the organization crazily, but he's speaking up. He
said hey, and he said it or last time he said,
(20:21):
why can't we be like the Eagles, and that they
found a way to get everybody in. They found a
way to get everybody signed. They found a way to
lock in and move forward, and obviously to the tune
of a Super Bowl and he's saying, you know, why
can't we do that? And one of the things that
I like that he acknowledged was he said, Hey, I
understand it's a business and it's difficult and guys have
to get what they can. But this is the part
I liked e He said, yeah, you gotta signed guys
(20:44):
earlier to get things done. Stop waiting around. Jerry Jones
might have been listening to somewhere. Stop waiting around. Then
it gets too much money, or then it's too much
guaranteed money, or then it's too many years. Because they're
trying to mimic the guy, the guy who got signed
before you. In this case, you got teacher. Yeah, scept them.
Now you're trying, Oh, well, we want to pay you,
but not that much. Don't you don't have to do that.
(21:06):
If you just see, you know what, this guy's coming up,
he's about to be one of the ones. Let's just
knock it out now. Look, and he's doing that. Joe
Burrow reminds me of of my kids when we're on
vacation in the sun. I didn't hear that. I didn't
see that coming. Okay, I want to hear this all right.
When you say, hey, you had a hell of a
(21:28):
year at school, all right, what do you want for
your birthday? And they say, well, I want to do
my oldest son is theme park nut right, it's either
Disneyland VIP trip universal VIP trip, but the VIP trip right, okay,
with all the bells and whistles. So he goes, and
(21:52):
I said, okay, I would do Universal VIP trip. He said, okay,
I want to bring Daniel, I want to bring Justin.
I want to bring uh so and so and so
and so and so and so on.
Speaker 5 (22:03):
And it's that's seven eight people VIP people by the way,
and I'm like, uh, calm down, cut that in half
because your mom and your dad and your brother have
to go as well. So what just us it's for?
It's six hundred dollars a person. Oh yeah, no, they
can't come, right, No. So what you'll do is you'll
(22:25):
take him, right, you'll take him, You'll take his brother, yep,
and you'll give him a friend. Right, So Joe Burrow
got paid, Tee Hingings got paid, Chase got paid. Now
you're adding people to the trip, right, You're you're not
worried about my wallet or what we got going on
(22:47):
over here financially, you're just adding names to the VIP list. Oh,
I want to issue because you don't have any concept
of what's happening and what has to happen in order
to bring them on the trip. So when I'm hearing
Joe Burrow speak up for his guys, of course Joe
(23:08):
Burrow isn't paying his guys. When you pay two receivers
like top of the market, brother, we've done all we're
going to do for you. Now it's their fault. This
is a historically cheap franchise period facts. This is just
(23:30):
what the numbers say. They've already gotten outside of their
comfort zone by bringing up both of redoing both of
the receivers and paying them what they're paying them, they've
already they already feel uncomfortable. So now this new number
for an edge rusher heading into his prime is outrageous.
(23:54):
It's on part with what they're making, and so it's
easy for the kid to be like I want to bring.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Him along, him along, him along, him along.
Speaker 5 (24:04):
And him along, And at a certain point as a parent,
I'm like, you can bring Daniel and justin everybody else
go ahead to catch you for cake and ice cream
at the crib or pull up with their parents.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
I have a butt to that magna stallion size on
the other side. But right now we got to get
to it's trending with Manzi.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Okay, better for real?
Speaker 6 (24:27):
Did you know I was a VIP tour guide at
Universal Studio.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
Sound was not even a lot and I was like, yeah,
it's serious you So do you have the Do you
have the hook up? Give you for v A No?
Universal and Subcess we can talk about it.
Speaker 11 (24:42):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
I don't have it for vi P. You know what
I'm saying. You hurting my wallet right now? You telling
you that I ain't gonna lie. I expected about half
of that one. Yeah, it used to be used to be.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
It used to be like two fifty.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
That's exactly right, Not exactly right, j everybody had. How
did it go from two fifty to six?
Speaker 4 (25:04):
It sell out?
Speaker 2 (25:05):

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Kelvin Washington, Rob Sterling Junior Alex Alex hit me with
the Rob Sterling Jr.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Because he's here, Rob Sterling Jr. I didn't know Rob
Sterling Jr.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
Was here.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
I thought it was Evans Alive.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
All right, I'm here, Hey, Alex, can you turn on
the Yankees because Aaron Judge was about to be a
bat bat.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
Now, what I'm saying was, we're watching to the.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Same day deal with e Rob Parker and his love
affair with Aaron Jones.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
He will admit he's in love.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
No, he is.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
We could be in the most heated you know, he
gets spit flying everywhere, going crazy debate.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
But if for some reason Aaron Judge was up the
bat what you mean, there's no there's no way. Yeah,
I bet Rob.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
And he acts like he has a eye watching nothing.
I don't care about nothing, nothing mattered. I'm just a reporter,
not when it comes to the Yankees and Aaron Judge.
All right, real quick, getting back to this conversation that
we were talking about.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
Does that make sense?
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Though, I gotta give you that that was a great analogy,
especially somebody who has kids.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
You already know what. Don't think they have no idea.
We don't go there. So Joe out here just spending
everybody a month's money.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Here, here's my one challenge, a to your point, historically
cheap franchise. We know that, and a reminder, though I
do want to say to at least being fair to them,
I will say this. Sometimes we have to remind fans,
you know this. Everybody ain't Steve Balmer.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
I got crazy money. I brought money from this other stuff.
A lot of these franchises you named the sport. It
was family run and my dad, my granddad got it.
And it's all we got. We got a couple bucks
here and there.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
But this is it.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
You know, everybody ain't walking around Steve Ballmer. This's my
little play thing.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
I have fun with this because I'm also worth like
a two hundred billion or whatever he's I don't even
know what he's worth.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
Now. Well, it's different for basketball and football.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
Now it'll be a little bit different now for basketball
towards that the second apron. But for football, you get
you have to spend the money how you spend it.
That's what good gms are for. So if you decided
I want to spend the bulk of the money on
these two guys, well these three guys offensively, then you
(27:38):
don't you alienate your your veteran all pro edg rusher,
and then you alienate your first round draft.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Pick edge rusher, which we didn't even get to that part.
Then you don't even care about defense. He is the
only first rounder now that's not signed. And on the
side of the ball even that you need, it's not
like it was. Let's say he was another receiver, like
we can hold all We'll figure this thing out. We're
good receiver. That's the side of the ball you need.
Hubbard retires. TJ is sitting in Florida somewhere with our alligators.
(28:08):
You're not signing Stewart. How did the defense approve.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
You're it didn't.
Speaker 5 (28:12):
It got worse, actually, and the fact that they just
went through this experiment last year having the type of
offense that was setting the world on fire. Joe Morrow
threw for almost five thousand yards. Crazy t Hgkins has
seventeen hundred.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
I believe.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
J said he had no, no, no, he had nine
hundred and twenty something or eleven something like that. Almost
only played twelve games, and so t Higgins only had,
you know, played twelve games. So roughly, you get over
a thousand yards per receiver. You have a quarterback throwing
(28:51):
for you know, almost one thousand yards, I mean four thousand,
five thousand yards, and you don't make the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
I mean, this is this is a I remember they
were zero and four or whatever.
Speaker 5 (29:01):
They started so slow, which they've done every year, even
the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Since twenty twenty one. They're one and seven in the
first two weeks. So we got to be better. We
have to be back.
Speaker 5 (29:13):
Keep shooting oursel on the follow all right, we'll bounce
back offensively. They're going to be okay defensively. Can they
stop anybody? Or are they going to have to score
forty two points a game? And that's what they were
having to do last year.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
And still took ls in games where like you said,
Jake time l I mean we talk about all the
time in the show, Lamar Jackson. You're facing him and
you're gonna have to face him twice minimally, somebody better
be able to stop.
Speaker 4 (29:35):
Um.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Somebody's got stopping Joe Burrow threw nine touchdowns and didn't
win them to get one of the games.
Speaker 5 (29:40):
Look man, you got it. And then A Cleveland's gonna
be better. That's the divisional game, so it's gonna be tough.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Regardless. Pittsburgh on paper should be better. I don't know
about it, but they should be better. And then obviously
more games. Last The last thing I was gonna say
was Joe Burrow knows his legacy is tied to this franchise.
What I mean is he can keep doing what he
did last year. Numbers MVP can't the numbers doing all this.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
But what if that was it?
Speaker 3 (30:04):
What if he is our generation Dan Marino of got
there early and that was it, you know what I mean,
got there early in his career. You like Joe Burrow
be back. He's look at his received look at it,
dude in the AFC. You feel like Lamar Jackson at
some point going to crash the party, super Bowl party.
Josh Allen gonna crash the super Bowl party at some point?
(30:24):
Does Justin Herbert crash at some point?
Speaker 4 (30:26):
You know? C. J.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
Stroud might crash. At some point he was leading the others.
There you go, he was ahead of everyone else. He
was number one of the others outside of Patrick Mahomes.
And now he's dropped down to about third.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
And again with his team, he might not even be
third place team wise, you know what I mean, maybe
talent wise, but team wise.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
Well, Buffalo got better, yep, Houston got better.
Speaker 5 (30:52):
Got Baltimore some defenders yet, right, so even the Steelers
possibly have got it, got it.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
They got some guys, Sleigh Ramsey. I mean they got
a bunch of older guys that they were relying on.
Speaker 5 (31:06):
You know, relying on older guys with with with championship
experience or playoff experience is not a bad thing, especially
if they're in the right spots.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
Now.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
Having Aaron Rodgers there, we'll see right right, he definitely
has people to throw to. They have defense. And so
the Steelers may have gotten better this offseason. But can
you honestly say the Bengals got better? No, And I
think you got more disgruntled, which is never a good thing.
(31:38):
As you know.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
All right, Jeff t had to do a little say something. Oops,
I didn't mean it like that.
Speaker 3 (31:44):

explain it. You'll hear from Jeff t We'll have that

Jesus to something. Heap spitting though, all right, I meant

(33:23):
mobile tire installation tirerack dot com The way tire buying
should be. All right, I wanted to throw this one
at you, Jeff t You know, he's got the podcast
and he had said this about Lebron, which got a
little controversy around.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
It got people fired up. Mim, he was on steroids, bro,
he had to sit out.
Speaker 11 (33:42):
He was on steroids for real, legit, it was on steroids, bro,
I'm allegedly, but like he had to sit out.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
But you'll remember when they.
Speaker 11 (33:51):
Told him, like they plus sports all yeah though now
they was like he got everybody they started chasing testing
for agh and they was like yo, and he had
to sit out, like he said, his back was her
and he set out for like three weeks and he
came back. Skinny was just I was in the league.
I remember, Okay, Now, so t people love Jef Tige,
(34:13):
rob G, would you agree?
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Jeff Tige is one of the more popular basketball podcast
the last two or three years. He's because he's very
We're like a great example Paul George. You know he
said some things that he would never go there just
because he just a he's still in the league. Be
he's a little more politically savvy. He wouldn't necessarily do
something like that. You know, d Wade has his now
we know he wouldn't say a lot of people wouldn't
(34:36):
go that far. Gilbert and Jeff Tigue are the two
kind of guys who they give zero. Yes, those are
the two. Paul Pierce a little bit, but some here
is just be coming from hate. Now I said that
to say he backtracked, rob G. What did Jeff Tigu say?
Speaker 6 (34:52):
Oh, immediately the black SUV's pulled up and he's like,
I got to put a retraction out.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
Clutch Sports pulled up on him.
Speaker 6 (34:57):
What's allegedly now he put out on on his social media,
y'all weird. I was joking about Braun. He was just
that dominant chill.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
No, okay, nope, nope, nope. Hey man, can you do
me a favorite? Robb G? Can you play that again?
Can you play that again? Play that sound again? He
was on steroids, Bro, he had to sit out. He
was on steroids for real.
Speaker 11 (35:25):
Legit was on steroids, brom allegedly, but like, he had
to sit out.
Speaker 4 (35:30):
But you'll remember when they told him, like the plus for.
Speaker 11 (35:35):
They was like everybody they started chasing testing for g
H and they was like, yo, he had to sit out,
Like he said, his back was her and he set
out for like three weeks and he came back skinny.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
Just I was in the league.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
I remember, you know how I know he wasn't in
several ways. But let me let you cook first of all,
when you go into when you go into.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
That much.
Speaker 5 (36:01):
Specificity with a time line, Look, there are timeline markers
within this story. Y'all don't remember when they started testing
for HGH and he had to sit out for real, allegedly.
Speaker 4 (36:24):
The Paul.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
We all Paul when we know we go shoot man,
let me and and then what happens is when you
try to bring others in. Y'all remember that, you remember that,
Remember when he sat out for like three weeks and
then let's said his back was hurting and it came
back all skinny.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
I remember I was in the league that None of
that has a punchline in it. None of that has
a punchline in it. You're telling what you believe to
be a factual story, and you did it with a
guy who's still playing. And because he's still playing, he
(37:06):
is currently the face of the league, right, I mean, yes,
we've been trying to plant him and have somebody else
to pass it.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
It just hasn't happened. So you can't say that about
a guy.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
This isn't like yo, Remember when Lebron played in the
twenty twenty and we're in twenty thirty eight. Yeah, this
is the guy who's still playing, the guy who's the
face of the league, the guy who Adam silver On won,
no drama, no smoke. That's the last thing I need
coming out in some controversy right now, trying to fix
the league. And I don't need this, And this is
how you see the power of it. And Jeff Tige
(37:37):
rarely does the backtracking. Jeff Tigue is known for saying
what I said, and I said what I said and
has been beloved for that. That's how you know it
got real for him to put up man, and anybody watched.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
This ro e from you know this. He blamed it
on us. He blamed us. Y'all are still with y'all,
goofy whatever, y'all weird.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
You put it on us that you put major major,
I mean you almost went investigative reporter.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
You don't put up he did?
Speaker 5 (38:06):
Hey, when you put the Times an ID channel level investigating.
Now again, if that's what he felt, and there are
people who might you know, always question stuff like that,
but then you got.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
To stand on that. To me, dude, just stand on it.
You can't backtrack off of that and then put it
on us. Hey out here dry snitching boy. They just
just let it all out.
Speaker 5 (38:28):
Man.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
Look, this is what I know for a fact.
Speaker 5 (38:31):
In this day and age, people will tell on themselves
and throw unders others under the bus.
Speaker 4 (38:41):
For clicks and views.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
Oh now that listen, we touch a whole arm off
for a million views. Dude, I tell people. One of
my favorite phrases that I use currency is the new
cloud you could offer somebody nowadays, Hey, kid, twenty year old,
you want ten thousand dollars or ten thousand followers? Man,
they gonna take them followers and a heartbeat. We're in
(39:03):
a different ten thousand likes. So you could say a
million dollars or a million follows. They might they might
scratch their hands. They'll do a million followers, Yeah, make
a million. If a million, there you go. It's a
different d.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Wade said, what about Kobe? We'll tell you
